Edgehead2000 Presents- World Wrestling Entertainment: 2007

My last thread ended on April 30th 2009.

Edgehead2000 Presents- World Wrestling Entertainment 2007

2007 was kind of a bad year for the WWE. Pay Per Views were poor, the TV Shows were terrible and of course, the murder-suicide of Chris Benoit. What I will try to do in this Be the Booker is to re-create the year 2007 and make it better then in real life. I am going to start the night after the Royal Rumble pay per view. I have made up results for pay per views from Cyber Sunday to the Royal Rumble since I don't like the way most of those events turned out. So yeah, wish me luck. All pay per views are joint branded. Also, Chris Benoit will not be used in this thread for obvious reasons. Also, ECW never happened.

London and Hardy released? Meh, I don't really agree with that, but you got rid of the women's division which more than makes up for it! I am not familiar with your work, but you've set this all out nicely so I wish you all the very best.

Okay, so I like what you did with the women's division, and killing of ECW will make this BTB a lot easier for you. Just wondering though, what do you plan to do with Kurt, I hope you keep him on.

My BTB-Bill Gates Presents the Gates Fighting Corporation-check it out

Hey, Edgehead, good to see you.

Anyways, I like the whole preview of your thread. I would have kept Lashley though because he could have had some good potential feuds with certain wrestlers but eliminating ECW and the Women's division is a great idea. That way, you'll be able to focus more on the real wrestlers and talent.

I will be reading this thread and seeing how this goes. Good luck man.

Re: Edgehead2000 Presents- World Wrestling Entertainment: 2007

Thanks to those who wished good luck. What I am going to do now is post some News & Notes, and A Preview of Raw tomorrow and Raw on Tuesday. I am still in need of banners, so PM me if interested.

WWE News & Notes

~ The decision to put the World Heavyweight Title on John "Bradshaw" Layfield last night at the Royal Rumble was a decision that was made literally about thirty minutes before the show started. The feeling backstage is that JBL doesn't have much time left due to his bad back so most feel this is his final run with the belt.

~ Speaking of bad backs, Most backstage feel that Shawn Michaels is also near the end of his rope as a full time superstar. Michaels has been battling numerous injuries throughout the years since he returned full time back in the summer of 2002. Rumor has it that Michaels has told people that Wrestlemania 23 might be one of, if not his last Wrestlemania. Expect Michaels to vouch to do something big this year at Wrestlemania if it is indeed his final hurrah at Wrestlemania.

~ Many names have been thrown around as to who might face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 23. One name that seemed to be a real possibility was Chris Benoit, but he was forced to retire due to a bad neck. One name that stood out was Rob Van Dam. For those who don't know, Wrestlemania is being held in Rob Van Dam's home state of Michigan this year. Other names mentioned were William Regal, Batista, An Inter-brand Dream Match with Shawn Michaels and a World Heavywweight Title Match with John "Bradshaw" Layfield.

~ Expect William Regal to get a huge push in the coming months. Like JBL and Shawn Michaels, Regal is being seen as being towards the end of his career. This might explain why Regal's name was discussed as a possibility to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 23.

~ The Official Theme Song for WWE No Way Out is *Merry Go Round* by Puddle of Mudd off of their upcoming album Famous.

~ Kurt Angle is said to be in much better shape then he was back in early to mid 2006. He is said to be in much better moods and looks better physically aswell. His WWE Championship match with Triple H last night only enforced this believe in Angle being in much better shape physically and mentally, as the match is being praised as a great match.

~ The Plan for John Cena to win the Royal Rumble was in the cards since Cena lost the WWE Championship to Triple H at Armageddon back in December. Try to guess what the planned main event for Wrestlemania this year is....seriously, it's obvious folks

So there it is. Preview up tomorrow and First Monday Night Raw Tuesday probably if all goes according to plan.

Re: Edgehead2000 Presents- World Wrestling Entertainment: 2007

-JBL being almost at his career's end is believable. I say he'll carry the title tile WM.

-Aw, I don't want the showstopper to stop(see what I did there?). HBK retiring will be a huge talent loss but a beneficial gain for HBK himself.

-Regal has always been underrated, imo. Ive seen him wrestle in WCW in the TV division with Ultimo Dragon, Alex Wright, Finlay, and Jericho. Regal getting a decent push is all good for me.

-Undertaker's streak should be ended by an up and coming talent. Regal and JBL are champs so I don't think that's right. Batista shouldn't even be considered but HBK, maybe, if they put on a good show.

-Cena and HHH? Huh, let me take five seconds to pretend I'm excited.

All right, I'm done. Either way, whoever is champion, the readers lose in the end.

Angle maybe the person to take HBK's spot as a main event talent that elevates young stars and wrestles in big events, maybe even get a title run.

All in all, looking good for the WWE. Nice job so far.

Re: Edgehead2000 Presents- World Wrestling Entertainment: 2007

WWE Monday Night Raw
January 29th 2007
Dallas, Texas

Monday Night Raw opens up with a video package showing the events from the previous nights Royal Rumble pay per view. It shows highlights from the historic main event between Kurt Angle and WWE Champion, which Triple H won after hitting Angle with not one, but two pedigrees to retain his championship. It then shows highlights from the Royal Rumble Match and the epic showdown between Shawn Michaels and John Cena, where the winner would go on to be in the main event of Wrestlemania 23. Cena ended up eliminating Michaels and the match by countering Sweet Chin Music and lifting up Michaels and F-Uing Michaels over the top rope and onto the floor. The video package ends with Cena standing on the top rope and pointing at the Wrestlemania 23 logo while fireworks go off in the background.

The usual Raw opening video then plays. We then go to the arena where pyro goes off. Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler then welcome us to the show. They hype last nights Royal Rumble Match. The promote the card for the night, which includes Jeff Hardy defending his Intercontinental Championship against Umaga and John Cena will make his decision of who he wants to face in the main event of Wrestlemania 23.

The winner of the 2007 Royal Rumble John Cena comes out to his usual mixed reaction from the crowd in Dallas, Texas. He slaps hands with some of his fans at ringside and grabs a microphone from a stage hand before sliding into the ring. Cena's music stops and a loud “Cena” chant starts. Cena soaks in the chant before starting.

Loud Cheers are heard with a few boos mixed in.

John Cena: And Damnit I'm going to WRESTLEMANIA!!!

More cheers are heard with a few boos mixed in.

John Cena: Last night at the Royal Rumble I outlasted twenty nine other guys who had the same dream as me and that is to headline the greatest spectacle in sports entertainment today and that is Wrestlemania 23!!

More cheers.

John Cena: And in the end it came down to me and Shawn Michaels. I stood eye to eye with The Icon, The Showstopper, The Main Event and Mr. Wrestlemania himself. I saw in his eyes that he had the same dream as me. He wanted to main event Wrestlemania one last time, have one last go around on the grandest stage of them all with the grandest prize in our industry on the line...the WWE Championship!

More Cheers

John Cena: But in the end I prevailed and now I will be headlining Wrestemania twenty three on April 1st. Now I know what you all are wondering...who will I choose to face in the main event at Wrestlemania? Will it be World Heavyweight Champion John “Bradshaw” Layfield?

Crowd boos at the mention of JBL.

John Cena: Now that I think of it, I have beaten JBL's ass more times then I can care to count and plus I have already embarrassed him at Wrestlemania two years ago and ended his WWE Championship reign.

Crowd pops at the mention of that memory.

John Cena: And now this brings me to my other option....the WWE Champion Triple H! The man who back at Armaggedon in December took my WWE Championship from me. Last year at Wrestlemania, me and Triple H had a match for the ages that will be remembered for years to come. And I know that Hunter is dying for a re-match with me and I can't think of a better place for Cena-Triple H II then on the grandest stage of them all Wrestlemania. So at Wrestlemania it will be.....

The music of Shawn Michaels, the runner up in last nights' Royal Rumble hits. Michaels receives a huge pop from his home state crowd. He is all business tonight, as he comes out with no pyro or any taunts. He grabs a microphone from a stage hand a ringside and enters the ring.

Shawn Michaels: I've got to hand it to you John. Last night you were the better man. I made one mistake and you took advantage of it and in turn won the Royal Rumble Match.

Mixed Reaction.

Shawn Michaels: But that is not going to stop me from main eventing Wrestlemania one last time! I'm going to cut to the chase John and just ask you this: How do you feel about going one on one with the Heartbreak Kid with your Wrestlemania main event spot on the line tonight?!

Crowd erupts at the thought of Michaels Vs. Cena happening for the first time ever tonight.

Shawn Michaels: See John you have done great things throughout your short career and I have done many great things throughout my storied career but both of us have not done of thing and that is face each other in a one on one match. I have never beaten you and you have never beaten me and that is about to change tonight. It is going to be the biggest main event in Raw's history. The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels taking on John Cena with the winner going onto Main Event Wrestlemania 23. What do you say John?

John Cena deliberates it for a minute. Shawn Michaels extends his hand for John Cena to shake it and make the match official. The crowd is telling John to accept the challenge. However, before the challenge can be accepted.....

The music of the owner of the WWE Vince McMahon plays. Vince McMahon stands on the entrance ramp to soak in the cheers from the crowd.

Vince McMahon: CUT MY MUSIC!! Now I am out here for two reasons and two reasons only.

Crowd is excited for what the two announcements are.

Vince McMahon: First off, I regret to inform you two and all of these fans in attendance tonight that the Shawn Michaels Vs. John Cena match you two have been discussing will not happen tonight.

Huge heat for McMahon.

Vince McMahon: However, it could happen...just not tonight because in three weeks time we have a Pay Per View entitled No Way Out. And at that pay per view the long awaited Shawn Michaels Vs. John Cena match might take place but first Shawn Michaels is going to have to earn it.

The camera focuses on Shawn Michaels, who has a baffled look on his face.

Vince McMahon: You see to make up for you fans not getting to see John Cena taking on Shawn Michaels tonight...I am going to give you the next best thing because right here tonight in this very ring Shawn Michaels will be in action!

Huge Pop.

Vince McMahon: and his opponent will be none other then the WWE CHAMPION TRIPLE H!!!!!

Huge pop for Shawn Michaels Vs. Triple H happening tonight.

Vince McMahon: But in a non title match.

The cheers quickly to turn to boos at the match being a non title match.

Vince McMahon: But don't worry Shawn I'm not going to make you face your best friend for no reason because if you win tonight then at No Way Out you will face John Cena for the right to Main Event Wrestlemania 23 April 1st in Detroit, Michigan.

Huge Pop.

Vince McMahon: Which brings me to the second reason why I came out here. At No Way Out we are going to bare witness to the return of the Elimination Chamber.

Huge pop.

Vince McMahon: But I was thinking...why have only Elimination Chamber match when you can have two so I came to the conclusion that at No Way Out we will have not only one Elimination Chamber match...but two Elimination Chamber Matches in the same night for the first time ever. Not only that but both the WWE and World Heavyweight Title will defended inside the structure at No Way Out in three weeks time. Now I suggest that you two (Points at John Cena and Shawn Michaels) leave the ring because the first Elimination Chamber qualifying match takes place right about....now.

The Big Show comes out to a good amount of heat. The seven foot, five hundred pounder enters the ring as Shawn Michaels and John Cena leave. As The Big Show plays to the crowd, we go to a commercial break.

Commercial Break

**Child's Play**

Eugene comes out to a decent pop from the crowd. Eugene walks slowly to the ring, looking scared to death. Meanwhile in the ring, The Big Show has a menacing smile on his face.

Jim Ross: This just isn't right King. Putting someone like Eugene in the ring with the seven foot, five hundred pound Big Show is a recipe for disaster.

Jerry Lawler: Looks like The Big Show is going to have to teach Eugene some obedience.

Jim Ross: What in the hell are you talking about King?

Jerry Lawler: I'm saying The Big Show might knock some sense into Eugene. Mr. McMahon is just trying to help this young man out J.R.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
The Big Show Vs. Eugene

Finish: The Big Show picks up a fallen Eugene by his head and tosses him into the upper right turnbuckle. The Big Show then nails Eugene with a few hard open hard chops to the chest. The Big Show then backs up to allow Eugene to stumble out of the corner. Eugene then walks right into a huge right handed punch to his face. King then makes a smart comment about that punch possibly knocking some sense into Eugene. Show then grabs a fallen Eugene by his throat and lifts him up for a huge chokeslam. Big Show then puts his foot on top of Eugene for the cover and the three count.

Winner via pinfall- The Big Show (03:11)

Jim Ross: What a dominant victory for The Big Show here tonight.

Jerry Lawler: Indeed J.R. Let's hope that right hand by The Big Show knocked some sense into Eugene.

Jim Ross: The Big Show is definently going to be a force to be reckoned with inside the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship at No Way out.

The Big Show walks up the ramp slowly to a chorus of boos from the crowd as his music plays. At the top of the ramp, The Big Show turns around and lifts his right hand in the air, the same hand he used to knock Eugene out with in his match. Show then walks to the backstage area.

Backstage, The WWE Champion Triple H is seen watching the monitor, with his WWE Championship belt over his shoulder. Backstage interviewer Todd Grishem walks up to him to see if he can get a few words with the champion.

Todd Grishem: Triple H, I was wondering if I can get a few words with you on you having to defend your WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out in three weeks.

Triple H: Todd, I have been in numerous Elimination Chamber matches throughout my career and I have won Elimination Chamber matches. Two years ago I won my tenth World Title inside an Elimination Chamber. The Chamber is no foreign concept to me. I have been in every Elimination Chamber match in history except one. I have defeated the likes of Bill Goldberg, Edge, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Kevin Nash and even my opponent for tonight Shawn Michaels inside the devil's structure and at No Way Out in three weeks I plan to walk in and walk out still the WWE Champion.

Todd Grishem: With that said I was also wondering If I can get your thoughts on facing Shawn Michaels later tonight?

Triple H: Shawn is not only a friend to me he is my best friend. We have traveled thousands of miles on the road together back when we were both in the Clique. And tonight if he beats me then he gets the right to face John Cena for his Wrestlemania title opportunity at No Way Out. Shawn, let me just tell you this don't expect me to lay down for you tonight just because you're my best friend. You are going to get the best of the game tonight in that very ring.....

Shawn Michaels walks into the picture and gets nose to nose with Triple H.

Shawn Michaels: Hunter....I wouldn't expect anything less from you tonight. Me and you have waged many wars with each other in the past and tonight is just going to be another chapter in the greatest rivalry in sports entertainment history. And Hunter, once I beat you and go onto No Way Out and defeat John Cena....I plan on taking the WWE Championship away from you at Wrestlemania.

Triple H and Shawn Michaels stay nose to nose with each other for a couple of more seconds.

Triple H: Shawn...I wouldn't expect anything less.

Triple H and Shawn Michaels then shake hands as we go to a commercial.

Commercial Break

When we return from the break, “The Legend Killer” Randy Orton makes his way to the ring to a chorus of boos. He does his usual cocky walk to the ring before entering the ring.

The former Intercontinental and United States Champion Carlito comes out to a few cheers from the crowd.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
Randy Orton Vs. Carlito

Randy Orton controls the opening minutes of the match, using his epic chinlocks to keep the high flying Carlito grounded. Hell, at one point in the match Orton kept Carlito in a chinlock for damn near a minute and a half. Carlito got back on the offensive after finally getting out of an Orton chinlock and nailing the Legend Killer with a few right hands to the face. However, Carlito eventually fell victim to the RKO, just like many before him had and Orton qualified for the Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out.
Winner via pinfall: Randy Orton. (07:52)

Randy Orton quickly slides out of the ring and runs up the ramp. Orton does his usual destiny pose on the top of the ramp while Carlito struggles to get up in the ring. Orton yells “It is my Destiny” with a small smirk on my face.

Commercial Break

When we return from the break, Todd Grishem is standing by with the only Olympic Gold Medalist in WWE history and the man who lost to Triple H last night at the Royal Rumble, Kurt Angle.

Todd Grishem: Ladies and gentlemen I am standing by with the only Olympic Gold Medalist in Wrestling history, Kurt Angle. Kurt, last night you fell just short of defeating Triple H for his WWE Title but tonight you get a chance to redeem yourself as up next you have an Elimination Chamber qualifying match. What are you thoughts?

Kurt Angle: Todd, last night Triple H was the better man. He beat me fair and square in the middle of the ring last night. But you can never keep Kurt Angle down and once I qualify for the Elimination Chamber I will go on to become a seven time World Champion and main event Wrestlemania once again. Oh It's true...It's damn true.

“The Rated R Superstar” Edge walks into the picture clapping his hands.

Edge: Bravo Kurt Bravo! Keep feeding these fans your propaganda about how your going to become WWE Champion once again. Kurt, wrestling has passed you by. You are a shell of your former self Kurt. Since you last held a World Title back in 2006 I have won the belt not once...but twice. I became the highest rated champion this decade.

Kurt Angle: Hold on Edge. What title reigns are you talking about?

Edge: OK Kurt real funny. I'll have you know that I beat John Cena not once...but twice to become WWE Champion.

Kurt Angle: Oh yeah...I remember now. And John Cena then proceeded to make you his bitch not once...but twice (Mocks Edge.) I also remember that I took a shit and missed both of your title reigns apparently. Now if you excuse me, I have a match up next. See you around.

Kurt Angle walks off laughing while Edge looks pissed off at Kurt Angle.

Commercial Break.

When we return from the break, Kenny Dykstra is already in the ring, awaiting his opponent. His opponent is....

Kurt Angle comes out to a huge pop from the crowd. Angle gets his usual pyro before coming to the ring.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
Kurt Angle Vs. Kenny Dykstra

This was a short, squash match. Angle showed intensity throughout and Dykstra got no offense in the entire match. Angle hits the Angle Slam and makes Dykstra submit to the Ankle Lock to gain entry to the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out.
Winner via submission- Kurt Angle (01:45)

MEDAL plays as Kurt Angle climbs up on all four turnbuckles and celebrates his victory and his advancement to the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out. As Angle turns around to leave, he is met with a huge SPEAR BY EDGE!! Edge apparently took offense to what Angle said to him backstage. Edge started to punch Angle in the face numerous times. He punched him so much that he drew blood from Kurt Angle. Edge then slid to the outside of the ring and grabbed two steel chairs. He placed one under the head of Kurt Angle and kept the other one in his hand. Edge then went for a one man Con-Chairto but JEFF HARDY came in through the crowd and grabbed the chair out of Edge's hands. Hardy tried to hit Edge with it but Edge slid out of the ring before Hardy could hit him with it. As Edge backed up the ramp, Vince McMahon came out.

Vince McMahon: Hold on just a damn minute. Edge, you wanna get in a fight so damn bad? You wanna beat someone up so damn bad? Well I'm going to give you the opportunity right now because up next it will be Edge taking on the Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match right now!!!

Huge pop from the crowd.

Vince McMahon: But you know what? Let's put more at stake then just an Elimination Chamber spot. Let's make this match for the Intercontinental Championship aswell and that match starts...right now!!!

Referee Chad Patton runs down to the ring and gets in the middle of the ring. Edge refuses to enter the ring until Jeff Hardy drops the steel chair, which Hardy does. Before Edge could enter the ring, Kurt Angle jumped Edge from behind and gave him the Angle Slam on the floor. Angle then rolled Edge into the ring. Angle then backed up the ramp as we went to a commercial break.

Commercial Break.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match for the Intercontinental Championship.
© Jeff Hardy Vs. Edge

We join this match in progress as we come back from the commercial break. Jeff Hardy is on the attack, as he took advantage of Kurt Angle giving Edge an Angle Slam on the floor before the match officially began. Edge gets on the offensive after Jeff Hardy crashes and burns on a cross body to the outside of the ring attempt. Edge works his usual offensive formula, which is slow but keeps the high flying Jeff Hardy grounded. The turning point in the match came when Edge went for a superplex from the top rope but Hardy countered it into a sunset flip from the top rope. Hardy covered Edge, but only got a two out of it. The finish of the match came when Edge speared Jeff Hardy, but Hardy rolled to the outside of the ring. Edge then distracted the referee as UMAGA came down to ringside and gave Hardy a Samoan Drop on the floor along with the Samoan Spike. The Referee then turned around and counted a fallen Hardy on the floor and awarded Edge the victory.
Winner via count out: Edge (14:05) Jeff Hardy is still the Intercontinental Champion.

After the match Edge runs up the ramp and celebrates his victory and entrance the Elimination Chamber match. Meanwhile, Jeff Hardy was still on the outside of the ring in pain from Umaga's assault on him which cost him the match.

Commercial Break

Jim Ross: Welcome back everybody to Monday Night Raw and we already have five of the six available slots in Raw's Elimination Chamber for the WWE Title at No Way Out filled.

Jerry Lawler: It is shaping up to be one hell of a match. Triple H will be defending his WWE Championship against The Big Show, Randy Orton, Kurt Angle, Edge and one to be announce opponent inside of the Devil's Playground February 18th at No Way Out.

Jim Ross: While we are on the topic of matches we have another one announced that just came from the office of Mr. McMahon. At No Way Out Jeff Hardy will be defending his Intercontinental Title against “The Samoan Bulldozer” Umaga, but this time in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.

Jerry Lawler: These two faced off just last night at the Royal Rumble and Jeff Hardy just narrowly escaped with his title and career. But at No Way Out, with the rules benefiting Umaga, I can't see Jeff Hardy walking out with any of those things I just mentioned intact.

The former Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro comes out to a decent amount of heat for the final Elimination Chamber qualifying match of the evening.

Jim Ross: Speaking of the Intercontinental Championship, here comes a former Intercontinental Champion himself, the young, cocky and arrogant Johnny Nitro.

Super Crazy comes out to a decent size pop. Too bad nobody expects him to actually win this match.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
Johnny Nitro Vs. Super Crazy

Could the winner in this match be any more obvious. If Crazy were to some how win this, we would have the biggest joke ever in an Elimination Chamber match this side of Kevin Nash. I still Love you Kevin. Oh yeah, onto the match. Nitro beats some ass and picks up the victory after a Corkscrew Moonsult from the top rope and just like that, the Raw Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship at No Way Out is set.
Winner via pinfall: Johnny Nitro (03:00)

After the three count, Johnny Nitro immediately starts to celebrate getting his first shot at the WWE Championship in his young career. He posses in the ring as the Paparazzi take pictures of potentially the next WWE Champion.

Commercial Break

The music of “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels plays. Shawn Michaels comes out to a much louder pop then usual (Which is pretty loud in it's own right) since we are in his home state of Texas. Michaels gets his usual pyro and does his cocky strut to the ring that he always does.

Jim Ross: Here we go ladies and gentlemen, our main event for tonight. This is possibly the biggest main event in Monday Night Raw history. It is do or die time for Shawn Michaels. If he wins he will face John Cena at No Way Out with the winner going on to headline Wrestlemania 23. If Michaels loses, then he can kiss any shot that he has of main eventing Wrestlemania 23 goodbye.

The WWE Champion Triple H comes out to a mixed reaction. He doesn't get his usual monster pop since we are in Shawn Michaels' home state.

If Shawn Michaels wins, he faces John Cena at No Way Out for the Wrestlemania main event spot

This was a great match up to end the show. The crowd was behind Michaels the entire way. Triple H used his power to get on the offensive advantage first, but Michaels battled his way back, only for his momentum to be stopped by a huge Double A Spinebuster at the nine minute mark. Michaels finally started his comeback after backdropping Triple H out of a Pedigree attempt and nailing Triple H with a huge DDT. Michaels then hit all of his usual moves, which included the flying forearm, Elbow Drop from the top rope and the nip-up. The finishing sequence went like this. Michaels went for Sweet Chin Music but Triple H. Triple H then kicked Michaels in the gut and went for another Pedigree but Michaels once again backdropped Triple H out of the attempt. Triple H got up quickly and ran right into Sweet Chin Music from Michaels. Shawn Michaels then fell on top of Triple H. 1....2....3!!! Shawn Michaels is going to No Way Out!!
Winner via pinfall: Shawn Michaels (13:45)
Sexy Boy played as Shawn Michaels celebrated in the ring. As he celebrated, John Cena walked down the ramp and to ringside, unbeknown to Shawn Michaels. Michaels then turns around a sees John Cena standing there. Instead of coming into the ring, John Cena simply salutes Shawn Michaels as a sign of respect. Cena mouths the words “May The Best Man Win.” John Cena and Shawn Michaels have a stare down as Monday Night Raw ends.

Re: Edgehead2000 Presents- World Wrestling Entertainment: 2007

Awesome show, edgehead. I'll review match by match.

First off, great opening segment. Both Cena and HBK were in character and a potential Cena/HBK match would definately shape up Wrestlemania.

Big Show vs. Eugene - Uh, duh? Big Show looks to be dominant and the favorite to win right now. Just keep his dominance intact.

HHH and HBK showing respect. What I liked about this segment was that it wasn't over the top corny but it didn't hint any turns or dissents. It was just a true matter of respect and it accomplished what it accomplished.

Orton vs. Carlito - Again, another squash. Orton, I guess, got his win but I actually thought Carlito may have done a surprise win. Oh well.

Angle made me lol with his promo on Edge. Angle still rebounds from his loss from H by attacking verbally Edge. Nice.

Angle vs. Dykstra - Squash, basically. Edge attacking Angle was predictable but did what it needed to do by making Edge a huge heel and attacking one of the top faces.

Hardy vs. Edge - Which led to this match. I actually though Angle would cause Edge the match but UMAGA comes out and takes out Jeff Hardy, making Edge go to the EC while Jeff retains his IC belt. A unique finish there.

Nitro vs. Crazy - Another predictable match. I gotta say, these elimination chamber qualifiers sounds like easy wins. I mean, maybe you could have had two squashes but I kinda expected then other competative matches between two superstars. Felt like I knew the results each time.

HBK vs. HHH - MOTN obviously which establishes HBK's road to becoming WWE champion but doesn't make HHH look weak at all. Cena at the end telling HBK may the best man win tells me we're in for a great match at NWO.

Overall, a great debut show for your thread, edgehead. The matches were pretty okay up untill the main event. You had great segments and you setted up feuds that should carry all the way to Wrestlemania and even beyond that. Great job and I'll be reading this thread from now on.

PS: By the way, make sure you review my latest Horizon show if you have the chance.
