Shinedown’s ‘Devour’ theme hits as Night of Champions airs in.

JR: Welcome everybody to Night of Champions. It is going to be one hell of a show with great matches to give you!

King: Yes JR, you are right; all titles should be crowned tonight! It is great since the Raw matches will contain some epic ones.

JR: Well, we hand you over to the smackdown announce table now.

Cole: Well thanks JR and we also give you some epic matches. We have four matches which are all different. There are no singles matches.

Foley: That is why I love smackdown and what a great main event made for the world title and it will be going down in the history books.

JR: Well, tonight, there will be a huge main event and it is going to be for the WWE Championship. The Ultimate Opportunist, Edge will take on the animal, Batista!

King: Not only that but there will be another huge match tonight which will be for the Intercontinental Championship. It will be Santino Marella taking on Mr Kennedy!

Cole: But I am more interested in seeing this match. The World Heavyweight Championship match which will be a fatal-four-way! It will be John Bradshaw Layfield taking on John Cena, Rey Mysterio and also the newest edition to the match, Chris Jericho!

Foley: How about this match. The United States Championship which will be a triple threat match! It will be Montel Vontavious Porter taking on John Morisson and Finlay!

Cole: But ladies and gents get ready as our first match starts. It’s the Cruiserweight Championship match between four good competitors!

Video package.

[Cole: It has been announced on WWE.com that Super Crazy, Nunzio, Chavo Guerrero, and Gregory Helms will face off in a Fatal Four-Way Match for the vacant Cruiserweight Championship!

-Super Crazy beats Nunzio one on one-

-Chavo beats Finlay-

Cole: Super Crazy must hold off the challenge of three former Champions!

-It could go any way-

-Nunzio and Super Crazy win in tag team action-

Cole: These cruiserweights are going to put it all on the line, this Sunday, at Night Of Champions!]

A bell rings.

Roberts: The following Fatal Four-Way Match is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the Cruiserweight Championship!

LISTEN…

The crowd starts to boo as out comes Gregory Helms.

Roberts: Introducing first – from Raleigh, North Carolina, weighing in at 215 pounds… Gregory Helms!

Helms looks around cockily as he walks down the ramp, gets in the ring, and waits patiently with a small smile on his face.

OOH, CHAVO…

And the crowd boo again for Chavo Guerrero, who makes his way out with Bam Neely at his side.

Roberts: And from El Paso, Texas, weighing in at 210 pounds, Chavo Guerrero!

Chavo bounces as he walks down the ramp, grinning without a care. Neely opens the ropes for him, and in he gets, pointing and talking trash at Helms.

And as the Italian tune of Nunzio begins, the crowd give little reaction. Nunzio leaps on the stage, but the crowd is simply buzzing for the participant after him.

Roberts: And from Rockland County, New York, weighing in at 170 pounds… Nunzio!

A few people boo, bored. Nunzio slides into the ring, and looks between Helms and Guerrero.

I AM SUPER, I AM CRAZY… I AM SUPER CRAZY!

And a huge cheer goes up for Super Crazy! Crazy appears on the stage and raises both arms, while Roberts makes the announcement.

Roberts: And from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico, weighing in at 215 pounds… Super Crazy!

The crowd cheers again. The camera shows a fan with a sign saying ‘SUPER CRAZY’ on it. Crazy sprints down the ramp, slides into the ring (with all the others sliding out) and rolls on to his head, before traditionally flicking up to his feet, getting a huge cheer. The others return, and the match begins.

Match 1
Gregory Helms vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Nunzio vs. Super Crazy
Cruiserweight Championship

All four men meet in the centre of the ring, and start a furious brawl. Nunzio breaks free, being on the smaller side to the others, and gets on to the top turnbuckle. Helms hits Crazy with a Reverse STO, but as he rises, Chavo leaps into the air, and Dropkicks Helms in the face, knocking him spectacularly to the mat. Nunzio sees his chance as Chavo rises, and leaps from the turnbuckle, soaring through the air before locking his legs round his head, and flinging him across the ring with a Headscissors Takedown. Nunzio flips up immediately, smiling broadly.

Nunzio isn’t happy for long, however, as Super Crazy leaps to his feet suddenly, and spins Nunzio round and round, before stopping him, dizzy, and busting his head from his shoulders with a Superkick. The crowd cheers, but as Crazy heads towards Chavo, Helms sneaks over to Nunzio and covers… 1 – 2 – Crazy sees it and breaks it up. Crazy had already lifted up Chavo, so the Mexican Warrior rolls up Crazy… 1 – 2 kick out from Super Crazy. Helms is up, and grabs Nunzio, pulling him up by his hair. He locks him in a Full Nelson, and Nunzio winces in pain, groaning. Chavo Guerrero kicks Helms in the back after a while of brawling with Super Crazy, breaking up the submission hold. Crazy goes up top, and launches off, connecting with a Cross-Body to all three men, and collapsing everyone in a heap. A count from the ref reaches eight before all four men struggle to their feet.

Helms slides out of the ring. Nunzio heads for Chavo Guerrero, but the Mexican Warrior halts him with an array of punches. Guerrero quickly then hits a Backbreaker to the dazed Nunzio, then covers, but a Running Splash from Super Crazy breaks it up before the ref even brings his hand down for one. Crazy lifts up Guerrero, hits a Suplex, then runs towards the turnbuckle, scaling it and flying through the air in a Corkscrew, then coming out of it and hitting a powerful Frog Splash! An odd but effective Corkscrew Frog Splash from Super Crazy, and the fans love it! Crazy covers… 1 – 2 kick out by Chavo.

Helms gets on to the ring apron. Crazy sees him and charges towards him, but he drops from the apron at the last second. Crazy turns to see Nunzio charging at him, but Helms takes out Crazy’s legs from outside, taking him down, and meaning Nunzio has no target – Nunzio goes flying over the ropes, to be met by Helms, who uses the momentum to turn it into a Scoop Powerslam! The crowd groans at the impact as Nunzio meets the arena floor hard. Replays are shown repeatedly as Helms pulls off a huge tactical move – when it looked like he was going for Crazy, he was actually going for the charging Nunzio. Some fans nearly applaud.

Helms gets up from the floor and raises both arms to gloat, but he’s forgotten about Super Crazy, who slingshots from the ring and hits a great Cross-Body! The fans go wild, but now Chavo is up too! Chavo leaps on to the turnbuckle, and flies off, hitting Crazy square in the chest with a Missile Dropkick! The fans boo wildly, and Bam Neely comes to help out Chavo! They lift up an already near-knocked-out Nunzio, and Double Suplex him into the barricade! The fans keep booing, and after a few punches to Nunzio, the pair fling him back in the ring. Neely gives Chavo a foot-up back to the turnbuckle, and Chavo points to the sky! The crowd boos, as they know what’s coming next, but Helms is up on the outside! Chavo flies off and connects with the Frog Splash!

Chavo covers, and Helms scrambles back into the ring, 1 – 2 – Helms dives and breaks up the cover! The crowd lets out a sigh of relief, and Chavo can’t believe it! Chavo shakes off his disbelief and gets up, kicking viciously at Helms’ exhausted body. Nunzio is not moving. Guerrero lifts Helms to his feet… one Suplex… two Suplexes… three – no! As Chavo lifts Helms for the third Suplex, Super Crazy arrives, and takes both men out with a Cross-Body! The fans cheer wildly, and Crazy covers Nunzio… 1 – 2 – no! Last second dive to break up the cover by Chavo Guerrero!

Bam Neely is on the apron. Crazy sees him as he gets up, and charges, but Neely brings up a elbow, sending Crazy reeling back. Chavo scales the turnbuckle and looks for another Missile Dropkick, but Crazy ducks and Chavo hits thin air! Crazy sees his chance, and goes up top again. Helms is up, however, and grabs Crazy’s arms, and spins him down with a brutal Crucifix Powerbomb! The crowd groans with the impact, and Helms climbs the turnbuckle. Bam Neely gets up on the apron, however, and sends him flying with a Reverse Beel! Helms lands hard on the arena floor, and the crowd boos.

Chavo sees his chance. The crowd is buzzing in anticipation as they all look at the rising Chavo. Chavo climbs the turnbuckle. He points to the sky once more. Crazy looks helpless, eyes closed on the mat. Chavo finally goes for it, flying off and looking for the Frog Splash! No! It was all an act! Crazy was playing possum! The crowd goes wild as Crazy brings up a boot, and the impact sends Chavo spiralling across the ring! Neely enters the ring, but Super Crazy takes him out with a Superkick! Crazy leaps on to the nearest turnbuckle, checks that Chavo is still there, then leaps off, getting huge elevation once again with the Moonsault! The crowd erupts, and there is no-one around but Chavo, Crazy and the ref, who counts… 1 – 2 – 3! Super Crazy is the new Cruiserweight Champion!

Match Winner: Super Crazy

Match Time: 11:10

Cole: Great win for Super Crazy. I am going to congratulate him since he is our new Cruiserweight Champion!

Foley: We still have some great matches to come and I cannot wait to see another epic battles.

*Backstage*

Rey Mysterio wanders down a backstage corridor. He meets Chris Jericho, who is met by boos from the fans.

Jericho: Well, if it isn’t Rey Mysterio. Tell me, small fry, how do you even hope to win a Fatal Four-Way Match with two men weighing about 250 pounds, and the legend that is… Chris Jericho!

The crowd boos. Mysterio tilts his head.

Mysterio: Chris, I’ve noticed your cockiness through the past couple of weeks, and to be truthful, home, it’s downright disgraceful. I might not be a Heavyweight, but I’ve held this title before, I think you’ll remember. And I would love to win it again, Chris… but you know what I’d like even more?

Jericho smiles.

Jericho: To be able to reach the top locker?

The crowd boos as Jericho silently chuckles. Mysterio shakes his head with a smile.

Mysterio: Not that, Chris. Me hitting the 619 on you tonight will be sweet, home, but the sweetest thing will be watching the Undertaker…

Jericho flinches at the name and the crowd lets out a huge cheer.

Mysterio: … take your soul, and me being there to watch.

Jericho looks angry.

Jericho: Don’t you worry about the Undertaker, Rey. He’s not coming anywhere near me…

Jericho leans in close to Mysterio’s face.

Jericho: Not after what I did to him.

The crowd boos and Jericho leaves, leaving Rey looking unfazed.

*Back to Arena*

Cole: Well as you see, these two are competing in the fatal four way tonight!

Foley: It looks interesting already!

JR: Well let’s kick off our raw matches and the next match is for the women’s championship. Let’s see how this started.

*Video Package: It show Mickie James grabbing the first golden star and she is really happy about it as the other divas look on at her. We then see Beth Phoenix capturing the other star and she is also happy she won. Then they both stare at each other at the end of the match. The following week later, they are involved in a tag team match. Mickie James teams up with Michelle McCool and they take on Beth Phoenix and Katie Lea Burchill. It recaps key moments of the match and then shows the finish where Mickie was about to do her move and finish off Beth, but couldn’t do it since Burchill came from nowhere and kicked her off. Beth then did her move and stole the win. We then see her smile as she leaves*

‘Obsession’ hits as Mickie James walks down the ramp and into the ring in a good mood.

Lillian: the following match is scheduled for one fall, making her way to the ring, from Richmond, Virginia, MICKIE JAMES!

‘Glamazon’ hits as Beth Phoenix walks down the ramp and also stares at Mickie as she enters the ring.

Lillian: and the opponent, from Buffalo, New York, the Glamazon BETH PHOENIX!

Women’s Championship
Match 2 – Singles Match

Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix

The referee holds the vacated Women’s Championship up as Beth and Mickie both stare at each other. Who will win? We will find out soon enough. The bell now rings and both divas go at each other already. Beth and Mickie both grab each others head as they try to hit a move at one another. Now, Beth punches Mickie in the jaw as she then steps away from the fight. Beth takes advantage of this as she now goes and tosses Mickie on the turnbuckle. She then runs up to her and starts to punch her in the stomach. Mickie tries to fight back but Beth has got her held on as she cannot move. The crowd is quite silent at this match as Beth goes on and hits Mickie with another huge blow in the gut. Then, Beth grabs Mickie’s head and swings her over and she slams her head in the ring. She then starts to grab both her arms and she stretches them as far as she can. Mickie starts screaming in pain. Beth is dominating in the early minutes. Then, Beth lets go of it after awhile and Mickie gets her breath back. Beth then starts to kick her in the head. After a few seconds, she grabs Mickie and lifts her up. She goes for a power slam but fails to do so as Mickie goes for the hurrancarrana. Beth goes down as the crowd start to cheer Mickie on. Mickie then starts to feel the momentum as Beth is in a sitting position, she kicks her in the face. Beth then goes down. Mickie takes advantage of this as she then went for a leg drop. This winded Beth as she is unable to breathe for a bit. Mickie then lifts Beth to a standing position and drags her with her to the turnbuckle. Mickie goes on top and goes for a Thesz Press from the top turnbuckle. Beth is now down as Mickie goes for the pin

BETH KICKS OUT!

Mickie then could not believe this and the match continues on. Three and a half minutes gone from the match and lots of things have happened so far. Mickie controls the match. Mickie then gets up as she starts to kick Beth, but then, Beth caught Mickie’s legs and she fell over. Beth then kept holding her leg as she then went for a knee strike. Mickie’s legs slammed the ring as she was hurt. Beth then stood on her own two feet. She was very angry as she then went and lifted Mickie once again. She went for a Sidewalk Slam. Mickie went down so quickly and she looked quite hurt after this. Beth then grabbed Mickie’s two legs and went to do a submission move on her. She locked in the Cloverleaf hold on her as Mickie once again screamed and shouted in pain. The crowd was getting mad at this and was booing Beth on. Beth then tightens the hold as Mickie is about to tap out. She is about to tap out, but changes her mind as she tries to crawl towards the ropes. Beth, who still has the hold on her, is now losing the grip. Mickie is ever so close to the ropes now. Beth now tries her best to keep her out of it and make her tap out. Mickie reaches for the ropes and she succeeds. Beth could not believe this and she was told to let go of it. She then did after a few moments and left a hopeless Mickie lying on the ground. The match is not over as Beth then lifts Mickie once again, but unexpectedly, Mickie hits Beth with a MICK KICK! Beth goes down as Mickie goes for the pin.

BETH KICKS OUT AGAIN!!!!!

Mickie James has tried everything. Even her best move and she cannot even break down Beth. Mickie gets crazy for this as she starts to take out her rage by kicking and punching Beth. It is no use as Beth hits a huge blow and hits Mickie in the eye. Mickie then goes down and looks shocked at what just happened. Beth then stands up and waits for Mickie to stand up too. Now both stand up and they start hitting each other with huge punches in the face. Mickie then dropkicks Beth but to no effect. Beth did not drop down to the floor but was still standing. Beth then went and clotheslined Mickie to the ground. Mickie goes down and Beth is grinning towards the fans. Mickie was moving about slightly in the floor as Beth keeps working on Mickie and trying to make her stay in the ground. Beth then grabs Mickie up to standing position. She lifts Mickie up and she was going for the electric chair drop! She hits it and Mickie slams in the floor. Mickie does not look like she could escape Beth but there is a slight possibility. Beth now stares at Mickie for one second and then decides to finish her off. She goes on top of Mickie and starts to do multiple of punches. She then went on to pull her hair as Mickie screams in pain. Beth then let go of her hair and stood up in the ring. She then grabs Mickie and drags her towards the ropes. She then goes to Irish Whip her as Mickie went to the opposite ropes and came back towards Beth. Beth was ready to clothesline but got a shock as Mickie did DDT on her. Beth goes down and Mickie is also down. She then slowly gets up. As Mickie gets up, the fans cheer for her as she now was ready to do her finisher on Beth. She grabbed Beth up to a standing position and then went for the MICK KICK! BUT BETH DODGES IT! Beth then grabbed Mickie to face her and then she lifted Mickie up and went for a GLAM SLAM! She then goes for the pin.

*****Three*****!!!

Beth is the new Women’s Champion!

Lillian: Winner and NEW WOMENS CHAMPION: BETH PHOENIX!

King: Beth just won JR!

JR: It was a great and entertaining match and I, for one, am happy for Beth but Mickie also put in one hell of a fight!

King: Well, Night of Champions is looking great already, there’s still more to come and hopefully it will be as entertaining as these first two matches!

*Backstage: Todd Grisham is interviewing Batista*

Todd: So Batista, you are going to face Edge in tonight’s main event for the WWE Championship. Do you have anything to say about this match?
Batista: As a matter of fact I do, Todd. You see, Edge speared me down this past Monday on Raw. Now, I think that’s a cheap shot. I personally don’t like it and I absolutely hate people who do that. So, tonight Edge, if you try and do anything like this again, you will pay for it and even your whole group with Rated R Golden will pay for it. Speaking of those two, I think you will try interfering in this match and let me tell you, you will not break down the Animal. You can try all you want but at the end of the day, you will pay the price.

*Just then Shelton Benjamin walks in*

Shelton: What’s that I heard Batista?

Batista: You heard me; you will pay the price if you and Haas interfere.

Shelton: You need to know that I am the golden standard and so the price is in my pocket. In other words, Batista, you cannot take down the Golden Standard, I will make you pay the price and it will cost you an opportutinity.

Batista: Well if that is the case, then I think that you are not a good wrestler, you steal wins and opportunities just like Edge. That is why you are in a lonely group full of people who hate who they are.

*Shelton gets angry but just stares at Batista and then decides to leave*

JR: A bit of heat between two superstars and Batista does not look impressed at Rated R Golden.

Cryme Tyme walk down a back corridor, having just arrived. Mark Henry comes out from behind some crates. Cryme Tyme stare warily at him.

Henry: Shad… JTG… ha! I’m amazed that you’re even here tonight, after the beating I gave you last week.

Cryme Tyme stay silent.

Henry: So, JTG, still feeling my World’s Strongest Slam? What about you, Shad? Your ribs suddenly not broken after my Bear Hug?

Shad steps forward.

Shad: Y’know, Mark, later tonight, something pretty impressive’s gonna happen. It’s not going to be us winning the titles…

He looks at JTG and the pair smile.

Shad: We’re gonna do that anyway. But it’ll be a pretty sweet club coming back – and we’ll be in it.

JTG also steps forward.

JTG: And then, if you even come as close to us as you are now, you’ll have members crawling all over you.

Henry frowns.

Shad: And when we say it’s coming back, buddy, it’s not like it’s been in the WWE before – well, it’s been there, just not to the effect that it’ll be there when the whole faction kicks your ass.

The fans cheer and Henry takes a step back, before silently leaving. Cryme Tyme smirk as the camera cuts back to the ring.

Cole: Well JR, don’t mind that right now as it is the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line.

Foley: Yeah baby, it looks really good!

Video package.

[Cole: It seems it will be Jesse and Festus taking on Cryme Tyme, and also Hawkins and Ryder at Night of Champions!

-Festus dominates as Jesse and Festus beat Cryme Tyme-

-A double team from Cryme Tyme helps them beat Hawkins and Ryder-

-Hawkins and Ryder Spear Festus twice as they take victory over the Biscuits ‘n’ Gravy pair-

-Every team with one win, one loss…-

Who will emerge as the WWE Tag Team Champions?]

A bell rings.

The sound of a powerful electric guitar blazes over the speakers and the crowd starts to boo.

Roberts: The following is a Triple Threat Tornado Tag Team Match, and it is for the WWE Tag Team Championships! Introducing first, from Long Island, New York, at a combined weight of 435 pounds, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder!

Hawkins and Ryder appear, high fiving. They charge down to the ring, slide in, and Hawkins gets up on the turnbuckle while Ryder balances on the second rope. They smile evilly and get down, and new music starts up.

YO, YO, YO, YO, SHAD GASPARD AND JTG, IT’S CRYME TYME!

The crowd erupts for Cryme Tyme! The pair appear on the ramp looking slightly disheartened as highlights show of Mark Henry brutalising the pair two nights before on SmackDown.

Roberts: And from Brooklyn, New York, at a combined weight of 530 pounds, Cryme Tyme!

The crowd cheer again, and Cryme Tyme wobble down the ramp, dancing tenderly. They get in the ring, and Hawkins and Ryder laugh at the injured Cryme Tyme.

BISCUITS AND GRAYVY…

And the crowd cheers again for Jesse and Festus!

Roberts: And from North Carolina, at a combined weight of 545 pounds, Jesse and Festus!

Another cheer. Jesse leads Festus down the ramp, helps him into the ring, and waits for the bell. It rings, and all eyes are on Festus as he turns to his furious self.

Match 3
Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder vs. Cryme Tyme vs. Jesse and Festus
WWE Tag Team Championships

Everyone runs from Festus (except Jesse) and escapes, except Curt Hawkins, who isn’t quick enough, and is caught by the rampaging Festus and dragged back to the centre, where Festus starts to pound him. Ryder slides back in the ring, and takes out a charging Jesse with a boot, before attempting to clothesline Festus… No! Festus drops Hawkins, grabs Ryder’s arm in mid-swing, and bites it! The crowd groans in horror, and Ryder lets out a furious yell of agony. In comes Cryme Tyme, with Shad low-blowing Festus, forcing him to let go in pain, and, with Ryder bending over in pain, JTG springboards off Ryder’s back and hits a great Lou Thesz Press! The crowd cheers, and Jesse scrambles up, kicking JTG from Festus, who gets up and hits the Battering Ram to the nearest person, Curt Hawkins, who collapses in silence as the crowd groans from the impact. Hawkins looks out for the count.

Festus roars. Cryme Tyme join up in the centre of the ring, and hold Festus as Ryder pounds away. Jesse tries to help, but Cryme Tyme fling Festus to the mat, and charge at Jesse, hitting a Double Shoulder Block. Jesse falls, shocked by Cryme Tyme’s speed. Zack Ryder doesn’t try to take on both men, opting instead to hit a Leg Drop on to the grounded Festus. Cryme Tyme lift Jesse, and fling him from the ring, meaning he lands on the outside. They then move on to Ryder, but he puts up a fight, holding off the men ‘til Festus gets back up, then sliding between Shad’s legs, leaving him as Festus’ main target. Festus obliges to Ryder’s implied command, slogging away at Cryme Tyme, and knocking them across the ring like straw dummies.

Jesse gets up, and scrabbles back into the ring. Ryder attacks him, and the pair brawl in the corner. Festus sees Ryder and charges, looking for the Battering Ram again, but Ryder sidesteps, causing Festus’ skull to rocket into the turnbuckle, and causing him to fly off, collapsing, holding his head. Jesse looks shocked. Cryme Tyme are up, and they Double DDT Jesse, cracking his head against the mat with force. Ryder backs up the turnbuckle, and leaps off, clotheslining JTG but not Shad, who ducks. Shad sweeps away Ryder’s legs, and holds out a knee for Ryder to fall on to, which he does, and rolls away in pain. Shad leans against the ropes, tired, but Jesse and Festus are up, as is JTG. The two tag teams brawl for half a minute before any breakthrough, when Festus takes down both Shad and JTG. Ryder scrambles up, and starts to brawl with Jesse.

Festus sees the brawl and charges at Ryder, but Ryder grabs Jesse and yanks him in front of him, meaning that Festus hits the Battering Ram on to Jesse! The crowd groans again with the impact as Jesse crumples without a word, and Festus looks shocked. He stands, stunned, until Ryder and Cryme Tyme start to pound him, when he forces them all away and kneels by Jesse. Shad nods to JTG, and as JTG goes up top, Shad runs forward, kicking Festus in the head with aplomb. Festus falls to the mat, and JTG hits an Elbow Drop from up top, winding the Corn-Fed Colossus, and allowing Shad to cover… 1 – Ryder breaks it up. JTG clotheslines Ryder, then hits a Knee Drop, before picking him up, and whipping him to the turnbuckle. He then whips Shad to the turnbuckle, too, giving extra momentum to his team-mate as Ryder feels the force of Shad’s moving elbow. Ryder exhaustedly falls to the mat.

Shad and JTG tiredly high five, then turn, but Festus is there, taking down JTG with the Battering Ram, causing him to crumple like tissue as well. The commentators mention, stunned, that Festus has taken out three men with that move now, including his team-mate, and he doesn’t look like stopping, as he charges towards Shad, but Shad sees it, and uses a Drop Toe Hold, forcing Festus’ skull to ram straight into the floored Zack Ryder! Ryder is decimated after Festus’ head blazes into his chest, and Festus didn’t come off too well, either.

Shad is the only man left standing. Crumpled bodies lie all around him. He takes a moment to rest, taking a knee in the centre of the ring. He breathes heavily, waiting for a long time, then gets up. Hawkins is outside the ring, still out from the Battering Ram. Ryder is crumpled in the corner, Festus lying by him after Festus’ skull was driven into Ryder’s abdomen. JTG and Jesse are both knocked out from the Battering Ram too, with JTG showing no signs of stirring. Jesse is less hurt, as Festus was slowing down when he saw who he was charging at. Shad moves towards the corner where Festus and Ryder are, and tries to pull Ryder away from Festus for the cover. However, Festus comes to, and scrambles up with a roar. He charges at Shad, and connects with a Big Boot to the chest. The crowd groans with the impact.

Festus slaps his sides. The crowd knows what’s coming and starts to cheer. Festus bounces off the ropes, and looks for the Senton Splash, but no! Shad rolls away, and Festus connects with the mat! Shad rises. Festus breathes heavily as he gets up, and charges crazily once more, but Shad reverses it into a Samoan Drop, and Festus smashes against the mat. The crowd cheers, and Shad makes a rare cover… 1 – 2 – kick out from an exhausted Festus, who stays down. Shad scales the turnbuckle slowly, then soars down on to Festus with a Knee Drop, connecting with Festus’ stomach, and looking to have put him out.

Suddenly, Jesse opens his eyes, and slowly uses the ropes to tenderly struggle to his feet, but dizzy when there. He sees Shad. Shad moves in, and Jesse is helpless as he hits an Exploder Suplex! The fans cheer – the end is near! Shad tries to stir JTG, but his partner is out of it, meaning it’s down to him. Shad peels Jesse from the mat, lifts him up, and connects with the Thugnificent! The crowd cheers uncontrollably, and Shad collapses over Jesse in exhaustion. The ref counts, and the crowd chants along… 1 – 2 – 3!

Match Winners: Cryme Tyme

Match Time: 10:06

Cole: Cryme Tyme has done it! They are the new WWE Tag Team Champions!

Foley: Not sure Mark Henry will be happy about this!

*Backstage*

First, Mark Henry walking down a hallway. He meets Cryme Tyme, who are holding their WWE Tag Team Championships. Shad leans in close to Henry.

Shad: Just wait, Mark, not long now…

And Cryme Tyme walks off, leaving Henry to wonder about the return of this faction.

*Back to Arena*

JR: It is now time for the World Tag Team Championship contest!

King: It is looking very good and I am hyped up about this!

*Video Package:
It all started at the first Monday after the draft. Team Priceless came out and introduced themselves. They said they will be the most dominant team in the current WWE. They also said that they will win titles and said that Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase will tag team. Then Londricks came out and started to say that they can’t win anything by talking like that. Team Priceless challenges them for a match on Raw but Kendrick had other ideas. He said that he will face one of the three guys and if he wins, he will make Londricks face Priceless at Night of Champions. So later on the night, Kendrick faced DH Smith who volunteered to challenge in this match. He lost to Kendrick and therefore set this match up*

‘Hey You’ hits as Paul London and Brian Kendrick make their way to the ring. The crowd cheers for them.

Lillian: Introducing the first tag team, weighing in a combined weight of 399 lbs, THE LONDRICKS!

‘Priceless’ hits as Ted Dibiase and Rhodes make their way to the ring. The crowd boos them heavily.

Match 4 – Tag Team Match

Londricks vs. Team Priceless

All four men look to be in shape as the match is about to start. Brian Kendrick tells Paul London that he should start the match. He will first go up against Cody Rhodes. Ted Dibiase and Paul London go to their respective corners. The ref rings the bell and the match starts. Kendrick looks to be in shape and he immediately goes for Rhodes. He starts to dropkick him about. He then kicks Rhodes in the face as Rhodes then starts to fall down in the ring. The fans are enjoying the start of this match. Kendrick is now going over to Rhodes and handing him quite a surprise. He first grabs Rhodes and starts to punch him in the face. He then does a headbutt to him as Ted Dibiase looks on at this. He let go of Rhodes and goes towards the turnbuckle. He then goes on top and goes for a corner backflip dropkick! But Rhodes got away. Kendrick falls face flat on the ring. The crowd did not like that. Rhodes slowly got up and started working on Kendrick. He went for the Knee Drop first and Kendrick is hurt on his leg. Kendrick is not moving up or anything as Rhodes dominates all over him. He then grabs one of Kendrick’s arms and starts to twist it hard. Dibiase is rooting Rhodes on. Kendrick tries to get out of it but cannot do it. Rhodes finally let go of him and then went over to tag in Ted Dibiase. Dibiase comes in quickly and smashes his legs on Kendrick’s face. Dibiase then starts to punch him on the neck and gave him a bit of a choke. He was asked to get off him immediately and so he did just that. Dibiase then lifted Kendrick up to a standing position and Irish whipped him to the ropes and back again. He went for a kick to gut but could not do it because Kendrick converted it into powerful DDT. Dibiase goes down and his face smashes the ring. Kendrick slowly went towards his partner’s corner and London was hyped up to come in the match. He then was tagged into the ring and his momentum was phenomenal. He was very hyped up and he cleaned house. Dibiase ran up to him and he went for a roundhouse kick. Rhodes came in too and he got dropkicked to the outside of the ring. Dibiase was down and is not yet moving. London went and grabbed him and went for a Mushroom stomp. Dibiase was still down and London is feeling that he has to finish Dibiase off this early. He grabbed Dibiase and then went for a Northern Lights suplex but failed since Dibiase punched him in the face. London covered up his face and was a bit hurt. Dibiase took advantage of this as he hit London with a Vertical suplex. London goes down and Dibiase went for a pin.

BUT LONDON KICKS OUT! Dibiase did not like this but moved on and tagged in Cody Rhodes to the match. Rhodes then seemed angry as he worked on London. He first did some punches on London so he does not stand up and then he stomped on London’s ankle which hurt him quite bad. London was in pain as Rhodes then went on to lift him up and go for a snap scoop powerslam. He hit it perfectly as London then goes down hurt again. Rhodes grins at this as he lifts London again and Irish whips him to the turnbuckle. London is placed there and Rhodes goes on the other side goes for a turnbuckle spear. He runs and hits it but London moves away and Rhodes hits the turnbuckle instead. London then went for a dropsault from the top rope and landed right in front of Rhodes! Rhodes falls down with London on top of him. London then stands up and tags in his partner, Brian Kendrick. Now, he looks angry at Rhodes as he wants some revenge. He goes and grabs him and goes for a facebreaker. Once again, Rhodes is down and will not tag his partner in for the moment. Kendrick then starts to do some quick kicks on Rhodes and everywhere in his body. Rhodes looks hurt as Kendrick continues on. Kendrick then leaves him there and goes on top of the turnbuckle. He goes for the suicide dive on Rhodes but out of nowhere, Dibiase catches his legs as Kendrick then falls to the ground. The ref did not see this as he was helping Rhodes. London gets angry and comes inside the ring but to only get told to go back. Rhodes slowly gets up and tags in Dibiase as he can’t continue for the moment. Dibiase works on Kendrick as he then starts to kick his legs as that’s where it hurts Kendrick the most. Dibiase then did a legsweep on him. Kendrick does not look too good but is just going to have to endure this until he finds a way. Dibiase then went over to London and gave him a cheap shot. He goes down as Dibiase walks back to Kendrick and went for his submission finisher. He hits the Cobra Clutch on Kendrick as he screams in pain. Kendrick is about to tap out but decides to wait a little bit longer. Dibiase tries his hardest to make him tap out. It took a little while and the hold was broken by London interfering. London kicked Dibiase in the face. The ref told him to stop or they would get disqualified. He stops and goes back to his place. Kendrick takes advantage of this as he then is about to kick Dibiase. Suddenly, Rhodes comes to the ring but Kendrick clotheslines him off. Kendrick then feels the momentum growing inside of him. He leaves it to London though as he tags him in and looks like Dibiase has no chance. London first does a superkick on him and then goes on the top turnbuckle. He then hit Dibiase with a dangerous 450 SPLASH! Dibiase goes down as London then went for the pin on him.

Londricks have done it! They go outside the ring and grab their World Tag Team Championship belts!

Lillian: And here is your winners and the new WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, PAUL LONDON AND BRIAN KENDRICK!

JR: The Londricks have done it!

King: What a beautiful moment they are having right now!

JR: What a great match it was and they did it from one hard victory!

*Backstage: We see London and Kendrick celebrating but they meet the Hardy Boyz on the way*

Jeff: So first of all, I would like to say congratulations on your victory.

Matt: And the second thing we want to say is that we are going to come and be your next challengers.

Kendrick: Well thanks for the compliments and I appreciate it. It was a hard victory out there. Right now, we are very exhausted and excited. You two are great competitors and we accept this challenge.

London: We will not lose it easily, we will try holding onto it as long as we can.

Jeff: But the Hardy Boyz is the greatest tag team ever and we are tough competition so don’t think you will win that easily. Anyway congrats once again. Come on Matt, we’re leaving now.

Matt: See you guys later.

*Back to arena*

JR: There’s already competition and the Hardys are definitely the greatest!
Cole: Well JR we have to leave you off it since next up is the United States Championship match!

Foley: This is what I am looking forward to most and it sure looks like one heck of a match with three great superstars!

Video package.

[Cole: MVP, Finlay, and John Morrison have all qualified for this United States Championship Match!

-MVP hosts a controversial VIP Lounge with Shawn Micheals-

-His match with the Heartbreak Kid ends with a Sweet Chin Music to the Ballin’ Superstar-

-And a Punt to Porter’s head from the returning Randy Orton-

-MVP issues a dire warning to the Legend Killer and the Heartbreak Kid-

But how will this impact the title match?]

A bell rings.

ONE, TWO… YOU HEAR THE CLOCK TICKING? TICK, TOCK, YOU’RE ABOUT TO STOP LIVING…

The crowd begins to boo for MVP.

Roberts: The following is a Triple Threat Match, and it is for the United States Championship! Introducing first, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 252 pounds, Montel Vontavious Porter… MVP!

The crowd boos louder as Porter bursts from his tunnel and wanders cockily down the ramp. He gets in the ring, inconspicuously looking around for Randy Orton or Shawn Micheals.

An Irish theme starts up to a huge cheer!

Roberts: And from Belfast, Northern Ireland, weighing in at 235 pounds… Finlay!

The crowd rises to its feet to welcome Finlay with cheers. The Fighting Irishman walks down the ramp, shillelagh in hand, before getting in the ring, and pointing the Irish weapon at Porter with menace.

NOW, LISTEN… THIS AIN’T NO MAKE BELIEVE…

The usual rock and roll song starts, and John Morrison arrives on the stage as the final participant, to booing.

Roberts: And from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 220 pounds… John Morrison!

More booing. After a bit of posing on the stage, Morrison bounces down the ramp, and gets in the ring, warily looking at both his opponents. The match begins.

Match 5
MVP vs. Finlay vs. John Morrison
United States Championship

MVP grabs Finlay immediately, and whips him the corner. Finlay holds there, waiting. MVP waits for a second, then charges, but John Morrison trips him up! MVP collapses comically, furious. Finlay climbs the turnbuckle beside him, and Morrison grabs MVP, holding him for Finlay. Finlay leaps from the turnbuckle, but Morrison throws MVP aside, and Superkicks Finlay in mid-air! The crowd is stunned, and the commentators mention that it’s every man for himself. Morrison grabs MVP, whips him to the ropes, and waits in position for a Back Body Drop, but MVP sees it, stops, and kicks Morrison hard in the face. Morrison reels back in pain, and MVP charges again, connecting with a huge boot to the chest of Morrison, who falls back and holds on to the ropes. MVP charges for a third time in a short time, but Morrison lifts him behind him, thinking he’s thrown MVP from the ring…

…But MVP grabs on to the ropes, and lands on the apron. As Morrison heads towards Finlay, MVP climbs the turnbuckle, and jumps off, connecting with a Double Axe Handle to the back of Morrison’s head. Morrison turns, angry, and attempts a Dropkick, but MVP moves out of the way, and kicks Morrison hard in the stomach as he comes down, sending him rolling across the ring in pain. Finlay gets up, and starts a brawl with MVP. Finlay takes the upper hand, and backs MVP into the corner. A few stomps have MVP sitting, exhausted, at the bottom of the turnbuckle. Finlay continues to stomp away, and soon Morrison is up, and sprints across the ring, before Dropkicking MVP in the head. MVP yells out, and Finlay drags him from the turnbuckle, then covers… 1 – 2 kick out by MVP as Morrison comes near.

Finlay gets up, gives a hard kick to MVP’s back, then, noticing Morrison moving in, lifts the Shaman Of Sexy up and hitting the Atomic Drop, to a groan from Morrison. He then jabs Morrison a few times in the ribs, and ducks round behind him, before grabbing him from behind and delivering a German Suplex! The crowd cheers moderately, and Finlay covers… 1 – 2 MVP breaks it up, diving on the pair. All three men get to their feet slowly, but it’s Morrison who is quickest to react, and as both Finlay and MVP swing at him, he ducks, and the pair hit each other, falling back. Morrison runs towards the ropes, cleverly uses a Rope-Run to find himself airborne, and Corkscrews impressively in the air to add some power as he crashes down with a Splash to Finlay. Cover… 1 – 2 – kick out from the Fighting Irishman. Morrison looks around for MVP, but he’s nowhere to be seen. Morrison locks Finlay in a Sleeper Hold as he gets up, and the pressure’s on. Finlay is being asked by the ref if he wants to tap, but he won’t. The hold continues, and suddenly… BAM! Drive-By Kick from MVP to Morrison! MVP came from nowhere! Morrison collapses to the floor, and MVP covers… 1 – 2 – kick out! Morrison kicks out from the Drive-By! Although it’s not a finisher, it still packs a punch, and Morrison kicked out!

MVP gets up, amazed. He lifts Morrison from the floor, and whips him to the turnbuckle. He prepares for the Player’s Boot, and yells wildly before charging forward… no! Morrison moves from the scene, and MVP connects awkwardly at the turnbuckle! The crowd groans, the rising Finlay waits, and as MVP turns, clutching his leg, Finlay turns him upside down, runs forward with him on his back, and connects with the Celtic Cross! The fans go wild for Finlay, and he covers… 1 – 2 – Morrison breaks it up, sending Finlay rolling away with a hard kick. The fans boo. With MVP still down, Morrison climbs the turnbuckle. He has his back to the ring, and launches off in Moonsault position… shillelagh! The crowd groans hugely with the impact as Finlay gets up, grabs his shillelagh, and swings it like a baseball bat as Morrison comes down, connecting to the Shaman Of Sexy round the head. Morrison rolls across the ring in absolute agony, rolling out the ring.

The ref tells Finlay off, but since this is a Triple Threat, it’s no-DQ. MVP gets up, and Finlay swings again, but MVP sees it coming, and ducks, before kicking Finlay in the gut, bouncing off the ropes, and connecting with a huge boot to the side of Finlay’s head. MVP falls on top of the Fighting Irishman, hooking a leg… 1 – 2 – kick out from Finlay. MVP gets up, looks down, and chuckles. He bounces off the ropes, runs towards Finlay, and does his usual theatrics before hitting the Ballin’ Elbow! The crowd groans, and MVP covers again… 1 – 2 – kick out by Finlay again. MVP is getting annoyed. He rises again, waits in the corner, and as Finlay rises, he goes for the Drive-By… Finlay moves! Finlay raises his head from the target zone, and although MVP jumps off Finlay’s knee like he should, his kicking foot hits thin air, and he falls. Porter gets up pretty quickly, but the advantage is with Finlay, who hooks The Franchise Player into a Fireman’s Carry, and hits the Finlay Roll! The crowd cheers, and Finlay smiles. MVP groans and struggles up. Finlay bends down, and slings MVP over his back… Air Raid Siren! The crowd goes wild for the power move, and MVP is stunned on the floor.

John Morrison is up on the outside. He clutches his face, but manages to struggle up on to a top turnbuckle. Finlay covers MVP, but he doesn’t know that Morrison is there, and the Shaman Of Sexy flies off with the Moonsault… and it connects! The crowd is amazed as the Moonsault hits Finlay and MVP, and Morrison immediately rolls Finlay to the side and covers… 1 – 2 – kick out! Morrison is stunned, as is the crowd, but the match is still going! Morrison quickly lifts Finlay to his feet, and sets him up for the Moonlight Drive, but MVP comes in and connects with a huge boot to the side of Morrison’s head. As Morrison collapses, MVP starts to stomp away at Finlay. After a while of doing this, he whips Finlay to the corner, charges, and finally connects with the Player’s Boot! The crowd doesn’t boo, in fact, they’re cheering, and MVP doesn’t understand, until he turns into the Sweet Chin Music! Shawn Micheals! The Heartbreak Kid arrives on the scene with a bang! MVP falls, out cold, but suddenly in comes Randy Orton through the crowd, and slides in the ring! Micheals sees Orton, but he’s too late to do anything as Orton runs forward and connects with the RKO! The crowd boos, and Micheals collapses. Orton breathes heavily above HBK with a smirk on his face, but soon BAM! Finlay? The crowd is stunned as Finlay connects with a massive shillelagh shot to Randy Orton’s face! The Legend Killer falls like a rag doll as the fans go wild. Micheals and MVP have rolled out the ring and are nowhere to be seen, and Orton, clutching his face, scrambles out in agony. Morrison is up, and exhaustedly charges towards Finlay, but the Fighting Irishman sees it coming, and connects with another huge shillelagh shot! Down goes Morrison, and Finlay smiles broadly before kneeling by Morrison, and hooking a leg through the cover… 1 – 2 – 3! Chaos in the United States Championship Match, but Finlay pulls through!

Match Winner: Finlay

Match Time: 14:36

Cole: Finlay wins but what just happened there? HBK came for MVP and then Orton came from nowhere and RKO’d HBK! This certainly looks good.

Foley: Cannot wait to see what twists are there for these three talented superstars!

*Backstage*

Super Crazy walks down a back corridor, filled with storage and other useless stuff. There is a large hole at the end, where a limousine sits, waiting. Crazy holds his Cruiserweight Title, and looks at it happily as he walks towards the car. Suddenly, he sees Nunzio charging out of the corner of his eye, and spins, clocking him with the title belt! The crowd cheers, and Crazy spins again, but too late to stop a charging Gregory Helms from connecting with the Shining Wizard! The crowd boos, and Helms laughs, giving Crazy and Nunzio a hard kick each before walking away.

*Back to Arena*

JR: Well this is the time where everyone has been looking forward to. It’s the Intercontinental Championship on the line and I cannot wait to seeing who the champion is by the end of this match.

King: Let’s see how this all started!

*Video Package: It all started when these two men entered for the WWE Championship Tournament. Both men lost. Santino was in the section 2 and he was facing both Jeff and Matt Hardy. He won the match when Jeff Hardy did a Swanton Bomb on Matt Hardy and he stole his win by pinning Matt.*

Match 6 – Singles Match

Santino Marella vs. Mr Kennedy

Both men are now in the ring as the match is about to start. The ref holds the IC Title up high in the air and gives it in to a random person who places it near the announce table. The ref rings the bell and the match has officially started. Both men stare at each other first but move in closer to each other. Now they grab each others heads and then for about a second they try to take one another down. Santino gets off the hold and then kicks Kennedy in the stomach. He then starts to punch Kennedy in the face. He leads Kennedy towards the ropes but Kennedy counters and pushes Santino back. Santino did not like that but smiles anyway and feels his chest. Kennedy then starts to kick Santino down and then pokes him in the eye. Santino gets hurt on the eye and then turns around and starts to go crazy. Kennedy then grabs his back and goes for a Side Slam Backbreaker. Santino goes down as Kennedy is taking no time. Kennedy then rolls Santino for a quick cover but Santino kicks out after just half a pin. Kennedy then tries again but the same result happened twice. Now, Kennedy starts to kick Santino in the back and then grabbed one of his legs and starts to twist it. Santino screams and is ready to tap out. Kennedy shouts too and makes the hold too strong for Santino. Santino then reverses from nowhere and kicks Kennedy with his other leg. Kennedy now goes down as Santino begins to try standing up. He then finally does and Kennedy is still on the ground. Santino then grabs Kennedy’s head and lifts him up. He then punches him a little and then he goes for a full nelson facebuster! Kennedy goes down once again as Santino goes for the pin.

Kennedy kicks out in no time as the cover did not even reach a full two count. Santino did not like this and then he went and kicked so hard on Kennedy’s face. Kennedy is hurt on the head as he crouches down and goes to feel his pained head. Santino is enjoying this right now as the fans watch on at him. Santino then grabs Kennedy once more and starts to kick his stomach from sideways. But Kennedy does not take this anymore as he grabs Santino’s leg and turns it and smashes him to the ground. Both men now on the ground as the ref starts counting 1…2…3…Kennedy slowly reaching up…5…Kennedy is now up and immediately goes to attack Santino. Santino is still on the floor as Kennedy attacks him with a few punches on the head and then puts him on a sleeper hold. He has locked it in as Santino cannot get out of it so easily. Kennedy has put on the hold and is holding Santino’s head strongly. The ref checks on Santino to see if he is knocked out or not. The ref pulls up Santino’s arms and then releases it. Santino did not move his arms so the ref tries it a second time, again the same thing happened. The ref does it the third time and if Santino does not move, then Kennedy wins. The ref does it but this time Santino’s arms move and he starts to come out of the hold. He elbows Kennedy in the chest a couple of times and Kennedy then releases Santino’s head. Santino then stunned Kennedy as he then goes down. He looks really hurt on the head as Santino now gets up and grabs Kennedy to a standing position too. He lifts him up and goes for a lifting chokehold. Kennedy tries to get out of it but this proves to look too strong to reverse. Santino holds it on but his arms are now aching. He drops Santino and the ref told him to stop the choke and then he finally does. Santino aches his arms as Kennedy is kneeling in the floor. Kennedy then stands up and Santino is about to stand up but cannot do it since his arms ache badly. Kennedy then goes up to Santino and starts to punch his head and this hurts Santino. Kennedy then grabs his left arm and tries to Irish whip him but can’t do this since Santino holds back his arm and then does a mini clothesline on Kennedy. Kennedy then goes down as Santino goes for a quick pin.

He then lifts himself up to a standing position and goes for a diving headbutt. He places his hand to do a salute and he jumps off. Kennedy gets away as Santino falls to the ground face first. Santino looks hurt as Kennedy then grabs him and lifts him up for an inverted suplex. Santino falls to the ground once more as Kennedy starts shouting his own name and the crowd starts to boo him for this. Kennedy did not look like he was finished as he then grabs Santino once more but was followed by one powerful DDT! Kennedy now goes down and looks hurt as Santino is also in the ground. The ref starts counting again 1…2…3…4…5…6…Santino now gets up and looks to be finishing this match off. Santino now grabs Kennedy and is going to do his finisher. He goes for a SNAP SWINGING NECKBREAKER! He hits it perfectly as Kennedy goes down. He then goes for a pin.

KENNEDY KICKS OUT! This was totally unexpected as Santino looks to be in shock. He thinks that it is impossible to make Kennedy lose by pinning him. So he grabs Kennedy again and this time he goes for his finisher again and hits him with it. This time he fails as Kennedy turned the move into a minor spear! Santino lands on his back and does not feel too well. Kennedy then gets up and grabs Santino as he was now going to do the GREEN BAY PLUNGE! He hits it and Santino lands hard on the ground and looks to be finished. Kennedy then goes for the pin.

Roberts: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the World Heavyweight Championship!

The crowd cheers. A white limousine draws towards the ramp, and out gets JBL.

Roberts: Introducing first, from New York City, weighing in at 290 pounds… John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield!

The crowd erupts into boos. JBL moves down the ramp slowly, looking dully at the fans. He gets in the ring and takes off his hat and jacket, but leaves his towel on for the time being.

And JBL’s music soon stops, to be replaced with Rey Mysterio’s! The crowd cheers wildly, and out springs Mysterio! He spins and leaps about the stage, causing fireworks to burst up all over.

Roberts: And from San Diego, California, weighing in at 165 pounds… Rey Mysterio!

The crowd cheers again, and Rey walks down the ramp, touching heads with children at the side. He springs into the ring, and gets up on the turnbuckle, blessing himself before the match.

Mysterio is abruptly cut off by John Cena’s music, and every fan under fifteen is up on their feet – the roar is deafening! With Cena’s music hard to hear over the cheering, the Chain Gang Commander flies on to the stage, smiling wildly. Mysterio doesn’t look pleased that he was cut off, and he gets off the turnbuckle, annoyed. Cena runs down the ramp and slides ecstatically into the ring, prompting Mysterio and JBL to get out. Cena flings his cap and shirt into the crowd, and turns towards the ramp, ready.

Match 7
JBL vs. Rey Mysterio vs. John Cena vs. Chris Jericho
World Heavyweight Championship

Jericho rolls from the ring. As Cena and JBL head for each other, Mysterio hangs back, noticing Jericho’s immediate departure from the ring. Mysterio slides out of the ring, making sure not to be seen by Jericho, and slides under the ring. Cena takes the upper hand, and ducks behind JBL, pulling off a German Suplex. JBL grunts, rolls, and rises, clutching his back. Cena bounces off the ropes and hits a Flying Shoulder Block! JBL goes down but gets straight back up, to be met by another… and then another! Sick of this, JBL swings for a clothesline, but Cena ducks underneath, and hits the Killswitch! He looks out wildly towards the crowd, but shows no hand to them or JBL. Meanwhile, Rey Mysterio’s hands emerges from under the ring, and yanks out Jericho’s ankles from under him, causing him to land hard on his head on the arena floor. Mysterio smiles and scales the turnbuckle.

Cena still has shown no hand, and the fans are confused. Instead, Cena’s look changes from exhilarated to emotionless, and Cena bounces off the ropes, and hits a devastating Leg Drop to JBL’s neck! The crowd groans with the impact, and JBL rolls about in agony, eventually resting on his back in the centre of the ring. Mysterio decides that taking out Cena is probably a better idea, and so flies off, but Cena turns and catches Mysterio! The crowd can’t believe how Cena managed to do this, and Cena throws Mysterio on to his shoulders, before hitting the FU, and causing Mysterio to crash straight into JBL on the mat! The crowd is astounded by this new Cena, and it looks like not much can stop him, but as the ref kneels down to check on Mysterio, Jericho sneaks in and hits a Low Blow! The crowd boo wildly, and Cena collapses. Jericho scrambles towards Mysterio, covering, 1 – 2 – Cena makes it across to break it up!

Jericho can’t believe this. He picks JBL up, and flings him from the ring, before turning back to Mysterio. He picks him off the mat, then locks up with him and drags him towards the turnbuckle, with Mysterio nearest to it. He then shoves Mysterio’s head between his legs, lifts him up, and is just about to pull off a Powerbomb into the turnbuckle when Mysterio jumps clear, and lashes out with both feet as he falls, pushing Jericho hard into the turnbuckle, to cheers. Mysterio rolls as he hits the floor and is soon back on his feet. Cena is up, and Mysterio moves towards him, but Cena lifts him above his head, and is about to drop him, but Mysterio struggles free, and grabs Cena’s shoulders as he comes down. Mysterio hangs from Cena’s shoulders oddly, and Cena looks surprised, before Mysterio places both feet on Cena’s chest, and releases his grip on Cena’s shoulders, pushing Cena across the ring, and on to the second rope! Mysterio lands, and immediately charges, swinging on the ropes… 619! The fans go nuts and Cena goes flying across the ring! Cena scrambles up, dizzy, and Mysterio slingshots, leaps from the top rope, looking for the West Coast Pop, but suddenly… Clothesline From Hell! JBL gets back in the ring, and hits his finisher to Mysterio while Mysterio was airborne! The crowd groans with the impact, and JBL covers… 1 – 2 Jericho desperately breaks it up.

JBL, annoyed at Jericho’s persistence, gets up, bounces off the ropes, and looks for the Clothesline From Hell again, but Jericho ducks, and sticks a foot out, causing JBL to fall on to the second rope. Jericho takes a run-up, and charges, leaping up, and smashing down on JBL’s neck, one leg either side. JBL’s neck is bashed hard on to the ropes, and the Self-Made Millionaire looks in pain. Jericho gets off, and, with a hard boot, clears JBL from the ring. John Cena ominously rises, teeth oddly bared, and Jericho sees him. He looks confused at first, but then shrugs and moves towards Cena. Jericho leaps up, looking for a Dropkick, but Cena grabs Jericho’s legs, and smashes him down with a Powerbomb! The crowd groans with the impact, and Cena covers… 1 – 2 – broken up by Rey Mysterio. Jericho had no chance of kicking out, so Mysterio saved Jericho, and his own chances for the title, there. Cena gets up, looks Mysterio square in the face, then boots him in the stomach, and drops him with a Facebuster! The crowd groans with the impact, and Cena bares his teeth again, breathing heavily. He looks outward again, and the fans hope he might be about to go back to his usual self, but he does no such thing, bouncing off the ropes, and hitting another hard Leg Drop to Mysterio!

The crowd is amazed by this new Cena, and as the Chain Gang Commander rises from Leg Drop position, his bleak expression doesn’t change, except for him to frown slightly, tilt his head, and bare his teeth scarily again. The crowd is unsure what to think, and Cena continues his power roll, as he raises his right fist, and spins, clocking the charging Chris Jericho with a vicious punch to the face, with the force of a freight train! Jericho collapses in a heap, and the fans are perplexed, as Cena seems to see behind himself for the second time in one match. The camera shows two fans looking at each other, confused, before cutting back to the ring, where JBL is scrambling back into the ring. Cena turns this time, and hoists JBL on to his shoulders, looking for the FU, and the crowd erupts with pleasure until they see that Cena looks angry, not exhilarated, and Mysterio comes in, hitting a Dropkick to Cena’s knee, and forcing him to drop JBL.

JBL gets up, and connects with a huge boot to Cena’s head, with Cena falling to his knees. Mysterio bounces off the ropes, and hits a Throwback to Cena, smashing his face against the mat. JBL swings for the Clothesline From Hell to Mysterio, but the Ultimate Underdog ducks, and Dropkicks JBL in the back. JBL falls on to the second rope, and the fans erupt! Mysterio sees his chance, and jumps up a bit before charging, and hitting the 619! The fans go absolutely nuts, and Mysterio slingshots into a West Coast Pop attempt… but Cena is up, and he catches Mysterio in FU position! The fans are silenced, and Cena looks furious as he roars ‘CHAIN GANG!’, and drops Mysterio with the FU! The crowd are not sure how to react, and as Cena covers, they decide to boo this new John Cena. 1 – 2 – 3, however, and the new John Cena is the new World Heavyweight Champion! The crowd boos as Cena is handed the title, frowning, and his hand is hoisted into the air by the ref.

Match Winner: John Cena

Match Time: 14:59

Cole: JOHN CENA! CENA HAS WON THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!

Foley: Well done to Cena and what a match that was. All the smackdown champions are complete and what great matches we provided to the fans!

JR: Well the big title of Raw is on the line and it is the main event! The match is next but first of all, we go backstage as Edge is there in his locker room!

*Backstage: Edge is in the locker room with Haas & Benjamin*

Shelton: Well Edge, it is a shame that me and Haas cannot come and watch your match outside of the ring.

Haas: But we know you are better than Batista so you will win no doubt.

Edge: That is not what is concerning me right now but the fact that Batista who I have faced before, is over confident in winning. Well let me tell you Batista, you will not be able to beat Edge. I am a better superstar than you are. I will make it my 6th title I have won in a short space of time and I am also sick and tired of you main eventing every single PPV. So Batista, don’t think I will let you win easily, I will make it tough for you and you will fail to beat me.

Shelton:
Very well spoken, with this attitude, you will definitely be a great WWE Champion.

Edge: Well that is what I am, an ultimate opportunist and so if Batista think I get lucky, you’re wrong since I win without luck in my side.

*It then turns back to the Arena*

*Video Package: It all started from the WWE Tournament as it was announced by the Raw GM. Edge was announced he was going to face the Indian Giant, The Great Khali. He stole the win when Shelton Benjamin interfered and advanced to the triple threat. Batista faced Matt Hardy and beat him with a Batista Bomb. He advanced through to the second Triple Threat match. Edge faced Kane and CM Punk but he won the match when he speared Kane in the end. Batista was going to face Triple H and the Big Show. He won when he speared Big Show and then Batista Bombed him after that. We then saw the stare off at the end of Raw last week*

‘I Walk Alone’ hits as Batista makes his way to the ring. He seems motivated and hyped up for this match. The crowd cheers him on.

Lillian: Making his way to the ring, from Washington DC and weighing in at 290 lbs, BATISTA!

‘Metallingus’ hits as Edge makes his way to the ring and looks angry when he goes down the ramp. Batista gives a grin and makes Edge angrier. The crowd boos him out of the arena.

Lillian: And the opponent, from Toronto, Canada and weighing in at 250 lbs, EDGE!

WWE Championship
Main Event – Singles Match

Batista vs. Edge

Both men are now in the ring. They both are warming up but also stare at each other. The ref holds up the WWE Championship and gives it to someone. Then he rings the bell as the match has officially started. Edge stares at Batista at first but then goes towards him as both men get closer. Both then stare at each other and are nose to nose. Then finally Batista makes a move and punches Edge in the neck area. Edge then hits back as both men exchange punches for a bit. Then Batista pushes Edge to the side and he falls over. Edge then immediately stands up and stares viciously at Batista. Batista then charges at Edge but fails to clothesline him as Edge moves away. Edge then grabbed Batista’s neck but couldn’t do anything as Batista turns away and starts to punch Edge again. Edge did not like this so he kicks Batista away from him and he hit Batista in the gut. Batista crouches down as Edge grabs Batista’s head and slams it on his own knees and then Batista goes down. Edge then puts Batista in a headlock but was no good as Batista gets off of it immediately. Edge tries again but fails and then Batista gave a fatal blow on Edge’s face. Edge goes down once again and Batista stands up immediately after this. Batista is not taking any of this as he seems too hard to get down and hit any moves on. Edge has not been in great advantages so far as Batista is beginning to dominate this match. Batista then grabs Edge and starts to punch him in the head. Edge cannot do anything much as Batista then gave one huge punch to the head and let go of Edge for a moment. He then lifts Edge and goes for a diving shoulder block but fails as Edge then hits Batista with an Edge-O-Matic! Batista hits the ground and makes a powerful noise as the crowd boos Edge. Edge then starts to laugh and sitting down in the ring for a bit. He then finally gets up and walks over to the turnbuckle. He waits a bit for Batista to get up. After a few more seconds, Batista gets up but Edge wants him to turn around. He then does and Edge goes for the spear. Batista hits Edge in the gut and lifts him up for a Batista bomb. He then is about to hit it but Edge moves around and starts to punch Batista in the head whilst still on top. Batista then let’s go of Edge and Edge then connects with a bulldog. Both men are down and hurt. Edge then goes over to pin Batista.

*****One*****
*****Two*****
*****Thr-*****

BATISTA KICKS OUT! Edge then just lies on top of Batista for a few seconds and believes that he should have won this by that powerful bulldog. Edge then gets up and does not do much for another few seconds. He then goes back to Batista and starts to kick on his ankles. Batista gets hurt by it as Edge does not stop damaging it. He is doing this because he does not want Batista to be in good shape. Then, Edge stops but goes down the ground and now twists his ankles. If Batista taps out, he loses the match. Edge twists it hard and Batista is not tapping out but enduring the pain in his ankle. Batista then flips as he starts to sore Edge’s hands. Edge then let’s go off it as it came loose and Batista does not look happy at all. Edge starts to punch Batista but to no affect. Batista then stuns Edge as he grabbed his neck and stunned him a little. Batista then gets up as Edge gets hurt on the neck. Batista is too frustrated by Edge as he tries lots of ways to break him apart. Batista lifts Edge and goes for a Front Powerslam. Edge goes down once again as Batista gets more and more hyped up by doing powerful moves than Edge cannot even counter upon. Batista then stops with the slams and then he goes to the ropes and gets warmed up. He goes over to Edge but gets tripped up by him as he then falls over and hurt his ankles again. Edge is still on the floor but goes over to Batista and slams him down to the ground. He then gets up after awhile and grabs Batista as he now is standing up. Edge then went for the flapjack where he drops to the floor and slams Batista face first in the ring. Batista may have suffered a broken nose as Edge will not stop trying to break down the animal. Edge then grabbed Batista’s chin and went for a Seated Chinlock. Batista is screaming in pain as Edge has used all his energy to make Batista tap out. Batista’s chin looks to be sore and Edge continues to hold it on. Batista does not tap out so Edge releases the move and did not want to continue it any longer. Batista is moving about in the ring but cannot find any move to stop Edge. Edge then gets angry as he cannot take this anymore of Batista. Edge then ran up to Batista and was going to kick him in the head but he tripped up on Batista’s body and he falls in front of him. Batista also goes down but uses all his strength as he takes Edge away from him with a big push. Edge slams hard on the ring as Batista sets out to stand up once again. He then gets up finally and grabs Edge up too. He then takes him to the turnbuckle. He starts to do Repeated Turnbuckle Thrusts as Edge gets hurt on the chest and also winded. Edge seems to look like that he cannot breathe as Batista hits once more with the thrusts. He then gives a bit of room to Edge and then hits him by lifting him up again but with two hands. He then goes for the two-handed chokelift and slams Edge in the ring. Batista is not finished at all with Edge. He then grabs Edge by his hair and tries to do the spinebuster but Edge kicks him in the balls and Batista kneels down to the floor as his face looks very shocked as he gets hit where it hurts the most. Edge then smiles as he then grabs Batista and goes for the Electric Chair Facebuster. Batista once again goes down. Edge feels relieved and wants to finish Batista off. He then drags Batista down towards the turnbuckle. He then lifts Batista in the top of the turnbuckle. He then goes for a huge impact DDT. He fails to do so as Batista grabs Edge’s head and goes for the Suplex. Edge goes down hard on the ring as Batista looks surprised on doing the move. After awhile, both men start to get up at the same time. Batista gets up first and is waiting for Edge. He then runs up to Edge and attacks him with a Spear! Edge goes down hurt and fast down the ring. Batista looks to have finished off Edge. Batista then grabs Edge and goes for the spinebuster. He hits it perfectly as Edge looks to have been badly defeated by Batista. Nothing can stop Batista now as he now grabs Edge once again and this time, he goes for a BATISTA BOMB! He lifts Edge in the air but out came Haas and distracts the referee. The ref goes up to him to tell him to leave. From the audiences, out came Shelton Benjamin and he went inside the ring to attack Batista. Batista lets go of Edge as Shelton goes and kicks Batista in the gut and does the PAYDIRT on him! He then goes quickly back to the stands as Haas leaves the other way. Edge then stands up and lifts up Batista to a standing position. Edge then runs up to him and spears him to the floor! Edge then goes for the win.

EDGE STEALS THE WIN AND IS YOUR NEW WWE CHAMPION!

Winner via Pinfall: Edge!

Lillian: Here is your winner and the new WWE CHAMPION, EDGE!

JR: My God, King! Edge steals the win! Batista should be the champion but somehow he is not!

King: Well Batista was right in saying, Edge steals victories and this must be all planned by Rated R Golden!

JR: What a night it has been! Ladies and gentleman, I hope you enjoyed the show like we have! Good night from Dallas, Texas!

Night Of Champions Review

Okay is here we go here comes the review and what a way to kick off the show with the opening video it was a great touch and I quite enjoyed it. It was very clever how you showed old stars and young guns just very well written.

Opening match up for Cruiserweight Title should be good here we go. Great way to start fast and furious action with the cruiserweights all brawling and jumping around and Nunzio starting off like a house on fire with a great Headscissors Takedown. More fast and furious action to come with neither man being able to gain a clear cut advantage and that is exactly how these matches usually are. Super Crazy with an outstanding Cross Body taking out everyone I can just imagine it would have been sick. A corkscrew Frogsplash I am not sure if I have ever seen this but more insaneness from Super Crazy and in my opinion so far he has been the dominate man in this match. Very clever move by Gregory Helms and I could practically imagine the thud of the sweating body of Nunzio hitting the mat. Chavo with his little period of dominance here was good as you are making all men look strong Chavo hits the Frog Splash but it is not going to be over because I can already see the next paragraph. A lot of near falls makes me think we a re getting close to the end but this is like Super Crazy’s third Cross Body in the one match I think he needs to learn a new move LOL. Damn I thought Helms had the big advantage there but two things Nunzio has been incapacitated for like half an hour LOL and I think Hellms is now gone after that dirty move from Neely. I hope not but because I am rooting for Helms to win. SUPER CRAZY for the win was a bit of a shock to be honest which is a good thing great ending with the Moonsault and all that but I think the way you seem to have forgotten about Nuzio clouded the finish a bit for me.

Great little bit of interaction between Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio with Mysterio like usually being insulted because of his size and because he is the under dog and Jericho is the perfect man to do this to him. I really thought this was sensational and I LOL’z at Jericho’s reaching the top locker remark.

Womens Championship I don’t know I hope you write it well because I am not normally into Womens matches and nothing has really happened in this division except the two competitors won the golden stars so no real heat has been built besides the match last week where Beth got a cheap win so this is going to have to be a good match to have me interested. Good start to the match with not much good wrestling mostly just a big braw; and will keep reading but this match does not tickly my fancies. Once again nothing really that I liked and then there was the long submission hold. Mick Kick out of no where was a bit of a thrill and I was hoping it would be over but Beth kicked out and the match continues. Beth got the win when I started reading the last paragraph I thought it was over when you were writing Beth to be invincible then Mickie hit back and I was not sure but Beth got the win in the end. Last paragraph helped the match a lot but I still did not really like it and you have to understand it is not that the writing of the match was bad its just no real story behind it no real heat and you need something to make a womens match entertaining.

Batista his very intense self in a good promo. Then Shelton coming around and trying to be all cocky and stuff and then just shutting up because he got owned. I was thinking maybe Haas was going to ambush him or something but it did not happen obviously.

Cryme Tyme laying down the law there with Henry was good and innovative and I wonder what the faction will be like very interested to find out to be honest.

Well this triple threat tag team match started off much like the cruiserweight match very exciting and very fast pace with Festus dominating early, then Cryme Tyme began to fire only for Fetsus to get up and take out Hawkins. Okay so far this match is pretty much Festus dominating I hope some one takes him out and makes the match a little more even. For a minute here Fetsus and Jesse got taken out and I thought the contest would be between two teams but then before i knew it Festus has control again. LOL I love the way Festus finally got taken out of the equation great thinking by Cryme Tyme. OMG Festus back in control and he has been taking down momentarily but do not think it will last he is going to be the unstoppable monster who just comes up short I think. Once again you think he is down then out of nowhere Festus jumped back up and nailed Shad. Shad looked very good there taking out Festus and this time he shall be gone for good. Shad wins it for his team in what was a great individual effort only outshined by Festus this match was terrific but I preferred the cruiserweight one still.

More little mind games by Cryme Tyme to Mark Henry just makes me think more and more what is going on I like it.

Londricks vs Team Priceless I believe this could be a classic so hopefully it has been given justice. Pretty good tag team match much better than the Divas match it looks as if this is a typical tag team match with one team dominating and the other team struggling. Interested to see what you do with the ending. Good win here by London and Kendrick but I do not know not having a crack at anyone or anything but both Raw matches so far have just been more punches and kicks and not much moves so I don’t know but I really hope that improves for the other higher profile matches.

Great bit of interaction there between Londrick and The Hardy Boyz both teams showing respect for each other as both team are faces and that good be a terrific contest.

Great little start to this triple threat us championship match all men started off kind of well trying to get some kind of offence in. Damn all three of these men are definitely on fire and this match has started off terrifically interested to see how it finishes. Great little interaction here that lead to the Drive By Kick I thought it could not have ended that early so I was not shocked to see Morrison kick Wow Finlay absolutely dominating first with the Celtic Cross and then the Shillelaigh that was awesome. I LOVED IT. Finlay just took MVP to school there that is terrific and he is looking very good at the moment. Finlay with the win he dominated the second half of this match and he deserved it. I also loved all the experience to keep rivalries going and stuff. This is probably match of the night so far for me.

LOL at Nunzio running at Super Crazy and then still getting his ass kicked typical dumbass Nunzio move. And then BAM I marked hard because Grgeory Helms got the last say in this situation.

Good early beginning to the IC Title match with Kennedy starting off like a house on fire but Santino finally gets the advantage which is to be expected. Okay middle part of this match was quite weird to be honest like that bit where Santino’s arms ached and all that stuff and then he could not stand up or something man that confused the shit out of me LOL. I think there has only been three moves use din this whole match not including punches and kicks. This third little paragraph was probably the best part of your work that I have read so far a lot of actual wrestling moves and not just brawling this bit was terrific. Kennedy with the expected win especially after he kicked out of Santino’s finisher I just kind of new Santino had nothing left to offer. Easily the best raw match of the night still trails in comparison to US Title match however.

Okay here we go World Heavyweight Championship Fatal Four Way and this match ahs the potential to be match of the night in my opinion four people who are good to write. Damn Cena started off very dominate throwing JBL around everywhere but JBL is resilient and I LOL’d at Mysterio owning Jericho from under the ring. Cena definitely dominate I loved the FU on Mysterio onto JBL thing. Then typical Jericho from behind with the low blow and tries to get the cheap win good work so far. Another great bit of work here with Rey Rey getting the advantage and then went for West Coast Pop but JBL’s counter was insane and completely unexpected I loved it. Well this new Cena is just amazing he is kicking everybody’s ass but I still believe that the sneaky Jericho is going to find a way to win. Jericho takes care of JBL, Cena takes care of Jericho and then Cena takes care of Mysterio I love Cena’s new attitude. LOL Jericho got wrecked with one punch then Mysterio saves JBL. Cena as a heel is brilliant and the way he countered the West Coast Pop was amazing this was an awesome match really enjoyed it and it seems that this whole match was about Cena.

Good to show Edge tooting his own horn and being confident on his chances and Haas and Benjamin try to make him even more pumped by encouraging him. It was good because it was realistic and because I could picture it happening.

WWE Championship here we go main event time and its going to be great LOL. I should be a commentator but anyway even though no real history been built besides a tournament it should be good anyway because these two men have a history which Edge eluded to backstage so the hatred between the two is still there. Great beginning to the match wit Edge being unable to get the advantage due to Batista’s genuine strength it is very realistic but then Edge hits back with an Edge O Matic and a Bulldog and its been a great up and down contest with no one being able to get a clear cut advantage. The second part of this match was also great with Edge first trying to wear down Batista. Then Batista coming back and using all his power moves to just dominate Edge and just when I thought Batista was about to win then Shelton and Haas come out and Edge is able to steal the win in what was a terrific match.

Just wanted to say this show was really good enjoyed most of it my favorite match was probably the World Heavyweight Championship match. And just to RKO I want to let you know I did not like the first two matches for Raw but I believe that with the last two you really did better. I just thought I would let you know because I did not want you to think I was having a go at you or something. Good luck you guys are both excellent bookers and I will keep in touch with this thread. Good work. REALLY DID LOVE IT.

Thanks for the review, I have not written many long matches before so I still have a lot to improve on them, so I can see why you may not have liked my first two matches.

Anyways, I have started writing raw and I hope it is done within the next week.

Monday Night Raw Preview

Night of Champions had just finished and we got all the champions crowned. Now, this week on raw will be the fallout of NoC.

Will there be any new challengers awaiting the WWE Champion, Edge? Will Batista want revenge from what he lost last night? Will Haas and Benjamin have anything to say about this?

Also, Mr Kennedy will face Kofi Kingston this week on RAW. Will the new IC champion have a fresh fued to fight with Kofi?

Also the new Women's Champion and World Tag Team Champions may have something to do tonight but will they have any rematches from last night or will they also have new things to look forward to.

Will there be any new fueds made?

Find all this out in this week's RAW!

hey RKO sorry i have not replied sooner i have just been very busy. Okay so the preview is nothing special or nothing overly detailed but it serves its purpose and asks all the questions that need to be asked. It has been a while since there has been any posts in this thread so if you are still half way through writing the show an update would be nice or if you have given up let me know via PM because i was just wondering what was going on.

I have been very busy lately but with raw I am halfway through and only really have weekends to write the show. So this weeks half term and I hope to finish writing raw. I haven't given up on this but it's just I have got no time. If it does get too long, I will consider quitting but I hope not.

Just go at your own pace. If you're still enjoying writing and have passion for BTB then quitting isn't an option IMO. Just write when you can and get the show up when it's ready. :-)
