Smackdown Preview

Last week, there was a 6 man tag team match consisting of JBL, Rey Mysterio and John Cena who went up against Chris Jericho, Umaga and Undertaker. We all found out that at Night of Champions it will be JBL vs. Rey Mysterio vs. John Cena. We have heard that JBL and Rey Mysterio are involved in matches this week on Smackdown, who are the opponents?

The main event has been decided and it is going to be Chris Jericho & Umaga going up against The Undertaker & John Cena. We all know that Y2J screwed Undertaker last week. Why has he got problems with him?

Also, HBK is going to debut on Smackdown and will speak out what he thinks about being on Smackdown as he has been invited in the VIP Lounge which is hosted by MVP.

Also, will there be any news for what the US Championship and WWE Tag Team Championships matches will be and who it will consist of?

Find all this out this week on Smackdown!

I am guessing the past superstar is Brock Lesnar. Smackdown is looking great, can't wait.

WWE has more news on the new superstar as they have learned that he will debut in like a month and has been officially announced he will now be on RAW since smackdown already have tons of main eventers, we have also learned that they are training young stars to come to WWE, any new faces may turn up in the next 2-3 months.
Smackdown will probably be done by next Saturday and then I am going to holiday for 11 days so I will resume after that.

The King of Kings Feedback of Raw

The opening match I liked, I thought Batista was going to go over which doesn’t bother me but would love to see Matt get pushed as I am a big fan of his. The match itself was good having Batista looking strong before Matt’s flurry was good. I noticed Matt poking the eye, a heel move I thought but then crowd was chanting his name which confused a little but not terribly.

The thing I have with this promo is that Edge was not really in character. I can’t imagine Edge not wanting help. It was all a bit odd. Then from nowhere he wants to join up after his whole speech that he can do it on his own. It was for the wwe title though so meh...
I like the idea of a stable but Benjamin should be a singles guy tbh

A handicap match so is Khali a face then, anyway I like how it happened straight away and Edge stayed and watched. The result was a bit dull but I can see Why you went for it. It makes sense.

Big Show vs. Santino to get a shot at the WWE title. Well the result is be predictable, unless...no you couldn’t...maybe...

Well you didn’t go for the shock lol. You went for the right move here. Big Show looked strong against Santino. I lol’d at him doing the Big Show’s chokeslam taunt.

Really, I didn’t like the McCool – Mickie promo it just seemed a bit lacklustre. McCool claiming to be the best Diva was stupid (not on your part) on hers...I don’t like her lol

I liked this match and I like the idea of a Team Priceless feud with Londrick. The interaction on the outside definitely added to the match especially since it leads to the end of it. Rhodes getting the dirty finish was good booking as it can continue the feud.

CM Punk interview was very well done; you got him over as not wanting to be known as an underdog. Nice to see he has his sights set high, I still think Edge will win that match but Punk winning could really get him over. Quick question, does he still have his MITB? I would mark if you had him cash it in on a vacated title if that is possible.

This was MOTN as it was exciting from start to finish and I actually though you were gonna give Hardy the win for a second. Having Triple H kicking out of the Swanton bomb made him look really strong. The reversal of the twist of fate into the pedigree was a cool finish.

I went back and read your first show and to be honest it wasn’t all that impressive for me. However upon reading this show it is obvious to see the improvement in such a short space of time. I like the tourney Ideas and your matches are good. I would have maybe liked to have seen another promo but other than that it was a good show. 7/10

I have forgotten all about the MITB that CM Punk had lol so I will just leave that out now. If I had thought of it before then maybe I would've done something like that. Thanks for the review.

Friday Night Smackdown!

Friday 13th June – Fresno, CA

*WWE: World Wrestling Entertainment*

*Video recap of last week’s 6 man tag team match. Shows Cena doing the FU on Umaga and the build up to the match. It also shows Chris Jericho attacking Undertaker and the things he said to him*

*Rise Up hits as Smackdown is now on air*

*PYRO*
*PYRO*
*PYRO*
*PYRO*

Cole: Welcome to Friday Night Smackdown! And we have a great show here for you tonight!

Foley: Tonight we have a huge main event and it is a tag team match which involves Chris Jericho & Umaga who will take on John Cena & the Undertaker!

Cole: Not only that, we also have Rey Mysterio going one on one with John Morrison!

Foley: And JBL going one on one with Trevor Murdoch.

Cole: Well next up is the VIP lounge and MVP has invited the legendary HBK who debuts to Smackdown!

*Inside the ring MVP is there with his mic and he’s set up all the things there too*

*Crowd boos and shouts HBK’s name*

MVP: Well now it’s time for the most entertaining part of the show. The VIP lounge!

*Crowd boos*

MVP: Only guys like me are invited and people with money are invited. People like you just watch because you guys aren’t that big and rich like me!

*Crowd boos*

MVP: Well, I stayed on Smackdown and did not get drafted which is a good thing as I am no where near Great Khali anymore or even Jeff Hardy and all the others I have feuded in the past. Smackdown is now the A show because I stayed on with legendary heroes like my next guest. Please welcome, the heartbreak kid Shawn Michaels!

‘Sexy Boy’ hits as the crowd erupts with cheers as he comes down to the VIP lounge!

MVP: Please sit down here HBK, and let’s get on with this show.

HBK: Thank you for inviting me MVP.

MVP: Well that’s no problem seeing that I grew up watching you in this very ring where you beat the best of the best. Remember all those year Shawn?

HBK: I certainly do and they were the greatest moments of my career.

MVP: Well I tell you another great moment for you, seeing as I failed to make him retire. You retired the great Ric Flair this Wrestlemania that’s just gone. What was it like for you to achieve this?

HBK: It was sensational and seeing you couldn’t do that makes me laugh. I did it with enthusiasm, with the sweet chin music and the crowd were so outstanding that I could just feel the movement of the match. And I also did it in the grandest stage of em all and that is Wrestlemania.

MVP: Hey watch yourself there, I tried my best and was about to win but no I was not going to win seeing that I am not a legend still. The only thing is that I am the highest paid Smackdown superstar and that what makes me a legend.

HBK: Well I have a question for you, would you rather be a highest paid wrestler with bad career like not win any world titles or would you rather be not the highest paid and win titles and get a huge name to the fans who will chant your name in 10 to 20 years time because that’s what they are doing to me.

*HBK chants everywhere in the arena as MVP looks with disgust*

MVP: Hey shut up, I am the best and these people know it. HBK you are not what I expected to be. You are one arrogant son of a b****!

*Crowd boos as HBK immediately goes for MVP and gets him down to the floor. He then also breaks the whole VIP lounge and throws the sofas and tables out from the ring. Then he goes back to MVP and starts punching him more and then the referees came and got HBK out from him*

Cole: MVP deserved it, HBK is right about accomplishing everything without being high paid where as MVP has just a huge mouth who will achieve nothing at this rate.

Foley: Never this HBK, I have known this guy for years and MVP needs to be put in the right place.

*Commercial Break*

Cole: Welcome back, Ladies and Gentleman. Next up is JBL going one on one against Trevor Murdoch!

‘Country Theme’ hits as Murdoch makes his way to the ring.

‘Longhorn’ hits as JBL makes his way to the ring.

Match 1 – Singles Match

JBL vs. Trevor Murdoch

Match Ending: The match has been dominated by JBL as Murdoch tries his best to get out of sleep holds and submission moves. Right now JBL has put Murdoch in a headlock and he is not getting out of it just yet. JBL then breaks it as he has been told and then he gets up and starts to kick Murdoch in the chest a couple of times. There is lots of heat throughout the match as JBL now goes for a Russian legsweep. He then goes for the pin 1…2… But Murdoch just kicks out and JBL gets angry. Then JBL grabs Murdoch but he reverses it and then does a Jawbreaker on JBL. He then goes down and then Murdoch starts to kick him loads in the leg and then he does a lariat on him. JBL is hurt on the leg as he tries to get up and do a move on Murdoch. Murdoch then grabs JBL which was not the best choice as JBL reverses it and punches him in the gut. He then does a swinging neckbreaker on him. For a moment, he waits for Murdoch to stand up and he does and JBL did a clothesline from hell on him. Murdoch goes down hard on the ground as JBL pins him 1…2…3!

Winner via Pinfall: JBL

JBL then looks on and grins as he knows this is how he will win the gold at Night of Champions.

*Commercial Break*

*Backstage: Hawkins & Ryder are talking to each other as Cryme Tyme come in*

Hawkins: What do you guys want?

JTG: Yo yo yo yo, what’s up?

Hawkins: We don’t roll like that JTG and if you have come here to piss us off then you might as well go back to raw since we are the future tag team champions.

Shad: Yo JTG? Can you tell me which one is which? They both look a like to me.

Ryder: I am Zack Ryder and this is Curt Hawkins. Well at least we don’t wear cheap stuff like you two do!

JTG: You say what? Look at yourself man, you need a haircut and so does your wife here.

Hawkins: Hey don’t call me that…

*Ryder pushes his partner back*

Ryder: Well I heard you’re facing us tonight and Teddy Long has also made a match at Night of Champions. It will be Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder against you two thugs against Jesse & Festus in a triple threat tornado tag match! Now if you please, I am getting ready for our match which is next.
Shad: We so going to win the title!

JTG: Let’s go man; he said our match is next.

*Commercial Break*

‘In the middle of it now’ hits as Hawkins & Ryder make their way to the ring.

‘Bringin da hood T U’ hits as Cryme Tyme make their way to the ring.

Match 2 – Tag Team Match

Hawkins & Ryder vs. Cryme Tyme

Match Ending: The match has been going on still with JTG and Hawkins going on for it. Hawkins has now tagged in Ryder but JTG has not tagged in Shad yet. Right now, Ryder comes in and starts to kick JTG in the face. He then grabs his arm and swings him to the other rope and then did powerful DDT on him. Ryder goes for the pin 1…2.. But Shad comes in to break the hold. Ryder did not like this and the ref tells Shad to go back to his place. Ryder now tags in Hawkins and both of them grab JTG and do another DDT on him. Hawkins now grabs JTG once again but this time JTG tries to get away by getting a few punches in on Hawkins. Still it did no affect as Hawkins went for a neckbreaker. Shad is getting impatient as once again Hawkins tags in Ryder and they both do a double catching hip toss backbreaker. JTG is not doing much at all and Ryder goes for the pin 1…2… But from nowhere JTG kicks out and Ryder could not believe it. Ryder then grabs JTG but he clotheslined him and Ryder goes down. JTG finally tags in Shad and all hell has broken loose. Shad punches out Hawkins who goes down outside of the arena and then he grabs Ryder and goes for a backbreaker. Then he tags in JTG again but this time they do their combination move. Shad goes for the leg slam and JTG does the splash. Shad kicks Hawkins in the face as JTG goes for the pin 1…2…3!

Winner via Pinfall: Cryme Tyme

They won their first match on Smackdown and they were celebrating loads.

*Night of Champions preview of all the matches made already and the theme tune of it too*

*Backstage: Snitsky is threatening Finlay*

Snitsky: Well Finlay, you are getting on my nerves. You’re talking too much and you came in my locker room and disturbed me. Finlay, I have been here longer than you and I am better than you.

Finlay: Well then, if you are so tough, face the person that is behind you in a match.

*Kane is behind and Snitsky gets scared when he sees him*

Kane: Snitsky, Me and you down the ring now.

*Kane laughs as Snitsky tries to run away to the ring.*

*Snitsky then goes in the ring as a ref is there as the match is official now*

‘Slow Chemical’ hits as Kane comes down to the ring.

Match 3 – Singles Match

Kane vs. Snitsky

Match Ending: Snitsky immediately tries to go and punch Kane but it does no affect as Kane punches him back and Snitsky goes down to the floor. Then Kane goes for an uppercut on Snitsky. He then picks him up but Snitsky reverses it and does a shortarm clothesline on Kane. He then goes down and Snitsky then tries to go for a pumphandle slam, he hit it and thought the match was over but Kane got up just immediately and Snitsky was shocked and started kicking Kane down more. Kane then punches Snitsky in the face and then did a running big boot on him. He then grabs Snitsky and does a two handed chokelift. He then grabbed Snitsky by the neck and did a powerful chokeslam on him. He goes for the pin 1…2…3!

Winner via Pinfall: Kane

After the match, Kane went and got a steel chair and he hit Snitsky with it multiple of times and then went away laughing.

*Commercial Break*

*Eve Torres is interviewing John Cena*

Eve: Hello, John Cena.

Cena: Hey Eve.

Eve: I want to ask you a few questions. We know you’re involved in a tag team match and it doesn’t really concern you much but in a few weeks time you will face JBL and Rey in a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Do you have anything to say about this?

Cena: You are right. I have something to say to JBL and Rey Mysterio that following on to Night of Champions, we will have a great battle and I have already seen JBL in action tonight and I got to say that you’re win impresses me. Now I know we will have some tough competition. I will probably get Clotheslined or 619’d but one thing is for certain. One of you or both of you will get FU’d. No matter how hard you hit your moves, John Cena will FU you straight down the ring. I have already done it to you JBL multiple of times and I am ready to do it again. Rey is not even a heavyweight so I don’t even know why he is in this match but even then Rey, you cannot and I mean you cannot beat John Cena cleanly. You may have beaten JBL but John Cena is better than JBL so I am much tougher competition than you expect. I may be no John Morrison but if you beat him then I consider you tough too. Where as now, I have a match tonight and I have got to partner with Undertaker and face Y2J and Umaga.

*Back to the ring*

Cole: Well next up is Rey Mysterio vs. John Morrison.

Foley: John Cena clearly hates Rey Mysterio so let’s see how Rey performs tonight.

‘Ain’t no making believe’ hits as John Morrison make his way to the ring.

‘Booyaka 619’ hits as Rey Mysterio makes his way to the ring.

Match 4 – Singles Match
Rey Mysterio vs. John Morrison

Match Ending: The match has started with both men looking strong. John Morrison is controlling Rey right now as he holds in the leg lock. Rey then reaches the ropes and Morrison had to break out of this hold. Rey is still not getting up as Morrison then grabs him and goes for a Russian legsweep. Mysterio is now down and Morrison is working on that leg area. Now Morrison starts kicking the leg and Mysterio can feel the pain loads. Morrison was finally told to get off of hurting it and so he did. Then after a few more kicks, he grabs Mysterio and then goes for a STO backbreaker and just about he was going to hit him on the ground, Mysterio does his own move and does a wheelbarrow counter which then turned into a bulldog. Morrison goes down and so does Mysterio as he does not move so the ref starts the counting 1..2..3..4..5..6 Mysterio nearly getting up 7. And he finally gets up and he then drags Morrison into a turnbuckle and did a foot choke. Morrison was down in the floor as Rey went up the top turnbuckle and was ready to do a frog splash. He hit it but Morrison dodged and Rey went down bashing his body hard in the ground. Morrison uses the ropes to get up as he then grabbed Mysterio’s head and went for a split-legged moonsault. Mysterio goes down and Morrison goes for the pin 1…2.. But Mysterio kicks out and the match is still continued. Morrison then started to kick Mysterio loads and then did a mini leg drop on him. Then he grabbed Mysterio once again but this time Mysterio did a West Coast Pop which lead to a pin 1…2… But Morrison kicks out and Mysterio does not believe this. Then he grabbed Morrison and did a leg feed enzuigiri which led him to the ropes. It was time for the 619 and he went to the other side, ran where Morrison was and he hit it. Then he jumped on top of Morrison and went for the pin 1…2…3!

Winner via Pinfall: Rey Mysterio

*Commercial Break*

Cole: We are back ladies and gentlemen and now is the time for the main event which consists of Chris Jericho & Umaga who are going to face John Cena & the Undertaker!

Foley: We have to mostly watch out for Y2J and Undertaker as this started all last week.

*Video shows last week’s main event and Y2J/Undertaker footage*

‘Break the Walls Down’ hits as Y2J makes his way to the ring.

Y2J: All right, cut the music, cut the music.

*Crowd boos*

Y2J: Before this match starts, I have a few things to say. First of all, people are wondering why I did this to the Undertaker. The only reason I did this is because I want to prove to each and every one of you that Y2J is a legend. I always had a dream to face the Undertaker and now is the chance. This guy makes me sick. He has been here for 18 years and his whole career has just been on top because of being deadman. Where as I have not been on top and I won the Undisputed Championship. The only reason I hate it is that you fans still think Undertaker is better than me. He is long gone.

*Crowd boos*

Y2J: These few years, he has done nothing and only has been unfortunate to have one month reigns and then getting injured. So what I am saying that the Undertaker’s future is cut short as I will be the last one to finish him off and then you people will always have the picture in your mind and that is going to be when I put the walls of Jericho on the Undertaker one day and he taps out. That day is going to come soon and when you least expect it.

‘Samoan’ hits as Umaga makes his way to the ring.

‘You Can’t See Me’ hits as John Cena makes his way to the ring.

*Long Pause*

‘Graveyard Symphony’ hits as the Undertaker makes his way to the ring as he looks at Chris Jericho dead in the eye.

Main Event – Tag Team Match

John Cena/the Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho/Umaga

Match Ending: The match has started out with still the same superstars in the ring and that is John Cena and Chris Jericho. Right now, John Cena is getting beat down by Jericho with him doing the knee to face move on Cena near Umaga’s turnbuckle. He then tags in Umaga and now Cena will get a great deal of beating by Umaga. Umaga grabs Cena and does a shortarm clothesline on him. Undertaker is staring dead at Y2J and vice versa. Now Umaga says something gibberish and then picks Cena up again but this time Cena gets away with it by doing DDT. Both men are down and want to get to their partners to tag them in. Umaga saw that Cena was getting close so he drags Cena’s legs towards him and starts kicking his head. He then grabs him and goes for a swinging side slam. Cena then goes down as Umaga goes for the pin 1…2… But Cena kicks out in no time and the match is still on. Umaga then tags in Chris Jericho again. Jericho then does multiple punches to Cena’s head. He then swings him to the other ropes and dropkicks him in the face. Jericho now was about to do the moonsault. He does it but Cena gets out of the way. He eventually gets up and so does Jericho but Umaga grabs Cena and starts to choke him when the ref was trying to help Jericho out. He then gets hold of him and Jericho did a one-handed bulldog on him. He then tags in Umaga again. Umaga straight away lifted Cena up and goes for a Savate kick but Cena got out of the way and did a Spinebuster on him. Umaga was down and Cena went for the 5 knuckle shuffle. He hit it at Umaga and straight away tagged in the Undertaker. Y2J was scared at this point as Undertaker man handled Umaga. Undertaker picked Umaga up and went for a leaping flying clothesline. He then took Umaga with him as he went up the ropes and hit the old school move. Umaga was hurt as the Undertaker proved too strong for him. As the Undertaker was going to punch, Umaga did a spinning heel kick. Undertaker went down as Umaga tried to come back to senses. Jericho liked this and when Umaga tried to tag him, Jericho refuses to come in. Umaga then went back to Undertaker and got him towards a turnbuckle. He then went up and went for a Samoan splash. Luckily, the Undertaker moved out of the way and Umaga was hurt. Then Undertaker lifted Umaga up for the tombstone piledriver. He was about to hit it when Jericho came in and booted Undertaker in the face. He then took Undertaker outside the ring and started to punch him more but Undertaker was punching back too. The match was called off and Cena went and tried to break the two apart.

Winner via DQ: Undertaker & John Cena

Chris Jericho was later away from Undertaker as John Cena took him away.

Y2J: Undertaker! This is not the end! This is just the beginning!

Racer’s SmackDown Review

OK Show overall, I would give it a 6/10, your characters sounded out of character…Example

I highly doubt Shawn would say that he defeated flair with enthusiasm or even be happy about the win, although it would have been a good way to turn him heel although even with him saying that he still got the cheers.

Match writing didn’t flow to good as there was to many full stops and He then’s change it up a bit add commas, allow the match to come freely to you. Another thing is to try add more description to your Whole show in general as it lack some try describing the little things as it will improve the show over all other then that show wasn’t to bad can’t wait till Raw, and looks like ill be taking over smackdown from here on in…
