Don't do them.
Concentrate more on your shows. Little articles will do nothing to be honest, it's the show that counts.

Re: BTB Discussion Thread - July 2008
I have to disagree.
I would write the news reports and articles. They're entertaining to read, and thye can often add alot to the thread.
Of course you need them, what are you going to do when someone gets injured, or something along those lines?

I say do whatever you want but I would write articles and stuff because it's enjoyable to read.

If you want to keep the reader reading, produce the best shows you can. Stupid little articles won't help your cause, I can assure you.
|
But surely It would make your BTB more realistic or more depth added?

Re: BTB Discussion Thread - July 2008
I prefer threads which have allsorts of different things in. To me a thread isn't great just because it has awesome shows. For me it needs reports, blogs, wwe.com announcements.
Also I like reading what the rating was so you can see how the company is doing just like real life.
Just little things like that work for me.

Don't do it, simple.
Concentrate on your shows. Yes you could do ratings and all that crap, but concentrate on your shows.

Re: BTB Discussion Thread - July 2008
Listen, I was not disregarding using articles to sell injuries or report news, but only once in a while, not EVERY week.
You asked whether it would keep the reader interested and the fact is, it won't, only your shows will keep the reader interested, providing they are good enough.
Cluttering it with all kids of crap won't make your BTB seem better, its a fact. Look at Maccy and Legend's threads. Do you see any extra stuff? No, and they are still FAR and AWAY the best threads active at the moment.
