2009 BTB Spring Awards

Okay, fellas (and lady fellas), good 'ol WC-Dubya Rules is handling The Awards once again. It's that time of the year again! This is the second time we're running the Seasonal Awards in BTB, and the timeframe of eligibility for the awards are from March 1, 2009, through May 31, 2009. The nomination process will run through the week and the weekend, which will give you guys plenty of time to compile those threads and bookers whom you feel are deserving of an award. Now, here are the categories, peeps;

Best BTB

Best New BTB

Best Match

Best Promo

Best PPV

---

Best Booker

Most Improved Booker

Best Match Writer

Best Promo Writer

---

Best Used Character(s)

Remember, ONLY threads active from March 1 through May 31 are eligible, m'kay?

The nomination process will be the initial phase in deciding the BTB Awards. Please PM me your nominees, however, I encourage you compile your own list of deserving nominees in this thread, because very often do us bookers tend to forget within a three month time span. You ARE ALLOWED to list yourself as a nominee in the thread, but under NO CIRCUMSTANCES may you VOTE FOR YOURSELF when you PM me your nominations. That's a big no-no. Remember folks, nominations posted in this thread are not valid unless you actually PM me. Nominations posted here are just to refresh the memories of other bookers.

On Sunday, June 7, I will post the final nominees that you will then vote for in the final round of the Awards.

When nominating PPVs, matches, and promos, I strongly encourage you provide links to said nominations. It'd make my job so much easier.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them here. So, mangs, get-tuh steppin' on that votin'!

Re: 2009 BTB Spring Awards

So... I can nominate myself here, right? But NOT by PM? Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, just a few I'd love to see considered, even though I know it's a long-ass shot:

Yes, you can vouch for yourself here, however, you CANNOT vote for yourself via PM.

Re: 2009 BTB Spring Awards

Question, can we nominate for only a few awards? Or do we have to choose something for each award?

I encourage you nominate for at least 3/4, or very near of said amount, of the categories.

Re: 2009 BTB Spring Awards

So... closing date is Saturday?

I think I basically have my final nominations. But I want to be sure to read as many BTBs as I can to make sure I'm all set.

Re: 2009 BTB Spring Awards

To Loneshark: Yes, 12:00 AM on Sunday is the deadline. However, it's 12:00 AM MY TIME. So, I'll be giving leeway for my peeps in Europe and so forth, giving you guys extra time. As for those who live on the West Coast of the USA, I'll also give you guys a three hour window after 12:00 AM for nominations. It's more so the actual Award winners that I'm concerned about, though.

To Wolf Beast: That's alright, man. I can understand being lazy; aren't we all at times?
