I have two favourite matches that I've written. One was The Worlds Greatest Tag Team taking on LAX in a Ladder Match and the other was a one on one match between Edge and Shawn Michaels. Unfortunately when my computer fried, I lost the match so it will never get to see the light of day.

Pretty sure a question like this has been asked before, but I'll ask again.

Would people mind if someone had a long title reign? I know it could get stale but I don't see how it would be bad if he got new feuds alot and I kept it from getting stale.

No one would mind at all I think. Long reigns or short reigns; it's all about personanal preference. I prefer long reigns, but Attitude Era buffs like this jobber I know prefer short reigns obviously. Depends on the wrestler too.

This is a stupid question IMO but i am going to ask it anyway

While writing shows out i am struggling to know what sort of style too write in. Can anyone suggest any which would be for recap shows?!

For promos, just write a brief summary of what was said. For example: "Edge came out to the ring and talked about how he was stronger, faster, and better overall than Cena. Cena then came out and sucked up to Edge, but he then talked about his accomplishments and noted that Edge hadn't done any of the things he had done. Suddenly, Edge hit Cena with a right hand and a brawl began which ended when Cena hit an FU on Edge." Something very simple like that.

For the promos just says stuff like Orton came out and got cheap heat by calling the fans and then get onto serious matters and discussed his title match at the Great American Bash...

Like that...

for the matches just do then ending with a brief summary of who was dominating the match for that part.

I mean like what format. Like colouring and such. I want to make the shows look good as i feel its hard to read a show when it isn't written out neatly!

SmackDown! - Promos in blue + matches in black with who is fighting underlined and bolded before you've wrote the match.

RAW - Promos in Red + matches in black with who is fighting underlined and bolded before you've wrote the match.

ECW - Promos in Purple + matches in black with who is fighting underlined and bolded before you've wrote the match.

Like Legend said, its personal preference. I love long title regins, as I think it gives credibility to both the title and the holder, but others may not like keeping one person hogging the limelight of sorts with one strap of gold. It really basically (like everything in booking) boils down to whatever you think is right.

I'd go with what Lashley said here, or if you want try to look around at some of the other recapped shows. WCW Rules, DC among others have great recap forms that're easy to read. Not saying copy them, just pick up a few pointers, even if it is just formatting.

Now then, I'm going to answer my own question in a sence. My favorite match I've ever written was my Rock/Orton match from my No Way Out PPV. Was it my best match? No. But it was my first real main event in BTB and I loved the way it flowed, even if it was a little short. No one expected the finish and I've written better matches, but this one's my fave
