^^Thanks for your replies, Nige and sc2004. I'm going to give a little bit of a thread update. I've been busy. I just started on Raw today, so don't expect it to be up till the middle of the week/end of the week. After Unforgiven (which will be in recap), I'm going to take a little bit of a different approach to the build up to No Mercy. I'm going to write Raw and Smackdown, in small recap form. Then with No Mercy, the event will be in recap. The only Pay-Per-Views that i plan to write in full are the big four-Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and Summerslam. I'm not sure if i'm going to keep writing quick results for FCW, or start writing the show out in recap. Again, look out for Raw in the mid week/end of the week!

RAW COMMENTS
BY SC2004

- It’s always hard to judge a booker when they write in a recap form as it’s a lot easier to get a promo right when you only have to write a few lines and not the whole promo out in full. I really liked what Punk had to say and he’s right in saying he wants respect. Not sure Rey was the most logical person to bring out here, but it worked on some levels. The Fatal 4 way main event should be great and it’s clever booking.

- A standard women’s match to get the wrestling portion of the show up and running. It’s obvious that Mickie will win here, but it’s the logical choice. Nice tease backstage with Grisham and Adamle.

- I love the Haas gimmick, so I’m glad you’re keeping it going. I’d be impressed if you could come up with something as funny as the Mr Perfect sketch. Glad Dreamer picked up a win in his first Raw match. The tag team match should be standard TV fair.

- I’m not familiar with FCW! Not getting why Adamle would sign Jericho and Michaels for Raw and not Unforgiven. As for the Cade match, that’s good booking on you behalf. The Santino gimmick is funny and I like the Honk-a-meter but maybe you should of tried to be different.

- Nice win for Santino. Glamarella is one of my favourite gimmicks on Raw at the moment and is comedy gold, so it’s good to see you run with that. The tag team match that followed was great even though the outcome was predictable.

- The Cena chair shot incident backstage confused the hell out of me. Why would he be chasing Noble and why would he need to hit Adamle with a chair? I didn’t think the Mark Henry, Atlas in ring segment worked very well as it didn’t achieve anything.

- Great match between Lance Cade and Shawn Michaels. The match next week should be great. It is beyond me as to why Cena isn’t in the number 1 contenders match to begin with?

- I liked the fact you gave Rey the rub here on his return and a programme between Rey and CM Punk should be very different and that’s a great thing. Still not understanding why Cena has gone crazy, guess I’m going to have to wait until next week to find out!

OVERALL: A nice show. Solid and entertaining. Very similar to the current WWE product, which is understandable and I’m sure you’ll make it your own over the next couple of shows.

Chris Jericho vs Shawn Michaels

Rey Mysterio vs Kane

John Cena Speaks Out

CM Punk’s music hits, and the World Heavyweight Champion comes out to a pop. He climbs into the ring, before grabbing a microphone. He talks about Rey Mysterio, and that he has a list of accomplishments throughout his career. That Mysterio is a former World Heavyweight Champion himself. That he is a multiple time Tag Team Champion, a multiple time Cruiserweight Champion, 2006 Royal Rumble Winner. CM Punk says that Mysterio is one of the best in the business. But there’s one thing that signals you are the greatest in the business. And right now, Rey Mysterio doesn’t have it. I do. The World Heavyweight Championship. CM Punk then goes on that he can’t wait till Unforgiven. Punk says that he will beat Rey Mysterio and retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Rey Mysterio’s music hits and he comes out to a pop. He gets in the ring and grabs a microphone. Mysterio says he has other plans. And his plans include him winning the World Heavyweight Championship. Punk goes to say something, but the huge fire pyro hits, and Kane’s music hits. Punk slides out of the ring as ‘The Big Red Machine’ Kane makes his way to the ring.

Match #1
Rey Mysterio vs Kane

Were about eight minutes into this match. Kane is on the ground, and Mysterio is climbing up to the top rope. Mysterio leaps off looking for a splash, but Kane moves out of the way just at the last second. Kane takes a breather for a quick second, before helping Mysterio back up to his feet. Kane whips Mysterio off the ropes, and then lands a sidewalk slam. Kane covers, but only manages to get a two count. Kane gets up, looking a little bit frustrated, before helping Mysterio up to his feet again, only to hit him with a huge uppercut that sends Mysterio down to the mat. Kane smiles and signals for the chokeslam. Mysterio slowly gets up and turns around right into Kane, who grabs Mysterio’s throat, but when Kane lifts Rey up in the air, Mysterio gets loose and comes behind Kane. Mysterio drop kick Kane in the knee, and Kane goes down to one knee. Mysterio comes off the ropes and dropkicks Kane in the head. Mysterio jumps onto the cover, but only gets a two count. Kane gets up, only to get a drop toe hold into the ropes! Mysterio comes off the ropes and hits a 619! Mysterio waits for Kane to get up on the ring apron. Kane gets up, and Mysterio jumps onto the top rope, then leaps off hitting a crossbody on Kane! Mysterio covers for the three!

Todd Grisham is backstage with his guest at the time, who will face Shawn Michaels in the main event, Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho is accompanied by Lance Cade. Chris Jericho receives some heat, as he just grabs the microphone from Todd Grisham, and pushes him down to the ground. Jericho tells Grisham to stay there. Jericho says that he shouldn’t even be in this match with Shawn Michaels tonight. He shouldn’t even be in the Raw arena. And as a matter of fact, after he beats Shawn Michaels once again tonight, he’s going to leave Raw, and doesn’t know when he’ll be back. Chris Jericho and Lance Cade walk away.

The camera shows Shawn Michaels doing a few stretches backstage, when John Cena walks up to him. The two have a staredown, before Cena lifts up his hand to reveal that he still has the same steel chair that he had last week. The two still stare each other down, before Cena tells Michaels that he has something to say, and he wants Michaels to listen very closely. Cena walks away.

Smackdown Rebound
-Shows clips from Big Show vs Undertaker, and Edge coming in with the steel chair and beating both men with it.
-Edge demanding that Vickie Guerrero make him the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship.
-Vickie Guerrero announcing Jeff Hardy as the #1 Contender.
-Edge saying he could beat Hardy anywhere, anytime, and the match being made for the #1 Contenders shot. Jeff Hardy vs Edge right there right now.
-Edge grabbing the ropes while having Hardy rolled up for the pinfall attempt, and Edge winning the match.
-Edge celebrating up the ramp with Jeff Hardy in the ring, looking quite heartbroken.

Match #2
Mickie James | Kelly Kelly | Candice Michelle | vs | Beth Phoenix | Katie Lea | Jillian

The team of Beth Phoenix, Katie Lea, and Jillian managed to control most of the match, with Mickie, Kelly, and Candice only controlling a few minutes after the opening bell. Candice Michelle is currently in the ring with Katie Lea. Katie has an arm bar on Michelle, and Michelle looks like she is ready to tap. Though the crowd and her teammates get behind her, and manage to cheer her up to her feet. Michelle fights out of the armbar with some right hands, and knocks Katie off her feet, which gives Michelle the time to make the tag to Mickie James! Mickie James gets in the ring and immediately takes out Katie Lea with a clothesline! Mickie runs over to the corner where Katie’s team is at, and hits Jillian with a right that makes her go off the ring apron, and hits Phoenix with a right hand. Phoenix doesn’t go off the ring apron though. Mickie turns around, but Katie is back up at this time and grabs Mickie and takes her back to her corner. She tags in Phoenix who gets in the ring, and starts hitting Mickie with some right hands. Phoenix whips Mickie off the ropes, but Mickie slides in between Phoenix’s legs, comes up behind her, and kicks her in the back. Phoenix turns around and runs at Mickie, but Mickie drops down and manages to roll Phoenix up, and gets the three count!

The divas celebrate, but not for long, as John Cena’s music hits. He comes out to a mixed reaction, with the crowd not really knowing what to think at this point. Cena still has the steel chair in his hand. He gets into the ring and grabs a microphone. He sits the steel chair up in a sitting position and sits in it. Cena says “everyone can blame Mike Adamle. Blame Adamle for not putting him in the #1 contenders match last week, which he should have been in easily. Because of Mike Adamle, he has made a part of Cena come out that has not come out in a long time. The Animal of John Cena.” Cena says “that everyone on the raw roster needs to be scared. Last week, he made a big path of destruction. And he plans on continuing that path for quite some time.” There is a pause, before Shawn Michaels’s music hits. Michaels comes out to a big pop, and makes his way down to the ring before getting a microphone. John Cena gets out of the chair and folds it back up. Shawn Michaels looks down from the chair then up to Cena. Michaels says “he knows Cena. He has seen and felt some of the destruction that the animal inside of Cena can cause.” Cena interrupts him and says “You have never felt the real animal inside me. Only once or twice have I let it poke out, but I never let it out. But now, he feels like he can do anything. Cena then says the real reason he wanted Shawn Michaels to listen, was because of what he’s about to say.” Cena says “I want to unleash my monster fully for the first time in a match. So that’s why I am challenging you, the ‘heartbreak kid’ Shawn Michaels to a match.” Shawn Michaels smiles a little bit, before saying “anytime, anyplace, anywhere.” The crowd pops, before Cena says “Unforgiven.” Cena drops the microphone and walks out of the ring, with the steel chair in his hand, as Michaels stays in the ring for a little while, before exiting himself.

{Commercials}

Camera goes backstage to the Intercontinental Champion, Santino Marella, and Beth Phoenix, furious after her loss. Santino Marella is telling her to calm down. He tells her he has to go do something real fast. He walks away from Phoenix, and appears at a door, Mike Adamle’s door. He walks in and says “you know what Mike Adamle?’ Without knocking to see that JBL and Mike Adamle are already having an argument. JBL turns to Santino and asks why he interrupted? Why he interrupted JBL trying to get a shot at the World Title. Trying to become the #1 contender. Santino looks at JBL and starts to say something, but he is interrupted by Batista, who walks into the office. Batista looks at JBL and Marella, before telling Mike Adamle that he wants to a shot at the World Title. JBL says that he wants a shot at the World Title, and he better get it. Santino steps in and says that he wants a shot at the world title. The two stare him down, before Santino starts to act like the tough guy, and talks crap on both men. All three get into a small argument, before Mike Adamle steps in. He tells them that they all can’t have the title shot. Santino Marella says that he should get a World Title Shot over them two easily. Mike Adamle then says he has an idea for a match tonight. Santino Marella taking on both JBL and Batista in a handicap match. Santino looks scared to death. Adamle continues and says that if Santino wins this match (at this time, Batista chuckles, while JBL smiles) then he gets a future World Title Match. But if Batista and JBL win, then at Unforgiven, JBL will take on Batista, and the winner gets a future World Title Shot. Santino trash talks a little more by telling JBL and Batista that they better be scared. The two stare down Marella, before Marella runs (actually runs) out of the office fast. JBL and Batista stare each other down before the camera cuts to the ring.

Match #3
Jamie Noble vs Kofi Kingston

Jamie Noble was actually putting up a fight against Kofi Kingston, trying to win the match. But Kofi’s athletic ability was just a little too much for the pit bull to handle. At about the four minute mark, Jamie Noble was on the ground. Kofi came off the ropes, did a little shimmy, before jumping up into the air and landing a double leg drop. Kofi goes for the quick cover, but Jamie manages to get the should up at two and a half. Kofi gets up, and waits for Noble to get up to his feet. Noble finally gets up, but is immediately put back down on the ground, as Kofi Kingston hits the Trouble in Paradise! Kofi covers for the three, and the win.

Match #4-Handicap Match
JBL and Batista vs Santino Marella

Santino Marella obviously didn’t want to be in this match, not only it be a handicap match, but also against two of the biggest stars in the WWE today. About three minutes into the match, Batista is in the ring with Santino, and whips him into the corner. JBL has not been into the match yet, and didn’t show any interest in being in the match. Tista’ runs at Marella and drives his shoulder into Santino’s gut. Batista does it a few more times, before letting Marella fall down to the ground. Batista asks JBL if he wants to be tagged in, but JBL jumps off the ring apron. Batista shakes his head, then waits for Marella to get up. The IC champ gets up to his feet, and turns around right into Batista, who lands a huge spinebuster! Batista gets up, all fired up, and he shakes the ropes. Thumbs up, Thumbs Down! Batista helps Santino up to his feet, then hits a huge Batista Bomb! Batista covers for the win! Batista jumps up to his feet, as his music plays. Right as he turns around, JBL LEVELS HIM WITH A HUGE CLOTHESLINE! The crowd boos as JBL stands over Batista, raising up his arm.

Todd Grisham is once again backstage. He introduces his guest at this time, ‘the heartbreak kid’ Shawn Michaels! Grisham asks how Michaels feels about his match tonight. Michaels tells Grisham that he actually can’t wait. He’s been wanting to get his hands on Chris Jericho ever since the Great American Bash. And tonight, he finally gets to do it. Shawn Michaels assures Chris Jericho that tonight, after there match, that it will all be over. Grisham then asks him his thoughts on his whole situation with John Cena. Shawn Michaels says they’ve known each other for a few years now…Haven’t ever really liked each other. They’ve fought a few times, but he’s never had to fight Cena like this. He goes on by saying Cena’s been in a different mindset lately, and he doesn’t know what to think of it. But come Unforgiven, he will find out what John Cena’s like in this new mindset. Michaels smiles before saying he can’t wait, then walking away.

Camera pans away to Mike Adamle’s office. He announces that it’s official. Two more matches have been added to the Unforgiven card. One of them being ‘The Animal’ Batista battling it out with John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield, where the winner will face the World Champion at No Mercy for the World Title! He then announces another match, which will be John Cena vs Shawn Michaels. He continues by saying speaking of Shawn’s match, which is up next, he wants to add a little bit of spice to it. And that’s why the match is now…A No Disqualification Match! Camera cuts out.

{Commercials}

Main Event-No Disqualification Match
Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho

Mike Adamle making this match a No DQ match didn’t seem to faze either men, and they seemed to like it. Michaels had set up a table outside of the ring, but it hasn’t been used yet. We’re about seven minutes into this match, and weapons are scattered out all over the ring, and outside the ring. There are two steel chairs in the ring, trash cans, a baseball bat, a few trash can lids, and other numerous items on the outside of the ring. Chris Jericho is currently in control of the match, as he has a trash can in his hand. Shawn Michaels is just getting up to his feet. Michaels gets up, and Jericho rams the trash can over Shawn Michaels head, to where Michaels upper body is in the trash can. Jericho then grabs a steel chair and hits the trash can numerous times! Shawn Michaels falls to the mat. Jericho throws the steel chair down, then takes the trash can off of Michaels, and covers him, but is only able to get a two count, as somehow, Michaels kicked out. Jericho gets up to his feet looking a little bit frustrated, as he rolls out of the ring. He looks under the ring for a weapon (As if there wasn’t already enough) and pulls out yet another table. He slides it into the ring and sets it up toward the ropes by the second table outside of the ring. He goes to help Shawn up to his feet, but Michaels was playing possum, and he hits the SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Jericho staggers back and falls onto the table in the ring. Michaels gets up and climbs up to the top rope, and looks to splash Michaels right threw the table, but before he can do anything, JOHN CENA steps up onto the ring apron and pushes Michaels off the top rope to the outside, and Michaels goes through the table on the outside! John Cena gets off the ring apron, and jumps the barricade and runs through the crowd, apparently leaving the arena. Chris Jericho staggers out of the ring, and manages get Shawn Michaels back up to his feet, and roll him back into the ring. Chris Jericho covers, but once again Shawn Michaels manages to get the shoulder up at two and a half. Chris Jericho gets up, angry that he can’t put Michaels away. Jericho grabs the baseball bat, and waits for Michaels to get up. Michaels eventually gets up to his feet, and Jericho charges at him, but Michaels, out of nowhere hits the SWEET CHIN MUSIC into the baseball bat, which goes into Jericho’s face, and when it does, it breaks! Shawn Michaels falls on top of Chris Jericho, as the referee counts the three. Shawn Michaels, with some help from the ropes, gets up to his feet, and the ref raises his hand.

Raw looks awesome Matt, especially the main event. I won't be able to get a review up, unfortunately, as I'm trying to finish Legend's WrestleMania, but you can definitely expect an Unforgiven review.

I'll keep a watch out for SmackDown though, and hopefully I'll be done Legend's review by then

As you can probably tell by the way this BTB has been going for over a month, and 3 shows have been posted. I’ve been busy. Way busier than I usually am. I’m not sure if I can even keep up with a BTB right now, but I really want to. I have a few options that I want to try out, and I want you guys to see them.

A.) Monthly PPV Recaps: Kind of like Forever Delayed did, and Nature Boy as well. This seems like the most logical answer to my problems right now.

B.) Just keep going on with writing weekly shows: This isn’t what I want to do. It takes me forever to write shows right now.

C.) Just quit this BTB all together and come back when I have the time. This also seems like a choice to me at this time. I haven’t even worked on any of my shows in about 4-5 days, since I’ve been so busy.

Options A and C are the ones that are the ones that will probably happen. I’m not sure if I want to continue with Monthly PPV recaps, or just quit all together. I’ll think it over and have my answer by tomorrow or Friday. You may post what option you would like me to do if you like, but it probably won’t change what I’m going to do.

Dude, I hope you keep the BTB going. I know its hard work, but I really enjoyed the last edition of raw which I reviewed and I thick you have potential. Everyone who has booked on a regular basis understands that every now and again shit happens. Just post when u can, don't cancel the thread. Keep going at your pace, when you have time to write, write, when you don't, well then don't. Just do what you can. don't quit though, nobody likes a quitter. lol

Ok, at this time, it looks like i'll be doing monthly PPV recaps, Option A. Some people might not agree with this option, but right now i'm just really busy. A Unforgiven preview/card will be posted sometime today/tomorrow. As for Unforgiven-It's close to being complete. I've been working on it on and off for a while now, and i have about three more matches to write on it. So Unforgiven should be up by the end of the week.
