Re: WWE - GET IT! - SUMMER 2008

Good update, man, looking forward to the relaunching with the PPV. Good luck with writing SD! as well, all this should make for an awesome continuation of what's been going on.

Re: WWE - GET IT! - SUMMER 2008

Without a doubt, my favorite BTB! Your drama/soap opera like approach to your shows inspire me to create some of my own ideas. Very glad you're not quitting this thread, as I would have been very sad.

One moment....

...there I cleaned all the brown stuff from my nose :-p

Anyways, if you think about it...you're like the Eric Bishoff of this btb. Kyle and Bradley are Stephanie McMahon and Paul Heyman...you outlasted both guys, just like Eric Bishoff outlasted Stephani and Heyman as GM's. It's funny because he was the RAW GM and they were the SD! GM and you're the RAW writer and well...you get it, haha.

I do hope that you continue to give us updates until you start booking actively again. Also, you canceled the DRAFT, but maybe you could still shift some superstars from one show to another, to even it all out, just saying.

Good luck with this, and without a doubt...I'll be reading!

Re: WWE - GET IT! - SUMMER 2008

October 25th, Damn. Best of luck writing both shows, I really liked this threat kind of sucks you won't be writing the PPV in full but oh well you're promos are better then your matches any way. I really like this thread can't wait for No Mercy even though it won't be over month. We'll just call it a one month late birthday present for me, lol. But yeah come back soon, because with you out and Nige and Wolfy not posting shows in God knows how long the BTB section has gotten kind of boring. Again God luck with both shows I can't wait for the return

Once upon a time the Pain was brought in 2008.......It will be brought again........

Soon....

Re: WWE - GET IT! - SUMMER 2008

Pleased to see this back - well almost back. Writing both shows will inevitably slow down the thread but I can live with that. No Mercy seems to be coming along nicely too so I'll look forward to it. PPVs not being full is good, for me, at least, as full matches can be a burden to read at times. RVD and Christian being removed/delayed is probably for the best. RAW, especially, is stacked with star-power.

Re: WWE - GET IT! - SUMMER 2008

Well the good news is that this BTB is going to continue which I am so happy for becuase I love this BTB, even though I never get around reveiwing your shows.

Bad news is that Christian wont be on the roster which is some sad news tbh, and I feel for you Sean even for me going away from the BTB section and no longer being an active booker hurts inside, stupid work!

Anyways looking forward to seeing your no mercy!

Re: WWE - GET IT! - SUMMER 2008

Good to see this will continue. At least you show you're dedicated, and that's a good thing. Hope nothing else happens to hinder this thread, however, so you taking the reign for both shows will at least be consistent. Good luck on the rest of this - it'd be a shame for this to end before you can realize all your plans. Believe me, I know.

Re: WWE - GET IT! - SUMMER 2008

I thought I posted on this after your announced return... but I didn't. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it, as most have said, and it's good to see that you'll push on even after the trials you've endured with this. I said it was sad when you left for upstart BTBs like mine. Well, this is a sign of hope for us same guys.

Re: WWE - GET IT! - SUMMER 2008

[NOTE]- I've decided to post the show a few days early as I'll be busy Sunday and probably won't be online. The show is a little rough and there may be a few grammar and spelling errors, but just enjoy the show for what it is. Kyle was writing SD at the time in which this was put together, so all credit goes to him for the SmackDown matches. Honestly I'm not expecting any reviews, I haven't been very active of late and I don't expect people to take the time to write a review. Some general comments would be great. I'm not a PPV guy, so this is the last PPV that will be done out in full. I'm taking over both brands, so I really haven't got the time. Speaking of time, I'm not going to kill myself putting shows together. I have the next 8 shows and PPV planned out and Raw is half done, though expect 14-21 day gaps between shows. OK, rambling over, enjoy the show...

>>> Fading shots of Mick Foley as Mankind, Cactus Jack and Dude Love.

Narrator: Every man who walks among us tonight, walks with a purpose and a willingness to achieve their ultimate goal, but in order to do so, they most all show, No Mercy!

***Screen goes black***

>>> The No Mercy sign, painted in vibrant red appears across a jet black background. The Raw and SmackDown logos appear at either side of the sign.

Voice Over: And now, Raw and SmackDown present, WWE No Mercy.

>>> A silver dagger pierces the No Mercy logo and the graphic shatters into thousands of tiny pieces, revealing a live shot of the arena.

[ARENA LIVE]

>>> Pyro explodes in and around the enormous No Mercy set, bringing the fans to their feet. “Propane Nightmares” by Pendulum, the official No Mercy theme song blasts throughout the arena as the lights come up. There isn’t an individual sitting down as the camera circles the arena, taking in a shot of the enthusiastic fans, many of whom are holding up posters. One young boy, dressed from head to toe in Jeff Hardy attire, proudly displays a sign which reads “Jeff Hardy the next world champion.” To the right of the young man, a group of five men, in their early twenties, all have individual posters that collectively spell out ORTON!!!

[RAW ANNOUNCE TABLE]

>>> Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are seated behind the Raw announce table. Both men look genuinely excited as they get ready for No Mercy.

Cole: We welcome you to the Rose garden in Portland Oregon and we thank you for joining us live on pay per view, wherever you may be. Are you ready for No Mercy Jerry Lawler?

Lawler: Ready, are you kidding me Michael Cole, I was born ready. These people here in Portland are most definitely ready, this noise in deafening.

Cole: Three championships will be decided here tonight at No Mercy, none bigger than the fatal four way for the world heavyweight championship, in which the champion CM Punk must defend his title against Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels and John Cena, all multiple time, former world champions.

Lawler: Hang on just one minute Cole, John Cena is not even in the building yet, he may not even show up here tonight and if he does, we still don’t know whether or not he’s been cleared to wrestle.

Cole: That is true, but John Cena promised us on Raw last Monday night that he would be here and John Cena is a man of his word. It’s going to be an unpredictable night no doubt, but now I’m going to hand it over to our broadcast Colleagues from SmackDown, good old JR, Jim Ross and Tazz.

[SMACKDOWN ANNOUNCE TABLE]

JR: Thanks guy. On behalf of Smackdown and Tazz, I’d like to welcome you all to No Mercy! We got some great matches set up on the Smackdown side of things for tonight.

Tazz: That’s right. In Smackdown’s main event we will see Triple H facing off against Jeff Hardy for the WWE Championship. In the weeks leading up to this, Triple H has been distracted by Brock Lesnar and Umaga, I’m thinking his lack of concentration on Jeff Hardy could be his downfall.

JR: We also have Mick Foley facing off against the young, brash, Kenny Dykstra in a street fight and Mick Foley hasn’t taken his eyes off of Kenny since this whole thing started.

Tazz: And we have a battle of David versus Goliath when MVP faces off against the angry giant, Big Show.

JR: MVP has been ducking Big Show for weeks and now that Big Show is finally going to get him face to face, I cant imagine what he will do to him.

Tazz: And last but not least, we will see The Brian Kendrick defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Paul London.

JR: When Kendrick was awarded the Cruiserweight Championship he was informed he would be facing his former tag partner, Paul London in his first defence.

Tazz: Ever since then Kendrick has been doing everything in his power to keep London from making it to No Mercy but now the night is here and he has no choice but to get in the ring with London, that should be one heck of a match.

[Match 1] Cruiserweight Title Match - The Brian Kendrick © w/Ezekiel Jackson vs. Paul London

**Man With A Plan**

Tony Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the Cruiserweight Championship! Introducing first, being accompanied by Ezekiel Jackson, he is the Cruiserweight Champion, THE BRIAN KENDRICK!

>>> Kendrick gets a fair amount of heat but he just dances down the ramp, not paying any attention to the fans. Zeke walks slowly behind him, looking big and bad and ready to get involved if Kendrick needs it.

**Hooligan**

Tony Chimel: And his opponent, weighing in at 205 pounds, he is from Austin, Texas, PAUL LONDON!

>>> London rips threw the curtain and sprints to the ring before sliding in and getting right up close to Kendrick, who just stands there with a scowl on his face.

JR: London has finally got Kendrick one on one in the middle of the ring with the cruiserweight title on the line.

Tazz: I wouldn’t count Kendrick out just yet though, I’m sure he’s still got a few tricks up his sleeve.

JR: I wouldn’t doubt it, if there’s one word to describe Kendrick, its tricky.

***Bell Rings***

London calls for Kendrick to lock up with him mid ring with Kendrick does after a moment of hesitation. They push and pull at each other for a few seconds before Kendrick gives London and kick to the mid section, sending London stumbling backwards, doubled over. Kendrick, who is too cocky for his own good and he shows it here, taunts the crowd and London rather then capitalizing on his opportunity. London, now a little ticked off charges at Kendrick but Kendrick doesn’t want anything to do with an angry Paul London so he rolls out of the ring, London follows him though. Kendrick runs around the ring trying to keep away from London, at least until he calms down. Kendrick runs by Zeke and stands behind him and taunts Paul. Paul obviously stops chasing Kendrick now as this mountain of a man is standing in his way. Kendrick rolls into the ring and London follows but Kendrick attacks London while he is still getting in the ring with a vicious flurry of kicks to the back and the ribs.

Kendrick looks a lot more confident now that he’s in control as he lifts London to his feet and sends him running into a corner with a Irish whip. Kendrick charges at London and nails him with a clothesline in the corner, dropping London into a seated position in the corner. Kendrick bends down so he can attack London with a few right hands before the ref breaks it up. Kendrick grabs London by the foot and pulls him out of the corner before hooking both legs and looking for a quick win.

London kicks out. Kendrick mounts himself on London and starts to hit him with more fists, London tries to cover up but the attack is so rapid that he pretty much just has to take it. The ref finally pulls Kendrick off of London but Kendrick has done what he wanted and London slowly gets to his feet. Kendrick runs up to London, who is standing against the ropes and dropkicks him out of the ring. London lands with a thud on the ground. Kendrick makes it look like he’s going to suicide dive London but the ref tells him to stay in the ring. Kendrick tries to get out of the ring but the ref keeps trying to keep him in the ring. Zeke walks over to the fallen London and lifts him up while Kendrick distracts the ref. Zeke WHIPS London in the steel steps shoulder first. London drops to the ground holding his shoulder as Zeke walks away and Kendrick stops distracting the ref. The ref sees London holding his shoulder and asks Zeke if he did anything and Zeke obviously denies it.

Kendrick now gets out of the ring and stands London up before pushing him towards the ring post face first and London gets wrapped around it. Kendrick looks very confident now as he lifts London to his feet by his hair. Kendrick rolls London into the ring and then follows. Kendrick helps London to his feet again and then slaps him in the face, almost knocking London back down. He slaps him a second time and this seems to piss London off as he fires back with a stiff right hand, rocking Kendrick. Kendrick doesn’t fall though but instead fires back with a right of his own. London hits Kendrick with another right, and then Kendrick hits London, then London attacks, then Kendrick nails London with a right as the crowd boo’s Kendrick’s shots and cheers London’s. London finally gets the upper hand with a right and then another and then another before hitting Kendrick with a standing hurracarrana sending Kendrick into the ropes but Kendrick isn’t about to let London build momentum, instead Kendrick gets out of the ring again and tries to catch his breath.

London isn’t afraid to go after Kendrick though as the claps a few times, getting the crowd into it before charging the ropes and flying at Kendrick with a SUICIDE DIVE! Both men lay there in a pile as the ref starts to count. The ref gets to the count of six when London makes it to his feet. London rolls into the ring to break the count and then rolls back out to help Kendrick up. Kendrick delivers a thumb to the eye of London though! Kendrick stumbles away from London, getting behind Zeke again. London follows him once again and instead of letting Zeke get in his way this time, he nails Zeke with a dropkick, dropping Zeke. Kendrick is now in the ring and London follows him but instead of falling for Kendrick’s trap again, London gets up on the apron and hits Kendrick with a forearm, sending him stumbling. London then leaps to the top rope and nails Kendrick with a springboard clothesline!

London quickly goes for a cover.

Kendrick kicks out! London isn’t bothered though, realizing that although Kendrick can talk the talk, he can also walk the walk. Big Zeke now gets up on the apron, furious that London attacked him. The ref gets in his face and EJECTS HIM FROM RINGSIDE! Zeke attempts to get in the ring but London isn’t going to have any of that as he charges at him and dropkicks him out of the ring, to the floor below! Kendrick takes this opportunity to attack London from behind with a forearm to the back of the head. London drops like a pile of bricks, holding the back of his head. Kendrick quickly applies a Camel Clutch and brutalizes the face of London with some cross faces while he has the camel clutch locked in. Lucky for London, he’s close to the ropes. London claws his way towards the ropes, since he cant reach them just yet. London continues to pull at the neck of London and nail him in the face with more cross faces but London just keeps pulling and clawing and scratching before he finally gets to the ropes! The ref tells Kendrick to break it up but Kendrick doesn’t release it until the count of 4.

Kendrick watches Zeke and they both have a angry look on their face. Kendrick goes back to work on London though and looks for a clothesline to the now standing Paul London but London ducks it and then nails Kendrick with a superkick on his way back, snapping Kendrick backwards. London quickly hooks a leg and goes for the cover.

Kendrick kicks out again! London lifts Kendrick to his feet but Kendrick rakes the eyes of London! The ref gets in Kendrick’s face about this but Kendrick ignores him and springboards off the ropes and hits London with a Springboard back elbow! London doesn’t bother going for the cover but instead gets right to his feet, bounces off the ropes, jumps over London and drops onto him with a springboard moonsault. Now London hooks a leg and goes for the cover.

London kicks out! Kendrick looks a little annoyed but he calms down a bit as he gets to his feet. Kendrick helps London up and then kicks him in the mid-section before bouncing off the ropes and looking for a knee lift to the face of London but London moves out of the way and pushes Kendrick onto the ropes again and hits him with a arm drag on the way back. Kendrick quickly gets up but is caught with another arm drag, he gets to his feet again and London pulls him down with a third arm drag! Kendrick is getting extremely frustrated as he rolls out of the ring again. London follows him out and turns him around before smacking him in the face with a big right hand, putting Kendrick on his ass. London gets in the ring and then climbs to the top rope! London waits there, perched until Kendrick gets to his feet, London then dives off the top rope to the outside looking for a diving cross body but at the last possible moment, Kendrick dives out of the way! LONDON CRASHES AND BURNS!

Kendrick wears a cocky smirk as he rolls in the ring and just lays there in the middle of the ring, resting, hoping that London stays down, accepting the possibility of a count out win. The ref begins his count.

LONDON DIVES INTO THE RING JUST IN TIME! Kendrick is livid as he rushes over to London and mounts him, nailing him in the face with vicious forearms! London has a little bit of blood trickling from his nose as Kendrick retreats from his brutal beat down. Kendrick pulls London’s hair, getting him to his feet before putting him back on the ground after a leg lariat. The announcers point out that Kendrick is getting frustrated and that isn’t good but it looks good right now as Kendrick viciously attacks London with some hard kicks to the back. Kendrick takes a moment to throw his hands up in the air and taunt the crowd as well as London which the crowd boos him for.

Kendrick grabs London by the foot and drags him close to one of the corners. Kendrick then gets on the apron and proceeds to climb to the top rope. Kendrick jumps off and CRUSHES LONDON WITH A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP! Kendrick isn’t satisfied just yet though as he makes his way to the top rope again, possibly looking for a second diving double foot stomp. But London leaps towards the top rope, shaking it, causing Kendrick to fall into a uncomfortable position. London starts to climb to the top rope as well and looks to hit a superplex as he drapes his arm over Kendrick and Kendrick’s arm over him.

Kendrick starts to panic as he hits London in the mid-section with his free hand. London almost falls off the top rope but he holds on, Kendrick’s other arm is now free and he uses it to hit London with a few stiff forearms, which finally knocks him off the top rope. Kendrick now climbs to his feet, looking to dive off the top rope but London was just waiting for that as he leaps back up to the top rope and sends Kendrick flying off with a TOP ROPE HURRACARRANA!

Both men lay on the canvas, tired and broken after such a dangerous move. London is the first to start stirring and he is also the first to his feet. London then goes over to Kendrick and helps him. London hit’s a right and then another and then another before going off the ropes and hitting Kendrick with a diving cross body. London goes for the pin.

KENDRICK KICKS OUT! London looks a little surprised but he isn’t going to let himself get frustrated. London lifts Kendrick up again and hits him with a flurry of right hands before he bounces off the ropes and hits London with a tornado DDT, or he almost does but Kendrick pushes him off of him. London luckily lands on his feet and looks for a superkick on Kendrick but Kendrick ducks it. Kendrick looks for a superkick of his own but London ducks it as well. Kendrick quickly hits London with a standing dropkick, sending him stumbling into a corner. Kendrick charges him and looks for a running shoulder but London sees it coming and catches Kendrick with a mushroom kick.

London quickly goes for a schoolboy.

*Bell Rings*

[Winner: The Brian Kendrick @ 9:10]

>>> Kendrick just lays there for a second, soaking in the fact that he is still champ. The ref retrieves his title and hands it to him. Kendrick then gets to his feet and holds the title high in the air, yelling out “Yes” every couple of seconds. He poses at a few turnbuckles as the crowd boos him but he’s happy and to him, that’s all that matters. He kisses the Cruiserweight Championship before rolling out of the ring and making his way up the ramp. Paul London is on the outside of the ring, leaned up against a set of steel steps, just staring into nothing, looking a little annoyed, a little pissed but mostly, just blank. Kendrick poses one final time at the top of the ramp before finally walking threw the curtain.

Tazz: Well, as much as I hate to admit it, he earned that win.

JR: Well he didn’t exactly play by the rules to get it but he took his fair share of punishment to get the win none the less.

Tazz: The Brian Kendrick is still our Cruiserweight Champion.

[BACKSTAGE]

>>> We are in the Raw general manager’s office and Vickie Guerrero is seated behind her desk. Pat Patterson is sitting a good distance away from her on a fold up chair, attempting to balance a cup of coffee on his lap and hold a donut at the same time. The camera moves over to Vickie’s desk, which has the latest issue of WWE magazine spread across it. Vickie is flicking through the pages when she comes upon an article about the SmackDown general manager, Alicia Fox. Vickie sneers, grabs a pen and begins to scribble all over Alicia Fox’s face until the page rips in two.

Pat: I still don’t know why I can’t have my own desk.

Vickie: Because I’m the general manager, not you. You’re my assistant; you don’t need a damn desk.

Pat: But it makes eating so much easier.

>>> Vickie looks up and spots the coffee and donut.

Vickie: (angry) you went and got yourself a coffee and a donut and you didn’t think to ask me if I wanted anything?

Pat: Well I overheard you on the phone earlier today complaining about what happened on SmackDown Friday night and how you were going to go on a diet, so I figured you wouldn’t want anything.

>>> Vickie stands up. Staring a hole through Patterson.

Vickie: (with intent) I’m starting Monday…

>>> Vickie walks towards Patterson, who is now looking nervous and his boss approaches.

Vickie: and so are you!

>>> With that Vickie swats the donut out of Patterson’s hand. Forgetting about the coffee on his lap, Patterson goes to stand up, spilling the hot coffee onto his lap. Patterson lets out a scream and Vickie laughs, clearly unconcerned.

Vickie: You’re such an idiot; I don’t know why I keep you around, get out of here and clean yourself up, you idiot.

>>> Patterson gets to his feet and hobbles across the room, clutching his private parts, in obvious pain. As Patterson exit’s the room, the world champion, CM Punk enters.

***BOOS FROM WITHIN THE ARENA***

Vickie: What do you want?

Punk: (sarcastically) it’s nice to see you too.

>>> Vickie returns to her desk, puts her feet up on a second chair and begins flicking through the rest of the magazine.

Vickie: As you can see, I’m a very busy person, so cut to the point.

Punk: I don’t know if you’re aware of this, but I have to defend my world title tonight, in about two hours actually and I still don’t know whether I’ll be facing two or three opponents. Care to shed some light on the matter.

Vickie: John Cena has yet to show up at the arena, we won’t know the answer to your question until he does.

Punk: How come?

Vickie: Isn’t it obvious. Cena needs to be here so the doctors can examine him. If they deem him fit enough to wrestle, we’ll have a fatal four way match. But as I already said, we won’t know anything until Cena shows up.

>>> Punk’s face contorts, he’s clearly frustrated by the situation and who could blame him.

Punk: (sarcastically) Thanks you’ve been a great help.

>>> CM Punk turns and walks out of the room.

Vickie: (not picking up on the sarcasm) you’re welcome!

>>> Patterson re-enters the room, wearing a pair of leather shorts. Vickie drops her magazine and looks repulsed.

Vickie: What the hell are you wearing?

Paterson: They’re the only other pants I packed without stuff attached to them.

Vickie: (hand over her mouth) Oh God, I think I’m going to be sick.

*Fade to Black*

[MATCH #2] - REY MYSTERIO VS EVAN BOURNE -

Cole: Man CM Punk is not a happy camper here tonight at No Mercy.

Lawler: Well can you blame him? We’re getting set for our second match up of the night and he still doesn’t know whether or not he’ll be taking on two or three opponents. That’s just not fair if you ask me.

***EVAN FROM HEAVEN***

*BOOS*

>>> Evan Bourne casually walks out onto the stage, expressionless. He refuses to acknowledge the capacity crowd and immediately heads toward the ring.

Lillian: This matchup is scheduled for one fall. Making his to the ring, weighing in at one hundred and eighty three pounds, from Saint Louis Missouri, Evan Bourne.

*MORE BOOING*

Lawler: Evan Bourne is certainly not endearing himself to these fans here in Omaha.

Cole: Evan Bourne turned his back on his fans when he aligned himself with the world champion CM Punk a few weeks ago in a big to get ahead of the pack on Raw.

Lawler: If Evan Bourne beats Rey Mysterio here tonight he won’t need CM Punk to help him up the ladder of success, he’ll have done it by himself.

>>> Evan Bourne climbs the steel steps and as has been the case in recent weeks, he no longer strikes a pose on the apron, instead choosing to lead over the top rope into the ring. Bourne’s refusal to acknowledge the crowd and play up to hi is managing to gain him some heat.

***BOOYAKA 619***

*ALMIGHTY ROAR FROM THE FANS***

>>> Pyro burst up through the centre of the stage and a few moments later, Rey Mysterio comes from under the stage and jumps into the air. Mysterio runs to the right of the stage, calls to the fans and throws his right arm in the air, causing multicolored Pyro to burst into the air. He then runs to the left side of the stage and repeats the process to similar effect.

Lillian: Making his way to the ring, weighing in at one hundred and seventy five pounds, from Sad Diego California, Rey Mysterio.

*HUGE POP*

Cole: My God listen to this ovation, it’s deafening.

Lawler: I know it’s nearly as loud as the one I received before we went on the air.

Cole: Please! Ladies and gentlemen, this match up has been referred to as Evan Bourne’s make or break moment, but there’s also a lot on the line for Rey Mysterio. Rey Mysterio has promised to teach Bourne a lesson here tonight at No Mercy. If Rey loses, what does that mean for his career on Raw?

Lawler: Quite simply, tonight Rey Mysterio has to fight off the man many people have called his successor. It’s all to play for, but only one man can walk out the winner.

>>> Mysterio locks heads with his young fans on route to the ring, taking off his outer mask and placing it over the head of a young boy, who is thrilled by the gesture. Rey jumps up onto the apron and flips over the top rope, landing on his feet in the ring. Evan Bourne is standing across from him, seemingly unfazed by the reaction Rey is receiving from the fans. Lillian Garcia exit’s the ring.

***BELL RINGS***

Both men hook up in the centre of the ring. Mysterio Locks Bourne in a headlock, but the rookie easily escaped and sends Rey to the ropes. Mysterio comes off of the ropes with momentum, Bourne leapfrogs over Rey’s head and Mysterio rebounds off the opposing ropes. Bourne turns and Rey lands across him with the cross body and takes Evan Bourne down onto the canvas. Rey hooks the leg….

NO!

Evan Bourne kicks out after a kick one count. Both men immediately get back up to their feet. Rey nails Bourne with a right hand and whips him into the corner. Rey follows in behind Bourne, who climbs to the second’s ropes and watches Rey with a kick to the side of the head. Rey stumbles backwards and Bourne climbs to the top rope. As Bourne steadies himself on the top rope, Rey recovers and quickly capitalizes on Bourne’s predicament, shaking the top rope and causing Bourne to land awkwardly on the top turnbuckle. Mysterio climbs to the top turnbuckle where Bourne is sitting and goes for a hurricanronna. This time it’s Evan Bourne who counters, grabbing onto Mysterio’s ankles as he falls backwards, preventing him from executing the move. Mysterio is dangling, his legs wrapped around Evan Bourne’s neck. Bourne loosens Rey’s legs from around his neck and then releases his grip on Mysterio’s ankles, causing Rey to crash to the canvas. Rey lands on his upper back and shoulders. Bourne steadies himself on the middle turnbuckle, before delivering a double leg drop across the neck and upper body of Mysterio. Bourne shouts at the referee to make the count….

………………..NO!!!

Mysterio gets his right shoulder up and as he begins to move, he reaches around to the back of his next, obviously feeling the effects of dropping from the top turnbuckle. Evan Bourne drags Mysterio out of the corner and then turns his back on Rey, who is laid out on the canvas. Bourne shouts at the crowd, telling them to “watch this.” Bourne sets up the standing moonsault, but takes too much time. Rey grabs Bourne from behind and rolls him up, pinning his shoulders to the mat…..

2…………………………………

………………NO!!!

Bourne powers out and races to get back to his feet. Rey is ready and waiting for him and delivers a stiff kick to the ribs and midsection of Bourne. Rey cuts Bourne across the chest with stinging chops in the same vein as legendary Ric Flair. This draws the customary “whooooooooooo” chant from the capacity crowd. Rey continues to deliver chop after chop until he has Evan Bourne backed up against the ring ropes. Bourne’s chest is now bright red. Rey grabs Bourne by his right arm and attempts to send him across the ring. Bourne however clings onto the top rope with his left arm. Rey again tries to send his opponent to the opposing ropes, but this time Bourne summons up enough strength to pull Rey towards him. Bourne drops his head and backdrops Rey up and over the top rope. The ever resilient Rey Mysterio, like a cat, lands on his feet on the aprons edge and grabs the ropes to steady himself. Bourne turns and delivers a standing dropkick to the face of Mysterio sending him flying off of the apron and onto the floor. Rey gathers himself on the floor and Bourne watches on intently. As Rey reaches his feet, Evan Bourn runs to the opposing ropes, charges across the ring and dives through the middle ropes, landing onto of Rey Mysterio.

Both men are out of it on the floor and the referee begins as ten count. As the referee reaches the count of five, Bourne gets to his feet and rolls under the bottom rope. The referee continues to count and Mysterio is still laid out on the arena floor. Bourne shouts at the referee to count faster, drawing heat from the crowd. The referee is up to the count of seven and eventually Rey Mysterio begins to climbs to his feet. As Rey grabs onto the edge of the ring, Bourne realizes he’s not going to win this match via count out and so decides to capitalize on Mysterio’s weakened position. Bourne once again hits the ropes and comes off with a baseball slide, which Mysterio sidesteps and Bourne lands on his feet, turns and gets takes down with a clothesline. Bourne struggles to his feet as Rey Mysterio climbs the steel ring steps. Bourne gingerly walks toward Mysterio, who jumps onto the ring apron and then onto the shoulders of Evan Bourne. HURRICANRONA ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING!!! The crowd pop big for this. The referee has now made his way to the outside of the ring and is asking Rey to get back into the ring. Rey grabs onto a dazed and confused Evan Bourne and rolls him under the bottom rope and back into the ring. Rey follows in behind and immediately makes the cover…..

2……………………………

………………NO!!!

Evan Bourne lifts his right shoulder up off of the mat at the last possible opportunity. The sold out crowd let out a collective groan before rallying around Rey Mysterio once more. Rey is back up to his feet and before he has time to catch his breath, the rookie Evan Bourne is also back to a vertical base. Rey nails Bourne with a solid right to the face, before grabbing onto his right arm. Rey twists Bourne’s right arm, tugging on it as he backs himself into the corner, dragging Bourne with him. Rey begins to climbs the ropes backwards, face to face with Bourne, whose face is contorted, due to the pressure being applied to his right arm by Rey Mysterio. Rey reaches the top rope, and as he does he releases his grip on Bourne’s right arm, before diving onto Bourne’s shoulders. Rey again goes for a hurricanronna, but this time Evan Bourne blocks it. Bourne, with Mysterio on his shoulders turns and walks out of the corner and into the centre of the ring. POWERBOMB!!! Rey’s head bounces off of the canvas. Bourne throws his right arm across the upper body of Mysterio…………..

REY KICKS OUT! REY KICKS OUT!

Bourne buries his face in the palms of his hands, frustrated. Bourne, showing a more aggressive streak, dives on Rey and begins to pound on his with right and lefts. Mysterio tries to cover up, but Bourne is relentless in his assault, his wanting to destroy Mysterio knows no boundaries. The referee steps in to admonish Bourne, who gets to his feet and starts to kicks and stop the former WWE champion Mysterio. The crowd are booing the hell out of Bourne, not necessarily because he’s over as a heel, but because of the fact Rey Mysterio is majorly over as a face. Bourne, in a complete show of disrespect places his right foot on the chest of Mysterio………

1……………………

……………..NO!

Mysterio kicks out with force which doesn’t seem to surprise the vicious rookie at all, who seems more preoccupied with embarrassing Rey Mysterio right now than actually winning this match up. Bourne, taking his time, bends over and grabs Mysterio by his mask. Bourne then proceeds to rip and tear at the mask in a bid to pull it off of Rey’s head. Rey desperately clings onto his mask, to his identity, to his heritage. After several seconds of trying to pull the mask off of Mysterio, Bourne gives up and begins to kick and stomp on Mysterio once more. As Bourne delivers kicks to the ribs and back, Rey rolls across the canvas and eventually he rolls under the bottom rope and out onto the floor. Bourne steps out onto the apron and comes off with a double axe handle to the back of Mysterio, who finds himself face down on the floor in front of the Raw announce table. Bourne grabs the black plastic covering that sits atop the announce table, lifts it in the air and drops it with force across the back of Mysterio. Bourne kicks the plastic covering out of the way, grabs Mysterio by the back of the neck and throws him on top of the announce table. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler run for cover.

Bourne nails Rey with a furious flurry of right hands to the face before moving away from the announce table and jumping up onto the ring apron. Bourne turns to face the ring and then in a death defying display attempts a SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT onto Mysterio. As Bourne comes in to land it, Mysterio sits up and Bourne crashes onto the table, which fails to break. Rey is still sitting onto of the announce table, Bourne behind him. Rey slowly climbs off of the table and grabs onto the injured Evan Bourne, dragging him onto the floor. Bourne can barely move and so Rey hand to drag him up to his feet, supporting all of Bourne’s weight. Rey lays Bourne’s upper body on the apron and then lifts his legs up, before rolling the rookie into the ring. Mysterio follows in behind. Rey makes the cover………. Bourne is out of it…………….this has to be over…………

1……………………….

……………………………………….2

………………………………………………………….NO! NO! NO!

Somehow Evan Bourne manages to kick out after crashing into the announce table moments earlier. Say what you will about Evan Bourne, but you cannot deny the young man’s will to win. Rey gets to his feet and drags Bourne’s limp body into the corner. Rey then proceeds to climb to the top rope once more. As Rey reaches the top, Bourne grabs the referee and shoves him into the ropes. This causes Rey to fall off of the top rope and he crashes into the canvas. A sick, twisted smile spreads across the face of Evan Bourne as the referee shouts at him in anger. The words seem to have little effect on the glory hungry youngster. With Rey laid out on the canvas, Evan Bourne spots his opportunity and goes all the way to the top rope, perhaps sensing the time is right to put Mysterio away with the shooting star press. Bourne’s injured ribs, a result of crashing into the announce table minutes earlier, slow down the usually spritely youngster. This is turn allows Mysterio to recover from his earlier fall and he races to his feet, climbs the ropes and arms drags Bourne off of the top rope to the canvas. Bourne lets out a shout as his back crashes onto the canvas. Mysterio seemingly revitalized and having found a whole other level, comes off of the ropes with a leg drop across the neck of his advisory, driving all of the wind out of Bourne. Rey covers…………..

1………………..

2……………………………..

……………….NO!

Bourne kicks out and this match up will continue. In what we all figured would be a high flying match up, Rey Mysterio once again looks to the top turnbuckle for inspiration. Rey walks across the ring and climbs to the top and on arrival, he crouches down in anticipation. Evan Bourne is up. Bourne turns and Rey rises to his feet. CROSSBODY OFF THE TOP……….

1…………….

2…………………………

NO!!!!!

Evan Bourne once again shows his resilience. Rey Mysterio is up and undeterred he steps through the ropes and onto the apron. The west coast pop is coming, the fans can tell. Bourne is up. Mysterio launches himself up onto the top rope and the springboards onto the shoulders of Bourne. Bourne again has it scouted and once again goes for the power bomb. Bourne hoists Rey into the air. Mysterio breaks free and as he drops he wraps his arms around the neck of Bourne……….. TORNADO DDT OUT OF NOWHERE!!! Bourne’s entire body flips over on impact and his legs land between the ropes. Mysterio covers, but the referee points out Evan Bourne’s body position. Rey drags Bourne away from the ropes and covers……………..

1………………………..

2………………………………………..

NO!!!

Again Evan Bourne defies the odds and kicks out yet again, surprising those in attendance. For the first time in the match, Rey shows some frustration, banging his fist on the canvas. As Rey gets to his feet, Bourne, seemingly unsure of his position in the ring latches onto the middle ropes. Mysterio smiles realizing Bourne’s mistake. Rey runs to the ropes……….. 619 ……………..619 ……………..619!!! Rey covers. Can he finally put Evan Bourne away????

Mick: When I get in that ring with Kenny Dykstra right here in Portland, Oregon…

>>> The crowd pops and Mick smiles at the camera.

Mick: I’m going to give him exactly what he wanted. He wanted to get in the ring with me? Fine. He wants to hurt me, bloody me and beat me? Sure, go for it. He wants to make a name off of my legacy? You can try. But just remember Kenny, just remember I’M going to get everything I wanted too. I wanted pain for me and you and that’s exactly what I’m going to get.

Todd: People say you have snapped, that your crazier then ever, what do you have to say about that?

Mick: Well Todd, frankly, that hurts. I might have snapped but Kenny pushed me so if he ends up getting a cheese grater to the head tonight, its all fair game right?!

[Match 3] Street Fight- Mick Foley vs. Kenny Dykstra

**Pure Control**

Tony Chimel: The following contest is a street fight and it is scheduled for one fall! In this match there is no disqualification and no countouts! Introducing first, weighing in at 234 pounds, he is from Worchester, Massachusetts, Kenny Dykstra!

>>> Kenny Dykstra makes his way to the ring with a garbage can filled with weapons, everything from barbwire 2X4s to Golf Clubs. Once Kenny is in the ring, he dumps the garbage cans contents out all over the ring and stands there with the garbage can in hand, waiting for Mick.

**Wreck**

Tony Chimel: And his opponent, he is from Long Island, New York, Mick Foley!

>>> Foley hobbles to the ring the best he can with his bad knees. He high fives fans along the way with one hand and in the other hand is a baseball bat wrapped in barbwire.

Tazz: This feud started when Kenny Dykstra retired Mick Foley’s friend, Tommy Dreamer.

JR: That’s right but it got dangerous when Mick Foley snapped, telling Kenny that he craves the pain and he likes to give it as much as he likes to receive it.

Tazz: And now it all comes down to this. I’ll tell yah JR, I like Foley going into this, he has the experience in this kind of environment but Kenny Dykstra is much younger and much more agile the Foley, he could pull out the upset.

*** Bell Rings ***

Mick slides in the ring but Kenny doesn’t even let him get to his feet as he attacks him with the garbage can, hitting Mick over the back with it. Mick drops his barbed wire baseball bat, deciding to use his hands to shield himself from Kenny’s early attack. By the time Kenny is done hitting Mick with the garbage can, its shaped like a U from being wrapped around Mick’s back a few too many times. Mick is quick to get up, looking pretty pissed off but Kenny is going to play this smart and he runs over to the weapons he had dumped out before the match started and picks up a 2X4.

By the time Kenny is ready to fight Mick, Mick is already swinging is barbed wire baseball bat at Kenny and Kenny cant do anything but block it with his 2X4 but the force and power from Mick knocks the 2X4 right out of Kenny’s hand. Kenny tries to pick his 2X4 up but he isn’t quick enough and Mick swings his barbwire baseball bat at Kenny and Kenny has to dive out of the way, barely dodging Mick’s weapon. Mick swings at Kenny again, who is on the ground and Kenny rolls out of the way. Kenny realizes that he’s going to get hit eventually if he stays in the ring so he quickly rolls out before Mick can take another swing at him.

Mick isn’t going to let Kenny get away that easy though as he gets out of the ring too and goes after the youngster. Mick chases Kenny around the ring and Kenny almost runs into the steel steps because he’s looking behind himself to see if Mick is gaining on him. Mick takes a swing at Kenny’s head but Kenny ducks it and Mick’s barbwire baseball bat slams into a steel post. Kenny thinks fast and quickly drops kicks the knees of Mick, forcing him to drops face first into the steel steps. Kenny takes a second to catch his breath before he starts kicking away at Mick, who is now seated against the steel steps. Mick reaches for his weapon but its out of reach, having gone flying when his face met the unforgiving steel steps.

Kenny sees that Mick is reaching for his weapon and kicks Mick one more time, right in the head before he saunters over to Mick’s fallen weapon and picks it up with a cocky grin on his face. Kenny walks back over to where Mick is sitting and slowly lifts the bat up before examining it bottom to top. Kenny’s has a grin on his face as he stares at Mick’s weapon which he is going to use against him. Kenny then lifts the barbwire bat high above his head and tries to bring it down on Mick but Mick moves at the last moment making Kenny slam the weapon into the steel steps! Kenny drops the weapon of mass destruction as Mick gets to his feet and hits Kenny with a few stiff right hands, forcing Dykstra to stumble backwards.

Kenny tries to fight back but the grizzled veteran is hitting to fast and too hard for Kenny to fight back. Mick yells out “Bang bang!” As he makes the guns hand signal the crowd pops and Mick hits Kenny one final time, sending him flying over the barricade and into the crowd. Mick gets up onto the barricade as fast as he can, which isn’t very fast and tries to go after Kenny, who is already up and trying to escape Mick’s onslaught. Mick catches up to Kenny thought and jumps on him, pinning him on the ground. Mick starts to hit Kenny in the face but Kenny doesn’t want to get caught in this position so he quickly pushes Mick off and gets up and then kicks Mick in the mid-section, taking advantage.

Kenny grabs Mick by the hair and throws him into a wall. The fans are all around them, cheering and slapping theirs backs and arms but it doesn’t look like Kenny even notices anyone is there but him and Mick. Kenny grabs Mick by the hair again and takes him out into an entrance tunnel for the fans, which leads out into the lobby. There are mores fan out there, who are buying shirts and drinks and food, etc. etc. and they look very surprised to see Mick and Kenny in the lobby. Kenny tosses Mick into another wall near a T-shirt stand. Kenny goes over to the stand and grabs a Mick Foley shirt. He walks over to Foley and wraps it around his neck from behind and starts to pull on it as he pushes his knee into Mick’s back.

Mick coughs, trying to get air into his lungs and lucky for Mick, Kenny releases the hold, throwing the shirt in the trash before going back to work on Mick. A rookie move from Kenny, choosing insult over injury as by the time he’s back from disposing of Mick’s shirt, Mick is to his knees and he elbows Kenny in the midsection. Mick grabs Kenny by the head and slams him face first into a wall before taking Kenny over to the garbage can that Kenny just put Mick’s shirt in. Mick throws Kenny in the garbage can and yells “Go get it!”. Kenny falls to the ground, with the garbage can still covering most of his upper body. Mick kicks the garbage can, rolling Kenny across the floor and little. Mick takes a step backwards and then gets a running start and elbow drops Kenny who is still in the garbage!

Kenny finally gets the garbage can off of him and when he does, Mick Foley is no where to be seen. The camera looks around for Mick and sees him telling a security officer to step off of his segway PT. Mick gets on and floors it, full speed at Kenny Dykstra but Kenny is ready and he CLOTHESLINES MICK who was probably going 10 mp/h at Kenny. Mick flies backwards, hitting the ground with a thud. Mick looks like he’s out cold as Kenny falls to the ground, trying to catch his breath. Kenny is the first to get up and he grabs Mick by his hair and walks him over to a Pizza Pizza stand. Kenny grabs a slice of pizza and shoves it in Mick’s face as he yells out “There you go fatty”. Kenny then throws Mick over the counter, onto an innocent cashier. It isn’t long before Mick is back to his feet and he dives over the counter with A FORK IN HAND! Mick leaps off of the counter and takes Kenny down with a flying forearm. Mick quickly starts to RIP KENNY’S FLESH WITH THE FORK!

Kenny screams in pain as the blood starts to pour out of his head. Mick drops the form and lifts Kenny up. Mick walks Kenny back threw the tunnel into the main arena where the fans are. Mick continues to walk Kenny down towards the ring but just as they get to the barricade, Kenny elbows Mick in the midsection and then clotheslines him over the barricade. The blood is now all over Kenny and he clears it from his eyes before getting into the ring and grabbing a 9 iron golf club. He rolls back out of the ring and starts to choke Mick with the golf club from behind, much like he did with the T-shirt earlier in the match. Mick quickly elbows Kenny in the side of the head, forcing him to release the hold.

Mick is quick to get up, not wanting to be choked again but Kenny is quicker to his feet and he swings at Mick with the golf club but Mick ducks it. Kenny thinks fast and brings the shaft of the club down across the back of Mick Foley. Mick drops to his hands and knees and Kenny slowly walks over to the side of Mick where he lines up his shot and attempts to HIT MICK IN THE HEAD WITH THE 9 IRON but Mick moves just in time, probably saving his career and maybe his life. Mick quickly drives an elbow into the midsection of Kenny, slamming him back first into a steel pole. Kenny cringes in pain as he holds his back.

Mick rolls into the ring and just lays there in the middle of the ring, trying to catch his breath and trying to plan his next move. Kenny is on the outside of the ring on his hands and knees, holding his back, still in an immense amount of pain. The camera zooms in on Mick’s face as he lays there in the ring and he is wearing the biggest smile anyone has ever seen. He is truly, truly enjoying the pain he has received and he is enjoying the pain he’s dished out to Kenny. The camera then takes a look at Kenny who is slowly getting up still and the look on his face is a lot different, it’s a look of anger, of pain and maybe even of….fear. Mick rolls onto his stomach before pushing himself up. Kenny is a little surprised to see how fast Mick got up and he is a little hesitant to get into the ring but Mick invites him in.

Kenny slowly and cautiously gets in the ring, watching Mick very closely. Once Kenny is in the ring, he charges at Mick but Mick quickly snaps him with a side headlock take over, pinning Kenny’s shoulders to the mat.

Kenny kicks out. Kenny looks a little surprised as he gets up but Mick is wearing a big grin on his face, realizing that he caught Kenny off guard there with the first pinfall attempt of the night. We take a step away from the hardcore action as they both slowly walk to the middle of the ring and lock up. Kenny quickly snaps Foley into a side headlock but Mick is quick to drop Kenny back. Both men get right to their feet and Kenny charges at Mick, looking for a clothesline but Mick takes Kenny down with a deep arm drag. Kenny quickly crawls into a corner, looking pretty surprised. Mick charges at Kenny and looks for the knee strike but Kenny moves at the last moment and Mick slams his knees into the second turnbuckle. Kenny snaps Mick into a roll up and puts his feet on the second rope for safe measure.

Mick kicks out at the last possible moment. Kenny is waiting for Mick when he gets to his feet and looks for a short arm clothesline but Mick ducks it. Mick hit’s a quick jab and another and another but Kenny ducks the next and hits Mick with a fist of his own. Mick doesn’t allow Kenny to gain momentum though as he fires back with a quick right hand of his own. Kenny hits one, Mick hits one, Kenny, Mick, Kenny, Mick, Mick hits another and then another and then rocks Kenny, sending him stumbling to the ropes with another right hand. Mick charges at Kenny and looks for the Cactus clothesline but Kenny ducks it and lifts Mick over the ropes but Mick lands on his feet. Kenny hit’s a thumb to the eye of Mick and then looks to suplex him back into the ring but Mick isn’t budging. Kenny thinks fast and knees Mick in the gut threw the ropes, doubling him over. Kenny quickly pulls Mick’s head in between the second and third ropes and drops Mick on his face with a devastating DDT. Kenny grabs the right arm of Mick and drags him into the middle of the ring before he hooks both legs and looks for the win.

Mick just barely kicks out! Kenny looks both surprised and frustrated as he sits there looking across the crowd. He then rolls onto Mick and mounts himself in striking position. He slams a devastating overhand punch in the face of Mick and the another and another and another and you can see a little blood trickling from the head of Mick. Kenny grins as the blood starts to seep from the head of the hardcore legend. Kenny gets off of Mick and throws his hands into the air, taunting the crowd and Mick with his fist which is wearing Mick’s blood.

Kenny gets out of the ring and starts to look under it. He pulls out a steel chair and slides it into the ring. Once in the ring he waits for Mick to get to his feet and then SMOKES HIM WITH THE CHAIR! Mick doesn’t fall though! So he NAILS HIM AGAIN! But MICK STILL DOESN’T FALL! Kenny gives Mick a kick to the midsection, bending him over a little and then NAILS HIM ON THE TOP OF HIS HEAD! Mick finally falls face first into the mat. Kenny sets the chair up in the middle of the ring and drags Mick’s body over to it, setting his head on the seat of the chair. Kenny then climbs to the top rope, looking finish this match in a big way but just as Kenny is about to leap off the top rope and crush Mick’s head, Mick gets up and hit’s the ropes, causing Kenny to fall into an uncomfortable position.

The look of pain on Kenny’s face tells the whole story as Mick hobbles over to Kenny and attempts to get up on the ropes with him but Kenny hit’s Mick with a few over hand punches, which rocks Mick, causing him to stumble to the middle of the ring, holding his head. Kenny quickly gets to the standing position on the top rope and leaps off and hit’s the BULLDOG TO MICK FOLEY DRIVING HIS HEAD INTO THE SET UP STEEL CHAIR! What used to be a trickle of blood is now blood pouring from the head of Mick Foley. The seat of the steel chair is bent downwards from Mick Foley’s skull slamming against it. Kenny Dykstra waits no time in going for the cover, not even bothering to hook a leg.

He gets back in the ring and starts to wrap the chain around his hand as Mick Foley gets up. Kenny looks livid as he charges at Mick, looking to nail him wit ha stiff right hand, wrapped in steel but Mick thinks fast and scoops Kenny up onto his shoulders and LOOKS FOR THE DREAMER DRIVER, the move of the man that Mick if fighting for, the move of the man that Kenny Dykstra retired! KENNY KICKS OUT! The fans cant believe it and neither can Mick but he doesn’t get frustrated, he gets up. Mick puts one hand in the air before pulling MISTER SOCKO out of his pants! He slips the sock onto his right hand and he looks at it for a moment with a confused look on his face, the look of confusing is then replaced with a the look of a man that just got an idea as Mick Foley gets out of the ring and grabs some BARBWIRE! Mick wraps Mr. Socko in the unforgiving barbwire and then PLUNGES THE SOCK INTO KENNY’S MOUTH, BARBWIRE AND ALL! Kenny’s muffled screams of pain can be heard threw the sock but Mick isn’t letting up, he isn’t letting go until Kenny is out cold and it looks like Mick wont have to wait long as Kenny starts to fade.

Kenny drops to one knee and then falls onto his back as Mick holds the sock in his mouth but Mick isn’t done yet, he only used the sock to knock Kenny out, he still wants to inflict more pain as he gets out of the ring, throws the dangerous sock to the floor and pulls a TABLE out from the under the ring! Mick slides the table into the ring and proceeds to set it up in the middle of the ring. It seems as though Mick should have kept Mr. Socko in a little bit longer as Kenny Dykstra starts to get up! Kenny jumps at Mick, hitting him with a forearm, just as Foley finishes setting the table up. Kenny unloads a volley of fists on the hardcore legend, who cant do anything but cover his face.

Kenny gets out of the ring and grabs the weapon that Foley was looking to use on Kenny from the get go, the barbwire baseball bat. Kenny rolls into the ring and waits for Mick to get to his feet and when he does, Kenny NAILS MICK IN THE GUT WITH THE BARBWIRE BASEBALL BAT, DOUBLING HIM OVER! Kenny isn’t done yet thought as he SLAMS THE SHAFT OF THE BAT INTO FOLEY’S FACE! Mick falls backwards onto the table that he set up not too long ago. Mick lays there, motionless as Kenny drops the bat and starts to climb to the top rope! Kenny is slow in his climbing as Foley’s earlier attacks show their effect. Kenny finally reaches the top rope and just as he’s about to jump off and end this match, MICK FOLEY ROLLS OFF THE TABLE AND HITS KENNY! Kenny falls into a seated position on the top turnbuckle as Mick tries to climb the ropes as well.

Mick gets to the second rope and drapes Kenny’s arm over his neck and his arm over Kenny’s neck. MICK FOLEY SUPERLEX’S KENNY DYKSTRA RIGHT THREW THE TABLE! Both men lay there, with parts of the table all around them. Neither of them are moving, both tired from a long hard match but Mick Foley’s eyes open, he still has some fight left in him. Mick throws an arm over the chest of Kenny Dykstra and the ref begins to count as the fans cheer.

[Winner: Kenny Dykstra @ 16:42]

>>> Kenny is still old cold, he is still laying on Mick and he hasn’t moved since Brock put him there. The ref checks on him to see if he’s ok and after a few seconds he rolls over. The ref lifts his hand up and despite the blood covering his face, you can see that he’s surprised and confused about what happened. The camera takes a look at Mick who is also covered in blood and then we see Brock Lesnar who is standing at the top of the ramp with Paul Heyman, both of them smiling their evil smiles. Kenny looks towards them and he looks even more confused but all he knows is, he’s the winner so he slowly gets up. Kenny raises his right arm up, but that seems to be all the celebrating he’ll be doing since he’s in so much pain. He just stumbles to the back, leaving Mick Foley laying in the ring, bloody, broken and beaten.

JR: What the hell was that!? Dammit, Brock Lesnar just screwed Mick Foley! But why!? Why did he do it!?

Tazz: I don’t know why but I don’t think Kenny Dykstra cares why Brock did it, all he cares about is that he’s the winner. What a match that was.

JR: Yah, it was one hell of a match until Brock Lesnar came down here and ruined it!

Tazz: Who knows why Brock does anything.

>>> Shawn Michaels is sitting on a fold up chair in his dressing room backstage, lacing up his boots in anticipation for his match up later on tonight where he will challenge for the world heavyweight championship.

Lawler: The last time Shawn Michaels won the world title was at the Survivor Series in 2002, which hailed from Madison Square Garden.

Cole: Yes indeed and in that match up Shawn had to defeat five other men in the first elimination chamber, where as tonight he has to defeat just three.

Lawler: Or two Michael Cole, John Cena has not yet been cleared to wrestle.

>>> The door of Shawn’s dressing room suddenly swings open and in walks Chris Jericho, looking cool, calm and collected. Shawn immediately jumps to his feet.

Shawn: What the hell do you want?

Jericho: Now that’s not a very friendly greeting is it now?

>>> Shawn is on edge; tense even, a total contrast to that of Jericho.

Shawn: Cut the crap Jericho and answer the question or else get the hell out of my dressing room before I kick you out.

***POP FROM WITHIN THE ARENA***

Jericho: You see you’re getting all bent out of shape for nothing old man. I simply came in here to wish you luck tonight because that’s what you’re going to need tonight to stand a chance at beating me Michael’s, luck and lots of it.

>>> Jericho’s calm demeanor changes in the blink of an eye. He appears more aggressive in his posture and tone of voice as he approaches Shawn, who looks ready to throw a punch.

Jericho: I also wanted to let you know that after tonight, when I’m announced the new world champion, I’ll be thinking of you and what I’m going to do to you on Raw tomorrow night. You see this thing between us Shawn, it’s not over and it will never be over until one of us is gone from the WWE for good. At the Great American Bash I came so close to achieving my goal and ending your pitiful career…

>>> Shawn raises his hand, silencing Jericho.

Shawn: This is not the time or the place. Tonight isn’t about how much we hate each other and how much we want to destroy each other, it’s about main eventing a WWW PPV and having the chance to become world champion one more time. But rest assured Chris, after tonight, when I’m announced as the new world champion …..

***HUGE CHEER***

Shawn: ……. I’ll be thinking about you too and pain I’m going to inflict on you every day of your life. This (points to the both of them) this isn’t over, not by a long shot, but as I said, tonight is about the world title, so get the hell out of here, get ready and bring you’re A game, because that’s what you gotta’ have to beat the icon, Shawn Michaels.

>>> Jericho stares into the eyes of his enemy, the man he wants to destroy and yet be all at the same time. He knows Shawn is right and in that moment, Jericho and Michael’s finally agree on something. Jericho turns and makes his exit; Michael’s watching his every step.

[Match 4] Big Show vs. MVP

**Crank It Up**

Tony Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, weighing in at 485 pounds, standing at 7 feet tall, he is from Tampa, Florida, THE BIG SHOW!

>>> Big Show makes his way down the ramp, towering over everything and everyone around him. He doesn’t bother to high five any of the fans despite the fact that he is face.

**I‘m Comin‘**

Tony Chimel: And his opponent, weighing in at 249 pounds, he is from Miami, Florida, Montel Vontavious Porter, MVP!

>>> MVP is very cautious when getting in the ring, realizing that its time to put up or shut up when he faces off against this much larger man.

JR: There you heard it folks, the only thing that MVP and Big Show have in common is their home state. Big Show out ways MVP by over 220 pounds!

Tazz: MVP has been ducking Big Show for weeks and now there is no where to run.

JR: That’s exactly how Big Show wants it but MVP is clever so I wouldn’t count him out just yet.

***Bell Rings***

As soon as the bell rings, Big Show comes after MVP, not wasting any time, wanting to get his hands on MVP after weeks of MVP ducking him and insulting him. Big Show tries to catch him in the corner but MVP slips under his arms. MVP quickly kicks at the back of the knees of Big Show, trying to take him down in the corner but Big Show is so hopped up on anger and frustration that MVP might as well be hitting him with a pillow. Big Show comes at MVP again but MVP ducks him a second time, this time trying to clip the back of Show’s knee but it barely does anything, with Big Show getting right back to both feet. MVP quickly climbs to the second rope and leaps off, looking for a axe handle but Show catches him around the throat and shoves him into the corner. Show gets right in his face and tells Montel “This is gunna hurt”. Show puts his index finger to his lips as he shushes the crowd. He then SLAPS The chest of MVP, making a very load slapping noise.

MVP’s mouth hands open in pain, looking like he wants to scream but there are no air in his lungs. Show SLAPS his chest again, making MVP run on the spot in utter pain as Big Show releases him from the corner. Show quickly bounces off the ropes as MVP tries to gather himself and walk out of the corner but by the time he knows what’s coming, Big Show is already upon him with a MASSSIVE clothesline! MVP gets turned inside out and Big Show wears a little smirk, being quite satisfied with his handy work and quite happy that he is finally getting to take his frustration out on MVP. MVP on the other hand, doesn’t look too happy as he uses the ropes to get to his feet. Show bounces off the opposite set of ropes and looks to clothesline MVP out of the ring but MVP thinks fast and pulls the ropes down, causing Big Show to tumble out of the ring.

MVP falls into the corner, finally getting a second to think and gather some air in his lungs. MVP realizes that this is his opportunity though so he quickly rolls out of the ring. MVP starts stomping away at Big Show, who is trying to get up. MVP keeps attacking him but he seems to be only a minor annoyance as Show swats him away like a fly. MVP gets right back on the attack though, but Show is already to his feet. MVP tries to hit Show with some rights but Show grabs the arm of MVP and tosses him into a barricade. Show quickly rolls into the ring, breaking the count which was now up to five. Show goes to the outside after MVP again but MVP delivers a thumb to the eye, staggering Big Show. MVP quickly rolls into the ring.

Big Show comes in under the bottom rope and MVP takes advantage of his opponent being on the ground, which is where he lives him. MVP starts to attack Show with everything he’s got, fists, boots, elbows, forearms, anything to keep the big man in a position where MVP can dominate. MVP’s once “minor annoyances” seem to be affecting Show now more then before as he slowly gets to his feet, while MVP is still attacking him. Show swats MVP away again but MVP once uses the push to bounce off the ropes and come back with a face breaker knee smash. Show doesn’t drop from this but rather stumbles backwards and falls when he hit’s the ropes, actually getting his arms tied up in the ropes in the process. MVP has a cocky, arrogant look on his face when he sees this. MVP gets right in Show’s face and says “You ain’t, nothing’, yah hear me?! You ain’t nothing’” MVP bounces off the ropes opposite to Show but the taunting seems to have pissed Show off as he frees his arms and grabs MVP around the throat.

Show head butts MVP, slamming his skull against Montel’s, but Big Show’s head is much bigger then MVP’s. MVP stumbles back into a corner and Show looks pleased with this as he walks into the opposite corner. Show charges at MVP and crushes him with a hip attack. MVP doubles over once Show steps away from him. MVP stumbles out of the corner as Big Show charges him, and NAILS him with a big boot. MVP drops like a pile of bricks as Big Show quickly goes for the cover.

MVP kicks out. Show looks a little disappointed as he kneels beside MVP. Show climbs to his feet before helping MVP get to his. Show drapes MVP’s arm over his neck and he puts his arm over MVP’s neck before he lifts him high into the air with a delayed vertical suplex. Show stands there for about five seconds, allowing all the blood to rush to MVP’s head. Show then drops MVP and MVP squirms in pain when he hit’s the ground, holding his back, after having just dropped from over 7 feet in the air. MVP rolls out of the ring before Show can get his hands on him again. MVP yells out “I’M DONE” before walking up the ramp. He only gets about halfway before Show turns him around and nails him with a stiff right hand. MVP drops, hitting the metal ramp with a slap and a thud. Show realizes that they could both be counted out of his he doesn’t hurry so he grabs MVP’s right arm and drags him down the ramp before lifting him up and rolling him into the ring and then getting in the ring himself, just as the ref reaches the count of eight.

MVP realizes that he isn’t getting away that easy so since he’s the first man into the ring, he quickly bounces off the ropes opposite to where Show is entering the ring. Big Show isn’t about to lose control of this match though as MVP leaps at him, looking for a forearm but Big Show catches him with a huge bear hug! MVP screams in pain right away, and the look on his face tells the story, he knows he’s in trouble. Show squeezes and rips at the back of MVP. The camera zooms in on Show’s face, showing just how much effort he’s putting into delivering pain to MVP. MVP looks to be fading away and he looks like he’s having trouble breathing, but who wouldn’t with a 500 pound, pissed off giant squeezing your body. MVP rests his head on Big Show’s shoulder like a small child, looking like he’s asleep from lack of air.

The ref lifts MVP’s arm up once….it drops. He lifts it up a second time…..it drops. Big Show wears a look of satisfaction on his face as he squeezes one more time, looking for the win right here. The ref lifts MVP’s arm up a third time and…..it dro- WAIT, NO, MVP still has life! He holds his arm high in the air before hitting Big Show in the temple, several times, causing Big Show to release the hold. MVP drops to the mat and does his best to catch his breath which Show stumbles to the ropes holding his head. Despite the fact that MVP hurt Big Show there, Big Show is till the one to go on the offence, lifting MVP to his feet. Show lifts MVP and drops him with a sidewalk slam! Show casually goes for the cover.

MVP kicks out! Big Show doesn’t look surprised but he seems to be getting a little annoyed. Big Show gets up and quickly puts MVP in position for a power bomb. He lifts him up and tries to drop him back but MVP lands on his feet! MVP quickly rebounds off the ropes and clips the leg of Big Show. Big Show is now starting to feel the pain in his right leg, which MVP has been working on for a little while. MVP sees a weak point and like a shark that smells blood in the water, he goes after it. MVP grabs the leg of Show and drops a few knees onto Show’s knee as Show cries out in pain, something that we haven’t really heard from Show in this match. MVP grabs the leg of Show again and pulls at it, trying to dislocate something or maybe pull a muscle. Show wriggles around in pain, trying to escape MVP’s assault on his leg.

Big Show kicks MVP away with his good leg and uses the ropes to get up before MVP can get back on the attack. MVP charges at Show trying to get to him before he regains his train of thought but MVP runs right into a big boot! Show uses his good leg to do this but standing on his bad leg alone seems to cause him pain. Show grabs MVP by the arm and places him close to a corner. Show then starts to climb to the second rope where he looks to hit the Vader Bomb but MVP roles out of the way and Big Show crashes and burns. MVP is quick to get on the attack, doing his best to drag Big Show out of the corner and then hooking Big Show’s bad leg with a single leg Boston crab. Big Show cries out in pain as he reaches for the ropes but MVP pulled him just far enough away so that he cant reach them.

Big Show scratches and claws at the mat, attempted to reach the ropes and without a whole lot of pulling, he does. The ref yells at MVP to break the hold but he isn’t going to release it until he absolutely has to. The ref counts to four and MVP finally breaks the hold but the damage is done and it shows as Big Show rolls around on the mat, holding his knee. MVP has a cocky and confident smirk on his face. He knows he’s got Big Show, he knows how to take the big man down now and he’s going to take full advantage of it. MVP rolls to the outside and grabs Show’s leg, doing his best to pull Show close to the ring post. MVP rips Show’s leg away from the post and then SLAMS HIS LEG INTO THE RING POST! Big Show screams in pain as MVP does it AGAIN! AND AGAIN! AND AGAIN! The pain looks to be too much for Show as he pulls himself away from the ring post and holds his knee before removing his knee bad, trying to relieve some of the pressure on his knee.

MVP gets back in the ring and helps Show to his feet only to KICK HIM IN THE KNEE CAP! Show drops face forward, almost landing on MVP but MVP moves out of the way at the last second. MVP tries to go after the knee again but the ref hold MVP back before bending down beside Show and asking him if he wants to keep going and Big Show can be heard yelling “Yes, yes, I want to keep going” to the ref. MVP can hear his opponents cries and he takes that as a slap in the face, realizing that he hasn’t done enough to hurt Show yet. MVP bounces off the ropes and swiftly kicks Show in the side of the knee. MVP grabs the leg of Show before he can roll away and he lifts it up and drops a elbow on it! He drops it again and again and again, trying to cripple the 500 pounder. MVP seems to get an idea as he grab Show by the leg and uses all his weight to pull Show over to the ropes. He places Show’s foot on the second rope before climbing over it. MVP jumps high into the air, using the ropes to push himself higher and tries to land on the leg of Show but Show moves his leg at the last moment.

Lucky for MVP he lands on his feet, unlucky for MVP, Show kicks him in the ass with his good foot, sending him threw the ropes, to the outside. Both men lay there for a moment, Show grabbing his knee and MVP trying to figure out what just happened. MVP is the first man to his feet and he gets in the ring right away, not wanting Show to recover any more. MVP oddly enough allows Show to get to his feet in the corner. But the crowd knows why, MVP charges at Show and nails him with the PLAYERS BOOT! Big Show looks like he’s knocked out on his feet as he stumbles out of the corner and drops in the middle of the ring. MVP goes up beside, bounces off the ropes, does a little dance, yells out “Ballin’” and drops the Ballin’ Elbow. For the first time in the match, MVP goes for the cover.

Big Show kicks out! MVP looks a little surprised and annoyed at first, but his face quickly turns to anger as he gets up. MVP yells to the crowd “This is it! Its over!” as he waits for Big Show to get to a knee. When he does, MVP goes off the ropes and looks for the DRIVE-BY KICK BUT SHOW GRABS HIM AROUND THE THROAT! MVP starts freaking out, realizing that he’s in deep shit and this is not the position he wants to be in. Big Show lifts MVP HIGH INTO THE AIR but MVP slides down to his back! MVP bounces off the ropes and CLIPS THE BAD LEG! Big Show drops to one knee and MVP bounces off the ropes behind him again and jumps on Big Show, knocking him onto his stomach. MVP quickly one of Show’s arms between his legs and APPLIES THE CRIPPLER CROSSFACE! MVP pulls and wrenches back on the face of Big Show, hurting his back, his face and his neck. You can see Show’s face behind MVP’s hands, he looks to be in excruciating pain.

Big Show puts his free hand in the air and shakes it around, looking for the ropes but he cant grab them, its looking like he’s going to tap out but he puts his knees under himself and is GETTING UP WITH MVP HOLDING ON! Big Show gets to his feet with MVP still applying the crossface! The look on MVP’s face is priceless, a look of disbelief and the crowd is cheering Big Show on as he turns it into a devastating SIDEWALK SLAM! Both MVP and Big Show lay there for a second, tired and hurt, especially Big Show but its looking like the tide is turning as Big Show for the first time in awhile is the first one to his feet.

Big Show rests against the ropes for a second before lifting his hand up in the air, signalling for the choke slam. MVP is slow to his feet but once he’s there he turns around and BIG SHOW WRAPS HIS HAND AROUND MVP’S THROAT! But MVP hits Big Show’s arm, forcing him to let go. MVP quickly kicks Big Show in the knee again, making him fall to one knee and the crowd boo’s MVP as he bounces off the ropes and looks for the DRIVE-BY KICK but SHOW CATHCES HIS FOOT! MVP looks worried as Big Show gets to his feet, still holding one of MVP’s feet. MVP goes for the dragon whip though but Big Show ducks it, making MVP land on his face. Big Show stands there behind MVP, stalking him, waiting for him to get to his feet and when he does, BIG SHOW LOCKS IN THE COBRA CLUTCH and looks for the backbreaker but MVP SITS OUT, driving Show’s chin into his shoulder. Big Show stumbles backwards into the ropes and bounces off them as MVP gets up, but this was a bad move for MVP as Show PLOWS INTO HIM WITH A GARGANTUIN SPEAR! The crowd is on their feet as Big Show falls into a cover.

***BELL RINGS***

The bell, like an alarm clock, awakens the Animal and he charges at Henry, who stands his ground in the centre of the ring. Both men lock up, Batista attempts to force the world’s strongest man back into the corner, but true to his name, Henry wraps his arms around the waist of Batista, hoists him into the air and throws him backwards onto the canvas. Batista lands on his knees. Henry slaps his chest and motions to Batista to get back up. Batista slowly rises back up to his feet, eyes locked on Mark Henry. With Batista up, Henry makes his move, launching himself across the ring at the Animal. Batista sidesteps the approaching monster and sends Henry into the corner with momentum. Mark Henry turns around and stumbles out of the corner. Batista goes for a slam, but he can’t get the big man up. Batista tries again, but this time Henry brings his forearm down across Batista’s back, forcing him to step away. Henry connects with a clothesline and Batista goes down….. The referee begins to count….

1.…………………

2.………………….

3.………………….

Mark Henry drops an elbow across the chest of The Animal, breaking the ten count. Out of instinct one would assume, Mark Henry goes for the cover. The referee shouts at him “no pin falls.” People in the ringside seats rise to their feet and give Henry abuse, claiming that he’s an idiot. Henry rolls under the bottom rope and walks to the timekeepers table. He pulls a WWE official off of his seat, throwing him to the ground. Batista is up to his feet in the ring and watches as Henry folds up a steel chair. Before Henry turns around to face the ring, Batista, who has climbed out to the floor, nails Henry with a forearm from behind, causing Henry to fall onto the timekeepers table. Batista continue to clobber Mark Henry with forearms to the back. Batista spots the steel chair that Mark Henry has dropped and he bends over and picks it up.

The WWE official that Henry assaulted earlier is up to his feet. Mark Henry turns. Batista raises the steel chair into the air and as he brings it down, Henry pulls the official in front of him. The WWE official takes the chair shot to the skull and goes down. Batista drops the chair and immediately checks on the official, clearly concerned. Mark Henry gathers himself and picks the steel chair up off of the floor, before sneaking up behind Batista. Henry raises the steel chair in the air and brings it down across the back of Batista. The referee is at the end of the steel ramp calling for help. Henry again lifts the steel chair in the hair and brings it down once again across Batista’s back. The Animal is now face down on the floor, inches away from the motionless WWE official. Paramedics come running down the ram, with a stretcher. The referee is tending to the injured official, yet Batista is down and out. Mark Henry grabs the referee by his shirt and drags him up to his feet. Henry points at Batista and demands that the referee start a ten count.

1………………….

2………………….

3…………………

Batista begins to move. The paramedics are tending to the unconscious WWE official. Henry is standing in front of the announce table, shouting at Batista to stay down.

4………………….

Henry’s calls are clearly falling on deaf ears as Batista continues his attempt to get back to his feet. The paramedics begin to lift the official onto the stretcher they have brought with them to ringside.

5………………….

6…………………..

Batista is up. The referee stops the ten count. Henry moves away from the announce table and knocks the two paramedics to the ground. Batista has stumbles toward the ring apron and is using it for balance. The referee stands between Batista and Mark Henry. With the paramedics down, Mark Henry grabs hold of the stretcher. The official, who is now strapped to the stretcher, starts to regain consciousness. With little regard for the official’s wellbeing, Mark Henry drives the stretcher forward. The referee dives out of the way and the stretcher crashes into the ribs of Batista. Henry backs up and again drives the stretcher into the ribs of Batista, this time with even more force, causing Batista’s lower back to be driven into the edge of the ring apron. Mark Henry walks around the stretcher and grabs Batista, locking his arms around Batista’s waist and lifting him into the air. With a full head of steam, Henry charges toward the ring post, driving Batista spine first into the merciless steel. Henry backs up and repeats the brutal action before releasing his grip and dropping Batista to floor. The paramedics have recovered and are now hurriedly making their exit, the WWE official still strapped to the stretcher, which is being pushed out in front of them as they scamper up the ramp.

1………………

The referee has once again begun to count Batista out of this match. Mark Henry has rolled into the ring and has his hands raised in the air, perhaps celebrating a little prematurely. The sold out crowd are split, with half of them choosing to boo Mark Henry, whilst the other half cheer Batista on. Henry for the most part has managed to shut the crowd out of this match, dominating from the start and giving the Batista fans in attendance very little to shout about. The referee is up to the count of five and Batista is still down and out. He continues to count………….

6…………………….

7……………………..

Batista finally manages to move and gets to one knee.

8……………………….

As Batista rises to his feet, Mark Henry, who has turned his back to his opponent, is continuing to celebrate and is unaware of what’s happening. The loud pop triggers a reaction and Henry turns round, clearly unhappy about the fact Batista is up on his feet as is now climbing the steel steps. Batista charges across the ring as Batista steps onto the apron. Henry swings a right hand, which The Animal manages to avoid. Batista then unloads with a solid right to the jaw of the world’s strongest man, who for the first time in the match, takes a step back and finds himself on the offensive. Batista steps between the ropes and back into the ring. He is favoring his lower back and walks slowly toward Henry, a little slouched over and perhaps unable to stand fully upright. Henry catches Batista with a knee to the midsection as he approaches and then scoops up the Animal and slams him to the mat. The enthusiastic and hopeful crowd is once again silenced by Henry’s brute force. Henry spots his opportunity and hits the ropes. As Mark comes off he dives, attempting to squash Batista, but the former world champion manages to rolls out of the way at the last moment.

Mark Henry hits the canvas with an almighty thud. Batista uses the ropes to drag himself back up to a vertical base. Henry is shaking off the cobwebs on the mat. Batista doesn’t give Henry time to recover and drops his right leg across the back of Mark Henry’s gigantic neck. As Batista gets to his feet, using the ring ropes for support, the referee begins to count Mark Henry out for the first time in this match up.

1…………………

2…………………….

As Batista gathers himself, he soon realizes that one leg drop is not going to be enough to keep a mammoth like Mark Henry down on the mat for the count of ten.

3……………………

4…………………….

Mark Henry is already beginning to stir. Batista steps out onto the apron and drops to the floor. He begins to look under the ring as the referee continues to count.

5……………………

6……………………

Mark Henry is back up to his feet. Batista pulls a trash can lid and then a trash can out from under the ring. This gets a cheer out of the crowd, which have been pretty quiet throughout the match up, mainly due to Mark Henry’s dominance. Mark spots Batista on the outside, but not the trash can by his feet. Henry walks to the ropes and sticks his upper body between the ropes and grabs Batista with both hands. The animal reaches down and latches onto the loose trash can lid and then smacks mark Henry in the face with it. Henry falls back into the ring but remains on his feet. Batista picks up the trash can and re-enters the ring. He takes the trash can and goes to places it over Mark Henry’s upper body, however once the rim of the trash can lands on Mark Henry’s shoulders, there is nowhere else for it to go. Mark Henry is simply to big. This gets a laugh from the crowd. Batista however is undeterred and decided to improvise. He kicks Henry in the stomach, forcing Henry to double over, trash can covering his face. Batista runs to the ropes and explodes, delivering a big boot to the trash can and driving it into the face of mark Henry who finally goes down, the trash can falling off of his head as he crashes to the canvas.

1………………….

2………………….

3……………………

Mark Henry appears to have been knocked out by the devastating blow. Batista however is taking no chances. As the referee continues to count, he retrieves a steel chair from the outside of the ring.

4…………………….

5………………………

Batista returns to the ring, steel chair in hand. Mark Henry is still down on the canvas. The referee continues to count the world’s strongest man out.

6……………………..

7………………………..

Mark begins to move and sits up. As the referee reaches the count of eight, Mark is one foot. The referee reaches the count of nine, it’s all over. NO. Mark Henry is up. Batista wastes no time in going after the big man. Batista, steel chair in hand strides toward Mark Henry, who spots the danger and drops to the canvas, rolling under the bottom rope and out to the floor. Henry however cannot escape the Animal, who steps to the outside and begins to stalk Mark Henry who is now standing at the end of the steel ramp way. Mark Henry turns. Batista is standing, waiting, steel chair held above his head. Batista brings the chair down across the skull of the world’s strongest man. Unbelievable Mark Henry is still standing. Batista drops the steel chair and takes three steps backward, and then he runs at Henry. SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! Batista spears Mark Henry onto the steel ramp.

1……………………

The referee begins his count, but Batista isn’t paying any attention. The animal latches onto the ring steps and lifts them into the air. The referee is up to the count of five and Mark Henry is beginning to get back to his feet.

6……………………….

7…………………………

Henry is up. Batista stands before him, ring steps held out in front of him. Without hesitation, Batista throws the ring steps, as if they he were throwing a javelin. The steps slam into the face of Mark Henry and he crashes back first against the steel ramp yet again. This matchup is a depiction in sheer brutality. Will this finally be enough to keep the big man down for the count of ten? The referee is already up to the count of four and is keeping Batista at bay…..

5……………………

To the surprise of many, Mark Henry begins to stir. What will it take to keep the big man down? Batista looks frustrated as he watches on.

6……………………….

7……………………….

8……………………….

Mark Henry is back up and the referee stops his count, resulting in the crowd booing him. Henry however is unsteady on his feet and stumbles up the ramp, possibly unsure as to where he actually is. Batista follows until both men are at the top of the ramp in front of the entrance way. Batista unloads with a right hand, causing the already unstable Henry to sway to and fro. Batista continues to unload with right hand after right hand until he has Mark Henry tethering on the edge of the stage, ten feet above floor level. Batista realizes what he must do. Henry is out of it, but still standing. Batista looks to the crowd, a wry smile etched across his face. They come to their feet as the Animal slowly backs away from Henry. They seem to know what’s coming. Batista runs toward Henry….

SPEAR OFF THE EDGE OF THE STAGE!!!!!

HUGE POP!!!

Both men go crashing through a black velvet covered platform to the side of the stage. Both men are out of it. The referee looks on horrified and begins to count from the top of the stage, looking down at the carnage below him.

1…………………

2……………………

3…………………..

4……………………

5…………………….

Finally both men begins to move, then crawl through the debris as the referee continues to count.

6…………………….

7……………………….

8…………………………

Batista and Henry both attempt to stand up.

9………………………

Henry collapses back down to the floor. Batista stands upright.

>>> The crowd is cheering. Batista falls against the side of the stage, desperately trying to stay on his feet. He is breathing heavily. Mark Henry is lying motionless, just a few feet in front of him.

Lillian: The winner of this match and the last man standing, The Animal, Batista.

*HUGE POP*

Cole: Batista has done what many said was impossible, he beat Mark Henry in a last man standing match. What a match up. I’m surprised Batista is even walking right now.

Lawler: Neither man can ever be the same again after this one. It was carnage Michael. They tried to destroy each other.

Cole: You have to hand it to both men. Mark Henry put up on hell of a fight, but it just wasn’t enough to overcome the former world champion here tonight at No Mercy.

>>> Shot of Batista standing on the stage, the referee has his hand raised in the air as his music begins to play.

[Backstage]

>>> Eve Torres is backstage standing next to Jeff Hardy in the interview area.

Eve: I’m here with the #1 Contender for the WWE Title, Jeff Hardy! Jeff, what are your thoughts on your WWE Title match against Triple H later tonight?

Jeff: Let me tell you something about Triple H, he walks around here and talks about how he’s the best there is today and how he’s the game, you know what I have to say to that!? Its all true. Triple H is the best there is today and that’s why when I get in the ring with him tonight I’m going to give him everything I have and more because even though Triple H is the best, I’m better.

Eve: And what do you think about Triple H not exactly having his eyes locked on you 100% going into the title match?

Jeff: I know Brock and Umaga have caused Hunter some trouble, they’ve caused me trouble too but it doesn’t matter, they’re not here and tonight, everything comes down to me and Triple H. He might not have been concentrating on me but when we get in that ring together and stand face-to-face, toe-to-toe I will slap him in the face and tell him that I’m here and I’m taking the WWE Championship!

Jeff Hardy walks away looking pumped up and ready for the biggest match of his life.

>>> Maria is standing by with a mic close to her face.

Maria: I’m here with the WWE Champion, Triple H. Triple H, what are your thoughts on facing Jeff Hardy for the WWE Title tonight?

>>> Triple H takes a second to gather his thoughts.

Triple H: I…am the Game, Maria, do you understand that?

*Maria nods*

Triple H: Do you know what that means?

>>> Hunter starts to talk again before Maria can do anything.

Triple H: It means I am the best in the business today. And this..

>>> Triple H lifts the WWE Title up off his shoulder.

Triple H: …Proves it. Now Jeff Hardy is good, he’s real good but like I said, I’m the best and when all is said and done and the smoke has cleared I will STILL have this around my waist….to prove it.

Maria: Some people are saying that you haven’t been concentrating on Jeff Hardy, that you’ve been distracted by Brock Lesnar and Umaga. What do you have to say about that?

Triple H: I’ll admit, I haven’t exactly had my sights locked on Jeff Hardy going into the title match but when you’ve been in the business as long as I have, you always keep your opponent in the corner of your eye because if you don’t…. That’s when you lose. No more questions.

>>> Triple H walks out of the shot and the camera turns to see him walking towards the entrance area, looking ready to take on his latest challenger.

***Bell Rings***

Both Triple H and Jeff Hardy don’t move for a moment after the bell rings but they then both take a step into the middle of the ring, face to face. Triple H offers Jeff and handshake and Jeff accepts, showing some good sportsmanship but before they can even let go of each others hands, JEFF HARDY SLAPS TRIPLE H ACROSS THE FACE. Triple H almost gets knocked off his feet, being caught off guard more then anything. He holds the side of his face, with a look of utter disbelief on his face. Jeff Hardy can be heard saying “I’m here and I’m taking the WWE Title”. Triple H’s facial expression quickly turns from disbelief to anger as he goes for a clothesline on Hardy but Hardy ducks it.

Jeff quickly fires away at Triple H with some right hands, forcing him to the ropes where Hardy then shoots Hunter off the ropes. Jeff bends down in the middle of the ring, waiting for Hunter to return but Triple H swiftly kicks Hardy in the shoulder. Hardy’s face tells the story of pain that just shot threw his shoulder. Triple H goes for a clothesline again and this time, takes Hardy’s head off, sending him to the mat with authority. Triple H, still angry from the slap to the face, quickly pounces on Hardy and knocks some sense into him with a few huge overhand punches. Triple H gets up slowly, helping Hardy to his feet as well.

Triple H quickly shoots Hardy into a corner and then follows up with a big clothesline, almost dropping Hardy but Jeff stays standing. Triple H shoots him into the opposite corner and tries for another corner clothesline HARDY GOES FOR THE WHISPER IN THE WIND EARLY but Triple H is too quick and he hit’s the right leg of Hardy, DROPPING HIM INTO THE TREE OF WOE! Triple H wears a little smirk on his face as he looks at Hardy struggle to get free from the top rope but to no avail. Triple H slowly walks over to Hardy and stomps on his head several times before releasing him from the tree of woe.

Triple H helps Hardy up in the corner before shooting him into the opposite corner again but this time, Hardy reverses it and send Triple H running into the corner. Hardy isn’t far behind and he nails Triple H with a clothesline of his own, dropping Hunter in the corner. Hardy steps back a little before charging at Triple H and looking for the rope aided dropkick but The Game moves at the last moment and Hardy drops to the mat, kicking nothing but turnbuckle. The King Of Kings quickly grabs Hardy at an arm and drags him into the middle of the ring. Triple H then bounces off the ropes and looks for a big knee drop but Hardy moves at the last moment and Triple H plants his knee into the solid canvas. Triple H stumbles to both feet having clearly hurt his knee but he tries not to show it as he charges at Hardy, looking for a clothesline but Hardy ducks it.

Hardy kicks The Champion in the gut, doubling him over, Hardy GOES FOR THE TWIST OF FATE but Triple H pushes him off into the ropes when Jeff turns. Jeff bounces chest first into the ropes and goes backwards into a ROLL UP FROM HUNTER!

Hardy kicked out. Jeff looks a little surprised, having been caught off guard by Triple H trying to end the match so early. Triple H isn’t bothered by the kick out at all, not really expecting to get the win there, more or less just showing Hardy that it can be over at any time. Both men are slow to their feat, not because they are tired but because they are cautious. They both step toward each other and collide into a lock up. Triple H takes advantage of his size and power as he forces Hardy to the ropes. Hardy isn’t going to be bullied though as he knees Triple H in the gut, doubling him over and causing him to stumble backwards. Triple H charges at Hardy, looking to clothesline him out of the ring but Hardy drops down and pulls the ropes, sending The Game tumbling to the outside. Hardy gets up and plays to the crowd, clapping, getting them to clap.

Triple H then gets up on the outside but Hardy was waiting for that as he charges at Triple H and nails him in the face with a baseball slide, putting him back on the ground. Jeff is still in the ring and is waiting for Hunter to get back to his feet, once he does, Hardy goes over the top rope and lands on The Game with a plancha. Both men lay there on the outside, Hardy with a smirk on his face and Triple H with a look of frustration. Hardy is the first to his feet and he helps Triple H up. Triple H elbows Hardy in the midsection, taking control of him. Triple H takes Hardy to the barricade and slams his face off of it. Triple H takes a step backwards before charging at Hardy and clotheslining him over the barricade and into the crowd. Triple H notices that the ref is counting so he rolls in the ring and then he rolls right back out, breaking the refs count.

Hardy is now to his feet and Triple H drapes his arm over his neck and does the same with his arm and Hardy’s neck. Triple H SUPLEXS HARDY OVER THE BARRICADE! Hardy cries out in pain as he rolls around on the thin padding, holding his back and selling the move like crazy. Triple H breaks the count again before going right back after Hardy, lifting him to his feet and then trying to send him shoulder first into the steel steps but Hardy turns the move on him and sends Triple H knees first into the steel steps, causing him to flip over them. Triple H lays there, holding his knees but he isn’t giving up that easy as he starts to get to his feet. Hardy waits for the right moment and then charges at the steel steps and jumps off them and nails Hunter with a flying clothesline. Both men lay at the bottom of the entrance ramp and Jeff is the first to his feet as he stumbles to the curve in the barricades.

One Triple H is to his feet, Jeff climbs the barricade, runs across it and leaps at Triple H, hitting a second diving clothesline. Jeff is slower to his feet this time after landing on the concrete but he is still the first to his feet after a few moments of rest. Jeff notices that referees count and he rolls Triple H into the ring, following him close behind of course. Once Hardy is to his feet in the ring, Triple H is already going off the ropes opposite to where he and Hardy entered the ring just a few short seconds ago. Triple H quickly wraps an arm around Hardy’s neck, snapping in a sleeper hold.

Hardy starts fighting right away, trying to get free from The Game’s grip before its too late but to no avail, Triple H is too strong and he has it synched in. Hardy quickly starts to fade, dropping to one knee and it isn’t long after that until he is down on both knees. Triple H doesn’t stop there though as he rips at the neck of Hardy, trying to put Hardy to sleep faster. Hardy falls to his stomach and Triple H goes to the side of him, still applying the sleeper. The referee lifts the right arm of Jeff Hardy and drops it. He lifts the arm again and it drops. He lifts it up the third and final time and HARDY STILL HAS LIFE IN HIM! The crowd is clapping, trying to get Hardy into it and it seems to be working as Hardy fights to one knee, then to his feet. He then elbows Triple H in the midsection, once, twice, three times until Triple H releases the hold.

Hardy then sends Triple H into the ropes but Hunter SNAPS in the sleep once again! Hardy isn’t about to let himself come that close to losing again and he acts fast this time, quickly forcing Hunter to release the hold with a back body drop. Both men lay there in the middle of the ring, Triple H holding his back and Jeff Hardy just trying to breath. Triple H is a little quicker to his feet this time, getting up just before Jeff Hardy. Hunter takes a swing at Hardy but Jeff ducks it. Jeff quickly snaps Hunter in the face with a right but Triple H fires back with a stiff punch of his own. Jeff hits Hunter, Hunter hits Jeff, Jeff fires back but Hunter retaliates with another shot, Hunter, Jeff, Hunter, Jeff, Hunter Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff starts to take control before sending Triple H into the ropes.

Jeff tries to kick Triple H in the midsection on his way back but The Game catches Jeff’s leg. Before Triple H can do anything with the leg, Jeff quickly nails Hunter in the face with a mule kick, rocking The King Of Kings and sending him stumbling into a corner, before falling into a seated position in said corner. Jeff charges Triple H and is too quick for Hunter to move, this time planting both of his feet firmly in the face of the game with a rope aided drop kick. Jeff quickly grabs Triple H’s right leg and drags him away from the ropes, where he then hooks a leg and goes for the pinfall.

Triple H kicks out. Its going to take more than that to put away the Cerebral Assassins and the look on Jeff’s face explains that he knows that. Jeff gets up and then sends Hunter into a corner. He climbs to the second rope and proceeds to drive a few fists into the face of Triple H as the crowd yells out the number of punches Hardy is at. Once Hardy makes it to nine, he looks out to the crowd, yells out “Hardy” and goes to drive his fist into The Game’s face one last time but Triple H has other plans as he quickly plants Jeff with a elevated SPINEBUSTER! Triple H quickly crawls to the cover, hooking a leg.

Jeff Hardy kicks out. Triple H looks a little surprised but he doesn’t let it faze him as he gets to his feet. Triple H gets up and then helps Jeff get to his feet. Hunter gives him a strong kick the mid-section, doubling Jeff over. Triple H then shoves Jeff’s head in between his legs and lifts up both arms, looking for the Pedigree and the end of this match but Jeff isn’t going to just let him hit the move and he tries to pull away but The Game wont let go of his arms. Jeff pulls the ropes and quickly FLIPS THE GAME OVER THE ROPES! Triple H smacks the mats far below. Hardy takes a second to catch his breath but then realizes that Triple H is already stirring. No rest for the wicked as Jeff quickly bounces off the ropes opposite to where Hunter is and looks for another baseball slide but Triple H is waiting this time and he grabs the legs of Hardy and pulls him out of the ring, dropping him in the mat.

Hunter tries to help Jeff up but Jeff nails him with a right to the face, catching Triple H off guard and causing him to stumble to the ring post, which he stands against. Jeff is quick to his feet and even quicker to charge at Triple H but Hunter is just too fast for Hardy on this occasion as he moves out of the way and pushes Hardy into the ring post face first at the same time. The ref obviously doesn’t like this, screaming at Triple H that he will DQ him. Triple H doesn’t listen as he walks over to the announce tables and starts to dismantle the Smackdown announce table, throwing the monitors to the floor. The ref is now on the outside of the ring, trying to get it threw Triple H’s head that he will disqualify him if he puts Jeff threw the table.

Triple H looks at the ref for a second but that second proves to be costly as as soon as Triple H turns back to Jeff, Jeff is already on the move towards him. Jeff leaps at Hunter, taking him down onto the announce table with a Lou Thesz Press. Jeff hails down right hands on Triple H and lucky for them the announce table doesn’t break. They both slide off the announce table after a second and into the area where the announcers sit. Jeff is still hitting Triple H who is trying to hit Jeff but Jeff is hitting him so rapidly and with such force that there isn’t much Hunter can do. The ref finally pulls Jeff off of Triple H and gives him a stern warning about the possibility of a disqualification. Jeff heads this warning as he rolls into the ring. The ref also gets into the ring and starts to count Triple H out.

You can now see all of Hunter’s upper body above the announce table. He slowly climbs onto the table and then rolls off of it on the other side. Hardy knows that he cant win the title by countout so he rolls out of the ring, breaking the count just as the referee reaches five. Hardy helps Triple H up off of his hands and knees and rolls him into the ring. Jeff quickly follows and then goes for a cover.

But the opportunity has passed and in the time it took Hunter to get into the ring, he regained his strength as he kicks out. Hardy gets Hunter to stand up before snapping him with a right hand and then bouncing him off the ropes but Triple H reverses, sending Jeff running into the opposite set of ropes. Jeff comes back with a clothesline, which doesn’t keep Triple H down long as he hops right back up into another clothesline, he gets up again and gets another quick clothesline for his troubles. He gets up and Jeff drops him with a Russian Legsweep and then he lifts Triple H’s legs over his head and leg drops them, putting Triple H in a pinning position.

Triple H kicks out. Triple H gets to his feet and Jeff is waiting when he does and quickly hits Triple H with a sitout jawbreaker, putting Triple H in a seated position mid-ring. Hardy goes off the ropes and comes back with a dropkick to the face of Triple H. Jeff quickly goes for another cover.

Triple H kicks out. Jeff looks like he’s getting a little frustrated with The Game as he gets to his feet and takes a second to think. Jeff violently pulls Hunter to his feet and fights him into a corner with stiff forearms. Hardy then turns to his feet as he starts to repeatedly kick Triple H in the stomach before whipping him into the opposite corner. Jeff charges at him and starts to attack him with forearms again, now getting a little frustrated with Triple H and having no problem taking his anger out on the champ. Hunter finally gets in a shot of his own and he makes the most of it, putting enough power into the punch to cause Jeff to stumble backwards. Triple H quickly charges at Hardy, looking for a clothesline but Jeff takes the legs out from under Triple H and then delivers a leg drop the head of him.

Jeff gets up and grabs the legs of Triple H before catapulting him into the top turnbuckle face first. Triple H looks like he’s stunned as he stumbles back towards the middle of the ring but he throws all his body weight into one clothesline which TAKES THE HEAD OFF OF HARDY! He doesn’t bother to go for a cover but rather takes the time to catch his breath. He grabs Hardy by an arm and drags him close a corner where he drops a knee onto the back of the head of Jeff Hardy. He drops several knees actually, trying to cause some serious damage to Jeff. The ref is trying to get Hunter to stop with the vicious knees and Triple H complies.

Jeff scurries to his feet in the corner but Triple H charges at him and crushes Jeff with a clothesline. Before Jeff can fall into a seated position, Triple H grabs him by the arm and whips him into the opposite corner with all his might, throwing Jeff so hard that he actually falls while whipping Jeff. Jeff nails the turnbuckle and bounces right out of it. Triple H pushes Hardy into the corner again and then violently whips him into the opposite corner again. Triple H goes for a cover.

Jeff Hardy kicks out! Triple H gets Jeff to his feet and whips him off the ropes and then uses the momentum to lift Jeff up and drop Jeff on his knee with a brutal backbreaker. Triple H doesn’t bother to go for the cover this time, wanting to be sure that he has the pin. He helps Jeff to his feet but Jeff returns the favour with an elbow to the mid-section of The Game. Jeff quickly goes off the ropes but Triple H gets a little payback and knees Jeff in the midsection before locking in an abdominal stretch. Jeff cries out in pain as Triple H pulls at Jeff’s arm and uses his free arm to elbow the ribs of Jeff Hardy. Triple H pulls at the arm every few seconds, causing more pain and inflicting more damage. Jeff tries to fight out and the crowd cheers him on as he rocks his body, trying to release some tension. Jeff finally gets his arm free and starts to elbow the head of Triple H, forcing him to release the hold.

Jeff wants to put this away before Triple H can lock him in another hold like that and he goes for the move that could do it with a kick the to the gut and a front facelock, Jeff Hardy goes for the Twist Of Fate. Once Jeff turns around, Triple H gets his head free and delivers a brutal clothesline to the back of Jeff’s head, putting him to the mat with authority. Triple H pulls a move that he doesn’t do often out of his arsenal as he locks in the CRIPPLER CROSSFACE! Jeff screams in pain as Hunter pulls back on his face, wrenching his neck and back. Jeff teases a tap out with his free arm as he waives it in the air. Jeff doesn’t want to be in this hold any longer then he has to and that’s why he reaches for the ropes but he cant get to them, he’s in the middle of the ring.

Jeff is desperate, desperate to get out of this submission hold and out of desperation, he tucks his free arm under his body and uses it to push off and roll over himself and Triple H, putting Triple H on his shoulders.

Triple H lets go and therefore gets out of the pining predicament. Jeff is clearly in a lot of pain as he holds his back rather then getting up and going on the offence like he usually would. Triple H released the hold but its obvious that the damage is done. Triple H on the other hand is on his feet and ready to continue to onslaught. He puts Jeff on his feet and whips him into the ropes and then looks for the high knee striker but Jeff dodges it and Triple H drives his knee into the face OF THE REFEREE! The ref drops to the mat like a pile of bricks and is clearly in no condition to be calling this WWE Title match.

Triple H isn’t going to let that stop him though as he goes back after Jeff Hardy who is standing at the ropes. Hunter charges at Jeff and clotheslines him out of the ring, falling out of the ring himself as well. Hunter gets himself and Jeff to their feet quickly and takes Jeff over to the announce table he cleared off earlier. Hunter SLAMS Jeff’s face into the table and then he SLAMS his face into it again. Hunter rolls Jeff onto the table and then gets on the table himself. He quickly sets Jeff up for the Pedigree as the crowd goes wild. Jeff Hardy has other plans though as he gets out of it, kicks Hunter in the gut and NAILS THE TWIST OF FATE THREW THE ANNOUNCE TABLE! The table collapses under the force of the move and both men lay there battered and broken.

The crowd is on their feet from the exciting move but the same cane be said for Hardy or Hunter, who both lay there, trying to catch their breath and trying to sooth the pain. After several seconds, Jeff Hardy is the first man to show signs of life, using the other announce table to get to his feet. Jeff doesn’t bother to help Hunter to his feet, but rather rolls into the ring and lays there, trying to regain some energy. Triple H gets up not long after that and stumbles into the ring, still weak from the move he just took. Hardy gets up once he notices Triple H is getting up and they start to slug it out mid ring, both men hitting and receiving their fair share of right hands. Neither man is budging, neither man is gaining any ground as they stand there, fighting for their hopes and dreams and the most valuable prize in this business, the WWE Championship.

**VIRTUAL VOODOO**

WHATS THIS?! UMAGA!? The man that the winner of this match will face this coming Friday for the WWE Championship is making his way to the ring!? But why!? Umaga and Armando Estrada make their way to the ring and Armando instructs Umaga to destroy Jeff and Triple H. Umaga climbs into the ring and puts them both down with a clothesline for each of them. He grabs Jeff Hardy and literally tosses him into a corner. He steps back, charges and CRUSHES JEFF WITH THE SAMOAN WRECKING BALL! He then directs his attention to Triple H, who is getting up. Umaga walks over to him, grabs him around the throat and PLUNGES HIS THUMB INTO THE NECK OF TRIPLE H WITH THE SAMOAN SPIKE!

Umaga looks to Jeff Hardy again and the gargantuan animal known as Umaga barrels over to Jeff Hardy. He picks Hardy up and puts him back on the ground with authority with a SAMOAN DROP! Umaga then looks like he’s about to climb to the top rope but all of a sudden…

**LIVE FOR THE MOMENT**

MATT HARDY SPRINTS TO THE RING WITH A STEEL CHAIR IN HAND! Umaga stands his ground in the middle of the ring, not afraid of Hardy whatsoever but rather, ready to take him down. Hardy slides into the ring and NAILS Umaga over the head with the steel chair. It doesn’t faze Umaga. He SLAMS the chair over his head again but Umaga only stumbles. Matt Hardy swings the chair and SMACKS it over the head of Umaga but he only stumbles backwards a couple of feet. Matt winds up again and SMOKES Umaga over the head with the steel chair again but it only seems to piss Umaga off. Matt Hardy throws the chair high above his head one more time and tries to hit Umaga again but Umaga dodges the chair at the last possible second and the man who was just about to jump Umaga from behind, Matt’s brother, Jeff, gets the CHAIR WRAPPED AROUND HIS HEAD!!!! Matt Hardy is in disbelief of what he just did and Umaga takes advantage of Matt’s confusion, tackling him to the ground and mauling him with forearms.

Matt desperately tries to get away and he does, rolling out of the ring but Umaga is EXTREMLY pissed off now and chases after Matt, catching up to him almost right away. Matt Hardy, not one to run, starts to fight back, hitting Umaga with rights and lefts, everything he’s got. They fight to the back and threw the curtain, out of our view. In the ring Triple H lifts Jeff Hardy to his feet, puts Jeff’s head between his legs, lifts one of Jeff’s arms, lifts Jeff’s other arm and then PLANTS HIM TO THE GROUND WITH A DEVASTATING PEDIGREE! Luck must be on Triple H’s side tonight because just as he falls into a cover, the ref slowly starts to crawl towards him and makes the count as best he can, which is pretty slow right now.

[Winner- Triple H @ 21:34]

>>> The ref, who can barely move himself, slowly gets to his feet and retrieves the WWE Title before handing it to Triple H, who is still laying on the canvas. Triple H doesn’t really know what happened but he is WWE Champion and that’s all that matters to him. Triple H holds the title up and stares at it for a second before getting on his knees and holding the title high above his head, showing it to the world. He then puts it over his right shoulder. He slowly stumbles over to a turnbuckle and raises the title up as he poses for the crowd. The crowd is giving a mixed reaction, most people happy that Hunter retained but other not happy with how he retained, even if he didn’t know what happened.. Jeff Hardy is still out cold as he lays in the middle of the ring. Triple H poses on the other three turnbuckles before getting out of the ring and stumbling up the ramp with the title draped over his shoulder. A hard fought victory, even if the win was tainted.

JR: Dammit! That was one hell of a match but Umaga had to ruin it!

Tazz: That was one hell of a match but I just wish it didn’t end that way.

JR: I wish it didn’t either but we still got one heck of a match up until the point when Umaga came out.

Tazz: Triple H is STILL our WWE Champion. What a match.
JR: I don’t know what Jeff is going to say when he wakes up. There was already tension between Matt and Jeff before this happened and now Matt just cost Jeff the WWE Title.

Tazz: But Matt didn’t hit Jeff with the chair on purpose….did he?

[PROMO]

>>> A ninty second promo airs for WrestleMnia 25. In the promo we are shown images from the past twenty four WrestleMania events, including Hulk Hogan slamming Andrea the Giant at WrestleMania 3.

[ARENA LIVE]

>>> Shot of Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler, seated behind the announce table. Both men look extremely serious. This is also being show on the big screen.

Cole: Ladies and gentlemen, I have just received word from the back that John Cena, who is in the building, has not been cleared to wrestle in the upcoming world title match up.

***MAJOR HEAT***

>>> The camera takes in a shot of some dejected John Cena fans in the crowd, mostly kids. The on air shot then moves back to the announce position.

Lawler: We all knew coming into No Mercy tonight that John Cena was not at one hundred percent, but we had hoped that he was fit enough to compete in the main event. What a shame.

Cole: Obviously the doctors in the back felt that it was in Cena’s best interest not to compete here tonight.

Lawler: I’m sure John Cena doesn’t see it that way.

Cole: A tough break for John Cena, but the show must go on. We are just moments away from our main event, which will now be a triple threat match up for the world title. CM Punk has got to be please with the announcement that John Cena will not compete here tonight, but the odds are still very much stacked against the champion. Can Chris Jericho or Shawn Michaels………..

***THE TIME IS NOW***

***ALMIGHTY POP***

Lawler: What the hell?

>>> John Cena storms out onto the entrance stage, dressed in his standard wrestling attire, surrounded by WWE officials and members of the arena security team. Cena heads toward the ring as the crowd come to their feet. Cena looks determined, his characteristic smile noticeably missing.

Cole: We need some clarification here. Is John Cena going to compete in the main event or isn’t he?

Lawler: well he’s standing in the middle of the ring and from where I’m sitting, he looks ready to go.

>>> Cena is shouting at the group of men that surround him, telling them to get the hell out of the ring. Lillian Garcia, who was preparing to introduce the main event competitors, looks uncertain as Cena approaches her. He grabs the microphone out of Lillian’s hand.

Cena: Lillian, introduce me…

>>> Cena hands the microphone back to Lillian, who seems unsure as to what to do. As she raises the microphone to her mouth, a familiar voice cuts through the air.

“EXCUSE ME”

***MAJOR HEAT***

>>> The Raw general manager walks out onto the stage, microphone in hand. Vickie doesn’t look best pleased as she throws Cena a scornful look. The capacity crowd are giving Vickie hell, but she appears to be unfazed by it all.

Vickie: I said, excuse me…

***MORE HEAT***

Vickie: John Cena, you have not been medically cleared to wrestle here tonight and therefore I am ordering you to step out of the ring and leave the arena.

Cena: You g’onna make me leave Vickie, are you? Huh?

Vickie: I’m the general manager of Raw and what I say goes and I’m telling you to get out of my ring this instant.

Cena: I came here tonight to get back what’s rightfully mine, the world heavyweight title and I’m not leaving this ring until that title belt is around my waist.

*POP*

Vickie: Then you leave me choice. Security, please escort Mr Cena out of the ring.

*BOOS*

>>> The security team begin to circle a cagy John Cena. The WWE officials stand to one side. As two of the officials approach, Cena explodes, unloading with right hands, knocking both men to the ground. Two more members of the security team approach Cena and they to suffer a similar fate. The rest of the men decide that they want no part of John Cena and quickly exit the ring. The crowd begin a “Cena” chant and Vickie Guerrero is fuming as she looks on from the stage. The officials and security team walks up the steel ramp and brush past Vickie, who is screaming at them as they head backstage, leaving Vickie alone in the arena with Cena and sixteen thousand fans who are cheering his name.

Vickie: If you don’t get the hell out of that ring right now, I’m going to fire your ass.

***Major Heat***

>>> Cena has no response to Vickie’s threat; he just stares at her with hate filled eyes. A smile spreads across Vickie’s face, she knows she has won. Cena cannot become world champion if he is no longer a part of the WWE.

Vickie: That’s what I thought… You have sixty seconds….

>>> Vickie turns and makes her exit.

***BOOS***

Lawler: I don’t agree with John Cena’s actions here tonight, but you have to feel for him. I mean the guy is the focus of a hit and run, gets himself back in fighting shape and has an opportunity to win back the world title, only to be told he’s not a loud to compete here tonight!

Cole: Vickie Guerrero has given Cena sixty seconds to clear the ring or face being fired. However these fans are pleading with Cena to stay…

***I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD***

***HUGE POP***

Cole: It can’t be…

>>> Randy Orton steps out onto the stage.

Lawler: It is, it’s him. Randy Orton is here Michael.

Cole: But why?

>>> Orton is dressed in casual attire, Jeans and a t-shirt. He’s eerily calm. Cena looks on, questioning Orton’s motives. The fans, having not seen Orton in over three month are on their feet, welcoming him back with open arms, forgiving his past discretions.

Lawler: These people are on their feet, my God, it’s deafening.

Cole: Have they forgotten who Randy Orton is? What Randy Orton has done in the course of his WWE career?

Orton: I have come here tonight to deliver a message to you John Cena, a message of upmost importance. You see John; I have watched you and those around you during my rehabilitation. Every Monday night I sat in front of the TV and tuned into Monday night raw, just like everybody else here in this arena tonight. I saw what happened to you, but what’s more, I know why it happened to you. I know who the mystery attacker is. The mystery man this company has failed to hunt down and there’s a good reason for that. The powers that be, they know who’s been behind it all along, I can sense it and that’s why, when I discovered the truth, I could not keep it to myself. I had to tell you John, I had to tell the WWE universe.

***POP***

Cena: I hate you…

***Laughs***

Cena: I don’t believe a word that comes out of your mouth. Never have, never will. I like everyone else here tonight now suspect you Randy, you’ve made yourself the prime suspect because we all know how sick and twisted you are. Come to think of it, if anyone wanted me out of the WWE it was you.

Orton: You think in my coming here tonight that I didn’t know that. That I didn’t think you’d suspect me. The thing is John, there’s one person in the WWE who wanted you out of the picture more than I did, and not only do I know who that person is, I have proof of his guilt.

Cena: Then give me the name……..

Orton: BATISTA!!!

***SHOCK…SILENCE…DISBELIEF***

Orton: and tomorrow night, I’m going to prove it!

***I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD***

>>> Orton, a big smile on his face as he turns to leave, as suddenly and as shockingly as he arrived. Cena is in shock, rooted to the same spot in the ring.

Lawler: No way! It can’t be.

Cole: Batista, could it be? Randy Orton says he has proof!

Lawler: In Twenty four hours I guess we’ll find out. Monday night Raw tomorrow on USA, you really can’t afford to miss it!

>>> Cena steps out of the ring, he heads up the steel ramp still in total shock. Could Randy Orton be telling the truth and if he is, then why?

[PROMO]

>>> A double video promo airs. The first hypes the Saturday Night Main Event show show on November 1st, which will air live on NBC from MSG in New York City. The second video hypes the Survivor Series PPV on November 23rd which returns to Boston. The commercial hints heavily at the possibility of a brand war.

[MATCH #7] WORLD TM - CM PUNK VS CHRIS JERICHO VS SHAWN MICHAELS –

Lillian: The following contest, schedules for one fall, is the triple threat match up for the world heavyweight championship.

*Big Pop*

***THE FIRE BURNS***

Cole: Here comes the champion.

*Heat*

>>> CM Punk emerges through the curtain, world title belt strapped around his waist. He looks relaxed as he heads toward the ring.

Lillian: Making his way to the ring, from Chicago Illinois, weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds, he is the reigning world heavyweight champion, CM Punk!

*Mixed reaction*

Lawler: It looks like CM Punk has alienated every member of the WWE universe after all.

Cole: CM Punk is a great athlete, but unfortunately he’s also a lousy human being.

>>> The champion enters the ring and takes the world title from around his waist, kisses it and hands it over to the referee. Punk takes off his shirts and turns to face the entrance way, awaiting his opponents.

***BREAK THE WALLS DOWN***

*Boos*

>>> Jericho emerges onto the stage with a familiar smug expression on his face.

Lillian: Making his way to the ring, from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, weighing in at two hundred and thirty six pounds, Chris Jericho.

*Loud you suck chants*

>>> Jericho ignores the negative reaction, but can resist bad mouthing two fans near the ring steps. Jericho enters the ring and locks eyes with Punk, who smiles, undaunted by the task at hand.

Cole: Chris Jericho one would have to assume is very confident going into this match up. Jericho is the favorite in a lot of people’s books for two reasons. Shawn Michael’s it is rumored is not at one hundred percent and the champion has never has to defend his title in a triple threat match. In fact Punk has never competed in a triple threat match here in the WWE.

Lawler: The odds continue to slide in the favor of the challengers, not the champion CM Punk here at No mercy.

***SEXY BOY***

*Huge Pop*

>>> Shawn Michaels appears to a almighty roar from the crowd. Shawn has a huge smile on his face and he strikes a pose, causing Pyro to explode in his wake.

Cole: It’s been nearly six years since Shawn Michael’s called himself world champion. Is tonight the night that Shawn Michael’s finally recaptures the world title?

Lawler: If anyone could do it, it would be Shawn Michaels.

Lillian: making his way to the ring, from San Antonio Texas, weighing in at two hundred and twenty five pounds, the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels.

*Another huge pop*

>>> All three men pick and corner and move into it. Lillian exits the ring.

Cole: The time is now. We are live, this is the WWE on PPV and we’re set for our main event of the night. Who’s going to leave here tonight as the world champion? We’re about to find out!

***Bell Rings***

Michaels, Punk, Jericho, there men all wanting one thing, to be called champion. As they stand in separate corners of the ring, the crowd begins a HBK chant. As the chant grows louder, Jericho strikes, charging across the ring and diving on Shawn Michael’s who pushes Jericho back. The champion however stays firmly put in the corner, happy to watch on and allow these two bitter rivals to tear each other apart. As Michael’s and Jericho move out of the corner and into the centre of the ring, trading blows with each successive footstep, Punk like a Vulcher, moves forward, unwilling to act just yet. Jericho catches Michaels with a knee to the gut and locks on a head lock. Michael’s escapes and sends Jericho to the ropes. Michael’s drops his heads and Jericho flips up and over Michael’s and rolls him into a pinning position…………..

1………………..

Punk delivers martial arts kicks to the side of Jericho’s skull, breaking the count and interjecting himself into this match up. Michael’s is up and Punk nails him with a right hand. Jericho is shaking off the effects of Punk’s kick down on the canvas. Michael’s retaliates, catching Punk with a stinging chop across the chest and then a right hand of his own. Jericho is up to his feet and blindsides Michael’s, nailing his with a forearm to the side of the skull and knocking him off balance. Jericho then turns to Punk and calls him a “sly son of a bitch” the fans at ringside catch ear of this and pop for Jericho. Jericho shouts at Punk to be a man and tells him to fight. The crowd sharing Jericho’s point of view, start to get behind their once beloved idol. Punk looks to the right and to the left of him at the baying crowd. With Jericho confronting the champion, Shawn Michaels meanwhile has recovered and is now standing behind Jericho. Shawn grabs Jericho’s right shoulder and spins him around. Punk then sneaks up behind Jericho and locks up his arms, actually holding Jericho in place for Shawn Michaels.

Punk shouts at Michaels to lay into Jericho, who is completely helpless. Shawn doesn’t know what to do at first. The crowd falls quiet. Shawn looks at Jericho and then Punk before shouting “what the hell” and starts to nail Jericho with rights and lefts to the midsection and face as Punk shouts words of encouragement. Some of the crowd actually begins to boo Shawn Michaels for this, whilst others cheer him on. Michael Cole questions the lengths Shawn Michaels will go to tonight to become world champion once again. Punk releases his grip on Jericho, who falls to to his knees. Punk shouts something to Michaels and he nods. Then in unison, Punk delivers a striking kick to the back of Jericho’s skull as Shawn Michael’s delivers one to his face. Jericho falls face first onto the canvas and within seconds Shawn Michaels kicks him under the bottom rope. Jericho falls to the floor and we are left with the champion and Shawn Michael’s, the heartbreak kick. Was this the plan all along? These two are supposed to detest each other! CM Punk and Michael’s nod to one another. They then begin to circle the outskirts of the ring before tying up in the centre.

Jericho is face down on the floor at the bottom of the ramp. In the ring CM Punk, the champion, catches Shawn Michael’s with a high knee and takes down the veteran with a stiff clothesline. With HBK laid out on the mat, Punk drops a knee to the head and makes the cover…..

1………………….

………………….NO!

Shawn Michael’s kicks out with ease. Punk wraps his arms around the chin of Michael’s locking in a sleeper hold, a surprising move by Punk, who often resorts to high impact, unique offense. Michael’s fight against the sleeper hold, but he isn’t experiencing the kind of support from the capacity as he’s used to, perhaps a result of his earlier decision. The crowd seems to be questioning Shawn Michael’s game plan and his motives. Michael’s begins to fade fast; the champion has the sleeper locked in and is shouting at the referee to check Michaels. The referee grabs onto the right arm of HBK and lifts it into the air before letting go. Michael’s arm plummets to the canvas and the referee shouts “ONE.” Half of the sold out crowd begin to stomp, clap and cheer on HBK, urging him to fight back, to rally. The other half are silent, again this is a result of Michael’s earlier actions. As the referee grabs onto Michael’s right arm for a second time, Chris Jericho climbs up onto the apron and begins to climb the outside of the turnbuckle. CM Punk has his back to Jericho and can’t see what’s happening. The referee lets go of Shawn Michael’s arm for a second time and just like before it falls to the canvas, “TWO.” Jericho is on the top rope. MISSILE DROPLICK TO THE BACK OF PUNKS HEAD!!!

The crowd pops big time for this. Punk releases his grip on a near unconscious Shawn Michaels and falls onto his side. All three men are on the canvas, but it is Chris Jericho who all of sudden is firmly in control of this match up. Jericho crawls over to where Punk is laid out and is about to cover him, when he changes him mind, crawls over CM Punk and covers Shawn Michael’s, hooking Shawn’s right leg……………

1……………………..

2………………………………

…………………….NO! NO! NO!

Shawn lifts his left should off of the canvas just as the referee’s hand was coming down for the all important three count. There is a noticeable “Y2J” chant after breaking out in rafters of the arena and it beginning to spread like wildfire. By the time Chris Jericho is up to his feet, fans in the front row are chanting “Y2J” Jericho looks out at the capacity crowd, poker faces, unsure of how to react. Seconds pass. The chant grows louder and then it happens. JERICHO SMILES… THE FANS CHEER… AND HE SHOUTS “LET’S GO BABY!!!” CM Punk is up and Jericho delivers a series of kicks to the legs and side of the champion. Jericho goes to kick Punk in the stomach but the champion grabs his foot, leaving Jericho hoping on one foot. The champion smiles and waves his finger in Jericho’s face to which Jericho responds with a finger gesture of his own, casing the fans to rally behind him even more. ENZUIGIRI ………. THE CHAMPION IS DOWN……. Jericho covers………..

1…………………….

2…………………………….

Shawn Michael’s dives on top of Jericho, breaking up the count. To the surprise of some, this actually draws some boos from the crowd. Michaels sells it, looking to the crowd with a puzzled expression on his face, as if asking them why? CM Punk is still motionless on the canvas as both Jericho and HBK rise to their feet. Shawn wraps his arms around the waist of Chris Jericho and delivers an inverted atomic drop. Shawn then hits the ropes an comes off with a clothesline, which Jericho ducks. Jericho turns; Shawn hits the opposing ropes and comes off with a flying forearm to the face of Chris Jericho taking him down to the canvas. Shawn flips up and so does Jericho to a bigger pop. As Jericho and Michael’s lock eyes the champion too flips back up to his feet, much to the amusement of the sold out crowd. The champion nails Jericho with a right hand; promoting Shawn Michael’s to lock Jericho’s arms up from behind this time around. CM Punk smiles as he approaches, taunting Chris Jericho. The capacity crowd is shocked at what they are seeing. If Michael’s earlier actions put doubts in the minds of his fans, this showing by the heartbreak Kid proves the CM Punk and Shawn Michaels have come into this match up with a common game plan. Take out and eliminate Jericho and create better odds for themselves.

Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler sell the situation, noting that Shawn Michaels will do anything to become champion and even more to prevent Chris Jericho for doing so. The crowd begins to jeer both CM Punk and Shawn Michaels as Punk starts kicking Jericho repeatedly. Shawn Michael’s expression is that of poker player, not giving anything away. If he’s feeling guilty about his choice of actions right now, he’s certainly not showing it. As the crowd begins to turn on Michaels, he releases his grip on Chris Jericho. Jericho falls to the canvas and CM Punk continues to put the boots to him. Shawn Michael’s meanwhile steps to the outside of the ring. As Shawn approaches the timekeepers table, a fan in the front row throws his drink over Michaels (this is a work, set up to gauge the crowd’s reaction to Michael’s at this time during the match) the crowd pop for this. Michaels grabs the fan by his shirt and attempts to drag him over the security barrier, but the security team intervene and remove the fan from ringside. In the ring Punk covers Jericho………

1…………………

2………………………….

Shawn Michaels reaches into the ring and grabs CM Punk’s right ankle, pulling him underneath the bottom rope to the floor and breaking the count. Michael’s shoves Punk and shouts “you know the deal jackass.” Punk shoves Michael’s back and tells him that the deal is off. Michael Cole and Lawler once again sell this, claiming that without a shadow of a doubt CM Punk and Shawn Michael’s had a plan going into this match up. In the ring Jericho is desperately trying to drag himself back to a vertical base, using the ring ropes for leverage. A loud “Y2J” chant erupts. Shawn Michael’s spots Jericho at the ropes and grabs the ring bell. He shouts at Punk to move and is seemingly going to nail Jericho is the skull with the bell, but at the last minutes, he turns and nails CM Punk square between the eyes. Jericho is up to his feet. Shawn Michael’s turns to face the ring. Jericho throws his body up and over the top rope, landing across Shawn Michael’s on the outside of the ring. CM Punk is bleeding and is none to happy about it as he stares at his blood stained hands. CM Punk latches onto the steel ring steps and pulls himself back up onto his feet. Jericho charges in behind the champion……. ONE HANDED BULLDOG ONTO THE STEEL STEPS… Jericho goes up and over the steps and Punk’s head smacks into the steel.

Shawn Michaels crawls over and covers Punk. The referee informs Michael’s that it’s not a falls count anywhere matchup. Michaels attempts to lift CM Punk up off of the floor, but he’s dead weight. Jericho rolls into the ring, takes one look at Michael’s and Punk’s position on the outside of the ring and charges into the corner. Jericho jumps to the second rope and dives off with a cross body, landing on top of both Punk and HBK. All three men are down on the outside and right now, this match and the world heavyweight championship could be anybodies. CM Punk’s face is a crimson mess, like an Andy Warhol got horribly wrong. Chris Jericho is back to his feet and looks to take control of this match up in a bid to once again become the world champion. Jericho grabs CM Punk and rolls him into the ring. Punk is barely able to move and Jericho makes the cover, hooking up the right leg of the champion………….

1…………………….

2……………………………

NO. Michaels slides under the bottom rope and nails Jericho with a right hand, breaking up the count. Again, Michael’s actions result in him being booed by the capacity crowd who are now rallying behind Chris Jericho and the apparent rebirth of the Y2J phenomenon.

“Y2J… Y2J… Y2J… Y2J… Y2J..”

Jericho responds to the chant, scooping Shawn Michaels up and slamming him to the canvas, right next to where the champion CM Punk is laying in the centre of the ring. With Punk and Michaels lying side by side, Jericho spots an opportunity. The crowd can sense what’s about to go down as Jericho races to the ropes………… LIONSAULT ONTO CM PUNK AND SHAWN MICHAEL’S…… Jericho is lying across both his opponents and shots at the referee to make the count, but he doesn’t know whose shoulders to count. Jericho gets to his feet and asks the referee what the hell he’s doing. As the referee explains the situation, Shawn Michael’s throws his arm across the chest of CM Punk. The referee brushes past a confused Jericho………..

1…………………..

2……………………

NO! Jericho catches Michael’s with a boot to the side of the head breaking up the count. Jericho grabs Michael’s by the hair and drags him back to his feet. Jericho guides Michael’s into the corner and rams him face first into the top turnbuckle. Jericho sets Michael’s up for the one handed bulldog, but as Jericho charges across the ring, Shawn Michael’s escapes and drives Jericho sternum first into the opposing turnbuckle. Jericho falls out of the corner and Michael’s scoops him up and slams him to the canvas. Shawn steps to the outside and climbs all the way to the top turnbuckle. As he prepares to hit the big elbow, he looks out at the sold out crowd, stone faced as if to let them know this is for him, not for them. Michaels comes off the top and lands the elbow. He covers…..

1……………….

2……………………….

NO! Punk drops an elbow across the back of HBK, breaking up the cover. Punk stands in wait as Shawn gets to his feet. As Shawn Michael’s turns around, Punk latches onto him……. THROW AWAT SUPLEX…… Michael’s goes up and over the head of Punk and crashes to the canvas. The champion Punk, having used what little energy he has left, is slow to react and as he crawls across the ring to make the cover, Shawn Michael’s is already beginning to move. As Punk reaches Michael’s, he is met with an elbow to the jaw. Both men are weary and they cling onto each other as they try and get back to their feet. As they reach their feet, Michael’s pushes Punk back and goes for the super kick. However at the exact same time, Chris Jericho comes running across the ring and nails Punk with a forearm, knocking him out of the way. Jericho turns and Shawn connects with the SUPER KICK. Michaels covers…….. It’s over……….

1…………………

2…………………………….

……………NO! NO! NO!

Punk dives across the ring and breaks up the count, saving him world title. Michael’s having been one second away for once again becoming world champion can’t hide his emotions, letting out a desperate scream. Shawn climbs to his feet and swings wildly at Punk, who ducks the attempts before catching Michaels with a kick to the side of the head. Michael’s falls forward and Punk sets him up for the GTS. Jericho however is back up to his feet and seemingly out of it. As Jericho approaches, Punk lets go of Michaels who turns and walks into Jericho, who out of nowhere hits the CODEBREAKER!!! Punk ever the opportunist knocks Jericho through the ropes to the floor and covers Michael’s…………….

***Bell Rings***

(Winner via pinfall @15.15 CM Punk)

Cole: I don’t believe it; CM Punk somehow has found a way to win this match up.

Lawler: The champion looked to be out of it for most of the match up, but yet he finds a way to win. What a match, what a night!

Lillian: The winner of this match by pinfall and still world heavyweight champion, CM Punk.

*Major Heat*

***THE FIRE BURNS***

>>> The referee returns to the ring with the world title belt and hands it to the champion. A smile spreads across Punk’s blood stained face as the referee hoists his arm in the air. The champion exits the ring as Shawn Michael’s begins to get to his feet. Chris Jericho is facing the Raw announce table, still fairly out of it. In the ring Shawn Michael’s is leaning on the top rope, then all of a sudden he swings around………. SUPERKICK TO THE REFEREE……..

*HEAT*

>>> The champion CM Punk walks through the curtain and his music cuts out. Michael’s stands over the referee, a look of anger on his face as he looks down at the motionless body before him. Jericho is leaning on the announce table, when Michaels steps to the outside. The fans are trying to warn Jericho, but it’s pointless. Michael’s grabs Jericho by the hair and proceeds to ram him face first into the table repeatedly until Jericho falls to the floor.

Cole: Shawn Michael’s has completely lost it.

Lawler: we needs to get out of dodge, he has a chair Michael.

>>> Michaels, chair in hand stands before Jericho and then in an act of pure hatred raises the chair into the air and brings it down across the skull of Chris Jericho. Jericho keels over onto his side and Michael’s smashes the chair into his ribs and shoulder, over and over again. Jericho, just like the champion CM Punk earlier in the night, is now busted wide open.

*** ASSHOLE…. ASSHOLE… ASSHOLE…”***

Lawler: Listen to these people Michael. Did you ever think you’d hear thousands of WWE fans call Shawn Michaels an ass hole?

Cole: No need for you to say it. Something just isn’t right here. What the hell has gotten into Shawn Michael’s? What has driven him to this?

Lawler: Maybe we’ll find out tomorrow night on Raw?

>>> Shawn Michael’s has returned to the ring, steel chair in hand, which is covered with the blood of Chris Jericho. Michael’s raises his arms in the air and the fans begin to throw trash into the ring.

Cole: The showstopper, the main event, the heartbreak kid Shawn Michael’s has once again shocked the wrestling world for all the wrong reasons. We’re out of time, thank you for joining us, we’ll see you tomorrow night live on Raw.

Re: WWE - GET IT! - SUMMER 2008

Sean my man I can’t tell you how happy I am to see this thread continuing with the official No Mercy ppv! Let’s do this!

Opening match: Kendrick and London opening up is the perfect way to start this pay per view. I figured that Kendrick would win, but at the same time I’m hoping this feud continues on Smackdown. A little bit of frustration on London’s part is something you may work with, since it was Kyle writing that part, and now you’re writing Smackdown, or I may just be totally off. Good opening though.

Vickie/Patterson/Punk: One of my favorite things about RAW is the Patterson/GM promos. They honestly put smiles on my face when I’m reading these things. Maybe I have no life, but this is one of my favorite parts to RAW. Vickie explained that the doc’s will determine if Cena would be in the match. Vickie cracked me up with Patterson, and how she was lying back reading the magazine…but she wasn’t totally in character when talking to Punk. Punk seemed like a great character, very frustrated and all. Good job. Good job.

Bourne/Mysterio: I never got interested by this feud, bored me a little, not your fault it’s just something I’d rather witness on TV than read it on BTB. I’m just like you, I’m not a fan of writing matches, but I don’t know about you but I don’t like reading them either so I can’t really comment on your matches. The length was an awesome size for a pay per view, but other than that I can’t talk about the match itself. Having Mysterio go over Bourne was the right move. Does this mean this feud is over? We’ll find out on the next RAW.

Foley/Todd: I got from an understanding that Foley will be going into the match as one of his personas, but I may be wrong. Foley seemed to be in character in this interview, talking about cheese graters, and getting that cheap pop. I can’t see Kenny as anything but a jobber. You could put the blame on the WWE for doing that to me, but it’ll take me a while to get used to him. I’m about to read the match with him and Foley, here’s to hoping Kenny wins so that I could start thinking of him as a star.

Street Fight: Having a guy who’s like a legend against some new kid like Dykstra who doesn’t even look all build and everything, isn’t a realistic one on one match that could captivate audiences, but having a fest of weapons in the street fight could make it very entertaining. AH!! I so called that finish, with Kenny winning. I know one match can’t change my mind of me not finding Kenny as a star who can be pushed, but BTB is like the WWE, you have the power to build superstars, and I’m seeing the building faze of Dykstra, and here’s to hoping you push him. I want to take this guy seriously, and I feel like you could use him perfectly, but that’s just a guess. Kudos to Kyle to writing a long street fight match, hopefully it was good lol.

Wait a minute….Kay, so I just read the aftermath and I saw the word “Brock” and so I went back to read the final paragraph, and I read that Lesnar broke the count and put Kenny’s arm over Mick’s body. My thoughts on this are…I still see Kenny as a bright future main eventer. But, I’m sorry, I don’t see him doing it on his own…pair him up with Lesnar and Heyman, the two of them could really be lifted by helping each other out. Hopefully you don’t add another guy to the group (if there is a group) because I’d rather you focus on Lesnar as a Main Eventer and then you focus on Kenny as a mid-carder/upper mid-carder. Adding another one to the group will take away from Kenny, and I don’t want you to put Kenny in a tag team…focus on Lesnar and Kenny and both wrestlers, more Kenny than Lesnar obviously, and the payoff will be much more greater. Oh and a Foley/Lesnar program…equals ratings!!

Jericho/HBK: Very heated and tense confrontation between these two superstars. I feel like you’re the kind of writer that can continue the Jericho/HBK feud and make it even greater. But enough about that, Sean this was a good promo. Both guys were in character. I noticed one error “WWW PPV” instead of “WWE PPV” but that’s not a big deal. Anyways, this was a good promo, nonetheless.

Big Show/MVP: Wow, this was longer than I thought it would be. I don’t see someone like MVP going toe to toe with the big man, and actually having the upper hand, as I assume he did. Big Show winning hopefully means this match could end, and these guys go in 2 different direction.

Batista interview: I didn’t like this. There was no point for this on the pay per view. This match needed no talking. Just a recap video before the match, and why did Henry just try to get at Batista…he couldn’t wait like what…4/5 minutes? I didn’t like this whole segment at all.

Cena: Cena’s in the house, and I marked the fuck out when 24 was mentioned…can you say best show ever? Haha, anyways, Cena’s here and I’m sure this will be linked with another one soon in the night.

LMS: Batista wins, yay! The end, which I figured would be good, was Batista sending Henry off the stage, hopefully Henry’s gone for good.

Hardy/HHH/Interviews: So when I was reading the Hardy interview, I thought “what was the point” but then I saw the HHH promo. Just a quick summary of their feud, would be enough. You don’t need so many interviews. I know you didn’t write them, that Kyle did, but truth be told, no need for so many segments. I also thought HHH’s reasoning was very bullshit-like because he didn’t have a logical response that I liked. I thought that Kyle (or Bradley) trapped themselves in a whole. Having HHH and Jeff feuding, when Umaga and Lesnar are currently occupied with HHH. I don’t know, hopefully this tragic mess gets cleared up.

HHH/Hardy: If my memory serves me right, Hardy wished his brother to lose in his WWE title match, so I’m sure he’ll have some play. This match definitely won’t go cleanly since this feud wasn’t based on HHH versus Jeff. It was more like HHH (versus Umaga/Brock) vs. Jeff, which isn’t quite the same. Kay, I’m reading…oh wow did I call it or not!!!! Umaga’s music hits…okay so wow, that was a good/weird incident. Good call on whoever’s part it was (Kyle’s I’m sure) to have Umaga obliterate both competitors. And then Hardy came out, which I thought he was going to attack Umaga, but then turn on Jeff, but I’m happy I was wrong. Hardy landing chair shots to Umaga’s head was very realistic, and I definitely could see that happening in real life, and the chair shot to Jeff’s head by mistake is something that will definitely be continued on Smackdown. One of these guys are going heel. I don’t think it’s Jeff, but I could see you pulling that one on us. As Umaga and Matt are fighting on the outside, I said to myself “Why is he telling us that the fight has reached the backstage area” and then I realized “oh shit, there’s still a match going on” and of course HHH wins, I didn’t think HHH would lose. This WWE title match was certainly entertaining (well for me, the entertaining part was the end, cause I don’t really read the matches) and I liked what went down, I like it a lot. I could see Matt Hardy vs. Umaga for the next episode of Smackdown.

Cole/King: Doesn’t make sense that the crowd would boo, since when can the fans at the arena hear what Cole and/or King has to say, unless they were in the ring, which they weren’t. That’s just me nitpicking and whatnot. I would discuss my thoughts on Cena not being able to compete, but Cena’s music has just hit, lol, so I’m going to start reading that now.

Cena/Vickie/Orton: I get Cena’s all pissed, but he wouldn’t say “Lillian, introduce me…” he isn’t a heel (is he?) Vickie, of course, being the heel that she is, gives Cena the ultimatum…but WHAT THE HELL…ORTON?!? Orton’s back and what better way to have him back then reveal who the attacker is. I, for one, believe him because since Mania is the next ppv, what better match to have at the ppv than Cena vs. Batista…and you can make it better than what the WWE did with their match at Summerslam (I think it was) I really, really, really, am excited for this! Wait, what? I’m reading that SNME is coming back, which is smart in between this ppv and Mania, but then you wrote Survivor Series…so we’re still in November, time? I guess Mania isn’t next, but I think Orton’s still telling the truth. Um, so then why did you mention Mania, if SS is the next ppv?

Main Event: This match has been filled with rage and hatred! Punk and HBK…Jericho and everyone else…this match should be good, and I’m predicting Jericho wins and Punk and HBK continue to feud…just my prediction. K, way off, haha…Punk wins. That is still a good decision, regardless of what I thought. Punk should have a good and lengthy title reign, to show us how big of a legitimate champion he is. Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, since when has HBK been a bad guy? Hasn’t Jericho been a bad guy this whole time. I mean, yea HBK kicked the referee out of frustration, but why would they boo him for attacking Jericho? I really didn’t like the ending. The ending to this pay per view, should NOT have been about HBK. It should’ve been about Punk and his title retain victory! This was, in my opinion, bad booking decision.

Overall: This entire review thing, took me such a long time but it was worth it. I started this review the day you posted the show, and I just finished it now. I read a few segments each day, because I don’t have time to just sit here and write. I’m very glad this is back, because this is my favorite BTB ever. I like your writing, Sean, and I can’t wait to see more of it. Good luck in this BTB, and it isn’t a question of if I’ll continue to read or not, I’m a die hard fan of this through and through. I hope I didn’t do what other people do and just review your whole damn show, because that’s very annoying and doesn’t help at all. I doubt whatever I wrote helped you, but I just wanted you to know that I read this show, and am a big fan of your BTB. Keep going, Sean, don’t burn yourself out!

Re: WWE - GET IT! - SUMMER 2008

RAW PREVIEW
OCTOBER 6. 2008

This Monday night Raw comes to you live from the Kiel Centre in Saint Louis Missouri. With No Mercy, the most controversial PPV in recent memory weighing heavy on the minds of the WWE locker room and the WWE universe alike, this Monday nights Raw may prove to be one of the most memorable shows ever.

>>> LEGEND KILLER DROPS A BOMB <<<

Last night at No Mercy, Randy Orton made his return to the WWE after a three month absence due to injury. The Legend Killer confronted an already infuriated John Cana, claiming that he knew the identity of the “mystery attacker” a person that has plagued John Cena’s life for some 2 months now. When push came to shove, Orton finally revealed the mystery attacker to be none other than “The Animal” Dave Batista. The accusation, rejected by many could have un-profound implications. There are those who simply claim Orton is lying in attempt to drive a rift between the two biggest superstars on the Raw roster. However Orton has his believers and has told the world that he will back up his claims on Raw tonight with overwhelming evidence. Will Orton live up to his promise or this just “the Legend killer” playing his old mind games? We get the answers when Raw goes live in less than 24 hours....

>>> ANIMAL OR CRIMINAL <<<

There has been so much talk about Randy Orton’s return and John Cena’s strive for justice, we at times simply forget to factor Batista into the equation, after all he is the man Randy Orton singles out last night at No Mercy as the prime suspect in the John Cena hit and run incident. The WWE universe have been very vocal in the past few hours, going out in defence of Batista and calling Randy Orton a no good liar. Oddly tough, the man in question has remained silent and has not been seen publicly since his match up with Mark Henry last night at No Mercy. Following a 2 month feud with the world’s strongest man and after finally securing victory over his advisory, The Animal should be celebrating, but thanks to one Randy Orton that simply is not possible. How will Batista react when Raw goes live in less than 24 hours? What about John cena, will he call out his friend? Does he believe Orton? So many questions and so many reasons to catch Raw live tonight on the USA Network!!!

>>> A DEAL THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING <<<

Survivor Series 2002 and the very first elimination chamber match up for the world heavyweight title. The stage was set and it was the heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, as he so often does, overcame the odds and became champion once more. Jump forward six years and the stage was set once more, as Shawn Michaels attempted to recapture the world title once more and relive the memories of six years ago. What the WWE Universe did not realize was just how much Shawn wanted to become champion again and what he was willing to do to get it done. A deal it appeared was struck between the champion CM Punk and Shawn Michaels going into the match. That deal would result in both Punk and Michaels teaming up to take out the third man, that of course being Chris Jericho. However this move would result in a shifting of momentum with the fans turning on their hero, Shawn Michaels and rallying around Chris Jericho. As the heartbreak kid crumbled, Y2J was reborn and in once instant everything changed. CM Punk walked away champion, Michael’s lost his dream and then took his frustrations out on Chris Jericho, and the question is, WHY? Tonight Shawn Michael’s will address the WWE Universe live...

>>> ALSO TONIGHT <<<

> HE’S BACK!!!!!!!!!!! GOLDUST RETURNS! You want to talk controversial, unpredictable and downright bizarre, you have to talk Goldust. The former Intercontinental champion may have been gone for several years, but he has certainly not been forgotten. What can we expect from one of the most controversial characters in WWE history? Who knows?

> Love is in the air, or is it? Jack Swagger, the high school sweetheart of Kelly Kelly has already made quiet an impact here in the WWE and has drawn a negative reaction to say the least. It’s no surprise given the way he treats the young blond Kelly Kelly. However Swagger may have bigger problems ahead in the shape of another blond WWE diva, Beth Phoenix. Beth is out for revenge, Swagger is out to make a name for him self and Kelly, well she simply needs to come out!!!

>FRIEND OR FOE? Mickie James has always been a puzzle for many, never acting as you expect her to and always making the strangest of choices. Her relationship with reigning woman’s champion Gail Kim has been a torrid affair, with Mickie seemingly unable to balance her desire to be champion and her desired to be Gail’s best friend. It would seem the stress has gotten to Mickie, but through it all it’s become abundantly clear, Mickie wants to be champion and Gail better watch her back!

>>> CONFIRMED MATCHES <<<

Goldust VS Jamie Noble

Santino Marella VS Kofi Kingston
