Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
RAW Review
Opening: A good opening, a little surprised that JBL chose himself, but then I realized that it was totally like himself to choose himself; after al, he's a "Wrestling God". I've never been a fan of his ring work (or JBL in general), but HBK can carry almost anyone to a good match.
Carlito/Holly: While I don't like Holly, I'm glad he got the win, because it keeps momentum for his team, while not taking any away the other one. Although, seeing as how Santino's more of a comedy wrestler, it would've made more sense for him to lose his match, and Carlito to win his.
Kennedy/Murdoch: The match was basically a squash, and his promo was good, but since Punk is the MITB holder, it would've been better that Kennedy insult him.
JBL Interview: I figured that was why JBL chose himself. I don't have much to say on this, other than it was good.
Show/Crazy: Just a squash. Nothing else to say.
Cena Interview: Cena doesn't really seem like a conceited guy, and that's kind of how he came off here, especially with asking Maria out. And Snitzky? Why isn't he gone?
Tag Match: Just seemed like a filler match, nothing special. It seems like you're pushing CT, which is good.
Cantino Interview: Not really an interview, but I digress. The Tag Title Match should be a good one, hoping that Holly and Rhodes drop the titles.
Rhodes/Smith: The match seemed a little random, just to give Rhodes some momentum heading into his title match next week. But for some reason, I think that we'll be seeing this match someday in the future in reality for the IC Title or something.
Melina/Jillian: I've got to check back on this thread, seeing as how it was inactive due to your banning. I say that because the only way this match really had some sort of signifigance was if Melina was Women's Champion. Otherwise, it didn't have much to it, and seemed like filler.
Regal/Hunter Segment: I feel that this cheapened the main event. It was kind of like a Pick Your Poison, only the representatives faced each other. Adding Hunter to the match is kind of like a copout, and doesn't make it feel as important. It just seems like you needed a way to get Hunter on the show.
Cena/Snitzky: I feel bad for Cena, since he had to wrestle Snitzky before a hot date with Maria. He'll be picturing those pearly yellows all night. An okay match.
Highlight Reel: Good thing you're doing something with Burchill. Best segment of the night, both guys were really in-character, and I love that the brawl got out of hand. It's always good to see a fight get broken up by security.
Main Event: MOTN by far. The finish was good, as no one looked weak. It gives Shawn great momentum heading into his title match, which should be a good one. I was expecting Orton to come out and deliver some RKOs, since it was noted several times he wasn't there, and usually, they are.
Overall: A less-than-solid show, due to the fact that most of the matches were just squashes or filler. The segments saved the show, especially the Highlight Reel, which I would imagine to be a very good segment, since Jericho's a god on the mic. It had good build-up to the PPV, although it could've been better if Kennedy beat someone credible in a non-squash. Other than that, it was a pretty good show. 6.5/10.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
Raw Review!
opening segment: Lol at JBL TBH. This was a good solid Opening Promo especially with Regal saying Orton was to hurt, Then announcing HBK as his seregate, Can't wait to see where this leads.
Match 1: Carlito vs Bob holly, Good match here and the right decision in booker, No point carlito winning then beating down Bob, Good hype with Santino running down but Rhodes making the save.
Kennedy Vs Murdoch + segment: Good little promo using past history and also hyping up for Backlash, Your a kennedy mark right? The match just gives Kennedy Momentum.
JBL Promo: Very solid promo, You got the JBL character well in order, Liked how he just looked at Grisham.
The Big show vs Supercrazy: SQUASH THAT LEMON !
Cena Promo plus the commentators running down the matches: Lol at Cena asking out Maria Match for later on set up, The commentators did well also.
Rhodes vs Smith: Good match with Smith suprisling getting some offence, Gives rhodes dominance heading into their title match.
Melina vs Jillian: Lol at the singing, Good short match to establish Melina.
Regal and Hunter segment: Interesting here, Looks like JBL's burnt his bridges in past weeks and he's gonna pay.
Cena vs Snitsky: Good solid match with Snitsky getting offence in but the right man winning.
The Highlight reel: Lol at Jericho getting owned, I didnt like how Birchill got the first hit and kept kicking him but Jericho finally got the advantage, But i guess he is the champ.
Main event: Good solid back and forth Main event with HBK playing it smart for the beginning but then getting involved. Good finish with HBK picking up the suprise victory.
Overall: Another good show where everything had a reason, The backlash Hype was very well done and I can't wait to read it. Their was 2 squash matches in my mind but The Kenendy one had a promo, Anyway still a great show. Rating : 9/10.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
Just want to give a little update on why I have been absent from this thread, well firstly, I have been getting less and less time to do this and I have been swamped with schoolwork which was making doing anything fun, hard.
Secondly, I've been lacking motivation to actually be bothered to start writing it, and this usually happens when I come near my PPV's. But I am not quiting this thread, no way.
Last reason, if this counts as a reason, is I have been using most of my spare time to play with my mates on World of Warcraft BUT I'll have some sort of update for you's to sink your teeth in soon enough. It'll probably be news and notes for RAW.
This thread will probably start going at a much slower pace for a while, whilst I can get some time and motivation to start writing the shows, etc. Again.

That's fine Lashley. You have a great BTB, I don't want to see it end. Go at your own pace.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
Wrestling Observer:
Quote:
It is reported that this Tuesday will see the beginning of a new tag team. It won't be announced but on ECW Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke will team together to take on a unknown team, probably some jobbers. Creative want to see what they work like together before putting the final touches in and announcing them as a team.
Grim news next however for ECW, Vince is reportedly losing money on the ECW product and has set an ultimatum on the ECW staff and workers: Get me higher ratings and money or say goodbye to ECW. IF on the sad chance ECW is ended then a special draft will be made for the superstars, probably exclusive to WWE.COM.
Creative and Vince are reportedly more excited for the draft then they are for Backlash (Which will be Lashley's first PPV). They cannot wait for the draft as it is going to be the best draft they've had in history and it will be set to shake up all the rosters.
Some news on Backlash next, it is reported that Backlash will be pretty predictable and will feature only a few title changes. It has been reported that atleast one of the world titles will change hands, whether it be the ECW title, the WWE Title or the World Heavyweight title.
Kennedy could actually lose his match against Punk at Backlash although it has been stated by many sources that Kennedy is a clear winner as Punk was never scheduled to be MITB and was chosen instead of Jeff Hardy who was suspended and returns to RAW soon. If Kennedy does lose he will most likely be drafted BACK to SmackDown!
For the last bit of news we will go over something that happened on RAW, regarding Maria and John Cena. It seemed as if Maria was falling for Cena and they went for "coffee" *kayfabe* this could actually be a developing storyline to make Maria, Cena's valet, which could end up making them both heel. We will tell you more about everything when we know more.

Just a little update, the ECW thing is actually true, I may end ECW as I HATE writing it and it wastes my time as I could utilize the stars better on different shows.
No idea when ECW will be up as I haven't started writing it yet, maybe this week.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment

Bulldozered
Tonight on ECW, the team of Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke, who are two good friends take on Balls Mahoney and Mike Knox. Burke and Benjamin are very good friends and it was Elijah Burke that persuaded the gold standard to come and join the land of extreme.
The announcement last Friday on SmackDown! was a shocker when Alejandro Estrada announced he would be re-managering Umaga and that the Samoan Bulldozer would be joining ECW! Tonight AAE is out to tell us when Umaga will debut!
Jamaica's own, Kofi Kingston is in action tonight against fellow cruiserweighter Nunzio. At Backlash Kofi Kingston will take on a mystery opponent for the Cruiserweight title but tonight Kofi will be looking to keep his undefeated streak intact.
In tonights main event, Mr. Money in The Bank, CM Punk takes on one half of the WWE Tag Team champions, John Morrison. These two have history as Punk won the ECW title off Morrison last year for his first ever title reign. Tonight who will come out on top?
Don't miss all this and more from the land of extreme, when WWE and Sci-Fi bring you ECW at 11/12 PM EST.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
Okay so the news was very good telling us about Backlash and stuff i like it when people keep me informed. Also the ECW preview was very good Benjamin and Burke as a team will rule. Umaga debuting at ECW should be good can not wait to find out when. Kingston against mystery opponent curios who it is. And last Punk vs Morrison has been done many times before but it is still good because these two guys equal instant classic.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
ECW looks good Adam, and I'll try to leave a few comments for you.
Burke/Benjamin as a tag team? That's what I call good booking, tbh. Two athletic guys with a large amount of potential will bring in ratings, as well as myself.
AAE/Umaga is something else I love. Damn, you are going all out on the stables, aren't you? Having someone with Umaga in his current gimmick usually means he'll be getting some kind of a push, as AAE can do the talking on the mic to help the angle he's involved in.
Punk as the ECW Champ is good, but another Punk/Morrison match is kind of meh. I guess I'll see how things turn out.
So is Kofi your CW Champ? Wow, I love this as well. I guess I decided to read at the write time, eh? I'm liking everything you've done so far.
ECW looks to be quite good, for ECW that is, so you can expect a review from me, no doubt.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
You've intrigued me with your news. Best draft in history is what gets me. I'm curious to see what happens.
Like the ECW preview. PM me when the show is up, will definitely review.
