Re: The WWE Chronicles
Rather interesting info there, man. Then again, I'm kinda in the inside, so to speak, so much of this was just a reiteration of things to come. The World Tour is by far the most intriguing aspect of the information, and a Summerslam in London should, no doubt, be one for the books. Not too keen on the MVP/Hardy feud, to be honest. Good thing it's ending at Judgment Day, though. Of course, Backlash is quite predictable, but I'm guessing you'll do something to spice things up... hehe. Stampede Bulldogs fucking rule; place 'em on the Roster already, you... yeah, not 'goin there.
DiBiase brothers... Meh. Ted DiBiase Jr. hasn't impressed me thus far; hopefully you make him more interesting than in RL. William Regal, eh? Interesting. Good stuff there, mang. Backlash should be one hell of a spectacle, that's for sure.

Y2J should never, EVER get pinned by this waste of space.
World Tag Team Championships:
Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes © VS Redneck Wrecking Crew
Because they're an actual team.
One Last Time; Unfinished Business:
CM Punk VS Chavo Guerrero
Big push.

Re: The WWE Chronicles
WWE Championship; Triple Threat Terror:
Randy Orton © VS Triple H VS Shawn Michaels
I think Michaels should go over in this one. It would look good with HBK as WWE Champion one more time. Doing this would make me look forward to a HBK/Orton type feud.
Rated R Superstar Versus Whole Damn Show:
Edge VS Rob Van Dam
Edge, being the heel and sneaky might go over seeing he would want to spoil the return of a popular guy.
WWE Intercontinental Championship; The Long Awaited Rematch:
Chris Jericho © VS Jeff Hardy
It would make sense to take the belt off Jericho, and build him up in the WWE Championship status, while making Jeff look unstoppable.
World Tag Team Championships:
Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes © VS Redneck Wrecking Crew
You know what wouldn't be bad is the RWC taking the belts, rebuilding the tag division, and then Rhodes and Holly get into a grudge.
One Last Time; Unfinished Business:
CM Punk VS Chavo Guerrero
I just see the better man going over in this one.
Shelton Benjamin VS Elijah Burke
I honestly couldn't choose one. Both men should win.
I read your whole thread just for you DC. Good stuff.

Re: The WWE Chronicles
Alright, I missed this out earlier in the News & Notes. Backlash is on track to be posted this week, but will be in RECAP, as will Judgment Day. From there on in, PPV will be in full, or there and there abouts. Thanks very much for the comments/reviews/predictions over the past few weeks. It's great to see people enjoying my work.

I know I'd rather have Shawn Michaels win the match just because it would be different. but I can see Orton picking up the win, especially after he won at Wrestlemania.
Rated R Superstar Versus Whole Damn Show:
Edge VS Rob Van Dam
I dunno, I can see Edge cheating to win somehow.
WWE Intercontinental Championship; The Long Awaited Rematch:
Chris Jericho © VS Jeff Hardy
Well I know for a fact that you HATE Hardy so I see Jericho winning.
World Tag Team Championships:
Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes © VS Redneck Wrecking Crew
If you want to bring Tag Teams back into this centuary then having these win would make the most sense. To me anyway.
One Last Time; Unfinished Business:
CM Punk VS Chavo Guerrero
As legend mentioned, I can see this being the start of a super push for Punk.
Shelton Benjamin VS Elijah Burke
I can't really tell with this one. I'll say Shenlton Benjamin.
I apologise for the lack of reviews and stuff. I've been reading though if that's any consolation Looking forward to Backlash. I really can't wait to see how you produce a recapped PPV. Best of luck Emperor. Great to see a thread of yours get to a PPV.

Re: The WWE Chronicles

WWE Backlash
-A RAW Presentation-
Backlash comes on the air and as per usual, a video starts to air that takes focus of the main feuds heading into the event. The video pays special homage to the WWE Title Triple Threat match, as well as focusing on the match between Chris Jericho and Jeff Hardy for the Intercontinental Title and Edge and Rob Van Dam in the battle of the ‘RAW Returnees’. The video comes to an end with a last line of text that leaves a lasting impression…
‘The Backlash Begins…and ends TONIGHT!!’
Backlash officially comes onto the air and we are greeted by the ever present duo of JR and ‘The King’ Jerry Lawler. JR and King run down the card for the event ahead whilst saying that no one has heard from Cody Rhodes and at the moment, he has not arrived for his part in the scheduled World Tag Team Title match later tonight…
Grudge Match; One Last Time:
CM Punk VS Chavo Guerrero
A nice start to the event with these two men no doubt putting on the best edition of their bitter feud stretching back to the beginning of the year. This seemed to develop into a more brutal contest as time went by, the last few weeks and the various coming togethers just adding to the intensity of both men. Despite various distractions by Kneely and cheating tactics by Guerrero, Punk wasn’t to be denied and prayed on a slight bout of miscommunication between Guerrero and Kneely and when Guerrero turned around, Punk kicked him in the side of the head, knocking Guerrero out cold and was even able to smile and pose to the crowd before covering and getting the pinfall victory!!
Winner – CM Punk @ 8:09
Punk celebrated after the match with the body of Guerrero lay beside him and Kneely down and out at ringside. Punk was obviously ecstatic as he made his PPV debut as a RAW Superstar, putting on a sensational performance and proving once and for all that he was indeed BETTER than Chavo Guerrero, at least on this fateful night…
***
The camera switches backstage where Kristal Marshall is situated, making her debut as a RAW Interviewer. She lets people know that she will be there ready and waiting for when the WWE Champion, Randy Orton arrived. JR and King make note that being late is not the best preparation for the Champion to have, especially whilst facing two of the very best the WWE has to offer, in the same match no less…
***
The camera switches to the dressing room where an eager and intense looking Jeff Hardy is stretching. The crowd goes wild immediately for the most popular man in the WWE. JR says that this night has been months in the making and it is time for Hardy to prove his metal and back up his words in a pressure situation.
***
Grudge Match:
Shelton Benjamin VS Elijah Burke
This match was all it was anticipated to be, and much more, including more of a personal edge after recent happenings. The two put on a battle of athleticism and great technique, displaying exactly why they are seen as two of the brightest stars in the company. The ‘moment of the match’ came half way through when Benjamin jumped to the top rope grabbed Burke who was already up there and hit an Arm Drag of all things from the top rope!! It was clear at this point that Benjamin was firmly back in the fans good books…
It’s around 8 minutes in where the action really starts to hot up and intensify. Both men exchange blows, dead centre in the middle of the ring. Benjamin was the first to duck out of the exchange and landed consecutive right hands on Burke when he turned around, backing him into the ropes in the process. Benjamin launched at Burke, looking for the Superkick…only for Burke to move! Benjamin’s leg is wrapped up over the ropes in a rather uncomfortable position. Benjamin moves around to the back of Benjamin turns him around and whips him into the opposite corner of the ring. Benjamin crashes as Burke runs like a train at him, going for the Stinger Splash…only to connect with the turnbuckle only, much to the crowds delight!!
Benjamin moves around to the centre of the ring as Burke stumbles around…Benjamin levels him with the Samoan Drop!! Benjamin claps his hands, and the crowd do too as he moves back and stalks Burke, looking ready to end things right here. Burke starts to get up and stumble around. Burke sees Benjamin coming and moves out of the way!! Benjamin stops just short of the ring pole but when he turns around, Elijah Burke deals Benjamin an Enzuigiri!! Benjamin falls to the ringmat as Burke makes the cove: 1 … 2 kick out by Benjamin!! Benjamin kicked out at the near fall, much to the disgust of Burke.
Burke gets to his feet and drags Benjamin up too. Burke screams into the face of his old partner before launching at him with a clothesline…only for Benjamin to duck and Burke to nail the referee! The referee goes down, but this just produces a smile as Burke this time stalks Benjamin, looking to take advantage, by hook or by crook.
This idea is scrapped soon enough though when Charlie Haas rushes the ring, with tapped up ribs and also a Steel Chair in hand, looking for revenge. Burke has no idea Haas is behind him until he slowly turns around. Haas gives Burke a smile and swings the chair…Burke ducks and it connects HARD with the head of his partner, Benjamin!! The referee comes too, sees the contact and calls for the bell before collapsing in a heap on the ringmat!!
Winner – Shelton Benjamin by DQ @ 11:33
The bell tolled and immediately, Burke rolled out of the ring and out of dodge. Haas swung the steel chair, only connecting with the ropes. He then dropped the chair and tended to his good pal who was knocked out cold. Medical personnel rushed to the ring. As they tended to Benjamin, Haas looked on, with Burke making his way up the ramp a mixture of relief but annoyance at Haas coming at him like that. There seems to be distinct concern for Benjamin already as he doesn’t even come too for a good few minutes after the shot first rebounded from his skull…
***
We see a scene from the parking garage where Randy Orton is still yet to arrive. JR and King wonder what Orton could be up to taking such an enormous risk at such a pressure point in his WWE year, and also his entire WWE career.
***
Elsewhere backstage, Shawn Michaels is stood by with Todd Grisham. Grisham asks Michaels whether he has the stamina to last with Triple H and also Randy Orton. Michaels tells Grisham that he has spent 20 years being the very best, and trying to beat the very best, and that won’t suddenly end here tonight. Michaels promised that whether he had to die trying, he would put it all out there in an attempt to regain what he loved, the WWE Championship…
***
Hardcore Holly appeared alone from the back as it seemed Rhodes had not shown and Holly would need to do the work of two men under Handicap conditions…
World Tag Team Championships:
Hardcore Holly © VS Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch
It didn’t come as a big surprise that Holly struggled throughout the match. Cade and Murdoch were a handful enough when it was level pegging, but with no one to tag out to, Cade and Murdoch methodically picked Holly apart, biding their time…
Cade and Murdoch took their time until they were ready to end it all. Murdoch came into the ring as the illegal man. Cade set Holly up as it looked like they were going for the Sweet ‘N Sour, however, they were interrupted by the site of none other than Cody Rhodes running to the ring! Rhodes was on fire as he went at Murdoch and Cade with punch after punch before clotheslining Murdoch over the top ropes and to the arena floor. Rhodes then grabbed onto the ropes and launched his body over them and on top of Murdoch on the arena floor! Inside the ring, Cade looks on as his partner is dealt a blow. It was then that he looked around…only to get a kick in the stomach, lifted high into the air, and leveled with the Alabama Slam!! The crowd goes wild as Holly lays a solitary hand over the broken body of Cade: 1 … 2 … 3!
Winners & STILL World Tag Team Champions – Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes @ 9:41
The bell tolls as Rhodes grabs the tag team titles and rolls into the ring. The crowd is still in shock as to his intentions of not turning up, and then suddenly appearing just when Holly needed him most. Holly also looks like he wants question answered as he gives a hard stare to the man that had left him for the second consecutive show running. Rhodes just just hands him his title before leaving the ring with his own, walking up to the ramp. Rhodes stops and nods his head as Holly looks on, unsure of what to make of his young protégée, his attitude and demeanor changing by the night…
***
The scene goes backstage where CM Punk is in the Trainer’s Room getting tended to, with his Briefcase layed beside him. Punk soon looks up as the door slams open and in comes the newest addition to the RAW roster, Boris Alexiev. Punk asks Alexiev what he wants, but the Russian Warfare Machine doesn’t respond, instead, he just looks at the Briefcase with a monstrous, cold stare. Punk grabs the briefcase and stares back at Alexiev. Alexiev himself just smiles before turning around and walking out. Punk looks at unease with the Russian’s intentions, whatever they may be…
***
The camera goes backstage where Shelton Benjamin is being helped out to a waiting Ambulance. Charlie Haas is there and waves Benjamin off who looks dazed and confused. Haas looks scared for his pal and walks off, looking in a bad mood to say the least…
As the ambulance drives out of the garage, it masks the fact that a white stretch limo has just driven in to the Garage. The limo parks up and Kristal seems it and rushes to the door which opens to show none other than Randy Orton getting out! Orton kisses the two girls with him and tells them to keep the champagne ‘on ice’. Kristal asks the WWE Champion whether he has underestimated Triple H and Shawn Michaels by arriving so late. Orton just shrugs off the comments and says he doesn’t need to prepare, he is a living legacy, he is a LEGEND and he is, and still will be WWE Champion by the end of the night. Orton walks into the building with the words of authority ringing true to all those watching.
***
Battle of the RAW Returnees:
Edge VS Rob Van Dam
As expected, this was a good battle of two men looking to establish themselves back on the RAW brand after time away. Edge seemed in confident mood as he prayed on his experience, knowhow and active wrestling experience over the past few months, compared to RVD who had been out of the game and out of the ring up until just weeks ago.
Edge ducks an attempted shot from RVD and takes him down with a clothesline before climbing high in uncharted territory in the corner of the ring. RVD gets up, stumbles around and Edge flies through the air. Edge stops short in front of RVD who was expecting impact…only for Edge to deck him with a slap to the face!! The crowd ‘oooh’ as RVD rocks backwards towards the corner of the ring. Edge stands back and crouch, looking to ready to end it right here. RVD eventually stumbles around, only to see Edge launching at him…RVD MOVES!
Edge nearly collides with the turnbuckle but managed to halt his momentum just at the last second. Edge turns around and RVD sweeps at the legs of Edge, making the Rated R Superstar fall face first to the mat!! RVD smiles before jumping up to the top ropes. RVD gets set and ready as Edge turns onto his back. He opens his eyes and before impact, Edge manages to roll out of the way and RVD collides with only the ringmat!! Edge slowly gets to his feet, with RVD doing the same, holding his gut, obviously in considerably more pain than Edge.
Both men face eachother and Edie is the first to make a move as he runs at RVD looking for the Spear…only for RVD to trip him up with a drop toehold. Edge drops to the mat face first as RVD rebounds off of the ropes and nails the Rolling Thunder!! RVD once again gets the idea in his head and jumps to the top ropes. Edge though gets to his feet quickly this time and shows his considerable strength as he grabs Van Dam and lifts him over his head and flings him across the ring!! Edge bounces back into the corner of the ring; such was the strength it took to pull off the manevour. The crowd goes wild, shouting and screaming as they try and alert RVD as to the position Edge has taken, crouched in the corner of the ring…
RVD starts to get to his feet. Edge moves forward and as RVD starts to stumble around, Edge launches at RVD…who moves once again!! Edge collides with the ring pole this time and rebounds back towards the centre of the ring!! RVD flips him around and goes for a kick…only for Edge to duck behind RVD. RVD turns around and just like that, Edge kicks him in the gut, lifts him into the air and brings RVD crashing back down to earth with a bang, thanks to the Edgecution!! The crowds spirits falls dramatically in level as Edge holds his shoulder and crawls over RVD and hooks his leg, just to make extra sure: 1 … 2 … 3!!!
Winner - ‘Rated R Superstar’ Edge @ 19:21
The bell tolls and the crowd rise to their feet, giving their due to both men for the effort they have put in, even the massively hated figure of Edge. Edge rolls away from RVD and crawls to the corner of the ring, holding his hands up whilst stroking his hair and holding his shoulder, knowing he came mightily close to being brought down to earth by the high flying Icon. RVD lay’s down and out as Edge starts to roll out of the ring, the battle obviously going to be something Edge will struggle to get over…
***
The camera returns backstage where Chris Jericho is stood by alongside Maria. Jericho makes his intensity for tonight clear saying that Hardy made a mistake when he came back with the sole aim of gaining revenge, because he wasn’t going to get it. Jericho promised the legions of Jericholics that they wouldn’t be witnessing the last title defense of the ‘Sexy Beast’ Instead, Jericho proclaimed this as only just the beginning and stated that once he was down with ‘Mr. Legend Thrilla~!’, he was going to well and truly cement his place in history as the most successful and decorated WWE Champion in history.
***
Elsewhere backstage, Todd Grisham caught up with William Regal. Grisham asked Regal what he was doing in the arena when he didn’t have a scheduled match. Scoffing at the remarks, Regal just let Grisham know that he was there to rekindle his friendship with a long-time friend. Regal said that this man had truly been underutilized and that this coming Monday, he was bringing him to Monday Night RAW where he would thrive and prosper. With that, Regal walked away from Grisham, leaving him and everyone else with more questions than answers.
***
WWE Intercontinental Championship; The Long Awaited Match:
Chris Jericho © VS Jeff Hardy
As expected, this was a match…and a half. It started off entertaining as hell with the first 5 minutes or so being high paced and action packed, fitting into the style of Hardy. Jericho though did take a grip on the match after that and started to bring Hardy back down to earth, quite literally as he started to impose his technical prowess on Hardy, working in particular on what is Hardy’s base and foundation for his work; his legs and lower body…
As Hardy lay on the mat, Jericho runs to the ropes, jumps up and goes for the Lionsault…only for Hardy to move. Jericho though saw it coming and as Hardy gets to his feet, Jericho swipes his legs from under him, trying to lock in the Walls of Jericho!! The crowd gets behind Hardy as he tries to reverse the attempted manevour. He eventually manages to get out of the move and drags Jericho down by his feet and pinning them to the ground: 1 … Jericho manages to get out!! Both men get to their feet. Jericho swings ferociously, but Hardy ducks and goes behind Jericho…Jericho catches the incoming leg of Hardy, but Hardy levels Y2J with a spinning kick to the face! Jericho is down and out with Hardy pumped up, aided by the crowd.
Jericho gets to his feet and stumbles around, only for Hardy to launch at Y2J with a forearm smash!! Jericho stumbles back into the ropes and comes back, ducking Hardy. Hardy looks around and Jericho goes for the Codebreaker…only for Hardy to catch Jericho!! Hardy throws Jericho away and he crashes to the mat!! Hardy runs and jumps over Jericho and jumps to the top rope. Hardy steadies himself before flipping off and going for an uncharacteristic Moonsault…only for Jericho to get his knees up and drive them into Hardy’s midsection!! Hardy rebounds back into the corner of the ring as Jericho catches his breath in the brief intermission.
Jericho does just this and seeing Hardy labored in the corner of the ring, Jericho drives his shoulder into the gut of Hardy! Taking advantage of his mid-section, Jericho continues the assault, one shoulder barge after another. Jericho walks back and plays to the crowd before coming back at Hardy for one more…only for Hardy to kick a ducked Jericho right in the face! Jericho’s head flays back up and Hardy grabs his head and goes for the Twist of Fate…only for Jericho to push him off into the ropes. Hardy comes back and ducks Jericho. Jericho looks around…dropkick connects!! The crowd goes wild as Hardy jumps to the top rope. Jericho though gets straight to his feet, and swipes Hardy’s legs away, 6 feet in the air!! Hardy crashed head first to the turnbuckle and then down to the ring, the crowd obviously concerned for his well being.
Jericho takes full advantage as he grabs the legs of Hardy, turns him over…AND LOCKS IN THE WALLS OF JERICHO!! The crowd starts to clap their hands but it’s clear that Hardy is fading and fast after his terrible fall. Jericho sits on the back of Hardy as he torques even more. Hardy is in considerable pain and after trying to fight out of the Walls one last time; he has no choice and taps out!!!
Winner & STILL Intercontinental Champion – ‘Y2J’ Chris Jericho @ 20:55
The bell tolls and Jericho gets to his feet. Jericho grabs his title from the referee and clutches it tight after a mightily impressive victory. Hardy is down and out in the corner of the ring as Jericho looks on, a glint in his eye, but respect shining through for the battle the two had just been involved in. Hardy briefly looks on and Jericho just nods before leaving the ring, slapping hands with the fans on the way up the ramp and still clutching his gold tightly.

An advertisement for the next RAW branded Pay per View; Vengeance airs. The event is slated as taking place in 6 weeks time, Live and Exclusive from San Diego; California. The supposed tag line of the event is revealed in the last line of the promotional video by the Narrator. ‘Vengeance & Redemption will be dealt!’
***
The camera goes backstage. Triple H is in his locker room. As he finishes lacing his boots, Hunter looks up to the incoming camera lense with the same authority he has shown in recent weeks. Hunter promises that tonight, he will go into the ring and DIE trying to regain what he feels is his. He said it had been too long since he had been the Champion, and the King of Kings. No Mercy was only a stopgap and made him want his title back even more. Tonight, the King went back on his throne!!
***
WWE Championship; Triple Threat Terror:
Randy Orton © VS Shawn Michaels VS Triple H
As expected, this was right up there as Match of the Night, probably THE match of the night too. More of a methodical match, each man had reigns in the match where they put the other men to shame, prying on a specific area of their opposition. It was quite clear that despite their friendship, Triple H and Randy Orton knew that teaming together on Michael’s knees and backs would benefit both of them in the long-run. This wasn’t about friendship, that much was clear. There was a lot of history between various duos in this match, and it showed.
Orton stalks Triple H as he gets to his feet. Hunter gets up and ducks an attempted shot from Orton. Orton looks around and grabs Hunter by the hair, only for Triple H to battle for his title life with shoulders to the mid-section. Orton eventually relinquishes the hold and backs away from Hunter. Triple H comes at Orton, who rolls out of the way. Hunter follows through and crashes into Michaels who was just getting up onto the ring apron!! Michaels falls to the arena floor, knee first. Michaels looks in considerable pain and straight away screams in agony and calls for help.
Hunter, although his intensity, looks phased as his friend received treatment. He turns around…only for Orton to come at him looking for the RKO…Hunter battles though and he throws Orton away onto the ringmat!! Orton crashes hard and comes back up with the impact, only for Triple H to run at him and nail the self proclaimed ‘Legend’ with a high knee to the face!! Orton drops to his back as Hunter looks at Michaels who is still being helped. Triple H turns his attention towards Orton and knows with Michaels out of the picture, his chances have never looked better. Hunter parades around the ring and gets to Orton, trying to delve some kicks into his stomach. However, Orton uses underhand tactics and pulls the referee between himself and his former mentor. Hunter is forced to stop and back off at the referees command. Orton smiles before getting to his feet and on the blind spot of Triple H and rakes him in the eye. Orton goes on an assault as he repeatedly kicks away at the knee of the ‘King of Kings’…
Orton circles Triple H like a hawk, centering his attack on the knee of Hunter as he continues to batter it. The methodical approach Orton is taking is clear and a tactic he used earlier in the match, cleverly choosing to come back to it now. After Orton is done, he kneels in the corner of the ring. As Hunter grabs his knee, Orton preys on The Game. Orton circles Triple H and as Hunter gets to his feet, Orton launches at Triple H…only for Hunter to stick his leg out and trip Orton up at the last minute!! The crowd goes wild as Hunter gets to his feet, stumbling around with his leg obviously still hindering him. Orton gets to his feet too as the two men come face to face. Orton tries to kick Triple H in the injured knee, however, Triple H catches his leg and nails him with a Dragon Whip. Hunter slides around to the head of Orton and hits him with some punches to the head. However, Orton catches him with a rake to the eye. Orton crawls away towards the corner of the ring in an obvious attempt to catch his breath and stop the onsault.
Hunter is undeterred and comes towards Orton. Orton though jumps or the RKO…Triple H just pushes him into the corner of the ring at the last moment!! Triple H attempts to take it to Orton…only for Shawn Michaels to pull Orton down and pull him into the ring-pole!! Orton is hurt where the sun doesn’t shine, and the crowd are going wild as Michaels re-enters the match, himself still hobbling after the earlier assault. Michaels enters the ring and seems more intense and frustrated than ever. He and Hunter embark on a face down, before both launch into action and go punch for punch!! The action is intense as Michaels ducks one of Hunters shots. Triple H looks around…Michaels goes for the Sweet Chin Music…Hunter catches him between the legs just at the last moment!! The crowd is wildly anticipating things as Triple H hooks the arms of Michaels…Michaels though reverses and tries to level Hunter with a big back bodydrop…however he lands on his feet!! Michaels looks around and before he can react, Triple H once again hooks his arms and this time devastates Michaels with the Pedigree!! Hunter catches his breath…only for Randy Orton to come out of nowhere and kick Triple H right, dead square in the head!! RANDY ORTON HAS DONE IT FOR THE SECOND PAY PER VIEW RUNNING!!!!!!!!! The crowd are hysterical in boos as Orton drops onto a down and out Michaels: 1 … 2 … 3!!!!!!!!!!!!
Winner & STILL WWE Champion – Randy Orton @ 27:21
HE HAS DONE IT AGAIN!! Boos continue to reign out around the arena. The Baltimore crowd can’t believe what has happened. Orton rolls off of Michaels, and kicks him out of the ring. The referee raises Orton’s hand who snatches the WWE Title away from him. Orton looks at the title and with a manic look in his eye, smiles widely, obviously his plan having been set in motion and conjured up once again. Orton raises the WWE Title into the air as Hunter is still down and out in the corner of the ring. Orton surveyed the damage before putting his title over his shoulder and exiting the ring.
Hunter comes too as he crawls towards the ropes nearest the stage, but just misses out on Orton who backs up the ramp. Raising the WWE Title into the air, the seething anger can be felt deep within Triple H, being forced to the service by an old trick, rekindled here tonight. Triple H has been denied once again by a man he has taught the trade to, and he is not happy. Orton reaches the top of the ramp and raises the WWE Title high again in his customary stance. He and Triple H engage in a fierce stare down, with Hunter seething at the mouth, looking like the WWE Title is the last thing on his mind, retribution however seems to be an aspect that may prove pivotal in weeks to come, and so, with that though lingering, Backlash goes off the air…
