WWE SmackDown | Preview
Friday 16th May, 2008

Kansas Coliseum
Wichita, Kansas

Just 48 hours remain until Judgment Day, and the final SmackDown before the historical Pay-Per-View takes place in Wichita, Kansas. Will more be revealed in regards to Judgment Day in the Kansas Coliseum, tonight on SmackDown?

RATED-R SUPERSTAR ON THE LOSING SIDE
Last week's SmackDown Main Event saw, quite possibly, the biggest Main Event in SmackDown history, as The Big Show and The Undertaker alligned with the WWE Champion, Triple H, to defeat Edge, Randy Orton and John "Bradshaw" Layfield, in a match which saw three Raw Superstars invade the Blue Brand's headlining match. Edge thought he had it in the bag when he chose Randy Orton and JBL, but the Rated-R Superstar was proved unsuccessful in his attempt to get one over his rivals going into Judgment Day. The Undertaker and The Big Show shouldn't get too comfortable with eachother, because at Judgment Day in a mere 48 hours, it will be every man for himself, but if Undertaker and Big Show shall allign to take Edge out of the equation at Judgment Day, then they will. Vickie Guerrero announced the Main Event for Judgment Day last week, Undertaker defending the World Heavyweight Championship against The Big Show and Edge in a Triple-Threat Match, and some would be pleasantly surprised at this decision, as Vickie Guerrero, on more than one occasion, has favoured her fiancé, Edge, in her match-making. This is the three competitors' last chance to gain some momentum going into Judgment Day, so they will certainly be at eachother's throats tonight.

THE ANIMAL CRASHES THE PARTY
Shawn Michaels signed a contract to become an official SmackDown Superstar for the first time last week in an event highly-anticipated by many. Something the WWE fans had not been anticipating was Batista crashing the party, and sending Shawn Michaels crashing through a table with a Batista bomb. Shawn Michaels makes his SmackDown debut tonight, as Michaels takes on Chuck Palumbo, and the Heart-Break Kid will be hoping that Batista stays out of Shawn Michaels' sights, after last week's assault. Batista says that sooner or later, Shawn Michaels will pack his bags and head back to Raw, and if The Animal wants to ensure that fact, then Batista will not get a better oppurtunity to do so than this Sunday at Judgment Day, where Batista and Shawn Michaels will do battle in a sure-to-be-brutal Last Man Standing match. Both are intent on anialating one another, and Michaels and Batista have proven in the past that they are more than capable of doing so.

HARDY'S TOUGHEST TEST YET
Earlier this week, it was announced that Matt Hardy would defend the United States Championship at Judgment Day against Kane, Chavo Guerrero and Montel Vontavious Porter in a Fatal Four-Way Match. These four were competing against eachother last week in Tag Team action, which saw Matt Hardy team with Kane to defeat Chavo Guerrero and MVP, and Guerrero and MVP will be looking for redemption this week. It has not been announced yet that any of these competitors will do battle, but none of these competitors will possibly stay away from eachother. MVP will be absent this week, as the Ballin' Superstar is in Hollywood, which leaves Matt Hardy, Chavo Guerrero and Kane to keep the fire burning in their rivalry.

MIZ & MORRISON STAND TALL
Last week on SmackDown, The Miz and John Morrison fended off the challenge of the Rated-R Entourage, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, to remain as WWE Tag Team Champions. It would appear that Miz and Morrison have beaten all that there is to beat on SmackDown, so will the Champs face any new challenges? The Father-and-Son pairing, Finlay and Hornswoggle, could be potential challengers, and Finlay faces John Morrison tonight in singles competiton. Will Finlay and his son be looking to get any kind of point across to John Morrison and The Miz?

SCHEDULED FOR SMACKDOWN

John Morrison
vs
Finlay

Shawn Michaels
vs
Chuck Palumbo

Friday 16th May, 2008

Kansas Coliseum
Wichita, Kansas

"Rise Up"

The SmackDown Opening Video Package plays, and the pyrotechnics explode recurrently from the HD Set, as the camera pans the Kansas Coliseum, before crossing over to Michael Cole and Mick Foley at ringside.

Michael Cole: We are here in Wichita, Kansas tonight, for another edition of Friday Night SmackDown! We are just 48 hours away from Judgment Day this Sunday, Michael Cole and Mick Foley on commentary, and last week, it was announced that The Undertaker will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against The Big Show and Edge at Judgment Day!

Mick Foley:
A lot of people have been sceptical of SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero recently, but Vickie has made a blockbuster Main Event for Judgment Day! Any one of The Undertaker, The Big Show or Edge could walk out of Omaha, Nebraska this Sunday as World Heavyweight Champion!

Michael Cole:
Theodore Long is standing in the ring as we speak, let's see what the SmackDown Assistant General Manager has to say.

The camera switches to the ring, where the SmackDown Assistant General Manager, Theodore Long, is standing with a microphone in hand.

Theodore Long: I have been ordered by the SmackDown General Manager, Vickie Guerrero, to announce the following news regarding tonight and Judgment Day, which takes place this Sunday. Tonight's main event will see The Big Show teaming with The Undertaker, to take on Edge, Chavo Guerrero, Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder and Chavo Guerrero!

Major heat at announcement of tonight's Main Event.

Theodore Long: Also, Judgment Day's Main Event, which will see The Undertaker defend the World Heavyweight Championship against The Big Show and Edge, will not only be a Triple-Threat match, but it will be a Triple-Threat Elimination match!

Un-significant pop at the adjustment to the Judgment Day Main Event.

Theodore Long: Now, that is-

"Metalingus"

The Rated-R Superstar, Edge, emerges from a smoke pyro, with La Familia in tow. Edge leads La Familia toward the ring, as The Ultimate Oppurtunist is continously blasted with major heat.

Edge: Woah, hold it there, Teddy. Thank you for those announcements, but there's still some important news that the audience need to be notified of.

Edge hands Theodore Long a piece of paper, and the SmackDown Assistant General Manager reacts in a confused manner.

Theodore Long: Alright then, Edge, if you insist. At Judgment Day......Edge will be your hero, and become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Massive heat is directed at a buoyant Edge.

Theodore Long: But, Edge, this is really isn't neccessary, and the match hasn't even-

Edge:
People, that right there will be the main talking point once Judgment Day has come and gone. The name that will be on everybody's lips will be......Edge, and quite frankly, it's inevitable that I will regain my World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday.

Vickie Guerrero:
Now, can everybody please put your hands together and show your respect for my fiancé, with a minute's applause.

Only La Familia are applauding Edge, the audience let their "respect" for Edge be heard, directing tons of heat at The Rated-R Superstar.

Edge: Thankyou everybody, you're far too kind. Now,

"Crank It Up"

The Wichita audience rise to their feet and go wild for The Big Show, as The World's Largest Athlete approaches the ring, and Edge backs into the corner of the ring.

The Big Show: I'm sorry to interrupt your perdurable "victory speech", Edge, but, quite frankly, I think it's neccessary that I put a stop to this.

Pop for The Big Show.

The Big Show: Edge, it seems to me like you don't know who you're going to be stepping into the ring with this Sunday, so let me remind you. Edge, you're going to be stepping into the ring with The World's Largest Athlete, which is me, and the World Heavyweight Champion, which is The Undertaker. Let me ask you this question, Edge - What are you?

Edge looks surprised.

Edge: What kind of a question is that, Big Show? I'm the Ultimate Oppurunist, I'm the Rated-R Superstar, I'm soon to be a 5-time World Champion, and you, Big Show, are 450 lbs of worthless crap.

The Big Show smirks, and drops his microphone, as Edge backs away. The Big Show charges at Edge, but The Rated-R Superstar quickly gets out of the ring, and rushes up the rampway. The Big Show suddenly grabs Chavo Guerrero by the throat, and then Bam Neely, and nails Guerrero and Neely with a double-chokeslam! The Big Show then grabs Curt Hawkins, throwing the Edge-Head out of the ring, and Zack Ryder gets the same treatment. The Big Show is now alone with Vickie Guerrero.

The Big Show: Vickie, you have no idea of the motives behind what I'm about to do.

The Big Show grabs Vickie Guerrero by the throat, and pulls the SmackDown General Manager out of her wheelchair. Suddenly, Edge re-enters the ring and lays out The Big Show with a spear!

"Metalingus"

Edge and Vickie Guerrero quickly leave the Kansas Coliseum, holding hands, to major heat from the audience.

The arrogant Kenny Dykstra has his hand raised by referee Mike Posey, and Kenny Dykstra celebrates his victory, to a mixed response.

Michael Cole: I don't approve of Kenny Dykstra's attitude, but I have to admit, that kid is one hell of an athlete!

Mick Foley:
Kenny Dykstra put on a great performance tonight, and Jamie Noble was no match for Dykstra tonight, Michael, Kenny Dykstra has a very bright future ahead of him, and I would love to see Kenny fulfill his potential right here on SmackDown!

The camera cuts backstage, where the camera is set in Vickie Guerrero's office. Vickie Guerrero is sitting on a chair, being comforted by Edge.

Edge: Don't worry, baby, everything is going to be OK, so just calm down. I'm gonna get The Big Show later tonight, don't worry.

Vickie Guerrero:
I'm gonna punish The Big Show, and I know exactly how I can. If, or should I say when, The Big Show and The Undertaker lose tonight, then The Big Show will be removed from the Main Event at Judgment Day!

Major heat at Vickie Guerrero's announcement.

Edge: That is just great, I couldn't have made a better decision. What would I do without you, Vickie?

Vickie Guerrero:
I don't know, baby, but you won't ever find out.

Edge lets out a beaming smirk, and goes in to make out with the SmackDown General Manager, but Theodore Long enters the room, to many viewer's relief.

Theodore Long: Excuse me, but there's somebody here who would like to see you, Vickie.

Vickie Guerrero:
Who is it, Teddy?

Theodore Long turns his head to the door, and the WWE's CEO, Linda McMahon, walks into the room, getting a pop, as Vickie Guerrero looks on in disbelief.

Linda McMahon: Good evening, Vickie Guerrero, I'm here on behalf of the Board Of Directors, to talk to you about your position as General Manager of Friday Night SmackDown. You see, the majority of your decisions have come under intense scrutiny with the Board Of Directors, so they've given you a stay of execution. The next time you make a decision which significantly in somebody's favour, escpecially your fiancé Edge, you will be removed from your position as SmackDown General Manager.

Big pop, these Wichita fans want Vickie Guerrero gone.

Vickie Guerrero: Look, I really think this is un-neccessary, I think I've done a great job as SmackDown General Manager, and I'm sure everybody would agree with that. Every decision I make, is in the best interest of the entire SmackDown roster, so-

Linda McMahon:
Well, I'm certain that The Big Show wouldn't agree with that, which is why I am going to announce myself as the Head Of SmackDown, which means I can over-rule any decision you make. So, things around here on SmackDown are going to be a lot more controlled from this point onwards. And, I am starting tonight. Tonight's Main Event will be The Undertaker and The Big Show......going one-on-one, with Edge as the Special Guest Referee!

Huge pop, as Linda McMahon walks out of the room, leaving a livid Vickie Guerrero and Edge looking on, while SmackDown Assistant General Manager Theodore Long is ecstatic.

~COMMERCIAL BREAK~

Michael Cole:
What an announcement coming from CEO Linda McMahon before the commercial break, Vickie Guerrero will be fired the next time she makes a biased decision, and Linda will be the new "Head of SmackDown!"

Mick Foley:
I believe Vickie Guerrero makes a lot of good decisions, but Linda McMahon, and the Board Of Directors, have made a great call! McMahon as Head of SmackDown is a great move, and SmackDown is going to get a whole lot better!

Michael Cole:
But what about this, The Undertaker and The Big Show going one-on-one, with Edge as the Special Guest Referee! What a Main Event!

Mick Foley:
Absolutely, Michael, these Wichita fans would want to see that match a lot more than a 6-on-2 Tag Team Match!

Matt Striker: Finlay, believe me, I've been watching you for a while now, and I've seen you steamroll over opponent after opponent after opponent. Now, you've been climbing up the ranks here on Friday Night SmackDown, but your surge is going to crash and burn at the hands of my associate, Big......Daddy......V!

Finlay looks around the arena, and tells Hornswoggle to retreat under the ring. Suddenly, Big Daddy V climbs over the security wall, and enters the ring, without Finlay's knowledge. Finlay turns around, only to be laid out with a samoan drop by Big Daddy V! Matt Striker joins his associate in the ring, as Matt Striker and Big Daddy V stand cunningly over Finlay to tons of heat.

Michael Cole: My word, what an impact Big Daddy V has made one hell of an impact here tonight, and Finlay has a turbulent future ahead of him, as long as Big Daddy V stands in The Fighting Irishman's way!

Mick Foley:
Matt Striker was right, Finlay's surge is going to crash and burn, because I don't know who can stop Big Daddy V!

Michael Cole:
But now, let's join Eve Torres backstage who is standing by, over to you, Eve!

The camera switches backstage, where Eve Torres is standing by.

Eve Torres: Thank you, Michael, and ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, the WWE United States Champion......Matt Hardy!

The United States Champion, Matt Hardy, walks into the camera, getting a great reaction, with the United States Championship draped over Matt Hardy's shoulder.

Eve Torres: Matt Hardy, last week you and Kane defeated M.V.P and Chavo Guerrero on SmackDown. Earlier this week, in a WWE Mobile Alert, we found out that you would be defending your United States Championship against Kane, M.V.P and Chavo Guerrero. Your thoughts?

Matt Hardy:
Well, Eve, it's not exactly my ideal way of spending Sunday night, but I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am a fighting Champion, and I'm gonna back that up at Judgment Day. I've got a score to settle with M.V.P, and my business is gonna be taken care of this Sunday. As for Chavo Guerrero and Kane, they've only just came into the picture, but their fate's gonna be the same.

Eve Torres:
Matt, do you consider yourself the favorite going into this Fatal Four-Way match at Judgment Day?

Matt Hardy:
Eve, I'm not the kind of guy to be too self-confident going into a match of this magnitude, but yeah, I do consider myself to be the favorite. Look, the fact of the matter is, I'm walking in to Judgment Day as the United States Champion, and I'm walking out of Judgment Day as the United States Champion.

Matt Hardy smiles at Eve Torres, who smiles back, and walks out of the picture to a pop, as the screen fades.

A Judgment Day advertisement enters the screen.

Narrator: When you accomplish such a feat, there is no turning back. No time to regret, no time to ponder. But an immortal shall fight on and persevere to cement their legacy, letting the past be the past, and continuing until incapable. The hunter is now the hunted, and for the target......There shall be double-trouble. For the King Of Kings, this is his kingdom to command, and shall anialate all who dare impose war. World Wrestling Entertainment presents Judgment Day, on May 18th, in HD. In anarchy we trust.

Michael Cole:
Judgment Day is just 48 hours away, and let's take you through what we can see this Sunday!

UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP

Matt Hardy
vs M.V.P vs Chavo Guerrero vs Kane

Michael Cole:
Matt Hardy defends the United States Championship against Kane, Chavo Guerrero and M.V.P this Sunday at Judgment Day, and I hope that Hardy didn't get too comfortable with The Big Red Machine last week, when they defeated M.V.P and Guerrero in Tag Team action!

Mick Foley:
Nobody can be comfortable with Kane, and everybody knows that Kane and Matt Hardy have had their problems in the past, which is something the former ECW Champion certainly will not forget!

WOMENS' CHAMPIONSHIP

Mickie James (c)
vs Beth Phoenix

Michael Cole:
These two competitors are more than just Divas, they are serious about this, and the Womens' Championship will be at stake!

Mick Foley:
Mickie James has not been Womens' Champion for a long time, and her reign could come crashing to an end, at the hands of The Glamazon, this Sunday!

Mr. Kennedy
vs John "Bradshaw" Layfield

Michael Cole:
JBL, my former broadcast colleague, steps in to the ring with Mr. Kennedy......Kennedy, this Sunday at Judgment Day, and Mr. Kennedy has really pushed JBL to the limit!

Mick Foley:
Yeah, and I think that's what Mr. Kennedy has intended to do. JBL has been building up his frustrations over the past months, and everything will be let out of JBL's system at Judgment Day!

LAST MAN STANDING

Shawn Michaels
vs Batista

Michael Cole:
Things between Shawn Michaels and Batista are, without a doubt, beyond personal right now, and it will culminate at Judgment Day, in a fitting manner - A Last Man Standing match!

Mick Foley:
Batista wants Shawn Michaels gone, and The Animal can surely contribute to HBK making up his mind about where he wants to be! This is gonna be physical, Michael!

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP | JOHN CENA SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE

Triple H (c)
vs Randy Orton vs Chris Jericho

Michael Cole:
Triple H faces his toughest challenge as WWE Champion so far, The Game defends the Gold against Randy Orton and Chris Jericho! Can The King Of Kings remain on his throne?

Mick Foley:
I've been in the ring with Triple H more than I would have liked, and The Game will do whatever he can to remain the WWE Champion! Triple H knows both Randy Orton and Chris Jericho inside-out, and The Cerebral Assasin will use that to his advantage come Sunday!

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

The Undertaker (c)
vs The Big Show vs Edge

Michael Cole:
And this will be the match on everybody's lips, The Undertaker defends the World Heavyweight Championship against The Big Show and Edge! Undertaker and Big Show will be teaming up tonight, but it's every man for himself at Judgment Day!

Mick Foley:
The Undertaker has no friends in the ring, certainly not Edge, and The Phenom will have to rise to the occasion if he wants to walk out of Judgment Day as World Heavyweight Champion!

MATCH 3

Shawn Michaels
vs
Chuck Palumbo

ENDING: Chuck Palumbo irish whips Shawn Michaels into the corner of the ring, and looks to follow up with a big boot, but Shawn Michaels escapes from the corner of the ring, leaving the boot of Chuck Palumbo stuck on the top turnbuckle! Shawn Michaels nails Chuck Palumbo with a dropkick, as Chuck Palumbo falls back to the canvas. Shawn Michaels pummels Chuck Palumbo repeatedly, with stomps to the mid-section of Chuck Palumbo, and Shawn Michaels caps off the flurry of stomps by planting an elbow in to Chuck Palumbo's sternum. Shawn Michaels gets Chuck Palumbo his feet, and nails Chuck Palumbo, with a kick to the mid-section. Shawn Michaels sends Chuck Palumbo to the canvas with a snap suplex, and climbs to the top turnbuckle. Shawn Michaels pulls the trigger on his trademark top-turnbuckle elbow drop, but Chuck Palumbo lifts up his boot, which finds its way to the skull of Shawn Michaels! Chuck Palumbo quickly gets to his feet, and flattens The Showstopper with a clothesline! Chuck Palumbo quickly covers Shawn Michaels, looking to get a shock victory under his belt,

.....Shawn Michaels gets the shoulder up!

Chuck Palumbo glares at referee Wes Adams, and gets to his feet. Chuck Palumbo lifts up Shawn Michaels, and hurls Mr. Wrestlemania over the top rope and to the outside of the ring! Chuck Palumbo departs from the ring in a more conventional manner, and drags Shawn Michaels toward the announce table. Suddenly, Shawn Michaels has a surge of energy, and hits Chuck Palumbo with consecutive right hands. Shawn Michaels knocks Chuck Palumbo off his feet with an uppercut, and Chuck Palumbo finds himself lying on the announce table. Shawn Michaels climbs on to the ring apron, and attempts a breath-taking springboard moonsault off the ropes, but Chuck Palumbo moves out of the way, and Shawn Michaels goes crashing through the SmackDown announce table!!! Chants of "Holy S**t!" Holy S**t!" break out around the Kansas Coliseum, as Chuck Palumbo quickly rolls Shawn Michaels back in to the ring. Chuck Palumbo wastes no time in hooking the leg of Shawn Michaels, looking to cause an upset,

2......

......No! Shawn Michaels gets his foot on the rope!

Chuck Palumbo cannot believe it, and grabs referee Wes Adams by the shirt. Chuck Palumbo pushes Wes Adams away, and reverts his attention to Shawn Michaels, who is still lying motionless on the canvas. Chuck Palumbo smirks cunningly at the sight of The Heart-Break Kid on the canvas, and gets Shawn Michaels to his feet. Chuck Palumbo lifts Shawn Michaels in to position for Chuck Palumbo's full throttle finishing maneuver, but Shawn Michaels slips off of Chuck Palumbo's shoulders, and lays out Chuck Palumbo with sweet chin music, to a huge pop! Shawn Michaels lays his arm over Chuck Palumbo's body,

1......

2......

......3! Shawn Michaels pulls out the victory!

"Sexy Boy"

A battered and disorientated Shawn Michaels has his hand raised by referee Wes Adams, and Shawn Michaels leaves the ring, heading up the rampway, when......

"I Walk Alone"

A livid Batista emerges from the curtain, and confronts Shawn Michaels on the rampway. Shawn Michaels fires the first shot, levelling Batista with right hands, and the rivals fight up the rampway ferociously. Batista and HBK approach the edge of the stage, and Batista looks to boot Shawn Michaels off the stage, but Shawn Michaels moves out of the way, and superkicks Batista off the stage!!! Batista goes crashing through the electrical equipment as an astonished Shawn Michaels looks down at Batista, with a remorseless look on his face. Shawn Michaels leaves, as the Wichita fans look concerned.

Michael Cole: Oh my God! Batista is in a very bad way, just 48 hours before Judgment Day! How can The Animal possibly survive the Last Man Standing match this Sunday?

Mick Foley:
I dunno, Cole, it's gonna take a medical miracle for Batista to even turn up at Judgment Day! Shawn Michaels is in pole position now!

~COMMERCIAL BREAK~

Michael Cole:
Welcome back to Friday Night SmackDown everybody, and as you saw before the commercial break, Shawn Michaels sent Batista flying off the stage with sweet chin music, and during the commercial break, The Animal was carried out of the arena on a stretcher, and let's get a medical update from Josh Matthews, backstage.

The camera switches to the medical room backstage, where Josh Matthews is standing by.

Josh Matthews: Thanks, Michael, and we are uninformed of the injury Batista has or may have sustained, but The Animal has now regained consciousness, and he has said that his ribs are aching all over, and his arms are numb, so Batista is in a severe condition, by the sounds of it. We are unsure of whether Batista can compete at Judgment Day, just 2 days away, but it's unlikely.

The camera switches back to the Kansas Coliseum, at the announce table.

Michael Cole: Thanks, Josh.

Mick Foley:
Over the past month, Batista has seemingly lost his conscience in his actions, but you have to express concern for The Animal, and hope he makes it to Judgment Day.

Michael Cole:
Certainly, Mick, these WWE fans can't wait to see the Last Man Standing match this Sunday, and they don't want to see it not go ahead!

The camera switches to backstage, where a livid Vickie Guerrero is sitting in a wheelchair, her arms folded. Chavo Guerrero walks in, looking disgruntled.

Chavo Guerrero: Can you believe this, Vickie? Linda McMahon trying to take over SmackDown, it's just wrong! She wants to talk about biased decisions, that's just what Linda McMahon did! Look at me, I'm ready to compete, and now I am deprived of what I do best - Compete.

Vickie Guerrero:
Chavo, I feel exactly the same as you do, but remember that I am the General Manager of SmackDown, so I can still make the decisions around here. You know what Linda McMahon said, the next time I make a biased decision, I will be fired, so I have to do what benefits my position as General Manager. Chavo, tonight you will go one-on-one with Kane!

Big pop, but Chavo Guerrero isn't too happy.

Chavo Guerrero: Kane?! Why Kane, Vickie?

Vickie Guerrero:
I'm terribly sorry, Chavo, but you wanted a match, and you've got one.

A disappointed Chavo Guerrero proceeds to walk away.

Michael Cole: Chavo Guerrero making a big impression on his Judgment Day opponents this Sunday tonight on SmackDown, and Mick, do you think this victory over Kane raises Chavo's chances this Sunday at Judgment Day?

Mick Foley:
Well, Michael, Chavo Guerrero has momentum on his side going into Judgment Day, but I've always rated his chances to be quite high, and my opinion will stay the same, regardless of what happens!

Michael Cole:
But still to come tonight, The Undertaker faces The Big Show, with Edge as the Special Guest Referee!

SmackDown proceeds into the "Raw Rebound" segment. The Raw Rebound highlights the Mr. McMahon-William Regal rivalry, featuring the following:

William Regal announcing that he is the 50% owner of World Wrestling Entertainment this past Monday

Michael Cole:
I cannot believe that William Regal is the new co-owner of World Wrestling Entertainment, can you, Mick?

Mick Foley:
I can't, Michael, but now William Regal truly is the most powerful entitee in the whole of the WWE, and sources tell me that Regal is going to completely change the face of Raw this Monday!

Michael Cole:
One can only wonder what William Regal is going to do come this Monday!

The camera switches backstage, where Lena Yada is standing by.

Lena Yada: Please welcome my guest at this time......the Rated-R Superstar, Edge!

Massive heat, as Edge walks into the picture, looking unhappy and wearing a referee's shirt.

Lena Yada: Edge, tonight you are the Special Guest Referee in a match which involves your two opponents at Judgment Day, The Undertaker and The Big Show. We heard earlier tonight that Linda McMahon is the new Head of SmackDown, what are your thoughts?

Edge:
Well, it's pretty obvious. Quite honestly, I'm not in a great mood right now. My fiancé, Vickie Guerrero, was getting on with her job perfectly, and Linda McMahon has the audacity to question Vickie's authority? This is, quite frankly, unbelievable.

Lena Yada:
Edge, Linda McMahon is the CEO of the WWE.

Edge:
I don't give a damn! Vickie Guerrero is a courageous woman in a male-dominated business, and Linda McMahon should idolise her, not question her. As for Judgment Day, I'm gonna become the new World Heavyweight Champion, and there is nothing The Undertaker, The Big Show or Linda McMahon can do about it.

Edge walks out of the picture to tons of heat, as the camera switches back to the arena.

Michael Cole: When we return, The Undertaker faces The Big Show, with Edge as the Special Guest Referee!
