Re: BTB Discussion Thread - July 2008
I have two ideas from the BTB I used to do (which was actually just me writing everything out in a notebook) that I wanted to get some opinions on.
Most writers like to use Wrestling News Site reports to introduce newly signed wrestlers, possible storylines, backstage rumors etc. Well I was thinking of using these reports for all that and also to give the results to the Developmental territory's show that week. Though my developmental territory has superstars from TNA like Samoa Joe, MCMG, AJ Styles etc. I just wanted to get opinions on this.
Also I wanted to know what people think of midcarders main eventing pay-per views. I don't mean the Big 4 PPV's or having a midcarder in a world title feud. I mean the world title match is earlier in the night or the world champ is involved in a non-title match while the main event is a high profile US title match or something like that.

I am going to be starting a new BTB soon, as you probably know but what good articles should I do to keep the reader reading and kind of a more realistic BTB. Like news from wwe.com, wrestling websites artciles? Any advice?

Wrestling website articles are good, or just some news from WWE.com. Maybe a power 25, and a sit down interview's are always good, but I wouldn't blame you if you couldn't be bothered doing it.

If you want to keep the reader reading, produce the best shows you can. Stupid little articles won't help your cause, I can assure you.

Well, for the first question, as long as it doesn't take priority over the actual shows. It'd be a nice touch, and as long as it doesn't effect or distract you from doing the actual shows, i'd like to see it.
For the second question, first of all, I myself am not a believer in the main-event/mid-card/jobber type of labeling. I mean, if a midcarder is main eventing a PPV, obviously he's not a midcarder. To me, its just people with different amounts of momentum. Now to your actual question, i'd tentatively say that its ok. To be honest, it'd be hard to do it without damaging the prestige of your title match, but with the right amount of build, it can happen.

Re: BTB Discussion Thread - July 2008
Okay, so i'm thinking of starting a current day TNA BTB soon, but im not very happy with the current rosters but I don't want to just change the rosters, I wnat to have a little story to it while not making it unrealistic, which will be hard with me wantting to bring back guys like Raven and Sabu, while losing Samoa Joe. Anyone have any ideas to help me?

Re: BTB Discussion Thread - July 2008
I think you would be better working that out for yourself TBH as you don't want and we don't want to know your back-story and such. They should all be worked out by themselves and TBH i don't know what you can say .
