It’s that time of the month again, it is time for the May 2009
BTB Mega Standings! It’s been three months since the last instalment, but I’m planning to do this monthly, or bi-monthly, depending on how much time I have on these busy hands. Anyways, let’s explain the rules, one more time!
To partake in the BTB Mega Standings, all you have to do is
PM me a Top 7 of your personal favourite BTBs. You have to number the BTBs from 1 to 7, 1 being the best, 7 being, well, the 7th best. How this will work is, everyone who is anyone can vote by PMing me their votes, and then points will be given to a BTB for each vote it gets. A vote for #1 will earn it 7 points, a #2 slot 6 points, and down the line to where if it gets voted in the #7 slot, it earns 1 point. For example, say Nige’s BTB is voted 5 times altogether; 2 first places votes, a 3rd place vote, a 5th place vote, and a 7th place vote. He'd get 7pts + 7pts + 5pts + 3pts + 1pt, for a grand total 23 points. Those 23 points will determine how high or low it ranks in the standings. The BTB with the most points will become the #1 BTB in the Mega Standings, and we go down from the list to there.
This month's list will look a little bit different, as I'm only going to compose a final list of
12 BTBs. However, if you are voting,
you MUST vote for 7 BTBs altogether. You can't just vote for 1 BTB as #1, you have fill out a complete list of Top 7 BTBs. Also, you cannot vote for yourself. Failure to follow these steps, make your votes null and void.
An 'active' BTB is a BTB that has been posted within the month, has had a show posted within the month, and is past one page in length. So the BTB must have had a show posted on or since
May 1, 2009.I realise this is not exactly one month, but I’m setting this date so to not make things complicated. If a BTB was posted in from there up to now, it's listed as an 'active' BTB. Also, the BTB must have at least one show posted in it. Because well, no BTB can be considered something great if it doesn't even have a show up yet. Also, the BTB must be past one page. This is because a lot of BTBs pop up each month, put up a quick show, and then disappear. This way, it’s just a little bit less of a hassle for me to do, and well, no BTB that’s not even past 1 page will get votes anyway, me thinks. Here is what should be, a list of the BTBs that meet these requirements. A few of these may be inaccurate, a few may be missing. I did my best to make sure I got it all right, but meh, mistakes happen, and no one is perfect. Again, if your BTB should be in here, and it isn't, PM me, and I will add it in. Thanks.
