1 week gone from the draft lottery and tonight is section 2 of the WWE championship match. Batista will take on Matt Hardy, Big Show will take on Santino Marella and Triple H will take on Jeff Hardy. Who will advance in the triple threat.
Also whoever loses will face each other next week in a triple threat to decide one side of the intercontinental championship. Elijah Burke, Mr Kennedy & The Great Khali are in the other triple threat match.
Why did Shelton Benjamin make Edge win after interfering last week? Is there going to be any answers as Benjamin will be the guest in the cutting edge this week.
This week Cody Rhodes will go one on one against Paul London, will there be any heat between them two?
Also, is there any challenges for the women's championship?
Hey RKO, you're back from the ban and thats good. Good to see that theres a poster for Night of Champions and I can't to see raw as you are improving with promos.
JR: Welcome to Monday Night RAW and we are live from Oakland, California in a sold out arena!
King: Tonight is going to be a blast as section 2 of the tournament gets under way!
JR: We will kick off RAW with the 1st of the 3 matches and it is Batista going one on one with Matt Hardy!
King: We have a huge main event as Triple H will take on Jeff Hardy!
‘Live for the moment’ hits as Matt Hardy make his way to the ring.
‘I walk alone’ hits as Batista make his way to the ring.
WWE Championship Tournament Section 2
Match 1
Batista vs. Matt Hardy
Match Ending: Batista is dominating the match as Hardy has not faced a lot bigger men as much like Batista. Batista is just pushing Hardy around although Hardy is trying to fight back but he is just being proved wrong. Batista is now doing a spine buster. The fans are feeling it and they are chanting Batista’s name. Batista looks set to finish off Hardy but just then Hardy poked on Batista’s eye and now the match was far from being over. Hardy eventually got up and kicked Batista in the face. He then was doing immediate attacks. Batista is being knelt down by Hardy. Hardy now goes for a moonsault! Batista goes down to the floor as Hardy goes up on the top rope and the fans are now chanting Hardy’s name. Hardy does the V1 sign and goes for the diving elbow smash. He hits Batista and goes for the pin 1…2.. But Batista kicks out just in time and Hardy is getting worried about what to do next. Hardy again tries to do something effective but this time Batista gave a fatal blow on Hardy’s head and he goes down to the floor. Now Batista gets up and starts kicking Hardy on the head. He then grabs his head and goes for the suplex powerslam! Hardy looks unlikely to win now as Batista grabs him again and does a spinebuster. Batista can now feel it as he went to the ropes and started to swing it around. He now grabs Hardy once more and he hits the Batista bomb! He then goes for the pin 1…2…3!

Edge: All of you know that last week, I beat The Great Khali by myself and pinned him.
*Crowd boo*
Edge: Well, maybe a little help from someone but still I need answers to why he helped me since we both dislike each other as we have proof from what happened before the match last week.
*Crowd boo*
Edge: You can boo all you want but right now, Shelton, come down to the ring as I need my answers!
‘Ain’t no stopping me’ hits as Shelton makes his way to the ring.
*Long pause as crowd boos on at both men*
Edge: Well, Shelton, you had no business whatsoever to interfere in my match since clearly you think I was going to lose to a tall ass whiny son of a b****!
Shelton: Hold on a moment, Edge. This is not anything to do with what you said.
Edge: Then why did you try helping me? I could handle him myself.
Shelton: You clearly don’t see the point. I only came to interfere because I wanted you to win.
Edge: Are you winding me up? You are insane, everyone knows me by now and I have fought myself with superstars in the ring every single week and still come up on top since I am now advancing to the triple threat.
Shelton: I see your point but I am here to state that what happened last week was just the beginning of what I think will become true greatness. Me and Haas have been thinking about this for quite some time.
Edge: Alright, take all your time, won’t you. Even the crowd hate this riddle crap you are saying.
*Crowd gives mixed reaction to Edge and Shelton*
Shelton: Well if you want to hear it bad then I suggest you listen for one or two minutes before you start to interrupt again.
*Crowd cheers as Edge is frustrated*
Shelton: Well, me and Haas have thought about this for awhile and we think that there should be a great stable.
*Crowd boos*
Shelton: We both have nothing to go for right now so we came up with both of us joining up with you!
*Crowd boos*
Edge: Is this some kind of a trick?
Shelton: I told you not to interrupt until you listen to everything…We both want to join up with you as we think you are the type of person who suits both of us too. Us 3 get booed every single time and we probably the most hated superstars on the RAW roster! So with helping you, we can all hold a prestigious title! Me and Haas will try helping you win the WWE Championship and then after night of champions, whoever’s the world tag team champions, me and Haas can go for that! So basically we can dominate the whole of RAW!
Edge: Well you have come up with a great idea! If you make me win that championship then I consider you two to be great partners with me on this stable as I accept this idea of yours! But first of all, you will have to prove yourselves to be Rated R material as you and Haas will be in a handicap match with a person I will choose who you two can face. If you win, you’re on the new Team Rated R Superstars and if you lose, then this idea of yours is nothing but waste. So get ready because you’re match is right now.
JR: Well who will be Shelton and Haas’ opponents? Find out after the break!

‘World’s Greatest’ hits as Haas comes out to partner with Shelton.
Edge: Now you two have to prove yourselves worthy as you are both going to face the man I beat last week!
‘Dan.ger’ hits as The Great Khali makes his way to the ring.
Match 2: Handicap Match
Haas & Benjamin vs. the Great Khali
Match Ending: Haas and Benjamin look shocked at the opponent their facing and all that has happened is Khali dominating this match. Haas is in the ring right now. Khali is man handling him and Benjamin does not even want to be tagged in and help his partner being beaten down by a monster. Edge is outside the ring watching carefully. Khali is now getting a few punches in on Haas and he can’t do anything else but try to dodge from Khali. Khali now grabs Haas’ throat and lifts him up above him. Haas tries to move away as Shelton came from behind and caught Khali’s legs and he bent a bit down. The ref still allowed the match to go on. Now Haas tags in Shelton and he did not like that. Even Edge was encouraging Shelton to be a man and not a wimp. Shelton took his words and did exactly what he said as he started punching Khali but it did no effect. Shelton was getting frustrated as he knew there was no chance on beating Khali clean. Shelton now had an idea and he went for the roundhouse kick. It hit Khali as he went towards the turnbuckle. Then Shelton went up the turnbuckle only to get caught by a big boot by Khali. Then from nowhere Haas brought a chair to the ring and slammed it into Khali’s face. The ref disqualified both men and the match was won by Khali by DQ.
Winner via DQ: The Great Khali
The Great Khali was down on the floor and Edge came into the ring and brought a mic with him.
Edge: You’re performance may not have been won in many fans’ minds but I tell you, you two have won this match in my mind. That was pretty Rated R, I should think and so therefore you two have shown me that we can make a great tag team and I have called ourselves Rated R Golden!
*Shelton and Haas grin as the crowd boos at all three men*

Match 3 – Singles Match
Big Show vs. Santino Marella
Match Ending: The match started all good for the big show as he was trying to catch Santino and he always succeeded in this. Santino is trying to get the big man down by throwing in some punches but Big Show is proven stronger as he does not get hit hard enough by Santino. Now Big Show headbutts Santino and Santino goes down to the floor and looks hurt. Big Show then boots Santino in the face and looks to be powerful as the fans cheers for him. Big Show then grabs Santino’s neck but Santino was very cheeky as he kicked Big Show in the groin area. Big Show kneels down in the ground as Santino mocks the big show’s chokeslam taunt. Santino then does the leg feed enzuigiri on Big Show and then he finally gets up once again and tries to work in that leg area of the big shows. Then Santino goes for the elbow drop and he does it perfectly on the big show. He goes for the pin 1…2.. But the Big Show slams Santino in the air and he lands near the ropes. Big Show then gets up with help from the ropes and he does the taunt which every fan is familiar with and they know what’s coming next. Santino tries to get away from him but a big boot caught Santino dead on the ring. Now he grabs Santino via the neck once again and goes for his finishing move which is the chokeslam. He hits it perfectly and Santino gets slammed hard on the ring. He then puts his feet in Santino’s chest and goes for the pin 1…2…3!

*Mickie James is standing backstage as Michelle McCool comes to her*
McCool: Hey, Mickie.
Mickie: Oh hi Michelle, good to see you are on raw now.
McCool: Well, let me tell you something. On smackdown, I was the best diva there and none of the others could beat me. Well on raw, there is so much more competition which I like and you are one of them that I look forward to beat!
Mickie: You really think you can beat me? I have already been 4 times women’s champion and I have beaten divas like Trish Stratus to get this. I don’t know you but you seem like an annoying little brat!
McCool: Hey watch what you say! I will make sure you will not be 5 time champion as I will capture that gold star and become a contender for women’s championship at Night of Champions!
Mickie: Well we will wait and see as there’s a lot more divas who deserve it more than you! I have seen them all wrestle and they are way better than how you wrestle.
McCool: Just shut up, you haven’t seen the best diva yet and wait until I win next week and then you can start buttering up to me.
*McCool leaves and is angry as Mickie shakes her head in disbelief*

JR: Well the divas are having a bit of trouble but up next is Cody Rhodes in singles competition with Paul London. Both are involved in the World Tag Team championship match at Night of Champions.
‘Priceless’ hits as Cody Rhodes make his way to the ring along with the rest of the new generation crew.
‘Hey you’ hits as Paul London runs into the ring along with Brian Kendrick.
Match 4 – Singles Match
Cody Rhodes vs. Paul London
Match Ending: The match was very fast paced as London is great at doing high flying moves. Both men have not taken control of each other as there is some heat outside the ring between Ted Dibiase and Brian Kendrick. Both men are focused more in this match. London punches Rhodes and tries to move away from his headlock. He finally gets away from it and he now is going for a superkick right into his face. Rhodes goes down as everyone else outside the ring looks on. London then grabs Rhodes again but this time Rhodes takes advantage as he pushes London towards a rope but he fails. London moved away and Rhodes landed on the ropes and it hurt his gut quite bad. Now London goes to the opposite rope and runs in on Rhodes as he went down to the floor. London then goes for the pin 1…2. But Rhodes kicked out and the match is still going on. Outside the ring, Kendrick has been told to stay away from those two by the ref and this makes a huge impact inside the ring as Rhodes low blowed London very hard that he goes down to the floor. He then gets London up and does his finisher on him which is the flowing snap DDT. He then goes for the pin 1…2…3!

After the match finishes, the new generation go back inside but are grinning at Kendrick and London who both are in the ring with London just about kneeling.

*Todd Grisham is backstage and is talking to CM Punk*
Todd: Well, hello, this is Todd Grisham and joining me right now is CM Punk. So CM Punk, you are now in the triple threat match next week against a monster Kane and an ultimate opportunist, Edge. Do you have any plans on what you are going to do next week?
Punk: Plans? Todd, you have to stop making me look like I am the underdog of this match. Well both men are really good but just because they both have been here on WWE more than me, does not mean I cannot beat any of them. I will be there to prove only one thing and that is that CM Punk can take on any guy whether they’ve held 5 titles or whether they are 7 feet tall and whatever the weight. It does not matter, the only thing matters is that you have to believe you can achieve what you have come here for and people will know that I am here to win the World Heavyweight Championship. True that I have only been on RAW for a week but anything could happen and you just never know when I strike the most. So Todd, there is a plan but it is to just believe in yourself and you can do it.
*Back to the arena*
JR: Well Punk is right and I think it’s this boy’s time to shine.
King: Well next up is the main event between Jeff Hardy and The Game, Triple H! What a match this will be for the section 2 of the tournament. The match is after this commercial break!

Main Event – Singles Match
Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy
Match Ending: The match started off with both men trying to get one another down as Triple H uses his knee effectively and causes Jeff Hardy to go down a little bit so Triple H can gain some momentum in the match. The crowd are quite lively in this match as they are shouting triple h and some are shouting hardy. Right now, in the ring Triple H goes for a high knee strike and he hits it on Jeff quite hard that he goes down very quickly. Triple H now starts kicking him and then he grabs him towards a turnbuckle and smashes Jeff’s head not once but three times. Then as Triple H thinks he can easily win this, Jeff then elbows Triple H and then does a twist of fate. Both men are down so the ref starts counting 1…2…3…4…5. Jeff and Triple H are about to stand up so the ref stops the count. Both are now stood up and they both exchange punches and both men look to get the other guy down. Now Jeff does a sitout jawbreaker on Triple H and he now looks hurt in that area. Triple H goes down feeling his face and Jeff Hardy from nowhere dropkicks him right in the face. Triple H is now down on the floor and is not moving at the moment. Jeff takes advantage of this as he goes for a slingshot crossbody on Triple H and followed by a pin 1…2. But Triple H kicks out and Jeff looks surprised at this. Triple H now is trying to get up as Jeff still controls the game. Jeff now is going towards the ropes and is going to a dropkick of the top rope and he does it but Triple H moves out of the way and Jeff is now hurt on the leg. Triple H now knows what is coming next as he taunts for the fans. Triple H grabs Jeff and does a facebuster, and then he goes for the pedigree but Jeff Hardy showed all his strength as he lifted Triple H up and then did a sitout inverted suplex slam. Jeff now takes time and goes on top of the turnbuckle. He is about to do a Swanton Bomb on Triple H. He does it and it is hit. Triple H is down and he goes for the pin 1…2.. But out of nowhere Triple H kicks out but looks worn out from this match. Jeff is shocked at this but resumes assaulting Triple H by now doing a twist of fate. He goes for it but Triple H kicks him in the gut and goes for the pedigree. He hit it and then went for the pin 1…2…3!
Winner via Pinfall: Triple H
Triple H looks worn out but he now joins Batista and Big Show in the triple threat match in two weeks.
JR: What a match, Jeff Hardy tried his best but in the end there was only one winner and that’s Triple H!
King: Well what a match it will be in two weeks but now RAW goes off air, see you next week for the section one triple threat match!
My favourite match on this show has to be the main event between Jeff Hardy and Triple H. This is because I thought it was very interesting from start to finish and I thought Jeff was going to win this after that Swanton Bomb. Triple H looked strong too and I liked it how he turned the twist of fate into a pedigree. Great that he won tbh.
The worse match probably was the first match between Shelton Benjamin & Haas against The Great Khali. It was ok but I think it was very short and didn't like Khali coming out but other than that it was okay. Also I don't like the DQ finish but its Khali so I understand.
The best promo has to be CM Punk's interview. I think it was very realistic and even though it was short, it was very good written and the lines he said were fantastic.
The worse promos probably the Mickie James/McCool one but it wasn't too bad but just looks a bit obvious if both are going to win next week lol.
Also I like this new Rated R Golden stable, hope this will get booked well and must be great with those three.
Overall: You have improved and I quite enjoyed this show.
WWE have learned that a former WWE Superstar is coming back to WWE. This superstar has been kept secret and will not be revealed until he debuts once again. The plan is to put him on possibly Smackdown but it may change if either raw or smackdown do not get ratings up.
