Default WWE - Change Happens

WWE – Change Happens
As 2009 is drawing nearer and nearer and the annual Wrestlemania event is coming closer, the stress is on the creative team to book amazing shows each week. Vince McMahon was seemingly unhappy at the way WWE was going, and decided to disband the ECW brand. He also decided to fire most of his backroom staff and bring in some young minds. One of these young minds is Ric Flair’s nephew Richard. Vince made a bold decision and put him at the head of creative. Richard has already made it clear that he will waste no time in getting rid of people who don’t cut it anymore, and he would mould the WWE Universe around his fresh and surprising storyline ideas. He drafted some of the ECW Roster over to Smackdown and Raw, and then terminated the contracts of the rest. A few days later, the Unforgiven Pay-Per-View went on air. Every single champion kept their belts (apart from the ECW Title, but that doesn’t count ), and Vince started to regret his decision to hire Flair. Nevertheless, he kept Flair on, in the hope that he would still deliver the best Wrestlemania in the history of the company. The plans for the event were drawn up, and it was certain that from between now and Wrestlemania, change will happen.

WWE Championship Scramble
Triple H defeated The Brian Kendrick, Shelton Benjamin, MVP and Jeff Hardy to retain the WWE Championship

World Heavyweight Championship Scramble
CM Punk defeated Batista, JBL, Kane and Rey Mysterio to win the World Heavyweight championship

Extreme Rules Scramble to crown the last ever ECW Champion
Rob Van Dam defeated Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, Terry Funk and Mark Henry. Van Dam celebrated in the ring with the other originals, but then Henry cleaned house and beat them all down, before Matt Hardy ran in and made the save.

Unsanctioned Match
Chris Jericho defeated Shawn Michaels after forcing him to tap out to the Walls of Jericho. After the match Jericho beat down Michaels so bad he had to be carried out on a stretcher.

The Undertaker entered the ring and demanded Vickie Guerrero come out and meet her fate. Instead the music of Carlito hit. Carlito told Undertaker that his tricks are getting old. He said taking peoples souls isn't cool. Carlito went face to face with Undertaker and took a bite from his apple. Taker grabbed Carlito's throat, and got apple spat over his face. Carlito kicked Taker in the balls and scarpered up the ramp.

Intercontinental Championship
Santino Marella defeated Kofi Kingston with a roll-up to retain the Intercontinental Championship

WWE Tag Team Championship
Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins defeated Jesse & Festus to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships

World Tag Team Champions
Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase defeated Cryme Tyme to retain the World Tag Team Championship.

I have updated the Unforgiven results seeing as I missed out on Undertaker's segment.

This week on Smackdown, Vickie Guerrero will start a tournament to crown a new Cruiserweight Champion. Vickie also announced that Rob Van Dam will go one on one with The Undertaker, in a Number One Contender's match for the WWE title.

Default Re: WWE - Change Happens

I have regained my motivation for this. After this month, I will do monthly recaps until the Royal Rumble. After that I will enter full shows mode.

UNFORGIVEN 2008

CM Punk vs Batista (World Heavyweight Championship)
In the weeks leading up to Unforgiven, Batista has been intimidating Punk. Punk has laughed off Batista’s threats and accepted his challenge for a match.

Triple H vs Rob Van Dam (WWE Championship)
Rob Van Dam beat the Undertaker on his first night back on Smackdown, due to interference from Carlito. Van Dam and Triple H took on Carlito and Brian Kendrick, which was won when Van Dam pinned Kendrick.

The Undertaker vs Carlito
Carlito has been messing with Undertaker for a month now, and nobody is quite sure as to why. Vickie Guerrero has told Carlito to fight Undertaker at Unforgiven, and if he wins he will receive a WWE Title shot at Cyber Sunday.

Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes vs JBL and Chris Jericho (World Tag Team Championship)
JBL and Jericho united forces on the first Raw after No Mercy to take on CM Punk and Batista. JBL pinned Batista after some miscommunication between the champion and his challenger. The next week they both came out and cut a promo on Shawn Michaels. They were interrupted by Priceless, who cockily said that they were the only tag team that people need to know about, and that they could have done what Jericho did to Michaels. The teams stared down, and eventually the match was made.

Mark Henry, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder vs The Hardyz
Vickie Guerrero continued her bullying of the Hardy brothers on Smackdown. After overcoming the odds and defeating 5 other teams to get a shot at Hawkins and Ryders tag titles, Guerrero changed the match to a handicap match, with Mark Henry as H&R’s parner.

Beth Phoenix vs Lita (Womens Championship)
Stephanie McMahon has created a new brand in place of the cancelled ECW, named Glamour. All female talent will wrestle over there, and this is the last time the Womens Title will be defended on a PPV.

Gregory Helms vs The Brian Kendrick (Cruiserweight Championship)
A cruiserweight title tournament pitting the greatest high flyers against each other ended with Brian Kendrick and Gregory Helms facing off. The tournament included Jack Evans (now in FCW), Alex Shelley (getting ready to debut full time) and the returning ‘Sensational’ Shannon Moore.

Results and next months recaps when I have wrote them

In my opinion, Carlito is good where he is. Mid-card / Tag team, when a push happens, it's hard to find a way to get them back to mid-card, so I hope this won't be a mistake. RVD is over rated, that's my opinion but being the face of ECW would be enough, if it was included anyway. Indeed, I love the Cruiserweight title, but with only three cruiserweights? And one being Funaki anyway.

It looks good in parts, but when you think about things you can always find something bad in them, although nothing is wrong of course, your opinion in your thread, compared yo my opinion in your thread, can't really complain.

Good luck mate. Hope it works for ya.

I don't only have 3 cruiserweights. Read the post above yours and you will see Brian Kendrick, Alex Shelley and Jack Evans also included, with more to come.

Unforgiven 2009

CM Punk (c) def. Batista to retain the World Heavyweight Championship - An evenly contested match-up between the two megastars of Raw, ended when Punk hit the GTS on Batista.

Triple H (c) def. Rob Van Dam to retain the WWE Championship - Van Dam hit the 5 Star Frog Splash and thought he had the win, but HHH put his foot on the rope at 2. RVD didnt realise, and went to get the WWE Title. The ref stopped him, giving HHH enough time to recover, and hit the Pedigree for the win.

Chris Jericho and JBL def Priceless (c) to become the new World Tag Team Champions - JBL clotheslined both Rhodes and DiBiase, letting Jericho lock in the Walls of Jericho on Rhodes to win the titles

Carlito drew with The Undertaker - The cowardly Carlito lured Taker to the outside of the ring, where he was hit with a steel chair. The referee didnt see the incident, and when he got up, Taker and Carlito were brawling up the ramp. The match ended in a double count-out. Taker attempted to Chokeslam Carlito off of the stage, but Carlito booted The Deadman in the gut, and DDT'ed him off of the stage.

Lita def Beth Phoenix (c) to become the new Women's Champion - As the Women of the WWE prepared to move to Stephanie McMahon's new sub-company, Glamour, they needed a figure to lead them into the new era. The returning Lita will be just that.

Mark Henry, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder
def. Matt and Jeff Hardy - The trio used their numbers advantage well, and dominated the brothers for a while. The Hardys came back into things though. Matt took Hawkins and Ryder out, leaving Henry and Jeff in the ring. Jeff scaled the top rope and prepared for a splash onto Mark, but the big man caught him in mid-air, then connected with the World's Strongest Slam for the pin

Gregory Helms def. The Brian Kendrick to become the new Cruiserweight Champion - A fast paced, exciting match up to kick off the show. It showcased the ability of the cruiserweights and a sign of what is to come from the division

Default Re: WWE - Change Happens

I know posts here are few and far between, but I am determined to reach the point where I can start writing full shows. 1st of January 2009 will be when full shows start

Cyber Sunday Card

Fans Decide on opponent – CM Punk vs Batista, Shawn Michaels or Rey Mysterio

A tournament was called on to decide Punks potential opponent at Cyber Sunday. Mysterio defeated Chris Jericho, Batista defeated JBL and HBK defeated the returning Randy Orton. This means there will definitely be a face vs face main event. The two people who don’t face Punk, will face The Saviours (JBL and Jericho) for the Tag Titles

The Saviours vs The two men who aren’t picked to face CM Punk

When Shawn Michaels made his comeback one month after being injured by Chris Jericho, he had one thought on his mind...retribution. GM Adamle didn’t want one of his title holders (Jericho) to get hurt, so he banned HBK and Jericho from laying a finger on one another. If HBK isn’t picked to face Punk, he will bypass this rule and get an opportunity to have his revenge on Jericho.

HHH vs Umaga – WWE Title

Fans choose stipulation

Steel cage, Falls Count Anywhere or Last Man Standing

Umaga returned to Smackdown on a warpath. He, alongside manager Armando Estrada, aimed high. They made clear that they wanted the WWE Championship. Umaga destroyed Rob Van Dam in his first match back, and after the match HHH came out and told Umaga he can have a shot at the WWE Title as he never refuses a challenge.

Carlito vs The Undertaker

Fans choose guest referee

Big Show, Stone Cold Steve Austin or Mr McMahon

After Unforgiven, Carlito came out and said he had rid the WWE Universe of the demonic Undertaker. Vickie Guerrero said she was pleased Carlito managed to do what her pathetic husband couldn’t, and banish Taker. Carlito was offered an honorary spot in La Familia, which he declined. He asked for something bigger than a spot in that failure of a stable. He wanted a chance to end Undertaker’s career once and for all. Guerrero questioned Carlito wanting to step in the ring with The Deadman again, but Carlito explained that Taker was a broken man after taking that bump off of the ramp. It was decided that to stop Carlito using underhanded tactics, there would be a special guest referee to contain the action.

Mark Henry & ??? vs Jeff Hardy & ???

Fans decide on partners

Jeff Hardy wanted to go one on one with Mark Henry to avenge his and Matt's loss at No Mercy. Vickie Guerrero wanted to draw out Jeff's punishment, so she said that they wouldn't go 1 on 1 until she decided she had enough of Hardy. At Cyber Sunday they will face each other in a tag match. The whole of the WWE Roster can be voted to be either man's partner.

Santino Marella vs Jamie Noble

Fans decide what's at stake - Marella's Championship, Jamie Noble's job or both

Santino has held the Intercontinental Title for a while now. Jamie Noble thinks Marella has had his time in the limelight and that the Intercontinental Title should be around his waist. Santino said that Noble should not even be employed by WWE. The match was made

Gregory Helms defends his Cruiserweight Title

Fans decide how - Cruiserweight Open, 24/7 (like the Hardcore title, but only for one night), Battle Royal

Gregory Helms kicked off the first Smackdown after No Mercy celebrating with his title. The party was ruined, however, by the new alliance of The Brian Kendrick and Elijah Burke. They said that Cruiserweight's needed a better (what's the word?). Evan Bourne alligned himself with Helms, as two factions slowly started to form in the CW division
