SmackDown! Feedback

Solid opening to the show with Team Angle having a bitch fit in the ring. A whing yet intense Angle is way to go. Judging from the continuation of the angle {no pun intended} set up by Mac, with Hogan and Undertaker still involved, I'm going to guess at some kind of sic-man tag team match at ... Judgment Day? Single brand right? ABA 'Taker > Hogan though to be fair. Interesting that there was no tension at all between Hogan and Lesnar. I mean, didn't Hogan cream Brock last week {by mistake I know}, but still. And the feud that Taker had with Lesnar in real time? That's create tension. Well, maybe not in a recap eh?

Oh, well I guess the six-man tag is off for the next PPV then? @ my booking. Probably be some kind of Four-Way elimination match then I expect. This exposure for Kurt and his boys is goodness though. Keep it up. As for the big match tonight, I'd mark for Haas to pin Hogan ... but you'd never do that The faces will probably clean house.

Hardy looking like a jobber against Rey Mysterio is poor. I thought you marked for Version One, you Aussie bugger? Anyway, more and more of Hardy's little M'Fer's is glorious, but here's to hoping you go one step further than they did in reality and actually make something out of this entertaining stable. More members plz.

"The two big men have a brief stare off before Taker thanks Lesnar for what he did earlier". Yes, because that makes up for what they both did to each other all those months ago. I'm not liking this mutual respect deal between the three faces, especially when sicko's like Taker and Brock are involved. At least the Deadman got a bit more aggressive towards the end though. MORE TENSION THOUGH~!!!

Thank you, I had no idea what that jobber name was. Pearl Harbour Crash? WTF? Sounds like something a Japanese wrestler would use in the Hawaii Anywho, Gunn sucks, and Show owns. Simple enough equation really.

Los Guerreros being sly buggers is all good, though Benoit and Rhyno were, well, a bit mean Get a grip, fellas. Don't be so serious. I can't really remember who is facing who in the U.S tournament {re-post brackets plz}, but Eddie and Benoit will go farthest out of these four. Oh no, I just remembered how much you mark for the Man Beast. Uh oh.

If the person in all of these video hype promos isn't The Rattlesnake then I'll be quite shocked. However, the fact that Stephanie mentioned in the segment that this individual is annoyed by McMahon interrupting the videos all the time, makes me think it might not be Austin. He doesn't care about promos. Long, and not terribly interesting promo with Stephanie and Vince, though at least Vinnie Mac's next program looks to be starting at Backlash ... with the new addition? Another feud with Austin? Really? Surely not. Someone else would be better.

The FBI = the jobber squad, and I'm glad to see you finally understanding that, me old Shane Warne lookalike. Benoit and Rhyno are going places and Nunzio and his lot sure ain't. Perfect outcome in the end.

HOGAN AND FUNAKI Love it. More of this please. In ring segment with 'Naks mimicking the Hulkster.

I know I like Big Show, and I think Mac does, but I'm not sure about you, ya' blighter. Therefore, I can't really predict his progress in the tournament. It'll probably be quite good without actually winning the thing.

Thank god Cena actually got to rap before his match this week. Best mic worker at this time. Another win over Rikishi? That's going to get old FAST. As a bullshitting, punk, bad ass, rapper heel, Cena will be far more entertaining than any of the others in the tournament as U.S Champion. Make it happen.

Nice announcement for next week's Battle Royal. I expect Rey, London or Kidman to be the one who wins, maybe all three of them in some kind of cop out move; that's the way I interpretef the "being most vocal" thing.

Ugh, what a stinker of a match. A-Train is quite enjoyable though ... and Nathan Jones blatantly isn't. Thank god Train murdered him quickly.

Wild main event, that's for sure. Hogan sure does stink up the ring when he's in this mode with that shitty HULKING UP~!!! Oh well, at least Brocky got himself some payback {however accidental} for last week's chair shot he took from Hollywood. At last, at last some tension on the face team, which makes it far more intriguing than before. I expect a huge confrontation next week between Hogand and Lesnar. Such a pleasant surprise that Team Angle got the win, and pinning Brock too. Good stuff. Angle could get his rematch after all.

Overall, this was a solidly return show, Reney. Not your best recap, but hey, who was expecting that? More of the same next week please, by Fosters drinking associate

Fosters is piss imo, horrible shit. Extra Dry ftw.

I know it's pretty meh show but I had to take a different direction with things Mac had set in motion because I don't wanna just take HIS ideas and pass them off as my own, that'd be wrong. So yeah, that combined with rust did hurt it but it'll improve as things come along.

I've flicked through this BTB in the past few moments and from what I have seen it is very, very good. Renegade you make the BTB Section proud as a Moderator who sets a high bar for other Members who create BTBs to beat. I'll try and get a review up for your next show.

RAW Preview for 04/14/03

RAW comes to you live from The Rose Garden in Portland; Oregon

Since the debut of Goldberg 2 weeks ago, he has been unstoppable in his rampage to gain a chance at the World Champion Triple H. Last week Goldberg was way too good for "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and this week Goldberg has been told he will be going one on one with Evolution's youngster Randy Orton. Is Goldberg's hot streak about to come to a premature end? Or will "Da Man" continue working through Evolution until he gets to the man he wants, "The Game" Triple H?

In the last few weeks Kevin Nash made his return to the RAW brand after successful surgery, and Big Sexy has too made a strong impact on the show. Nash has sided with Shawn Michaels in his on going feud with Chris Jericho to even out the playing field so that Shawn is no longer a victim of gang attacks by Jericho's buddies Christian, The Bischoff Administration or even as of late Evolution. With the heated rivalry between Michaels & Jericho far from over, what can we expect from the two tonight?

Last week The Rock called out Scott Steiner after an altercation in the ring between the two the week before. However as the eagerly anticipated face off began, it was over just as quickly as The Rock left the ring and left Scott Steiner fuming. Rock has promised this week to be in the building and he will be calling Steiner out again, but this time The Rock has said things will be "different". What does this mean for Steiner? What has The Rock got planned?

The Tag Team Championships have been a large focus on the show as of late as the current champions RVD & Kane have been fending off challenges from former champs Lance Storm & William Regal and also the mammoth team of 3 Minute Warning. There has been somewhat of an alliance between those two teams which has lead to an equally shaky alliance between RVD & Kane and The Dudley Boyz. Last week the Dudleyz trio were layed to waste in the ring by 3MW and Storm/Regal until RVD & Kane made the save. This week it has been made official that RVD & Kane will team with Bubba & D-Von Dudley to take on 3 Minute Warning, Lance Storm & William Regal in an 8 Man Tag match. Sparks are sure to fly in this personal on

Victoria has made short work of booking herself a rematch with Trish Stratus for the Women's Title after she beat Jacqueline last week in a Number One Contender's match. The match has been signed for Backlash already but tonight Trish will be in action against Molly Holly, of the newly re-formed Right's To Censor.

Young superstar Maven has been in the limelight as of late. Tonight he gets a major chance to shine as he goes one on one with the Dirtiest Player in the Game, Ric Flair. Can the rookie Maven pull off a huge win or will The Nature Boy's experience prove too much?

And finally Eric Bischoff has made it known he will be making a huge announcement concerning the return of one of the company's most prestigious titles to the RAW brand. Bischoff says it will eclipse Stephanie McMahon's US Title announcement two weeks ago. What title is being brought back by Bischoff?

For all this and more tune into RAW this Monday live from 9/8pm Central on Spike TV

Someguydown!

Matters into his own hands for Kurt Angle?

Kurt talking shit about Lesnar’s Mania performance wouldn’t really make himself look that good I’d say. I mean, he lost.Nice development here, and it looks as though a six-man tag main event will evolve as tonight’s ME. Lopsided teams for sure, but cool beans. Faces have too much ego and hunger for gold for the team to last long though.

Six man as predicted. Steph is in for trouble with Vince eh? So maybe Heyman being AWOL means he’ll be her replacement later? I like Steph and feel she left the scene too soon IRL, but Heyman OWNS, so yeah.

LOL @ Crash Holly. Mattitude follower #2? Can’t stand Crash (RIP) really, but if it makes for fun and games, and a little tag team with Moore, all for the greater good of V-1 –AAAAAAAAAAA, then I’m all for it.

Taker > Hogan. Hogan (and Taker tbh) had his run in 2002. If the next run is for either man though, then Taker >Hogan. Two BIG NAME stepping stones for Brock is really the way it should go though I’d say.

YUCK to the ‘One’. Hated that gimmick. I’d take Billy Gunn, the blank shooting cowboy first. Show > him. Right move. Where is Show headed I wonder?

*CRINGE* at Benoit. Career ending injury please. JESUS push for Eddie – sooner than WWE – so he can spend more time at the top than he had a chance to in real life. Plz?

Obviously Stone Cold has ‘raised more hell’. Something tells me that’s not about him though. Austin just faced Rocky rit? So he hasn’t exactly been gone forever or anything. Perhaps SD is his new home, and he’s gonna return full time? Meh, tbh.

Well, it’s certainly Austin now that Vince has cut it off, and called it crap. Revival of an old feud that never really got a just finish? I’d be alright with that, since it really did need a culmination. Wish WWE would’ve went with it @ Mania 20 like they originally planned. While I love Vince and all, this was a bit of a flat deal here. Besides the ‘open challenge’ of sorts for the hyped guy, there was really nothing but hot air. Anticlimatic situation with Steph too, as her reservations earlier made it seem as though something more serious would happen. Instead, we simply got threats. Let’s see where it goes.

FBI > Family killing psycho. That is all.

Hogan and Funaki would make for some funny backstage interviewing. Would like one of those in full.

So Show is focused on US gold? Makes sense.

So Show has a pre-Cena’s match promo, Cena talks trash on Show, and then his first match is against a 400 pounder, who he FU’s and shows his power against. Cena vs. Big Show = US Title finals. My call.

A-Train > Nathan Jones. Right move. Mania de-push = right move. I just cannot understand why he just isn’t removed? I mean why even have a match on the show that you actually say is “brutally poor”?

Main event seemed good. It planted a bunch of seeds for potential angles. Loved Lesnar not having remorse, as well, he should be a remorseless killer. Not sure where this will all go, but LOVE Angle getting the duke, and this has me thinking perhaps he will get the next shot. But why after all the worry earlier was there not one more mention of ‘where’s Heyman?’ Seemed again, a bit anticlimactic.

As you said, some things were meh. But its your first show back, and I know it takes time to move things in the direction you REALLY want. No doubt you can – and will – do it. Groundwork is there for good shizzle. Make it happen. Kisses, tbh.

Had no idea you had brought this thread back, but being unactive as i have been recently that probably explains why. Raw looks very strong with Orton squashing Goldberg (Please) and hopefully an awesome promo between Steiner/Rock. Will give the show a review when you post it..if i stay active that is lol
