WWE Divas 2006-Onwards: My Way!
Hey guys. So I'll be doing a Divas-only BTB. I'll be doing a regular RAW show but only writing the divas related stuff such as matches, segments, interviews and the sort. I don't see any Divas BTBs and when divas are used in other BTBs, the feuds are very blah and are seen on TV so I thought I'd try something new. I'll only be doing RAW in full but I'll be posting weekly recaps on what's happened on Smackdown! and ECW, as well as Quick Results from DSW & OVW. The rosters:
WWE RAW:
Beth Phoenix
Candice Michelle - Injured
Lilian Garcia
Maria
Mickie James - Womens Champion
Melina
Torrie Wilson
Victoria
WWE Smackdown!:
Ashley
Jillian Hall
Kristal Marshall
Layla
Michelle McCool - Inactive
ECW:
Francine - General Manager
Jazz - Injured
Kelly Kelly - Inactive
Luscious
Trinity
OVW/DSW:
Amazing Kong
Amber O'Neal
Beth Phoenix - Women's Champion
Cherry
Katie Lea
Melissa Anderson
Mercedes Martinez
ODB
Serena
She Nay Nay
Rain
Roucka
Talia Madison
Victoria Crawford
----------
Angel Williams
Brooke
Krissy Vaine - DSW General Manager
Lacey Von Erich
Lollipop
Luscious
Melissa Coates
Nattie Neidhart - Inactive
Tracy Taylor
Trenesha
Shantelle Taylor
I'll be putting up my first show tomorrow morning (in about 12 hours) and it'll be the night after Survivor Series 2006 which saw Mickie James beat Lita to regain the Womens Championship.
I hope you all enjoy! And also know that the rosters will be frequently updated!

A very unique BTB. I saw another before, but it didn't last long. Anyways I am sure this would last a while if you tried. Good luck to this BTB.

Thank you. I've actually done a few Diva BTBs here before, and I've managed to prove some people wrong. Hopefully I'll be able to do so again, especially since I haven't done BTBs in a very long time.

Re: WWE Divas 2006-Onwards: My Way!
I've tried this...A few enjoyed it but I think I got tired of it after a while. Mine lasted for about a month & then i posted a show & never looked back.
I actually dont like the idea of posting just the diva parts of shows because that can be pretty messy. I think you'd be better off with saying that WWE decided to create a divas show or something of the sort & do that but still have them on their respective brands.
I'll read often if you message me to let me know...

The first show should be up in a few hours. I've still got some work to do for school but I've already started on the show, so yeah.

Re: WWE Divas 2006-Onwards: My Way!
Monday Night RAW
November 27, 2006 (11.27.06)
The show returned from a long commercial break, kicking off its second hour on air on the USA Network. The announcers, Jerry "The King" Lawler and Jim Ross played a video recapping the Womens title match at Survivor Series the night before between then-Champion Lita and current-Champion Mickie James. The video ended with Mickie James delivering the Mick Kick to Lita and pinning her to win her second Womens title before it returned to the ring where Todd Grisham stood in the center of the ring, subbing for Lilian Garcia who was unable to make the show that evening. The crowd cheered as Todd smiled and raised the microphone to his lips.
Todd Grisham: "Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my pleasure to welcome the new WWE Womens Champion... Mickie James!"
The crowd cheered loudly as "Obsession" hit the speakers and Mickie James skipped out onto the stage, holding her newly won Womens title up in the air. She wore a silver denim vest on top of a short-sleeved black button down shirt. She also wore tight black skinny jeans as well as silver pumps. She posed at the center of the stage with one leg raised and one arm raised, raising up her coveted Womens title. She skipped down the ramp as her fans held up several signs praising her. She quickly made her way down to ringside and seated herself in front of the announce table, in front of Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross.
Todd Grisham: "The following is an Over The Top Rope Battle Royal to determine who will face Mickie James for the WWE Womens Championship at New Year's Revolution. The rules are that for an elimination to occur, a diva must be thrown through the ring, out of the ring and both their feet have to hit the floor. Introducing first from Los Angeles, California... Victoria!"
"Don't Mess With" began playing which sent the fans into a booing frenzy as the curtains folded back allowing Victoria to walk onto the stage. With red streaks in her curly black hair, she wore a black leather crop top with a hole in the shape of a spider exposing her cleavage. She also wore matching black leather pants on top of black leather boots, as well as black elbowpads and her knee brace. She glared at the fans before quickly making her way down the ramp and towards the ring. She climbed the ring apron and jumped over the ropes to get into the ring as her theme music faded into silence allowing Todd Grisham to introduce the next competitor in the match.
Todd Grisham: "From Chicago, Illinois... Maria!"
"With Legs Like That" began playing on the speaker system which resulted in several whoops and cheers of delight as Maria trotted out onto the stage, her straight brown hair bouncing along with her movement. She quickly leaned over and blew her long trademark kiss to the fans and then bounced along down the ramp, towards the ring. She wore a black lace tank top where her black bra was peeking out evidently, and she paired the look with a pair of black shorts and knee-high wrestling boots. She tagged a few hands at the barricades before she climbed the steel steps. She entered the ring through the bottom and middle ropes as her theme music faded to silence.
Todd Grisham: "From Los Angeles, California... Melina!"
"Paparazzi" hit the surround sound as the paparazzi rushed out from the back while workers rolled a red carpet down the ramp so the infamous Melina could make her way to the ring. Melina walked out from the back to a chorus of boos from the fans who were awed by her presence. She struck a pose at the center of the stage before she strutted down the ramp fashionably, making poses so the paparazzi could snap good photos of her in her red-and-black ring gear with black furry boots. She got to the ring and climbed the steel steps and dramatically spun around, striking poses, attempting to get to the center before she jumped downwards, and nailing her split entrance, entering the ring. She quickly got to her feet and struck a pose in the center of the ring with Maria and Victoria watching as her theme music faded.
Todd Grisham: "From Milwaukee, Wisconsin... Candice Michelle!"
"What Love Is" hit the surround sound and the fans started cheering loudly as the sultry and seductive Candice Michelle came out and started teasing the fans, in movement with her slow and sultry theme music. She played with her straight black hair before ripping off her black leather coat, showing off the ensemble she had on underneath: a black leather corset with white lines running down it, along with white shorts and black leather boots. Candice slowly strutted down the ramp, trying to look very sexy. She pulled her black coat off entirely and left it on the ground before hoisting herself up onto the apron, and climbing underneath the ropes. She went to the center of the ring and did her Go-Daddy dance to the delight of the fans as her theme music faded.
Todd Grisham: "And from Boise, Idaho... Torrie Wilson!"
The second "A Girl Like That" hit the sound system, the fans burst into huge cheers, cheers more audible than those for the Womens Champion herself. Torrie Wilson walked out from the back dressed in a light blue leather ensemble: a halter crop top with zigzag strings on the front holding the top together, short shorts and matching flares beginning at her knees and ending at her ankles. She wore black leather boots, and with a light blue bowtie, Chloe was carried by the lovable Torrie. Torrie waved to all the fans as she walked down the ramp towards the ring as Melina sized her up from inside. As Torrie walked down the ramp, Jerry Lawler went through the sponsors for that edition of RAW. When the camera returned, Torrie was already prepping herself up, Chloe given to the ring workers ringside. Torrie's music faded and the referee was about to ring the bell when suddenly "Coachman" hit the speakers and the fans booed, as Jonathan Coachman walked out. He had a microphone in his hand and looked at the five ladies in the ring who looked very confused.
Jonathan Coachman: "You know, since the divas action on RAW has been getting repetitive for quite some time, RAW Management has decided to bring in a new diva, a woman who is known to the fans and some of you ladies down in the ring, especially both Mickie James and Victoria. So, without further ado, I'd like to introduce RAW's newest and returning diva... Beth Phoenix!"
"Count On It" hit as the camera showed Victoria's reactions to the announcement as shocked, and Mickie's as slightly scared but somewhat confident. The camera switched back to the ramp where Beth Phoenix now stood at the stage, as Jonathan Coachman headed backstage. She wore a simple white tank top and paired it with tight black leather pants tucked into black leather boots. Beth walked down the ramp and climbed the ring apron, glaring at all the divas in the ring. She climbed the turnbuckle and entered the ring, sititing on the turnbuckle then flipping herself over it. She turned towards the other girls in the rings and smirked, she had a huge feeling she was going to win that match that evening. The referee rang the bell, and the match began.
Quote:
Divas Battle Royal
Winner gets a title shot at New Year's Revolution
Victoria vs. Maria vs. Melina vs. Candice Michelle vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Beth Phoenix
Eliminations:
1. Maria by Beth Phoenix - Beth Gorilla-Pressed Maria and dumped her out of the ring
2. Torrie Wilson by Victoria - Victoria threw Torrie through the ropes and out of the ring
3. Melina by Beth Phoenix - Beth clotheslined Melina over the ropes and out of the ring
Match Ending:
As Beth celebrated after eliminating Melina from the match, Candice Michelle ran to Beth and sent a Double Axe Handle to her back, in hopes of getting Beth down to her knees to try and eliminate her. Beth simply staggered before turning around, her fist flying outwards, hitting Candice straight in the face. Candice staggered backwards, almost falling over. Beth nailed Candice with a punch on the other side of the face before kicking her in the stomach, causing her to bend over. Beth threw Candice into the turnbuckle, hurting her shoulder. Candice fell to her knees and Beth turned to Victoria who was standing, ready. Victoria smirked and rushed forward, jumping up and kneeing Candice, pushing her face and shoulder into the turnbuckle even more. Candice whimpered in pain as Victoria pulled her up by her hair. Both girls started double-teaming the Go-Daddy girl, hitting her with endless punches and kicks before Beth punched Candice straight in the center of her face. Victoria then grabbed Candice by her hair and threw her into the ropes as hard as she could. Instead of hitting it and running back, Candice hit the ropes and fell flat on her face, hurt by all the pain she had endured. This then allowed Beth to rush forward with a baseball slide, painfully kicking Candice out of the ring and eliminating her from the match.
Beth got to her feet and raised her hands in triumph, recieving a large chorus of boos from the fans who despised her for doing what she did. Suddenly, it looked like their partnership had ended shortly after it began, as Victoria grabbed Beth by her hair and bit her on the shoulder. Beth shouted in pain, but Victoria didn't let go. When she did let go, Victoria spun Beth around to face her and kicked her in the shin, making her fall to her knees. Victoria then kicked Beth in the face, knocking her down. Victoria moved backwards and hit her Standing Moonsault on the returning diva. Victoria then walked towards the ropes and pointed at Mickie, making the title motion around her waist, signaling that she wanted it. Victoria turned around and managed to dodge a clothesline by Beth and kicked Beth straight in the gut before grabbing her and throwing her through the ropes, eliminating her from the match and therefore, winning the match herself. The referee rang the bell and slid into the ring to raise her hand in victory as "Don't Mess With" started playing in the background.
Winner: Victoria @ 5:44
|
Victoria's hand was raised by the referee as she looked smugly at the thousands of fans in the arena that evening. She turned to face Mickie James, who had already left the announce table, who was standing outside the ring with her Women's title positioned nicely on her shoulder. Victoria pointed at the title and made a title belt motion, saying that the title was hers come New Year's Revolution. Mickie made gestures saying that the title was hers, and would always be. Mickie put her title belt on the announce table and yelled at Victoria. Both girls trash-talked each other for a while until suddenly Beth Phoenix came out nowhere and took Victoria down from the back in an unexpected attack. Victoria, who had fallen to the ground onto her stomach, was pulled back up by Beth Phoenix and was put into the strong and submissive Chicken Wing hold. Victoria yelped in psychotic pain until Beth released her painfully; Victoria fell and hit her face hard on the mat. She slowly rolled out of the ring as Beth turned her attention to Mickie James outside who had turned to the announce table to get her title belt. Beth reached out and down and grabbed Mickie by her hair, who screamed. Beth pulled Mickie onto the apron by her hair and then pulled her into the ring, pulling her over the ropes. Beth kicked Mickie hard in the gut before positioning Mickie and then hitting her with the Fisherman Suplex. Beth stood up and raised her hands in triumph, as "Count On It" started playing and the fans booed the returning diva endlessly. RAW faded to a commercial break as Beth was seen looking down at Mickie, with an evil smirk of contentment on her face.
END SHOW - CURTAINS CLOSE.
Quick Results
Victoria won the Divas Battle Royal.

Re: WWE Divas 2006-Onwards: My Way!
Well I cant exactly lend a review here but I think you are making the divas look WAY too sadistic. With the biting & screaming its a bit much. Also I think a potential Triple Threat would be pretty good. 8/10 cuz I dont really like when this style is done with a certain part of the show booked...
P.S. you're right. I've never seen Roucka in the ring.
