Last night, the draft proved to be one of the most memorable ones in WWE history. Raw has found some big names for the show including the ones that were already on RAW. Will there be any fresh rivalries started?
As all the raw championships are vacant, McMahon has announced that all championships will be on the line at Night of Champions. Who will be the contenders for the WWE Championship and the rest of them too?
Will there also be any surprises after this draft?
King: We are live from Bakersfield, California and this is probably going to be one hell of a show!
JR: Not just show, but the world of WWE has been shook out of their skins once again!
King: Vince has officially changed the face of WWE by doing the draft last night! Let’s see a recap of it.
*Shows who RAW gained and who RAW lost*
JR: Cannot believe we have Edge back on RAW!
King: I can’t believe we have new superstars to brag about!
‘Regal’s theme’ hits as he makes his way to the ring.
Regal: I have come out here to announce what will happen in the next few weeks on RAW.
*Crowd excited to hear what it is*
Regal: We will have a tournament for the WWE Championship!
*Crowd excited*
Regal: In the next 4 weeks it will be played out until we get the two finalists which will then go on to face each other at Night of Champions!
*Crowd cheers*
Regal: There will be 12 competitors split up into two sections so makes 6 in one section and another 6 in the other section. Then in those sections they will face one another and then they will have a triple threat match when it’s left with three people. Same goes with section 2.
*Crowd explodes and cheers*
Regal: So tonight there will be section 1 matches which contain three matches and next week will be section 2 matches which contain another three matches. In 2 weeks, we will have section 1 triple threat match which will lead to finding out who the first contender is and then the week after that it will be the other triple threat match which then makes up the match at Night of Champions.
*Crowd loves it*
Regal: So let’s get to the point. In section 1 tonight, the following superstars will face each other:
Match 1 will be Mr Kennedy vs. Kane
Match 2 will be CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke
And finally match 3 will be Edge vs. The Great Khali!
*Crowd cheers and boos at the main event*
Regal: Then next week, in section 2 the matches will be:
Match 1 will be Batista vs. Matt Hardy
Match 2 will be Big Show vs. Santino Marella
And match 3 will be Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy!
*Crowd cheers*
Regal: If the people who lose in these matches, they will face each other in triple threat matches in two weeks for the intercontinental championship match at night of champions.

JR: What a good idea of William Regal!
King: The only good idea he has put his brains in!
JR: Well the fact that we will find out who will face who for both championships is good. Night of champions is already shaped up to be a great PPV!
King: Well first up is the first match of section 1 and it is Mr Kennedy going one on one with Kane!
‘Turn up the trouble’ hits as Mr.Kennedy makes his way to the ring.
‘Slow Chemical’ hits as Kane makes his way to the ring.
WWE Championship Tournament Section 1
Match 1: Singles Match
Mr.Kennedy vs. Kane
Match Ending: The match has been dominated by Kane in most parts. Mr Kennedy is finding it hard to get the big man down to his feet. Kane now grabs Kennedy and goes for a sidewalk which he hits it perfectly. Mr Kennedy goes down and starts to feel his back as it hurt him. Kane then looks over at Kennedy and kicks him right in the forehead. Kennedy is having troubles getting up from this and the match resumes once again. Kane grabs Kennedy once again and tries to boot him but Kennedy reverses it into a side slam backbreaker. Kane finally goes down and Kennedy goes for the pin 1…2.. But Kane kicks out and Kennedy is in disbelief. Kane then immediately gets up but Kennedy tries to do everything he can to put him on the ground but out of nowhere Kane grabs Kennedy’s neck and is going to do a chokeslam. Kane now gets up and is ready to hit it but Kennedy starts elbowing Kane and prevents him from doing the chokeslam. Finally Kennedy gets away with it and tries to not even go near Kane. But Kane then goes for a diving clothesline and Kennedy hits the floor. Kane now feels that he can finish him off but just then Kennedy low blowed Kane and Kane goes down to the floor. Kennedy finally reached to stand up and looked to do his finisher as he picked Kane up. He goes for the green bay plunge and hits it. He then goes for the pin 1…2.. But out of nowhere, Kane kicks out in half a second to Kennedy winning it. Kennedy is so shocked that he looks clueless on how to beat this guy. He then tries to do a submission but Kane punches him in the eye and Kennedy went hysterical and was moving all over the place. Kane finally got up and was trying the chokeslam one more try. He then grabs Kennedy by the neck and does the chokeslam! He then pins him 1…2…3!

JR: What a match that was, King!
King: Kane has advanced to the triple threat match next week!
JR: We will still find out who he’s two opponents are as they face off later tonight! Raw will be back just after this break!

JR: Welcome back to Monday Night RAW as we just witnessed Kane advancing to the triple threat match before the break!
King: Well we are now going backstage where Todd Grisham is talking to CM Punk about his match tonight with Elijah Burke!
*Backstage with CM Punk*
Grisham: So CM Punk, tonight you will face your former ECW superstar Elijah Burke. Do you have anything to say about this?
Punk: Yeah, Todd, I just want to say that me and Burke have had a past and he is one arrogant ***hole!
*Crowd cheer*
Grisham: Well do you think it will be easy to beat him?
Punk: Well I know he is a tough superstar but I will put on a hell of a fight against him so I may win it but it can go the other way if I don’t stay focused.
Grisham: Kane’s now in the triple threat, if you win your match, do you think Kane will be a challenge for you?
Punk: A challenge? No way, I saw the match and Kane was hardly running! My agility will defeat him but I must say, he has quite strength!
*Just then Burke comes in*
Burke: Well then if it isn’t the man I will face tonight!
Punk: Well what do you want? I will meet you in the ring later on.
Burke: I heard this conversation and I know you called me an arrogant ***hole! I just like to say, thank you, you just made my day saying that!
Punk: No problem, but tonight it will be a good fight and I will see you in the ring!
*Punk leaves*
*Goes back to arena as Burke and Grisham stare at Punk*
JR: Well there is certainly heat between them two.
King: No doubt about it, JR!
JR: Well next up we have a match with two divas on it!
King: My personal favourites and its Melina facing Mickie James!
‘Paparazzi’ hits as Melina makes her way to the ring.
‘Obsession’ hits as Mickie James makes her way to the ring.
Match 2 – Singles Match
Melina vs. Mickie James
Match Ending: Both divas were getting each other’s throats as the match is still continued. Now Mickie tries to go for the arm trap neckbreaker slam. Melina goes down to the floor and she looks hurt. Mickie is on fire as she is running around fast and she just did a running kick on to Melina’s face. Melina looked very hurt and was screaming something. The crowd were going wild as Mickie was dominating the match. Mickie now tries to go for a diving crossbody but Melina gets out of the way and Mickie fell to the floor and was not getting up that easily. They both eventually got up and Melina goes for a reverse DDT. Mickie goes down and Melina goes for the pin 1…2.. But Mickie kicks out and Melina screams again. She could not believe Mickie could kick out. Then she goes wild on her and starts pulling her hair and punching her. She also slammed Mickie’s head in the ring. She finally lets go of her and Mickie then gets up. She goes for the mick kick but Melina surprisingly dodges it and does a inverted split-leg drop bulldog which then lead to the pin 1…2…3!

Dibiase Jr: What I want everyone to know now that this new team is now here and going to do what everyone hates to see.
*Crowd boos*
Dibiase Jr: You guessed it, well Cody you tell them.
Rhodes: Well there’s a situation to pick which two out of the three of us will participate in being world tag team champions.
*Crowd boos*
Rhodes: So we have decided that since we are in Night of Champions tag team match, it will be made like this, it will be me and Dibiase Jr. who will challenge.
Smith: What about me?
Dibiase Jr: You are going to participate after Night of Champions. So we will rotate round and if we are champions in night of champions, you’re included too.
Smith: At least that is fair unlike some wrestlers around here.
*Crowd boos*
*Londrick’s theme hits*
London: Hang on a second, you guys cannot make yourself in the title picture!
Dibiase Jr: What makes you think that? We are a priceless team and we can do anything and I mean anything.
Kendrick: Hey I just had an idea, why don’t I face one of you tonight and if you win, you will not face us at Night of Champions but if we win, we add ourselves against you at Night of Champions!
London: Which one of you will step up to the challenge?
*Long pause*
Smith: I accept your challenge, Kendrick and by the way, London you are not allowed to interfere and same goes with both of you.
*Dibiase Jr and Rhodes look angry at this decision*
*Commercial Break*
King: Wow that was some good heat there between those two tag teams!
JR: Well talk about contenders, next up is Punk going one on one against Burke!
‘The fire burns’ hits as Punk makes his way to the ring.
‘Don’t waste my time’ hits as Burke make his way to the ring.
WWE Championship Tournament Section 1
Match 3: Singles Match
CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke
Match Ending: It was shaping up to be a decent match as both men who are former ECW stars are battling against each other to go for the win. Right now, Burke is the one who is in control as he steered some punches on Punk and elbowed him in the face. Punk goes near the ropes as Burke taunts to the fans. Burke is now doing a vertical suplex which he hit it perfectly. Punk goes down to the floor and feels like he will not get up from this. Burke is now totally dominating this match but just when he thought things were getting easier, Punk jumps up from nowhere and does a double underhook backbreaker. Burke shouts out something as Punk tries to get up from that. He finally does and he also taunts to the fans. He goes over to stomp on to Burke’s face and he does this very quickly so that Burke can’t reverse any of his moves. This match has been going on like this forever as both men try to dominate for a bit but then eventually goes to favour the other person. Now Punk grabs Burke’s head but he pushes his faces back and does a DDT and Punk goes down to the floor as it looked like his head was about to crack. Burke now goes for a STO and Punk looked like he was hurt. He goes for the pin now 1…2. But Punk kicks out and Burke had to do many more things than to just pin him. As he was about to do another move, Punk then realises that his chance would be now and so he went for a Pepsi plunge. It was hit effectively and Burke goes down so fast. Punk goes for the pin 1…2…3!
Winner via Pinfall: CM Punk!
King: CM Punk is now advancing to the triple threat where he will meet Kane and another superstar!
JR: You gotta give credit to Punk here, he put on a hell of a fight and I mark him to make it a long way after this win!
*Commercial Break*
*In Edge’s locker room*
*Edge is prepared for his match when Shelton Benjamin walks in*
Edge: What do you want?
Shelton: I don’t want anything but damn, I feel sorry for you for your match tonight!
Edge: Well don’t be, I can handle this guy myself without any help.
Shelton: Help? I ain’t here to help! I just came here to meet you because I know you will not come out the same after the match.
*Edge gets angry and is about to punch Shelton*
Shelton: Woah, woah, woah take it easy man!
Edge: Get out of here and go to your horse buddy!
Shelton: It’s Haas, sharp face.
*Shelton immediately walks out as Edge is staring at him furiously*
*Back to arena*
JR: Well what the hell was Shelton doing there!!
King: To wish Edge his last match that is, I mean it is Great Khali, he has a point there!
JR: Well it will be a tough match for Edge but next up is Kendrick facing Smith in which Kendrick has to win to make a official match at night of champions with new generation!
‘Rule Britannia’ hits as DH Smith makes his way to the ring.
‘Hey You’ hits as Brian Kendrick makes his way to the ring.

Match 4 – Singles Match
DH Smith vs. Brian Kendrick
Match Ending: The match started out very well as it was a fast paced game especially Kendrick trying out his high flying moves. Right now, Kendrick does a leg drop on Smith. Smith rolls round because he is hurt and then Kendrick grabs him once again and goes for a super kick. Again, Smith goes down and he does not look happy about that. Kendrick says something to the ref and now Kendrick starts kicking him until Smith grabs his legs and reverses it to a pin 1…2. But Kendrick kicked out of it very quickly without Smith knowing it himself first. Now he goes for a sitout side superslam. Kendrick now goes down to the floor and looked very hurt. Smith looked on form as he thinks he will walk this match quickly and win. But Kendrick was not that easy and it frustrated Smith quite a bit. Now Kendrick dodges out from a kick and he goes for a flying forearm. Smith did not see this coming and now Kendrick goes for sliced bread where he did it perfectly. He goes for a pin 1…2…3!

JR: Well the main event is just now! Edge will take on a giant and that is the Great Khali!
*Edge is coming to the arena as the camera footage is shown*

WWE Championship Tournament Section 1
Main Event – Singles Match
Edge vs. the Great Khali
Match Ending: The Great Khali is dominating as he does fatal punches to Edge. Edge has not even hit a single shot at Khali. Khali now picks up Edge as Edge starts to move about. Now Khali tries a delayed scoop slam but Edge gets away with it and tries to kick Khali in the stomach. Nothing really happens but Edge looks shocked and wants to get out of this. Khali then does the big boot on him and Edge goes down to the floor as Khali takes full control on him. The crowd hate this and are disgusted to see this monster in the main event. Now Khali picks up Edge in one hand and tries to go for the brain chop but again Edge goes out of it and tries to go for a dropkick and it did a bit of an effect as Khali is now in the ropes. Edge now goes for another missile dropkick and this time, Khali went down to the floor. Edge looked surprised and also happy. Now he is getting ready for the spear and just then Khali gets up and Edge goes for it and Khali dodges it. Edge landed in the turnbuckle and was really hurt. Khali screams something at him and grabs Edge’s hear and tries another headbutt. Edge goes down fast as it was very effective. Khali is now taunting to the fans as they boo him off. Then Khali starts stomping Edge in the chest and he looked hurt. The ref told Khali to stop and Khali pushed him away. He finally stopped and then got Edge back to the floor as he was going to do the chop. He hit it and Edge went down in the floor. Just then Benjamin came from nowhere and distracted the ref. Khali went over and started to have a go at Benjamin. Out from nowhere Edge hit Khali on the head with a steel chair and then he hit it another time for Khali to go down. Edge then put it away and Benjamin told the ref that Edge is pinning. He pins Khali 1…2…3!
Winner via Pinfall: Edge!
Edge then looked surprised as he looks on at Benjamin and was confused on why he helped him.
King: Edge stole the victory! His going to face CM Punk and Kane in two weeks!
JR: Thanks to that damn Shelton! Well what a night it has been, we’ll see you next week!
Promo 1: This promo was quite good I thought and I like the fact of a tournament and this is set out well. Only thing is that it was quite like he was telling the instructions but thats ok.
Match 1: Kennedy/Kane: I loved this match because it didn't bore me one bit, it was an okay length and I wanted Kennedy to win but you are the booker and you know what to do. Very good.
Promo 2: I liked this too, Punk and Burke were giving lots of hype to the match later on. It was kind of getting repetitive towards the end though.
Match 2: Melina/Mickie James: It was quite a short match was surprised that Melina picked up the win as she was finished by a Mick Kick. Well it was unpredictable which was good.
Promo 3: I loved this one as it was something different but I think you over did it with Smith and Kendrick but still good to hype up another championship in the big PPV.
Match 3: Punk/Burke: It was very predictable that he was going to win but I think the match was too short but I guess it wasn't too bad.
Promo 4: This promo was good too because it was kind of weird Shelton just came in. I want to know what you are going to do with this.
Match 4: Smith/Kendrick: Really short match but I enjoyed it as it was quite entertaining to read. I'd laugh if you make Smith no longer in new generation.
Match 5: It was an alright main event but then again, everything with Khali in main event is crap and yours was better. I was surprised Edge even got up and stole the match. Shelton interrupting was weird as he looked like he hates Edge but now he helped him? I wanna know what really is going to happen between these two.
Overall matches: 7/10 too short in some matches.
Overall Promo: 7.5/10
Overall Show: 7/10 keep it up.
A tournament for the WWE Championship will be awesome, Kennedy vs. Kane first will be good but for the love of god, don’t job Kennedy to Kane. CM Punk will go over Elijah with Edge will manage to beat The Great Khali. Batista will sadly go over Matt Hardy in week 2 with Jericho and Triple H going over their opponents, or well at least that’s what I think. Also like how the losers get a shot at the IC title, would have been better if you have a battle royal or sommit’ to name the contender though.
For fucks sake, how did I know Kennedy would job? Kennedy has future in this business and not Kane, Kennedy should of won as Kane doesn’t even have a chance to win the WWE title, imo.
The Punk interview didn’t seem right, he wasn’t in character, neither was Grisham. I also think that it’s a bit too short and the grammar could do some work to be fair, I’m not gonna’ kiss up and pretend it was amazing.
The next promo was a big WTF! Neither superstar was in character I mean c’mon, Burke saying “saying that made my day today” and then punk says “No problem, it will be a good match, I will see you in the ring” haha.
Melina > Mickie and I’m pleased you acknowledged that handing her the win, Melina is hardly ever pushed in threads and is usually always jobbed to the likes of Mickie James.
Another promo with none of the superstars In character, I didn’t like the promo. They sounded like little kids, and why would DH Smith not allow his partners to interfere for him?
Punk going over Elijah was no surprise, Elijah is never pushed in BTB’s, hopefully he gets a push in yours soon.
Kendrick getting the win = I really like the two of them and I’m pleased to see them go for the World Tag Team titles.
Knew Edge would win and I’m pleased he did to be honest, one of the good decisions you have made tonight. I wouldn’t be surprised if Edge won the WWE Title – Heck, I would be happy!
~ Overall, not very good if I’m honest. I’m not gonna’ kiss up and pretend it’s the best show I’ve ever read as it wasn’t. The promos definitely need work, the superstars are never in character and it seems like a little kid is writing it, tbh. Some okay booking decisions, some bad. Overall 6/10.
