Monday Night Raw
The show opens with the opening video playing, the fire works firing, the music pumping and the fans cheering. We go to our announce team Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler.
Cole
Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Monday Night Raw! I’m Michael Cole and I’m here with my broadcast partner, the legendary, Jerry “The King” Lawler!
King
Thanks Cole. We have a lot to happen tonight. But lets take a look at what happened last night at Unforgiven.
** A video starts to play of the Unforgiven highlights**
**We are shown Chris Jericho taking a vicious beating from Shawn Michaels in their Unsanctioned match**
**We are then shown CM Punk being punted in the head and Mike Adamle announcing that he cant compete and there will be a replacement**
**We are shown Chris Jericho coming out last in the World Title Scramble and winning the world title**
**The screen fades back to King and Cole with a shot of Jericho holding the world title high above his head**
King
As you just saw, Chris Jericho is out new world champion. I don’t like how he did it but no one can say that he doesn’t deserve it.
Cole
I can! Jericho punched a women, Jericho tried to end a legends career and that’s just this month! No doubt he worked hard for it but he also did terrible things to get to it!
King
Well you might not be the only one to think that because here comes the man that had the world title taken from his behind his back last night, Batista.
**I Walk Alone**
Batista comes threw the curtain looking pretty pissed. He is wearing some expensive sunglasses and a black suit. He gets in the ring and gets a microphone from one of the crew members.
Batista
Last night I was so close to winning the world heavyweight title again. The title that I have been chasing for over a year. And I have been getting screwed out of it for over a year. Last night wasn’t any different. Last night I had the world title in my clutches and I was so close that I could smell the gold. But Chris Jericho, that weasel, snuck in the back door and stole it from me.
Major heat from the live crowd is given to Jericho, even though he isn’t on stage.
Batista
Jericho, you might have the world title around your waist but a real champion would have came face to face with me and pinned someone that wasn’t knocked out when he get in the ring. A real champion, no a real man! Would have stepped up and he would have fought to get the world title, like I have been doing for a year straight! And for you to do absolutely nothing in that match and still win, is a disgrace!
**Break The Walls Down**
Jericho comes out with a black suit also. He has the world title draped over his shoulder. Lance Cade follows behind The Champ, who is clearly in pain as he hobbles down to the ring. Jericho yells at a Crew Member to get him a mic.
Jericho
Batista, you can come out here and say that you should be world champion and that I shouldn’t until your blue in the face, but it isn’t going to chance the fact that I am world champion! And if your trying to goad me into a match, that isn’t going to work either because I feel no shame for the way I won the world title. Now you may say that I didn’t work hard to get it, but that is wrong and you know it. I worked my ass off against Shawn Michaels the same night and then I came out and beat four of Raw’s best.
Batista
No you didn’t, you cheated four of Raw’s best!
Jericho
Well, like I said before, I don’t care what you think. As I was saying, whether you like it or not, I am the world heavyweight champion and there is nothing you can do about that.
**The Adamle**
Raw General Manager, Mike Adamle stands at the top of the ramp with a mic in hand. He is also wearing a black suit (I feel like I’m getting repetitive lol).
Adamle
Jericho you are right, there is nothing anyone can do about you being champion….tonight but I see where Batista is coming from. So Batista I will give you a world title match for No Mercy, one on one with Chris Jericho. As for tonight, I can see that you aren’t fit to compete Jericho so you have the night off. But Batista on the other hand, you will go one on one in the main event against Chris Jericho’s protégé, Lance Cade!
Adamle’s music hits again as he walks behind the curtain.
King
What a opportunity for young Lance Cade later tonight! He is going one on one with the number one contender for the world title, Batista!
Cole
A win against the number one contender could get Lance Cade a title shot in his near future.
King
We have to take a break but we will be back with more Raw action.
**Commercial Break**
Match 1
Paul Burchill w/Katie Lea vs. Kofi Kingston
**Generator A**
Paul Burchill along with his sister, Katie Lea Burchill come threw the curtain and make their way to the ring. Burchill is wearing a toque and his wrestling attire.
Lillian
The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, accompanied by Katie Lea Burchill, Paul Burchill!
King
Paul looks to have something to prove here tonight. He hasn’t had the best of luck lately.
Cole
Burchill is a impressive young athlete but his anger sometimes gets the better of him and it has cost him a match on more then one occasion.
**S.O.S**
Kofi Kingston jumps threw the curtain very enthusiastically. He does the “Boom, Boom, Boom” taunt as the fireworks go off behind him
Lillian
And his opponent, Kofi Kingston!
Cole
One man that never seems to be angry is the very laid back, Kofi Kingston.
King
But for those of you at home that haven’t seen this young man compete before, don’t mistaken being laid back for being lazy. Kofi is very skilful and very talented.
End: The match has gone for about a good five minutes. Burchill has controlled most of the match by working on Kofi’s back. Kofi has got a few bursts of energy throughout the match but Paul always knocks him back down. We join the match with Paul in control with Kofi in the corner. Paul hits some big right elbows to the side of Kofi’s head. Kofi gets spaghetti legs and falls into the corner in a sitting position. Paul walks to the opposite corner and taunts the fans before charging Kofi and looking for a big knee to his head but Kofi nips up at the last second. Paul’s knee goes right into the bottom turnbuckle. Paul limps around the ring as Kofi gets up. Kofi delivers a big kick to the back of Paul’s hurt knee. Paul falls down to one knee. Kofi connects with a enzuguri to the side of Paul’s head, taking him down. Kofi quickly goes for the cover.

Paul kicks out. Kofi quickly gets up and pulls Paul up with him. Paul rakes Kofi’s eyes and then runs off the ropes. Kofi reacts quickly as he flips Paul with a power slam. Kofi goes off the ropes and then nails Paul with the seated leg drop to his chest. Paul rolls around in pain, trying to get a breath. Kofi waits for Paul to get up to his feet so that he can hit the Trouble In Paradise. Paul gets up and turns around but Kofi gets distracted by Katie Lea who is on the apron and is accidentally holding his skirt up just a little. Kofi turns around after Katie jumps off the apron and Paul nails him with a devastating C-4! Paul goes for the cover.

Here is your winner by pinfall, Paul Burchill!
Paul and Katie start to celebrate by the announce tables.
King
Its really sad that the only way that Burchill can win is by having his sister cheat for him. What a loser!
Burchill’s smile turns to a huge frown as he turns around and looks at the announcers.
Cole
I think he heard you.
Burchill grabs Cole by the throat and pushes him to the ground and starts yelling at him “What did you say!?! What did you say!?!?!” Cole tells Burchill that it was King and not him who said it. Burchill gets up and kicks King out of his chair. King tries to get up and defend himself but Burchill runs at him and knees him in the head. Burchill takes King into the ring and tells his sister to grab a chair, as she does. She slides it into the ring as Burchill mounts himself on King and pounds away on the now bloody legend. Burchill turns King over so that his face is on the chair. He grabs both of King’s arms and puts one of his feet on the back of King’s head and nails his face into the steel chair with the curb-stomp. Some EMT’s run to the ring to help King, along with some refs to get Burchill away. But Burchill is done as him and Katie Lea walk up the ramp.
Cole
I cant believe that just happened. Burchill just pounded King into a bloody pulp because of one remark about how he won his match. Burchill is a disturbed young man.
We have some action backstage but I assure you that I will keep everyone updated on King’s condition.
**Backstage**
Former world champion, CM Punk is backstage with a mic in hand.
Punk
I’m sure all of you saw what happened to me last night but for those of you that didn’t I’ll tell yah. I got punted in the head by a jealous and petty Randy Orton, just because someone that he KNEW he couldn’t beat for the title was holding it, he took it off my the only way he could, by attacking me from behind with friends. Now losing my title is one thing but losing it without even defending it? Without even being in the match? I wont stand for it. I’m sure a lot of you are thinking that I am going to complain and Batista getting a world title match and not me and you all think that I am going to ask to get added to the match, but that isn’t the case. I know that as long as Randy Orton is around, he will not allow me to win the world title. So before I come for the world title, I’m coming for Randy Orton. And once Randy is out of the way, your next Jericho. But the time for words is over Randy, now? Now is time for action.
We return to the announcers booth where Michael Cole has been joined by Jim Ross.
Cole
Due to what happened to Jerry Lawler, he wont be back to the announce table tonight so filling in for him is Good Ol’ JR, Jim Ross.
Ross
Its good to be here, although I would rather be here on better conditions.
Cole
Anyway, me and Ross will be back, after this break.
**Commercial Break**
Match 2
Jamie Noble w/Layla vs. William Regal
**Pit-bull**
Jamie Noble comes threw the curtain, pulling Layla close behind him. Noble charges for the ring, looking to impress Layla.
Lillian
The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first accompanied by Layla, Jamie Noble!
Ross
Noble has something to prove here tonight. His lady friend Layla says that she doesn’t date losers. Last week Noble beat Regal and now Layla is coming to the ring with Noble.
Cole
Just imagine what Noble will get if he wins for the second week in a row.
**King**
William Regal makes his way to the ring with his robe on. Regal looks pretty mad about losing to Noble last week and looks to prove himself this week.
Lillian
And his opponent, he is the 2008 King Of The Ring, William Regal!
Cole
Noble isn’t the only one with something to prove. It seems as though Regal has something to prove also.
Ross
That’s right. Regal is out to prove that he can still fight with the best of the best and the toughest of the toughest. He can do that here tonight by beating and rough and tough Jamie Noble.
End: This match wasn’t given very much time as it has only gone for about three minutes so far. Regal has controlled the entire match. It seems like it is going to be a long squash match. Regal has Noble on the ground as he pounds away at his head. Regal quickly gets up and pulls Noble by his hair, getting him up as well. Regal whips Noble into a corner and then quickly charges at him and hits him with a big clothesline. Noble stumbles across the ring into the opposite corner. Regal charges at him again and goes for another clothesline but Noble ducks it and Regal goes into the turnbuckle. Noble quickly rolls Regal up.

Regal kicks out. Regal gets up pretty fast and looks pissed. Noble looks a little scared but looks over at Layla and then puffs up. Regal charges at Noble but Noble crawls threw his legs. Noble gets on Regal’s back and locks in the Dragon Sleeper with the Body Scissors. Regal walks around for a second before falling to one knee and then both and then to his hands and knees and then to his stomach. Regal looks to be out cold. The referee lifts arm up once and it drops. A second time and it drops. The referee lifts Regal’s arm up a third time and it drops again.
Lillian
Here is your winner by Knockout, Jamie Noble!
Layla quickly gets in the ring and starts to celebrate with Noble. Noble grabs a mic.
Noble
Layla I know you said that you don’t date losers but I won two weeks in a row and I think that makes me a winner. So Layla will you go out with me?
Layla
Yes!
Noble drops to his knees and yells out “Yes!” Like he just won the world heavyweight title in the main event of Wrestlemania in his hometown. Not wanting to look silly though, Noble gets up and escorts Layla to the back.
Cole
Well I guess things are going Noble’s way tonight. He gets the win and the girl.
Ross
As we said before the match, Noble has something to prove and in that match he proved it. He might not be the strongest or the biggest but when times were tough he didn’t back down and he thought smart to get the win.
Cole
That was a impressive win. But we have someone backstage that might not be as impressed as me.
**Backstage**
Randy Orton is backstage. He has a mic in hand. He is out of the sling and looks healthy.
Randy
I heard what you said earlier tonight Punk. You say that its time for action? Is that supposed to scare me? Your nothing Punk! You’re a flash in the pan! Your Cinderella after the ball! Its over Punk. You say that you are coming for me and then Jericho? Hell you would be lucky to get passed me! I took you out with one arm! ONE ARM PUNK! Just imagine what I will do to you with two. I don’t take you seriously, your not a threat to me and your not a threat to the world title. But if you think that you can beat me, try it. Amuse me. Because I was cleared to compete this morning. So if you want to “Take action” then I will take you on, one on one, at No Mercy. And Punk. If you think me punting you in the head was bad, If you think that me taking the world title from you was bad, you haven’t seen anything yet.
Randy walks off screen and is met by Priceless and Manu. They all walk away together.
Cole
Punk wants Orton and now it seems that Orton wants Punk.
JR
It seems as though we are going to see Punk vs. Orton at No Mercy. That should be one hell of a match.
Cole
We have to take a break but we will be back with more Monday Night Raw.

Match 3
Beth Phoenix w/Santino Marella vs. Kelly Kelly
**Glamazon**
Beth Phoenix comes threw the curtain with the Women’s title in hand and Santino Marella just behind her with the Intercontinental Title around his waist.
Lillian
The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, accompanied by Santino Marella, she is the women’s champion, Beth Phoenix!
JR
The Intercontinental and Women’s champions, Glamerella as they call themselves seem to be the power couple of the WWE Today.
Cole
You cant deny that they are good. Maybe some day soon we will be able to compare them to the likes of Edge and Lita and Triple H and Stephanie McMahon as the biggest power couples in WWE History.
**Holla**
Kelly Kelly comes to the ring looking extra sexy tonight. The crowd is giving her some cheers.
Lillian
And her opponent, Kelly Kelly!
Cole
Kelly might have her hands full here tonight against Beth Phoenix.
JR
Not only Beth, but she also has to keep a eye on Santino.
End: Its been a squash, plain and simple. It was over before it started. When we join the match, 10 seconds in, Beth has Kelly on the ground. Beth picks Kelly up by her hair and throws her into a corner. Beth climbs to the second rope and starts to pound some big rights into the pretty face of Kelly. Kelly slips down and tries to power bomb Beth but Beth holds onto the ropes and then punches Kelly in the head. Beth picks Kelly up and puts her in a bear hug. Beth carries her around for a few seconds until Kelly seems to be out cold but Beth isn’t quite done yet. Beth picks Kelly up, gets in behind her, lifts her up and puts her down with the Glam Slam. Beth goes for the cover.

Santino gets in the ring and gives Beth a little peck and goes to get out of the ring but Beth grabs Santino, pulls him back and gives him some tongue. After Beth has gotten what she wants she goes and gets a mic from one of the men at ringside.
Beth
I’m sure a lot of your people are wondering why I did what I did to Michelle McCool after her match at Unforgiven and its really simple. You see, I am a two time women’s champion. The first reign the spotlight was on me. I was the center of attention and because I was champion I was considered the best women in WWE. But my second reign was a little different. The spotlight wasn’t always on me, I wasn’t the center of attention and I wasn’t considered the best women in WWE, but rather, one of the best. Does anyone know why? Because there is a second women’s title and a second women’s division and more importantly a second women’s champion, Michelle McCool.
**The crowd cheers at the sound of Michelle’s name**
Beth
Yah cheer her. That’s what I mean. Now I have to share the spotlight and the attention with her. But if I take her out and her Diva’s title, I will be the best again.
**Not Enough For Me**
Michelle McCool comes to the ring with the Diva’s title around her waist. Michelle has a mic in hand.
Michelle
You think that by attacking me after my match you proved that you are the best?
Beth
I don’t think I did, I KNOW I did!
Michelle
I had just finished a match, but I didn’t come out here to complain. I came out here to make a point. You put your hands on me and you caught me off guard and isn’t going to happen again. Now let me show you why I am Diva’s champion.
Michelle jumps at Beth and starts pounding on her. Santino grabs Michelle and pulls her off Beth. Michelle tries to fight away from Santino but Santino is to strong for Michelle. Beth punches Michelle right in her exposed gut (The Diva’s title fell off). As Santino holds Michelle, Beth takes some free shots. Beth takes another shot to the gut of Michelle. She then takes a shot at her face and leans into it so much that she falls down. Santino lets go of Michelle and Michelle falls to the ground. Beth gets up and grabs the women’s title and the Diva’s title and lifts them both into the air, one in each hand.
Cole
We got a rare treat by seeing Michelle here on Raw but it turned into a mugging.
JR
That’s two nights in a row that Raw’s women’s champion has beaten down Smackdown’s Diva’s champion. It will be interesting to see what Smackdown General Manager, Vickie Guerrero has to say about that.
Cole
We will see what Vickie has to say on Friday but as for now, lets see what Cryme Tyme has to say.
**Backstage**
Cryme Tyme is backstage.
JTG

Shad
Its your boys, Shad and JTG, Cryme Tyme. Now some of you may have noticed that we don’t have the world tag titles around our waists.
JTG
Usually Cryme Tyme are the one’s doing the jackin’ but at Unforgiven we got straight jacked.
Shad
We want another shot at the titles, to make a long story short.
Priceless walks into the picture.
Ted
What makes you two think that you deserve another title shot? You got your shot and you lost so you don’t get another.
Cody
You guys are losers, just like all these people that cheer you. And losers never win and winners never lose. Me and Ted? We’re winners.
Mike Adamle walks into the picture.
Mike
What’s going on here?
Ted
Just taking out the trash that think they deserve another shot at our tag titles.
Mike
Well in all fairness, Manu did interfere last night. So in the interest of fairness, Cryme Tyme will get another shot at the tag titles, under one condition. If you two can beat a surprise team that are making their long awaited return to the WWE and to Monday Night Raw. Good luck.
Cryme Tyme look puzzled as to who it can be and a little annoyed that they have to fight for a shot at the tag titles when they think they are already theirs.
Cole
We have to take a break and then we will be back with Cryme Tyme versus a unknown team.
JR

Cryme Tyme jump threw the curtain. JTG does his dance as Big Shad walks next to him.

Cryme Tyme look ready but they are at a disadvantage not knowing who their opponents are.

**Bombshell**
THE DUDLEYS come threw the curtain. The entire crowd is on their feet. Cryme Tyme look extremely surprised as they clap a little.
Lillian
AND THEIR OPPONENTS, D-VON AND BUBBA, THE DUDLEYS!
JR
BAH GAWD IT’S THE DUDLEYS!
Cole
Wow what a signing by Mike Adamle
END: The match has been given quite a bit of time, having gone for about seven minutes already. There has been a lot of good back and forth action between the veterans, the Dudley’s and the kids, Cryme Tyme. When we join the match Bubba is in the ring with Shad. Bubba is in control of Big Shad as he has him down in his corner (Bubba’s). Bubba tags in D-Von and they both go to the center of the ring and then they both charge Shad and nail a double face wash. D-von gets Shad up and then clotheslines him back down. D-Von lifts Shad up again and goes for a suplex but Shad reverses it into a suplex of his own. Shad and D-von are both down and crawling to their corners. D-von, who is closer to his corner, tags in Bubba first. Bubba quickly grabs Shad’s leg and pulls him back. Shad fights up and nails Bubba with a huge Enzuguri before leaping to tag in JTG. JTG gets in the ring and knocks down Bubba (Who got up) with a clothesline. Bubba gets up again and gets knocked down after another clothesline. JTG knocks D-von off the apron and then tags in Shad. Shad lifts Bubba up onto his shoulders and JTG goes off and ropes and looks for the G9 but Bubba slips off of Shad’s shoulders and clotheslines JTG down. Shad goes for a clothesline on Bubba but Bubba ducks it and hits his punch combination before tagging D-von in. D-von sends Shad off the ropes and picks him up with the Flapjack and Bubba takes him down with the Cutter, thus connecting with the 3-D! D-von goes for the cover.

Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes and Manu break up the pinfall. They start to attack all four men. The referee quickly calls for the bell.
Lillian
The match has been ruled a draw.
Manu and Priceless continue on their beat down. Mike Adamle stands at the top of the ramp.
Adamle
Stop it! Stop it! Stop it! If you to think that by pulling this that you aren’t going to have to face anyone, you are both sorely mistaken. Since you don’t want to defend your titles in a normal two on two tag team match next week, you will defend the tag titles in a triple treat tag team match at No Mercy!
Priceless looks pissed.
Cole
What a match announced just now! Not only did the Dudley’s return to WWE tonight but they are getting a world tag title shot at No Mercy.
JR
What a match that will be!
**Backstage**
Jericho and Cade are backstage.
Jericho
Tonight I counting on you to weaken up Batista. After what I’ve been threw I’m in no shape to face him at No Mercy.
Cade
Yah man, don’t worry about it. I will do to him what you did to Shawn Michaels last night.
Jericho
That’s what I like to hear. And if you do anything close to him that I did to Shawn Michaels, he wont even be able to walk into No Mercy by his own will.

JR
It looks like Jericho is giving Cade a little pep talk.
Cole
Cade should take Jericho’s advice, after all, he is the world heavyweight champion.
Match 5
Rey Mysterio vs. Snitsky
**Booyaka**
Rey Mysterio jumps threw the curtain and makes his way to the ring.
Lillian
The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, Rey Mysterio!
JR
Rey Rey has a big challenge here against big Snitsky.
Cole
Yah but Rey is in the business of proving people wrong and he has been doing that all his life. He looks to prove people wrong tonight that think he cant beat a man of Snitsky’s size.
**Ogre**
Snitsky makes his way to the ring, showing his teeth along the way.
Lillian
And his opponent, Snitsky!
Cole
That’s a face only a mother could love.
JR
We already saw tonight what happened to one announcer after insulting a superstar, lets see to it that it doesn’t happen again.
END: Snitsky has controlled most of the math with his power and size. When we join the match it has been going for about five minutes and by this point, Snitsky is in control. Snitsky has Rey in a bear hug in the middle of the ring. Snitsky squeezes Rey as hard as he can and shakes him back and forth. Rey chops at his head with his forearm but Snitsky no sells it. Rey puts his arms in under Snitsky’s and drives his fists into Snitsky’s chest, forcing Snitsky to break the hold. Rey goes off the ropes and gets a big boot on his way back. Snitsky shows his teeth as he yells out. Snitsky goes off the ropes and looks for a running splash but Rey moves out of the way. Rey gets up and kicks Snitsky in the head multiple times. Rey goes off the ropes and almost gets another big boot from Snitsky but he ducks it and then hit’s a dropkick into Snitsky’s back, sending him onto the second rope. Rey goes off the opposite ropes, comes back and connects with the 619. Rey quickly goes to the top rope and then connects with a frog splash. Rey does his best to hook a leg.

I have something to say about what Kane has been saying over the last few weeks. Kane has never put his hands on me! He never attacked me and I don’t know how he got my mask but he didn’t attack me for it. Everything Kane has been saying is a lie. I don’t know why he has been saying what he has been saying but none of it is true.
**Into The Fire**
Kane walks down the ramp looking pissed. He is yelling “You should have kept your mouth shut!”
Kane gets on the mic.
Kane
You should have kept your mouth shut Rey! You shouldn’t have said anything! You should have left it alone Rey! It was a cover up Rey, a excuse so I wouldn’t have to reveal what was really in my sack the weeks before. Now you have uncovered it and you are going to regret it. I am going to do to you, what I said I already did.
Kane kicks Rey in the face with a big boot. He lifts him up and choke slams him. Kane gets out of the ring and grabs a chair but the referees and security get down there and hold Kane back while Rey gets out of there. Kane is yelling “I’m coming for you Rey! I will find you! You cant hide!”
Cole
It looks like Rey is in some big trouble.
JR
If what Kane said was a cover up, I wonder what he really had in his burlap sack.
Cole
We need to take a break and then we will be back with the main event.

Randy is backstage with Manu and Priceless.
Ted
Did you see what we did to the Dudley’s and Cryme Tyme out there?
Cody
Now was that impressive or what?
Randy
Let me tell you guys something. You are two of the most talented superstars on the entire WWE roster. But opportunities have been passing you both by because you weren’t trying. Out there? Out there you took control and you took advantage of the opportunity. So am I impressed? Yes, yes I am impressed. But that is just the start. I am going to take the three of you under my wing. What a chance for Cade here tonight. But it is also a big chance for Chris Jericho to scout out his opponent at No Mercy.

That’s right JR. And what a better person for Jericho to watch Batista face then his protégé, Lance Cade.

Cade’s new theme song, Lonely Train by Black stone Cherry hits as he comes threw the curtain with World Champ, Chris Jericho right behind him.

Cade has stepped away from the pack recently. He is changing his style, he is changing his look, he is learning from the best and look where it got him, the main event of Raw.
Cole
Not only is it the main event of Raw but he is facing the number one contender for the world title. Not many people get this chance.
END: Batista has controlled the majority of the match, which has gone for about 10 minutes. Jericho has got involved twice but the referee never caught him. When we join the match Batista is in control of the match, with Cade in a corner. Batista hits some shoulders into the gut of Cade. Cade finally puts his knee up into Batista’s head. Batista stumbles back and gets clotheslined down for his troubles. Cade does a taunt to the crowd and Batista before going to work on Batista’s back. He turns Batista over and puts his knee into his back and pulls back on his chin. The crowd starts a slow clap that builds into a thunderous applause. Batista fights up but Cade jumps on his back and puts a sleeper on him. Batista walks around for a second, trying to make Cade lose his balance but he is losing strength and falls to his knees. Cade tightens the grip on Batista head and neck as Jericho claps. Batista starts to fight up again so Cade goes to his side and applies a side headlock. Batista gets to his feet and lifts Cade up and drops him with a sidewalk slam. Batista takes a breather in a corner while Cade gets up. When Cade is up, Batista charges at him and nails a spear. Batista goes for the cover.

The referee gets distracted by Chris Jericho who is on the apron. Batista goes to knock him off but Jericho jumps down. The referee is lecturing Jericho while Cade low blow’s Batista from behind. Cade rolls Batista up.

Batista just barley kicks out. Cade looks surprised as he gets up and waits for Batista to do the same. Cade grabs Batista and goes for the Sit-Out Spinebuster but Batista elbows him in the side of the head. Batista reverses it into a Spinebuster of his own. Batista grabs the ropes and shakes them as he stomps his foot. He lifts Cade up and sets him up for the Batista Bomb. Jericho gets on the apron again and Batista comes at him again. Before Jericho can jump down, Batista grabs him and throws him into the ring. Batista sets Jericho up for the Batista Bomb but Cade attacks Batista from behind. Jericho quickly gets out of the ring. Cade clubs Batista in the back but Batista shrugs it off and knee’s Cade in the gut, sets him up and knocks him down with a Batista Bomb. Jericho looks on as Batista covers Cade.
