A little too 'camp' but it's outside the box, I like it. It needs to be something tat would work on Raw or Nitro and not seem too silly.

Re: BTB Discussion Thread - June 2009

I have a question: I recently joined LaurinaitisOSU's new thread and have taken over his all diva's show. Since women's wrestling is crapped upon in the BTB section, will that mean that nobody will read the shows?

I was looking through some of the titles of films based in the 70's and came across the movie Almost Famous. Using that as a starting point, I thought of the name Already Famous.

I think it would be a good fit for the team because they would be coming from the developmental system as relative unknowns but would be arrogant enough to say that they are already big time superstars.

Plus, every time the ring announcer would have to introduce them it would be similar to the name the World's Greatest Tag Team...

"And their opponents, weighing in at a combined weight of 415 pounds, they are "Already Famous", Joey Ryan & Z-Barr!"

Or maybe something more obnoxious like "The Skin Deep Stallions".

There are probably some readers who would be apathetic to the concept of an all women's wrestling show but there will also be readers who are fans of women's wrestling and whose interest might be piqued. It's all a matter of providing a quality product.

Shimmer is an all women's wrestling promotion with a niche audience. However, they probably wouldn't be in existence today if they didn't produce shows that warranted their fans' continual support.

After a quick glance at your show, my suggestion would be to work on your grammar and spelling. Even though it was in short recap form, it was still riddled with errors. If you had took the time to reread the show, you probably would've been able to catch the mistakes and correct them.

I personally dig Crooked Reflection's idea of 'Already Famous'. Just rolls off of the tounge and is pretty effective in getting them over before they get into the ring. I regret to say that I'm not familiar with either of the two guys, but best of luck with using them.

I really don't see women's wrestling crapped upon at all on this forum, so I don't see it being a problem.

Well yeah, women's wrestling has been pretty disregarded in this forum, and some people might not really be interested. But if you want to do it, don't let that stop you. Besides, unless they had a succesful BTB in the past, nobody has gotten a large following right off the bat. If you just work at it, and produce good shows, then eventually you'll gain a following. Don't be discouraged by having only a few (if anybody) reading your BTB in the beginning, just keep working at it.

Women's wrestling could be great, it's just that in the WWE they are not given any storylines to work with, therefore the product seems bland and uninteresting. The key to making a women's division work is to place the women in interesting, original storylines that grab peoples attention.
