Re: BTB Discussion Thread - May 2008
The discussion before, it was ridiculous, on both sides of the argument. I really don't care if you're dead or not, though. I make fun of Hitler, Saddam, dead religious leaders, Alexander the Great, and quite a few others that I'm really not at liberty to discuss right now. I honestly wouldn't give a damn if someone made fun of me if I died; you can honestly see that all those people I listed have done more than the people making fun of them. Quite literally, those people are laughing in their graves at those laughing and mocking them. Benoit and Eddie, laughing at our asses too. Just what the hell have we done that is in the slightest of significance pertaining to anything as of now? I don't know any of you guys personally, but I'm guessing the majority of this forum is pulling shit out of their asses for the sake of it.
And, regarding the seriousness of Be The Booker, I agree with no one. I myself want to be a writer, and booking and writing here aids me in my plight to become what I want to be. You can disrespect that, shit on that, hate on that, but then again, you can also go fuck yourself, because I don't give a shit what anyone on this forum says. If someone books passionately, by all means, do what makes you happy. If you're in this for blowing off some steam, by all means, go ahead. But I do find hypocrisy in Szumi's prior statement. Does the name, "Grendrill," mean anything to you, Szumi? Do the words, "Plagiarism," mean anything to you, Szumi? If you know those words, man, then you're a hypocrite. You became all insane and serious about Grendrill doing this, and Grendrill doing that, and blah blah blah. And yet, here you go, undermining bookers who are being, quote on quote, "serious," about their BTB ventures. HYPOCRISY.
Oh, and by the way, I'm not being serious. :: no smiley ::
EDIT: Oh, and I really don't mean much offense by this. The real guy behind the WCW Rules facade is much nicer than this, so I apologize for whatever I said above. Just saying how I geniunely feel, is all. I know it's the Internet, but then again, you can't say you're not discussing with real people, because you are. Yes, it's WCW "Too Kind" Rules!

Re: BTB Discussion Thread - May 2008
Rofl, I friggin love you dude.
However, the name Grendrill, and the term plagiarism, have no personal meaning to me. The only time I had real beef with him was when he personally attacked me and Spart and tried to make us into liars. All of the other shit he did, never had any problems. People just tend to think I had problems with him over his plagiarizing because I was the judge of the promo he plagiarized. When Scott made it personal, Chris and I responded in kind. That's the only time I've had beef.
I have no criticism for the people who are here to have fun and write/book. That is why I am here as well. However, to get riled up over some silly, impersonal matter - a joke - is silly. We're all here to have fun, but that message has gotten lost along the way. Irrationality, immaturity, and the corporate thought process of this place needing to be governed like a corporation, has impurified that. We all need to loosen our proverbial ties, stop getting our knickers in a twist, and have fun.

And in order to make things fun around here, we also have to instigate some drama, because without drama, this place would just be a writing section with no personalities. Though most people aren't inclined to having drama, sometimes it's needed for some great discussion. <3

^ agreed, I think fun is the most important, that why I could care less if I get reviewed. But its annoying when people get way too competitive over who's thread is better. Who cares? I do it because I enjoy writing.

What's peoples limit for gimmick matches at a PPV. Do you love loads of gimmicks, or do you love just normal wrestling bouts?

Earlier this afternoon, Mr. McMahon sold his company, World Wrestling entertainment to his son Shane McMahon. Shane took over as Chairman, and is onto hiring more talent and a CEO. Shane is said to be pleased with the way things have turned out for him, however he is worried for his parents divorce. Lordsofpain will keep you updated on this situation at all times.

rofl.
I would've expected Mac to keep this under control and not let it run into needless pages of complaining about Szum's albeit stupid yet strangely funny idea. But he didn't
Let's put the whole thing to rest plz.

Depends on the stories being told, or if the occasion calls for them, to be honest. Limit for a PPV, however, that's not One Night Stand or Cyber Sunday, something in that vein? Probably around two or three, at most. The bigger the gimmick, the less gimmick matches you have at a PPV.

How many matches do you think a big ppv (slammiversary, Summerslam) should have?

Normal wrestling bouts for me, plz. Gimmicks aren't really that cool. Well, WWE gimmicks anyway. Gimme the old days when wrestlers fought to prove themselves over the other. As opposed to soap opera gimmicks with tons of drama.
Oh, and the heels who ramble on just to get everybody to laugh.
What would you mortals do without me?
