Re: JD SPUR Presents : WWE
Who Knew, huh?
Monday Night RAW
Monday 26th January 2009
Rogers Centre, Toronto, Ontario; Canada

Finally The Rock Has Come Back …
Monday Night RAW opens with a video package of highlights of the previous nights Royal Rumble Paper-Per-View, showing key points of all the matches as new World Champions are crowned, in Edge and The Undertaker, while a young superstar by the name of CM Punk wins the United States Title. We conclude the video with a two minute long package on the Royal Rumble, showing eliminations, returns and the final winner, the Rainbowed-Hair Warrior; Jeff Hardy. The RAW Video package plays as we roll into the arena ...
Good Ole' JR introduces us to the show and gives us the low down on tonight, including William Regal opening the show and on cue William Regal's music hits and the man from Blackpool, England heads down to the ring to big heat, panning into the crowd the camera can see a poster being held saying, “Regal Sucks ... at over the top battle Royals”. Regal gets into the ring and the usual chants of “Regal Sucks” begin and then die down before the RAW GM gives a brief introduction, saying well done to Jeff Hardy, to a big pop, and says he may not be here or not as Regal invited all SmackDown! superstars to come see a real wrestling show. He then goes onto say through gritted teeth, that as a result of Jeff Hardy, a SmackDown superstar winning the Royal Rumble that at No Way Out, Monday Night RAW will hold a Elimination Chamber to see who gets the main event spot against the WWE Champion! A pop erupts, and Regal continues, saying he thinks that people who impressed him the most last night will be given the chance in 5 qualifying matches over the next couple of weeks, King puts in the witty comment of that Regal will not be in it then. The five matches will be:
Batista vs. Shelton Benjamin
Matt Hardy © vs. Mr. Kennedy
Randy Orton vs. Kane
Umaga vs. John Morrison
Chris Jericho vs. Carlito
Well, the Canadian crowd go nuts; Regal says that two of these matches will be tonight. Suddenly chants begin of, “You Got ... Chucked Out *Clap Clap, Clap Clap Clap*. Regal's face turns to disgust, but he carries on, and announces that in the main event tonight that, the winner of the match will face The Undertaker for the WWE Championship, while the loser will be entered into the Elimination Chamber with the other five superstars, the main event tonight will be ... ... ... Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels! The Monday Night RAW GM drops the mic as again he sends the crowd into bedlam, he leaves the ring as we go to a commercial
~ {Commercial} ~
We comes back as Lillian Garcia announces the first match will be a qualifier for the Elimination Chamber match at Now Way Out, Matt Hardy, the Intercontinental Champion, versus the guy he beat last night, Mr. Kennedy.
Match #1
Matt Hardy vs. Mr. Kennedy
Elimination Chamber Qualifier Match
The crowd are very much in Hardy's favour throughout the match, and Kennedy isn't in the greatest mood after losing last night, the match is solid but nothing like last nights championship match, Ken hits a number of moves on the knee of Hardy and tries to work on in again; going back to it after the damage he did to it at the Royal Rumble, he begins to put Hardy in a Texas Cloverleaf but Hardy quickly turns it into a small package but Kennedy get the shoulder up, The match comes to an end after Hardy hits a Side Effect and then goes for the Twist of Fate but Kennedy pushes out and turns it into a Mic Check! He then pins Hardy and holds the tights of the Intercontinental Champion, to take the 1-2-3, he is in the Elimination Chamber Match!
Winner: Mr. Kennedy @ 8:41
We cut backstage to see John Morrison looking focused, but in walks in his tag team partner, The Miz. The Chick Magnet then starts to bitch at John for getting a match to be in the Elimination Chamber and says he did just as well as John last night, but Morrison quickly points out he last just under one minute, to which the crowd laughs. Miz says Morrison better be out to support him in his match against Shad tonight, but Morrison says he has to get focused, because he has moved up the food chain, and he leaves with one last line, “ ... and I'm hungry”.
We then cut back to the arena and the announce table where JR and King go over the matches for the qualifier matches with a nice little graphic for those who can't understand the two commentators . Then Trish Stratus music hits as the new Women's Champion comes down to the ring, in her home town of course, and the crowd go ape shit for her! She comes commentary for the next match, JR and King welcome her, then say they are glad to have her back. Beth Pheonix music hits as she makes her way down to big heat and then stares down Trish, she wants for her oppnent, whoever is stupid enough to challenge her ... Trish Stratus music hits and the crowd look confused, but out walks, Trish Status but she is 2ft Smaller.
Match #2
Beth Phoenix vs. Trish Status(Midget)
The Beth Phoenix Open Challenge
The match doesn't last long as Beth jokes around a bit, but the face of Trish looks to be fuming, Beth then just dominates her opponent, ending in a Gorilla Press into and Torture Rack, and then into a Powerlsam ... a truly thunderous combination ... 1-2-3!
Winner: Beth Phoenix @ 1: 37
Beth then has her hand raised but as soon as she turns around Trish is in her face and the two begin to brawl and fist are flying, legs are waving, and quickly referees burst down to the ring and try to spit them up, just as they grab Stratus, she breaks free and takes down Beth, the crowd are going nuts as she lays into the Glamazon! Eventually the ref's drag Trish off up the ramp as we cut to a commercial we can she the lip of Beth Phoenix bleeding as she waves off the referees, the feud is beginning to boil. We then go to a commercial with Trish screaming at Beth ...
~ {Commercial} ~
We then cut backstage, to William Regal's office, as he is talking to Mr. McMahon on the phone, and he seems to be kissing the ass of the boss. As he puts the phone down, Y2J, Chris Jericho walks in, the crowd pops while the face of the GM turns to a grimace, he asks what Chris has to complain about ... but before he can, Jericho asks him how his ass is ... confused, Regal asks why ... Jericho says that it must of hurt when he was tossed over the top rope, by Y2J, he cracks a smile while Regal doesn't look best pleased. Regal then quickly comes back to say that next week when Chris Jericho takes on Carlito, for a place in the Elimination Chamber, that Carlito will have a No-disqualification stipulation but if Jericho decided to use a weapon, that he will be disqualified, Regal then cracks a smile as the crowd boo the shit out of him, we cut back to the arena with a zoom in on Chris' face.
Back in the arena it all seems very quiet until .... “IF YOU SMEEEEEEELLLLL ....” . Biggest pop of the night hits as the Great One, makes his long and waited return to the TV's of wrestling fans, he makes a meal of the cheers, and gets into the ring. Rocky makes a couple of catch phrases such as “Finally the Rock has come back ...” He goes onto explain why he has come back, and that is a something that you will see it in next couple of weeks over on SmackDown!. He then apologies for not being there when WWE needed him ,and this is all going to make up for it, he says while he is disappointed he didn't win the Royal Rumble, he now can concentrate on why he came back ... but before completing the sentence the music of Randy Orton hits as he makes his way to the top of the ramp, he says that he doesn't care that Rock has come back, cause well last night he didn't do so well, and then calls Rocks comeback a failure ... the crowd boo as The Rock raises an eyebrow to Randy and then Randy goes onto talk ... but Rock tells him to Shut Up and Know His Roll! Rock says he recognise him, he was that little kid who won a title or something, Candy Pornton, no wait that's something else .. Orton then tries to tell him but, Rock tells him “It doesn't matter what your name is ...” .. Orton quickly fires back that well Rock should know him, cause last night he was the one who knocked his Hollywood Ass out the ring! Rock says, well Shandy if you wanna go now, lets go ... Randy shakes his head but the crowd begin to pop ... why?
Rock smiles but Orton doesn't get it ... standing behind him is The Animal, Batista, the guy Orton illegally eliminated last night! Batista scares the crap out of Randy as then lays a right into him, which sends him flying down the ramp, the two go at it and Tista seems to be winning, Rock just watches not wanting to get involved but before long Randy has help, here comes JBL! JBL knocks The Animal down and now Rock gets involved and all four men going at it; the crowd are loving it! Before it can lead anywhere, William Regals music hits as he stops anything for going down, he says this is not how we act on RAW, and announces that tonight, Batista and The Rock will go back and find a third member, and JBL and Randy Orton will go to the back to find a third member and we are going to have a good old 6-Man Tag Team Match! We go to another commercial.
~ {Commercial} ~
We come back to see JBL and Randy Orton enter a locker room, and then the camera looks at the name on the locker room, it's the World Heavyweight Champion, Edge! The next match is The Miz vs. one half of the tag team champions, Shad. Both make there way to the ring, the only difference is that Shad has his tag team partner with him while, The Miz does not.
Match #3
The Miz vs. Shad © w/ JTG
The match is not long and is really a filler, Miz looks to be in control of the big man, but he makes his way back into it, by hitting a couple of big boots, and big time clotheslines, the match turns again when Shad is down in the corner and Miz looks for a big boot to his face but JTG holds the leg of Miz long enough to allow Shad to time his move perfectly. Shad ends the match with a Full Nelson Slam, now named The Brooklyn Slam, in which Miz gets big air, he makes the cover, for the 1-2-3 and the victory.
Winner: Shad @ 6:12
The match ends and in bursts JTG with the titles and The Miz rolls out of the ring, but in the corner of the screen we see two guys jump over the rail with hoodies on, and hit the ring to take down the tag team champions, covering their faces, they hit the champs down with hard moves, one throws big Shad over the top rope before the other one hits JTG in the stomach and hits of the ropes, then hitting the Scissors Kick! Cryme Tyme are out the ring and their championships lay in the centre of the ring as the mysterious attacks grab them and raise them aloft over their heads with one hand while, with the other hand fling of the hood, to revel themselves to be Ken Doane and Ted DiBiase Jr. The two them leave the titles over the bodies of Shad and JTG before we head to the backstage, to see Todd Grisham. He has Triple H with him ...
Todd asks the questions about last night and if he feels Shawn Michaels is any of a threat for him? HHH replies by saying that last night if it wasn't for that little rat Rey Mysterio that he would be World Heavyweight Champion, and on cue in walks Rey Mysterio, he says that he thought that it was only right that if you tried to cheat to win that you lost. Rey stares into the eyes of Triple H who just tells him to go away as this is his TV time, not best pleased, Mysterio says that if he wasn't still hurting for the back injury Triple H gave him that he would knocked Triple H right here right now, but he will just have to wait. Rey walks away from Triple H, which was a bad move as Triple H just clobbers him in the back and then stomps on his back. He then turns to Todd and tells him that if Shawn wants a fight, then he's got the right person for it! We go to a commercial, but before it goes to goes to the commercial, a little promo plays of the rivalry of Shawn Michaels and Triple H.
~ {Commercial} ~
The music of Umaga hits the arena as we return to big heat as Lillian Garcia introduces the match as an Elimination Qualifier Match for Now Way Out. Out next is John Morrison who gets a mixed reaction and looks more focused than ever.
Match #4
Umaga vs. John Morrison
Elimination Chamber Qualifier
The match begins with Umaga being surprised by the pure athleticism of Morrison who hits some big moves, for example a spinning heel kick and then taking the big man down with a Russian Leg Sweep, he continues to hit some big moves until he makes the mistake of going up top and then after trying for a aerial move, he is hit with a Spinning Side Walk Slam! The Samoan Bulldozer dominated a large proportion of the match, hitting big combos of kicks and punches, while hitting rib shattering moves like the Samoan Drop.
The match turns once again when Umaga goes for a Banzai Drop, Morrison quickly moves and Umaga quickly hits the mat, Morrison lines up a kick to a back and hits it, he picks up Umaga, but The Bulldozer pushes him away into the referee, who takes the bump well. The Miz then appears from the curtain with a chair in hand, he gets up to the apron and looks to get ready to hit Morrison. Umaga looks to whip Morrison over to The Miz but Morrison somehow reverse it and Miz, hits Umaga over the head with the chair, and then Morrison rolls up the Samoan Bulldozer! The ref is now back up, and makes the slow count ... 1 - - 2 - - 3! Morrison wins, with the accidental assist from The Miz.
Winner: John Morrison @ 9:02
Miz can't believe it and Morrison rolls out the ring quickly, Umaga looks puzzled and sees Miz shocked on the apron with a chair in his hand, in a flash, The Samoan Bulldozer grabs Miz flips him over the top rope and then hits the Samoan Spike, on the ramp John Morrison lets off a smirk as the crowd cheer, a turn perhaps?
We cut backstage to see The Rock and Batista going into a locker room, and then a few seconds later, walking out with ... Mick Foley, we now have got the full match! The Rock, Batista & Mick Foley vs. Edge, Randy Orton and JBL. And JR tells us that the match is next!
The music of all six guys plays as they match is about to start, Foley and Orton start this one ...
Match #5
The Rock, Batista & Mick Foley vs. Edge, Randy Orton & JBL
The match is like a normal tag match with the heels dominating one guy, in this case Foley is that guy, he is attack from all three men, never getting near the tag, but Foley is against JBL and hits a right hand, then bounces himself off the rope to hits a shoulder block. Then from nowhere hits the Double-Arm DDT! And both men are down looking to make tags ... HOT TAG! In comes The Animal and Edge! 'Tista hits short arm clotheslines to all three men, and then a spinebuster to JBL before, he lifts Edge up for the Batista Bomb, Edge hits the right fist while up on the shoulders of The Animal, but Rock reaches out a slaps the back of The Animal, Edge is off the shoulders of Batista and hits a quick Spear to send The Animal to the outside.
The Rock lays into Edge and Orton before, he hits a spinebuster to Randy and then a Rock Bottom to The Rated R-Superstar, he then looks like going for the People's Elbow, but JBL knocks his block off with a chair shot! And then hits the other two with it as they try to make the save. The match is over but the beating isn't.
Winners: The Rock, Batista & Mick Foley @ 11:25
JBL then grabs The Rock and hits a Clothesline From Hell, Orton then lifts him up as well and hits a thunderous RKO ... just as Edge is setting up for the Spear .. the music blares out ... “MY TIME IS NOW!!” Cena, Cena, Cena! He sprints down to the ring and then makes the save, hitting JBL, Edge and Orton with right fist, shoulder, and all sort! Sending each one over the top rope, one by one ... he then puts a hand out to Rock to help him up but he is out of it, the crowd love it, seeing two of their favourites helping each other out ... but not for long! Cena pulls him up and then grabs him by the wrist lifts him up and hits the F-U! Sending the crowd in to dead silence as he stands over the lifeless body of The Great One, what the hell is he doing? We go to a commercial as John gets out the ring, with no sound made by anyone in the crowd.
~ {Commercial} ~
We come back to see Maria standing by with the HeartBreak Kid, Shawn Michaels, he asks that with the history between the two will it be hard for him to face Triple H tonight. Shawn looks confused with Maria as he then states that, Triple H didn't find it hard to forget when he hit him with a chair a couple of weeks ago. So no it won't be he says, and that he can't wait to get his hands on the WWE Championship after he beats that piece of crap of an excuse for a human begin, Triple H.
Lillian Gracia gets the crowd pumped for the match with some big introductions about what will happen after the match winner has been decided. The music of The Game, Triple H this as he makes his way down to the ring for the main event to big time heat. The Shawn Michaels strides out and he waste no time and sprints down the ring to get this one under way as quick as he can, meeting Triple H at the apron!
Main Event
Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels
Winner faces The Undertaker at No Way Out; Loser is In The Elimination Chamber Match
The match starts with a bang as Shawn wants this done as quickly as possible hitting all his signature moves, atomic drop and bodyslams come out early. Shawn has a number of near falls, but it all turns when Triple H is whipped to the rope but reverse the dropkick by moving swiftly out the way, he then dominates the match, hitting knees to the face a couple of spinebusters. After getting a number of near falls Triple H decided it time for the Pedigree ...
He lines him up, kicks him in the gut, but Shawn reverses the attempt and pushes him off to the ropes and then he hits Triple H own move on him, the spinebuster! He makes the pin and gets a two count. He then climbs to the top and hits the Elbow Drop!, all over? No, but Shawn now is lining up the Superkick, he tunes up the band as Triple H turns round, but he ducks out he way and then switches it round for a Pedigree, but Shawn wiggles out, and hits the Superkcik, NO! HHH moved and then hits the Pedigree ... 1-2-3! Triple H has done it!
Winner: Triple H @ 13:13
The music of The Game this as the crowd boo, but then the lights go out and then face of Triple H panics as he looks round in fear, the lights come back on, and no-one can be seen, but then lighting bolts strike the ramp and fire bursts up on the top of the stage, we leave the broadcast with Triple H looking more anxious than ever before ...

Cena showed up on RAW unexpected and seemed to be saving The Rock from a beat-down but this all turned sour when he gave The Rock and little welcome back gift, an F-U!

Friday Night SmackDown!
Friday 30th January 2009
Air Canada Center, Toronto, Ontario; Canada

No Smoke Without Fire ...
Friday Night Inside The Cage
John Cena has officially cashed in his re-match for the World Heavyweight Championship, as brought to you by wwe.com this past Wednesday. Cena only lost to the current World Heavyweight Champion, Edge, this past Sunday in a controversial match at the Royal Rumble. Edge had help from Curt Hawkins and Zach Ryder, The Rated-R Entourage; but this Friday they will be unable to help him, because this match will be contested in a Steal Cage. The only ways to win is by pinfall, submission or escaping the cage, either going over the top of the 15ft structure or walking out the door. John Cena will be determined to win the title after being screwed out of it on Sunday, but will Edge have the power to stop the Chain Gang Solider without the help of his goons, find out this Friday.
Jeff Wins! Jeff Wins! Jeff Wins!
Also at the Royal Rumble we had the 30 Man Battle Royal to see who would be headlining WrestleMania XXV, and the winner was the Legend Thriller himself, Jeff Hardy. After tossing out Randy Orton, he bathed in the glory of being the Royal Rumble winner 2009, and this Friday he will come out to the ring and make a speech to all his fans. Will Jeff say who he will be challenging , may he leave to RAW to make a go at the WWE Champion, or stay here to take on the winner of the Steal Cage match, find out this Friday!
The Rock Says ...
If you watched Monday Night RAW, then I'm sure you can assume what this part is about, John Cena came out to save The Rock this Monday in his returning match here in the WWE, but rather than keep him out of harms way, he delivered a thunderous F-U which silence the fans in the arena. Of course now The Rock is a SmackDown! superstar, and so is John Cena, so putting two and two together we can see that Friday Night will not go off without a bang between these two, but will Cena be able to avoid the angry wrath of The Great One or Rocky be able to catch Cena and kick his candy ass? Find out this Friday.
Oh Canada!
WWE has been on their yearly tour of Canada and like Monday we are still here in Canada, expect to see some the home town boys and girls to get a big reaction, Trish Stratus to name a few will be here on Friday Nights after the WWE Women's Championship was made Duel-Branded, which Divas will be looking to get their hands on the heroine of Hog Town? Find out all this Friday.
VIP Lounge Welcomes The United States Champion
This Sunday MVP and CM Punk put on what some people may call a classic, but without a doubt it was the hardest match of these two young men's carers. The Straight-Edge Superstar captured the United States Title and regained his Money In The Bank Briefcase, which guarantees him a World Title shot up until WrestleMania XXV. So, a injured MVP has invited Punk on to his VIP Lounge and says he has got a big statement to make, will it be to congratulate CM on his hard fought victory, well we will have to see, find out this Friday on SmackDown!
Plus
Kofi Kingston, JBL, Mick Foley, European Champion Chavo Guerrero and WWE Tag Team Champions, Londrick.
See all this and much more this Friday, only at 8/7CT on MyNetworkTV
~ Confirmed ~
World Heavyweight Championship; Steal Cage Match
Edge © vs. John Cena
Jeff Hardy's 2009 Royal Rumble Winners Speech
MVP's VIP Lounge with CM Punk

Re: JD SPUR Presents : WWE
JD! Just thought I would come here and give you a few comments on your latest edition of Raw. Its great too see your back in this BTB as for a while I felt you had quit or maybe even forgot about it. Don’t worry about not being able to review shows but I would expect a decrease in your reviews JD. So don’t be too surprised by that.
Anyway. This is a Raw coming off the Royal Rumble. Unusual right enough as its been so long I have sort of forgot about what went on at the Rumble
William Regal just reminded me. What a guy he is . That’s right Jeff Hardy won the Royal Rumble at the Rumble. TBH, that makes this show even better as now get too see who will be challenging. An Elimination Chamber, OH MY GOD! TBH. Wasn’t expecting that. I suppose if you think about it more you would expect it but I wasn’t thinking more. The qualifying matches look good. My predictions are Batista, Mr Kennedy, Randy Orton, Umaga and Chris Jericho. It has to be or does it? I was actually going to say about that only being five but you dealt with that later. Nice chant from the crowd. Triple H v Shawn Michaels and the winner going onto meet The Undertaker. Awesome stuff JD
I predicted it. Mr Kennedy opens the show with a win. No surprise really TBH. Matt is a champion and he should stay feuding for that championship and with that championship. Mr Kennedy is more lightly and, well maybe not more deserving but like I said more likely so that was good booking skills.
I was wondering if you were just calling Trish a midget for a second . Not even going to bother with that match
The real Trish coming out was not a surprise as she isn’t going to let Beth do that without doing anything
I don’t get why Jericho went into Regals office in the first place and I don’t think we will find out. Great stipulation from Regal IMO. I expect Jericho to manage to pull off the victory but there’s also a chance of Carlito winning and then jobbing in the Chamber with Jericho feuding with Regal.
Another great segment. Well JD The Rock was involved. The best ever in wrestling IMO so its going to be good. I was surprised he didn’t get involved when it was just Batista and Orton scrapping. I liked how Batista came up from behind without Randy knowing about it, LOL. A great match announced for tonight also.
Shad walking out with the victory was ok but then the aftermath was great. Ted DiBiase and Ken seem like a great tag team. Ken has bundles of talent and Ted supposedly does. Them and a Cryme Time feud is only good for the tag team section
Am just going to skip ahead and do the matches JD unless a segment seems very important. Sorry about this but I just do not have the time.
John Morrison defeating Umaga is a massive shock for me if I am honest. I expected Umaga to be in the chamber just to be a dominant one but then be put out. John Morrison going through shows me you believe he has a lot of talent like I do but it seems you are going to push him. Don’t expect him to make a great impact in the chamber right enough. Hopefully he does!!
Another great match here. Just looking at the superstars competing makes you know it’s a good match. Seeing The Rocks team go through is awesome. Please someway get him into the Chamber. John then coming to the aid of the Rock and then F-Uing him. Fucking quality stuff you say the least JD. The Rock and Cena feud = Ratings without a doubt. Its bigger than The Rock v Hulk IMO as far as ratings are concerned
Its time for the main-event and obviously it would be a great one. Triple H going over. No one I don’t think would be surprised. it’s a very realistic decision and smart booking IMO as Shawn I think is better in a chamber than Triple H. Don’t know were I got that from but I do
Overall JD. A solid show and you are getting some solid feuds picking up already heading into No Way Out which is good as we are getting nearer Mania

Re: JD SPUR Presents : WWE
Yo yo yo JD. Just want to say that I skimmed over RAW and it looks pretty darn impressive. The Elim Chamber is shaping up nicely with Morrison and Kennedy already qualifying. Sorry I can't leave anymore comments as i'm very busy (I always am) but when you get Smackdown! (looks good btw) up hit me up with a PM. Cheers.

Re: JD SPUR Presents : WWE
Here's my first review for you, so if I'm a little slow on the storylines, sorry.
William Regal announcing the Elimination Chamber match is awesome. Some dandy matchups there also. Hardy-Kennedy, Orton-Kane, Batista-Benjamin, and HBK-HHH all look like awesome matchups. Regal on RAW= ratings, imo, even if Vince says otherwise. Regal announced the huge Main Event, which hopefully will deliver.
Matt Hardy vs. Kennedy up first. Nice match to start up RAW. Kennedy over Hardy is alright, I guess since Kennedy needed the rub, because Hardy is the IC Champion. Hopefully you just have Kennedy in the match to see how people react to Kennedy in the Main Event scene. If he's getting a full-fledged push, I'll be disappointed, because, honestly, he's not ready.
Morrison breaking away from the Miz? Probably the best decision, as both could work well as singles competitors. Morrison could go for the IC title, while Miz stays down on the low-card before being pushed. Apparently, though, you're pushing Morrison to the Main Event, which I believe is going too fast. Have him win the IC title first, plz. Next segment is funny, midget Trish, rofl. That's all I got to say on that.
Jericho vs. Carlito with only Carlito with the DQ? Sounds like how it was handled with Triple H and Carlito, but that's just me. I'm expecting Jericho to go over, as that'd be majorly awesome. Jericho in the Main Event= ratings.
OMG! The Rock! I don't know if he's a prominent character in this BTB, but if he isn't, he's obviously going to be pretty soon. We all know what the Rock can do, but I'd use him to put over a mid-carder after having a big feud, as whoever could beat him would gain instant credibility. The only problem I have with the promo is you could've easily had it as a normal tag-team match, instead of adding two more guys. That's just my opinion, though.
Cryme Tyme as Champs=Awesome. Obviously Miz was going to job, after what we read earlier. Nice win for Shad. Ken Doane? Is that Dykstra? I think it is, but I may be wrong. If it is, at least he's getting a push, but I believe he's a little overrated, imo.
I didn't see the point of having Mysterio in HHH's promo, as it should've just focused on the Main Event. Another question, is Triple H a heel? If he is, killer. HHH vs. Deadman at NWO would be an awesome match, maybe as good as the Angle-Undertaker match at the 06 NWO.
Morrison over Umaga? Ugh, expected it, but shouldn't of happened. Even if that it was an accidental interference, Umaga > Morrison, expecially if you have Armando Estrada as a mouthpiece. Decent time for the match, though. I'm prediction Umaga gets a match versus the Miz next week on RAW after what he did.
DQ finish was probably the best way to go with this one, as it makes all of the guys look strong imo. Cena helping out the faces, then turning and hitting the Rock with an F-U? What the hell? Rock-Cena feud perhaps? Ownage, by a mile.
Nice pre-match promo by HBK. Main Event looks to be awesome, JD. Awesome match, delivered like I thought. HBK hitting the spinebuster on HHH, pure ownage right there. . Good thing HHH won, as HBK doesn't need the title shot, but whoever won would've been a good choice.
Overall: Good show JD, and I like the style of recap you do, as it's easy to read. Expect a review of next weeks RAW also, and maybe SD. 8/10
