At the opening, i expected a promo, nevertheless, a fairly good match with Holly taking on Brian Kendrick. Aftermath shows that Holly really wants to hurt the team members of London/Kendrick.
Regal promo was ok. But a little more than that is appreciated. Hey, careful with the spelling - "no make devious acts". I think it is "no more...".
Jericho/Umaga match was good and Umaga rolling away when Jericho attempts the move was slightly off realism because in the real WWE, Umaga often gets the shots. And the ending was surprising as Jericho won by a lionsault. Umaga would need more than that, IMO. But, overall, a good match!
The aftermath was fairly done as well.
The Randy Orton promo was a bit comical, thanks to Maria. Orton certainly, did not buy it off. It hypes out his match with Kennedy.
Orton/Kennedy: A good match, the best so far. Nice to see that Orton was pretty much the real one attempting RKO whenever in position. Kennedy winning seemed great for their feud. Nice match.
Paul London/Cody Rhodes match:
This was nicely done with the cruiserweights. But hey, too many fairly won battles tonight. So, try for some surprises and cheating to show the real heel talents. Good one. At Backlash however, I wish the Champs retain the title. The Hooliganz are so good at their young age!
Candice/Melina segment + match: Hey, the promo was ok. But hey, unless pre planned, I am surprised to see them get on right away. Usually, guys get to do that. But this was a nice one and ma girl Candice takes the victory. Beth Phoenix vs Candice should be good.
Strong words by CEna. Some comments but i will save it till the end....
Regal vs Cena (main event)
MOTN! Frankly, a very good one, IMO!!!! The ending was also nice with Cena taking the victory after a well placed F-U. The aftermath was good and wondered why Kennedy raised Regal's hand.
So, man, promos can be done a little long and more creative. You are doing it nice, but practise it more. Matches are very nice and i am sure you will turn out to be a great match writer. A little more color (see that it doesn't affect readers visually, if does, then dont do it. This is better)
This week on ECW we have an awesome Main event that is set to deliver, Kane will tag up with CM punk to take on John Morrison and Chavo Guerrero in prepartion for their matches at Backlash, Who will gain momentum going into Backlash, tune in to find out!

This week the tournament continues with Benjamin taking on Little Guido while Dreamer takes on Elijah Burke, The winners of these two matches will meet at Backlash in an Extreme Rules match.

Knox now picks up Kofi and goes for the lariat again, Kofi ducks and hits a dropkick on Knox. Knox gets up quickly but runs into another Kofi Dropkick, Cover, 1...kickout. Kofi now picks up Knox and hit’s a swinging neck breaker on him, Kofi Climbs to the top rope and waits for Knox to get up. Knox gets to his feet, Kofi off the top rope and nails missile dropkick, Cover, 1...2.. Broken up by Layla.
Kelly Kelly comes in the ring now and starts a cat fight with Layla! The ref is trying to seperate them, Kofi gets to his feet slowly but Knox creeps up from behind and hits a low blow on Kofi! Knox with a cover, The ref is still seperating the cat fight, Knox walks over and pulls Layla away from kelly. The ref now sends Kelly back to the apron. Knox now turns around to walk over the Kofi but runs right into a Trouble in Paradise! Cover, 1...2...3!!!

Burke turns Dreamer over and starts pounding on his back again, Burke now locks in a rear chinlock on Dreamer, Dreamer is trying to fight his way out of it, Dreamer fights his way to his feet, Dreamer elbows Burke in the gut 3 times, Burke breaks the hold and Dreamer bounces off the ropes, Burke goes for a Clothesline but Dreamer ducks and hits a neckbreaker.
Tazz: That could be the turning point in the match!
Both men slowly get up, Burke trys for a right hand on dreamer but Dreamer blocks, dream then kicks Burke in the gut, Dreamer goes for a DDT but Burke rolls out of it and Rolls up Dreamer, Burke holds onto the tights for leverage, 1...2..kickout! Both men get up now and Dreamer trys to punch Burke but Burke knees him in the gut, Burke bounces off the ropes but Dreamer hits him with a backbody drop, Burke straight back up but runs into a one man flapjack, Dreamer now picks up Burke and hits a DDT, Cover, 1...2..kickout! Dreamer picks up Burke but Burke straight away rakes the eyes, Burke now irish whips Dreamer to the corner, He turns Dreamer over and starts pounding him in the back. Burke Moves back a bit and goes for the running knee lift into the corner, Dreamer dodges it, Dreamer rolls Burke up, 1...2...3!

The ref calls for the bell.
After the match The Miz and Bam Neely come down, John Morrison and The Miz beat up CM punk while Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely beat up Kane.
Adamle: This is dispicable!
Tazz: Hey, You gotta do what you can to gain the advantage, And if that means beating up your oponent before a big match, Then its fine by me.
Adamle: What a disgusting way to finish ECW, Will Punk and Kane be able to recover in time for Backlash in 5 days time, We will wait and see.

The big Show grabs Khali and he headbutts him, Khali is sent back to the ropes, Khali off the ropes and runs straight into a Chokeslam from the Big show! Cover, 1...2...3!

Jesse and Moore are in the ring together now, They are trading right hands, Jesse gets on top of Moore and locks on a front facelock, Jesse picks up Moore and places him on the top rope. Jesse gets up their with Moore, Jesse trys to go for a superPlex but Moore blocks and starts punching Jesse, Jesse releases his grip and Moore sends Jesse flying to the ground, Moore now stands on the top Turnbuckle, jesse slowly gets up, moore with a flying Crossbody on Jesse! Edge comes out now and throws Taker into the ring post, He throws taker back into the ring, Out comes Christian! Edge is pounding on Christian Now, Christian and edge are arguing in the ring, Christian goes to clothesline Edge but Edge ducks! Christian ends up taking out Undertaker!!
Edge quickly gets out of the ring clapping and laughing, Christian is standing their in Shock as Undertaker sits up and grabs Christian by the throat, Chokeslam on Christian! Undertaker signals to Edge that he will R.I.P.

Tommy Dreamer vs Shelton Benjamin, Extreme rules - ECW TV Championship.
This past month on ECW a new title was being created. It was all an idea from the general manager Armando Alehandro Estrada, Over the past 3 weeks we have had amazing matches with 8 men putting their body's on the line But it has come down to 2 men. Shelton Benjamin and Tommy Dreamer. It would be an understatement to say that the stipulation of Extreme rules favours Tommy Dreamer but dont count Shelton Benjamin out, He has been on the rise in recent weeks and could this be the time for the Gold standard to live up to his hype. We will find out Sunday.
MVP (C) vs Matt hardy - Us Championship.
This feud has reached boiling point and will it come to an end at Backlash? We will find out but just to recap what has happened lets take you through the journey that has been MVP vs Matt Hardy. In 2007 Matt Hardy had his eyes on the US championship but Teddy Long put them as a tag team, They wont the WWE tag titles, They were a great team but Matt Hardy was injured at The Hands of MVP just after losing the titles. MVP thought he had gotten rid of Matt Hardy once and for all Matt Hardy proved to us all that he will not die, He came back at Wrestlemania 24 and stopped MVP from winning the MITB ladder match. Over the past month Matt Hardy has formed a friendship with Jamie Noble while MVP has formed a friendship with Gregory helms, will these 2 get involved at Backlash, Tune in to find out!

Two young superstars of the WWE going at it for one prize? What else could be better? John Morrison has a chance to win the MITB briefcase after coming so close at Wrestlemania 24. Will tonight be his night? If we go on momentum John Morrison certainly has the momentum as he brutally assaulted CM punk along with The MIZ this past week on ECW. Will John Morrison Be the new MITB briefcase holder. We all know that anything can happen in the WWE and it could definently be Morrisons night. OR will the straight edge superstar prevail against the odds?
Kane (C) vs Chavo Guerrero - ECW world Championship
At Wrestlemania 24 Chavo Guerrero made history by being the first ECW champion to defend his title at a Wrestlemania, He also made history by Losing the ECW title in a short ammount of time (8 seconds). Over the past few weeks Chavo Guerrero has introduced us a new bodyguard called Bam Neely, Has beaten down kane and cost him a match by playing his entrance, But tonight their is no more shenanigans, The lights are on bright and its time for Chavo to prove to us that he can beat the big red machine.
DX & Chris Jericho vs JBL, Umaga & Santino Marella, Hardcore match
Over the past few weeks JBL and Umaga have laid down the challenge to DX after assaulting them on a one night comeback. As for Jericho and Santino, Santino tryed to insult Jericho as a guest on the highlight reel, Then DX were a guest on the highlight reel which resulted in another attack. We know that Jericho and DX havent gotten on in the past but they will put their differences aside to take on this team that has been giving them troubles. Expect violence.
Undertaker (C) vs Edge vs Christian - World heavyweight Championship
With Edge losing his title to Undertaker at Wrestlemania and Christian returning we all knew Egos would fly. No1 knew that Teddy long would be returning as full time general manager but. Thats exactly what happened when Christian returned and defeated Edge. When The Great khali caused troubly by interfering in a match between Edge and Christian for number 1 contendership the next week Teddy Long announced this as a triple threat match. This past week on Smackdown during the Cutting edge, Edge had a plan for Him and Christian to beat the Deadman down in the Main Event. It all backfired for Christian as he received a thunderous chokeslam from the Dead man. Who will prevail when egos collide at backlash?
John Cena (C) vs Mr Kennedy - WWE Championship
Over the past few weeks no1 could have predicted what has happened. For one John Cena joined forces with his long time enemy Randy Orton? Mr Kennedy became the number 1 contender and has teamed up with the general manager of Raw. Over the past few weeks both men have been trying to gain the momentum but i believe that has to go to Mr Kennedy. This past week On Raw he and Regal cleaned house on Cena and Orton and stood tall. Will be it be Kennedy standing tall come Backlash? we will find out.

JR: Welcome everybody to Backlash! Coming here tonight from the Bradley Centre in Milwaukee Wisconsin and what a show we have tonight King.
King: You’re absolutely right and it’s great to be in Milwaukee, We got a huge show that includes John Cena defending his title against Mr Kennedy.
JR: What a match that should be, But right now we head over to the Smackdown announcers!
Cole: Thankyou JR and what a night it will be, I know it’s your first Pay per View as announcer Mick, What are you looking forward to most.
Foley: I am definitely looking forward to the Triple threat for the world Heavyweight title but another match that has caught my eye is the US title bout, I’m just hoping Gregory Helms doesn’t get involved and spoils what should be a classic.
Cole: IT sure will be, let’s go over to Tazz and Mike Adamle on the ECW announcer team.
Adamle: Thanks Michael, Tonight we have Chavo trying to win back the title he lost at Wrestlemania to Kane, It should be great.
Tazz: Off the charts for sure especially after the brutal Beatdown Bam Neely, Chavo Guerrero and the Edgeheads gave Kane this past week on ECW, I don't know if Kane can come through.
Adamle: Also tonight we have John Morrison trying to win The MITB briefcase held by CM punk.
Tazz: Those two should be able to steal the show, but right now we have the crowning of a new ECW TV Champion.

Match 1: Shelton Benjamin vs. Tommy Dreamer, Extreme Rules! - For the Vacant ECW TV Title.
The match starts off when Dreamer charges at Benjamin with the Singapore Cane, Benjamin exits the ring and starts asking the ref to make Dreamer drop the cane, Dreamer does what is told and is asking Benjamin to bring it on. Benjamin slowly gets back into the ring, both men lock up with a Collar and Elbow tie up. Both men jock for position. Shelton Brings Dream to his knees and then locks on a side headlock, He gets Dreamer to his knees, Dreamer fights his way back up and pushes Benjamin to the ropes, Benjamin off the ropes and Shoulder blocks Dreamer down. Shelton Bounces off the ropes, Dreamer flips over to his Back, Shelton runs over dreamer, Dreamer gets up, Shelton off the ropes and Dreamer Hip tosses him. Shelton gets up and they stare down, they both tie up in a Collar and Elbow tie up again and Dream gets the better hand with a wrist lock, Dreamer then kicks Shelton in the gut, Dreamer bounces off the ropes and hit’s a sunset flip on Benjamin.

Both men get up and stare each other down, Dreamer and Benjamin then go to lock up but Dreamer Knees Benjamin in the gut, Dreamer Irish whips Benjamin to the ropes and backbodydrops him. Dreamer then stomps on Benjamin before rolling out of the ring, Dreamer starts searching under the ring, Dreamer pulls out a trash can full of his favourite toys, He chucks it in the ring, Dreamer then searches under the ring and grabs a stop sign, Benjamin is up and comes out of the ring, He goes up behind Dreamer but Dreamer turns around and Clobbers him over the head with the Stop sign! Dreamer then casually walks over to the ECW announce table and grabs a bottle of water, He takes a drink then hits Benja
