WWE - The Time Has Come
Yes, yes I know. I said I'd probably never be back and I always said that I've NEVER write WWE but here we are in only my Second Be the Booker thread after my last BTB ended on 20th May.
No need for a fancy backstory. I will be picking up after Judgement Day 2008 and will progress forward with recaps until a particular date when I see fit to start writing full shows. My recaps will include important events from each show for the entire month as well as the PPV/PPV’s that go with it. No flashy Roster changes to begin, I’m gonna stick with the same garbage they use now but I’ll change things around a bit in time.
The only change to previous events that I’m making is that William Regal NEVER won the King of the Ring on Raw since I’m bringing back the King of the Ring Pay Per View and using it instead of One Night Stand for June and ONS will move to October to replace Cyber Sunday. If some of the results for the first few shows are similar to the actual real life results, then that’s purely a coincidence because this has been in the works for a little while.
For those that missed the Judgement Day 2008 results were as follows:
Triple H def. Randy Orton
Triple H retains.
The Undertaker def. Edge
(Via Count Out in a Match for the Vacant World Heavyweight Championship. It was declared that the World Title remain vacant since it can’t change hands on a count out)
Shawn Michaels def. Intercontinental Champion; Chris Jericho
John Cena def. John Bradshaw Layfield
Jeff Hardy def. Montel Vontavious Porter
John Morrison & The Miz def. Kane & CM Punk
Miz & Morrison retain.
Mickie James def. Beth Phoenix & Melina
Mickie retains.

Re: WWE - The Time Has Come
OMFG! Sad to see EPW go, but WWE threadz, written by top bookers, are where it is at. Good luck my friend. Been missing you in the Diary. Glad you've been reading tho. Don't kill yourself to review Starrcade if that's the case. Royal Rumble will be up in a weeks time. Glad I'm at the top of your 'list'.
Anyway, glad to see One Night Stand outski, and KOR back in. Regal makes a good King, but crowning your own is ownage. Good luck pal, and I will certainly be interested to see what you do. Originality, plz.
Edit: Wait, so I've noticed ONS will happen later in the year. All good, and glad to see KOR back nonetheless. Also, you've Holly and Haas listed as tag champions on Raw...? I thought you said only one change.

Re: WWE - The Time Has Come
Goodluck with this thread. I like that you're keeping ECW and isn't the world title vacant? It says Edge is champ

Re: WWE - The Time Has Come
Thanks Naitch. My computer fucked up and I lost everything for EPW. Damn shame. Oh well. You're most certainly the top of my list along with KOP and DC. I will endeavour to be original, in fact you have been somewhat of a motivation to me with your recaps as I will be going in a similar path.
On a side note, I never realised how fucking horrible the current WWE Roster is/was until I typed it out. Things will change, quickly.

Re: WWE - The Time Has Come
Dude it's great to see your back.
They always say that they are leaving but they are back in no time! Haha well some that is. Despite WWE not having the best roster right now I'm confident you can make the most out of it until we see you bring a few names in. RVD for ECW champion plz! Other than that pretty much everything looks nice and I'll be looking for the first set of recaps, etc.
Good luck!

Re: WWE - The Time Has Come
Haha, no surprise to see you're back. As KOP said, many top bookers say they'll never return but they all come eventually, even if it with just one more thread. *cough*
Anyways, good luck for this thread and I hope you establish something different here in BTB.

Re: WWE - The Time Has Come
You're not wrong about the rosters. There an absloute mess in my opinion. However, saying that, I'm looking forward to see what you can do with them, also I'm looking forward to seeing the changes you make regarding the roster.
I always used to read EPW, didn't review it much mind, but it was a fun little project to read. I wish you the best of luck with this. I'll be reading.

Shame about EPW, but it's going to be great to see you put your skills to some WWE goodness. KOTR PPV's are sweet, so that'll be a nice debut for you. Punk as King plz.
This should be epic, Para. Place just wasn't the same without ya'

Re: WWE - The Time Has Come
Like Legend i certainly did mark.
I didn't ever leave comments in your last thread, actually maybe once or twice but i was a reader and you proved yourself as a great booker. WWE will be tough as you said the current rosters absolute suck and i hope you can change them quickly. A part from that everything looks great and drop me a PM or something when the show is up
Jamie1!
