12/4/2007: A new batch of superstars have signed 3-month contracts with GWE. No less than 6 wrestlers have all agreed on joining the brand new promotion of Hulk Hogan. The wrestlers involved are the duo of Doug and Danny Basham, Kid Kash, Mark Jindrak, Matt Sydal and Scott Taylor(better know as Scotty Too Hotty).
12/7/2007: Perhaps one of the biggest signings of GWE to date has happened today. Hulk Hogan’s company has signed none other than Rob Van Dam! RVD had been out of WWE for a while and was indicating he would be signing with TNA, but that obviously didn’t happen as now he has signed with Global Wrestling Entertainment. The new company keeps growing everyday, with new signings, each one bigger than the last.
And a few more signings. Also, @Jae, I know I'm using mostly WWE alumni. The reason is very simple: I'm a main stream wrestling fan. I watch WWE only, sometimes TNA, but it's been a while. I do not want to bring down any indy wrestler or Japanese wrestler by using them in a wrong way or not using them to their full potential. So yea, that's reason.
Okay, so j/k. Looks good, and Hogan is God, so this is good stuff. It makes sense to not bring in indy guys, because Hogan's not the kind of promoter who would want to have spot monkeys. He wants a WWE Style, and he'll want legends from the past. So with that said, take a look at some of the older guys, i.e. the Nasty Boys. Some other veterans that you may want to look at would be Greg Valentine, Honky Tonk Man, Tatanka, and Brutus Beefcake. Do I recommend you sign them? Nope. But it'd be a nice touch. Other former WWE & WCW alumni worth a shot are Charles 'The Godfather' Wright, Lash Leroux, and of course, Giant Bernard (A-Train).
If you already have a set roster that you want to work with, then nevermind. Just thought I'd throw at some names for you since you could be working with a limited roster possibly. I wish ya' the best, and some fun times. This looks like a nice project for ya'.

Great idea, really original. I never watched ECW or WCW back in the day, or TNA today so its cool to see so many of the WWE alumni. A few years back this could of been a reality and it should be fun to see what direction you plan to go in. I'll keep reading for sure. Good luck.
12/12/2007: GWE has signed yet another wrestler. Frankie Kazarian, better known as Kaz from TNA has signed a 3-month contract with GWE. This comes as somewhat a surprise, as Kazarian was said to be in for a push within TNA.
Could it be that GWE immediately makes a huge statement within the Sports Entertainment business? Hulk Hogan is said to be very interested in opening a developmental territory ala Ohio Valley Wrestling or Florida Championship Wrestling. Hogan says that with a developmental territory his company would be ensured with topnotch talent that, if trained well, could be called up anytime when necessary. It is unclear at this time whether Hogan wants to start his own developmental territory or buy out an existing one.
Another superstar added to the list. First show probably won't be untill early January.
Kaz seems like a good signing. I'm liking this more and more each time. I like the reality of a new company trying to make signings and all. It would be sweet if you actually posted people who turned down the contract offer and things like that. Anyway the developmental camp thing sounds good and in my opinion is a must.
12/21/2007: And another few wrestlers have signed three month contracts with GWE. This time, two females have decided to engage in the GWE project. The two female wrestlers are Jillian Hall and Torrie Wislon. And Torrie isn’t coming alone, she’s bringing her husband Billy Kidman along with her.
12/24/2007: Christmas eve has brought the GWE a present, as another wrestler has signed a contract with GWE. This time it’s WWE’s recently released Ken Doane who has signed a 3 month deal. Doane was seen as one of the rising stars within WWE, but never really made it to the big leagues. Now he will attempt to do just that within GWE.
