You know, I'm watching a clip on youtube from he attitude era. When Mr. McMahon announces himself as the higher power, and it got me wondering.
Why don't people book angles like this in the BTB section. Why do people book more generic stuff like nowadays? Do people not like attitude era booking? I'm just curious thats all

I was actually thinking about the same topic a few months ago. I am planning a BTB right now that will hopefully be out pretty soon. I have many Attitude Era like stuff in store!

Alot of people don't book Attitude era style because it is high-risk and it could go terribly wrong.
As asked earlier, can Jushin Liger still do a SSP?

I don't think its the risk that scares people. The only way to get reward is through risk. There are many great and successful BTBs here, so there has to have been some risk. One problem I might be the imagery, since alot of the things in the Attitude Era were sort of difficul to visualise unless you were watching it. Another reason might be this section's shroud of realism and maybe the fear to break it. That might be what people are afraid of. Oh well.

Edit: It's a bit hard to create some attitude era booking when they had 4 good solid years of it. People don't want to be seen as copying IMO.

There's no such thing as copying "Attitude Era booking", unless you do the exact same storylines. Attitude Era booking, in my opinion refers to a style of booking, not a set of storylines or anything like that. |
