Maybe some people are producing quality shows but are just not gaining attention because no one reads them.
Sounds like someone has had some personal experience of that.
To the people that have, tough shit. If your so desperate, keep writing and earn yourself reviews by churning out shows and showing you are committed to the thread.

Kind of but not really DC. If you look around not every great booker gets reviews. Look at KOP right now, no one has reviewed his shows and his stuff is the best out there, or even look at yourself.
I do look at myself, but I don't care. If I get reviews, I would welcome them, but I write for me and me alone. If people like the writing in the process, that makes it even better, but I don't always expect them to take time out to give me comments.

Once again, my not so neutrel friend, who's name is unknown to me at this juncture, is right. BTB is about spending some time letting your creative mind go all out and hopefully having fun in the process. Why should you let yourself be influenced by some subjective comments from someone else, if that's your only reason of writing.

This is why you two are both great bookers. Why book shows if its only for someone to pat you on the back and say well done? Do it for fun and fun only.
Location: Hopefully I can put America in this little box one day, but for the moment, I'll have to put the United Kingdom.

Re: BTB Discussion Thread - May 2008
Well I'm not afraid to admit this. I write for my own pleasure yes, but do I write to hopefully garner some comments and reviews? Of course I do. I think everyone does to be perfectly honest. I mean why do people publish books? For people to read. Why do people make films? For people to watch. Why do people write wrestling fiction in the form of Be The Booker? For people to read.

How do you people post shows? I personally write them out on Word first, then I copy/paste sections and change colors and all.
Do you think it's easier to do the entire show in one shot and change colors, or post it bit by bit. It's a real tedious process for me to post shows onto here, but maybe there's a different way that I don't know about. I'm just curious.
