WWE 2008: The Future Today
WWE 2008: The Future Today
Great American Bash 2008 didn't come off to well as a good PPV as people thought that the WWE was too crowded. Vince had tried to fit alot of the roster onto the PPV, and it turned out to be one massive clusterfuck. Vince McMahon addressed this issue and announced on RAW that all three shows would merge into one roster. Vince McMahon mentioned that there are some seventy or more wrestlers in the company, and cuts to the roster would be made.
This left the fans waiting on what was going to happen as ECW and SmackDown! were cancelled for that week. Next week on RAW, the show opened with Vince McMahon, he announced that from that day on, the ECW Championship, the World Tag Team Championships, the World Heavyweight Championship and the United States Championship were all defunct and no longer titles in the WWE. This left us with the WWE Championship, the WWE Tag Championships, the Intercontinental Championship and the Women's Championship.
Vince McMahon went on to announce that he would be bringing back the WWE European Championship and the WWE Hardcore Championship to the show. He said that the Hardcore Championship would come with a 24/7 rule on it, meaning it can change hand at anytime, as long as a referee is there to count a fall. Vince McMahon then announced these six championships would find new champions in a series of tournaments, each taking part on RAW every week.
The next week on RAW started the tournament for the WWE Women's Championship and the WWE Championship. Triple H won the WWE Championship tournament beating John Cena in the finals, and Mickie James won the Women's Championship after beating Melina in the finals. The next week on RAW, the final RAW before SummerSlam, Matt Hardy won the Intercontinental Championship finals and the EdgeHeads won the WWE Tag Team Championships tournament.

Re: WWE 2008: The Future Today
This looks pretty good. I like condensing everything into one roster, and bringing back two vintage titles . I also love when WWE does tournments, so i am definently going to be reading.

Re: WWE 2008: The Future Today
This looks good. I like the graphics. Go ahead and use the WWE.com thing. I don't mind it's not like I came up with it . I like how you have your title history thing. Looks sweet.
