Well I am back to BTB, and this time with a TNA thread. I had an old one which I really enjoyed. My last Booking project became too much for me, writing two shows for a week was not good, and I want to take it slower. If anyone wants to know what happened in my WWE thread then PM and I will show you the plans I had written up until Backlash. But enough of that, it’s time for a change and let the back-story begin.
P.S. If anything from this period is slightly wrong, do not fret it will all change anyway, you will see in the roster some superstars have already been added, and some storylines dropped. The back-story will explain why I have started from this period.
2008 for TNA was a good year; things seem to be getting slightly better, moving along slowly. All that was until, it began to change. The introduction of Mick Foley to TNA wrestling shocked fans around the world. Soon, a new belt was introduced with no credibility, and a storyline full of young versus old was the tipping point … was it all starting to go wrong. TNA was heading for freefall, television audiences were not rising … though good things would come from this, more PPV’s were outside of the iMPACT Zone, TNA had its first live iMPACT, and we were officially in HD.
Now with a little tweaking I have found the perfect point to starts at, after Slammiversary 2008. Now I will take Total Nonstop Action Wrestling from here, clearing up the mess before it even happened, trying to make TNA a legit contender. There is no Main Event Mafia, there is no Legends Title Bet and no Mick Foley. Let the real TNA begin.

Hey JayDee. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't bring back your old WWE thread, as it was really picking up speed, but it's still good that you're going to continue booking. I hope you have fun with this, and that you stick with it for awhile, because I'll be reading. Good luck.
Everything is looking good JayDee, i was a reader and a fan of your WWE thread so i hope you can keep me as a reader with this one, as in the past i have struggled to stay interested in TNA threads. Anyway i wish you the best of luck.
Thanks for all the nice comments so far, I have a good feeling about this. So a preview for the first show will be up some time in the next couple of days ... meanwhile, news anyone?

Also today Karen Angle has parted way with TNA wrestling; we too wish her the best in the future.

It is true that TNA have parted ways with Shark Boy, better known as Dean Roll and Traci Brooks, also known as Tracy Brookshaw as part of a summer clean-out, so expect more to follow as well as new superstars signing on the dotted line too. But we here still are unable to believe that Curry Man, aka The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels has been let go; many think this will be a way for Daniels to return after the character of Curry Man failed to impress over the year.
Along with this TNA also have revamped their set, now only using one stage, but still keeping to entrance ways from ‘faces’ and ‘heels’ to enter from. The set is part of TNA officially debuting in HD.
Big news on the TNA front as well is that the website has been revamped and made an easier to use. Also a new, interesting feature has been added. There will now be a 30-Mintue Show shown only online presenting the best of the rest, letting talent show why they should be on IMPACT, it will also be a place for small segments to play out as well as a round up of iMPACT. It will be put up on the website on Sunday afternoons, and will also act as PPV hype, much like the WWE did with Heat before a Paper Per View. It will be called ‘Cyber Collision’ from what we know.
Curry Man and Shark Boy getting released is something i like as both are worthless junk. However i really don't mind Traci Brooks and think she plays the manager role really well.
As for Karen Angle well she equals ratings i would lie if i said i wasn't disappointed with her going not only is she steaming hot she can lead to many great storylines because she is Kurt Angle's wife.
If Christopher Daniels does not come back i will be forced to hurt you, no joke.
Little internet show is probably a smart decision because all the talent will not be used every week.
Not fussed on the releases since Shark Boy is a good jobber, but it is probably a good release. Shocked that Brooks was released since I think that she plays her role well in the company. If Daniels doesn't return, I'll go crazy.
Nice to add an internet show and sweet name for it as well. I'll be looking forward for the first show.
Great to see you back JD, I thought your old thread was great. But It's always good to see a new thread of yours as they are always exciting. Looking good so far and I'll keep a look out for your fierts show.
