because at the moment with school and things i only have time to do Raw and i do not have Smackdown running and therefore i am forced to having about 8 matches on each Raw is this a turn off???

How are you forced? Why not just write RAW as you normally would and in brief sentences, mention what happened with Smackdown? That'd be a lot easier, IMO.

Yeah exactly just write raw and maybe a brief SD recap. To have 8 matches on raw is unrealistic dude.

Hi. I'm new to the forums and I'm a big WWE & WCW fan. I've started reading some of the btbs around here and i must say everyone has put in fantastic work for their btbs. I started a WCW btb on another forum which started from WCW 99 and i went all the way up to 2001. I'm thinking of continuing it off here, so i will post a big backstory for what's been going on since 99- up to May 2001. In my btb, WCW is still going strong in the ratings, WWF is also doing well. ECW was finished and WCW & The WWF end up getting some ECW stars. I will start it up soon so i hope you all enjoy this. I'm going to start this off from May 2001.

First let me say welcome to the boards. Sounds like you got a pretty interesting btb going & i'll definately be following when you get it up but someone correct me if i'm wrong but wouldn't this belong in the advertisisement thread?

As others have said just do RAW because over-loading your card with matches is a turn off. I'd suggest coming up with a way to draft the superstars you want to keep from SmackDown! & then just do one brand shows & PPV's til your time is freed up a lil more.

Now my question, in your opinion who is more over Rey Mysterio or Jeff Hardy? I only have one main event & one midcard spot left on my roster & i'm not sure who to put where.

i just watched a Raw from late 2000 and it had seven matches so i do not see what is wrong since i am not booking the current era. Either way probably will start doing Smackdown notes i was just saying it really is not that unrealistic if one or two of the matches on my show are squash matches

'Sup people. I'm new to the forums. I know some member's on here such as WCW Rules, and a few others. I just finished getting up my ECW BTB. I have done that before, and am returning to it. Hopefully, I go the distance, and then some here. The BTB section on this site is MUCH different from the other one I know of. I hope I can contribute to the section, but anyways.

I'd go along with the bandwagon, and say two hours, and about twenty minutes. Depends what matches you are having, and how big the PPV would be. I mean compare The Great American Bash to Wrestlemania. 'Mania would have about thirty minutes on TGAB would it not?

Eight matches on RAW is out there. I'd say that two of them would have to be quick interference, and/or not go on. Unless the RAW would be three hours, I doubt this would be played right. It doesn't hurt to keep to matches off the card. Just use them in the next show, or PPV. Or lets say you had a John Cena match that would extend a feud with Randy Orton. Instead of having a Cena match with Orton interfering, you would just have Cena cut a promo where Orton interferes. It gets the same point across doesn't it?
