The show starts with a recap of raw where Matt hardy's brother Jeff hardy winning the no:1 contenders match.
Matt hardy is in the ring
Matt:Everybody knows that my brother is the new no:1 contender for the WWE championship.My brother won it against the greatest wrestlers in the world.It is a shame to me not being a champion in a singles competition so i am asking teddy long to give me a chance to become the new no:1 contender for the world heavyweight championship.
The crowd chants

We see our general manager talking with some guy with a black hat and a black coat.
Teddy:Matt hardy just came and told me that his partner will be you.
Unknown:He will surely win and it will be a triple threat with me,Matt and edge.
Vickie Guerrero appears
Teddy:Vickie here is the one who would defeat you fiancee. The Undertaker! He has been re-hired by me to face edge at royal rumble.
Vickie:What! That old man is going to face my fiancee.
Undertaker hits a chokeslam to Vickie Guerrero
Teddy: You sure are a great guy.Vickie is not in a good medical condition so the assistant general manager of smackdown is Layla my girlfriend.
Edge makes his appearance when the lights go off and when the lights come on.Undertaker has disappeared.
Edge:Yuck! its your girlfriend.
Teddy:Yuck!Is that your girlfriend lying there.
Edge spears Teddy long.
We get back to J.R and Jerry lawler.
Jim Ross:That happened very badly no managers in smackdown now.
Jerry lawler:I don't think so because..............
"Here come the money".Shane McMahon appears out of now where.
Shane McMahon:As we all know there is no General manager on smackdown so I cancel the main event and the other matches and make a small 10 man battle royal to find out the new general manager of smackdown and the assistant general manager of smackdown and the last five standing in the ring is automatically qualified for the rumble but the first five superstars eliminated will have a short battle royal next week and the winner will qualify for the rumble.
Jerry lawler:Its a great announcement for the whole smackdown roster.
Jim Ross:Its a great announcement for you Jerry,Cause you are not wrestling tonight.
Jerry lawler: Did you tell something Ross.

Big show vs Festus vs Mark Henry (Royal Rumble match qualifying)
Big show won the match by a chokeslam to Mark Henry at 8.62.
Festus was reported injured due to a broken rib cage after mark Henry and big show double super suplexed him to a table.
Jerry lawler:Next up we have the debut match of "Primo" the brother of "Carlito".
Jim Ross:We have a new Carlito.Thats cool!
Carlito grabs a mic from the ring announcer "eve".
Carlito:As you know we are the new wwe tag team champions.All thanks to my brother "Primo" Together we will host Carlito's cabana.

3.Edge (He was eliminated by John cena after a Attitude adjuster out of the ring.)
4.Mark henry (He was big booted by The undertaker out of the ring.)
5.Big show (The other 5 superstars lifted him off the ground and slammed him over the top rope.)
6.Undertaker (He walked out of the match.)
7.John cena (He was batista bombed out of the ring.)
8.Matt hardy (He was double suplexed by Triple H and Batista.)
9.Batista (He was spine bustered out of the ring.
