The Night Of Champions banner looks brilliant considering you haven't had Photoshop long. But this BTB is looking good, I was happy when you brought It back and when you said that there wasn't going to be a hiatus.

Keep it going buddy!

Mr.R Presents...
ONE NIGHT STAND!
WWE; The Alternative Route

Scheduled For:
June 1st, 2008

Venue:
San Diego Sports Arena, San Diego, CA

"Give Me A "HELL" Give Me A "YEAH", Stand Up Right Now, Give Me A "HELL" Give Me A "YEAH", Stand Up Right Now, Get Ready To Go, She Ain't Moving Slow, She's Taking Control, Pushing The Pedal To The Floor, I'm Begging For More, You Better Hold On Tight"

AND NOW, WWE PRESENTS ONE NIGHT STAND; EXTREME RULES!

"Hell Yeah" by Rev Theory plays, as a spectacular display of pyrotechnics explode from the Entranceway, and the camera pans the audience present in the San Diego Sports Arena for One Night Stand. We join the Raw Announcers, Jim Ross & Jerry "The King" Lawler at ringside.

Ross: Ladies and Gentlemen across the World, we welcome you to One Night Stand! Jim Ross & Jerry "The King" Lawler at ringside, we'll be calling the Raw action tonight, and Jeff Hardy can realise a dream tonight, when he faces Triple H in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match with the WWE Championship on the line!

Lawler: And not to mention, JR, William Regal faces Mr. McMahon in a Street Fight, where the winner will gain full control of the WWE, so at the end of tonight, we could be in a WWE without Mr. McMahon! Can you imagine it, JR?

JR: I sure can't King, but now let's join our SmackDown colleagues, Michael Cole and Mick Foley!

Cole: Thanks, JR, and tonight Edge faces The Undertaker in a Tables Match for the World Heavyweight Championship!

Foley: Edge suffered the wrath of his ex-Fiancé Vickie Guerrero this past Friday Night on SmackDown, and it could result in the Rated-R Superstar's 2 week-long reign as Champion coming to an abrupt end, Michael! But don't forget, we could see the end of Shawn Michaels' career tonight!

Cole: Shawn Michaels faces The Animal Batista in an I Quit Match, where if Shawn Michaels loses, he must retire!

Foley: It's ironic that this rivalry was fuelled by Shawn Michaels retiring Ric Flair at Wrestlemania XXIV, and Shawn Michaels could see himself retiring tonight, at the hands of The Animal!

[Match One; Tag Team]
Ladder Match For the WWE Tag Team Championships
John Morrison & The Miz (c) vs. Matt Hardy & Rob Van Dam

ENDING:
Rob Van Dam pummels The Miz with repeated punches in the corner of the ring, while Matt Hardy and John Morrison fight over a ladder on the outside of the ring. Matt Hardy retrieves the ladder, and drives it right between the eyes of John Morrison, who plummets to the concrete floor quicker than you can say "Ladder". With John Morrison seemingly unconscious, Matt Hardy enters the ring with the ladder, and assists Rob Van Dam against The Miz. Matt Hardy props the ladder up in the corner of the ring, and Rob Van Dam Irish whips The Miz into Matt Hardy, who sends The Miz spine-first into the ladder with a back body drop! Rob Van Dam looks down at The Miz with a big grin on his face, and then nails The Miz with rolling thunder, as Matt Hardy sets up the ladder in the center of the ring, and Matt Hardy climbs,

Up One Rung......

Up Two Rungs......

Up Three Rungs......

Up Four Rungs......

Up Five Rungs......

Up Six Ru-

John Morrison gets back in the ring, and pushes the ladder over, as Matt Hardy goes head-first into the steel cable-reinforced ropes! John Morrison grabs Rob Van Dam by the hair, and throws Rob Van Dam to the concrete floor on the outside of the ring. John Morrison and The Miz both assault a defenceless Matt Hardy with stomps to the mid-section, before getting Matt to his feet. John Morrison gets another ladder from the outside of the ring before re-entering the squared circle, and John Morrison and The Miz go to double-suplex Matt Hardy out of the ring, but Matt lands on his feet on the ring apron, and The Miz charges at Matt Hardy, but Matt Hardy holds down the top rope, as The Miz goes tumbling out of the ring! Matt Hardy and Rob Van Dam assault The Miz and have The Miz in position for a double suplex of their own, but John Morrison climbs to the top of the ladder with another ladder in his possessions, and TAKES OUT MATT HARDY AND ROB VAN DAM WITH A LADDERSAULT OFF A LADDER!!! Deafening chants of "Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!" break out around the San Diego Sports Arena, as all four competitors lie on the concrete floor, motionless. Several moments later, The Miz gets to his feet, and with everybody else still down, The Miz gets into the ring, and climbs up the ladder himself,

Up One Rung......

Up Two Rungs......

Up Three Rungs......

Up Four Rungs......

Up Five Rungs......

Up Six Rungs......

Up Seven Rungs......

Rob Van Dam pushes the ladder over, but nevertheless, The Miz holds onto the WWE Tag Team Championship Belts on the hook in mid-air for dear life, and before The Miz can take down the Belts, Rob Van Dam climbs to the top turnbuckle, and sends The Miz plummeting to the canvas with a heel kick in mid-air! The Miz is out of it, but before Rob Van Dam can prop up the ladder and climb, the superhuman John Morrison re-enters the ring, nailing Rob Van Dam between the eyes with a ladder! John Morrison props up his ladder, and there are now two set-up ladders in the centre of the ring, and John Morrison can't decide which one to climb, and takes too long, as Matt Hardy gets back in the ring, and exchanges blows with the A-List Etilist. John Morrison kicks Matt Hardy in the mid-section, and has Matt in position for a Moonlight Drive, Rob Van Dam gets back up, and kicks John Morrison in the skull! Rob Van Dam climbs up the ladder, with the victory now inevitable,

Up One Rung......

Up Two Rungs......

Up Three Rungs......

Up Four Rungs......

Up Five Rungs......

Up Six Rungs......

Up Seven Rungs......

Rob Van Dam is within touching distance of the WWE Tag Team Championship Belts, but Rob Van Dam pauses, turns round, and does the "RVD" thumb taunt. Matt Hardy tells Rob Van Dam not to do what he's about to do, and get the WWE Tag Team Championship Belts, but Rob Van Dam doesn't take any notice, and goes for the Five-Star Frogsplash off the ladder, but John Morrison moves out of the way, as Rob Van Dam plummets toward the canvas! John Morrison pushes Matt Hardy out of the way, and John Morrison climbs the ladder himself,

Up One Rung......

Up Two Rungs......

Up Three Rungs......

Up Four Rungs......

Up Five Rungs......

Up Six Rungs......

Up Seve-

Matt Hardy is standing on the other Ladder next to the one where John Morrison is situated at, and Matt Hardy grabs the Shaman of Sexy by the hair. Matt Hardy wraps his arm around John Morrison, and side effects John Morrison off the ladder! Matt Hardy and John Morrison are out of it, but The Miz is back on his feet, gets Rob Van Dam up, and lays out Rob Van Dam with the reality check. The Miz, with everybody else down, climbs up the ladder, about to get the WWE Tag Team Championship Belts to secure the win for his team and retain the Titles,

Up One Rung......

Up Two Rungs......

Up Three Rungs......

Up Four Rungs......

Up Five Rungs......

Up Six Rungs......

Up Seven Rungs......

The Miz gets the WWE Tag Team Championship belts!

"Reality" plays, as The Miz slowly climbs down the Ladder with the WWE Tag Team Championship Belts, and has his hand raised by referee Mike Posey. The Miz gets John Morrison to his feet, and the two embrace, as the WWE Tag Team Champions leave the ring and walk up the aisle, as Rob Van Dam and Matt Hardy slowly get back up, and shake their heads in disappointment.

Cole: What a Match we have just witnessed, Ladies and Gentlemen, John Morrison & The Miz retain the WWE Tag Team Championships against Matt Hardy & Rob Van Dam in a true classic!

Foley: No matter what anybody thinks of John Morrison & The Miz, Michael, they sure deserved to win this Match.

Cole: All four competitors put their bodies and well-being on the line, but it was Morrison & Miz whose sacrifice paid off.

The camera switches backstage, where Shawn Michaels is in his Locker Room, on his knees with his hands together and praying to God. WWE Champion Triple H walks in, getting a great reception.

Triple H: Well, Shawn, I could be saying this for the last time, but what the heck...Are you ready?

Michaels: I'm not in the mood right now, Hunter, my career could be coming to an end tonight at the hands of somebody who I thought was my friend, and-

Triple H: I said, ARE YOU READY?!

Michaels: Seriously, Hunter. Do you know how much my career means to me? For 20 years, I've worked my ass off just to be in this business, and tonight, it could be all for absolutely nothin'. You're fortunate that you're on Batista's good side, Hunter, 'cause if you weren't, you could have been in my shoes right now.

Triple H: Come on, Shawn, you're The Showstopper, you're Mr.Wrestlemania. Those monikers don't come round everyday, and Batista will never be The Showstopper, he'll never be Mr.Wrestlemania. Ric Flair used to say "To be the man, you've gotta beat the man." And you beat the man.

Good reaction at mention of Ric Flair.

Michaels: I appreciate you trying to get my hopes high, Hunter, but it's an I Quit Match. Batista's The Animal, and he's proven that time and time again, and you can bet your butt that he's gonna try and beat the living hell outta me tonight. Good luck with your match against Jeff Hardy, but I've got some serious thinking to do right now.

Triple H frowns at Shawn Michaels, before leaving the Locker Room, as HBK runs his hand through his hair, breathing heavily.

[Match One; Singles]
Falls Count Anywhere
John Cena vs. Randy Orton

ENDING:
Randy Orton runs at John Cena, but John Cena retaliates emphatically, taking down Randy Orton with a side slam. John Cena raises his hand into the air, before telling Randy Orton that "You can't see me", and nailing the Legend Killer with the five-knuckle shuffle! Randy Orton slowly gets to his feet, and John Cena hoists Randy Orton onto his shoulders, ready for the FU, but Randy Orton slips off John Cena's shoulders, and low blows the Chain Gang Soldier. John Cena sinks to his knees, as Randy Orton exits the ring, and lifts up the steel stairs with his bare hands. Randy Orton throws the steel stairs into the ring, and Randy once again retrieves the weapon once in the ring, and John Cena is still on his knees. Randy Orton charges at John Cena, with the steel stairs in hand, but John Cena takes down Randy Orton with a drop toe hold, and Randy Orton's head gets jammed in an opening in the steel stairs, with the steel stairs faced down. With Randy Orton's skull in between the steel stairs, John Cena climbs to the top turnbuckle and salutes the San Diego audience, before nailing Randy Orton with a leg drop from the top turnbuckle! John Cena has hurt his legs as much as Randy Orton has hurt his head, as both competitors lie motionless on the canvas for several moments, before John Cena covers Randy Orton,

One......

Two......

......Thre-No! Randy Orton kicks out!

After John Cena unsuccessfully makes the cover, we show a replay of John Cena's leg drop, and when we return, John Cena and Randy Orton are getting to their feet. Both are up, and Randy Orton and John Cena exchange blows, but Randy Orton gains the advantage, kicking John Cena in the mid-section, and planting John Cena with a DDT. Randy Orton gets John Cena in a sleeper hold, and John Cena desperately tries to make the ropes, but after several moments, The Champ begins to fade away. John Cena is seemingly out of it, as referee Marty Elias lifts up John Cena's arm and drops it down to the canvas once. Referee Marty Elias lifts up John Cena's arm again, and drops it down to the canvas twice. Randy Orton is almost the winner of this Falls Count Anywhere Match, as referee Marty Elias goes to drop John Cena's arm to the canvas for a third time, but John Cena stops his arm a milimetre away from the canvas, and John Cena suddenly has a brief energy surge, rising to his feet, and pushing Randy Orton against the ropes. Randy Orton runs at John Cena, but John Cena kicks Randy Orton in the mid-section, runs off the ropes behind Randy Orton, and takes out Randy Orton with a throwback! John Cena raises his fists into the air with his thumbs and pinky fingers exposed to a good reception from the audience, and John Cena once again goes for the cover,

One......

Two......

......Three-No! Randy Orton gets the shoulder up!

and John Cena leaves the ring, where The Chain Gang Soldier picks up a steel chair. John Cena brings the steel chair into the ring, and Randy Orton is on his knees. John Cena raises the steel chair into the air, but Randy Orton rakes John Cena in the eyes! John Cena drops the steel chair, and Randy Orton then DDTs John Cena, face-first, onto the steel chair! Randy Orton drags John Cena out of the ring, and Randy Orton has John Cena on his knees. Randy Orton goes to punt John Cena in the skull, reminiscent of two weeks ago on Raw, but at the last split-second, John Cena moves out of the way, and throws Randy Orton through the security wall! With Randy Orton lying motionless on the collapsed segment of the security wall, John Cena drags Randy Orton up the rampway, and toward the edge of the stage. John Cena gets Randy Orton to his feet, and John Cena hurls Randy Orton into the HD Set! Randy Orton is in a bad way, as John Cena once again tells Randy Orton that "You can't see me". John Cena gets Randy Orton to his feet, but Randy Orton fights back, throwing punches at John Cena relentlessly. John Cena is teetering on the edge of the stage, but runs at Randy Orton, only to be backbreakered by the Legend Killer! Randy Orton outstretches his arms over a lifeless John Cena, drawing a lot of heat, but Randy Orton takes no notice, and backs away. Randy Orton runs at John Cena once again going for the punt, but John Cena lifts Randy Orton onto his shoulders, in position for an FU. However, Randy Orton slips off John Cena's shoulders, and runs backstage, getting away from John Cena. The Champ tells Randy Orton, wherever he is, that "he can run, but he can't hide" and John Cena runs backstage, pursuing his long-time rival. John Cena looks around, but is suddenly hit over the skull with a fire extinguisher by Randy Orton! The One-Man Dynasty spends a lot of time trash-talking to John Cena, and finally makes the cover,

One......

Two......

......Three-No! John Cena kicks out!

How the hell did John Cena kick out?! That is what Randy Orton is surely thinking to himself, as the Legend Killer looks down in astonishment at John Cena. John Cena slowly rises to his feet, clutching his bloodied skull, as Randy Orton, with a sick smile on his face, shakes his head at The Champ. John Cena takes down Randy Orton with a spear, and unloads on Randy, pummeling The Legend Killer with punches right between the eyes. John Cena gets Randy Orton to his feet, and Cena lifts Randy Orton onto his shoulders. John Cena smiles, before FUing Randy Orton onto some storage boxes! John Cena runs around, before finding a forklift, which John Cena looks at, before looking back at Randy Orton. John Cena runs over to Randy Orton, and drags The Legend Killer toward the forklift. John Cena places a disoriantated Randy Orton on top of the lift, before getting in the drivers' seat, and driving Randy Orton back out to the San Diego Sports Arena. John Cena's re-arrival is welcomed with a huge pop from the audience, and John Cena gets out of the forklift, before pointing and laughing at Randy Orton, who has been lifted 10 feet into the air by the forklift. However, Randy Orton gets up, and leaps off the forklift, taking down John Cena with a cross body! Randy Orton and John Cena are motionless on the stage, as the audience look on in amazement, and we show a replay of Randy Orton's cross body off the lift of the forklift. Randy Orton places his arm over John Cena, making the cover,

One......

Two......

......Three-No! John Cena gets the shoulder up!

Randy Orton mumbles "What the fuck?" to himself, before fully getting to his feet, and staring a hole through the will-not-die John Cena. Randy Orton gets John Cena to his feet, and Randy Orton gets John Cena in a sleeper hold, but John Cena rises to his feet, and with Randy Orton clinging onto John Cena still, John Cena reverses into the HD Set, with Randy Orton taking 100% of the damage! John Cena pumps up his sneakers, before getting Randy Orton to his feet, and lifting Randy Orton onto his shoulders. John Cena looks like he is going to FU Randy Orton off the stage, but at the last split-second, Randy Orton slips off John Cena's shoulders, and RKOS JOHN CENA OFF THE STAGE AND THROUGH THE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT! "Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!" chants fill the San Diego Sports Arena, as Randy Orton and John Cena are now truly lifeless. With his last bit of well-being, Randy Orton places his arm over John Cena's broken body, with an astonished referee Marty Elias making the count,

One......

Two......

......Three!

"Voices" by Rev Theory plays, as referee Marty Elias rushes to the scene, and lifts up Randy Orton's hand in victory. Randy Orton and John Cena are most probably unconscious, as numerous EMTs load Randy Orton and John Cena onto stretchers, and take them away.

Ross: What we have just seen was absolutely mindblowing, Ladies and Gentlemen, that Falls Count Anywhere Match has almost certainly cut years off Randy Orton and John Cena's lives, let alone their careers, King!

Lawler: Both of these men were going to do whatever it took to win this Match, JR, but I think they raised the bar of that saying, right here tonight!

Ross: We can only hope that Randy Orton and John Cena are going to be OK, if either of them have suffered a long-term injury as a result of this Match, then it would be a huge blow for Monday Night Raw!

The camera switches backstage, where Mike Adamle is standing by.

Adamle: Ladies and Gentlemen, please put your hands together and welcome my guest at this time, the Legend Thriller, Jeff Hardy!

Jeff Hardy, who could be the WWE Champion at the end of tonight, as well as Intercontinental Champion, walks into the picture, getting the biggest ovation of the night so far, surpassing the receptions for John Cena, Triple H and Rob Van Dam.

Adamle: Jeff, tonight you could be WWE Champion. Tell me, have you imagined what it would be like to hold the WWE Championship?

Hardy: Before I faced Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble, I would never have imagined that I would have a chance at being WWE Champion. But this past Monday, I proved that I am on Triple H's level, and that I can be WWE Champion.

Adamle: Jeff, the Match stipulation for your Match tonight is in your favour. Does that perhaps improve your chances of winning?

Hardy: Triple H has never been in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match, but I made a name for myself in Tables, Ladders & Chairs Matches. Triple H, I hope you can see and hear me, because I'm letting you know that you're at a disadvantage tonight. This is my territory, and trespassers will be prosecuted.

With a very serious expression on his face, Jeff Hardy walks out of the picture, getting another great reception.

[Match Three; Singles]
I Quit Match
Shawn Michaels Loses, He Must Retire
Shawn Michaels vs. Batista

ENDING:
Shawn Michaels and Batista both get to their feet, and sluggishly exchange right hands, but Batista gains the advantage over Shawn Michaels, kicking HBK in the mid-section, and hitting Shawn Michaels with a snap suplex. Batista uses the ropes to struggle to his feet, and The Animal pummels Shawn Michaels with repeated stomps to the mid-section. Batista gets Shawn Michaels to his feet, and irish whips HBK against the ropes. Shawn Michaels comes running back toward Batista, and The Animal plants Shawn Michaels with a spinebuster! Batista decides to get dirty, and leaves the ring, finding a steel chair under the squared circle. Batista drags Shawn Michaels out of the ring, and Batista throws right hands relentlessly at The Showstopper. Batista grabs hold of Shawn Michaels' arm, and hurls Shawn Michaels into the steel stairs! Shawn Michaels clutches his shoulder in agony, as Batista nods his head, accompanied with a sick, devious smirk. Batista grabs Shawn Michaels by his long, brown hair, and gets Shawn Michaels in a bearhug. Batista keeps Shawn Michaels in the bearhug, before driving HBK into the steel ringpost! Batista grabs a microphone, and demands Shawn Michaels that he quits, but Shawn Michaels, with his last breath, shouts out, "I Don't Quit!"

Batista raises his eyebrows and frowns at Shawn Michaels' decision to continue, and grabs hold of Shawn Michaels' leg, and is about to slam Shawn Michaels' leg into the steel ringpost, but Shawn Michaels pushes Batista away with his leg, and Batista runs at Shawn Michaels again, only to find his skull rammed into the steel stairs, courtesy of a drop toe hold executed by Shawn Michaels! With Batista's face lying on the steel stairs, Shawn Michaels climbs onto the security wall. Shawn Michaels delivers a crotch-chop, much to the delight of the audience, before nailing the back of Batista's skull with an elbow drop from the top of the security wall! Both competitors lie motionless on the concrete floor for several moments, before Shawn Michaels nips up, and drags Batista over to the Spanish Announce Table. Shawn Michaels lays Batista on the Announce Table, and HBK climbs to the top turnbuckle. Shawn Michaels goes for a moonsault, but Batista moves out of the way, as Shawn Michaels crashes through the Announce Table! Batista gets to his feet, and drags Shawn Michaels into the ring. Batista tucks Shawn Michaels' skull in between his legs, ready for the Batista Bomb, and Batista lifts Shawn Michaels into the air, but Shawn Michaels' weight forces Batista toward the ropes, and both competitors go tumbling out of the ring! Moments later, both Shawn Michaels and Batista get to their feet, and Shawn Michaels kicks Batista in the mid-section, and suplexes Batista on the concrete floor! Shawn Michaels presses the microphone to Batista's lips, but The Animal screams out "I Don't Quit!", and pushes Shawn Michaels into the ring apron.

Shawn Michaels gets Batista to his feet, but Batista suddenly grabs Shawn Michaels, and drives Shawn Michaels' spine into the ring apron! Shawn Michaels sinks to the concrete floor, as Batista solemnly smiles at the sight of his rival laying, with a broken body. Batista gets Shawn Michaels to his feet, and lifts The Showstopper up for a Batista Bomb. However, Shawn Michaels' strength sends Batista backwards, and both fall over the security wall, and into the crowd! Both get to their feet, as Shawn Michaels and Batista brawl throughout the audience. A fan frees his seat, which is a steel chair, and Shawn Michaels takes the steel chair, to slam it over the skull of Batista! Batista falls to the ground, as Shawn Michaels pummels Batista with blows to the face of The Animal. Shawn Michaels grabs a microphone from the Announce Table, and presses it to Batista's lips. However, Batista refuses to quit, and shouts out "I Don't Quit!" to Shawn Michaels', and the audience's, disappointment.

Shawn Michaels gets Batista to his feet, and drags The Animal up the audience area, until both are by the Executive Boxes. Shawn Michaels looks at an incredibly disorientated Batista, before looking back at the Executive Box, shielded with glass, and Shawn Michaels lets out a beaming grin on his face. Shawn Michaels is about to throw Batista through the glass, but Batista steps back, and Shawn Michaels and Batista revert to engaging in a brawl. Shawn Michaels kicks Batista in the mid-section, and then goes for sweet chin music, but Batista dodges the attempt, and low blows Shawn Michaels! Shawn Michaels crouches down, holding his groin area in agony, but Batista, as always, shows no remorse, tucking Shawn Michaels' head between The Animal's legs. Batista lifts Shawn Michaels up high, in a Batista Bomb position, but with a maneuver almost like a Last Ride, Batista throws Shawn Michaels through the glass of the Executive Boxes! Batista looks somewhat surprised at what pain he just imposed on a motionless Shawn Michaels before, in typical fashion, letting out a huge grin at what he has done, provoking massive heat from the audience. Batista steps into the Executive Box, and grabs a battered and bloodied Shawn Michaels by the hair. Batista gets a microphone of a table, before pressing it to Shawn Michaels' lips, but Shawn Michaels refuses to quit!

Batista mumbles to Shawn Michaels, "You're getting what you deserve, you no-good son-of-a-bitch", before getting The Showstopper to his feet. Batista grabs Shawn Michaels, before trying to ram Shawn Michaels into another set of glass, but Shawn Michaels slips out of Batista's grasps at the last second, and clotheslines Batista to the ground. However, out of exhaustion, Shawn Michaels falls to the ground as well, as both lie motionless on the carpet of the Executive Box for several moments, before getting back to their feet. Batista and Shawn Michaels exchange blows, before Batista kicks Shawn Michaels in the mid-section, and shoves The Showstopper into a wall. Batista talks trash to Shawn Michaels for a while, but takes too long, as Shawn Michaels grabs a hanging picture off the wall, and smashes it over Batista's skull! With Batista lying in a pool of his own blood, a pleased Shawn Michaels stands over Batista, mocking The Animal with a series of crotch-chops, before getting Batista to his feet. Shawn Michaels gets Batista out of the Executive Box, and throws Batista down the stairs! Batista tumbles down the stairs and down to the security wall, as Shawn Michaels goes down the stairs in a more conventional manner, and lifts Batista over the security wall, with both competitors now in front of the announce table. Shawn Michaels gets Batista to his feet, but Batista trips up HBK, and grabs Shawn Michaels by the legs. Batista catapults Shawn Michaels into the steel post, and Shawn Michaels falls to the concrete floor, blood pouring from The Icon's forehead. Batista grabs a set of cables from the Announce Table, and approaches Shawn Michaels again. Batista untangles the set of cables which takes several moments, and Batista prepares to wrap the cables around the neck of Shawn Michaels, but Shawn Michaels low-blows Batista, as the two competitors switch places. Shawn Michaels grabs the cables from the ground, wraps them round Batista's neck, and begins to choke the life out of Batista! Shawn Michaels is relentless, as Batista begins to choke blood out of his mouth, and Shawn Michaels gets a microphone, pressing it to Batista's mouth. Batista tries to hang on in there, but The Animal can't go on, and Batista shouts out "I QUIT! I QUIT! I QUIT! I QUIT!"

"Sexy Boy" plays, as a battered and bloodied Shawn Michaels has his hand raised by referee Jack Doan, and EMTs rush to the scene, helping Shawn Michaels to his feet, and checking Batista.

Cole: Shawn Michaels' career is still alive, Ladies and Gentlemen, but Michaels shed a lot of blood, sweat and tears in that ring right there tonight.

Foley: Absolutely, Michael, but if it kept Shawn Michaels' career alive, then it would have been worth it.

Cole: That match will have definitely shortened the careers of both Shawn Michaels and Batista tonight, but HBK's career could have been over already if he lost to The Animal!

The camera switches backstage, where World Heavyweight Champion Edge is sitting in his Locker Room, looking into thin air, wide-eyed. Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder walk in, as Edge looks up, sighing.

Hawkins:Hey Edge.

Edge: Hey guys. Look, right now isn't a good time to be here, I've got a lot going on right now, so can you just, you know, go?

Ryder: Don't worry, Edge, we understand how you feel right now, but we're just letting you know that, er, Chavo wants to see you. But relax, just do it in your own time.

Edge: Alright, thanks.

Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder walk out, as Edge resumes looking into thin air, but then LITA walks in, getting a huge mixed reception from San Diego.

Lita: How's it going, Edge? Long time, no see.

Edge looks up at Lita, before putting his head back down to the ground, running his hand through his hair.

Lita: Look, I'm sorry for what happened this past Friday on SmackDown, but it's just that I was looking out for your best interests.

Edge looks up at Lita again, but this time keeps his head up.

Edge: (Whispering) What do you mean?

Lita: You didn't need Vickie Guerrero, that little bimbo didn't deserve you. Now that she's out of the way, everything can go back to how it used to be. You've got the World Championship, and-

Edge: (Snarling) THANKS TO VICKIE GUERRERO, I COULD LOSE IT TONIGHT, TO THE UNDERTAKER!
The audience is enlightened at the mention of The Undertaker, and go nuts for 'Taker.

Lita: Look, don't worry, baby, I've got two guys who can take care of The Undertaker for you tonight, so by the end of tonight you're still gonna be Champion. And, could you return the favor prematurely, baby?

Lita sits on Edge's knee, and there's no holding back, as Edge and Lita make out endlessly, and we return to the ring.

Cole: Did Lita say she had two guys who could "take care of The Undertaker tonight"?

Foley: I think she did, Michael, which adds more anticipation to Edge's Tables Match with The Undertaker!

Cole: Next is the Street Fight between William Regal and Mr. McMahon, and have you ever seen Business Partners who hate each other this much?
