RYU review for SD
Hawkins/Ryder vs. Jesse/Festus: I hope this should be a good match. It was good not bad at all and i was rooting for Jesse n Festus victory and do zack n ryder has ever used SPEAR if so then i havent seen them using it and by the way who is your tag champs. The match was good and good win for them.
Y2J segment" Very good looking promo by Y2J and wow this is huge. Y2j vs Taker feud has already started in ur btb tht is great and hope you do a great job with it looking forward to tonight;s ME/
Finlay vs MVP: I didnt understand what was going on seriously. He is Finlay not a jobber and u used Finlay has a jobber now thats not Kool and i didnt liked it aswell and how do you write your match. Like u write the ending only or the summary of the whole match. this one was very confusing and i have to say Bad booking here. If you had to job Finlay then you should have used someone better who is used to job like Wang yang or shannon moore. I like the aftermath promo by MVP. Nice to see MVP in US title hunt.
John Morrison vs. Chavo Guerrero: This was very good match and it was a good back and forth match between the two and im liking this match for US TITLE hunt and it looks like US Title will be a fatal four way and a great win for John. I wish either Finlay or John wins the US title. So good win and good match.
Mark Henry vs. Rey Mysterio and Cryme Tyme (JTG & Shad): This match came as a surprise and Teddy as ur GM so no wonder why this match cant happen in real aswell.
So a handicap match looks one sided but this time its more of a Henry side match but im surprised to see Rey picking up the win for his team which i liked as i thought u will be pushing Henry for the win so thank god it didnt happened.
John segment: Another good segment by John it looks like you are very good at doing backstage segments and promos so kudos for tht. Hope John wins US tITLe. NOC is shaping up nicely.
HBK Promo: This was very short but well done and i think you should have given him some more mic time as it was his return and wow this is huge n 2 weeks u got two bg stars return m excited to see this how it turns out and cant wait for Orton return in real and in your btb so should be a great rivalry.
cena vs JBL: I really hate it when a match between two superstars is already booked for a ppv so why put them again in a match at a weekly show. To me it looks not good. Becoz it becomes boring watching same guy fight again and again so i didnt like this decision booking wise but the match was ppv quality TBH and i was surprised to see JBL with being victorious but i didnt mind cuz tht means CENA will win the PPV match then. so its all good.
Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho: Absolutely great match no doubt and it had to be MOTN. I loved it even though it ended in a dq but still i loved it. I really love this heel Y2J. So this wil really put him on top by doing such bad damage to Taker and tht was great booking and it adds more great value to their rivalry.
Overall: Agood show with a couple of small bad booking tht i didnt liked but other then tht it was a good show and the ME stole the show. So good luck for ur next show.
Hey all, I'm TheGreatLorenzo. Thanks to ryu for the feedback on what he thinks of the feuds on SmackDown, that way I know what is popular and what is not. This week's SD will be written by me, so it's nice to know what I should continue with on the show.
The firework’s burst out on the show as the fans at the arena go crazy as this is going to be another special night! JR speaks out that tonight we will have two contender matches and in the screen it shows that it will be Batista going up against Big Show and Triple H for the WWE Championship. Also, there is going to be another contender match who involves Jeff Hardy going up against Matt Hardy and also Santino Marella. The King says that, that’s not the only matches since another match is announced and it is Kane going one on one with CM Punk! In 6 days it is Night of Champions!
JR goes over some of the matches at Night of Champions as the little package shows all the superstars. He first says that the main event will be Rey Mysterio versus John Cena versus JBL for the World Heavyweight Championship. The next match he says is the United States Championship match between John Morrison, MVP and Finlay. The last two matches he talks about are the World Tag Team Championships and the Women’s Championships.
Then Edge’s theme hits as he comes out with a mic and goes down the ramp and into the ring. He does not come alone as Shelton Benjamin and Haas accompany him. He now places the mic to his mouth and starts to speak.
He talks about his win last week when he speared CM Punk. He says that he has proven to each and every one of the people that Edge is known as a man who is the ultimate opportunist. He says that Punk got what he deserved and said that he does not suit with the main eventers. Edge then looks over to Shelton and says that WWE need more guys like them. After a few moments of talking about Punk, he then talks about the people he may have the possibility to face at Night of Champions. He says that he is capable of beating all 3 of them. He has already had chances with Batista and says that this guy can never give up. He also says that the Big Show would not scare him and is able to spear him bad. Then finally he goes on to talk about Triple H. He says that this guy was one of the best 8 years ago and says his past his prime. He then says that he has past him in many ways. He says that he is a bigger star now and Triple H is now second to him. He was about to leave but out came Triple H as his theme hits.
He had a mic with him and said to cut the music. He was going to stay there and not come down to the ring. He picked his mic up and started to speak. He says that Edge has a lot to learn because clearly he did not learn too well when Triple H was one of the biggest hate in the company. He says that people hated him when he was champion and admits he did a lot of crazy things but came out on top even with stars like the Rock. He then says that Edge should not even be compared to him. He says this is now and that was back then. Back when Edge was stuck in a tag team. Edge then talks back by saying Triple H should shut his mouth because he did not like the talk of where he was 8 years back. He then says that Triple H went to being one stale person and Triple H was not even getting titles for 3 years! He says that he has gotten the most titles than anyone has and that is 5 major titles in like 2 years. He then says he is the fastest growing superstar today and better than what Triple H ever did. It goes on like this and then ends when both superstars stare at each other.

Ok. Last Raw before Night Of Champions, good opening commentary. Nice to hear SmackDown talk in there too.
Edge comes out, right move. He's the one in the driver's seat, 'cause he's already qualifed, so he can taunt everyone else and gloat about how great he is... which is exactly what he does, well done. Haas and Benjamin out with him is good, too. My only thought is that he might have said something different with the Big Show, like he's too clumsy or something, rather than that he could Spear him, which, if I had watched it, would make me shake my head, and that would take away the hate factor in the promo. Still, most of it is pretty damn realistic, so nicely done. The Triple H/Edge argument I can imagine watching on my TV screen. It was good. Plus, now we've had a segment with Triple H as well, and as the show moves on, we see segments with Batista and Big Show, which is a good move, having all the Triple Threaters for later have their time to speak about it.
Nice match-up here. Kendrick looked to have won it, but Haas interferes, and Benjamin gets it. That's what I would expect to happen, and it shows the friendship within the stable. This might set them up for a bigger fall when it comes apart. The thing is, your matches don't have tension. Example: 'He did not know that Shelton was behind him as he did a Paydirt finisher on him.'This to me says that it was rather boring and uninteresting, no offence intended, constructive criticism. What you might want instead would be something like this: 'But Benjamin's right behind him! Kendrick turns! Paydirt! Kendrick hits the mat at the hands of the Gold Standard's finisher!' I just think that with all the good work you did building up the opening part, it deserves a good ending, and one with lots of tension. Sorry about my rant here. Still, the booking was good, the match-writing was good, and what happens at the finish is good. Only your last paragraph needs work here, really.
Interview sounded realistic, I could imagine it happening. I liked it.
Oh man, Mickie's got it won, then Katie Lea ruins it! Beth getting the pinfall is good, gives her momentum for NOC, but if you were really trying to get momentum for Beth, it probably would have been a better idea to have her Fisherman Suplex Mickie or something. But a cheating win for Beth gets the crowd booing, and it makes her the slight favourite for the title at NOC.
This backstage segment with the Hardyz and Santino is the best one you did. First, the Hardyz were really friendly, but then they turned on each other, as it would inevitably go. Marella's speech was realistic and funny. I really enjoyed that, but 'fuming' is definitely the right word! Can imagine the Hardyz really want to kick Santino's ass after that. Nice segment to hype the IC qualifying match.
I'm guessing by what Kennedy said that he is a heel. I prefer him as a face, but he was cool as a heel too. This makes me think that a face will win the match, to set up a face/heel clash for NOC. So I predict a Hardy win here. And... I'm wrong. Really nice writing in the match-up, and a good finish. I'm sure we all know about how Jeff sits up in exhaustion after his Swanton, but I never thought about someone stealing the pinfall while he does that! Clever writing here, and a good way to have Santino win the match - he can't win any other way.
This segment was really funny. I thought it was great. Slightly pointless, to be honest, but good humour, nonetheless. Corn fields? Not quite understanding that. Ah well. Nice segment.
CM Punk/Kane is a nice match. Last week's two losing Triple Threaters, I think. Ah, Punk loses again. Ok, this match was good. There was some very nice writing in here. Only thing is, it said Punk did the GTS, but failed to kick him. That basically means he didn't do the GTS, cause he had to kick him to make it a GTS. Anyway, Kane winning is a good move, because unless Punk was getting a Main Event push, which he probably isn't after losing last week, Punk wouldn't have beaten Kane.
I really liked most of what Big Show said here. All his lines but one were exactly what he would say. Only thing is, he called himself a monster. I don't know why he would do that. Still, you've had segments with all three Triple Threaters, and they've hyped it up quite well. Good thing it's next, I can't wait.
Right, this match was great. I didn't know who would win, and it was a really good finish. I thought the IC Triple Threat would be best, but compared to this... Great match. Still, after the match, Edge Spears Batista, which I knew he would, but I'm amazed that Triple H and Big Show just stood there. I would have thought that they'd Pedigree or Chokeslam him to show how great they are.
Overall, a really good show. Lots of unpredictability, and some very good match writing. Another though, btw, is that you don't say much about the crowd. It'd be nice to hear about if the crowd is booing or cheering during entrances, to build the atmosphere more. Anyway, a great last Raw before Night Of Champions, 8/10.
