WOOOOOOO! Happy May People!
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone thinks it would be:
> Too much to have two surprise returns in one night? Even if it is the first edition?
> Unusual to start off the show with a completely unannounced match featuring the show's top champion?

Re: BTB Discussion Thread - May 2008
I was wondering. When i start my BTB i was planning on dropping ECW but then i was wondering what you people would prefer
Either i drop ECW and really work hard on Raw and Smackdown
Or i keep ECW and do really short and not much detailed shows and not work as hard on Smackdown and RAW

As you probably expected, I think you should drop ECW and work hard on RAW and Smackdown. I say this because they are the most important shows, and honestly, have the most potential when it comes to writing quality. Besides, you'd never want to risk the quality of a particular show just to have more shows. You should do whatever you're most comfortable with, and whatever you have time for. Which, as you seem to be suggesting, involves dropping ECW.

I don't see a problem with the match, as long as it's not something too big like a hell in a cell match for the belt or something. It would be pretty unexpected as well, which is cool.
I'm not sure about the two returns. I think it would be good if they where connected to each other, and therefore you could make an interesting situaiton out of them. Otherwise it might be a little too much... but just a little.

Do an angle where some of the ECW originals threaten to quit and what not and all the other ECW superstars who arent originals start defecting to the other shows then hold an ECW v WWE match which WWE wins.

Depends on who the surprise returners are. One could be a jobber, another could be a main eventer. One could be a diva, another could be a mid-carder. I all depends on where they stand in pro wrestling. If they're both main eventers, that might be a bit of a stretch.
Why not? WWE did that before. They had John Cena and Triple H involved in some crazy five-way match with Sheltn Benjiman, RVD and some other cat. In the end, Shelton won the IC title. So yeah, you could make that work.

I was hoping someone would say something along those lines. I figured that would make the difference.

Re: BTB Discussion Thread - May 2008
As some of you have noticed, my BTB thread has been struck, and I'll be returning in mid-June, and I'll be a lot more prepared.
Question: Would it be wrong of me to include deceased wrestlers in any future BTB's I do (namely a certain someone).

Yes, unless it was before the date of thier death.
Don't agree with the rule, but have to abide by it anyway.
