WWE News & Notes and RAW Preview
Wrestlenewz.com

* Expect La Familia to get a huge makeover on the next Smackdown. Rumors are going around that John Morrison & The Miz will be replacing The Edgeheads, who were sent down to FCW for more devolopement. Also, expect John "Bradshaw" Layfield to join the group, more than likely replacing Chavo Guerrero, who is contemplating retirement.

* The current plan for Triple H at the Backlash Pay Per View is to be the Special Guest Referee for the WWE Championship Match.

* The WWE is trying to bring their Tag Division (At least on Smackdown) back to where the titles mean something. Expect a good feud that means something for the tag titles in the near future.

* People Backstage have been impressed with Paul Burchill's past work and were impressed how he handled his first night on RAW. Expect Burchill to get a very nice push in the future.

Smackdown Review!

Opening promo: Could opening promo that hypes up the main event, Usual heel antics of degrading the faces moment of glory.

Match 1: A squash match, Would have prefered it not to be Noble but. It sets up MVP and Matt Hardy very well though and thats all that matters.

MVP/Vickie/Jericho segment: Good with MVP being angered and then upset at the title on the line, Jericho better choose Raw just to tick off Guerrero :P

Match 2: Long superb TV match with the heels doing what it takes, Kane coming down, Tag titles on the line against Mr MITB and the big red machine please.

JBL/Jericho segment: Only just realized your banner so excuse the earlier quote, Great segment TBH, I can picture this now, Also JBL saying NO is very good because he wants the title.

Long/JBL Segment: Hah! Take that JBL, Teddy Long saying Money match was well in character and a good match for Backlash.

Match 3: Nothing special but got the Edgeheads over.

Match 4: I see this happening in RL with The Miz playing scared by Kane finally catching him, Damn Morrison but Punk made the save and a good match for next week as well as maybe Backlash.

Main Event: Great Main event TBH, I like Batista getting so close but so far with the edgeheads coming out, Triple threat for Backlash possibly or plans for Tista. Edge escapes the grasps of taker in the aftermath.

Overall: very good first Smackdown, This has tonnes of potential IMO, The matches were solid and so were the segments but their could have been 1 or 2 more small Backstage segments IMO. Rating: 7.5/10

WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW
April 7th 2008
Atlanta Georgia

The show opened up with a video package detailing the events of last week’s Raw, which ended with John Cena pinning Shawn Michaels to get a WWE Championship Match at Backlash against Randy Orton. We then went to the arena, where Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to the show. They mention that tonight we have the Quarter Finals of the King of the Ring tournament and that in the main event, it will be Triple H & John Cena teaming up against the team of Umaga & WWE Champion Randy Orton.

The opening contest match of the night is the first King of the Ring Quarter Final match. On the side of the entrance ramp, there is a throne with a crowd beside it. The first contestant is…The Intercontinental Champion Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy comes out to a good amount of heat from the crowd. His opponent is…former ECW Extremist Kofi Kingston. Kingston comes out to a good pop from the crowd. The match was very short, and Kofi barely got any offense in against the Intercontinental Champion. The end came when Kofi missed a roundhouse kick, and Kennedy nailed him with the Mic Check for the three count. After the match, Mr. Kennedy went over to the throne by the entrance ramp and sat on it. He then grabbed the crown and put it on.

We then went backstage to where Maria was standing by with the WWE Champion Randy Orton. She asked Orton about his thoughts on having to face John Cena at Backlash for the WWE Championship. He said that he will walk out of Backlash the WWE Champion and kick Cena in the head.

Our second match of the night was another King of the Ring Quarter Final match. The first competitor in the match is…Carlito. Carlito came out to a decent amount of heat from the crowd. His opponent was…THE BIG SHOW!! Carlito has a look of fear on his face, as he knows what is about to come. This was pretty much a squash match, as Carlito had no offense in the entire match. Show picked up the victory and advanced to the King of the Ring semi-finals after picking Carlito up by his afro and Chokeslaming him for the three count.

We then went backstage, to where Mr. Kennedy was watching the match. Shawn Michaels then walked up to him. Michaels wished Kennedy luck next week against The Big Show in the semi-finals. Kennedy then wished Michaels luck in his King of the Ring Quarter Final match later tonight. We then went to a commercial.

When we came back from the break, Mike Adamle was standing by with the challenger for the WWE Championship at Backlash, John Cena. Adamle asked Cena about his thoughts on his tag team match tonight and facing Randy Orton at Backlash. Cena made fun of Umaga always yelling stuff in samoan, which included doing an impression. He then did an impression of Randy Orton’s monotone voice. Triple H then walked into the picture, and Adamle dipped out. Triple H told Cena that he doesn’t like him and never will. He said Cena’s victory last week was a fluke and that IF Cena beats Orton at Backlash, he wants the first title match. Cena responded by telling Triple H that he doesn’t like him either and IF he gets in his way at Backlash, there will hell to pay.

We then had our third King of the Ring Quarter final match of the night. The first superstar in the match was one half of the World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes. His opponent was…Paul Burchill. This was Burchill’s second match on RAW. Burchill looked impressive once again in this match, dominating the match and letting Cody Rhodes have little to no offense. Burchill picked up the victory after nailing him with the C-4 after about five minutes. Burchill then celebrated his victory as we went to a commercial.

*When we returned from the commercial, we saw a video package hyping a debuting superstar. It said that he is former WWE Champion and former Intercontinental Champion.*

When we came back to the arena, we heard the music of Shawn Michaels fill the arena. Shawn Michaels came out to a loud pop for the final King of the Ring Quarter Final match of the night. We waited a couple of seconds for his opponent. We then heard the music of…JEFF HARDY!! HARDY came out to a VERY LOUD pop! The crowd was split for who to root for. This match made up for all of the squash matches earlier in the night, as this match went over twenty minutes. This was a non-stop high flying match, with each man taking huge risks. Michaels eventually picked up the victory after reversing a Twist of Fate attempt and nailing Hardy with the Sweet Chin Music for the three count. After the match, both men got a standing ovation from the crowd. Michaels and Hardy then shook hands after the match.

After the commercial break, Shawn Michaels was walking back to his locker room when he ran into his opponent for next week, Paul Burchill. Burchill congratulated Michaels on having such a great match. Burchill added that next week, he wont be so lucky. Burchill told Michaels that next week, he will shock the world by beating Shawn Michaels in only his third match. Michaels just laughed it off, and told Burchill “Good Luck Kid.”

Our fifth match of the night was between one half of the Tag Team Champion Hardcore Holly and Santino Merrella. This was a decent match that got time to build. Merrella eventually got the victory after getting out the Alabama Slam and rolled up Holly for the threee count, using the ropes for leverage. After the match, Merrella told Holly that he and Carlito will become World Tag Team Champions.

When we came back from the break, we see John Cena walking to the ring. On his way there, he is stopped Triple H. Triple H told Cena to stay out of his way during the match tonight.

Up next was the main event of the evening. John Cena & Triple H teamed up to face WWE Champion Randy Orton & Umaga. This was a solid tag team match that went on for damn near twenty minutes. John Cena played the face in peril for this match. Cena eventually made the hot tag to Triple H after DDTing Randy Orton. Triple H cleaned house on Orton & Umaga. The end came when Triple H Pedigreed Umaga. Triple H then turned around, and was RKOed by Randy Orton. Orton then turned right into the F-U by John Cena. Cena then covered Orton for the three count. Cena went over and grabbed the WWE Title and stared at it. He then dropped it on Orton. Cena then turned around, and was immediately Pedigreed by Triple H. Triple H stood tall over both John Cena and Randy Orton as RAW ended!

First of all, I want to say that I haven´t been following your thread so excuse me if I make mistakes of any kind.

Kennedy/Kingston: Great to see Mr. Kennedy win but Kingston should´ve gotten more offense. I hope to see Kennedy reaching the finals.

Orton Interview: Can´t really review this but Cena/Orton should be a good match and I hope Orton gets the win (and kicks Cena in the head)

Big Show/Carlito: I knew this was going to be a total squash. Carlito is very talented so I hope you find something better for him. I hope Big Show is eliminated in the semi finals.

Michaels/Kennedy Backstage: I hope Kennedy wins next week! I´m hoping for a Kennedy/HBK match in the finals.

Triple H/Cena: I hope that Cena doesn´t win the match. Maybe a HHH run in at Backlash helping Randy Orton win the match, then Cena and Hunter feud. Could happen.

Burchill/Cody Rhodes: Glad to see Burchill win here. I think he deserves a good push and hopefully you´ll give it to him.

Hardy/Michaels: Glad to see HBK win. It sounds like a very good match and maybe it made up for all of the squash matches early on.

Burchill/Michaels: Good segment here with Burchill showing his cockyness and Michaels just laughing. How many times has Shawn Michaels heard that? Apparently too many.

Santino/Holly: La vittoria e´mia! lol. Santino rules.

Tag Team Main Event: Good way to end the show. I can see HHH being added to the WWE Title match.

Overall: Good show, I´ll keep reading.

WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN
April 11th 2008
Boston Massachusets

The show opens up with a great pyro display. The camera then goes over to Michael Cole and Johnathan Coachmen, who welcomes to Friday Night Smackdown! The promote the two big matches for tonight, which are MVP Vs. Chris Jericho in a non-title match and CM Punk & Kane teaming up to take on the Tag Team Champions The Miz and John Morrison. If Punk & Kane win, they earn a Tag Team Championship match at Backlash.

We then hear the music of the Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz. The Tag Team Champions come out to a good amount of heat from the crowd. CM Punk's music fills the arena, and Mr. Money in the Bank comes out to a loud pop. Kane's music then hits, and Kane comes out to a good pop. Punk & Miz started off the match. Punk got the better of Miz in the begginning, but eventually Punk became the face in peril after Morrison low-blowed Punk while the referee was distaracted by The Miz. Punk made the hot tag to Kane at the seven minute mark after a double enziguri to both Miz and Morrison. Kane came into the ring and cleaned house. Kane attempted a Double Chokeslam on Miz & Morrison, but they got out of it, and hit a double team suplex on Kane. The end eventually came at the eleven minute mark, as Miz came off the top rope and Kane, but Kane grabbed Miz by the throat, and Chokeslamed him for the three count and the victory. Kane & Punk celebrated their victory. Punk signeled that they will be winning the Tag Team Titles at Backlash as we went backstage.

Backstage, we saw Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero in her office with Edge. They are discussing something which seems very important. There is a knock at the door. Guerrero tells them to come in, and John "Bradshaw" Layfield comes into the room. He shakes both Guerrero and Edge's hand. Guerrero welcomes him to Smackdown. He tells Vickie Guerrero that she is the General Manger of Smackdown and asks her to call off his match with Chris Jericho at Backlash. She tells JBL that he has to do her a favor in order for her to call off the match. She makes JBL Vs. Undertaker for later tonight, and if JBL can take out The Undertaker, she will call off the match. JBL has a look of fear in his eyes. He thanks Vickie Guerrero and leaves the ring.

When we come back from the break, we hear the music of Matt Hardy, who comes out to a very loud pop. His opponent, Chuck Palumbo comes out to pretty much no reaction, as nobody cares about him. This was a short match that was only on the show to get Matt Hardy back into action. Hardy hit all of his signature moves in the match, which included the side effect and leg drop from the top rope. Hardy got the victory after nailing Palumbo with the Twist of Fate after about four minutes. After the match, Hardy grabs a microphone and challenges MVP at Backlash for his United States Championship. MVP then comes out and stands at the entrance ramp. MVP shakes his head no and walks back to the backstage area.

When we come back from the break, Eve Torres is standing by to interview Chris Jericho. She asks Jericho about JBL trying to get out of the match at Backlash between the two. Jericho says that JBL is afraid of proving him right, that he is irrelevent in the WWE. JBL then walks into the picture. He tells Jericho that he is not irrelevent and that he is still THE WRESTLING GOD!! Jericho then tells JBL to prove that he is still the Wrestling God. JBL responds by telling Jericho that he will soon find out that he is still the Wrestling God. JBL then walks off.

*We hear the music of The United States Champion MVP as soon as we come back from the commercial break. MVP comes out walking his arrogent walk and getting tons of heat from the crowd. We then hear the music of Smackdown's newest superstar, Chris Jericho. Jericho comes out to a MONSTER pop. Before the match begins, Matt Hardy's music hits. Matt Hardy walks down to the announce table, all the while staring down MVP.*

The match between Chris Jericho and MVP was under way. Jericho and MVP started the match off with a test of strength, which Jericho easily won by shoving MVP out of the ring. MVP, feeling embarresed came back into the ring and demanded another test of strength. They locked up again and it had the same outcome with Jericho coming out on top. MVP then yelled "Fuck This" and grabbed the United States Title. MVP then started to walk up the ramp. Jericho went in hot pursuit of MVP. Jericho eventually cought up to MVP and brought him back to the ring.

Jericho & MVP went on to have a great match that went on for damn near fifteen minutes. MVP the whole match was more focused on Matt Hardy doing commentary then Chris Jericho. The middle portion of this match was very slow-paced, with MVP putting Jericho in a lot of rest holds. Jericho eventually got out of a sleeper hold that MVP had on him and nailed him with a back suplex. From here, Jericho built the momentum that would eventually lead to his victory. Jericho nailed MVP with a few right hands that knocked MVP down. Jericho then suplexed MVP for a two count. After about another minute, MVP kneed Jericho in the gut and went for the Playmaker, but Jericho got out of it. Jericho then immediatly nailed MVP with the CodeBreaker for the three count and victory.

After the match, while Jericho was celebrating his victory, JBL came out and attacked him from behind. JBL beat the living hell out of Jericho and eventually busted him open with a sick steel chair shot to the head. JBL ended this vicious assault after a powerbomb threw the announce table. JBL then stood over Jericho and told him that he is not irrelevent and that he is everything Jericho is not and that is a Wrestling God!! JBL stood over Jericho and got tons of heat from the crowd as we went to a commercial break.

When we came back from the break, we saw the EMT's wheeling Jericho to the backstage area on a stretcher. Michael Cole said that this assualt on Jericho was "Uncalled for" and "Unnecesary." Johnathan Coachmen told Cole that was one of the most vicous assaults he has seen in his career.

We then hear the music of Shelton Benjamin who comes out to the ring with Elijah Burke to a decent amount of heat. His opponent Jimmy Wang Yang comes out to a good reaction with his Tag Team Partner Shannon Moore. This was a fairly decent match for the time that it got to grow. Elijah Burke and Shannon Moore got into a brawl on the outside of the ring after Burke tripped up Jimmy Wang Yang when he was running the ropes. Benjamin got the victory after Yang was distracted with the brawl and Benjamin gave him a low blow. Benjamin then nailed Yang with Paydirt for the victory. Benjamin & Burke celebrated on the ramp as Yang & Moore looked on in anger as we went to a commercial.

*When we come back from the break, we see a promo of a returning star. It was the same one from RAW, which said that he is a former WWE Champion and Intercontinental Champion.*

We then go to the arena, where we the fimiliar music of Edge, who comes out to a HUGE amount of heat. He comes out with his fiance Vickie Guerrero. He and Vickie join Michael Cole and Johnathan Coachmen for commentary for the main event. We then hear the music of John "Bradshaw" Layfield who comes out to a lot of heat, but not as much as Edge. He walks out to the ring in an arrogent stride, still proud of what he did to Chris Jericho earlier in the night. After a couple of seconds, the lights go out and the crowd erupts. We then hear the Undertaker's music. The World Heavyweight Champion walks to the ring slowly to a HUGE pop. As soon as he enters the ring, he is immediatly attacked by JBL.

JBL begins the match on the attack, nailing Undertaker with rights and lefts to the back. The punches didnt seem to hurt the deadman, as he shoves JBL off of him. JBL runs back at the Undertaker, but he runs right into a big boot by the Undertaker. JBL then rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. As JBL is on the outside of the ring, Edge talks some smack to Undertaker, telling him that he will take back his World Heavyweight Title at Backlash.

The match then went on for about ten more minute without incident as JBL and Undertaker went on the half a decent contest. JBL had the clear advantage the entire match after he low blowed Taker behind the referees back. JBL thought he had the match won after he nailed Taker with a powerbomb, but Taker kicked out. The end of the match came when Taker ducked a clothesline from hell attempt from JBL and picked JBL and set him up for the Tombstone. Before he could hit the tombstone, Edge came into the ring and nailed Taker in the back with a chair, causing a DQ.

After the match, Edge continued the beatdown of Undertaker with a chair, hitting him with it a good five times. Edge then told JBL to get him another chair. JBL got a chair and brought it into the ring. Edge laid the chair under Undertaker's head. JBL held Taker down, and Edge gave Taker a One Man Conchairto. Edge then yelled at Undertaker that he will take back the World Heavyweight Title in sixteen days. Edge then stood over a bloody Undertaker as Smackdown ended.

WWE Monday Night RAW
April 14th 2008
Lexington Kentucky

Last week on RAW, we saw the beginning of the King of the Ring tournament, which saw The Intercontinental Champion Mr. Kennedy, The Big Show, Paul Burchil and Shawn Michaels advance to the semi-finals. Tonight on RAW, we will see the semi-finals of the tournament. In one match, it will be Mr. Kennedy taking on The Big Show and Shawn Michaels taking on the impressive rookie Paul Burchill. Who will advance to the finals at Backlash? Find out tonight on RAW!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raw opens up as always with a great pyro display. The camera then goes over to Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler who welcome us to RAW. They promote the two King of the Ring semi-final matches for tonight and the main event of the evening, which is John Cena taking on “The Samoan Bulldozer” Umaga.

After Jim Ross finished talking, we hear the music of the Intercontinental Champion Mr. Kennedy, who comes out to a good amount of heat. Before the match starts, he reaches his hand up to the ceiling and grabs the microphone that falls down. He promotes himself, calling himself a future hall of famer and future King of the Ring. Before he could finish, the music of the Big Show fills the arena, who comes out to a good pop. Mr. Kennedy looks pissed at the Big Show for interrupting him.

The match begins with Mr. Kennedy on the attack, nailing Big Show with rights and lefts to the back on Big Show trying to start the match with an advantage. It doesn’t work, as the Big Show shoves Kennedy off of him to the outside of the ring. Kennedy then comes into the ring and challenges the Big Show to a test of strength, which the Big Show and the fans laugh at. When Kennedy says that he is serious, he and Show lock up. Kennedy gives Show a blatant low blow, which the referee could not see since he was behind the Big Show at the time.

Kennedy had the upper hand on The Big Show for most of the match after this. Kennedy worked on the both of the Big Show’s arms, his strategy being that if Big Show’s arms are hurt that he could not pick him up for the chokeslam. Big Show made his comeback after clotheslining Kennedy as he jumped off of the top rope. Big Show nailed Kennedy with a few chops and a couple of bodyslams, but that was about it. The end came when Big Show tried to chokeslam Kennedy, but Show could not as his arm was in severe pain. Kennedy then low blowed Show again, and nailed him with the Mic Check for the three count and advancement to the King of the Ring finals at Backlash against either Paul Burchill or Shawn Michaels.

We then went backstage to where Maria was interviewing John Cena, who is scheduled to face Umaga tonight. After a bit of flirting on Cena’s part, Maria got to the questions. She asked Cena about his thoughts on facing Umaga tonight. Cena said that he isn’t afraid of that fat Samoan slob whose only real claim to fame is having a pretty cool finisher. He then did an impersonation of Umaga, which Maria found pretty funny. The WWE Champion Randy Orton then walked into the picture. Orton told Cena that everything is a big joke to him. Orton told Cena that at Backlash, he wont be laughing. He said that what he will do to him at Backlash will not be a joke. Cena told Orton that he doesn’t expect it to be a joke. Cena told Orton that at Backlash in thirteen days, he will take back the WWE Championship.

We then go further backstage, to where William Regal is drinking a cup of tea. There is a knock at the door and Regal tells him to come in. Triple H walks into the scene, which the crowd gives a HUGE pop too. He tells Regal that he wants to be added to the Cena Vs. Orton match at Backlash. Regal told Triple H that he will be involved in the match, but he will have “Run the Gauntlent” first. Regal told Triple H that tonight, he will have to beat his choice of five superstars from either RAW or Smackdown and that if he can defeat all five, he will be added to the WWE Championship match at Backlash.

Our second contest of the night was between one half of the World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Brian Kendrick. Both of their partners where banned from ringside for this match. This was a pretty even match for the most part, with both men having about equal offense. The end of the match came when Rhodes threw Kendrick into the turnbuckle. Rhodes then ran at Kendrick, but Kendrick moved and Rhodes ran into the turnbuckle. Kendrick then rolled Rhodes up for the victory. Kendrick celebrated his victory with Paul London, who came from the backstage area on the entrance ramp as Rhodes looked at them in anger as we went to a commercial break.

When we came back from the break, we see Mike Adamle. He says that he is standing by with one of King of the Ring semi-finalists…Shawn Michaels. Michaels walks into the picture to a great pop. Adamle asks Michaels about his thoughts on his opponent tonight in the King of the Ring tournament Paul Burchill. Michaels admits that he doesn’t know much about Burchill, but that he knows that he is one hell of a competitor. Michaels then plugs his book and dvd “Heatbreak and Triumph.” Paul Burchill then walks into the picture. He tells Michaels that after tonight, he will know how good he is.

We then go to the arena, where we hear the music of Jeff Hardy, who comes out to a HUGE pop. Hardy made his return last week in a losing effort against Shawn Michaels in the King of the Ring Quarter finals. His opponent, Santino Merella comes out to a good amount of heat. The match itself was decent, but nothing to special. It was used only to get Hardy on television since they have nothing for him at this point. Hardy gets the victory after the Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb. Hardy celebrates the victory as we go to the backstage area.

We go backstage, to where Maria is standing by with the Intercontinental Champion Mr. Kennedy. She asks Kennedy who he would rather face in the finals: Shawn Michaels or Paul Burchill. Kennedy says that he doesn’t care who it is. He calls Michaels a washed up has-been. Kennedy goes as far as calling Michaels “The Has been Kid.”

When we come back from the break, we hear the music of Paul Burchill, who comes out to a good amount of heat from the crowd for the final King of the Ring semi-final match. Burchill looks focused. After a couple of seconds of waiting, we hear the familiar music of Shawn Michaels, who comes out to a HUGE pop.

The match starts off with Michaels and Burchill having a staredown. After a couple of seconds, Burchill slaps Michaels. Michaels comes back with even a bigger slap which knocks Burchill down. Burchill then comes back at Michaels and tackles him, sending both men to the outside of the ring. Burchill and Michaels brawled on the outside, which included Michaels slamming Burchill’s head into the steel steps and Burchill picking up Michaels and slamming his back into the steel ring post.

After they got back into the ring, they went on to have an excellent match. A TV Match of the Year Candidate level match. They both went at it for twenty plus minutes, with both men kicking out of each others finisher. Here is the ending of the match:

ENDING- Burchill throws Michaels into the turnbuckle. Burchill goes over to Michaels and puts him on top of the turnbuckle. It looks like Burchill is looking for a top rope C-4, but Michaels punches Burchill in the face a few times. Michaels then shoves Burchill, who crashes to the canvas below. Michaels then delivers his trademark elbow drop from the top rope to Burchill. Michaels covers Burchill. 1...2..Burchill kicks out. Michaels then goes over to a corner, and starts to tune up the band for Sweet Chin Music. Michaels goes for it, but Burchill ducks. Burchill then knees Michaels in the gut. Burchill goes for the C-4, but Michaels gets out of it. Michaels then nails Burchill with the second Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere. Michaels falls on top of Burchill. 1.….2.…3!!!

After the match, Michaels waits for Burchill to get up. When he does, Michaels extends his hand to Burchill as a sign of respect. After a couple of seconds of hesitation, he accepts and the two shake hands, which receives a huge pop from the crowd. They continue to shake hands as we go to a commercial break.

When we come back from the break, we hear the music of Triple H, who comes out to a HUGE pop for his gauntlet match tonight. We then hear the music of RAW General Manager William Regal. He reminds Triple H that if he wins, he will be added to the WWE Championship Match at Backlash. He then tells Triple H that his first opponent is….CARLITO!! Carlito comes out to a decent amount of heat.

OPPONENT#1- Carlito- This was pretty much a short squash match. Carlito got some offense in, but not much. Triple H got the victory after a Double A Spinebuster and a Pedigree after about three minutes. Triple H shows Regal that he didn’t break a sweat. We then hear the music of his second opponent, The Great Khali, who comes down to the ring to no reaction as nobody cares about him.

OPPONENT#2- The Great Khali- This match lasted longer than the first match, but not by much. Khali dominated the entire match after Triple H came out of nowhere and nailed Khali with a Double A Spinebuster. Triple H then covered Khali for the three count after about four minutes. As soon as the match ended, we heard the music of Big Daddy V, who came out with his manager Matt Striker.

OPPONENT#3- Big Daddy V- This match was very much like the Khali match: very slow paced and boring as hell. Luckily, the match ended after about four minutes after Triple H threw Big Daddy V into steel steps, and Big Daddy V got counted out. After the match ended, Mark Henry came from the crowd and attacked Triple H, starting the fourth match.

OPPONENT#4- Mark Henry- This was the third man Triple H faced in this gauntlet that was over 400 pounds. This was the longest match in the gauntlet so far. Henry worked on Triple H’s back most of the match. The end came when Triple H got out of a World’s Stronget Slam attempt and kicked Henry in the gut and pedigreed the fat man for the three count after five minutes.

Triple H started to celebrate, thinking he won the gauntlet. However, William Regal made his way back to the ring. He told Triple H that he has one last opponent for tonight. After a few seconds, we heard the music of the WWE Champion Randy Orton, who came out dressed to wrestle.

OPPONENT#5- Randy Orton- This match was the longest of the gauntlet by far. Twelve minutes to be exact. The end of the match came when Orton went for the RKO, but Triple H reversed it into a roll-up for the three count and the victory at the 12:45 mark.

After the match, Triple H’s music played over the loud speaker as Randy Orton looked on in shock. Triple H’s music was interrupted when William Regal came out. He told Triple H that since he won the Gauntlet, he will be involved in the WWE Championship match at Backlash….but not as a participant….but as the SPECIAL GUEST ENFORCER!! Triple H looked on at Regal with a stare of shock as we go to a commercial.

When we come back from the break, we see Triple H walking backstage breathing heavily and breaking things. Triple H is then met by William Regal and arena security. Regal tells Triple H that he is going to removed from the arena as the current state that he is in is a threat to the other workers. Triple H walks off with security without incident.

We go back to the arena and hear the music of Umaga hit, as it is now time for our main event of the evening. After a couple of seconds, we hear the music of John Cena, who comes out to a mixed reaction as usual. Before the match can begin, we hear the music of WWE Champion Randy Orton, who comes down to the ring to do commentary with Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

The match finally begins. The match was a very intense brawl, with both men having a very heavy hitting style. Cena seemed to injure his shoulder during the match after Umaga shoved him into the steel ring post early in the match. Cena eventually got the victory after Umaga missed a splash into the corner, and walked right into a F-U for the three count and the victory.

As soon as the match ended, Randy Orton slid into the ring behind John Cena. When Cena turned around, Orton immediately RKO’ed Cena. Orton stood over Cena and told him that he had no chance at Backlash. Triple H then came from the crowd and turned Orton around. Triple H then Pedigreed Orton. Triple H grabbed the WWE Championship and held it up high as RAW went of the air.
