Smackdown looks like it'll be good. And I really wonder what superstar will go to ECW to bring it up that much to have it on the same level.

And, I just saved your ass . Get at me on MSN when SD! is up, Kay?

Nahh, it's got nothing to do with the draft. He's just switching shows, you'll see what I mean when it's up.

And wow guys, I never expected this many comments in such short time, thanks. If you guys have BTB's PM them to me please so I can leave feedback as a return for the comments, and if you review my SmackDown! I'll return the review.

SmackDown! will be up later today, hopefully will get some more comments before that.

Looking forward to Smackdown. Being lengthy doesn't matter at all, as long as the quality is there.

Friday Night SmackDown!; April 18th, 2008; Illinois, Chicago

"Enjoy Your Meal"

Friday Night SmackDown! starts with it's usual video package getting everyone hyped up for what will be an amazing SmackDown! We come to ringside to see MVP's VIP Lounge set inside the ring as the crowd begin to boo as the United States Champion makes his way to the ring in a white suit with his medallions and necklaces handing down from his neck.
His bodyguard lifts the rope up for him to allow him access as MVP thanks him, he already has a microphone in his hand as he climbs the steps and gets into the ring.
MVP gets some cheap heat to start off with by calling Chicago Bears the worst American Football Team he has ever been forced to witness. He then continues onto a more serious matter; Matt Hardy challenging him for his United States Championship at Backlash.
He starts a verbal assault on the challenger calling him the least successful of the Hardy brothers, the crowd are booing the fuck out of MVP as he continues to lay into Matt Hardy. MVP tells Hardy that when they were tag team champions together he seen how bad Hardy in the ring. He had to lay witness to a washed up tag team superstar trying to compete on the level with Montel Vontavious Porter.
Just as it looks as if MVP can manage to lay into Matt further the challenger's music hits to a great reception. Matt walks down to the ring in a Hardyz logo T-Shirt and his usual camouflage jeans, Hardy looks at MVP whilst standing behind the rope which the bodyguard has yet to lift up. Hardy stares at the bodyguard as he then lifts up the rope allowing Hardy access to the ring.
Hardy slides into the ring as MVP starts backing up and saying "Wo, wo, wo, no need for any trouble" which is a completely different attitude to what he had when Hardy was in the back. Hardy smiles and then says "The least successful of the Hardy brothers?" the crowd boo as MVP nods, Hardy says that he may not of had any world title reigns but neither has MVP or Jeff, so he struggles to see how he is the least successful. MVP buts in and tells Hardy that he would have had world title reigns if it wasn't for Teddy Long cheating him out of chances all the time when he was SmackDown! General Manager.
The crowd continue booing MVP as he continues looking for excuses as to why he hasn't had a world title reign. Hardy then flat out asks MVP why in the hell is he the guest on the talk show? MVP looks at him and says "The talk show?"...He pauses and says "Its the V.I.P Longue" for people like me who are better than YOU! MVP points at Hardy, he then says and you and points at a fan and does this several times, before Matt Hardy shuts him up by telling him he doesn't want MVP to ask questions, he wants MVP to listen to him, he says come Backlash he WILL be United States Champion!
Matt looks the leave the ring as MVP grabs him from behind and spins him around before hitting him with a left hand, Hardy drops to the floor but quickly gets up as MVP starts to undo his buttons on his wrists, Hardy glares at MVP before running at him and tackling him to the floor, the pair begin to brawl , Hardy gets a advantage and stands up before stamping on MVP waiting for him to get up, Chavo Guerrero runs down the ramp and slides into the ring, unkown to Matt Hardy. MVP gets up and smirks as he sees Chavo standing behind Hardy, MVP swings at Hardy who gets planted by a low blow by Chavo as the punch connects with his head at the same time.
The pair continue the assault on Hardy as the crowd boo like hell, MVP hits the Playmaker on Hardy as Chavo leaps to the top rope and hits the Five Star Frog Splash.

Finlay vs. Chuck Palumbo
Palumbo has been dominating the match thus far, using his power and aggression to hurt Finlay with little Hornswoggle at the side of the ring covering his eyes and nearly crying. Palumbo likes manically at Hornswoggle as he slams Finlay to the floor, but takes it to the next level as he gets out of the ring and grabs a hold of little Hornswoggle who is calling for 'daddy' as the crowd boo at Palumbo, just as Palumbo looks to do a move to Hornswoggle Finlay is up and screams at Palumbo calling him a coward and telling him to get into the ring, Palumbo throws Hornswoggle away like some trash by his hair and slides into the ring as him and Finlay brawl. The brawl continues for several minutes but Palumbo pays for upsetting Hornswoggle as the little guy throws the shillelagh at Finlay and causes a distraction for Finlay to hit Palumbo with the shillelagh across the knee and then the head. Finlay covers Palumbo for the win.
Winner: Finlay via pinfall @ 8:32

Finlay and Hornswoggle leave the ring before dancing on the ramp outside the ring as Chuck Palumbo looks on getting up and throwing a fit in the ring kicking the ring ropes and shouting at the SmackDown! referee.

When SmackDown! returns we are in general manager, Vickie Guerrero's office where she is speaking to someone on the phone. Chavo walks in and starts talking as Vickie pulls a disapproving face, she tells whoever she is talking to that she will have to call them back. She hangs up the phone and asks Chavo what he wants, Chavo tells Vickie that him and MVP have a little idea for a match for her tonight, Vickie tells him she's listening...Chavo requests a 2 on 1 handicap match; him and MVP against Matt Hardy...Next week on Friday Night SmackDown!, Vickie smiles and then...Accepts! She tells Chavo to inform MVP.

Vladimir Kozlov vs. Funaki
The squash match of the night, as Vladimir Kozlov takes on the jobber of the company, Funaki. After about a minute of grueling punishment Kozlov picks up Funaki and slams him into the ring post again and again, Funaki looks out of it as Kozlov stares and screams. He picks Funaki up and throws him against the ring ropes, when Funaki rebounds back he is met with the head of Kozlov and driven to the floor, Kozlov covers for the win.
Winner:Vladimir Kozlov via pinfall @ 2:18

Backstage Josh Matthews is accompanied by Batista who takes on The Undertaker in tonights main event. Josh is about to ask Batista a question when Batista cuts him off and tells him he isn't going to answer questions. Batista looks into the camera and says Edge...'Taker it doesn't matter which of one you win at Backlash because after Backlash I'm coming after the guy who won the World title. The crowd cheer at Batista's intensity as he walks away leaving Josh Matthews standing there.

The Big Show is standing in the ring as the crowd cheer for him, he has a microphone already and brings it to his lips. He talks about how Umaga has become a coward recently attacking him when he has been outnumbered or from behind, he says Umaga has made a mistake in doing that though as he has made the tallest athlete in the world today very angry. He then calls out Umaga..
Umaga makes his way to the ring accompanied by his former manager Armando Estrada! The Big Show looks confused as does the rest of the fans, he asks what the hell Estrada is doing out here, but Estrada tells him he will find out after Umaga beats him.

The Big Show vs. Umaga /W Estrada
The Big Show and Umaga get into a brawl from the very beginning, the referee, doesn't even try to stop it because he is afraid he will get beat up on. The Big Show constantly keeps looking at Estrada who smirks, but The Big Show's lack of concentration on Umaga costs him as the 'Samoan Bulldozer' attacks The Big Show from behind as Estrada distracts the referee, Umaga low blows The Big Show and then hits the Samoan Spike on the big guy as he drops to the mat, Estrada lifts up his cigar and snaps it like what he used to do as Umaga goes to the top rope and hits a Diving Headbutt. Umaga covers The Big Show for the win.
Winner: Umaga via pinfall @ 7:21

Estrada smirks as he slides into the ring and lifts Umaga's hand up in victory. Estrada who gets a microphone from one of the workers laughs in the microphone before saying that he is STILL ECW General Manager...But is now once again Umaga's manager, he smirks as the crowd boo, he then announces that as of today Umaga is a ECW Superstar!! Umaga shouts stuff in Samoan but seems happy as Estrada looks at the Big Show and laughs.

{ Commercials }

We are backstage in Vickie Guerrero's office for the second time tonight, she is looking through some papers when Kenny Dykstra walks in as the crowd boo in the background, she looks up at him as he says, look Vickie I haven't had a match in a while and I'm a future main eventer in this buisness, I think you need to give me a match so I can show everyone just how good I am! Vickie sighs as asks if she grants him a match will he leave her alone, he nods so she grants him a match.

Victoria & Maryse vs. Michelle McCool & Cherry
The heels dominate in the early going with Maryse being the legal lady against Cherry. Cherry looks ring shy until Maryse pulls her hair which seems to make Cherry a little angry. Cherry starts to elbow Maryse' gut and then pounds away with some punches as the crowd cheer her on. She tags in her partner Michelle McCool and she clears house. The faces dominate for a few minutes before the ending comes. Michelle isn't the legal lady no more and is standing on the outside of the ring, Victoria drop kicks her and she falls to the mat with a sickening thud. Victoria and Maryse smirk as they use the opportunity to beat up on Cherry, Victoria is the legal lady and hits the Widows Peak for the win.
Winners: Victoria & Maryse via pinfall @ 8:48

{ Commercials }

The crowd boo immensely as we are shown the 'Rated R Superstar' Edge standing backstage, he smirks before saying, listen 'Taker tonight you shouldn't worry about me or La Familia as well, I'm taking Vickie out for a meal as she is tired with all the work, and Chavo has a match and Hawkins and Ryder will be driving us there tonight. But I would still worry about Batista as he's after the title you have - or should I say the title I'll have at Backlash. Edge walks smiling as the crowd proceed to boo him.

***
Cut to ringside
***

Kenny Dykstra vs. Kofi Kingston
Dykstra doesn't look to happy as the undefeated Kofi Kingston is revealed as his opponent for tonight. Kofi looks to get some momentum in for Backlash by getting a quick victory but Dykstra kicks out. The match is very fast paced as both men used a wide arsenal of highflying moves. The finish comes when Dykstra looks for a clothesline on Kofi, Kofi ducks and waits for Dykstra to turn around - when he does he is met with the Buzzaw Kick, Kofi covers for the win.
Winner: Kofi Kingston @ 5:23

{ Commercials }

Josh Matthews is backstage with The Big Show who is holding his neck and his head which are obviously causing him distress since the match with Umaga earlier tonight. Matthews asks The Big Show how he is feeling, The Big Show looks at him in disbelief and says well what do you think? I've been attacked again by Umaga - no CHEATED by Umaga! But, I'm happy about one thing, I can get to Umaga a hella' lot easier now he is on ECW since SmackDown! and ECW have this little agreement thing. So Umaga....Don't be surprised if you see me on ECW on Tuesday... The Big Show walks away.

The Undertaker © vs. Batista
Non Title Match
Batista looks to get a win against 'Taker which could get him in the title hunt, but 'Taker knows Batista all to well as they two have a long history. After several counters and near falls, The Undertaker gets control of the match locking in the Triangle Choke, but Batista manages to get to rope. The match is then a pretty even contest for the rest of the match, the finish came when Batista goes to spear The Undertaker who side steps the move causing the referee to take the spear! Batista turns around and is Tombstoned by The Undertaker!! The Undertaker hooks the leg but there's nobody to cover! 'Taker gets up and slides his hand through his hair looking in disbelief, we see Edge sneek into the ring in the background and Spears The Undertaker as he turns around!!! Edge was here all along god dammit! He drags Batista's lifeless body over The Undertakers as the referee comes to and counts the pin!
Winner: Batista via pinfall @ 12:26

Michael Cole says that Edge was here all along and it was all a plan, he goes crazy and starts the hard sell on the World Heavyweight Championship match at Backlash. Edge is in the ring and looks at The Undertaker and smirks as he lifts The Undertaker's title in the air.
Michael Cole and Jonathon Coachman then begin the hard sell for the rest of the matches on at Backlash, then then wish us goodnight.

RKO777's Smackdown Review

First of all, I thought that the MVP lounge was brilliant and I cannot wait to see Hardy face MVP. This was brilliantly done as all hell was breaking loose. Chavo coming at the end was good too as it was unexpected. I want to see what you are going to do with this fued with Hardy and MVP.

Finlay/Palumbo: It was very like what would happen in real WWE and it was an alright match. That damn hornswoggle lol. I expected something like that to happen as it always does in Finlay's matches. Well atleast the better man won. I don't like Palumbo anyway. It was an alright match.

I liked how Chavo came in to request a match. I can't wait to read next week's smackdown and especially this match. Good way to hype up next week's smackdown!

Kozlov/Funaki: Another typical Kozlov match and I dont like how you still making him in squash matches like in real. I think he should now face better and tougher guys and hopefully you will make him lose lol.

This was quite a good segment and the only thing I hate is that its still these three guys but you probably are better at writing quality matches so I think you will make me enjoy matches involving these three all the time. Good segment nonetheless.

Big Show/Umaga: Brilliant match and segments. Estrada is back as Umaga's manager is really good. I want to know how Umaga will do in ECW.

Dykstra promo was good and I also want to see how you make him a great future superstar. I like how you trying to build up stars.

The divas match was alright and I expected these two to win anyway. I liked how you make Victoria use that window's peak and she won it again with it.

Edge promo was great as it is typical of him on doing things like this. Again, I like how you are using some of the superstars and these lot are one of them.

Dykstra/Kingston: It was an average match and Kingston is really a great potential and I hope you continue building him up and face some of the bigger stars.

The big show promo was good as Umaga and him will have a great fued.

Taker/Batista: The best match as it was very unpredictable what was going to happen next. I liked how Edge came from nowhere and speared taker and helped Batista win. I expect a brilliant match at Backlash.

Overall Show: I enjoyed it. Well done. 8/10.

VIP Lounge: Liked this segment. A lot. To be honest, I love all MVP segments in a BTB if it's in character, and this was which made it so fun to read, atleast for me. I like how Hardy and MVP put over the United States Championship match for Backlash.

Finlay vs Palumbo: Liked the interaction with Hornswoggle involved. Glad Finlay went over.

Handicap Announcement: Like this. I was thinking a tag team match to be honest.

Batista Interview: Nice statement by Batista in this one. I like the intensity in it, even I could feel it just reading it.

Umaga vs Big Show: I'd like to see this match in real life honestly. Nice way for Umaga to go over, doesn't make Big Show look weak to me.

Estrada Announcement: Good move putting Umaga on ECW.

Divas Tag Match: Nice little match here. Glad Cherry got in some offense as she usually does. Nice way for the heels to win, which I'm happy that the heels did indeed win.

Kingston vs Dykstra: Glad Kingston went over in this one.

Big Show Interview: Another good statement. I hope Big Show goes to ECW and takes on Umaga in... *cough* Extreme Rules *cough* :P

Batista vs The Undertaker: Well, this was a good way to get Batista back in the title hunt at Backlash with Edge's help. It'd be a great match too, good way to cap off Smackdown! with Edge holding up the World Heavyweight Championship.

Overall: This was a good show. I read this BTB, but it's the first time I'm leaving feedback. I liked the MVP VIP Lounge alot, it was the best promo/segment of the night in my opinion and match, as you expected, Batista and The Undertaker. Liked this episode a lot.
