RAW REVIEW
BY SC2004

(Better late then never. I didn’t review ECW as you clearly aren’t happy with it and it is very short!)

HERE GOES!

- Nice way to open the broadcast with a video recap of last weeks main event. It helps the reader catch up quickly, so it’s a good idea.

- Okay opening commentary. You plugged the tag team number one contender match, but nobody is interested in that, so you could of done more to hype tonight’s show.

- The opening segment was very short, but effective. I liked how you put over two of the biggest matches signed for backlash. Everything that Cena and Cena said made sense and they were pretty much in character. Nice way to set up the main event.

- Solid opening tag match with history behind it in the form of Miz and Kofi. The Miz isn’t anything special IMO and I think other people on the roster are more deserving of a push.

- Great backstage segment with Triple H and John Cena although I do think it came too soon. I man Cena just cut a promo in the previous segment. Triple H made some interesting remarks in relation to Kennedy and keeping him 100% for their match at Backlash.

- Poor Chuck Palumbo, loosing in his Raw debut! Ha. Nice win for Jeff and it’s good your keeping his profile up as he is Mr money in the bank.

- The Mickie James, William Regal backstage segment was sloppy and that match idea with Victoria is confusing. They were both out of character and the segment had no flow.

- I know it’s more logical to have an over team like Cryme Tyme go over and head to Backlash to face the tag team champions but it would have been nice if the underdogs won here and went over! Good match though none the less.

- TOO MUCH REGAL! I mean we just had a segment with him and Mickie and he was also in the opening segment of the show. This segment was okay. Regal wouldn’t call Jeff the biggest superstar on Raw. JBL wanting to team with Jeff seems odd and now he has to compete in a match next week for the privilege!! Doesn’t make any sense to me.

- The Katie Lea and Cryme Tyme backstage segment was very funny and very well written. Probably your best work so far tonight promo wise. I likes it a lot. You nailed Cryme Tyme.

- I’m torn between hating Bastia in the ECW title mix and loving the fact your using him to elevate Burke, Benjamin and the title itself. This segment, like most of your promo’s was short, but there was nothing fundamentally wrong with it.

- The Main event was a let down, but the aftermath was great and you’ve created two great feuds that should result in two great matches at Backlash.

OVERALL: This was a solid show. Nothing too memorable, but it was entertaining and I guess you can’t expect every show to blow you away. You’ve improved a lot lately, keep it up. I look forward to SmackDown.

Hey Rated R, firstly, sorry for the lateness of this review, I’ve been really busy.

Your Review

Opening Segment:I know the show’s in recap but I’ll still review, I liked Shelton’s cockiness, saying no one will stop him which is very “Gold Standard-ish.” And then the tables turn as it where when Elijah comes out and as expected he puts competition first, I liked this little segment, it hinted at a lot of things for the future and it created a little edge of tension. Good stuff here Rated R.

The Miz Vs CM Punk: Nice stuff here, the match was decent but I loved the ending with Layla playing an integral part, I like how Layla is Miz’ girlfriend, that works and then her getting on the apron and point blank refusing to budge was good and then the ending, it was very well put together with Punk shaking the ropes and then getting rolled up, nice win for The Miz! Hoorah!

Matt Striker Vs Tommy Dreamer: You know, this was good, Maryse in a school-girls outfit But yeah, I like the name “Academy” and Striker’s finishing move has a nice name, ‘The Golden Rule’ kind of rolls of the tongue, I like that Striker won and that Maryse got involved with the ending.

Matt Hardy Vs Mr. Kennedy: I liked this, I liked Kennedy’s cockiness and I liked how Hardy came out to answer the challenge, brilliant match, MOTN by a long, long mile and it was in a way a “rollercoaster” just as you described it, it was predictable Matt would win but a good match nonetheless and looking forward to next week’s edition.

Overall: Good show, I understand you may want a full review so if you do I’ll review RAW or Smackdown when it’s up, it’s just ECW was the latest show you posted.

SmackDown!

April 18, 2008

The show begins with a vid recap of the events of last week, where Big Show and the World Champion The Undertaker went at it. The match ended when both choked each other out, refusing to be lifted for a chokeslam, then Edge coming in to spear The Deadman.

Afterwards, we head to the interviewing section, where we see the lovely Eve standing by, smiling, with a microphone.

Eve: Hi, and welcome to Friday Night SmackDown! My guest at this time is the man that will compete in tonight's main event against the World Champion, The Undertaker, he is Y2J, Chris Jericho!

Chris Jericho then walks into view, looking calm and relaxed.

Eve: Chris, you've got a huge match tonight. If you win, you would be put right into contention for the World Heavyweight Championship. What're your thoughts about this great opportunity?

Jericho: Well, Eve, it's nice to see you as always. You're looking lovely tonight. But back on topic. The Undertaker is one of the greatest Superstars to ever set foot in a wrestling ring, I'll give him that. But I also fit that bill; after all, there's only one first-ever Undisputed Champion in history, and that's your's truly. I've had a week to prepare for this match, and I promise you, soon enough, that Big Gold Belt that he'll be wearing out to ring for our match, it'll be around my gorgeous waist.

We then cut to the arena, where Chavo Guerrero comes out to great heat, strutting down to the ring, wearing a bandana and a poncho. He enters the ring and poses for heat, then takes off his accessories when his opponent's music starts playing. John Morrison then comes out to a loud pop, doing his slo-mo entrance, and walks down to the ring, removing his coat and sunglasses. Chavo and Morrison talk a little trash, then the bells rings.

Singles Match:
Chavo Guerrero vs. John Morrison

Finish: The opening match that featured two former ECW Champions was a very fast-paced one, with both sides getting in plenty of time and offense, taking us through a commercial break. When we return, Chavo is in control, throwing Morrison into the ropes and trying a wild clothesline, but Morrison ducks underneath, and bounces off again. He nails Chavo with a dropkick, then makes a pin. Chavo kicks out at 2, and Morrison picks him up. He tries to whip Chavo into the ropes, but Chavo reverses into a kick to the midsection, then hits a vertical suplex. He rolls the hips for a second, then connects with the third to finish the Three Amigos! Chavo then points up and goes to the top of the turnbuckles, and measures Morrison, before jumping off for a Frog Splash! But no! Morrison got the knees up, and Chavo rolls a little in pain, stopping in front of the turnbuckles. Morrison gets to his feet, and notices Chavo's position.

He walks over to the corner, grabs the ropes, jumps, and applies the split-legged corkscrew moonsault to perfection! He then pulls Chavo away from the ropes, and makes a pin, but the Mexican Warrior manages to kick out at 2! Morrison can't believe it, and takes a moment to argue with the ref, but that allows Chavo to roll him up for a 2-count! Morrison barely got the shoulder up, and helps Chavo to his feet, before kicking him in the midsection, and grabbing his head. He looks for the Moonlight Drive, but Chavo slips out of the hold and hits a dropkick. Morrison gets to his feet, and Chavo charges at him, but Morrison catches him with an STO backbreaker, then flows with a neckbreaker slam. Morrison makes a pin, but the turnbuckles explode, and Kane walks out, down the ramp. Morrison forgets about Chavo and stares intently at Kane, with Kane doing the same. Morrison grabs ahold of the ropes and springboards over for a plancha, but Kane catches him in his arms, and rams him back-first into the steel post!

Winner:
John Morrison

Cole: For the third week in a row, Kane has interrupted John Morrison's match, but this time, he didn't wait for it to be over!

Coach: Kane's never been a patient guy, Cole.

Kane, with Morrison still in his arms, then powerslams him down on the steel ramp! The crowd booes loudly, but Kane pays no mind, and picks up Morrison by the hair. He starts to walk up the ramp to the back with, taking Morrison with him, but Morrison then begins to punch away at Kane's midsection, freeing himself. Morrison then connects with a kick to the midsection, grabs Kane's head, and hits the Moonlight Drive! Morrison rises to his feet, and looks down on Kane. He raises an arm as the crowd cheers, then continues walking to the back.

We then cut to the General Manager's office, where we see the Assistant GM Teddy Long admiring his portrait of Martin Luther King, Jr. There's a knock on the door, and CM Punk walks in, looking slightly angry.

Punk: Hey Teddy. Look, last week, I don't know why, but Finlay attacked me. Personally, I've never had a problem with Finlay, so I don't know what his beef is with me, but I want to get inside the ring with him and figure it out. Tonight.

Teddy: You know what, Punk? I'm glad you came to me first; I don't need any more senseless fighting on this show. Because of that, I'm giving you that match with Finlay, tonight.

Punk thanks him, and proceeds to walk out to prepare for the match, but Teddy stops him.

Teddy: Hold on a second, playa. I just got a great idea. Both you and Finlay are two of the top stars on this show, so how about the winner of your match goes on to Backlash for a tag team match against RAW? What do ya say to that?

Punk: You know what, Teddy? I like that idea a lot. It gives me another reason to beat Finlay tonight. But one question: who's the other guy that you've picked for Backlash?

Teddy: I'm not sure yet. But good luck out there.

The two shake hands, then Punk leaves and we go to break.

Commercial Break

When we return, The Academy comes out to heat, with Matt Striker leading Kenny Dykstra and Maryse down the ramp. Striker gets in the ring, leaving Kenny and Maryse on the outside. Shannon Moore's music starts to play to a decent pop, and The Reject comes out, accompanied by his partner, Jimmy Wang Yang. The two do a little dance on the ramp, and Shannon hands Jimmy his punked-out cowboy hat before getting in the ring to face Striker.

Singles Match:
Matt Striker (w/ Kenny Dykstra & Maryse) vs. Shannon Moore (w/ Jimmy Wang Yang)

Finish: Striker was hot off a vicotry over Tommy Dreamer from Tuesday on ECW, and it was evident he was confident in the match, taunting Shannon whenever he got the upper hand. However, Shannon began using his speed to get the advantage, and now, throws Striker into the ropes, then nails him with a spinning heel kick on the rebound. Shannon makes a pin, but Striker kicks out, and Striker gets to his feet, only to be chopped down with kicks to the calves. Striker falls to a knee, and Shannon bounces off the ropes for extra momentum for a dropkick, right to Striker's face! Shannon makes another pin, but Striker once again kicks out at 2. The Teacher shakes away the pain as Shannon helps him up, and is thrown at the ropes. Shannon looked for a second dropkick, but Striker hung on to the ropes, and Shannon fell on his back. Striker takes a second to rest before kicking a rising Shannon in the midsection, and hitting a powerful suplex.

Striker makes a pin, but only gets a 2. Striker picks him up and whips him into the corner, and charges for a clothesline, but Shannon manages to get his legs up around his neck, and presses off, nailing a spinning headscissors! Shannon then proceeds to hit a series of clotheslines, but when he tried for a third, Striker ducked, then hit a shoulder neckbreaker! Striker poses for heat, while his team cheers him on, and Striker makes a pin. Shannon barely kicks out, and Striker picks him up. He throws him off the ropes, bends over for a backdrop, but Shannon finds the energy to jump over him for a sunset flip into a pin! Striker manages to kicks out, and gets to his feet, charging at Shannon, but he catches him in a drop toehold, Striker landing throat-first on the ropes! Now, Maryse gets on the ropes, and begins arguing with the ref, and Kenny gets in the ring, taking down Shannon with a clothesline! Jimmy runs it too, but the ref sees him and ushers him out, while Striker hits the Golden Rule on Shannon! The ref sees the pin, 1... 2... 3! Striker wins it!

Winner:
Matt Striker

Cole: Oh come on! Striker of The Academy totally stole this match!

Coach: That can have two different meanings in wrestling, Cole.

Shannon rolls out of the ring, with Jimmy helping him make his way back up the ramp. Meanwhile, The Academy stands in the middle of the ring, with Striker having a mic in hand. The crowd booes him, so he waits for them to quiet down before speaking.

Striker: So here's an interesting story. On Tuesday, after my victory over Tommy Dreamer on ECW, Maryse and I were heading back to our hotel room, when she noticed she had a message on her phone. And get this: it was from Jamie Noble. Yeah. Jamie Noble somehow got Maryse's number, and called her to say that "I'm no good for her." Really, Jamie. I'm no good for her? I'm incredibly handsome, extremely intelligent, and athletically gifted. I'm virtually the ideal man. Jamie, you've convinced yourself that I'm a bad guy, and yet, you don't even know me. All of it stems from me having the girl that you failed to win over, so Jamie, I want you to really think: am I all that bad for Maryse? If you really care for Maryse, then you'll realize that she's better off with someone like me: a winner. I won here tonight, I'll win next week, and soon enough, I'll win the Tag Titles with Mr. Kenny Dykstra.

Striker drops the mic, and The Academy walks out of the ring as the fans boo them, and we go to break.

Commercial Break

When we come back, Finlay's music begins to play to a mixed reaction, and the Fighting Irishman comes out, stone-faced and with shillelagh in hand. He walks down to the ring, and the ref instructs him to put the weapon in the corner. Afterwards, CM Punk comes out to a great pop, and after working the crowd a little, he looks at Finlay with a determined look. He enters the ring and removes his shirt before the bell starts.

Singles Match:
Finlay vs. CM Punk
-The winner will represent SmackDown! in a Tag Team Match at Backlash

Finish: The opening saw a brawl between the two, with Finlay controlling at first, but the Straight Edge showed what he's truly made of, and fought back with great determination. Finlay then takes a small breather, with the crowd booing him for depriving them of wrestling. Finlay approaches them with an angry look, while the fans at ringside shouting at him. Finlay lifts his arm menacingly, but Punk comes from behind, grabs him, and whips him into the steel ring post! Finlay staggers around the outside of the ring, holding his shoulder, then rolls into the ring, with Punk following. Punk then looks to continue the offense, but Finlay catches him with a straight right to the face, then a knee to the stomache. Finlay then sends him off the ropes, and hits a hard clothesline. He makes a pin, but Punk kicks out, and Finlay picks him up, and whips him into the corner. Finlay charges at him, but runs into a clothesline! After a 2-count pin by Punk, we go to a break.

When we come back, the match continues with Finlay in control. He throws quick but powerful punches at Punk, but Punk manages to fight back, countering, then hitting his own punches. Punk then hits a spinning backfist, then nails a huge kick to Finlay's head! Finlay rolls out of the ring, holding his head in pain, then walks over to the crowd, and slaps a fan's drink out of his hand in frustration! The crowd booes loudly, but cheers when Punk dives over the top with a plancha on Finlay! The two are a little slow to get up, and Punk rolls into the ring at the ref's 5-count, then Finlay gets in as well. Finlay tries a clothesline, but Punk ducks, kicks him in the midsection, Devil Lock DDT! Punk makes a pin, but Finlay somehow kicks out! Punk helps him up, but Finlay charges into the corner, squishing the ref between the turnbuckles and Punk! Punk staggers out and the ref falls, allowing Finlay to grab his shillelagh, and whack Punk across the skull with it! He tosses it away and picks up the ref, placing him in sight of the cover, the slow count, 1... 2... 3! Finlay wins!

Winner:
Finlay

Cole: Finlay just used that damn shillelagh to steal the win!

Coach: It sure does seem that Finlay's back to his old ways.

The ref, still visibly hurting, raises Finlay's arm in victory, gaining heat from the crowd. Finlay then grabs his shillelagh and smirks as the ref helps up Punk, who's holding his head in pain. As the Fighting Irishman turns to leave the ring, he quickly turns back around and gives Punk another shot to the head! The crowd booes louder, while the ref keeps Finlay away from Punk. Finlay leaves the ring and walks back up the ramp, still smirking despite the crowd's jeers.

We then head backstage, where we see the Black Widow Victoria, as she's walking in the hallway. She stops in front of a door that reads "Divas". Victoria steps inside, and we see the brightly colored room, with the SmackDown! Divas look at her with a slight frown at first, then go back to their business.

Victoria: Alright, listen up, bitches!

This gets the Divas' attentions, and Michelle McCool steps up to Victoria.

Michelle: Whoah, whoah, "bitches?" Who do you think you are, calling us that?

Victoria: I'm Victoria, you know, the one that made you my bitch last week. Oh, and Torrie, how many times have I beat you? Hundred? Two hundred? Oh, don't think I've forgotten about you, Cherry, dear; if you want to get beaten by me too, all you have to do is ask. Anyway, two weeks ago Teddy Long picked me to beat Mickie James at Backlash for... something, and when I do that, I'll become the No. Contender to the Women's Title, and then I'll beat Mickie again. I'll be the one that finally brings the Women's Title to SmackDown!, giving all of you the opportunity to finally compete for a championship. But if I was you, I wouldn't get my hopes up, because like so many Divas before you, some of which are in this room now, you'll lose. Later, taters.

Victoria then leaves the locker room with an insincere wave, leaving the Divas frowning at her attitude, and we go to break.

Commercial Break

When we come back, the ring has a sand-and-beach over it, with two plastic trees keeping up a hammock, and a bucket of apples next to it. Carlito's entrance music starts to play to heat, and he comes out, not dressed to compete. He struts down the ramp, tossing an apple as he does, and enters the ring, where he picks up a mic from the hammock.

Carlito: Carlito started his WWE career on SmackDown!, winning the US Title in his very first match. I found a lot of success here on this brand, even creating my own talk show, Carlito's Cabana. Well, Carlito came back to SmackDown during the draft, and Carlito's promising each and every one of you, Carlito will achieve even more success this time. Anyway, on with the Cabana. This is the first Cabana on SmackDown! in about three years, so I wanted to bring it back in a big way. My guest tonight is riding the biggest wave of success in his career. This guy is a former 8-time Tag Team Champion. This guy is the No. 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title, and he is the current United States Champion, Matt Hardy!

The crowd pops extremely loud as Matt Hardy comes from the back, his US Title proudly on his shoulder. Matt climbs the turnbuckles once in the ring, the crowd popping as he holds up the V.1 sign. Matt's music is then cut, and he takes another mic from the hammock.

Carlito: Thanks for being here tonight, Matt.

Matt: Thanks for having me.

Carlito: Matt, this past Tuesday on ECW, you answered an open challenge, and if you won, you'd get an Intercontinental Title Match on the last episode of ECW. Well, you won, and next week, you will have the opportunity to hold both the US and Intercontinental Titles, and not only that, but you'd be bringing the Intercontinental Title to SmackDown!.

Matt: It's all about being in the right place at the right time. When Kennedy announced that he'd be holding an open challenge, I ran as fast as I could to get out there first, and luckily, I did. Opportunities at another brand's championships don't come too often, so I had to make the most of it, and it worked out. I'll tell you, Kennedy's not an easy person to beat, but I did it, and now, I'm so close to the Intercontinental Title, I can feel it. There aren't a lot of guys that've been able to be both Intercontinental and US Champions, and I know that I can be one of them. You're one of them, right, Carlito?

Carlito: That's right. Carlito won the US Title in his SmackDown! debut, and Carlito won the Interncontinental Title in his RAW debut. And you know, Matt, Carlito's glad you brought that up, because it leads Carlito to his next point. You see, Carlito wants to be a champion again. The US Title looked really good around Carlito's waist, and so did the Intercontinental Title. So Carlito was thinking, next week, "Matt Hardy vs. Carlito, for the United States and possibly the Intercontinental Championships." What do you think of that?

Matt thinks it over for a second, with Carlito wanting his answer to be "Yes", and as Matt raises the mic to his mouth, Teddy Long's music starts playing to a decent pop, and he comes out with a mic, remaining at the top of the ramp.

Teddy: Matt Hardy, first, I want to congratulate you on being the No. 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title. Hopefully, you'll be able to win in and bring the title over to SmackDown!. And as for having Matt Hardy vs. Carlito next week, it's on, playas!

The crowd pops, Carlito with a big smile on his face, and Matt nodding.

Carlito: Thanks a lot, Teddy Long! Carlito never thought you were cool, but you just changed Carlito's mind!

Teddy: You might want to hold off on the thanks right now, playa, because I wasn't done yet. We will have Matt Hardy vs. Carlito next week, but it won't be for the US Title, or possibly the Intercontinental Title. If you win, Carlito, then you will receive your title shot, the next week on SmackDown!. But that's not the only thing you'll be competing for, because the winner of the match, will join Finlay at Backlash against RAW's finest to bring a new talent to SmackDown!.

The crowd pops again, and Carlito and Matt look at each other, with Carlito giving him an arrogant smirk, signaling for the title, and we go to break.

Commercial Break

Cole: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to Friday Night SmackDown!, where it is now time for our main event.

Coach: World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker goes up against a man that wants to hold that title, Chris Jericho.

The lights dim in the arena, and a countdown starts on the TitanTron. It ticks down from five to zero, and Chris Jericho appears at the top of the ramp to an enormous pop, his back to us, arms outstretched. He swivels forward, and walks down to the ring with a big smile. He enters and poses as the fans cheer, then all the lights go out. A red spotlight shines at the top of the ramp, illuminating the black-robed Six to a nice pop, as his metal remix of Tubular Bells plays in the background. He strides down to the ring, and waits at the bottom of the ramp as the beam goes out, and a gong is rung to the biggest pop of the night. The World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker appears at the top of the ramp, and makes his slow descent down. Once in the ring, he removes his hat, coat, and last, the World Title belt. The ref takes them, and our main event is underway.

Singles Match:
Chris Jericho vs. The Undertaker (w/ Six)

Finish: The two big names wrestled pretty quickly, with 'Taker having the advantage most of the time, combining his speed with power. The wily Jericho found ways to counter several of the World Champion's moves, and now, with 'Taker a little dazed, Jericho climbs the turnbuckles, and flies off with a missile dropkick! Jericho makes a pin, but 'Taker kickes out. Jericho gets up and takes a moment to study The Deadman, and as he's about to take off for the ropes, he sits up! He quickly makes it back to his feet, where Jericho meets him with punches, but The Phenom fires back, taking control. He drives Jericho into the corner, where the ref separates them. Jericho bursts out of the corner, but 'Taker sidesteps him! Jericho almost collides with the opposite corner, but grabs ahold of the ropes and elevates himself, but Undertaker catches him on his shoulder! He takes him to another corner, and drops Y2J for snake eyes! 'Taker bounces off the ropes, and connects with a big boot! He makes a pin, but Jericho kicks out! The Undertaker gets to his feet and runs his thumb across his throat, and picks up Jericho. He places him between his legs, and lifts him up for the Last Ride! Jericho battles back with a flurry of punches, and 'Taker releases him. Jericho then charges at him, and looks for the Codebreaker, but 'Taker pushes him away. Suddenly, he turns around, right into a spear from Edge!

Winner:
The Undertaker

Cole: Oh come on! That was a great match, completely ruined by Edge!

Coach: I don't blame Edge at all; has a TLC Match with him in a week!

The WWE Tag Team Champions Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder run into the ring, and take on Six, who had begun to brawl with Edge. The three are almost evenly matched, while Edge has some words with Jericho. The two shove each other, until Six lands a big punch to Edge's face, and he falls to the mat, and rolls out of the ring. Accompanied by Hawkins and Ryder, they begin to retreat up the ramp again, but once again, Teddy Long's music starts playing to a nice pop. Teddy comes out to the top of the ramp with a mic in hand, looking a little annoyed.

Teddy: Hold on a second, Edge. I'm not going to have you spearing everyone you see if it's not part of a sanctioned match. So next week, I'm going to give you an opportunity to do so as many times as you like. Next week, you are going to be in a match, but it won't be any kind of match. You see, you're the European Champion, and I think that you should be defending the title. So here's what we're going to do: you'll be putting that title on the line against the man that you won it from. Next week, it will be Edge vs. Six for the European Championship!

The crowd cheers loudly as Edge yells at Teddy for the decision. He then turns to Six, who has his arms outstretched behind a kneeling Undertaker as the lights dim and become an eery blue. Edge looks at the master and apprentice, with 'Taker holding up the coveted World Title as the show ends.

Finlay defeats CM Punk to represent SmackDown! in a tag team match at Backlash

The Undertaker defeats Chris Jericho (disqualification)

--------------------

Booker's Notes: This show was a little short (especially the main event, but that's a money match, so it had to be short), and I know it wasn't my best, but I got it done before I thought I would, so I'm happy about that. A funny thing, though, is that I originally booked Matt Striker vs. Jimmy Wang Yang for the show, but I wasn't paying attention to my hand-written show, and by mistake I used Shannon Moore. Not much to comment on this show, although only one episode each of RAW, SD!, and ECW, before Backlash. Thanks.

RYU review for Smackdown

Y2J segment: strange to see Smackdown opens up with a backstage interview, anyway this was a good way to build up the main event and i liked Y2J in this segment, he looked serious and it shows how bad Y2J wants his hands on the championship. cant wait for Y2J-Taker match tonight.

Chavo Guerrero vs. John Morrison: this should be a good match. The match started really well, it was the finish only but you wrote this match very good and it was fun reading this fast pace match. You had this match going on very good until Kane came out. Im wondering why he came out but Morison looked strong in this match and i liked it. why did Morisson had to do this, now he has to pay the price. Kane attacking Morisson and taking him to the back, looks like i have missed a bit from the past. Oh so from 3 weeks Kane is intefering in Morison matches, so this makes Morison face, damn this should be good. Interesting storyline here.

Matt Striker (w/ Kenny Dykstra & Maryse) vs. Shannon Moore (w/ Jimmy Wang Yang): I wish it should have Kenny instead of Matt. Anyway this match was again well written and i like how Shannon was doing his moves smartly. It was obvios since Kenny was outside so he would intefere and so he did so nice match up here with good win for the heels. But i dont like matt. Aftermath, dont know wht was tht bout but i liked it seriously. this was a good segment and cant wait to see them as tag champs. Hope Kenny is being used to his full potential.

Finlay vs. CM Punk: This had to be MOTN and i really enjoyed it. Finlay is my fav and i was glad to see he won the match as i thought Finlay will again job but instead he won and this was a great match and Punk looked impressive aswell but sorry for him he lost and i dont care how Finlay won but it looked real and i loved this match. Good way to make him look good. aftermath attack was great aswell. so great booking here and i love this bastard finlay who care for no one.

Victoria segment: I dont think in reality Victoria will call the divas Bitches. very unrealistic. ANyway i liked this segment and it was great to see Victoria being so confident and i like her line against torie tht was funny. Hope Mickie retains as i never have lked victoria.

Carlito cabana: I have always love this show and hope it continues to be so. This was a great promo and i loved Carlito smart tactics here and its interesting to see Matt with the us title but still he is the no.1 contender for ic title. Both were in character and i loved this promo, it was very well written and teddy coming out made things lot better
and cant wait for next week so hope Carlito wins and Carlito wins the ustile and i dont think, matt wil win the IC title aswell. So great promo and cant wait for next week smkdown.

Chris Jericho vs. The Undertaker (w/ Six): SIX who is he. anyway this match was kinda short but it was well written and i loved it. Y2J and taker looked impressive in this match and hope Y2J wins as he is awsome in ring and on mic anyway Taker looked strong in this match and great counter by Y2J and i wish he had connected to Code breaker on Taker but wht, Edge came down and still Taker won, interesting. Why Edge beat up Jericho. A TLC match with Y2j, damn this should be good cant wait for it.
Another great aftermath segment and plz tell me who is this 6 guy becoz he looks kinda interesting guy and Zack n Kurt as tag champs is awsome so la familia is in this btb aswell cant wait. I love this and Teddy once again coming out was good to see. So some good matches made for next week and cant wait for next week. Edge as european champ is awsome and where did this title came from. Anyway this show was great and i loved it.

Review for Rated R Champs Smackdown

Recap of last weeks show to start off is good and I am interested to see if Undertaker gets revenge tonight.

Jericho interview was short and sweet and I hope he beats Taker tonight so that way even if he does not get title shot straight away you have a wild card sniffing around the title division and that will make for more entertaining stuff to happen.

Well the opener between Chavo and Morrison was very well written I think. You see sometimes when I read peoples matches I do not get into them and my mind drifts and It takes me ages to read. This match just seemed to flow well I liked but I really wish that Morrison actually got to pick up the victory but I understand storylines have to continue and stuff so yeah. After the match when Kane nailed the Power Slam I was thinking Chokeslam off the stage or Tombstone on the ramp I never thought Morrison would make a come back and for that I applaud you as it was entertaining because it was something I did not expect. Great start to the show I hope the rest of the show is this good for me to read.

Okay well good little bit of interaction between Teddy Long and CM Punk here. Punk vs Finlay should be an okay match and winner goes on to Backlash to face Raw. That is good because this means it is not just a pointless match this match has meaning to it as the winner has something to strive towards.

Okay well before I read the match I just wanted to let you know that I love The Academy I think It is a clever faction and one that would easily get under the fans skin. Yet another match that I found entertaining to read good result but I picked it to happen. I thought that Kenny would interfere and get the win because that way the heel faction get more heat. So yep good choice here.

Promo afterwards was good and I am sure that there has got to be more brewing between Matt Striker and Jamie Noble.

Yet another fun match to read with Finlay and Punk and practically the whole way through I was expecting Punk to win and get revenge for last weeks attack so I was more then surprised to see that you gave Finlay the win. But as I said earlier suprising is good if a BTB is to predictable it gets boring to read so yeah another fair effort here.

Finlay getting the extra hit with the shillelagh after the match was classic I quite liked it.

I loved this Divas promo in most peoples thread including my own I lose interest in the Divas feuds (I need to change this LOL) But anyway yeah and well Victoria barging in to the locker room and putting everyone in line like that actually got me quite interested and I am not sure if she will beat Mickie but I hope she does as I can see her dominating Smackdown for a long time.

I found Carlito’s Cabana to be good here. It just flowed well and I was actually surprised that Carlito did not get to cocky and get his ass kicked because that is what usually happens but no instead we have Carlito vs Matt Hardy for next week and I am sure that will be a terrific match up.

For a main event this match was quite short but it seemed competitive which is good you did not make Jericho job but I was disappointed with the dq finish as that bastard Edge just keeps getting in the Undertakers way. I hope he gets what is coming to him which I think he eventually will. Well Edge may just get what is coming to him next week and if he does not then he will in the TLC match against Taker I think. Well done for Teddy Long straightening out the law.

Overall a pretty good show I quite enjoyed it, it seemed to flow nicely and just continued to progress the storylines well. The only thing I could have against it is that it was a bit short but you did mention that in your booker notes and I do not really care I would much rather quantity over quality so good effort mate. Well done I will continue to read.

Backstage Notes:

Quote:
-With all the talent that has resigned with the WWE lately, the company is also looking to sign new talents. One name that is brought up a lot in backstage meetings is the Mexican wrestler Místico. The masked luchador is currently working with Mexican promotion CMLL, and has been approached by the WWE in the past.

-Another topic of the backstage meetings regards the tag team division. Management feels that with new additions in Cryme Tyme and The Academy, the division can stay strong for the time being, but long-term, it will need new blood to keep it strong.

-Talia Madison and Melissa Anderson, the two female wrestlers that left TNA for WWE, have been working down in FCW with the rest of the resigned talent, sharing veteran tips with the developmental talent.
Booker's Notes: I'm not going to go too much into detail about these notes. The story tells itself.

And here's a list of all the resigned talent, and what their roles will be:

N/A: Active performer
N/A: Active performer

N/A: Active performer
N/A: Active performer
N/A: Active performer
N/A: On-air personality
