Default Re: Renegade Presents: WWE 2003 - Now Go Home And Get Your Fucking Shinebox

Yeah so I haven't had the time to finish off SmackDown! yet, so I'm gonna post the RAW recap now and stick up SD! later in the week when it's been finished.

RAW Recap for 4/21/03
Atlanta; Georgia

Maven def. Ric Flair @ 6:46 with a Roll Up

-Commercial Break-

After the break we come back and are informed that the Dudley Trio will be taking on 3 Minute Warning & Rico at Backlash in an elimination Tables match, and JR & King hype up the rest of the Backlash card, including the Booker/Triple H Cage match for the World Title, the IC Title Battle Royal, Scott Steiner/The Rock and then the SmackDown! matches of Undertaker/Hogan/Kurt Angle with Lesnar as the Guest Ref, the two US Title Semi Final matches and Vince McMahon's announcement.

The Rock hits the ring to a huge split reaction from the fans, looking cocky as ever with his new Hollywood gimmick. Rock walks around to Lilian Garcia and takes a mic off her, before eyeing her up and down and then doing his "Easyyyy big fella" motion with his right leg, which Garcia can only shake her head to, trying to hide her blushes. Rock says he knows Lilian still loves the "People's Strudel" to a huge pop, but Rock then tells the crowd not to laugh at The Rock's jokes. Rock begins to talk some trash about Scott Steiner but is cut off by a "Rocky Sucks" chant. Rock then begins to berate the crowd in a comical fashion, before turning back to Steiner. Rock says this Sunday is going to be the first time ever, that The Rock whips Steiner's ass on PPV. Rock says Steiner is nothing but a big, dumb, muscle bound idiot and there's no way he can hang with the Brahma Bull. It doesn't take much longer for *HOLLA...IF YA HERE ME* to fill the arena to a huge ovation, and while The Rock originally looks worried, he soon bursts out laughing as A MIDGET DRESSED UP LIKE SCOTT STEINER WALKS OUT ON STAGE! The crowd gives heat for this as the midget "flexes" his "guns". The midget has Steiner's chain metal head wear on too, and a tank top on that reads "Little Puny Pump". Rock uses the midget to hack the shit out of Steiner as it mocks Big Poppa Pump, attempting to do a push up and struggling to get it done. Rock then asks the midget if he's ready to have his candy ass handed to him at Backlash, to which Little Puny Pump shakes his head and attempts to talk like Steiner, which is drowned out by some huge heat from the fans. The Rock tells them to let Steiner talk, as the midget begins to yell a bunch of crap about beating The Rock at Backlash to which The Rock PICKS THE LITTLE GUY UP AND PLANTS HIM WITH A ROCK BOTTOM! Heat for this, although some pops are heard. Rock then stands at the head of the downed midget and motions for the PEOPLE'S ELBOW! As The Rock hits the ropes and springs across the ring, the crowd comes alive as THE REAL SCOTT STEINER COMES THROUGH THE CROWD AND SLIDES INTO THE RING! The Rock doesn't see this and rebounds off the opposite ropes and COMES BACK RIGHT INTO SCOTT STEINER, WHO TAKES ROCK DOWN WITH A SPINNING BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! The crowd explodes as Steiner drops down next to a hurt Rock and begins to do the push ups, talking smack to him as he does it. Rock rolls out of the ring looking furious, as Steiner picks up the mic and tells Rock he's gonna get the beating of a lifetime come Sunday, and that the Freakzilla is gonna show everyone that The People's Champ is really just the People's Chump!

-Commercial Break-

RVD & Kane def. Lance Storm & William Regal @ 10:21 to retain the World Tag Titles

Backstage now and we are in the presence of The Rock's locker room. The People's Champ is relaxing in his chair but then decides to pick up his guitar, which causes the crowd to groan, as he begins strumming away. The Rock asks the crowd if they want The Rock to sing a song and they emphatically reply "NO!" The Rock calls the crowd a bunch of jabroni's and tells them to Know Their Role, and Shut Their Mouths. There is a knock on the door and The Rock opens the door, and in bursts The Hurricane! The crowd pops and Rock rolls his eyes. Hurricane looks The Rock up and down, before shaking his head at the Brahma Bull. Rock tells Helms he doesn't have any cheeseburgers for him to steal and to beat it, but Hurricane calls The Rock a coward for not calling out the real Scott Steiner earlier. Hurricane says a real hero of the people wouldn't resort to such cowardice, which pisses The Rock off, as he says Hurricane shouldn't be talking about real heroes, when he's dressed as the Hamburgler. Hurricane re-affirms his words from the other week when he said The Scorpion King is no super hero. The Rock tells Hurricane he's had enough of this crap, and tells Hurricane if he's so sure, why doesn't he face The Rock one on one tonight! Big pop for that, and Hurricane agrees to it, and The Rock says he'll see Hurricane's skinny green monkey ass out in the ring

Promo video airs for RAW's latest diva, Angelina Williams next. It shows her beating a few other female wrestlers during her early career, with inserts of her training and a few scorching hot model shoots too. The package ends with Angelina saying she's coming to RAW soon, and that the divas had better get ready. This of course gets The King all excited as we head to a break with him raving about how hot Williams was

-Commercial Break-

The Rock def. The Hurricane @ 8:34 with a Rock Bottom

The Highlight Reel is up next, with Chris Jericho's guest being Kevin Nash. Jericho doesn't waste any time on pleasantries, immediately questioning Nash's motives behind returning to the WWE. Nash says he's got some unfinished business to take care of, and a few doubters to prove wrong. Nash says Big Sexy is back, and he intends on sticking around for a while. Jericho quickly cuts Nash off before the crowd begin to get behind Daddy Cool's words, and Y2J asking him about this "friendship" he has with Shawn Michaels. Nash goes on to say that him and Shawn have known each other for so long, they're good friends and they have each other's back. Jericho then asks if that will be the case this Sunday at Backlash in the Intercontinental Title Battle Royal. Nash tries to sidestep the question, with Jericho obviously trying to stir some tension but Y2J refuses to move on until he gets an answer. Nash says he and Shawn will always have each other's backs, but come Sunday, if it comes down to it, it will be EVERY man for himself. Jericho then moves on to Triple H, and asks what the story is between him and Nash, but Big Sexy refuses to talk about it. Kevin Nash tells Jericho it's none of his business, and he should leave it at that. Jericho is offended by that and tells Nash that no "assclown" tells him how to run his show. Jericho then gets close up with Nash and warns him that he's not finished with Shawn Michaels, and after he claims the IC Title this Sunday, Jericho is going to make HBK's life a living hell, just because he can. Nash & Y2J lock eyes, as Jericho let's out a smirk and exits the ring as his music hits, leaving Nash with some food for thought

-Commercial Break-

Victoria def. Jacqueline @ 4:56 via a Widow's Peak. Victoria attempted a post match beatdown but Trish Stratus made the save

Backstage we see Stacy Kiebler talking with a couple of road agents when into the picture walks Christian! Stacy rolls her eyes as Christian tells her that she's with the wrong guy, Test even managed to stick his giant foot in Stacy's face last week. Stacy tells Christian she knows her man, and that it was an accident. Christian asks her if she's sure about that, and Stacy doesn't really seem to know if she was or not and hesitates with her answer, but that's as far as it goes as Test bursts onto the scene and Christian gets out of dodge with Test telling him to watch himself. He turns to Stacy and comforts her, and the leggy blonde still doesn't seem completely sure about this current situation

Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Test & Jeff Hardy def. Chris Jericho, Christian, D'Lo Brown & Mark Henry @ 9:16 via a Sweet Chin Music to D'Lo Brown

Backstage the Dudley Boyz cut a fierce promo ahead of this weekend's Elimination Tables match with 3MW, saying they might be the smaller of the teams, that won't stop them giving 3MW the beating of a lifetime, and by the end of the night, they'll all be eating wood!

-Commercial Break-

Goldberg came up against Batista in the main event in a clash of the Unstoppable Force vs The Immovable Object type. Both men slugged it out, with the two hitting each other with all their big moves. Da Man was rampant towards the end of the contest and he began to look like he'd get one over Batista, and add him to the list of Evolution members he's beaten in the past few weeks after Orton & Flair, however as Goldberg went to finish off Big Dave with a SPEAR, Batista was able to avoid it and GOLDBERG BROKE MIKE CHIODA IN HALF WITH THE SPEAR! This led to an Evolution run in, and despite The Berg fighting off all four for a bit and looking quite impressive in doing so, the numbers game got the better of him, as Triple H snuck up behind Goldberg and hit a Low Blow. Evolution proceeded to beat Goldberg down to some major heat from the fans, with Batista busting Berg open with a savage chair shot! Mike Chioda finally comes to and sees the beat down, and calls for the bell! Flair slaps the Figure 4 on Goldberg as Orton put the boots to him, with Triple H talking smack when BOOKER T COMES SPRINTING DOWN WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER IN HAND! The crowd goes wild and Evolution quickly scatter, not wanting any part of a clearly pissed off Booker, wielding Trips' hammer like a madman in the ring. We go off the air with Booker telling Triple H he's got no where to run and no where to hide this Sunday inside the steel cage as medics attend to Goldberg

Raw Feedback

Before I get down to business I just thought Iíd let you know, that since youíve posted this, you now have my permission to post in the discussion thread again <3.

Maven defeating Ric Flair? Usually I wouldnít, but in this thread, I can really dig that. Youíre slowly making Mavenís stock rise, imo, and I think eventually he can become a very solid mid carder, although heíd probably be better off as a heel. Anyway, I like that youíre giving all of Evolution something to do, rather than them all just being Triple Hís bitches, and while I agree with the result here, donít be afraid to let Big Dave and Orton win some matches. Also, nice amount of detail in this match you lazy fuck. Iíll live with it though, so overall an okay way to start the show, although Iím not sure a six minute match is enough to take us to a commercial break.

Geez, Backlash is turning out to have a damn good card, boy Iím excited.

More greatness from The Rock here, which is epic, as Rock/Steiner is easily my favorite feud in this thread so far, although I would have liked if you went into a bit more detail here, even if the show is in recap. For example, instead of saying The Rock insulted the crowd in a comical way or whatever, I would have liked if you actually told us what he said, you know maybe use some creativity, because it wouldíve owned . The midget thing is typical attitude era, yet I love it every time it happens so no complaints here, and it was a nice way for Steiner tog et the upper hand at the end there. Overall, a pretty good segment, which has me, waiting for their match at Backlash very eagerly.

I donít find the actual tag champions or their challengers interesting here on Raw. The only thing interesting about your tag division at the moment is The Dudley Boyz, therefore considering there wasnít really any build, Iíd say this is just a generic tag title rematch for Storm and Regal to get on the show. Anyway, decent match and all, but just because itís a title match, doesnít mean Iím obliged to get into it, especially with the lack of detail, which I will continue to bring up, just to fuck you off a little bit .

Iím really glad youíre continuing The Rock and The Hurricane segments, as they owned back in this time, and a majority of them were utterly hilarious. Rock/Hurricane tonight, should be a fun, little match.

Iím not the hugest Angelina Williams fan, so a little video package isnít really going to do it for me, Iím going to have to wait and see what you do with her when she debuts, although itís good that you are trying to strengthen your divas division.

at The Hurricane lasting eight minutes in the ring with The Rock. Despite their epic backstage segments being entertaining, a match between the two should go five minutes max, and if it took Rock eight minutes to beat Hurricane, howís he going to beat Steiner? Maybe youíre just trying to fill the show a little bit, but I donít think extending the length of this match was the way to go about it. It even takes away the credibility of the win for Rock, as it just took him way to long to finish off a guy whoís a jobber at best, unless heís name is Gregory Helms.

The Highlight Reel is always an epic segment, or at least almost always as Jericho is in it, and it didnít disappoint here. I like the fact that you had Jericho ask Nash questions regarding his friendship with Michaels, and Nash felt a little uneasy talking about if it came down to them two on Sunday, and I can sense a possible feud happening between Nash/Michaels. Not talking about Triple H has me even more intrigued as to what is going to happen. I loved Jericho getting angry, and while him announcing that heís still coming after Michaels is good, and has me very excited, Iím not sure if this was really the right time for it. He should have been saying this to HBK not Nash, despite how close Nash and Michaels are.

Nice and easy win for Victoria over Jacqueline, Trish making the save after the match is good. Simple yet effective way to build some hype towards Trish/Victoria at Backlash, and they need it, as it hasnít even felt like their feuding, imo.

I love Christian continuing to plant the seeds of doubt into the head of Stacy, and I can possible see a Christian/Stacy relationship coming out of this. It would be good, but I donít mind Test, so make sure he does alright .

Big eight man tag team match, continuing a bunch of little feuds in the one match, although I must say, you have a fair amount of these sorts of tag matches, with a lot of people in them, and there are other ways to build feuds, tbh. With that being said, the faces were always going to win this one, and Brown or Henry was always going to take the fall.

at The Dudleyz telling 3MW that theyíre going to eat wood! Epic really!

Ugh. What a terrible main event. Goldberg against Batista is a match Iíd pay to not see, seriously. It fits in with your storylines so itís okay, just not a match that appeals to me. Oh, and The Berg sucks to BTW. Anyway, The Evolution beat down was good, as was the Booker T run down and save, although one thing I will say, is that your Raw main event really lacked some go home build up, and now I think about it, this show didnít really give Backlash that a big show kind of feel.

Overall, it was a good show, but as I was just referring to, Iíd probably expect a little more hype for the PPV on a go home show, so while Backlash all of a sudden lacks that big show feel, it still has a great card, so the show should be alright. Anyway, itís just nice to see this back in action, now stick to it, mate.

WWE SmackDown!
4/24/03
Nashville; TN

*Opening Video*

*PYRO*
*PYRO**PYRO*
*PYRO*

Cole & Tazz open the show, hyping up tonight's card which includes the remaining two first round matches of the United States Title Tournament, with Chris Benoit facing The A-Train and Rhyno taking on The Big Show. Also we are told that The Undertaker will face Shelton Benjamin and Hulk Hogan will take on Charlie Haas, plus Kurt Angle will take on a mystery opponent of Brock Lesnar's choosing. The duo continue to talk things over when they are interrupted by *MEDAL* hitting the sounds, and Team Angle heading to the ring to a chorus of boos and jeers. Kurt leads the line, looking incredibly pissed off after being reduced to begging for another title shot last week by Lesnar. Kurt takes a mic and get's ready to talk, but he's cut off by a "You Suck" chant, which infuriates Angle

Angle says he's sick and tired of the disrespect he's been shown by everyone lately. He's sick of hearing of how he sucks from all the "nobodies" in the crowd, claiming they don't know anything. Angle says he won a Gold medal for this country at the Olympics with a broken neck, and he's repaid with immature chants and jeers from redneck morons. And the way he was treated by Brock Lesnar last week just sent him over the edge. Angle tells everyone he's gonna make Lesnar wish he never accepted to have Angle added to the Taker/Hogan match at Backlash. Angle says he's gonna make one of them tap, then he's gonna make Lesnar tap, break his ankle into a million pieces and take back his title. Heat for that. Kurt then begins to question Stephanie McMahon's conduct as the shows General Manager, allowing what happened last week to go ahead. Angle then demands Lesnar get's out here right now and announces his mystery opponent, because he's ready to go, right here and right now. Almost on cue *HERE COMES THE PAIN* hits and out comes Brock Lesnar to a huge pop from the Nashville crowd. Lesnar has a massive shit eating grin across his face. Lesnar doesn't say anything as Angle fumes at his nemesis, standing in the ring, looking close to boiling point. Brock finally breaks his silence and asks Kurt what the problem is?

The crowd erupts and Angle yells back "YOU'RE THE DAMN PROBLEM!" Kurt then tells Lesnar to lap it up while he can, because this time next month, Angle will be the main man again and Lesnar will be reduced to begging for rematches. Angle then demands Lesnar introduce his opponent, and Brock obliges, calling out his selected wrestler. There is a pause as the crowd awaits in anticipation, before *HART ATTACK* hits over the speakers to an INSANE reaction from the fans, with Cole & Tazz losing their minds as the music of the legendary Bret Hart booms out into the arena. Kurt Angle has a mixed look of shock and a bit of worry on his face as the theme continues to play, but there is no appearance from Hart. Eventually, the camera cuts to see Lesnar laughing, it was a prank! The crowd are disappointed, but they do see the funny side of it, as Angle had looked genuinely scared. Lesnar apologizes to the fans, and says he couldn't help himself. Lesnar then says for Angle's opponent to come out again, and *GLASS SHATTERS* rocks the arena to another THUNDEROUS ovation as the theme of the Rattlesnake hits with Angle once again shocked, but just like with Hart, Stone Cold is a no show, much to the disappointment of the fans again, and Kurt Angle is beside himself now, and tells Lesnar to quit stalling. Brock once again says sorry to the disappointed crowd and then calls for Angle's opponent for a third time, as *ENTRY* hits and it's DOINK THE CLOWN who appears on stage. Tazz & Cole, who after busting a nut when Hart & Austin's theme's played, can't help but laugh as Doink heads to the ring, as Lesnar grins from ear to ear and Kurt Angle goes redder than a beetroot in anger

Match 1; Singles Match
Doink The Clown w/Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle w/Team Angle

Unfortunately for Doink, Kurt Angle takes all his frustration out on the poor clown, as the Wrestling Machine beats him from pillar to post, hitting all his signature moves along the way, before planting him with an OLYMPIC SLAM and then finishing him off with the ANKLE LOCK! Doink has no choice but to tap out
Winner @ 1:56 - Kurt Angle

Angle continues to keep the hold locked on after the bell is rung, which causes Lesnar to get into the ring, and Angle wisely let's go of the hold and exits the ring, not wanting to risk his condition three days ahead of the big triple threat match at Backlash. Angle mouths to Lesnar "that'll be you soon" as he and Team Angle retreat up the ramp

-Commercial Break-

We return backstage and John Cena is standing by, in front of a camera, and it's RAP TIME!~

Yo, so John Cena got his place at Backlash booked
Whether it's Benoit or the A-Train, they gonna get cooked
Either way, they just another stepping stone to the title
I'll become so famous with the US strap, they'll treat my victory quotes as the new bible!

Chris Benoit claims to have Ruthless Aggression
If he ends up in my way, he'll suffer a toothless recession
Benoit, you're just another glorified canuck
You have the Crossface, but I'll give ya the skullf*ck!
Nah that ain't gay, nuh-uh, I ain't like that
I'm like David Clyde for the Texas Rangers, for that team I don't bat
You may be the Rabid Wolverine, but John Cena's the meanest
I'll take your hockey stick and cut off your penis!

And A-Train, big man, the crowd chants for you to Shave Your Back
Hell big man, if that's the case, I'd hate to see your nutsack!
It's a worrying thing man, forget about seeing me slick
With all that hair around, you can't even see your own dick!
I don't know if you understand what I mean, but come Backlash you'll see what I got
You're like an anti-climax, and I'm a quadruple viagra shot!
You might be 300 plus, but that don't scare me, I'm a one man army
The only thing that scares me is the fact your favourite game is hide the salami!

WORD LIFE

Match 2; Singles Match
United States Championship Tournament First Round
Chris Benoit vs A-Train

Benoit starts strong, but A-Train's raw power sees the (woolly) mammoth control the Rabid Wolverine for the majority of the contest, but when Train misses a Body Avalanche in the corner, Benoit takes him down with a trifecta of German Suplexes, and then scores with the DIVING HEADBUTT! 1...2..NO! Kickout by A-Train. Benoit unloads with right's and knife edge chops, but A-Train shoves him back into the corner. Benoit comes back at Train, but eats a huge FRONT AXE KICK! A-Train covers 1...2..NO! Benoit gets a shoulder up! A-Train scoops up Benoit and goes for the TRAINWRECK...but Benoit slips out and takes A-Train down with the CROSSFACE! A-Train tries to fight it but can't and taps out, with Benoit advancing to face Cena at Backlash!
Winner @ 6:43 - Chris Benoit

As Benoit celebrates his victory we fade out to a hype package that has been playing over the last few weeks, with the same format as previous weeks, talking about how "No one has raised more hell, caused more controv-". The package is cut off, and a statement is made that Vince McMahon has paid for the following air time, and a video package hyping Vince's announcement at Backlash airs instead. Cole & Tazz discuss the events of these packages and interruptions over the past few weeks as we fade to a break

-Commercial Break-

Match 3; Singles Match
Hulk Hogan vs Charlie Haas

The crowd is hot as ever for Hogan, cheering everything that Hulkamania does, and booing the crap out of Haas each time he ruins the mood. Haas works the neck area of Hogan, trying to keep the legend down, and manages to lock Hogan in a Sleeper Hold, wearing him down, but just when it looks like Hogan is done, he saves his hand from dropping a third time, he has the crowd behind him as he battles back to his feet, fires a few elbows to Haas' midsection as Haas breaks the hold, and Charlie hits Hulk with a right hand, BUT HOGAN NO SELLS IT AND BEGINS TO HULK UP!~ The crowd goes wild as Hogan unloads with rights to Haas, then whips him to the ropes and goes for the BIG BOOT...but Haas ducks under it, spins Hogan around into the EXPLODER...no, Hogan is too powerful, and scoops Haas up, and plants him with a Scoop Slam...THEN DROPS THE LEG! Hogan covers for the win to a fairly shit match!
Winner @ 5:48 - Hulk Hogan

Backstage now and we are in the office of Stephanie McMahon. Steph is on the phone to someone when there is a knock on the door and in walks none other than Vince McMahon! Heat for Vinnie Mac, and Steph looks up, notices it's her father, and ends her conversation on the phone. Vince simply tells Steph he's not going to cause any further animosity between the two, he just wanted to remind Steph about Sunday. Steph says she hasn't forgetten about the announcement, but Vince should be reminded that a certain superstar is not happy with Vince continually cutting off his video packages. Vince smirks and like the BIG MAN he is, tells Steph that if this person, whoever they are, has a problem with what has been going on, he can show his face at Backlash and confront Vince over it, man to man. Steph said she was just talking to the person on the phone, and that it's almost guaranteed that he will do just that. Vince again smirks and walks off without a care in the world, as his daughter stares at him until he's out of sight, and when Vince is, Steph can't help but let out a smirk of her own

-Commercial Break-

Steve Romero is now backstage with The Undertaker, interviewing him about his match with Shelton Benjamin later tonight. Undertaker says he's gonna take Benji to school, but doesn't get much further AS HE IS ATTACKED BY TEAM ANGLE! Angle, Benji & Haas go to work on Taker right there backstage, as Romero yells for help, Angle threatens him, causing Romero to back off, as Team Angle pick apart the Deadman, with the trio focusing on Taker's left leg, Benjamin takes a CONVINIENTLY PLACED!~ Trash Can and drops it over Taker's leg multiple times, as Haas supplements the attack with stomps to the leg in between trash can shots, and then Angle locks the ANKLE LOCK on Taker. Finally security, referees and agents show up and break the assault up, but the damage looks done as Taker is clutching at his leg in pain. Cole & Tazz berate the actions of Team Angle as we get ready for our next match

Match 4; Singles Match
United States Championship Tournament First Round
Rhyno vs The Big Show

The crowd is on Rhyno's side, but Big Show looks impressive here, man handling the Man Beast for the majority of the match. Rhyno does mount a comeback, and has Show reeling, but as he goes for the GORE...he eats a huge boot to the face! Big Show then picks up a groggy Rhyno and plants him with the PEARL HARBOUR CRASH! Show advances to face Eddie Guerrero at Backlash!
Winner @ 4:56 - The Big Show

We cut backstage to see Eddie Guerrero watching Show's victory on a monitor, and Eddie look's far from confident knowing that Show will be his opponent this Sunday

-Commercial Break-

We return and Funaki is with Chris Benoit. Benoit says he's sick of hearing John Cena talk crap with his raps, and that this Sunday, he's gonna shut Cena up for good. Benoit tells Cena he's living a marked man now, and at Backlash, Benoit's gonna make him tap [/end awful promo from awful mic worker]

Main Event
Match 5; Singles Match
The Undertaker vs Shelton Benjamin w/Team Angle

Taker limps to the ring with a purpose and despite copping a beating earlier, and fighting on one and a half legs, he gives Shelton a beating in the early going, until the fight spills to the outside, and the numbers game catches up with Taker, as Haas distracts him long enough for Benji to chop block out Taker's leg. Cue a long period of dominance from Shelton, working over the left leg of Taker some more, with help from Angle and Haas behind the ref's back. Shelton looks to finish off Taker with a Texas Cloverleaf, but Taker fights outt of it with some big soupbones. Taker struggles to his feet and catches Benji coming in, scooping him up and dropping him onto the turnbuckle with the Snake Eyes! Taker limps to the ropes, wanting to follow up with a leg drop, but his leg buckles. Taker limps back to Shelton and brings him to his feet and levels him with a big soupbone again, then turns to Angle and motions he's gonna finish Benji off, but Shelton breaks free of Taker's grip and scores with the impressive DRAGON WHIP! Cover 1...2..NO! Taker kicks out. Shelton tries to stay in control again but Taker easily gets the upper hand of a fist fight and throttles Benji, going for the CHOKESLAM...but Haas hops on the apron, distracts the ref and Shelton KICKS TAKER IN THE BALLS!

Heat for this and Shelton now plants Undertaker with the T-BONE SUPLEX! Shelton covers 1...2..THE REF IS PULLED OUT OF THE RING...BY HULK HOGAN! The crowd erupts for this as Hogan saves the match from a robbery. The match goes through a commercial and we return to see Shelton working Taker with right hands in the corner, when Taker recieves a second wind, and throws Shelton into the corner before unloading with a barrage of right's and left's to Benji's gut and head. Taker then scoops Shelton up and goes for the TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER...BUT KURT ANGLE GETS ON THE APRON AND PULLS SHELTON OUT THE BACK! Taker turns around and eats a Super Kick from Shelton! Cover 1...2..Taker kicks out! The crowd is giving massive heat but suddenly they explode as BROCK LESNAR comes charging down to ringside, and he takes Angle down! The two go at it on the outside as Hogan goes for Charlie Haas, leaving Taker and Benji in the ring. Benji whips Taker to the corner and follows in, leaping up to mount Taker and begins to hit some right hands to the Deadman. However, from no where, TAKER GRABS AHOLD OF BENJI AND WALKS HIM OUT OF THE CORNER AND DROPS HIM WITH THE LAST RIDE! The crowd goes wild and Taker covers Benji 1...2...3! Taker wins a crazy main event here
Winner @ 12:18 - The Undertaker

Undertaker scores a huge win, but he doesn't celebrate for long as KURT ANGLE TAKES HIM DOWN WITH AN OLYMPIC SLAM! Heat for this, but Angle then EATS A BIG BOOT FROM HOGAN, WHO THEN DROPS A LEG ACROSS ANGLE! The crowd goes wild for Hogan, but The Hulkster showboats and is punished by Lesnar, WHO DRILLS HOGAN WITH THE F5! The WWE Champion stands tall over the carnage around him, and the three men he'll be officiating at Backlash on Sunday

RAW Feedback

First off, itís nice to see a show finally up from you. Itís been long enough.

While I have no problem with Maven vs. Flair as an opener since both men are fairly over and Mavenís receiving a bit of a push, a bit lazy to just write the result. A few details such as how the finish occurred properly and the psychology of the match take less than a minute to write, so even a few lines would be nice to see. As I said before, Maven seems to be getting a bit of a push, so a roll up win over Flair keeps that going well though, so itís a decent enough match to start off the show.

Backlash card looks pretty stacked. The Dudley Boyz vs. 3 Minute Warning in an elimination tables match is definitely a nice addition to the card, continuing The Dudley Boyz little feud with the Bischoff administration.

Seems a bit odd that you kick us off with a match then have a promo inserted in the second slot, but whatever. Rocky seemed pretty good here, going through his usual heel routine of telling the audience not to laugh at his jokes, before getting to the important stuff. Midget Steiner? I guess since this is a feud thatís been built on words and personal insults itís a pretty good idea, and it also gives Rocky a chance for a bit more ownage. The embarrassing stuff from the midget was pretty good before The Rock attacker him, and the run in from Steiner topped the segment off well. Having looked back through this thread, this feud has by far been the best of the lot, and it continued to deliver pretty well here tonight.

Nice to see you continuing the Bischoff administration feuding with RVD & Kane while also worrying about The Dudley Boyz.

The Rock seemed to get comfy and relaxed awfully soon after being embarrassed by Scott Steiner. Would have thought heíd be extremely pissed off after having his bit interrupted and being suplexed. The interaction between Rocky and Hurricane was fine, although nothing different to the last few weeks, really. The match is a bit odd too, since weíve already seen The Rock have an in ring segment tonight. Too much Rocky for one night already imo.

@ Williamsí Ďscorching hot model shootsí. Iím fairly sure she had blonde dreads back in í03, which looked horrific. Really, if you were looking to bring any new divas in from your news list, Laree was the go here. Williams isnít that good of a wrestler still, and she certainly wouldnít have been great back then (plus she was much uglier).

Despite, as I mentioned earlier, an overuse of Rocky tonight, the right decision was made to for him to go over Hurricane, obviously. Was interesting that you gave the match so long as I would have thought that headed into Backlash Rocky wouldíve been made to look stronger, but Iím not too fussed.

The Highlight Reel comes right after a match? I know itís a minor thing, but you have your commercials placed at odd times here. Jericho hosting Nash and questioning his motives for returning made sense, while Nashís reasoning was fine, if not a little bland, too. The subject of Michaels was brought up well, as was Tripper, giving Nash some links with some people, although I thought the ending was very bland, with Jericho just leaving Nash standing there. Seems a bit weird that heíd leave his own set. Regardless, this promo looked like it got done what it needed to.

Nice to see Vickie looking strong, and Trish making the save makes sense to continue their feud on.

I quite like the Test/Christian thing youíre doing, with this segment being a fine way of continuing it. Itís a classic storyline, but it almost always works, and this looks to be no different. Looking forward to the double turn.

Again, having Jericho and Nash appear again is a bit pointless when you could get other guys in there. Regardless, this seems like an alright way to hype the battle royal, even if itís had no real hype aside from the slight mention in the Highlight Reel, which is a little disappointing.

Basic Dudley Boyz promo, hyping the match for Backlash pretty well.

Goldberg taking up the main slot by fighting Evolution over Booker T isnít a good thing, imo, as youíre overlooking Backlash and making Booker seem like a mere afterthought, basically confirming he doesnít have a chance in hell of winning on Sunday. The finish to this with Goldberg looking strong while also leaving ĎTista to look good was well booked, while the run ins and all finally involve Booker, although a bit too late, imo. Still, a pretty good way to end the show.

Altogether, an alright show here, although a few people maybe appeared too often, and it was a bit lacking on the Backlash hype, which was disappointing. Apart from that everything seemed solid, and itís good to see you back up and running. Iíll hopefully get to your SmackDown! in a few days.

Smackdown! Feedback

Glad to see that Angle is starting the show, because based on what I remember reading of this thread, he turned into quite the heel after losing the belt to Brock at WM19. He has every right to be mad after being forced to beg by Lesnar last week, and he made some good points about all heís done and how the fans still hate him. Maybe a possible seed planted with trying to get Stephanie replaced as SD GM? Anyway, he gets Lesnar to come out right away and I loved the fake entrances by two legends, as I remember it being hilarious when HBK did the same thing back in 2005, and it made just as much sense how you used it. Doink the Clown is a hilarious opponent for Angle, with Brock just continuing to mess with his rival.

No shock that Angle beat Doink with ease, but he was still afraid of LEsnar after the match, kinda going against his demeanor in the opening promo. But getting out of harmís way makes sense, what with his match at Backlash.

Gotta laugh at the Cena rap, as I remember when he was in this gimmick, and most promos he had were hiliarious. I hope that he faces Benoit, since the Wolverine will no doubt shut Cenaís mouth at Backlash. Still, that rap was hilarious.

Better match than expected between Benoit and Train, with A-Train actually getting more time in the driverís seat than I thought he would, and there was some great back and forth at the end. But we all knew that Benoit was the one to win this one, and a match between him and Cena at Backlash should be a good one.

Still donít know who is being brought in, as I think itís WAY too obvious to be Steve Austin .

Iím glad that Haas was able to almost get Hogan to pass out to the sleeper hold, but we all know that Hulkamania is going to be the winner in this one, but I still give you credit for trying to make Haas look legitimate. Anyway, an OK win for Hogan, but I just really hope that he doesnít do the same on Sunday.

Guess this name must be big enough, if he is indeed going to confront Vince at the PPV. This is a good way to create even more animosity between Stephanie and Vince, and I really canít wait to see where this angle goes.

Didnít think that Team Angle was going to strike ĎTaker during his interview, but I guess it will make him look even better when he beats Shelton later tonight. Angle looks like a man possessed in trying to get this title shot, but for some reason I donít see him winning the match at Backlash.

Would have liked to see Rhyno somehow score the upset over Show, but I guess you gotta put the four most over guys in the matches at Backlash. Show looks dominant here and I gotta think he has to be considered the favorite to win the US Title. Although, I do think that Eddie is going to give him a good match.

Like you said, the Funaki/Benoit promo wasnít great, but it at least acknowledges Cena, and he should have his hands full with Chris.

A very good match between ĎTaker and Benjamin, as I love that both Haas and Benjamin looks good tonight, given the legends that they were facing. Shelton almost gets the win a few times, and shows that Team Angle can still play dirty, hitting a wicked low blow with the referee distracted. But ĎTaker manages to overcome the numbers by getting some help from Hogan and Lesnar, and he manages to get the win! Good aftermath, with everyone being taken out, before Lesnar somewhat shockingly drops Hogan, as the special referee looks to have the advantage heading into the PPV.

Overall, a good ďgo homeĒ show that certainly makes Backlash something to look forward to. Loved the main event and the aftermath, showing how many ways the triple threat match can go. Good job.

World Heavyweight Championship; Steel Cage Match
Booker T vs Triple H (c)

Donít see Booker as the top guy on Raw, and I think The Rock might get back into the title picture soon, so Triple H stays the champion a little bit longer by winning this one.

20 Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Championship
Shawn Michaels vs Kevin Nash vs RVD vs Kane vs Maven vs Jeff Hardy vs The Hurricane vs Test vs Goldust vs Tommy Dreamer vs Chris Jericho vs Christian vs Randy Orton vs Batista vs Ric Flair vs Lance Storm vs William Regal vs Chris Nowinski vs D'Lo Brown vs Mark Henry

Some of these guys are too big for the title (Nash, HBK, and Flair), so I see Randy as the guy who can win his first major title here. Would do wonders for his status in Evolution.

Singles Match
Scott Steiner vs The Rock

Trish Stratus (c) vs Victoria

Sheís better than Victoria, so thatís why sheís holding onto the title.

Triple Threat Match; Number One Contender for the WWE Title
Guest Referee: Brock Lesnar
The Undertaker vs Hulk Hogan vs Kurt Angle

I think that you are going to hold off on Angleís rematch a little bit longer, and I just donít want see Hogan anywhere near the title.

United States Championship Semi Final #1
Eddie Guerrero vs The Big Show

He will be the US Champion, just because I think a monster holding the belt first is the way to go.

United States Championship Semi Final #2
Chris Benoit vs John Cena

Surprise of the PPV, as he wonít even cheat to win!

Plus Vince McMahon's announcement!

Steve Austin is the only name that I can think of, but I still think youíre gonna swerve us.

SmackDown! Feedback

Angle to open up the show before his number one contenders match at Backlash? Makes sense to hype the major SmackDown! match for Sunday. Mentioning what happened on the last show was also helpful for those of us who never read it properly and just glanced over it. Angle transitioning from addressing the crowd into addressing the disrespect from Lesnar was a good way to not only gain Angle some cheap heat, but also hype up Sunday. The intensity of Angle in him saying he was going to snap the ankles was pretty awesome too, before he called out Lesnar. Lesnarís pretty horrid on the mic (especially as a face), so the way you kept him short and sweet was a good idea. Lesnar getting the music of Hart and Austin to play was alright, although perhaps a little heelish. The choice of Doink The Clown also seems a bit odd, although I guess itís more disrespect to Angle, while also giving Angle a chance to look strong. Pretty good way to kick us off here, with Angleís portion of the promo showing off both his heelishness and his intensity well, while Lesnar was kept pretty short, meaning his shitty mic skills didnít shine through.

This was always going to be a squash. Nice way to make Angle look badass before Backlash.

@ Cenaís rap. At this stage with all his talk of penis, Iím almost certain that heís gay, but perhaps the character development will be confirmed later. Regardless, a nice way to get Cena on the show to hype his Backlash match.

Nice little match here between Benoit and A-Train with some pretty cool counters, allowing both men to be left looking good. Benoit vs. Cena at Backlash is certainly a nice match too, so I look forward to that.

Havenít really followed this Vince McMahon stuff at all, but Iíll assume it relates to Hulk. Either way, good to see it getting some hype.

First off, I like the idea of having both members of Team Angle facing off against Kurtís opponents for Backlash, although it seems like the tag division is a little dead atm. That can sort of be attributed to the US Title tourney I guess, but itís still not a good thing. Regardless, for a Hogan match this was alright as you did really all you can with him, while making Haas look pretty good in the process. Good stuff.

A confrontation between Vince and someone at Backlash? Not sure who it is, because as I said above, I havenít really been following this too well, but itís good to see some hype coming for it.

Team Angle assaulting ĎTaker backstage? Didnít expect it since we didnít see Hogan attacked (perhaps suggesting Angle doesnít consider Hogan a threat), although I guess it shows the heelishness of Team Angle and leaves Angle looking rather badass, even if it may not have been necessary.

Expected Rhyno to maybe be allowed to look a little better against Big Show, although Show was always going to get the win. Him against Eddie should certainly prove to be an interesting match at Backlash, which, while probably not going to a classic, should show us how quickly and far you intend on pushing Eddie by if he wins. Eddie watching Show gets him on screen too, which is a good thing.

Best to keep Benoit short and sweet, because as you said, heís pretty horrid on the mic. Itís always a good idea to have him straight forward which he was here, so this didnít seem like a bad promo for Benoit.

Nice to see this match getting a bit more of an extended write-up since itís the main event. Benjamin getting the momentum of a distraction from Haas was a pretty clever way to go about things, continuing the psychology of ĎTaker having an injured leg from the earlier assault. The use of the Texas Cloverleaf was good too as it focuses on the legs, although the way you wrote of the counter was kind of lazy. If Benjií already had the hold locked in (which I initially thought) then it seems very hard to hit some punches from that position. Just a little more detail was needed. Benjamin getting a real showing with the dragon whip a low blow/t-bone combo was really good before things broke down well. Benjamin continued to look awesome with the Superkick, and the finish to the match came pretty well, with all of the chaos at ringside allowing ĎTaker to both get the win and make Shelton look awesome. The carnage after the match hypes up the three way, and with Lesnar left standing, all three look equal going into the match which makes thing pretty damn unpredictable. Good way to finish the show.

As a whole, Reney, I felt this show was a big improvement on RAW in terms of the little mistakes being gone, the booking having a real Ďgo homeí show type feel, and some general excitement. Not much else to say really, other than that this was certainly an enjoyable show.

Smackdown Feedback

First off, I just want to say sorry for taking so long to get this up, but Iím usually pretty reliable for feedback when it comes to you, so I guess I can be forgiven. I just want to mention how nice the Smackdown card sounds to, you better not disappoint.

This promo didnít seem anything special early on, typical Kurt Angle complaining and what not, although Iím loving all the talk about breaking ankles, shows some of his intensity which was epic in a few years time in real life. If you could insert a bit of that, not to much, into his character here, which it seemed like you are doing/trying to do, than youíll have a hit in my books. As for Brock as a face, I still find myself struggling to get behind him, so I hope this feud with Angle helps. I was pretty glad you didnít make Lesnar talk much in the early stages either. On the mic, he was pretty terrible. Angleís ďyouíre the damn problemĒ bit was solid, once again, nothing great. The teases of the epic superstars showing up was a great way to make Lesnar entertaining, imo, simply because it was edgy, and he still didnít have to talk all that much. at Angleís opponent being Doink The Clown, thatís funny as hell. Overall, for what this promo was, I think you used some nice creativity to make it a pretty fun read.

Easy win for Angle, making him look like a monster, yet then he bitches out from Lesnar. Not sure I liked him bitching out, just as I thought he was starting to get intense and what not, but itíll be interesting to see just where this develops. I think I heard somebody else say it to, but I can see this rematch between the two being stalled until Summerslam.

at the Cena rap. I personally loved it, I think its awesome stuff. Also, provided some hype for his match with Benoit at Backlash, or at least Iím assuming itís going to be Benoit. Oh, if I could be a little critical, perhaps a little too much penis references, and usually he only cursed at the end. I donít really care though, Iím just trying to nit pick a little .

A good win fro Benoit over A Train, making him seem like heís a legit threat to Cena at Backlash, however I really doubt heíll pick up the victory. Decent enough match anyway.

I guess the superstar whoís video keeps getting cut off is going to be who ends up interrupting Vince McMahonís announcement at Backlash. This makes me think itís a big name, but I canít think of anybody off the top of my head. Also, now I think about it, is Paul Heyman still being use din this thread?

Hogan/Haas. One man has charisma, the other can wrestle. Come to think of it theyíd probably make a decent tag team. Anyway, I was glad to see you didnít give this match a lot of time, and despite you mixing things up with a Scoop Slam being hit instead of the usual Big Boot, nothing about this really impressed me. Please have Angle fuck him up when Taker beats Hogan at Backlash.

The superstar who caused all that controversy couldnít be Bret Hart, could it ? I know itís a bit out there, but you do mark for the good, old days so I just thought Iíd throw it out there. This little segment continues the little thing between Vince and Stephanie, whilst also confirms that Vince will be confronted at the PPV. This situation should make for some quality reading at the PPV, make the promo in full please.

The Undertaker getting attacked by Team Angle is some nice build for the main event. It gives Benjamin some time in the match to strut hiss tuff, while also giving ĎTaker something to be angry about. It just makes the match a little more exciting with these elements involved.

Good win for Show, although I do have love for Rhyno, so I hope you do something worthy with him. Show has looked pretty tough in this thread so far though, which, imo, is a good thing.

Despite my good words for Show, Eddie > him and everybody else, except for The Rock, tbh .

at the Benoit promo. You really couldnít get much more boring or generic with that. You should have added in some Funaki comedy to make it a little entertaining.

A pretty fun to read main event I must say, with a lot of twists and turns, with Hogan and Lesnar getting involved. ĎTaker looks very strong here, going through a twelve minute match, even after being attacked backstage, and he still got the win. As for the aftermath, everybody hitting their finishers was good, as it adds great build to the SD main event for Backlash. Lesnar getting involved was good to, will add some tension during the match on Sunday. Smart booking, imo.

A much better show than Raw, simply for the fact that it actually had some PPV build up about it. I really enjoyed it, and with the fun main event scene, an epic looking mid card with the likes of Eddie G and Cena pushing through, perhaps even Show, plus Benoit and Rhyno, this brand can really go somewhere after Backlash. I still love reading your shows, theyíre very refreshing and stuffs, therefore I decided to leave you predictions as well .

World Heavyweight Championship; Steel Cage Match
Booker T vs Triple H (c)

Booker isn't at The Games level atm, plus Evolution/Goldberg is going to be headlining Raw for awhile.

20 Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal for the Intercontinental Championship
Shawn Michaels vs Kevin Nash vs RVD vs Kane vs Maven vs Jeff Hardy vs The Hurricane vs Test vs Goldust vs Tommy Dreamer vs Chris Jericho vs Christian vs Randy Orton vs Batista vs Ric Flair vs Lance Storm vs William Regal vs Chris Nowinski vs D'Lo Brown vs Mark Henry

I'd love Christian or Orton to get it, but they haven't really done much in this thread yet. Maven is decent, you have love for him to, and he's been involved in some matches with main eventers, so this really wouldn't surprise me.

Singles Match
Scott Steiner vs The Rock

Despite my love for Steiner, I'll stop reading if he goes over The Rock.

Elimination Tables Match; 6 Man Tag
The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray, D-Von & Spike) vs 3 Minute Warning (Jamal, Rosey & Rico)

I want them to reek more havoc on Morley.

Women's Championship Match
Trish Stratus (c) vs Victoria

I'd love to see this happen so their feud continues. I can't see any other divas feud impressing me right now.

Triple Threat Match; Number One Contender for the WWE Title
Guest Referee: Brock Lesnar

The Undertaker vs Hulk Hogan vs Kurt Angle

Angle/Lesnar for Summerslam. Taker to pin Hogan and feud with Lesnar for a month, while Angle will hunt down Hogan for fucking up Angle's chance.

United States Championship Semi Final #1
Eddie Guerrero vs The Big Show

Just picked my fav of the two. Wouldn't be suprised if Show won though.

United States Championship Semi Final #2
Chris Benoit vs John Cena

He's clearly being pushed.

Plus Vince McMahon's announcement!

Paul Heyman and Sable are the only things coming to my head at the moment. Stephanie is fired, and one of these two, probably the latter takes over as GM ? Far off I know, but it's worth a shot.

I took long enough with the feedback, so hurry the fuck up and post the PPV before I get busy again <3.
