Why would ANYONE want to read a thread with Triple H as champion? Especially in '03.

20 Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Championship
Shawn Michaels vs Kevin Nash vs RVD vs Kane vs Maven vs Jeff Hardy vs The Hurricane vs Test vs Goldust vs Tommy Dreamer vs Chris Jericho vs Christian vs Randy Orton vs Batista vs Ric Flair vs Lance Storm vs William Regal vs Chris Nowinski vs D'Lo Brown vs Mark Henry
There's some big names in there, so kudos for not degrading the IC Title, but I'm Down With The Brown, so I'm calling a shock and a push.

Singles Match
Scott Steiner vs The Rock
No idea. This feud is just so random. Steiner is so jobberific at this point of his career.

Elimination Tables Match; 6 Man Tag
The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray, D-Von & Spike) vs 3 Minute Warning (Jamal, Rosey & Rico)

Women's Championship Match
Trish Stratus (c) vs Victoria
She's the best looking out of the two, which is what you usually go for. Surprised you haven't ever made Layla champion in a thread yet. Probably because she's dog rough and has no talent

Triple Threat Match; Number One Contender for the WWE Title
Guest Referee: Brock Lesnar
The Undertaker vs Hulk Hogan vs Kurt Angle
I want to see Angle go nuts before he gets his rematch. Also, Hogan's entertaining in non-title feuds. Keep him the hell away from the big prize.

United States Championship Semi Final #1
Eddie Guerrero vs The Big Show
Read below.

United States Championship Semi Final #2
Chris Benoit vs John Cena
Because I want to see this final tbh.

Good luck. Have a Fosters on me <3

~I know it won't happen, but hey, a guy can dream. I see you going with Undertaker here, because Angle already had his chance, but fuck it, I stand by Hogan. A Hogan/Angle feud would be good too.

I'm going to be reading this match thoroughly, and fully expecting Benoit to do a suicide dive. If he doesn't, I'll be so pissed..

Before doing these prediction thingies, I would like to say I enjoy reading your recaps, eventhough they're a bit on the short side. They provide adequate detail and in the end, it's the booking that matters most and I'm enjoying that aspect of your thread so whatever. I would also like to request to you that you write out every future Cena rap in full. Thank you very much.

World Heavyweight Championship; Steel Cage Match
Booker T vs Triple H (c)

No way in hell is Trips losing this one. Na-ah

20 Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Championship
Shawn Michaels vs Kevin Nash vs RVD vs Kane vs Maven vs Jeff Hardy vs The Hurricane vs Test vs Goldust vs Tommy Dreamer vs Chris Jericho vs Christian vs Randy Orton vs Batista vs Ric Flair vs Lance Storm vs William Regal vs Chris Nowinski vs D'Lo Brown vs Mark Henry

Hard to predict this one, but Jericho would be a good champ-een. I'd love if Maven would win this but it seems to soon for him.

Singles Match
Scott Steiner vs The Rock

Surely your man-love for the big bad booty daddy is not that big, is it?

Elimination Tables Match; 6 Man Tag
The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray, D-Von & Spike) vs 3 Minute Warning (Jamal, Rosey & Rico)

Not interested in this match in the slightest.

Women's Championship Match
Trish Stratus (c) vs Victoria

Not too sure about this one either, but I'll say Trish cause she's the hottest.

Triple Threat Match; Number One Contender for the WWE Title
Guest Referee: Brock Lesnar
The Undertaker vs Hulk Hogan vs Kurt Angle

This feud seems about ready to end. At Judgment Day that is.

United States Championship Semi Final #1
Eddie Guerrero vs The Big Show

United States Championship Semi Final #2
Chris Benoit vs John Cena

Eddie versus Cena would be a nice match. So would Eddie vs. Benoit for that matter, but Cena needs the title more than any of the other men.

Also, the McMahon announcement....THE STINGER imo.

Default Re: Renegade Presents: WWE 2003 - Now Go Home And Get Your Fucking Shinebox

After a long debate and all that jazz, I've decided to return to booking

Look for Backlash in a recapped form within a few days, the card is above me from predics if you want a refresher, but here's some news and notes to tide people over till the PPV comes along

WWE.com News

RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff has added a further stipulation to the World Heavyweight Championship clash between Booker T and the defending champion Triple H. Not only will the match take place inside a Steel Cage, but Bill Goldberg will now be the Enforcer at ringside. Bischoff has decided to make this decision to attempt to counter the probable involvement of Evolution during the contest.

The Rumour Mill

It is widely expected that Shawn Michaels will soon require time off to fix a niggling problem with his left shoulder. Rumour has it either at Backlash or in the weeks that follow, he will be written off temporarily, with an estimated return date late July/early August

The speculation continues to the announcement of Vince McMahon. Some have said he is looking to announce the signing of a new superstar, others a staff member, with various names such as Paul Heyman, Sable, former WCW favourite Sting and even Bret Hart being linked with the announcement. There has been no concrete info yet however

With the recent scrapping of the Rights to Censor, Rodney Mack is expected to re-team up with Mark Henry and Teddy Long in the Thuggin' and Buggin' group. Chris Nowinski on the other hand, may recieve a push, but plans for when and how are up in the air

Angelina Williams' debut has yet to be set in stone, with creative still believing they can keep the Womens division fresh for now, and Williams will likely debut sometime in the American summer

***

So yeah, that's that for now, look for Backlash in a few days time, and I will do my best to return any feedback and comments on shows that I recieve <3.

Only a year late, but okay.

Everything looks in order here. The Goldberg stipulation looks rather juicy, and while I'm not so sure about this Angelina thing (liked I said about a year ago I think), I'm just happy to have you back. Just don't disappear back to the FM thread now. <3

Forgive the sloppiness of this recap (of sorts) as it's been a LONG time since I've booked. This is the Backlash PPV, matches are summarised, some more than others (the longer matches were written last year), and this just needed to get up so I can kick on with things again. Most of the promo's are recapped, Cena's rap, Rocky's promo are in full as is the Vince segment, but they're pretty sloppy as it's really 3 years of bits and pieces worked together. Enjoy as much as possible tho...

Cole & Tazz then hand it back to JR & King just in time for

*YEAH, WE'RE COMING DOWN*
*PYRO*
*DROP DA BOMBSHELLS*

The crowd erupts as out come the ever popular Dudley Boyz. The trio play to the fans, pumping them up for the contest

*3 MINUTES*

The mood around the arena quickly changes as the mammoth 3 Minute Warning head to the ring with their manager and team mate tonight in Rico. They stop at the bottom of the ramp and Rico says something to them, before the trio rush into the ring and the fight is on

Match 1
Six Man Tag; Elimination Tables Match
The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray, D-Von & Spike Dudley)
vs
3 Minute Warning (Jamal, Rosey & Rico)

Bubba pairs off with Jamal, D-Von with Rosey and Spike with Rico in a chaotic opening as the referee struggles to gain control of the contest. There's an early close call as Jamal looks to Powerbomb little Spike through a table at ringside, but Bubba pulls his smaller brother off the big man's shoulders before the duo shove Jamal back first into the steel steps. Inside the ring D-Von and Rosey get the match properly underway. Despite Rosey's 150 pound weight advantage over D-Von, the Dudley uses his mobility to get around the size of Rosey and take him down with a Cyclone lariat. D-Von tags in Bubba and Bubba snaps a jab at Rosey, then another, and another before winding up and giving the big man a variation of the crotch chop and yell out "take this you fat bastard" before clobbering Rosey with a Bionic Elbow, taking him off his feet. Bubba brings Rosey up and looks to shoot him to the ropes but Rosey counters and swats the 300 pound Bubba down with a big Body Check. Rosey tags in Jamal and the duo send Bubba to the ropes and meet him on the rebound with a double back elbow, and then drop elbows to a downed Bubba in stereo. Jamal attempts a cover but is quickly reminded it's a tables match and he grunts in annoyance. Jamal brings Bubba to his feet and scoops him up, but Bubba slips out the back and takes Jamal down with a Neckbreaker.

Tag in to D-Von and after a nice double team which sees Jamal flap jacked to the mat, Spike enthusiastically makes a tag in from D-Von, climbs the top rope and soars off with a Cross Body...BUT JAMAL CATCHES HIM AND PLANTS SPIKE WITH A FRONT SLAM! Crowd let's out a groan as they feel little Spike's pain as he is turned to a pancake and lies motionless in the middle of the ring. Rico sees this as the perfect opportunity to do something without ruining his faggoty perm and tags in, casually walks over to Spike who is barely moving and begins talking trash. Rico reaches down and grabs Spike by the hair, then slaps him across the face and begins to stomp away at the runt of the Dudley litter. A "We Want Tables" chant starts up as Rico taunts the Dudleyz, causing them to enter the ring, but as they do the referee gets in their way and remonstrates with them to return to their corners, and this sees Jamal step into the ring and help Rico double team Spike in the 3MW corner whilst Rosey slides a table into the ring. Rico sets up the table as Jamal uses his boot to choke out Spike. Rico tags in big Rosey who mounts the top turnbuckle. Jamal hops onto the apron and yells to Rosey "break him in half" as Rico hoists Spike onto the table. Rosey leaps off with a SENTON BOMB...BUT BUBBA PULLS SPIKE AWAY AND ROSEY CRASHES BACK FIRST THROUGH THE TABLE! However, seeing as Rosey went through himself, he's not eliminated as JR & King are quick to point out. D-Von meanwhile charges at Jamal and clotheslines him out of the ring, but the momentum takes D-Von over the top rope too and suddenly the ref has lost control again. It is during this part that we do see our first elimination. As they battle on the outside, Jamal gains control of D-Von and sets a table up on the outside, Rico is being pummeled in the corner by Bubba. Bubba exposes the chest of Rico and silences the crowd, then open hand slaps Rico across the chest! The echo is heard all around the arena as Rico staggers away holding his new hand printed abs, but as Bubba comes for him, Rico rakes the eyes out of desperation. With Bubba stunned, Rico unleashes a Spinning Heel Kick connecting to the cheek of Bubba Dudley who stumbles backwards against the ring ropes, and Rico charges at Bubba, but Bubba sees him coming and drops the shoulder. ELEVATING RICO OVER THE TOP ROPE TO THE OUTSIDE, THROUGH THE TABLE JAMAL HAD JUST SET UP!

Eliminated @ 5:45 - Rico

The crowd erupts for the big spot and Rico is out meaning the Dudleyz have a man advantage. Jamal looks down at his manager's crumbled body before eyes widening in anger, he turns back to D-Von and lifts a knee to the midsection. Jamal introduces D-Von's face to the apron and then grabs another table that's propped up against the barricade, and THROWS IT AT D-VON HITTING HIM STRAIGHT IN THE FACE! Meanwhile inside the ring Rosey slides in and socks Bubba with a right hand, then rams his shoulder into the gut of Bubba Ray and drives him back into the turnbuckle. Rosey continues to ram his shoulder repeatedly into Bubba's gut, until Spike comes to his brothers rescue, clobbering Rosey on the back. Spike tries to take the fight to the much bigger Rosey with a few right hands, but with them barely fazing the big man, he springs off the ropes looking for a Flying Forearm, but Rosey catches him and Military Presses him up into the air with ease, before walking him over to the ropes and calling Jamal. Jamal turns around and Rosey tosses Spike out to him, JAMAL CATCHES SPIKE ON HIS SHOULDERS AND SAMOAN DROPS HIM BACK THROUGH THE SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE! The crowd marks like fuck for that and Spike is eliminated (and probably dead) as Hugo and Carlos run for cover

Eliminated @ 7:01 - Spike Dudley

Huge "Holy Shit" chant breaks out as the referee motions for the EMT's who come sprinting down to attend to Spike, who just got owned. They hoist Spike up onto a stretcher and wheel him to the back as D-Von comes after Jamal, rocking the big man with a right hand, before picking up the ring bell off the time keeper's table and WHACKING JAMAL OVER THE TEMPLE WITH IT! Jamal gets his bell rung (literally) and goes down as D-Von slides into the ring looking to nail Rosey with it, but Rosey sees D-Von coming and grabs him and takes him down with a big Side Belly to Belly Suplex! Rosey now exits the ring and grabs the table Jamal threw at D-Von earlier and slides it into the ring, following it in. Rosey begins to set the table up closer to one of the turnbuckles, looking to do some more damage. Bubba Ray Dudley however clubs on the big man's back, then hits one of his trademark jabs, and tries again to shoot Rosey to the ropes, but Rosey counters and sends Bubba flying over the top rope out to the floor. D-Von struggles back to his feet and Rosey charges across the ring, flooring him with a clothesline! Rosey now brings D-Von to his feet and drags him to the corner, before locking him in a front face lock and hoisting him up onto the turnbuckle. The crowd start to stir as the near 400 pounder ascends the turnbuckle too, locking another front face lock on and attempting the SUPERPLEX...BUT D-VON IS HOLDING ONTO THE ROPES! Rosey tries again but D-Von holds on, not wanting to taste some wood. Rosey hammers away on the back of D-Von, wearing him down, but doesn't see Bubba slide back into the ring. Bubba sneaks up on Rosey, grabs him by the massive ghetto shorts he's wearing and with all his might POWERBOMBS ROSEY FROM THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE THROUGH THE TABLE BELOW!

Eliminated @ 8:25 - Rosey

Bubba now sees Jamal slide back into the ring and the two begin trading blows with each other. Jamal gets the upper hand and Irish whips Bubba to the ropes, but he drops his shoulder too early and Bubba anticipates the Back Body Drop attempt, puts on the brakes and kicks Jamal in the face. Bubba then loads up big Jamal and puts him down with a Scoop Slam. With D-Von already on the top turnbuckle, Bubba grabs Jamal by the feet and pulls his legs back over his head, as D-Von balances himself and soars off the top turnbuckle and connects with the WHASSUP! Jamal holds his groin and rolls around in pain as Bubba gets that far away look in his eye, sensing the end could be near and pushes D-Von, at the same time yelling out "D-VON!" The crowd come alive, knowing what's coming as Bubba yells "GET THE TABLES!" The duo exit the ring and grab the last table that's propped against the barricade and place it in the ring. The two then reach under the ring and pull out ANOTHER TABLE to a big pop. However they see Jamal getting to his feet in the ring and ditch the second table as they slide back in and hammer away at Jamal with right hands, taking turns on the 3MW member. They back Jamal to the corner and continue to pummel away at him, then Bubba tells D-Von to set the table up whilst he continues to beat on Jamal in the corner. D-Von grabs the table and props it up in the opposite corner against the turnbuckle. He rejoins his brother from another mother and the crowd can already sense what's coming. Bubba & D-Von grab Jamal and go to whip him across the ring to the table, but Jamal holds onto the ropes like D-Von did earlier to save himself yelling out "NO! NO!" as he desperately holds on. Bubba let's go of Jamal and kicks him in the gut, breaking his resistance and the two get ready to whip Jamal, but BUBBA IS TRIPPED DOWN AND PULLED OUT OF THE RING BY RICO! As this happens, D-Von gets distracted and this allows Jamal the chance to counter the whip attempt, and JAMAL WHIPS D-VON WITH TREMENDOUS VELOCITY ACROSS THE RING, AND SHOULDER FIRST THROUGH THE TABLE!

Eliminated @ 10:14 - D-Von Dudley

The crowd jeers as D-Von is taken out and we're down to Bubba and Jamal. Rico took advantage of the ruling of this match that even though you're eliminated from the match you don't return to the back, a handy rule Bischoff made for this contest on RAW a few weeks ago, and it's tipped the scales back in 3MW's favour, as now Rosey is also back on his feet, D-Von is down and out and Spike has been taken away by the EMT's. Bubba blocks a right hand from Rico and levels him with one of his own, but is attacked by Rosey from behind. Rosey repeatedly clubs Bubba on the back and then rolls him into the ring where Jamal is waiting for him. The big men then proceed to pulverize Bubba in the corner with a mix of right hands, kicks, stomps and chops as the Dudley can't even defend himself at this point. Rico gets back into the ring holding his head after being levelled by Bubba earlier, and plants a Straight Kick into the gut of Bubba in retaliation. Rico then tells Jamal & Rosey to "finish him off" and they nod in acknowledgement. The duo bring Bubba to his feet and whip him across the ring to the opposite turnbuckle. Jamal then grabs Rosey and looks to whip him across the ring, but Rosey then reverses it, whipping Jamal who's got momentum behind him at Bubba, looking for a Body Splash...BUT BUBBA MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AND JAMAL CRASHES STERNUM FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLE! Crowd pops as Bubba then charges out and clotheslines Rosey, TURNING HIM INSIDE OUT! Rico then swings a wild right at Bubba, who ducks it, and hooks Rico up and drops him with the BUBBA BOMB! The crowd is making some noise now as Bubba battles the odds. Bubba slides out of the ring and grabs the table he and D-Von left earlier and brings it back into the ring. He begins to set it up, but has taken his eyes off Jamal who grabs him from behind and turns him around, socking Bubba with a right hand. Bubba fires back, rocking the Samoan monster, but Jamal connects with a headbutt, stopping Bubba's fight back.

With the table already set up, Jamal locks Bubba up in a front face lock and goes for a Suplex, but Bubba delivers a right hand to the ribs of Jamal, then another and another, loosening his grip. Bubba then rebounds off the ropes but Jamal takes him down with a high impact clothesline. Rosey is back on his feet now and Jamal calls him over, with them looking to finish off Bubba Ray here. They position themselves in front of the table and grab Bubba, locking him up in a double face lock, going for a Double Suplex, but to everyone's amazement, SPIKE DUDLEY is hurrying to the ring, baking sheet in one hand, his other hand clutching his ribs. Spike slides into the ring and blasts Rosey over the head with the sheet, then Jamal, then Rosey again, then Jamal again! The two men let go of Bubba as they get their brains scrambled and Spike rebounds off the ropes and whacks Jamal over the head a third time with the baking sheet, causing him to fall onto his backside! Spike then grabs Rosey by the head, runs up the turnbuckle and springs back off, DRILLING ROSEY TO THE MAT WITH THE DUDLEY DOG! The crowd pops for that but Spike gets back up gingerly, holding his ribs and Jamal catches him with plants him with a SCRAPDUSTER SLAM (Bossman Slam)! Spike clutches at his ribs, clearly he's injured but he came out to save his brother from suffering the same fate. Jamal grabs Spike and tosses him out of the ring, telling him to stay there. However, with his eyes off the prize, D-Von is back on his feet, as is Bubba, and the crowd are already yelling out "THREEEEEE DEEEEE" as Jamal turns around, and barely has time to say "OH SHIT" as D-Von raises him up and the Dudleyz DELIVER THE 3D TO JAMAL THROUGH THE TABLE!

Eliminated @ 13:24 - Jamal

Winners @ 13:24 - The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray, D-Von & Spike Dudley)

The crowd erupts as the Dudleyz pick up the win in a hellacious way to kick off Backlash. After a quick embrace Bubba & D-Von exit the ring to check on their brother Spike who is clearly seriously injured as we fade out

We cut backstage and are in the Evolution locker room where Triple H is fuming over Bischoff's decision to make Goldberg the Enforcer for the Cage match tonight. The Game is shaking and going blood red as he does when he's getting mad, and Flair tries to calm him down, which doesn't seem to work as Trips chucks his water bottle against the wall. Orton & Batista say they can go and persuade Bischoff to change his mind, but Flair being the veteran of the group manages to convince Trips to relax and says he's got a much better idea. As the foursome group together the camera conveniently cuts back to ringside as JR says he's got a bad feeling about this as they hand commentary over to Cole & Tazz who also briefly discuss what Evolution could be up to, and then Tazz gives the Dudleyz and 3MW props for a huge opening contest, and Cole tells us coming up is the first of two United States Championship tournament Semi Finals which will see Chris Benoit take on John Cena

*BASIC THUGANOMICS*

Almost right on cue, the music of the Doctor hits and out comes John Cena to a bunch of heat but also some audible pops, being from the Massachusetts area too . Cena is of course sporting his home town with pride, wearing a Celtics jersey, which doesn't go down too well with the fans, as he does his you can't see me taunt and gets into the ring

Cena: Cut my music!

Heat

Cena: Chris Benoit, you've made it this far congratulations
I'll be sure to send you a special commendation
But you won't be going any further, no further issues
You don't like that scenario, go grab a box of tissues

I'm superior to you in every way, stamina, speed and strength
If you didn't get that your attention span is shorter than your neck length!
You may be the Rabid Wolverine and you've got the support of the town
But I'm the doctor of death and tonight I'm puttin' you down!

You think you're intimidating coz you lost a few teeth
I'm Garland Greene, skin you alive and use it for my sheath
So Benoit the time has come to settle this score
Atleast after you're done here you've got a good tooth gap to be a whore!

WORD LIFE!

Crowd "Oooo's" for that final line

*WHATEVER*

Benoit's music hits and the crowd pops for the Wolverine as he marches to the ring with a purpose

Match 2
United States Championship Tournament; Semi Final #1
Chris Benoit vs John Cena

It's a rough opening with Benoit taking it Cena from the get go. Benoit unleashes some savage knife edge chops, charring Cena's chest bright red in the corner, then brings him out and takes him down with a Snap Suplex. Benoit makes a quick cover 1...2.kickout by Cena. As John Cena rolls out of the ring trying to get some distance from the Crippler, Benoit rebounds off the ropes and then flies through the middle rope with a SUICIDE DIVE, taking Cena into the barricade! Crowd starts a "Benoit" chant after that as he puts the boots to a downed Cena. Benoit brings Cena to his feet and kicks him in the gut, then looks to whip him towards the ringpost, but Cena is able to counter and BENOIT CRASHES SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE STEEL RINGPOST! Cena gets a breather after having his ass handed to him, and Benoit gasps out as he clutches at his left shoulder. Nick Patrick orders the two to get back in the ring and Cena abides as Benoit remains down, and Patrick begins to administer his ten count 1...2...3...4...5..Benoit gets to his feet and rolls back into the ring, but Cena is right on the attack, stomping away at the left shoulder area of Benoit. Cena brings Benoit to his feet and performs an Arm Wrench on Benoit's left arm, and then delivers a shoulder to Benoit's left shoulder, causing Benoit to drop to a knee in pain. Cena does another wrench, really working on that left shoulder and then yanks hard, trying to pull Benoit's arm out of socket. Cena repeats the yank and then sends Benoit to the ropes, but Benoit comes back and scores with a shoulder block, which takes Cena down, but Benoit clutches at his shoulder again, obviously hurting himself in the process. Benoit tries to shake it off and springs off the ropes again, Cena dropping to the mat as Benoit hops over him, rebounds off the opposite ropes and CENA CATCHES HIM WITH A POWERSLAM! Cover 1...2..kickout by Benoit.

Cena now takes control of the match as he locks an arm bar on Benoit, continually working the left shoulder area. After Benoit is able to counter the arm bar by managing to force Cena on his back with a pin attempt for a 1...2.kickout, both men get to their feet and Cena goes for a right hand, but Benoit ducks under it and takes Cena down with a German Suplex! Benoit doesn't go for his trifecta as his shoulder is giving him trouble and he exits the ring, again trying to shake it off. Benoit gets back into the ring and delivers another stinging knife edge chop to Cena, who backs off eyes wide in pain as Benoit gives him another for good measure. Benoit goes for the CROSSFACE but Cena is quick to grab onto the ropes, forcing Benoit to break up the hold. Benoit listens to Nick Patrick and let's Cena go, but this costs him as Cena quickly punches Benoit on the shoulder and then performs another arm wrench on the left arm, then drops Benoit down, driving his left shoulder to the mat. Cena works over Benoit's shoulder to the best of his ability here and as Benoit tries to mount a come back, coming out of the corner with some knife edge chops and sending Cena to the ropes, Cena comes back with a Flying Shoulder Tackle which puts Benoit back down. With Benoit down, Cena does the "You Can't See Me" taunt the rebounds off the ropes and drops the Five Knuckle Shuffle to a mixed reaction. Cover 1...2..kickout. Cena stays in control and wears down Benoit, managing to connect with the Prototype and make a cover 1...2..shoulder up by Benoit.
As Cena begins to dominate though he shows a rookie mistake and tries to put the CROSSFACE on Benoit to add insult to injury, but Benoit is able to counter and take Cena down with a DDT! Both men down. Nick Patrick begins his ten count 1...2...3...4...Cena begins to stir...5...Benoit does too...6...7 and both men get back to their feet. Cena hits Benoit with a right, but Benoit fights back with a forearm strike. Cena fires back with a right and this time Benoit retaliates with a knife edge chop which echoes throughout the arena. The sting of the chop rocks Cena who covers up his chest and Benoit takes advantage, striking Cena with another forearm, then a kick to the midsection. Benoit goes to shoot Cena to the corner, but Cena reverses and BENOIT GOES STERNUM FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLE! Big impact as the Rabid Wolverine staggers out of the corner and Cena hoists him up looking for the FU...BUT BENOIT SLIPS OUT THE BACK AND TAKES CENA DOWN WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Benoit pops the hips and keeps the waist lock on as Cena gets back to his feet, and connects with a second German! Benoit again keeps the hold on and takes Cena down with a third German!

Benoit regains his footing and holds his shoulder for a moment, before seeing this is his chance and climbs the turnbuckle. Benoit balances himself and makes the cut throat taunt to a big pop then SOARS OFF AND CONNECTS WITH THE DIVING HEADBUTT! The impact takes it's toll on Benoit's dodgy shoulder though as he writhes in pain for a few moments, before rolling over and covering Cena 1...2...Cena kicks out! Benoit is surprised as is the crowd who were hoping for a win for Benoit there. Benoit quickly turns Cena over and SLAPS ON THE CROSSFACE! Benoit has it locked in, and Cena is in quite some pain. Nick Patrick asks Cena if he wants to give it up, but Cena refuses to as he stretches out his free arm and almost reaches the ropes. Cena uses his legs to shift his position and reaches out again and grabs the ropes! Nick Patrick breaks Benoit off the hold with the Crippler a little annoyed he didn't get Cena to tap there. Benoit stomps on Cena's back, then brings him up and shoots him to the ropes, knocking him down with his unique short hand clothesline. John Cena crawls towards the corner looking to escape Benoit's attentions but the Rabid Wolverine is all over him, coming right for him and striking him with a forearm shot. Benoit goes for another, but Cena grabs him by the trunks and pulls him into the turnbuckle! Benoit's head smacks the middle buckle and Cena stands up, taking Benoit up on his shoulders as he does again going for the FU, but Benoit grabs onto the ropes! Cena tries to get Benoit away from them but he can't manage to do so, so he improvises and drops down, catching Benoit with a Double Knee Gutbuster! Cover 1...2..Benoit kicks out. It's Cena's turn to get frustrated now as he slaps the mat and glares at Benoit. Cena gets to his feet and looks over to the corner and spots his Word Life chain! Cena goes over and picks the weapon up, wrapping it around his right fist, but Nick Patrick sees this and wrestles the weapon from Cena. As he hands it to Lilian Garcia on the outside however, Cena reaches into his trunks out pulls out one of his Knuckle Guards, puts it on AND SWINGS, BUT BENOIT CATCHES HIM AND APPLIES THE CROSSFACE ON CENA! The crowd erupts as Benoit locks on the deadly hold right in the middle of the ring, and Cena tries to battle towards the ropes, but Benoit leans back, increasing the pressure in the hold and CENA TAPS OUT!

Winner @ 11:34 - Chris Benoit

Benoit gets a hard earned victory over an impressive Cena tonight and advances to the final on SmackDown! this coming Thursday. Benoit favours his shoulder as he celebrates with the fans and we cut backstage

Lloyd: Ladies and gentlemen my guest at this time, The Rock!

Split reaction as Rocky steps into view

Lloyd: Rock, coming up you take on Scott Steiner, the question is after seeing Steiner continually over power you on RAW the last few weeks, are you ready for him tonight?

Rock looks at Lloyd with a "Did you really just ask me that, FUCKHEAD?" look and snatches the mic from him

Rock: FINALLY, THE ROCK HA-

Rock stops and smirks before continuing

Rock: Ah who's The Rock kidding, Worcester sucks!

Massive cheap heat

Rock: Mark Lloyd, you stand there and ask The Rock is he's ready? Do you think The Rock looks ready?

Lloyd stutters

Lloyd: We-well...

Rock: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!

Crowd marks for that

Rock: You see The Rock is ready. The Rock is ALWAYS ready. Scott Steiner, you wanna try save your name in this business by trying to one up The Rock? The Rock's had enough of you running your mouth about The Rock being a chicken, how you're gonna make The Rock your bitch tonight. Well The Rock says, as soon as you step foot into the ring with The Great One tonight, you're gonna find out just why The Rock is the greatest ever.

Mixed reaction for that

Rock: Coz The Rock is gonna lace up his boots real tight, give them a nice polish and shine, then after he's done whippin' your candy ass all across the Worcester Centrum, he's gonna take his right boot, turn that sum'bitch sideways and STICK IT STRAIGHT UP YOUR MONKEY ASS!

Another mixed reaction as a small "Rocky" chant breaks out

Rock: Then, The Rock's gonna plant you with The Rock Bottom, then he's gonna drop the most electrifying move in sports and entertainment, The HOLLYWOOD Elbow...

Heat for that, as Rock renames his trademark elbow drop

Rock: Right to your heart, and The Rock will have your number, and your nuts will become The Rock's personal property. So The Rock is ready, but Scott Steiner, are you ready, to go one on one with The Great One? Do you have the butterflies flying in your stomach? The goosebumps on your arms? The voice inside your head, second guessing your every move? The Rock thinks you do, and when you're in the ring with The Rock, he's gonna show all the whole world that you can't hang with The Brahma Bull!

Rock tilts his head back

Rock: IF YA SMELLLLLLLLL, WHAT THE ROCK, IS COOKIN!

Rock walks off as we switch focus to the locker of Team Angle. Kurt is pacing back and forth in deep thought as Benjamin & Haas sit on the bench, watching him, nobody saying a word. Angle says he can't believe his manager would just disappear for three weeks without contact. Angle tells Benji & Haas to go and find out where he is. He doesn't care how they do it, but get out there and find him. The WGTT leave as Angle reaches into his duffle bag and pulls out his phone. He dials a number (we can assume it's Heyman's) but he doesn't get a response, only going to his message bank. Angle grits his teeth in anger as the camera cuts back to ringside

*HOLLA, IF YA HEAR ME*

The crowd erupts as "Big Poppa Pump" makes his way out. Steiner poses for the camera, flexing his giant arms and kissing the tip of his muscle before getting into the ring and climbing the turnbuckle, taking off his chain link headwear and flexing once again

*YA SMELL IT CAN YA?*

The Rock's Hollywood music hits and out he comes to a mixed reaction, leaning more towards boo's than cheers. The Rock walks along the ring apron and climbs the turnbuckle, doing his usual pose as he raises his right arm into the air for another split reaction, before turning to Steiner and locking eyes with the "Big Booty Daddy"

Match 3
Singles Match
Scott Steiner vs The Rock

Charles Robinson rings the bell and the crowd is buzzing for the first ever meeting between two of the most popular superstars of the Attitude Era, The Rock from the WWF and Scott Steiner who plied most of his trade with WCW. As the two men stare each other down, a loud "Steiner" chant breaks out. Steiner & Rock come face to face and there's a bit of trash talking before the two step back and then lock up, grappling each other for position. Rock tries to push Steiner, but he doesn't budge and then STEINER SHOVES THE ROCK ACROSS THE RING! The crowd pops as Rock tumbles backwards, unable to match Steiner's power and Steiner takes the opportunity to show off the guns once more to a a big cheer from the fans. Rock gets to his feet and comes at Steiner, with the two tying up again. There's a big more of a struggle as Rock actually manages to wrestle Steiner backwards, but Steiner's just playing with Rock as he again SHOVES HIM BACK DOWN WITH EASE! The Rock gets up again, looking Steiner and acknowledging he's not gonna get the better of his power game, but then surprisingly offers Steiner another tie up. Poppa Pump smirks and accepts it, but Rock cheaply kicks Steiner in the gut, out smarting Steiner. Rock then smacks him with a hard right hand, and another, and another, then shoots Steiner to the ropes and goes to put the shoulder to Steiner, but Steiner does likewise and knocks Rock down instead! Rock gets back up to his feet and Steiner flattens him with a Steinerline. The Rock again is quick back to his feet but a little groggy and Steiner clotheslines him over the top rope out to the floor! The Rock is being out done by Steiner here and isn't happy about it, glaring at Steiner as inside the ring, Steiner drops to all fours and starts doing some PUSHUPS to a mark out reaction from the crowd, as he trash talks The Rock calling him a "big sissy". The Rock gets back on the ring apron and the fans start a "Rocky Sucks" chant, which the Brahma Bull tries to stop, but in doing so, takes his eyes off Steiner who grabs him and LIFTS HIM OVER THE ROPE BACK INTO THE RING! Steiner then drops an elbow to The Rock and covers 1...kickout.

Steiner brings The Rock back up and shoots him to the ropes, then catches him, pops the hips and takes Rock down with an impressive Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex! Steiner makes a cover 1...2..shoulder up by The Rock. Scott Steiner drops down by The Rock and again starts some PUSHUPS to another mark out reaction as he says "Come on Rock, come on Great One". The Rock rolls out of the ring not wanting anything to do with Steiner but Poppa Pump is right after him, grabbing him from behind and introducing The Rock's face into the RAW announce table. Steiner puts the boot to the gut of The Rock and then goes to slam Rock's face into the table again, but Rocky is able to block it, fire a shot to the gut of Steiner and return the favour as Steiner's face smacks off the table top. Rock leathers Steiner with a right hand, and then another before whipping Steiner into the barricade, with the Big Booty Daddy's back absorbing the punishment. Steiner however basically no sells that as he comes back and flattens Rock with a Steinerline! Steiner rolls The Rock back into the ring and the former People's Champ backs away from him, wanting no part of Steiner, but all Steiner does is laugh at The Rock and clobber him with a right hand. Steiner pushes Rock back into the corner and lifts a knee into the midsection, then repeats it, and delivers a third knee before Charles Robinson gets in the way and breaks up his grip on The Rock. Steiner audibly tells Robinson to "Shut the fuck up" to a huge pop from the fans close enough to hear it, but The Rock takes advantage of Steiner's lapse in concentration and hits him with a right hand, then another, and then another as he battles out of the corner. Rock hits another right hand and then tries to shoot Steiner to the ropes, but Steiner reverses it and sends Rocky to the ropes. Rock rebounds off them and comes flying back, knocking Steiner down with a Flying Forearm Smash! The Rock for some stupid reason covers Steiner but doesn't even get a one count before Steiner's kicking out. Rocky connects with a right hand to Steiner then shoots him to the ropes and catches him with a Grecko Roman Overhead Throw! Hook of the leg from Rocky 1...Steiner kicks out again.

The Rock starts to turn the match in his favour now, taking Steiner to the ring ropes, placing his neck across the middle rope and using his foot to push Steiner down onto the rope, choking him. Charles Robinson reaches his count of 5 and forces Rock to break the hold, with The Rock getting frustrated and swatting the air in front of Robinson, causing him to jump back. The Rock turns back to Steiner and delivers one of his trademark shaking kicks to the side of Steiner, then this time uses his hands to apply Steiner's neck down onto the ropes. Once again at the count of 5 it's broken up and this time The Rock is more than happy to oblige by Robinson's request as he backs off and then drops to the mat and BEGINS TO MOCK STEINER WITH PUSHUPS OF HIS OWN! This gets a mixed reaction from the fans as some find it hilarious whilst other's boo. The Rock stalks Steiner now, setting up for an early finish it seems and as Steiner regains his footing and turns around into the ROCK BOTTOM...NO! Steiner elbows Rocky away to break the hold! Rock staggers away holding his head and Steiner charges at him, but Rock sees it coming and takes Steiner down with a Samoan Drop! Cover 1...2..kickout by Steiner. As The Rock gets back to his feet another "Rocky Sucks" chant begins and The Rock pretends to be hurt by the fans' treatment of him, before he socks a recovering Steiner with a right hand. The Rock then applies a side headlock to Steiner in the center of the ring. Time goes by as The Rock keeps the hold on wearing down Steiner, before Steiner shoves Rock away into the ropes. Rock rebounds off them and comes back looking to shoulder block Steiner, but Steiner stiffens up and ends up knocking The Rock over! Rock gets back to his feet a little woozy and Steiner hooks him up and plants him with a Double Underhook Suplex! Cover 1...2..shoulder up by The Rock.

Steiner pulls himself up and takes a moment to catch a breath, then brings The Rock to his feet and Military Presses him into the air! Steiner shows tremendous power to hold Rock up for about five seconds before he dumps him on his back, with Rocky selling the move well, clutching at his lower back. Steiner now attempts to apply the STEINER RECLINER but The Rock immediately grabs the ropes and saves himself from the hold as Steiner is forced to break it up by Robinson. Steiner grabs The Rock and looks to load him up with an Exploder Suplex! Steiner covers Rocky 1...2...Rock kicks out again! Steiner turns to referee Robinson and again let's a bomb slip as he says "What the fuck was that?" in response to Robinson's count speed. Mini Naitch holds the two up to Steiner who puts his hands on hips and shakes his head looking down at The Rock. Poppa Pump helps The Rock to his feet again and whips him to the ropes, but lowers his head too early and Rock puts on the breaks and drops him with the People's DDT! Rocky takes Steiner down with his trademark move and THEN KIPS BACK UP TO HIS FEET! The crowd pops for that as The Rock stalks Steiner, the veteran slowly recovering from the DDT, and Rock is urging him back up. Steiner gets up, ROCK TURNS HIM AROUND AND GOES FOR THE ROCK BOTTOM...NO! Again Steiner elbows The Rock away and saves himself. Scott Steiner rebounds off the ropes AND RIGHT INTO THE SPINEBUSTER FROM THE ROCK! The crowd come alive knowing what's coming as The Rock stands above a fallen Steiner, loosening his elbow pad. Rock removes the pad and is about to throw it into the crowd, but stops and just drops it on the mat to huge heat from the fans, laughing at them before he springs off the ropes, AND CONNECTS WITH THE HOLLYWOOD ELBOW! Rock makes the cover on Steiner 1...2...NO! Steiner gets a shoulder up! The crowd erupts and The Rock can't believe it, wide eyed in disbelief as he turns to Charles Robinson and holds up a 3, but the ref shakes his head telling Rocky it was only 2. The Rock slowly gets to his feet and takes a deep breath, then crouches down, signalling it's time for the Rock Bottom again. Rock moves ever so slightly forward as Steiner begins to stir again. Scott Steiner gets to his feet and turns around, Rock pulls him in for the ROCK BOTTOM...BUT STEINER COUNTERS AND BRINGS THE ROCK DOWN WITH THE FLATLINER! The Flatliner out of no where on The Rock, and the crowd pops big time. However after copping the Hollywood Elbow, Steiner takes some time to make the cover, but he does after a momentary pause as the fans chant the count 1...2...FOOT ON THE ROPES! The Rock saves himself with an instinctive move. This time it's Steiner to look shocked as he looks up to the roof of the arena and mouths "Shit" in frustration.

Steiner grabs The Rock and brings him to his feet and hits him with a right hand, causing The Rock to nearly go back down, but he is able to steady himself and then socks Steiner back with a hard right of his own. Steiner retaliates with another right hand, and The Rock does likewise. Steiner again fires back with another right, and then grabs Rock, looking for a patented Belly to Belly Suplex, but Rocky claps his hands to the sides of Steiner's head to get separation, THEN GRABS STEINER AND PLANTS HIM WITH A ROCK BOTTOM! Just like that, The Rock pulls it out and he hooks both legs of Poppa Pump back as Charles Robinson counts the fall 1...2...3!

Winner @ 14:36 - The Rock

It's a mixed reaction as The Rock wins the match, but Steiner was very impressive tonight compared to his previous PPV showings. JR & King compliment the two on a hell of a fight as The Rock regains his footing and mounts the turnbuckle, raising his right hand in the air and soaking up the fairly positive response from the crowd

Goldberg is standing by with The Coach. Coach asks Goldberg what we can expect tonight in regards to the main event. Just as The Berg goes to speak, HE'S AMBUSHED BY RANDY ORTON! Orton hammers away on a stunned Goldberg with rights and lefts, but as Goldberg battles back to his feet and begins trading blows with Orton, Randy is quick to rake the eyes of Goldberg and run off, with Goldberg giving chase once his vision is restored. The camera man desperately tries to keep up with things as The Berg picks up speed, which means Orton has to aswell as he turns down a hall and barges past a few lower card wrestlers in Al Snow and Tommy Dreamer, before he barges through a set of double doors and out into the PARKING LOT! Orton turns around and Goldberg comes through the doors saying "Where you gonna go now Randy?" and moves in on Orton, but BATISTA, FLAIR & TRIPLE H JUMP HIM FROM NO-WHERE! The four members of Evolution stomp and kick and punch away at Goldberg, doing a real number on "Da Man" back in the parking lot. Triple H then whistles and says "bring it here" and we see a black four door sedan reverse into view. The four members of Evolution continue to beat down Goldberg, then a couple of fairly muscular guys step out of the car, one pops open the boot and the three men load a unconscious Goldberg into the boot, shut it and the driver locks it. Triple H pulls a wad of cash out of his pocket and hands it to the driver and says "Take care of it" to which he nods in acknowledgement and hops back into the car, starts the ignition and speeds off out of the carpark and out into the night as the camera swings back to Evolution looking pleased with themselves, especially Triple H

We cut back to ringside and JR & King both are going nuts, as do Cole & Tazz next to them over this situation. JR lambasts Triple H calling him a "no good son of a bitch" as King praises the ingenuity of Evolution

*BIG*

The Big Show makes his way out to heat from the fans. Show steps over the top rope into the ring and throws him his right hand to more heat

*VIVA LA RAZA*

Eddie Guerrero gets a good pop from the fans as he cautiously heads to the ring, knowing he's got a tough time ahead in The Big Show. An "Eddie" chant breaks out as he gets into the ring and climbs the turnbuckle, playing to the crowd

Match 4
United States Championship Tournament; Semi Final #2
Eddie Guerrero vs The Big Show

Eddie hits and runs early on, using his mobility and speed advantage to frustrate Big Show, but he's not even able to knock Show off his feet with any of the strikes or clotheslines he pulls off. Guerrero does finally get Show down with a Missile Dropkick and covers 1..BIG SHOW THROWS GUERRERO OFF HIM AND OUT THROUGH THE ROPES! Show shows off his far superior strength and size and it's a trait that repeats during the match as Eddie attempts to take the fight to Show with right hands, but Show blocks one and delivers a head butt to Eddie, knocking him down! Show then rebounds off the ropes and DROPS A LEG...BUT EDDIE MOVES! Eddie saves himself from being flattened by the tree trunk legs of the Big Show, and quickly takes advantage of Show being on his backside, grabbing him by the head and flipping over him, snapping the neck back! Eddie covers 1...kickout by Show.
Guerrero comically tries to whip Show to the ropes, but it's easily countered by Show who then pulls Eddie back towards him and goozles him going for the SHOWSTOPPER...BUT EDDIE SLIPS OUT THE SIDE AND SCORES WITH A BIG ENZUIGURI! Crowd pops for the counter and Guerrero covers 1...2.shoulder up.
Guerrero quickly gets onto the apron and with Show down, vaults over the ropes back into the ring with a Tope Atomico! Guerrero covers Show again 1...2.kickout again. Eddie has the crowd firmly behind him as another "Eddie" chant breaks out. Guerrero climbs the turnbuckle again and waits for Show to get back up, then flies off looking for a HURRICANRANA...BUT SHOW CATCHES IT, POWERS EDDIE UP AND SLAMS HIM DOWN WITH A POWERBOMB! Shattering impact that causes a groan from the fans as Eddie is folded up like an accordion. Show covers Eddie 1...2..kickout! Show dominates from here on as he brings Eddie up and drops him with the Hog Drop. Another cover 1...2...shoulder up by Eddie.

The match continues on as Show stays in control, exposing Eddie's chest and delivering those open hand slaps, each one echoing around the arena to a "Woo". Show then grabs Eddie and throws him across the ring. After some more bossing Eddie around Big Show motions it's time to end it and brings Guerrero up but Eddie resourcefully is able to connect with a Jaw Breaker! Show staggers back as Eddie brings himself up and grabs Show by the arm, runs up the turnbuckle and then turns around and leaps off, TAKING SHOW DOWN WITH A TORNADO DDT! Eddie covers 1...2...NO! Show kicks out.
Eddie sees his chance to take the match and heads up to the top rope again, the crowd knowing what's coming as he leaps off with the FROG SPLASH...BUT SHOW GETS HIS KNEES UP! Eddie crashes onto Show's knees and rolls away, holding them in pain. The crowd is deflated by that as Show gets to his feet and looks a little angry. Show tells us he means business and he pulls his strap from around his shoulder. Eddie gets to his feet and backs into Show who loads him up and plants him with a Sideslam! Cover 1...2..kickout by Guerrero. Show brings Eddie back up and throws him into the corner and puts his big boot up in Guerrero's neck, choking Latino Heat. After Jimmy Korderas reaches his count of five he tells Show to break it up and Show stops the choke and pulls his arm back, winding up for another open hand chop, but his elbow catches Korderas in the face! The ref stumbles away, temporarily blinded unbeknownst to Show who slaps Guerrero across the chest. Eddie drops to his knees and rolls out of the ring. Show steps over the top rope and follows him outside. Guerrero scurries away and grabs a steel chair looking to defend himself, but Show closes in on him, causing Eddie to leap onto the SmackDown! announce table and run across it, then around the corner and back into the ring. Eddie still has the chair in hand and realises Korderas is having vision trouble as Show gets back into the ring saying "Where you gonna go now?" Guerrero looks at the ref then back at Show who stands there, daring Eddie to come at him with the chair. Guerrero then takes the chair and HITS IT AGAINST THE CANVAS AND CHUCKS IT TO SHOW WHO CATCHES IT, AND GUERRERO LIES DOWN ON THE MAT! Show's confused by what's gone on and miraculously for Eddie the ref Jimmy Korderas has regained his vision and sees Show standing there with the chair in hand, and Eddie on the ground and CALLS FOR THE BELL, BELIEVING SHOW HAD HIT EDDIE WITH THE CHAIR!

Winner @ 8:28 via DQ - Eddie Guerrero

Show is dumbfounded as Eddie quickly rolls out of the ring and then realises what's happened and drops the chair, trying to plead his innocence as Eddie scurries up the ramp, having out smarted his bigger opponent and living by his motto of "Lie, Cheat and Steal". The crowd is laughing at Show who is beside himself in the ring telling Korderas he never hit Guerrero with the chair, but the ref is hearing none of it!

Backstage now and Booker T gives us one hell of a promo ahead of the WHC Cage match tonight, Booker says all his life he's been the underdog, he's been fighting the odds and tonight is his last chance to show that he belongs in the big time. He says he wasn't a five time WCW Champion by luck, he deserved every reign. Booker says tonight Triple H is gonna have to bring his very best because the Book is gonna leave everything he has in the ring tonight, and the crowd digs that as a "Booker T" chant starts up. Booker finishes off his promo by coining his catch phrase asking Trips if he can dig it, SUCKA?

JR & King talk about Booker with JR full of praise for him but King of course degrading the Book due to his past and saying he's not in Triple H's league

*NO CHANCE IN HELL*

Vince McMahon makes his way out to huge heat from the fans and it seems that it's time to find out what Vince's big announcement is. JR & King hype it up before they hand things over to Cole & Tazz again and the two SD! announcers discuss what Vince could possibly be about to tell us and remind us that his daughter and the GM of SmackDown! Stephanie could be suffering from this after Vince has been upset with her the last few weeks on SmackDown!

Vince: Now I ha-

Vince is cut off by an "Asshole" chant

Vince: SHADDUP!

Major heat for Vinnie Mac

Vince: If I can have the attention of all you ungrateful people for the next few minutes...

More heat for that as Vince looks smug with himself

Vince: I have something important to announce. Something so important, it will change the landscape of the WWE forever!

Vince pauses

Vince: But before I go any further, I would like the General Managers of both RAW and SmackDown! to please join me in the ring.

With that said, Eric Bischoff makes his way out first to huge heat from the fans. Bischoff pretends to be hurt by the jeers and then laughs it off. Stephanie McMahon follows out to a big cheer from the fans and plenty of whistles from the guys as she's clad in a short, tight skirt and has DEM TITS showing off in a cleavage hugging top. Bischoff and Steph get into the ring, mics in hand, Bischoff is quick to suck it to Vince with a handshake

Bischoff: Vince let me just say I can't wait for the big announcement, I'm truly excited.

Boo's for the Bisch as he grins that ever so cheesy grin of his

Vince: Errr, thank you Eric...

Vince then turns to Steph who's standing there, arms folded, not saying a word

Vince: Are you not even going to say hello to your father, huh?

Steph shakes her head to a pop from the fans which infuriates Vince

Vince: Fine, I'll deal with you later.

Steph doesn't seem fazed by her fathers threat as she has the last few weeks on SmackDown!, maybe she's just putting on a brave face

Vince: Now as you know the last few weeks I've told everyone that tonight I will make an announcement that is going to change this company and how it's going to effect both RAW and SmackDown!

Few cheers

Vince: It's going to change everything from here on in. Because as of our next pay per view, Judgment Day, pay per views will become brand exclusive!

The crowd isn't sure how to react to that, with most surely thinking "is that it?"

Vince: How about that, huh? Starting with Judgment Day, which will be a SmackDown! exclusive PPV, you're gonna get more chances to see your favourite superstars!

The crowd voices their displeasure at this, with Vince looking pleased with himself, Bischoff off course applauds Vince's announcement to get in his good books whilst Steph rolls her eyes

Vince: Oh what, is that not good enough for you people?

An emphatic "NO" is the answer from the crowd

Vince: Well it's lucky that I don't give a crap what you people want!

Major heat

Vince: What were you expecting? A new championship? A new superstar?

Cheers

Vince: Well too damn bad!

Heat and Vince now turns to Stephanie McMahon

Vince: And now, Stephanie, my daughter. My own flesh and blood. These past few weeks, you've made me regret ever making you the General Manager of SmackDown!

Boo's

Vince: The disrespect you've shown to me, your own father has been unacceptable. All those silly little videos you've sanctioned to air during time I was supposed to have on SmackDown! ar-

Steph: Oh Dad, listen to the crowd. Once again your ego has driven you to levels of insanity. You hyped this announcement up as the biggest thing this company has seen, a landscape changing event, and yes while it may change things, it's nothing that you couldn't have posted on WWE.com!

Pop

Steph: But you and your ego, you wanted the spotlight on you. You wanted it all to be about you. You don't care who it ticks off, as long as you get your fill, you're happy. And the fans, you had them all excited, for something as small as this.

Steph stops and shakes her head as Vince looks at her with a quizzical stare, wondering where she's going with this

Steph: Luckily for the great fans of the WWE...

Cut off by a huge cheap pop

Steph: I've got something they're gonna be happy about. You see those videos you kept interrupting over the past month, were about a certain superstar and their impending debut on SmackDown!

Big cheer

Steph: And I worked so hard on securing his signature to this brand, and then for you to go and sabotage it, well, he's not happy. In fact, he's pretty pissed off. Not with me, but you.

Vince looks a little worried

Vince: Well I-I'm sure th-that we can work this all out over the phone, give me his number an-

Steph: Oh I don't think so Dad. Because he's here, tonight, in this very arena.

The crowd starts to buzz at this news

Vince: Really? Here, now?

Steph: That's right.

Steph smiles and Vince gulps looking a little flustered

Vince: We-well, who is it then?

Steph goes to answer but then walks over to Vince's ear and whispers into it, and Vince looks like he's about to break down and cry as

*GLASS SHATTERS*

The crowd goes APESHIT and Vince puts his head in his hands, and Eric Bischoff's bottom lip trembles as STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN makes his way out on stage with the crowd going insane, the ovation is deafening for the Texas Rattlesnake! Cole & Tazz are both marking like little girls and we see JR & King standing behind their table applauding as Austin heads to the ring with a big smile on his face. Austin gets into the ring and salutes the fans on the turnbuckle before hopping down and grinning a wide grin at Vince who's frozen in fear it seems. Austin heads across the ring and climbs the corner again raising the double bird high to the crowd who are still going bonkers. Austin hops down and turns around and is looking right at Eric Bischoff! Bischoff puts his hands up, pleading with Austin not to do anything, and Austin smiles at him, THEN FLIPS HIM OFF AND GIVES HIM THE STUNNER! The crowd erupts as Austin drops Bischoff. Stephanie McMahon is standing back, watching it all with a huge smile on her face as Austin stands in front of Vince, who's shaking, frozen to the spot. Austin can't help but laugh at Vince. Stone Cold paces back and forth with Vince not moving an inch, his eyes filled with terror. Austin then stops and looks into the crowd who go wild for him again, and then he turns back to Vince, who brings the mic to his trembling mouth

Vince: P-pl-please...please don't...

Austin smirks and shrugs his shoulders, THEN BOOTS VINCE IN THE GUT AND DROPS HIM WITH A STUNNER! The crowd erupts as Austin drops down beside Vince and gets in his face talking trash like classic Stone Cold. Austin gets to his feet and a booming "Austin" chant is circling. Stone Cold then takes the mic Vince dropped

Austin: If ya wanna see Stone Cold Steve Austin go to SmackDown! and open up a can of whoop ass, GIMME A HELL YEAH?

HELL YEAH from the crowd

Austin: Then let's toast to the new era!

Austin drops his mic and calls for a couple of cold ones as the Steveweisers are launched into the ring. Austin hands one to Steph and the two toast with Austin guzzling his down, Steph taking a sip. Austin frowns at her and she sees this is upsetting Austin, so she tilts her head back and pours it down her throat to a big cheer from the crowd. She stops after a few sips looking a bit tipsy as Austin calls for a few more and begins toasting to the crowd and skulling the beers down on the turnbuckle as Steph exits the ring and leaves SmackDown!'s newest addition to do his thing with the fans as Cole & Tazz are still going crazy about Austin being on the blue brand now

We now see Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash backstage talking things over ahead of the Intercontinental Championship Battle Royal that's coming up. The two point out they're friends till the end, but if it comes down to just them then may the best man win. We then change to see Jericho & Christian also taking through the match and then it switches to RVD & Kane, followed by Evolution, as JR & King begin to hype it up

*TATTOO*

Maven jumps out on stage all pumped up and ready, receiving a good face reaction here in Worcester, his win over Flair on RAW definitely catapulting his popularity somewhat

*DANGER AT THE DOOR*

D'Lo Brown and Mark Henry make their way out with their manager Teddy Long. Thuggin' and Buggin' get some decent heat from the fans as they taunt them on their way to the ring

*STAND BACK, THERE'S A HURRICANE COMIN' THROUGH*

Out comes the super hero The Hurricane. He incurs the laughter of The King who asks "who entered the Hamburglar in this match?

*TOP OF MY CLASS*

Chris Nowinski's music hits and out comes the egotistical Harvard graduate, smug as ever in his own ability despite doing nothing of note in his career so far (except being Scott Steiner's bitch at SS 02)

*LOADED*

The enigmatic and oddly attired Jeff Hardy is out next to a decent pop. Hardy's got the unusual face point on again which Nowinski finds hilarious as Jeff climbs the turnbuckle and plays to the crowd

*MAN IN THE BOX*

A mark reaction for the ECW legend Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer has his trademark Kendo Stick with him but the referee's tell him he can't use it in the match, Dreamer relinquishing it to them before getting in the ring

William Regal and Lance Storm, the former Tag Team Champions make their way out to fairly strong heat from the fans. The duo wave their British and Canadian flags around, which the crowd responds with a "USA" chant

*PYRO*
*SLOW CHEMICAL*

The crowd erupts with a huge pop as the ever popular Kane makes his way to the ring, tightening his glove, ready for action. Kane gets into the ring and the rest of the superstars exit as one, as Kane let's his pyro's off from the four corners, which causes a few flinches from some of the guys on the outside

*ONE OF A KIND*
*PYRO*

Another huge pop as Rob Van Dam steps out on stage and points to himself as his name is announced by The Fink. RVD gets into the ring and knocks knuckles with his partner Kane

*AT LAST*

There's no vocal intro to Christian's music tonight, with the Canadian undergoing a gimmick change of sorts lately from the bratty spoilt youngster to the charismatic, cocky loudmouth. Christian has kept his hair short after having it cut last week before RAW and he walks to the ring with a new found swagger. He eyes up Stacy Kiebler, making some suggestive gestures towards her which doesn't go down well with Test who stands in his woman's way and causes Christian to back off

*LINE IN THE SAND*

Motorhead's rocking tune blares through the speakers as Ric Flair, Batista & Randy Orton of Evolution make their way out together. The three men get into the ring and get into a group hug of sorts in the corner

*WOLFPACK*

It's a pretty big pop as Big Sexy Kevin Nash trudges out on stage and throws up the right hand high in the air. He's ditched the Diesel music and gone with a more Wolfpack attire aswell with the red on black trunks from his WCW days. Nash slowly walks towards the ring, his eyes fixated on Evolution

The camera cuts from Jericho's titantron to reveal Y2J on stage, back to the camera with his arms extended as always. Jericho turns around and bigs himself up, showing off to the camera and talking some trash to a few fans with a "Y2Gay" sign before he takes it from them and rips it up

*SEXY BOY*

The final entrant receives the biggest cheer so far as Shawn Michaels dances out on stage, playing to the fans as usual. HBK gets into the ring and sides with Nash as the ring fills up and we're about to get underway

Match 5

Shawn Michaels vs Kevin Nash vs Rob Van Dam vs Kane vs Maven vs Test vs Goldust vs The Hurricane vs Jeff Hardy vs Tommy Dreamer vs Chris Jericho vs Christian vs Randy Orton vs Batista vs Ric Flair vs Lance Storm vs William Regal vs Chris Nowinski vs D'Lo Brown vs Mark Henry

The match kicks off with a chaotic start as HBK goes after Jericho, Test after Christian and Kevin Nash leads a big pack in attack of Evolution! It remains like this for a couple of minutes with everyone just striking anything in sight and then amongst the brawling Tommy Dreamer is sent flying by Batista and becomes the first elimination after barely two minutes on the clock

Eliminated @ 2:04 - Tommy Dreamer

Chris Nowinski is working over HBK with Jericho in the corner and Nowinski then holds Michaels and tells Jericho to clothesline him. Y2J does so, but HBK frees himself from Nowinski's grip and Jericho ends up clotheslining Nowinski out!

Eliminated @ 2:56 - Chris Nowinski

Jericho doesn't seem too bothered by then but turns around AND COPS A SWEET CHIN MUSIC RIGHT ON THE JAW, CAUSING HIM TO TUMBLE OUT OVER THE TOP ROPE! JERICHO IS ELIMINATED ALREADY!

Eliminated @ 3:00 - Chris Jericho

It's a huge shock as HBK gets rid of one of the favourites. HBK is then attacked by Christian from behind. We see Kevin Nash doing a number on Randy Orton in the corner before Batista and Flair come to the youngsters aid, and the three members of Evolution attempt to tip Nash over the ropes, but Maven makes the save as he attacks Flair from behind and pairs off with Naitch, allowing Nash to battle out of his precarious position with some elbow strikes to Batista and Orton. The Hurricane is battling with Lance Storm, trying to get rid of Mr. Personality, but William Regal sneaks up on the Super Hero and dumps Hurricane out of the ring!

Eliminated @ 4:01 - The Hurricane

Regal turns around and RVD SCORES WITH A FLYING KICK FROM THE TOP ROPE! Regal is down after that but RVD barely has time to recover as Christian grabs him from behind and THROWS HIM OUT...BUT RVD HOLDS ONTO THE ROPES AND SURVIVES! Christian celebrates, thinking he's gotten rid of RVD but Jeff Hardy is quickly on the attack. We see Kane laying into D'Lo Brown in the corner but Mark Henry swats Maven down and then clubs Kane from behind with Thuggin' and Buggin' teaming up and trying to eliminate Kane.
Meanwhile on the outside Jericho has recovered and is irate, tearing off the protective cover from the barricade in a rage after copping the early exit. He walks around to the time keepers area and pushes Finkel off his chair, folds it up and enters the ring. Jericho sees HBK fighting with Lance Storm and BLASTS HBK ACROSS THE BACK WITH THE STEEL CHAIR! HBK drops to his knees and JERICHO NAILS HIM ON THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH THE CHAIR! Ungodly impact from that shot echoes around the arena as Jericho begins to pummel on a lifeless HBK as the referee's in Mike Chioda and Chad Patton enter the ring and pull Jericho off, telling him to get out. Jericho exits the ring and raises his hands up proud of his work to major heat from the fans and CHRISTIAN PICKS HBK UP AND TOSSES HIM OUT OF THE RING!

Eliminated @ 5:23 - Shawn Michaels

Huge heat for Michaels' elimination and Jericho goes right back onto him, beating HBK to a bloody pulp on the outside. Kevin Nash sees this and looks to help his friend but is mobbed by Evolution! The trio beat down on Nash and stop him from helping his friend as Jericho drags Michaels up the ramp and levels him with another right hand. Jericho then goes back to ringside and grabs the steel chair again, walks back over to a downed Michaels and SLAMS IT DOWN ON HBK'S LEFT LEG! Jericho then lifts the chair into the air AND DROPS IT DOWN AGAIN! AND AGAIN! AND AGAIN! Jericho must do this atleast fifteen times before security appear to restrain him and attend to Michaels who's holding his ankle in some pain. Jericho finally leaves to the back with the damage done as Michaels is helped backstage, unable to put any weight on his left leg.
Back inside the ring, Goldust is taking it to Regal in the corner, and then he yells at Jeff Hardy, before dropping to all fours and assisting Hardy as he runs up, leaps off Goldy's back and hits the Poetry In Motion to Regal! Goldust and Jeff Hardy high five each other before both having the same idea and kicking each other in the gut! Meanwhile Kane battles off Henry & D'Lo as Teddy long barks at his boys to keep on him, but Henry eats a Big Boot and then D'Lo gets a goozle and KANE THROWS HIM OVER THE TOP AND OUT TO THE FLOOR!

Eliminated @ 6:41 - D'Lo Brown

Mark Henry gets back to his feet and Kane goozles the World's Strongest Man and plants him with an impressive CHOKESLAM FROM HELL! We now see RVD go up top and leap off, CONNECTING WITH THE FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH TO HENRY! RVD rolls away holding his ribs whilst Kane, Goldust, Jeff Hardy, Maven and Test haul Mark Henry up and after a bit of a struggle eliminate him!

Eliminated @ 7:03 - Mark Henry

Kevin Nash meanwhile is trading blows with Batista in the opposite corner, Nash gets the better of the Animal by raising a knee to the gut of Batista and then looks to load him up with the JACKKNIFE POWERBOMB...but Orton comes to Batista's rescue hitting Nash with a dropkick, taking the big man down. Ric Flair meanwhile is unloading on young Maven with a bunch of stinging knife edge chops. Flair stops the treatment to let out a "Woo" to the crowd who respond in kind. Flair then begins to strut his stuff as the crowd marks out, but Flair struts right into a right hand from Maven. Maven now takes it to Flair and looks to be on the verge of eliminating him when FLAIR POKES THE EYES! Regal & Storm are doing a number on RVD whilst Kane is hammering away on Goldust. Jeff Hardy comes up behind Orton, spins him around AND NAILS THE TWIST OF FATE! Hardy now climbs the top turnbuckle BUT CHRISTIAN SHOVES HIM OFF AND JEFF CRASHES ONTO THE BARRICADE! Jeff's gone!

Eliminated @ 7:56 - Jeff Hardy

Christian taunts Hardy and turns around right into Test! The crowd pops as Test gets his hands on Christian and begins to take him to school with some big right hands, then Military Presses him into the air and drops Christian front first to the mat! Kane meanwhile leaves Goldust and fights Regal & Storm off of RVD. Kane shoots Storm to the ropes and catches him with a Tilt-A-Whirl Back Breaker! Regal hits Kane in the back of the head and then kicks out Kane's leg, bringing him down to his knees where he proceeds to lay a few left's into Kane. RVD pulls himself up and looks to kick Regal but William Regal catches RVD's foot, only for Van Dam to nail the Step Over Spinning Wheel Kick! Lance Storm struggles back to his feet and TEST WIPES HIM OUT WITH A BIG BOOT! Test picks Storm up and throws him out, Storm's gone!

Eliminated @ 9:11 - Lance Storm

Evolution now set their sights on Kane and begin assaulting him, having beaten Nash down in the corner. RVD comes to his partners aid, firing rights at Orton, whilst Maven is back and again takes the fight to Flair. Meanwhile Goldust grabs Christian and sets him up in the corner, spreading his legs behind the middle ropes. Goldust pumps the crowd up then runs in and delivers the GOLDEN GLOBES to Christian! The eyes in Christian's head nearly pop out as he falls out of position and holds his groin in some pain, and Goldust picks Christian up and THROWS HIM OUT BUT CHRISTIAN HANGS ON! Goldust notices this and runs at Christian, only for Christian to step aside and low bridge the top rope, GOLDUST TUMBLES OUT TO THE FLOOR!

Eliminated @ 9:41 - Goldust

Christian gets back in the ring and flops to the mat as Kevin Nash is back up and he smashes Maven with a forearm shot, then Ric Flair too. William Regal boots Nash in the gut and stupidly thinks he can Piledrive the much bigger Nash, which costs him as Nash elevates Regal over his shoulders and over the top rope! Regal's out back first

Eliminated @ 10:09 - William Regal

Nash then sees Orton coming at him and levels him with a forearm smash, and suddenly it's Kevin Nash and Kane standing tall in the ring with everyone else down! The two big men lock eyes as the crowd likes what they see, Kane and Nash edge closer to each other, neither man blinking and the crowd starts a "Let's go Sexy" chant which is countered by a "Let's go Kane" chant. The two exchange a few words and Nash strikes first with a forearm smash, and Kane retaliates with a big right hand. Nash comes back with another forearm smash and again Kane returns with a right hand. The two go back and forth and eventually it's Kane who gets the upper hand with his strikes. Kane then goes to shoot Nash to the ropes but Big Sexy reverses it. Kane hits the ropes and Nash goes for a Big Boot, but Kane ducks under, rebounds off the other side and takes Nash down with a big lariat! Kane now makes the cut throat sign and waits for Nash to get up before scooping him up going for the TOMBSTONE...but Nash elbows Kane in the face ferociously getting free. Kane staggers away and Evolution pounce! The trio drive Kane back to the ropes and are able to eliminate him!

Eliminated @ 11:25 - Kane

Huge heat for Evolution eliminating Kane, leaving us four faces and four heels. Christian groups with Evolution and suggests an alliance to which Evolution agree, as Kevin Nash, RVD, Maven & Test all stand across from them. There's a few moments of trash talk as the crowd eggs the faces on and finally the brawl breaks out as Orton goes for Test, Christian for Maven, Batista for Nash and Flair for RVD. The pairs each fight towards a corner. A loud "RVD" chant breaks out as Van Dam places a few kicks to Flair's midsection then leaps up and nails one right on the temple. Flair staggers out of the corner and FLOPS TO THE MAT in trademark fashion. RVD then rebounds off the ropes and delivers the Rolling Thunder! Maven meanwhile has Christian teetering, and Nash is struggling with Batista. Orton rakes the eyes of Test and then sees RVD get up after the Rolling Thunder, sneaking up on him and trying to eliminate him, BUT RVD REVERSES IT AND TOSSES ORTON OVER THE TOP ROPE...BUT ORTON GRABS THE MIDDLE ROPE AND JUST HANGS ON! Orton is so close to touching the ground but he's able to hold on and save himself. Kevin Nash springs off the ropes but BATISTA PLANTS HIM WITH A SPINEBUSTER! Batista gets to his feet only for Test to club him from behind and in a huge show of strength TEST LOADS UP BATISTA AND HITS THE PUMP HANDLE SLAM! Test gets up and CHRISTIAN CLOTHESLINES HIM OUT AND HIS FEET HIT THE FLOOR! Test's eliminated!

Eliminated @ 12:12 - Test

Ric Flair sneaks up on Christian and tries to eliminate him, but Maven comes from no where AND DUMPS OUT FLAIR! Christian is able to hold on but Flair is gone!

Eliminated @ 12:38 - Ric Flair

Once again the young Maven has gotten the better of Flair who's incensed on the outside. Christian meanwhile turns to Stacy Kiebler and licks his lips at her, telling her she "deserves a winner". Christian takes his eye off the match and almost pays for it as RVD grabs him and tries to eliminate him, but Christian's all over the ropes holding on for dear life. Batista and Orton meanwhile have Maven cornered now, ready to make him pay for eliminating Flair and they both go for him, but Maven ducks under their grasp, and the two turn around into a double clothesline from Nash! Big Sexy brings Batista up and takes him to the corner as Maven rocks Orton with a right hand then goes to rebound off the ropes, but FLAIR GRABS HIS FOOT! Maven turns to Flair and tries to lean over and grab Naitch who backs away and Maven turns back INTO A JUMPING CUTTER FROM ORTON! It's academic now as Orton brings Maven up and dumps him out of the ring

Eliminated @ 14:00 - Maven

Orton now goes over and attacks Nash, saving Batista from a dangerous position and the two whip Nash to the ropes and take him down with a double clothesline. RVD comes flying in and takes Orton down with a Bicycle Kick! Batista however kicks RVD in the gut and loads him up and drives him down with the SIT OUT POWERBOMB! Batista brings RVD up and tosses him over the top, but RVD lands on the apron! Batista doesn't realise it at first but eventually does and goes over to RVD, using his boot to try and push Van Dam off the apron, but RVD is holding onto the ropes with all he's got. RVD looks to be losing the battle when Kevin Nash levels Christian with a right hand, then comes behind Batista and grabs him by the leg, forcing him over the top rope and Batista's gone! The Animal is out! Kevin Nash smirks down after getting the better of Batista but Christian sneaks up on him, and PLANTS HIM WITH THE UNPRETTIER! Nash eats the canvas and Christian can't get him back up to eliminate him, but calls on Orton to help and they struggle but eventually bring Nash up and force him to the ropes. Nash holds onto the top rope as Christian gets under him whilst Orton is pushing him over. The two men have him well over halfway and Nash tries to fight them off but can't and they get him over, Nash falls onto the apron! Christian & Orton use their feet to push Nash who like RVD earlier hangs on for all he's got but finally he can't anymore and ORTON & CHRISTIAN ELIMINATE NASH!

Eliminated @ 14:54 - Kevin Nash

Big Sexy is gone and we're down to three. Christian, Randy Orton and Rob Van Dam. The two heels see RVD struggling back up and Orton says they should get rid of RVD then battle it out. Christian agrees and takes a step forward WHEN ORTON GRABS HIM AND THROWS HIM OUT OF THE RING! Christian goes over but manages to hold on, and Orton thinks he's eliminated him! The youngster makes the mistake of not checking as Christian gets back into the ring, grabs Orton and THROWS ORTON OUT...AND ORTON'S FEET HIT THE GROUND! Orton's done!

Eliminated @ 15:20 - Randy Orton

It's all down to RVD and Christian now. The crowd starts another "RVD" chant as Van Dam regains his footing and he and Christian stare down for a moment. The two then lock up, and RVD backs Christian to the corner. Van Dam rocks him with a right hand, then a left, then drives a shoulder thrust to the midsection, then another, then does a back flip before coming back in with a third! RVD brings Christian out of the corner and shoots him to the ropes and connects with a Spinning Heel Kick to Christian as he rebounds back. RVD brings Christian up and attempts to eliminate him, but Christian holds onto the ropes. RVD struggles with Christian but can't get him out. Van Dam let's go of Christian and lifts a kick up into the chest of Christian who hops off the ropes to the mat. Van Dam brings Christian up and puts him back down with a Scoop Slam. RVD leaps up to the top rope and then drops and splits his legs, flipping over and connecting with the Split Legged Moonsault to Christian. It's all RVD here as he picks Christian up and THROWS HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE, BUT CHRISTIAN LANDS ON THE APRON! RVD comes at Christian but Christian lowers himself and drives a shoulder into the ribs of Van Dam. With RVD doubled over Christian uses the ropes and Sunset Flips over Van Dam and lands on his feet in the ring, turns around, grabs RVD and plants him with the Falling Reverse DDT! Both men down. Christian moves first, and begins bringing himself up as Van Dam shows signs of life. Christian allows RVD to get back up then hits him with a right hand, and Van Dam retaliates with one of his own. Christian kicks RVD in the gut and looks to hit a Suplex, but RVD blocks it and then Suplexes Christian up into the air and vaults him onto the ropes! Christian is hung out across the ring ropes and RVD climbs the turnbuckle and leaps off looking for the Spinning Leg Drop, but Christian avoids the contact by standing up on the apron and Van Dam lands on his ass in the ring. Christian gets into the ring and grabs RVD AND TOSSES HIM OUT BUT RVD HOLDS ON! Christian hits Van Dam with a right hand trying to knock him off the apron, but RVD responds with a raised calf kick knocking Christian down.

Christian rolls away holding his jaw as RVD gets back into the ring. Van Dam leans back into the ropes and springs off looking to hit the Rolling Thunder but Christian gets his knees up to block it! Christian brings RVD up and tries to eliminate him, forcing him over the ropes, but RVD tangles his legs around the middle rope, holding on. As Christian pushes Van Dam, RVD smartly uses the momentum and manages to grab Christian and BRING HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE, BOTH MEN NOW HANGING ON! The two kick at each other, trying to dislodge the other's grip. Van Dam kicks away Christian's hands and he's dangling by his feet as RVD kicks at his legs now to take him out, Christian uses his free hands and grabs the back of RVD's attire and begins to pull Van Dam away! RVD lets go with his left hand and tries to elbow Christian off him but can't reach around, so he kicks Christian's legs again and CHRISTIAN COMES LOOSE FROM THE ROPES, BUT AMAZINGLY WITH RVD STILL HANGING ON, HE HOLDS ONTO RVD'S ATTIRE AND MAKES SURE HIS FEET DON'T HIT THE GROUND! It's an incredible scene here as Christian is dangling so close to the floor he could stick out his tongue and touch it. RVD tries to knock Christian off with a strike from his left hand, but Christian saves himself and gets his feet back on the apron, then TUGS RVD WHO LOSES HIS GRIP AND TUMBLES TO THE FLOOR ALONG WITH CHRISTIAN...BUT RVD'S FEET HIT FIRST! Christian wins!

Eliminated @ 17:54 - Rob Van Dam

Winner @ 17:54 - Christian
NEW Intercontinental Champion

Christian can't quite believe he won and the crowd is deflated that RVD didn't manage to win as JR & King praise both men and King is proclaiming his new found love for Christian. JR then informs us Shawn Michaels has suffered a fracture in his ankle and will be out for "a couple of months" as they discuss Jericho's assault on HBK earlier in the match. Meanwhile Christian is handed the brand new Intercontinental title and he raises it high then holds the strap tight to him like it's his baby

Backstage now and we see Eddie Guerrero readying to leave it seems, packing his bag and chatting with his nephew Chavo when in walks Chris Benoit. There's a nice reaction to see the three friends together and Benoit shakes hands with Chavo and then Eddie, letting Eddie know despite their friendship, come Thursday night, the only thing that will matter is gonna be the US Title. Eddie agrees and tells Benoit he can't wait for it and the two again shake hands before leaving the picture as we come back to JR & King at ringside

Vickie applies a Sleeper hold to Stratus, keeping the pressure on the champion. Trish tries to fight it, but begins to fade away and Mike Chioda decides to check her, raising her hand and it drops once. He does it again, and Trish's hand drops twice. Once more and Victoria will be the winner, but Trish holds her hand up the third time and the crowd gets behind her as she battles to a vertical base and fires an elbow to the gut of Victoria. Trish repeats that with another as Vickie's grip loosens. Stratus attempts to spring to the ropes, but Victoria grabs her by the hair and yanks her down hard! Cover 1...2.kickout. Victoria dominates the majority of the contest from here on, and it's only a mistake from her that allows Trish back into it. Vickie whips Trish to the corner and looks to follow in, but Stratus brilliantly reaches the buckle and uses her momentum to vault herself up and back over the on coming Victoria who crashes into the turnbuckle and turns into a DDT from Trish! As both women take their time recovering, the crowd gets behind Trish and the two trade blows, Victoria gaining the advantage, and she goes to clothesline Stratus but Trish avoids it with the MATRISH!~ to a pop from the crowd and a shake of the head from DDMac . Victoria turns around and TRISH SCORES WITH THE CHICK KICK! Trish covers Vickie 1...2...NO! Victoria gets a shoulder up somehow. The crowd groans in disappointment and Trish can't believe it. Big counter from Victoria there and she drapes an arm over Trish 1...2...NO! Trish kicks out to a good pop. Victoria growls in anger and fights the urge to pull her hair out, instead bringing Trish up, placing her between her legs, powering her up for the WIDOWS PEAK...BUT TRISH SLIPS OUT THE BACK, GRABS VICKIE, SPRINGS TO THE ROPES AND HITS THE STRATUSFACTION! Trish covers 1...2...3!

*HERE COMES THE PAIN*

The guest ref is out first as the WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring to a big pop from the fans. Lesnar bobs up and down on the apron then leans back as his pyro's shoot off, looking a little silly in a referee shirt that barely fits him

*MEDAL*

The familiar tune of Kurt Angle hits and out walks the Olympian, full of intensity. He stops on the ramp and points his index fingers to the roof as the pyro shoots up behind him, and the crowd chants along "You Suck" to his music. Angle gets into the ring and stares a hole right through Lesnar who just smirks at Angle and points to the ref's badge on his shirt

*VOODOO CHILD*

The crowd erupts with a massive ovation as Hulk Hogan walks out on stage, playing the air guitar and receiving another amazing ovation from the fans. Hogan gives his shades to a little kid in the front row before stepping into the ring, nodding to Lesnar, and doing some more air guitar as Angle turns his nose up at the Hulkster, clearly not a Hulkamaniac

*ROLLIN'*

Taker's music rocks the arena and out comes the Big Evil on his motorcycle to a HUGE pop. Taker raises his right hand in the air and salutes the fans before riding down and around the ring. Taker parks his bike and hops off, rolling into the ring and raising his arms up to another huge pop

Match 7
Number One Contender's; Triple Threat Match
Guest Referee: Brock Lesnar
The Undertaker vs Hulk Hogan vs Kurt Angle

The three men stand in the middle of the ring. Kurt Angle seems more bothered with Lesnar, immediately starting to run his mouth at Lesnar whilst Taker and Hogan lock eyes. Lesnar laughs at Angle and then tells him to focus on the match, and Angle turns around and sees Taker and Hogan staring each other down and feeling left out, gets their attentions only for Taker to level him with a right hand! Angle goes down but gets back up and Hogan this time knocks Kurt down with a right hand! The two faces do a number on the Olympian as they take turns with right hands to Angle, then as Angle is backed against the ropes, they clothesline him out of the ring. Crowd cheers for that but the alliance is soon broken as Taker rocks Hogan with a right hand! The crowd is split in support for the two icons as Taker throws those big soup bones, fighting Hogan back into the corner. Taker then speeds up the shots and mixes up the rights with lefts, delivering a series of strikes in furious fashion to Hogans ribs. From here Taker and Hogan go back and forth for a bit as Angle recovers from the early ass kicking with nothing much of note taking place except for Taker hitting his trademark flying lariat on Hogan and getting a two count. Angle tries to get back in the ring but Taker nails him with a big right knocking him off the apron back to the floor. Taker is then put in a wrist lock by Hogan who turns it into a headlock, only for the Deadman to shoot him to the ropes, but Hogan comes back off and knocks Taker down with a shoulder block. Hogan goes to work on Taker with a few right hands but Taker turns the tide and whips Hogan into the corner. Brock Lesnar seems happy to let it all go at this stage, not over enforcing any rules yet.

Taker brings Hogan out of the corner and shoots him to the ropes, but Angle trips Hogan up and drags him outside. Angle tries to send Hogan into the steel steps, but Hulkamania reverses it and ANGLE CRASHES INTO THE STEPS. Undertaker gets out of the ring and rocks Hogan with a right hand, and Hogan retaliates with one of his own. The two men fight over to the SmackDown! announce table where Hogan knees Taker in the gut and then slams his face into the table top. Hogan takes the monitors off the table and then the cover aswell. Hogan rolls Taker onto the table and climbs up after him, playing to the fans and getting a huge cheer for it. Hogan looks like he's gonna Piledrive Taker, but Big Evil blocks it, refusing to be lifted into the air. Hogan tries again but can't get Taker up, as Taker drops to his knees and catches Hulk on the jaw with a right hand. Taker fires a few shots to the ribs of Hogan and then another on the jaw as Hogan falls off the table and onto the floor. Taker gets off the table and Kurt Angle comes around to join the action, hitting Taker with a right hand. Angle hits a few more rights rocking The Undertaker and then tackles Taker driving him back first into the ring apron! Hogan gets back to his feet and RAKES THE BACK of Angle to a pop from the fans. Hogan grabs Angle and looks to launch him to the ringpost BUT ANGLE COUNTERS AND HOGANS HEAD SMACKS OFF THE POST! Before Hogan can fall down, Angle gets behind him and LOADS HIM UP...ANGLE SLAM THROUGH THE SMACKDOWN! ANNOUNCE TABLE! The crowd starts a "Holy Shit" chant as Hogan is wiped out, buried underneath table rubble. Brock Lesnar checks on Hogan who's not moving an inch, before getting in Angle's face as the Olympian taunts Hogan. Angle doesn't back down from Lesnar, daring the champ to strike him, but Lesnar keeps his cool as The Undertaker grabs Kurt and rolls him into the ring.
The middle portion of the match with Hogan out sees Taker and Angle battle back and forth, trading falls without either man really coming close to winning the match. Angle accuses Lesnar of favoritism a few times believing he was being slow counted as the match goes on.

Kurt has Taker locked in an Reverse Chinlock as he wears Big Evil down, but with the crowd spurring him on with a "Taker" chant, the American Badass battles back to a vertical base, then takes Angle down with a Back Suplex! Both men temporarily down. The two get back to their feet and Angle hits Taker with a right, and Taker comes back with a big soup bone. Angle tries to hang with the Deadman in trading blows but Taker is all over him quickly out gunning the Olympian with his superior striking power. Taker shoots Angle to the ropes and goes for a Big Boot but Angle ducks under, rebounds off the other side and take him down with a clothesline. Angle quickly tries to lock the ANKLE LOCK on but Undertaker's big reach grabs onto the ropes before Angle can get it on, and Lesnar breaks Angle off Taker after Kurt refuses to break the hold voluntarily. Angle gets right in Brock's face and the crowd comes alive, wanting the two to go at it, but Lesnar again smirks and points to the referee badge on his shirt, telling Angle to get on with the match. Angle turns around and Taker is up, rocking Angle with right hands again. Undertaker then wrenches the arm and walks Kurt to the corner before climbing up and scaling the top rope, leaping off with Old School coming down across Angle's shoulder and back area. Cover 1...2.kickout by Angle.
Undertaker now waits for Angle to get up and goozles him going for the Chokeslam...BUT ANGLE SLIPS OUT THE SIDE, WAIST LOCKS TAKER AND HITS THE GERMAN SUPLEX! Angle keeps his hands locked around the waist of the American Badass and hits a second German. Angle still has the waist lock on Taker as he gets back up and takes him down with the third German Suplex! Angle covers Taker 1...2...kickout.

Angle gets to his feet and shows he means business as he loosens the strap on his attire and turns Taker over and LOCKS IN THE ANKLE LOCK! Right in the middle of the ring, Angle slaps the dreaded hold on and Taker is in trouble. Lesnar asks Taker if he wants to give it up but Taker shakes his head in agony, and begins to reach for the ropes but they're just too far away for even Taker to grab. Angle is yelling at Taker to "tap now" but Big Evil refuses to do so as he uses his arms and pulls himself closer to the ropes. Lesnar is waiting on Taker to tap it seems as Taker looks about to when HE GRABS THE ROPES AND BREAKS THE HOLD! Angle keeps it locked on once again and Lesnar separates him. Angle gets up and PUSHES LESNAR! Brock stumbles back and controls his balance THEN SHOVES ANGLE TO THE GROUND! The crowd pops and Lesnar yells at Angle to focus on the match. Kurt gets back up and glares at Lesnar, then sees Undertaker trying to get back up and goes for the ANGLE SLAM...BUT TAKER SLIPS OUT THE SIDE...GOOZLE...CHOKESLAM TO ANGLE! Taker hits the big move but can't capitalise as he drops to the mat clutching at his leg after being put in the Ankle Lock. After a couple of seconds Taker rolls over and covers Angle 1...2...Angle kicks out! The crowd boos but seemed like they were expecting it (when was the last time Taker won with a Chokeslam tbh). Both men are slow to their feet and Taker rocks Angle with a big soup bone, then shoots him to the ropes and takes him down with a Big Boot. Taker favours his leg after that, still feeling the effects of the Ankle Lock but rebounds off the ropes and drops a leg to Angle. Cover 1...2..shoulder up by Angle. Undertaker gets up and shakes off the pain in his leg for now and brings Angle to his feet, scoops him up for the TOMBSTONE...BUT ANGLE DROPS OUT THE BACK AND TAKES UNDERTAKER DOWN WITH THE ANGLE SLAM! Angle scores with his finisher and covers Taker 1...2...HOGAN PULLS ANGLE OUT OF THE RING! The crowd erupts as Hogan has recovered from the table spot earlier and levels Angle with a right hand. Hogan rolls into the ring now and covers Taker 1...2...NO! Taker kicks out, just.

Hogan gingerly gets to his feet obviously still feeling the table bump, as Kurt Angle slides into the ring, runs up to Hogan and takes him down with a Belly to Belly Overhead Suplex! Angle covers 1...2..HOGAN POWERS OUT! The crowd erupts as Angle gets up and sees Hogan HULKING UP! Angle stupidly tries to hit Hogan with a right hand but HULK NO SELLS IT! Angle does it again but Hogan again no sells and gets to his feet. Angle goes for another right, but Hogan blocks it and rocks Angle with a big right, then another. Hogan now whips Angle to the ropes and meets him with the Big Boot! Hulk rebounds off the ropes and drops the LEG DROP...OF DOOM!~
Mark out moment for the crowd as Hogan scores with the leg drop and covers Angle 1...2...UNDERTAKER BREAKS IT UP! Taker saves the fall this time and denies Hogan the victory. The crowd is buzzing as the match is picking up in excitement.
Hogan and Taker to their feet and Hogan rocks Taker with a right hand then shoots him to the ropes but lowers his head too quickly and Taker rebounds and takes Hulk down with the Running DDT! Taker covers 1...2..Hogan gets a shoulder up. Undertaker brings Hogan up and hits him with a head butt, causing Hogan to stagger back to the corner. Taker hits a big soup bone to Hogan and then grabs him by the arm and twists it around, and climbs the turnbuckle looking for another Old School WHEN KURT ANGLE LEAPS UP, RUNS UP THE TURNBUCKLE AND BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEXES TAKER OFF THE TOP ROPE TO THE MAT! Crowd marks for that from Angle as the Olympian covers 1...2..HOGAN PULLS ANGLE OFF BUT ANGLE REACHES UP AND PULLS HOGAN DOWN INTO A ROLL UP 1...2...NO! Hogan just kicks out. Angle is up first and stalks Hogan as Hulkamania recovers his footing, Angle's fingers flicking back and forth as he readies to finish Hogan off. Hulk gets to his feet and Angle boots him in the midsection and loads him up with the ANGLE SLAM...NO! Hogan is able to slip out the side and he shoves Angle right into Brock Lesnar! The collision sees Lesnar tumble out through the ring ropes to the floor and Angle stumbles into a right hand from Hogan. Hulk whips Angle to the ropes and goes for another Big Boot but Angle DUCKS UNDER, TRIPS HOGAN DOWN AND SLAPS ON THE ANKLE LOCK! Angle has it locked on Hogan in the middle of the ring!

Hogan is in tremendous pain and tries reaching for the ropes but he can't make it and HOGAN TAPS! HOGAN TAPS! BUT LESNAR IS STILL ON THE OUTSIDE! Angle is yelling at Lesnar when Undertaker breaks the hold up! Angle is irate having had the match won as Lesnar rolls back into the ring, bleeding from above his right eye. Taker rocks Angle with a right hand then swings another but Angle ducks it and takes Big Evil down with a German Suplex! Angle gets up and yells at Lesnar he won, that Hogan tapped. Lesnar doesn't believe Angle and then makes a motion that Angle meant to attack him! Angle shakes his head and points to Hogan saying "He tapped, he God damn tapped!" by Lesnar again doesn't believe Angle and ANGLE LOSES HIS COOL AND GRABS LESNAR BY THE SHIRT! LESNAR ROCKS ANGLE WITH A RIGHT HAND AND ANGLE STUMBLES AROUND INTO A KICK FROM TAKER TO THE GUT...TAKER LOADS HIM UP...LAST RIDE! TAKER DRILLS ANGLE WITH THE LAST RIDE! Cover 1...2...3!

Booker then whips HHH across to the opposite turnbuckle and follows in with a clothesline, taking Trips down in the corner. Booker proceeds to stomp away at Trips here, releasing all the pent up hatred and getting retribution for the last few months of hell. Booker brings him back up and sends him to the ropes then connects with a reverse elbow to the jaw of The Game, knocking him down. The trademark ref bump in a big match happens and Booker tries to revive the ref to no avail, Triple H sneaks up on the Book Man and nails him with a LOW BLOW! Booker goes down like a sack of potatoes as Trips now yells at Flair to help him out, and Flair levels Jack Doan and takes the key to the padlock off him. Flair then reaches under the ring and pulls out the SLEDGEHAMMER! Flair swings the cage door open and slides the hammer into the ring and climbs in after it. Triple H staggers over to the sledgehammer and picks up his signature weapon, staring at it's cold metal head in some sort of trance, as Ric Flair walks over to Booker and starts putting the boots to the challenger to heat from the crowd. Flair let's out a "WOO!" which gets a few in reply but alot more heat too, and Triple H then tells Flair to lift Booker up. Flair does so and brings Booker T to a vertical base, and Triple H runs at Booker with the hammer...BUT BOOKER MANAGES TO KICK TRIPS IN THE FACE! The crowd pops as Triple H drops the hammer and stumbles away, and Booker quickly turns and begins to tee off on Flair with a few right hands, before grabbing Naitch and LAUNCHING HIM FACE FIRST INTO THE CAGE MESH! Booker then turns back to HHH and nails a knife edge chop, then strikes him with a right hand, then hits another chop, then another right hand, then another chop as Booker begins to wail away on The Game to the crowd's delight. However this delight evaporates as RANDY ORTON & BATISTA sprint down to the ring to a bunch of heat. The two get into the ring and come for Booker who bravely tries to fight them off, rocking Batista with a right, then Orton, but before he can hit Batista again, The Animal of Evolution flattens him with a clothesline. Batista helps Triple H back to his feet as Orton mounts Booker and begins to pummel him with right hands. Ric Flair also gets back to his feet, enraged about eating the cage and stomps at Booker. Orton, Batista & Flair bring Booker up and hold him in place as TRIPLE H DRILLS THE SLEDGEHAMMER INTO THE GUT OF BOOKER! Booker crumbles to the mat holding his midsection but Evolution pick him back up and TRIPLE H SMASHES BOOKER IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD WITH THE HAMMER! Major heat and Trips throws the hammer down smirking at his opponent. The Game brings Booker T back up and hooks the arms of Booker, readying for the PEDIGREE, but he begins rotating slowly around mouthing off "Nobody can stop us, nobody can beat me, this is what happens when you try and defy Evolution!"

Trips stops facing the titantron and looks ready to deliver his finishing move when the tron cuts from the match feed to the parking lot backstage as a BLACK FOUR DOOR SEDAN COMES SPEEDING INTO THE CARPARK! The crowd comes alive and Evolution all look up at the screen in a mix of shock and horror as the car comes to a halt and out steps GOLDBERG! The crowd blows the roof off as The Berg exits the driver's side door, and a massive "GOLDBERG" chant begins around the Worcester Centrum. Triple H is shaking his head, not believing what's happened, as Goldberg marches through the backstage area and steps out on stage to a HUGE pop. The trio then exit the cage as Goldberg heads down the ramp, Orton is the first to go for Goldberg, but he eats a right hand, then Flair, then Batista as THE BERG is unleashed. Randy Orton gets back to his feet and GOLDBERG THROWS HIM INTO THE CAGE ASWELL! The crowd is going wild, marking like fuck for Goldberg as he turns to Triple H who is shitting himself inside the ring watching his buddies get annihilated. Trips quickly darts over to the cage door and shuts it, then uses the key and locks the padlock before Goldberg is able to get around to it! Triple H cracks a smile, showing Goldberg the key before dropping it into his trunks. The Game then gives Goldberg a DX style crotch chop to a split reaction from the fans, but Goldberg just laughs! That trademark wicked laugh and cackle of Goldberg causes a bit of confusion from Trips, but he then smirks again and says "Too bad" as he picks up his sledgehammer and stalks Booker T who is struggling towards the corner, hardly able to move after the assault he just took. Goldberg stops laughing and approaches the cage door, grabs onto it with both hands AND PULLS AT IT! HE DOES IT AGAIN AND RIPS IT OFF ITS HINGES, BUSTING THE LOCK AND ALL! The crowd goes batshit insane as Goldberg throws the door away and hops into the ring, yelling out "Hey" to Trips who turns around RIGHT INTO A HUGE SPEAR! The crowd goes nuts as Goldberg delivers the SPEAR to HHH and damn near breaks him in half with it. Goldberg picks up the sledgehammer and exits the cage, as the three members of Evolution back off up the ramp, The Berg wielding the weapon and forcing them away, nobody wanting to try and take a piece of Goldberg. Back inside the ring Earl Hebner has conveniently recovered from the earlier bump he took and sees both men are down. There's a few seconds go by and Booker T starts to stir first, in the corner, and begins using the turnbuckles to help himself up. Booker is about halfway up when Triple H begins to move aswell, The Game in the center of the ring struggles halfway up himself before BOOKER LEAPS FROM THE CORNER AND CONNECTS WITH THE SCISSORS KICK! The crowd explodes as Booker scores with the move and falls on top of Triple H as Hebner counts the fall

The crowd is on their feet as *RAP SHEET* hits and Booker T has become the top dog on RAW. Booker is handed the title by Earl Hebner and looks down at it in a state of shock, not quite believing he's done it. The Book gets to his feet and slowly climbs the turnbuckle raising the World Heavyweight Championship high to the fans as JR marks like fuck and King mopes as we fade to black

Review

This is borderline in full anyway Rene, if this is recap, people doing full btb's have a lot of work to do!

The first match ahd a great start to it and was action packed as you would expect from a 6 man table match. Spike being saved from going therough the table was a good twist, don't think i would like to be on the wrong end of a Senton from one of those guys! Rico eliminated first is what I expected as he is the least useful. The fact that the table was set up by his own team mate was a nice bit of Irony. Does the announce table count in a tables match ? Never reallythought about it. If so, good variation but the poor Spanairds are standing for the rest of the match now. Good ending just like the start. The right time won and I got my predition right. It's also a good match to start with as it got the crowd going.

Ye nice booking with Evoloution. Shows Trips discontent with the situation and then leaves room for spec as Flair's idea is unknown to us. Leaves it open for all sorts to happen in the match.

That rap was unreal mate, I'd love to know how long it took you to put together. Another good match here. There was some nice spots and the story of Cena trying to get The FU was good. He just couldn't seem to get it. Benoit look quiet strong without Cena seeming too waek. I though this would be the start of Cena's run towards the top.

Another good use of words, just like Cena only a bit more serious but also a bit more informative. The Rock seemed spot on in character and did always talk backstage just before his matches. Good job. This was a top match here. Good character play by The Rock during it. Push ups at 3 different times is a bit over the top though. 1 maybe 2 would have been grand. Kicking out of the People's Elbow was a good bit of excitemant for the match as well but I never saw apst a Rock win. Steiner did put a decent showing though.

So that was Flair's idea ? Couldn't have though of a better one. As Orton was running it was obvious he was running Goldberg into a trap. But it is hard to make it un obvious. It was a very Evolution like thing to do. I am hoping for a Goldberg return at the end of the main event though. The whole carthing was a good idea but 3 muscular men getting out of the car ? Just sounds a bit strange. Obviously you need 1 to frive the car but I dont know.

Hahahaha at the finish in this match. It is awesome, I hope you don't use it regularly though because that would take away from this one. I could imagine Show standing there like a thick fuck. I don't imagine him pleading though ? This was the worst match so far but saying that it was still good as the standard of the others as been high. Good to get a DQ finish in their for a bit of variety.

Was Booker not already in the big time considering he was Five Time....Five Time... Champion? Would ahve like to read his promo in full here but I know you said it wasn't going to be full.

Ha at the announcemant being anti climax. It is a good idea to do Brand exclusive PPV's though. It will help fit everyone in. Steph's body language and attitude to Vince was a good touch and Eric being a lick. Stonce Cold Steve Austin!!! He couldn't show up without a few stunners. Good choice to bring him to Smackdown because Raw already has such star power. Interesting to see what you will do with him. It was a good promo. Got some info across and it would seem the fans enjoyed it.

Early elimination for Jericho?? Taking Shawn out afterwards explains why though. Smart thinking that Evoloution would haev to take Kane out by all three of them. Ha Maven eliminating Flair, He won't be happy with that jobber fuckin him out. Christian has been made strong in this as he has been involved in so much. Shawn out for a few months ? Thta may be a bad move unless you have good reason for it. When Christian and RVD were left it was well written, wasn't too short and they both put up a fight. Christian always seemed like winning this though, he was involved in everything. I hope you push him good now.

Toilet break is right! It was a good attempt at a Womens match never as fun to write then it is as fun to watch but you did what you ahd to do. It wasn't even that short either so good job.

Match of the night here. Lesnar was quiet enough for the most part but i though it was well worked between Angle and Lenar as Hogan started off the tension by shoving him into Lesnar. Angle having the match won but Lesnar not aware is good booking, very realistic. His contribution then to Angle losing was good as well as he assisted Taker. Anyone who would ahve won this match would ahve been a good choice so doesn't make difference to me who won. It was a well detailed match and back and forth.

Main Event was so dramatic. It was all action. No boring parts. The Referee's took some bumbps in this match ha. It was good the way you opened up the ways fro Evoloution to get involved by takign out The Refs. Booker fought off some odds to win this match. Goldberg return was on the cards from the start ha. It was played out exactly the way it should ahve though.

Overall: I rate this PPV very high. The matches were well deatiled and action packed. Few good promo's as well. You got some new champions and big announcemants. There was no rust here from what I can see and fair play to you making a comeback with a PPV. Well done.

For starters, this is a review out of pure interest. Second, I don't really recall nver reading any of your stuff, although I’ve heard nothing but positive things about you since I’ve been here. I don’t mind that this PPV seems to be a patchwork quilt of work for you for the past three years or so, as it’s the final product that gets the attention. Just curious about your work and all, and hopefully this isn’t a crime.

Oh, and this review comes without a receipt, so you don’t have to return it. I know how backed up those things can get, so no worries there.

619’S Feedback for Renegade’s Backlash 2003

A six man table affair to kick things off sounds awful chaotic. I love the chaotic, so this gets me into the game fairly early in a very hellish way. I’m not too familiar with ’03 WWE (I am with ’02 and ’04 and beyond, this one year just is gone from my memory), but if I remember correctly, Rosey and Jamal were two gargantuan Samoan dudes, right? I love how they’re portrayed as incredibly savage from the very beginning with the Dudlyz having to play a little catch-up. Rosey’s failed Senton Bomb may have missed it’s target, but a guy that size doing a move like that is a personal mark out moment for me. Given the circumstances, I’m not surprised to see the ‘faggoty’ Rico eliminated first (not a fan of that word, btw). Gotta love the Spanish announcer’s table. I feel so bad for Carlos and Hugo all the time, but here, I’m much more sorry for Spike. Never liked the guy, but damn he proly needs a new midsection. Anyway, as the match rolls on, I’m glad the actual legit teams got their chance to go at one another, and props on Bubba for being so out of shape, but being able to powerbomb Rosey through a slab of wood. I mark out like a little bitch for the ‘Wassap/GET THE TABLES’ combo, so thank you for that. Awesome little sequence there at the end with great dramatics of everyone coming back into things. 3D finish makes me a happy boy.

Beet red Triple = ratingz. Wonder what the Evolution boys could be up to…

Awesome little nursery rhyme by Cena to start things off for the next match, although the last line wasn’t as great as it could’ve been, but was still solid nonetheless. Had a small chuckle/’I shouldn’t be laughing at that’ moment when I read Benoit did a suicide dive. Kind of an off moment in the ring psychology department later, when Benoit hits the Triple Germans and barely gives attention to his shoulder. With the way Benoit sells things, I would think the triple overhead tosses would have a little bit more strain on the shoulder than what was mentioned, both during and after the maneuver. I see that you did bring it in a maneuver later though, so props for that. Nice to see Benoit walk away with the W in a well fought out contest, neither man really looking weak.

I thoroughly enjoyed this Rock promo, but I enjoy all of Rocky’s old stuff. Not sure if your Rock is meant to be a heel, because judging from the reactions it seems that way, although he had some intense face-like comments to say. In that regard, I’m not sure if Steiner is a face, but I’ll assume he is. Even though during their match later, I will very much be rooting for Rocky.

No Pauley? For three weeks? In my thread, that’d cause the roster to collapse in overjoy (/cheap plug). But seriously, where is he…?

Excellent set-up for the atmosphere of this first-time match, really got the feel down pact. The opening minutes gave me a laugh with Rocky being pwned in the early goings, but there really isn’t a way to outshine the Rock. Had another personal mark out moment with Rocky doing Steiner’s push-ups. Very exciting match, had plenty of high points, and you even made Steiner look good in the ring, which is a very difficult thing to do (for me, anyways). Happy Rocky gets the winning fall here, though I’m sure this is far from really being over.

Maybe I’m just stupid, but I wasn’t sure what the ‘boot’ of a Sadan was. I’m guessing it’s the trunk area…? Anyways, Goldberg gets the FUCK beat out of him (which I popped for…you’re good at making me mark out), but more importantly, what the hell is gonna happen in that title match tonight? I’m curious to see if Ol’ Goldy will indeed pop up again tonight.

Benoit in one of the spots, and now Eddie’s wrestling tonight? If Big Show wins, I riot. Looking at the match actually get underway, the usual uphill climb ensues when someone faces Big Show, although Eddie makes it very entertaining. What’s the word ‘goozled’ mean….? As if I didn’t have enough mark out moments in the show, Eddie pulls and Eddie. God I miss this guy. Anyways, very solid match with a very desired finish.

I would’ve liked to read what you had it mind for Booker, but it sounds like whatever he said put him over huge. Makes me wonder if Rene the Booker mark will make Booker win…

As if I couldn’t mark out anymore. Not really been a follower of this thread, as aforementioned, but anytime Austin can arrive, raise hell, get Stephanie McMahon tipsy, and leave, I’d be a damn fool not to mark the fuck out. Oh…and good job on going to single brand PPVs.

This Battle Royal looks awesome from the outset, although Jericho and HBK eliminated within the first five minutes is a real eye opener. Again with this goozles word. This match certainty seemed very chaotic and very up in the air. I could see Christian coming out with this from a good ways away, seeing as how you emphasized him a good bit in the intros. Either way, Christian seems like a great guy to build the division around, but it looks like this division has enough depth to survive on its own. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Orton and/or Van Dam try and dethrone Christian fairly early.

Eddie + Benoit = mark

Make Victoria psycho plz. Pretty straightforward Women’s division built around Trish Stratus to me. Not much to say, seeing as how you didn’t seem to have much to say either.

…tad of an off spot at the very outset. I thought you imploded the Spanish Announce table in the opening match on the card, but here you evidently did it again. Not sure if that was a lapse in writing awareness, but again, I’m aware you did this over a span of 3 years. This match had great back and forth action, although seemed to drag to me at times. Very enjoyable and loved the finish with Brock being the dick we all know is in there. Undertaker and Lesnar matches have always kicked so much ass, so I expect deliverance…

I remember reading you were high on Booker, thus the finish was something I would somewhat expect, but damn what a finish. The match in itself was pretty straightforward as far as a championship steel cage match goes, although Booker taking command for a great part of the match until Evolution seemed to come across as you driving the point home that you wanted him to come off really strong, even without the title. I figured Goldberg would burst back into the scene, but I would’ve marked the fuck out for Goldberg driving the whole damn Sedan into the f’n ring. With that extremity aside, fantastic finish here. I’m not the biggest fan of Booker being champion, but I’m sure a guy of your caliber will drive off this well. Very well done.

FINAL THOUGHTS: VERY INTERESTING, VERY HIGH OCTANE STUFF. I can’t say I thoroughly loved everything about the PPV, but I did mark out for a great deal of it. The way the matches were written kept the action flowing very fluently, although it wasn’t the greatest quality, but this can be easily overlooked. There were some technical things that irked me (unfamiliarity with the term ‘goozle’, the single Spanish announce table broken twice, etc.), but overall I very much enjoyed reading and reviewing the first bit of work of yours (if I have before it’s obviously been a while).
OVERALL: 8.5/10. Hope you keep that spark and keep the bookin juices flowin’.
