Re: Backlash Presents: WWE 2007 and forward

Use the new one, tbh. Btw, don't worry about no reviews, just because there's no reviews it doesn't mean they don't read it, they just can't be bothered to review sometimes, like me I skimmed through the show, looks good, no Triple H in the Rumble is a catasprophy, tbh Keep it up.

Re: Backlash Presents: WWE 2007 and forward

Opening promo, very short and seemed kinda rushed. Although it did serve it's purpose and set up a big time match, NO DQ, between Taker and Show, it was very quick as each man had one line, or two tops.

Nice to Trish pick up the victory in a very quick match I could imagine. Not sure it's the best idea to say that your announcers blabbed on, but whatever works. Not having written out interviews in some parts, and then having it in others is weird. But nonetheless, nice to see the Bookerman wants some revenge against Kennedy, gonna be a great match.

Big time win for MVP right there getting a nice win over Knox. Hopefully this can lead to a push for MVP up towards the big title.

Again, not a big fan at all of the Austin/Kane promo. Very, very short, and not a lot happens. I can understand this one being short as it is a match set up, but some dialogue would have been nice, as Austin/Kane is gonna be a big time fued.

Mysterio picking up the win over Kennedy. Not quite sure what Kennedy does now, as that kills his momentum, and in my opinion, any shot at the Rumble. Nice to see a Booker attack, as hopefully we get a match between the two. Maybe even WrestleMania, which could be nice.

Show/Flair, wow a big time match, maybe not designed for a regular episode of Smackdown! as that match could be big. Understandably short, as Show has gotta wrestle twice tonight, but him winning with an elbow is odd. If he picks up two wins tonight, that is gonna be huge for him, and makes him the favorite for the title at the Rumble, IMO.

Again bro, not a fan of the one lined promos. Your really gonna need to expand on them. Sets up a nice match between MVP and Booker, but why? Booker was just attacking Kennedy a few minutes ago, doesn't make much sense to me. Still, nice little announcement for the gold come Rumble time.

Austin/Kane!? On Smackdown!? I thought you meant like down the line, not tonight. That's a WrestleMania match if I ever heard one. That could be huge. Not sure as to why you decided to have it on Smackdown!, especially with a clean finish, which basically ends the fued. Nice to see Austin get the win though as he can only go up, and where Kane goes, I have no idea.

Kennedy making his intentions clear, I'm sure MVP's happy to hear that.

Damn, you go absolutely all out with these matches. This definitely had a PPV feel to it. Crazy finish, maybe a little overkill with all the great stuff that happended already in the night, and Undertaker is trying to kill Show! Maybe Taker is the new favorite now to walk out the Champ.

It was a decent show, you had a ton of big time matches that were a lot better than Smackdown! material. Your promos are just way to short for me, as they are mostly one liners. I don't mind if you generalize what someone says, either do that, or write out the entire promo, as just leaving one line makes everything seem bland and uneven. And when your typing, you have random capitals in the beginning of words, which throws me off a little bit. Maybe it's just me, but try to fix that up a bit. You have some nice storylines, and the Rumble looks good, and you give every show some great matches, so just clean it up a little bit and make a few tweaks, and you could have a very nice show.

Re: Backlash Presents: WWE 2007 and forward

Thanks for the video recap. Helps me out when reading this show.

Styles & Cole? Hmm not sure about this team, they both have the same job as commentators. Need a Tazz or Lawler with them really.

The Undertaker calling the steel chair "unforgiving". I see what you were trying to do but it seemed to fail. No DQ announcement is cool and Big Show mentioning the bad reasons for this was cool. However the way it was worded with "possibly" and "kill each other anyway" did not sound very much like what the Big Show would say. The Deadman goin get ya? Oooh no. sounded awful and more of what the Boogeyman would say lol.

Trish beats Eve, not sure who is heel or face as there is no entrances are crowd responses in the match recap. I suggest adding that in. For example "Trish slaps eve, as the fans boo". Something like that works fine. Announcers hyping the no dq match is cool.

MVP wins is a good thing and a very surprising win, I might add. Glad you are keeping things unpredictable. Im guessing MVP is a face, as again I can't tell .

Austin "knocking" Kane over. It made Kane look really weak after that intense promo he just. I think Austin accepting and then brawling with Kane would have give you the same outcome and kept Kane looking strong.

Is Kennedy or Booker heel? Not sure. Rey must be the face and picking up the clean win almost always indicates that. Good to see Booker wait till after the match, a lot of bookers (myself included) like to use run ins a lot. So its good you didn't here.

Big Show beats Flair with an elbow and doesnt Big Show already have a match tonight? Booker vs. MVP announced for the RR seems odd since Booker is feuding with Kennedy.

Kane and Austin always put on a good match, so this was wise booking. Kane attempted a crossbody? Not sure he would, he goes for a flying clothesline, I think that would have fitted better. Stunner ends the match and all is good! Kennedy says he will screw Booker, just took out the remaining bit of suspense I had for the Match at the RR.

Main Event was written slightly longer, which it should as the main event. Ending was a huge sick bump and I loved how the referees called the match off making Undertaker look immense. One week left before the Rumble? And Big Show needs time recover which I believe he needs just a bit more time, however he is the Big Show. Also he is the champ and I expected him so the loss was again unpredictable but it did not bury him as he has already beat Flair earlier in the show.

Overall: SHort show, but I did enjoy it. Lengthen the promos and you have a good BTB going

Re: Backlash Presents: WWE 2007 and forward

Smackdown Review:

The opening promo was definitely to short, it's rare that the Undertaker gets any mic time so when he does it should be special and in this particular promo he just didn't seem in character. It also seemed like Big Show was a bit out of character acting scared and what not, Teddy Long's lines where good however and he seemed to be written well.

The opening match between Eve and Trish seems like a standard divas match, good to see Trish win.

I would have liked to see you make an attempt at writing out the Booker T promo, just saying: "Booker T gets interviewed on how he was DQd last week with Mr. Kennedy, Says he looks for Revenge soon for not winning last weeks match." doesn't really let us no much about Booker T's character in this BTB and doesn't really give us much of an insight on the storyline.

MVP v Mike Knox seems like your standard smaller wrestler is getting dominated then makes a late comeback for the win. A few grammatical errors here that kind of screwed up the flow of the match.

The backstage promo with Kane was set up well and the way Austin came in and accepted was good but I think some of the things Kane said he wouldn't say in real life like claiming to be one of the best wrestlers in the world.

Rey v Kennedy appeared to be a pretty exciting match but again if you read through it some of it doesn't really make sense. Booker T interfering in the end was a good way to end the match and follows up Booker T's earlier promo well.

Ric Flair v Big Show was well written in terms of each wrestlers mannerisms but again their where a few things that if written better would have increased the quality of the match. Also Big Show winning with an elbow seems pretty strange.

The backstage promo with MVP and Theodore Long was pretty good and once again Long was written well and seemed in character. Not much to say about this, it served it's purpose.

Kane v Austin was a bit of a strange match on account of Kane attempted a cross body which I don't think he could pull off in real life, apart from that it was pretty well written. The backstage promo with Kennedy after the match didn't seem write because Kennedy lost his match against Rey cleanly he wasn't screwed by Booker T.

The Big Show v Undertaker was pretty good match and was given plenty of time but why was Big Show fighting two matches in one night, as far as I can see there is no description or back story to that.

Overall the show was decent but you need to work on your grammar and sentence structure, the show even though it was written in recap also seemed a bit short. Hope this helps.

I will now start writing out my promos, and I think all the feedback is totally of the hook. I really like constructed Criticism. I really hope that Raw can be as good as can be now that there is 1 week till the RR!

Raw Preview

Triple H has ruined the #1 Contender for the WWE Title and has assaulted Michaels, Edge and Umaga, He has also ruined the WWE Champions chances of Retaining his beloved belt at the Royal Rumble! Vince McMahon is not happy at what the cerebral assasin has been hitting up, He has big intensions for Triple H on RAW this week, and it won't be pleasent for Triple H. So how will this turn out? How will Triple H react?

On Raw it will be the official contract signing for The WWE Title at the Royal Rumble, Shawn Michaels vs. Edge. This may be the biggest contract signing in the history of the show!

Also tonight Umaga has a complaint, Cody Rhodes faces Paul London and The Fighting Irishman FINLAY! will be in action!
