Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
RKO920's Review
VIP Lounge- Good Promo. I liked how you had MVP totally in character. Im looking foward to MVP vs. Hardy. I also liked how MVP ripped into the Hardys. Chavo?! Dident see that coming.
Finlay vs. Palumbo- Good start match. I liked the fact that Horsnwaggle got involved to help Finlay win.
Handicap Match Annoncemnt- Hm. This match has good potential next week. Im looking foward to it.
Kozlov vs. Funaki- Pretty predictiable, but you got to have one of these per show imo.
Batista- I liked his aggession in this promo. I can see Batista with the title soon.
Show vs. Umaga- I liked this match. I liked how Umaga low bowed Big Show to help him win the match. Lmfao at Estrada with the Cigar. Umaga to ECW? Hm.
Divas Tag Match: Cherry got some offence. I liked that. I liked how you put Victoria and Maryse over though.
Edge Promo- Edge leaving? I can see him coming back tonight tbh.
Kingston vs Dykstra- Good match. Glad you had Kofi go over in this one.
Big Show- Good promo. I can see Big Show going to ECW to get revenge on Umaga.
Taker vs. Batista- Nice M.E. Ref bump. Taker with the tombstone! And I was right! Edge is back! Spear and Batista wins. Good booking imo.
Good show 8/10

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment

SmackDown! News & Notes
- The rejoining of the Umaga and Estrada duo was a one which has been on the cards for awhile, since creative feel Umaga hasn't been pushed as much as he had been when he was with Estrada. They also feel he has lost credibility. Now, Umaga is on ECW and a ECW world title reign is expected to come his way around about the time that the Great American Bash PPV starts.
- Chavo Guerrero helped MVP attack Matt Hardy this week on SmackDown! just so he could make an appearance and not lose credibility. Next week in his handicap match with MVP and Matt he is expected to tell MVP that he won't be helping him anymore as he needs to concentrate on beating Kane at Backlash. This will then end their little team that started last week on ECW.
- Head of creative and booking, Lashley™ is reportedly not very happy with his work thus far and can't wait to get Backlash done so he can have a new start, with completely new feuds and storylines. He is relishing the draft as he is going to really mix up the rosters.
- Rumored RAW to SmackDown! draftee, Santino Marella is in line for a big push, according to sources. Lashley is a fan of Santino and loves his goofy character, he hopes to get him off of RAW and onto SmackDown! so he can give him a push and hopefully have him as a top heel someday alongside Edge.
****************************
Well there you have it, some news and notes. Don't think I missed anything out that I wanted to state. As promised I will return all the feedback, given, but it'll take time, I have about 4 left to do so it's not all bad. RAW will be up sometime next week.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
VIP Lounge: This was a pretty good opening segment. MVP was very in character, making fun of Hardy and the Bears. The only problem I had in this one was the lack of confrontation between Matt and MVP. Yes, they talked for a little while, but Matt was kind of dull. I was hoping for a Matt attack on MVP...but Chavo seem to get there first. Don’t know why Chavo was there, maybe just because he was the heel?
Palumbo/Finlay: This match was seemingly just a filler match, but it was good for what it was. I figured Finlay would win. I kind of wish Finlay wouldn’t win that way, I like face Fin a lot better. Actually, if you get rid of Honrswoggle it would be even better. I just really hate little Horny.
Backstage segment: Looks good, that’s a big match. I don’t see it ending cleanly though.
Kozlov vs. Funaki: Squash…
Interview segment: Great segment. I hope Batista gets into the title hunt, he makes a pretty good champion. Batista vs. Undertaker tonight should be huge, but once again...I don’t see a clean finish.
Umaga vs. Big Show: First off, AAE back with Umaga is a great idea. Umaga was much better with a mouthpiece like Estrada. Good to see Umga on Smackdown! But I had a big ptoblem with this match. Big Show losing in seven minutes? Even against Umaga that shouldn’t happen. Hopefully Show gets his revenge.
Diva tag team match: Good to see the heels win this match, hopefully you push Victoria. That’s really all I can say about this one I guess.
Edge promo: Edge seemed out of character here, he’s not the kind of person that would “leave” the show when Undertaker is in a big match. Its obvious he is going to interfere in the match, but still it didn’t seem right. Also, this could have been a bit longer.
Dykstra vs. Kofi: Glad to see Kofi win here, I’m a huge fan of his. Hopefully he gets pushed to the US title, but I have a feeling it won’t happen soon due to Matt taking the title off MVP soon.
Main event: Excellent main event! Batista and Undertaker always put on great matches, and this didn’t seem like any different. I knew Edge would interfere. This feud has had good build, and this only improves it. Hopefully they out on a good match at Backlash with Undertaker winning.
Overall: Overall it was a good read. I had a few problems with the show such as the Show/Umaga match but the good outweigh the bad. Also, you could have made your promos a little bit longer, even for recaps.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
Wow, this is probably the most reviews I've had for one show ever! Even though most of them reviewed for a review back I appreciate this, and I am grateful. I am a man of my word and I will get to reviewing everyone back.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
Lashley’s SmackDown Feedback.
I’ve never read this thread before so forgive me if I miss something that I probably shouldn’t. Without reading anything and just judging a book by it’s cover – I hope like hell you’re not a big Bobby Lashley fan. I hate the guy and a push to the moon for him would probably be disastrous.
First things first – I like your SmackDown banner.
Okay, the show kicks off with MVP and the VIP Lounge hosting Matt Hardy. You set the scene very well to begin with although it would help to know exactly WHO MVP’s bodyguard is?? Hit and miss promo really. MVP was good at some stage where as at other stages he was a little off. You made good use of garnering cheap heat but the bit where MVP said that the VIP Lounge is for people better than Matt Hardy... well he’s contradicted himself because one would imagine that he invited him on, why else would he be out there? Hardy was straight to the point in his desire to win the title although I hope after Backlash you are done with this feud as it’s old now. Chavo coming out seems a little random to me but that could be one of those things I’ve missed, Chavo and MVP could have an allegiance, I don’t know. If that’s the case then that’s all well and good but if not, it’s really quite random and could be just Chavo trying to get his nose into the United States Title match but I’m fairly confident he’s already involved with Kane???
Finlay and Chuck to kick things off huh? I’m not a fan of either man but there is no denying Finlay’s ability so I think you most certainly made the right decision. I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing Finlay get pushed since there is a lot worse talent then him in BTB getting pushed to the moon. Good to see that you didn’t make this a total squash, as an 8 minute opener is hardly a squash match and you noted that Palumbo got in a bit of offence.
MVP and Chavo next week to take on Hardy huh? I’d say they’ll both totally decimate Hardy here before Matt gets the “overcoming the odds” victory at Backlash because you want both MVP and Chavo looking strong going into Backlash because I’m fairly confident they’ll both lose. I wouldn’t be a fan of Hardy going over in the handicap match next week at all.
I hate Kozlov. The end.
Ah. Batista. As bland and as generic as ever. I hope you don’t go down that route. It’s been done. Don’t go there. You had to have to interview though to give your Main Event some hype, so that’s fair enough. It’d be tragic though if you decided to go down the Batista v Edge/Taker route though. It’s old.
A Big Show and Umaga feud really could’ve been quite good. It’s a damn shame you had the match on this show, you could’ve built it into quite an epic encounter since both big men are quite talented. This section has reaffirmed to me what I initially thought earlier in the show but did not mention in that you have some syntax problems that do take away from the quality of the production and not make it as easy to read as it could be. So Umaga is an ECW Superstar now? What was he before? Raw or SD? Going by this I’d imagine he was on SD but stranger things have happened.
Strange to hear Dykstra refer to himself as a “Future Main Eventer” when he usually calls himself a “Future Hall of Famer”, a moniker which suits him better than a future main eventer in my opinion. Clearly Vickie Guerrero is in a giving mood this evening.
Women’s Tag Match huh? Good to see you giving the chicks a chance to showcase themselves but it doesn’t particularly interest me.
The structure of this promo was horrible. I can’t find another word for it. You used the wrong words and the paragraph was poorly structured which killed the effect the promo could’ve had. Regardless of that, I’m not stupid, we all know Edge will be there in the Main Event.
Kofi is still undefeated in your thread? That’s cool. I’m still split on him, I’m not quite sure whether I like him or not yet. I haven’t decided. Good to see him pick up the win though thus maintaining his streak and it probably garners Dykstra a little bit of heat to following his egotistical promo early. Smart enough booking.
Maybe you are going to have a ‘Mags/Big Show feud. That’s good. I didn’t like the promo, didn’t sound like Show at all. He was poorly characterised and you didn’t portray his true persona well at all. Never the less, glad to see you’re going to build on the feud although it seems fairly evident that you are using Big Show to put Umaga over. I do think you answered my question from earlier though with the way you worded one of Big Show’s lines in that Umaga must have previously been on Raw.
Very well booked Main Event. I liked it. Edge screwing ‘Taker adds some more hype to their feud which is great and it gives Batista some momentum. The fact that Batista was motionless when he was dragged on to Taker by Edge in stills that ‘Taker maintains his finishers momentum. Smart stuff. I like it.
Overall, a solid show. Enough to make me keep reading. I like that your recap was short and to the point. If it was much longer it definitely would’ve dragged on and could’ve turned into a chore to read but because you kept it relatively brief it most certainly benefitted you in the long run. Good job.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
Thanks Para. I'll return the review when I get everyone else's done and have some time
Now, here is a little notice regarding this thread, I seem to be getting less and less time all the time to be honest and it would seem like I would need to quit the thread, and, tbh, it's still a possibility. But, for now I'm going to have to cut down on the length of the recaps. I don't want my promos to suffer so I'm going to cut down on the length of my matches, they will be written like so:
The third of match of the night is a good’un, as Kid Kash and Chris Sabin do battle, each looking to pick up momentum and consideration for a future Cruiserweight Title shot. The two go back and forth in a tremendous match up, but to the surprise of many in the audience, Kash picks up the CLEAN victory, countering the Cradle Shock, and hits Sabin with the Dead Level for the pin @ 7:55.
Credit for DDMac's thread.
Hope that people will still read the shows.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
SmackDown! Review:
MVP’S VIP Lounge: This was a good start to the show, and a great way to get MVP hyped up for his match against Hardy. You kept him in character through the whole thing. I loved the bit where they attacked Hardy. Good to see Chavo getting in there aswel.
Finlay/Palumbo: Nice opening match for Smackdown. Good length and description, I liked the way that Finlay won, so basically yeah a good match to open the show. Very good show so far.
Chavo/Vickie Segment: Nice segment here, I knew that this would happen. I will be looking forward to next weeks show and this match in particular and I will like to see where this feud goes.
Kozlov/Funaki: Basically a squash match here but I guess it’s ok to have one. I would like to see where you take Kozlov as he is a good and useful rising talent.
Batista Interview: Nice little promo here with Batista, I guess he has a mini feud with Undertaker and Edge going? A small promo anyway but you are in recapping mode so again It’s fine.
Umaga/Big Show: Good match here, again nice description, and a nice length. I liked the bit at the end were Estrada announced that Umaga was now on ECW! Is Big Show on their aswel? Anyway nice match and looking forward to this feud developing.
Vickie/Kenny Segment: Well nothing special here just a basic promo, I would like to see more of Kenny. Your right he is a rising talent like others. I think he should have a push and I think he deserves one.
Diva's Tag: Good match, don’t really like diva matches, again just the right length and good detail and description used in this match. Well done.
Edge Segment: Very good promo here form Edge It is very well I guess WWE like but It just makes your BTB great you take everything and through It all in. Brilliant, but I have a feeling that they will be back for the main event. Just a little feeling!
Kenny/Kofi: Another nice match here. It’s good to see cruzerweights on Smackdown; I always used to like that division on Smackdown so I hope you can bring it back. Nice to see Kofi win but I still think both Kenny and Kofi need a push.
Big Show Interview: I wonder what this agreement is but I’ll have to wait and see. You have again developed feuds on your shows well. That’s a thing I think your brilliant at which I have pointed out in other reviews. Anyway nice promo.
Main Event: I knew that Edge wouldn’t go; knew it! Nice match though, again you put some nice description into it even though It was quite a short match as It’s recapped.
Overall: Even though this was a recapped version It seems like a mini-full version so well done with that. I enjoyed all of your feuds and promos and ovcorse matches but your promos and segments are coming along well. Like all of your shows you put detail in even though it is in recap, I really do like your shows. The only thing I think you should work on is the length of your matches. And then you will be one of the best bookers on here. Really well done mate and you sure did deliver since you were banned and you couldn’t post shows or anything. Great comeback show. Again one of the best shows I have read in quite a while and especially one of the best recapped shows I have ever read. You are good at recapped shows and I realise why you prefer them. For the last time a really well deserved well done! 9.75/10

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment

The Segregate
Tonight when the superstars of Monday Night RAW roll into Rosemount, Illinois we can expect to be thrilled, as we are only 6 days away from the following PPV of WrestleMania 24; Backlash.
Tonight, John Bradshaw Layfield will have to pick a segregate to face WWE Champion, Randy Orton's segregate, and if JBL's segregate wins he will get to face Orton on the RAW following Backlash; Just a week before the annual WWE Draft!
Who will JBL and Orton pick? A better question might be if Orton can even tell JBL tonight since he was basically attacked by John Cena and his Backlash opponent, Shawn Michaels (who was special guest referee).
Chris Jericho hosts the Highlight Reel tonight, and his guest is none other than one of his opponents last week, Paul Burchill. Whats going to go down when the vicious Englishman goes face to face with a man who holds something he wants: The intercontinental championship.
Mr. Kennedy is in action tonight and will be looking to gain some momentum heading into Backlash when he faces Mr. Money In The Bank, CM Punk for the money in the bank briefcase.
Do NOT miss all of this and more with only 6 days to go till Backlash when Monday Night RAW comes to you from Rosemount, Illinois, 9 PM GMT.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
First of all, I haven´t been following your thread so excuse me for any mistake.
V.I.P Lounge: What a great way to start the show. I tought they where both in character, the narration was also outstanding and everything worked. This is the first thing I´ve ever read from your thread and its already looking very good. I hope the rest of the show is this good.
Finlay/Palumbo: I tought the match was very realistic. Nice interaction with Hornswoggle. If these two are feuding or are about to, then puting Finlay over clean was a mistake but I don´t really care for Palumbo so its all good.
Vickie/Chavo Backstage: This was the obvious decision to make and Im looking forward to this match next week. I hope Matt Hardy doesnt get beat up tough.
Kozlov/Funaki: Well, a match happened and Kozlov won. That´s it.
Batista Backstage: This was short and right to the point. Im glad you made Batista look focus for his Main Event match instead of having him said "This is for the fans, me and Taker are going to give everything!".
Umaga/Big Show: I have mixed feelings about this one. The match seemed hurried, I would like a brawl between the two instead of a match. The match itslef was good but Im confused about Estrada being GM and Umaga´s manager. Maybe you have a good idea behind this.
Dykstra/Vickie: Good segment, I´ll have to wait and see who his opponent is. I don´t think he´s going to win tough.
Divas Tag Team Match: A good match to showcase the heels. Don´t know if theres a divas feud but it was a good segment.
Edge Promo: Typical Edge promo. It was good but maybe too short. Don´t really think that Edge is not going to be involved in the Main Event. My prediction is that Edge will help Batista win or beat up Taker after the match.
Dykstra/Kingston: I knew that Dykstra wasn´t winning. Glad to see Kingston going over but I hope you find something for Kenny Dykstra.
Big Show Interview: Intriguing segment with Big Show. Im glad this wasn´t a Umaga win but a feud also. Looking forward to it.
Main Event: Good match, I knew Edge was going to cost Undertaker the match but you didnt made Undertaker look weak wich is great. Im a big fan of Taker and Edge but Im going to predict that Taker wins and retains the title at Backlash.
I really enjoyed reading the show. Its not too long and not too short and the narration is outstanding. I´ll be reading for sure.

Re: Lashley ™ Presents: World Wrestling Entertainment
Monday Night RAW; April 21st, 2008; Rosemount, Illinois

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the usual video package when it finishes the camera focuses on the stage area where we are greeted with a beautiful pyrotechnic display. The crowd begin to boo instantly as the music of JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELD hits and he makes his way to the ring in his white stretch limo. His driver gets out and opens the door for him, JBL makes his way to the ring and asks for a microphone and is given one.
The crowd continue booing but JBL ignores them and starts talking regardless of the booing. He says that two weeks ago Randy Orton attacked him because he knew that JBL "The Wrestling God" proved the biggest threat to his title. The crowd begin to boo as JBL smirks, he continues by saying he wants redemption - And he's gonna' get it.
He says that he has to pick a segregate so he says he has already chosen his...Himself he smirks and then demands for Randy Orton come out and name his segregate. JBL and the fans wait anxiously for someone to come out...And someone does...But it's not Randy Orton - no....It's RAW General Manager, WILLIAM REGAL....The crowd boo the RAW GM and he looks at the fans in disgust. He informs JBL that Randy Orton is too hurt to be out here tonight to name who he would have chosen to be his segregate. JBL looks pissed as does the fans BUT William Regal says he knows who Orton would have chosen...SHAWN MICHAELS! JBL looks even more pissed off as the crowd cheer.
{ Commerical }
In the first match of the night CARLITO takes on HARDCORE HOLLY. HH is looking for a win over the Carribean bad ass as his partner Cody Rhodes was beat last week by Santino. 'Lito dominates some stages of the match but HH manages to put him away with the Alamaba Slam @ 8:35
After the match SANTINO MARRELLA runs down the ramp he slides into the ring and mouths off a HH allowing Carlito to get back up and hit the BACKCRACKER! 'Lito and Santino do a beatdown on the Veteran before his partner CODY RHODES runs down the ramp to his aid, Santino and 'Lito scatter from the ring.
{ Commerical }
MR. KENNEDY comes to the ring recieving boos from the crowd, he has a smug look on his face as he enters the ring and recieves his microphone from up above. He seems comfortable on the microphone as he begins to talk about how last year HE SHOULD HAVE BECAME CHAMPION but he was robbed of his money in the bank briefcase by EDGE the crowd instantly boo at the mention of the 'Rated R Superstar'. He says at Backlash he WILL win back the money in the bank briefcase and teases that he isn't going to till Wrestlemania 25 to cash it in.
In the second match of the night KK takes on Murdoch, Kennedy dominates the match with Murdoch getting in little to no offense on the loudmouth. KK hits the Greenbay Plunge on Murdoch before finishing him off with the Mic-Check @ 4:21
{ Commerical }
A video airs promoting the WWE Annual Draft which is set to be held on the second RAW after Backlash { 5th May, 2008 }.
Another video follows showing highlights of the career of JEFF HARDY it says "JEFF HARDY RETURNING TO RAW...SOON"
Backstage Todd Grisham is standing by with JBL, he asks JBL why he chose himself to be his segregate, JBL says that he is a 'Wrestling God' and that he is the best man to get the job done, he lays into Orton saying that he thought he would have chose himself also, but Orton is too much of a coward. Todd tries to defend Orton telling JBL that Orton is too hurt to be here, JBL looks at him and walks off.
In the third 'match' of the night The Big Show takes on a much, much, much smaller Super Crazy. Not one to be put down Super Crazy immediately runs at The Big Show and starts hitting him with kicks, punches, everything he can think of. The Big Show doesn't even flinch and it doesn't look like it's hurt him at all. He dismantles Super Crazy and hits him wi | |
