Tuesday Night Showdown Preview by Paul Lewis

Once again, eminating live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in the very heart of Manhattan, Extreme Wrestling Entertainment presents Tuesday Night Showdown, on NBC at 9 pm eastern time!

A lot of tremendous wrestling action just like each and every weekand to start this week's TNS off, we have two of the best female wrestlers going at it one-on-one in a Retaliation Rematch! Cheerleader Melissa & Sara Del Rey will do battle in a contest that will not be for the SHIMMER Championship and according to Larry Sweeney, head of Sweet & Sour Inc., Cheerleader Melissa is just not fit for a title shot after she was ridiculed at the PPV. We'll see about that tomorrow Mr. Sweeney!

Also this week, a stable makes its debut on EWE Television. They're from New York and they love a good fight, the FBI, Full Blooded Italians; Big Vito, Big Sal E. Rinauro, Little Guido Maritato, Tony Mamaluke & Trinity, an 8-Men Tag Team Matchup pitting them against a good crop of wrestlers: Bio-Hazard, Matt Stryker, Chad Collyer & Caprice Coleman, all of them in an "Anything Goes In the Streets of New York" affair! Bada-BING!

Another stable that will make its EWE TV debut are coming straight from ROH, to Jesse Ventura's huge pleasure... the No Remorse Corps; Roderick Strong, Rocky "Azucar" Romero & Davey Richards. They've laid out the challenge and another capable trio of wrestlers is bound to answer it, but just who will it be?!

Speaking of Ring of Honor, this week's ROH Showcase is bound to blow of the roof and the foundations off of the Hammerstein Ballroom. Two brothers, one goal, getting back on track as the true hunters they are capable of being. Hot on their tracks, the crop of ROH Tag Teams that are savouring the thought of gold in their minds, but most of all, the Age of the Fall, growing in numbers each week it would seem, the Briscoes Brothers were brought down to their very knees last week. In the back of their mind, the hanging and the swerve, now, Jay & Mark do battle this week on TNS to ignite that flame inside of them, wrestling fans, you cannot miss these two brothers going at it, MAN UP!

But the most important part of the night will be the crowning of the very first Champion here in the EWE. The likes of Super Crazy, Jerry Lynn, Doug Williams & 2 Cold Scorpio all tried their hardest to make it to this day, but the two men that will stand face to face in the middle of the ring to capture the EWE Television Championship are none other than Christopher Daniels & Yoshihiro Tajiri. A Dream Rematch from Retaliation and the EWE Television Championship is up for grabs. Who will gown in history as the first EWE Television Champion? Tune in to find out!

You'll also get to hear from Da Baldies as they prepare for Super Brawl and Vampiro & Raven's strange feud will undoubtebly take a deranged turn tomorrow on Tuesday Night Showdown, live on NBC at 9 pm Eastern time!

This show is looking good. This is a reel fresh thing in the BTB section. Altough I don't know alot of the guys and gals in this promotion it still is a fun read. The previews are different and the whoe concept is different to anything else on the board.

Looking forward to the FBI making their way onto the scene. Thier match will be a gooden in my opinion. I'm not a tremendous fan of stables, unless they are done right, and I've got a pretty strong feeling you will do them right, and do them justice.

One thing I have to say is, it's good how your using the younger and talented stars, giving them the limelight in their own promotion as sorts seems like a good thing to do.

The brother vs. brother match looks cracking too. You know, for some wierd reason when I thought it was going to be Kane and The Undertaker. I know that sounds so far-fetched because they are not in this company, and they woulsn't really fit into it either, but as soon as I read that it's the Briscoe Brothers, I marked out a little bit.

So as usual I'll be reaidn this next show. I'll have to start dropping my comments and thoughts more reguarly, but for now, I'm just enjoying reading it in my own little way.

I wish you all the best with this thread and I hope it continues to grow.

Thanks for the post mate, really appreciate it.

I'll have the show up quite soon actually. Wouldn't be able to give anyone a sure date, but, it'll be up at best before Sunday Night rolls along.

TUESDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN
Live on NBC
Tuesday, February 12th, 2008
New York City, NY (Hammerstein Ballroom)
// EWE_Pro_Wrestling.Com Live Feed Version without Commercials //

DARK MATCH
B-Boy defeated Ace Crusader (GOUGE fame) in 2:38 with the Shining Wizard.

***OPEN FEED***

The opening video for Tuesday Night Showdown begins to play, its theme song, "Some Kind of Monster" by Metallica playing in the background, over the images and highlights of some of the most memorable (thus far) moments in EWE's short term history. (Most of it from the EWE's very first PPV, Retaliation) After 35-40 seconds, the EWE & TNS logos appear on the screen before the opening video ends and the image switches to the live and raucous New York City crowd in the Hammerstein Ballroom. TNS's theme song continues to play out in the Ballroom and the camera pans around from high above the venue as we hear the voice of Joey Styles welcoming us to Tuesday Night Showdown and as the camera's image moves from the perched announcing position where Joey Styles & Jesse Ventura are standing, backs turned to the action.

Joey Styles - "You are watching Tuesday Night Showdown live tonight once more on NBC, alongside me, my broadcast partner Jesse the Body Ventura and tonight's action packed show will be nothing short of extreme, entertaining and packed with wrestling action like no other show on tv can give you."

Jesse Ventura - "Well we already know that we are crowning our very first EWE Champion here tonight with the EWE Television Championship at stakes, not to mention the arrival of the FBI, the Full Blooded Italians and the challenge that was issued by the No Remorse Corps to any trio of EWE wrestlers this past Saturday."

***WHY DO YOU CALL MY NAME?***

Joey Styles cocks his eyebrows as he hears the entrance theme song of none othan Muhammad Hassan, while Jesse Ventura turns around with a grin on his face looking over at the entrance way.

Joey Styles - "Well... it looks like we'll be joined here by the man that secured his spot at Super Brawl last week in our Main Event, Muhammad Hassan."

The image cuts to the entrance area, the lighthing and the smoke filters out from the black curtains, as Daivari and Muhammad Hassan step out from the curtain to a near riot like reaction. Hassan takes this reception in, breathing the foul air of his surroundings, spitting on the ground he walks on, cursing it. While Daivari badmouths every fan he sees before him in his native tongue. Both men walk down the steps and barely make it to the ring, if not for the very well trained members of the security. Hassan gets in the ring and climbs the turnbuckles, garnering even more heat from the crowd at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Hassan's music dies down, letting way for a thunderous shower of heat. Daivari grabs a hold of the microphone that was just seconds ago in the hands of Bob Artese, tapping it to see if it is working before going on another tirade towards the fans.

Thunderous heat filters the crowd, as Daivari can barely get through his speech without having to hear all sorts of deragatory remarks thrown at him and his client. He passes the microphone over to Hassan who as a hard time even beginning to speak for his time on the stick.

Muhammad Hassan - "You people wouldn't know when to applaud an athlete such as himself!"

*BOOS*

Muhammad Hassan - "You would rather... cheer for someone the likes of AJ Styles... (Fans begin to cheer for AJ's name being mentioned but Hassan quickly spits on the ground garnering heat) THIS IS WHAT I THINK OF AJ STYLES!!"

*BOOS*

Muhammad Hassan - "I TOLD YOU ALL!! That I, MUHAMMAD HASSAN!! Would be on its way towards greatness here in the EWE! But you would not, could not, never fadom the thought of someone far superior than you in every aspect of life, achieving more than your so-called american clad heroes!! So your turn your back on someone like me through prejudice, racism, fear of what's not there to fear, and by hating me, you hate yourselves for the lack of sucess you've found in your own lives!!"

*BOOS*

Muhammad Hassan - "And so... for the men that will be lucky enough to be graced by the presence of I... come Super Brawl I... I have but one thing to say to you all... I, MUHAMMAD HASSAN!!! will grab destiny by the arms, lock it in my dreaded Camel Clutch, and I will ride this momentum all the way to a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BELT!!! Which I WILL BRING BACK TO MY HOME LAND!!! And all you people will then praise me, the great, the revered, MUHAMMAD HASSAN!!!"

*BOOS*

Hassan lifts his arms in the air to salute his God. Daivari grabs a hold of the microphone and starts to praise Hassan some more until...

***ALSO SPRACH ZATHRUSTA***

*WHOOOOO!*

The crowd goes nut for the first time of the night for any of the men that have come out from the curtains, ackowledging the presence of the Nature Boy, Ric Flair, as he walks out from the back through the black curtains, dressed to impress, a microphone in his hand. Flair looks over the at the crowd, throwing up the "4" Horsemen sign up for some fans, while letting out small "WHOOS!" here and there, waiting for his music to die down, which does.

*CHEERS*

Ric Flair - "Hassan! You did indeed win yourself the biggest match of your career last week on this show. But pal, the road's just starting out for you, so, hold your horns right there because getting through 7 of the best wrestlers on this planet today won't be about destiny or anything like that. It is going to be about who wants it more, and who's got the most stamina to last 7 matches in two nights. The reason I am out here is on behalf of someone in the back who, thanks to your victory last week, will be facing you in the opening round of the 8 Men League Challenge at Super Brawl. And I have agreed to his request for tonight, so, why not bring him out here so he can inform of just his request was to me just a few minutes ago! WHOO! STING!! COME ON OUT HERE!! WHOOO!!!"

***SEEK & DESTROY (LIVE @ WOODSTOCK '99)***

The crowd goes into another frenzy as they await the arrival of Sting through the curtains. Sting finally shows up, shaking Flair's hand and pointing at the numerous fans in the crowd. Flair hands the microphone over to Sting, staying besides him, putting his hands in his pockets, waiting for this whole scenario to unfold in front of him. Sting's music dies down...

*CHEERS*

Sting - "WOOOOOOOOO!!"

*CHEERS*

Sting - "New York City!!! (Crowd cheers once more) The Stinger was in the back, and like all of you, he was getting sick and tired of people running their mouths about what they want to do, when they haven't even scraped the surface of the earth just yet! So Hassan, like must have been very much aware of over the course of this past week, you and I will step foot in that ring at Super Brawl in our very first encounter. But, since you seemed to me so confident in you mowing down through the competition, I was inching to see just how ready you were for the big PPV coming up at the month. So, I went up to Ric, and asked him a question. I asked him: "Ric, this is New York City, this is the town that never surrenders, this is the town that gaves us great fighthing champions that never stayed down when in a fight, so Ric, how about we judge that Muhammad Hassan guy tonight, in the Main Event, by booking him and me in a LAST MAN STANDING MATCH!!"

*CHEERS*

While the crowd goes nuts for the announcement, Hassan and Daivari also go nuts, but, for totally different reasons. Sting lets out another cry of "WOOO" before his theme song blares out through the Ballroom once more. Sting leaves through the curtain first after posing for the crowd. Flair then looks back at Hassan & Daivair, smiling, and he too, leaves through the curtains. Leaving Hassan & Daivari to storm off out of the ring, trying to go catch Flair so they can change his mind about the decision he rendered without their consensus.

The image cuts back to the perched broadcast booth where Joey Styles & Jesse Ventura turn back around to face the camera, their backs now to the action.

Joey Styles - "Well it doesn't look like Muhammad Hassan's huge victory last week will mean much after tonight when he's pretty much forced in a Last Man Standing Match against Sting?!"

Jesse Ventura - "I have all the respect in the world for Ric Flair but that's taking his hold of power too far and Hassan shouldn't have to be forced in such a position against such a veteran of wrestling the likes of Sting!"

Joey Styles - "Be that as it may, our Main Event is now set and ready to take place at the end of the broadcast but for now, two of the best women's wrestlers in the world today are set to take center stage, as Cheerleader Melissa will take on Sara Del Rey in a Non-Title Matchup, stemming from the events that took place at Retaliation, this battle between Melissa & Del Rey is sure to explode once they get in that ring in just a matter of minutes!"

Image cuts to a highlight video of Cheerleader Melissa & Sara Del Rey's battle for the SHIMMER Championship at Retaliation, set to, in the background, "Doomsday Clock" by the Smashing Pumpkins. The video goes through some of the best moments of the matchup, not leaving the commentary of Styles & Ventura out. The video depicts how both women where really on equal grounds, before all hell broke loose and Larry Sweeney & Chris Hero got involved, followed by Claudio Castagnoli's timely save.

Image cuts back to ringside.

***GENESIS***

The very imposing horns let way for the new wave techno beat a la Daft Punk from the french duo, Justice. Melissa steps out from the black curtains and looks very confident yet happy she's getting her hands on Sara tonight. Without being fancy, Melissa finds her way in the ring, awaiting her opponent for the night.

***THIS SUFFERING***

Out comes Sara, carrying both of her Championship belts with her, behind her, just finishing up an important conversation on his cellular phone, "Sweet & Sour" Larry Sweeney pumps up his protege, throwing insults at the fans and pointing in the ring at Cheerleader Melissa. Sweeney stops near the ring to jaw jack a fan and this also gets Sara's attention. Meanwhile, Cheerleader Melissa walks up close to the ropes and does the unthinkable as Sweeney & Del Rey turn around. SPRINGBOARD PLANCHA ON BOTH SWEENEY & DEL REY!!

Non-Title Singles Match
Sara Del Rey (c) w/ Larry Sweeney Vs. Cheerleader Melissa

This match started off with a ''boom'' with Melissa's daredevil antics before the bell even had rung but, once this match got underway, it was 10 minutes of nothing but stiff, take no prisoners wrestling from both females. Easily over a hundred chops and forearm shots were delivered in this short period of time and the atmosphere in and around the ring was hectic even though the belt was not on the line for Cheerleader Melissa to capture. It seemed as though Sara was not able to keep Melissa down during the whole matchup for a long period of time, as Melissa was always finding counters to Sara's diverse arsenal. In the late stages of this match, Sara hooked Melissa for her dreaded Tiger Suplex. Melissa was able to wraps her legs around Sara's while in mid-air and reverse that hold into a inside rollup that almost gave her the upset victory! Both women found themselves back on their feet quickly and Melissa was the first to connect, bouncing off the ropes, with a Lariat. Sara didn't move one inch and hits the ropes as well. Lariat by Del Rey! Melissa stays put with all the energy she can muster and she bounces off the ropes once more hitting Sara with another Lariat! But Sara doesn't flinch. Sara hits the ropes once more, looking for her front kick to the gut. Melissa side steps it! Hooks both her legs around Sara's arms and rolls her over for another pinning combination which almost gave her the win again! But Sara has hooked Melissa with the Double Wristlock Choke & Melissa has nowhere to go! Melissa tries to wiggle out of the hold as best she can! And she manages to get back up on her feet but still not able to break free of the hold. Melissa walks towards one of the corners and jumps at the turnbuckles, pushing off of them and falling backwards onto Sara who's still holding on tight! Sara's shoulders are down and Melissa is on top of Sara while referee Robarb Jones makes the cover and Melissa gets the quick upset victory on Sara Del Rey!!! @ (8:30)

Larry Sweeney is quick to get in the ring and get into the referee's face. Sara has released the hold and cannot believe what just happened to her. Melissa founds herself on the outside, clutching at her neck and throat while referee Robarb Jones slides to the outside to officialy raise Cheerleader Melissa's hand in victory, infuriating even more Sweeney and pissing off Sara even more!

*** Video Promoting SHIMMER DVD Tapings No. 17 & 18 on April 26th in Berwynn, Illinois with Special Guest of Honor Beulah McGillicutty + SHIMMER DVDs no. 13 & 14 On Sale Now! ***

Back at ringside, four men stand in the ring; Bio-Hazard, Matt Stryker & Chad Collyer & Caprice Coleman. Bob Artese takes center stage and adresses the audience.

Bob Artese - "Ladies and Gentlemen, this next contest, is a "Anything Goes In the Streets of New York" 8-Men Tag Team Match!"

***NO SLEEP 'TILL BROOKLYN w/ STAYIN' ALIVE (REMIX) INTRO***

A surprisingly good wave of cheers is heard for the New York paisans. Big Vito is first out from the back, carrying on his shoulders Sal Rinauro, while Guido, Mamaluke & Trinity walk up behind them. The FBI make their way around ringside, surrounding their 4 opponents for the night. They all look at one another and rush in the ring to jumpstart this match!

Anything Goes
8-Men Tag Team Match

The Full Blooded Italians (Vito, Rinauro, Guido & Mamaluke) w/ Trinity Vs. Bio-Hazard, Matt Stryker, Chad Collyer & Caprice Coleman

This matchup didn't really go very far in terms of leaving the ringside area. But, the use of steel chairs was prevalent on the part of the FBI mostly. The sheer inexperience of the makeshift team of Bio-Hazard, Stryker, Collyer & Coleman was apparent throughout this matchup, and their true talent paled in comparison to the tremendous work rate, as a team, of the FBI as a whole. One of the high moments of adrenaline in this matchup saw Trinity perform a death-defying Moonsault Press from the top turnbuckle onto Stryker, Collyer & Coleman as they were all on the outside! This matchup ended when Big Vito hooked Caprice Coleman up for the Impaler DDT on a Steel Chair. But instead of going for the cover, tagged in his cousin, Sal Rinauro, who just hooked on an Oklahoma Roll (or Italian Roll in this case) on Coleman for the easy 3 count pinfall victory @ (6:29)

The FBI celebrated in the ring, Vito extremely happy with his little cousin's big victory in this matchup, while Guido, Mamaluke & Trinity all looked a bit puzzle by Vito's sudden outburst of joy, yet, celebrated in their own way but taunting the crowd to a max.

Joey Styles - "Well the Full Blooded Italians make an impactful debut here in the EWE, but, another team who really wants to make an impact in the EWE is comprised of two of New York's roughest, toughest, meanest individuals to ever step into a ring, they are Angel & Devito, Da Baldies!!"

Camera switches from the ringside area to some pre-recorded footage with the mention of "late last night" at the bottom of the screen.

In the cold streets of New York City, the wet ground mirroring off the ground, thanks to the many street lights, half of them broken, the camera takes all of this into consideration before walking on the curb, on its right, a apartment building, small windows all lit down, possibly because the building has been abandoned. Walking out from the corner, two men wearing black from head to toe. One larger in stature and with dark skin. The other, smaller, smoke filtering out of a almost finished cigar. They walk forward as does the camera, and everybody stops once they've all come pretty much face to lens.

Tony Devito - "We're a bit pissed off that we'll have to leave our home sweet home in a couple of days, but that's okay, because once we come back, Second City, my ass! Backseat Boyz, yeah, I can see the resemblance you faggot-ass boy band! And the friggin' James Gang! You're looking at your very first Tag Champs right here! And there ain't nothing we haven't seen and had done to us in these streets that you will be able to bring to us, because we've seen it all, done it all, and in between, we've busted a few skulls open, ha!"

Angel - "We the Kings of Streets, and soon enough, we'll be the Tag Team Campiones. And you better believe it, because there ain't no recourse you can take once Da Baldies have just passed you by!"

Image cuts back to ringside.

***THE FOUR HORSEMEN***

Out from the back, carrying with him a championship covered with a black velvet bag, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson makes his way down to the ring, representing one of the EWE Officials as part of the EWE Matchmakers, being one of the intricate members in the booking of the EWE Television Championship "mini-tournament" that has been taken place over the last couple of weeks. Arn makes his way to the ring pretty quickly walking right up to ring announcer Bob Artese.

Joey Styles - "In just a matter of minutes, our very first champion here in the EWE will be crowned in the form of either Christopher Daniels or Yoshihiro Tajiri, as one of these men will hold high the EWE Television Championship for all to see."

Bob Artese - "Ladies & Gentlemen, at this time, let me introduce to you Mr. Arn Anderson!"

*CHEERS*

Arn Anderson - "Now I came out here a few weeks back and told the 6 men involved in this battle for this belt right here that they would have the immense task of carrying this belt I have in my posession week in and week out and defend it like a true champion should on both shows and on PPVs if needed to, so, let's unveil the belt right now and let's get the two wrestlers who'll battle for it out here right now!"

The crowd applauds Anderson's short and to the point words while he takes care of unveiling the very beautiful piece of gold now known as the EWE Television Championship. Taking inspiration from both the WCW & ECW versions (in its latter years) with a pretty round center plate, the EWE initials on top of the plate, engraved in a purple square.

***DISPOSABLE TEENS w/ DEPECHE MODE INTRO***

While Arn Anderson settles out of the ring to the apron, the lights in the arena dim down, letting way for the first challenger to make his way down to the ring. Being accompanied to the ring, as always, by Allison Danger, Christopher Daniels steps out from the back, a black hood covering up his face, most of all, his emotions. The duo make their way down to the ring, really focused. While on the apron, Daniels gets rid of his hood, a very intense look on his face and a very subtle confident look in his eyes. Both Daniels & Danger enter the ring and they both lock eyes on the Championship Belt that Arn Anderson holds near him on the apron.

***TAKE IT BACK***

"On the firing line, mark, one, nine, load, ready on the right, ready on the left, ready on the firing line, watch for your targets", the samples from a 1950's war movie are very subtely heard by the ones with the best of ears as the crowd bursts into cheers for the Japanese Buzzsaw. Tajiri makes his way out from the back, a maniacal grin on his face, looking very intently in the ring at his opponent. Tajiri makes his way down to the ring and never takes his eyes away from Christopher Daniels.

EWE Television Championship Match
Singles Match

Christopher Daniels w/ Allison Danger Vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri

Joey Styles was quick to point out that Daniels & Tajiri wrestled in the very first match of the EWE's existence at "Retaliation" and that thus far, Tajiri was one up on Daniels. Jesse Ventura was quick to wag his finger at Styles, telling him that a japanese nobody (Curry Man) was the one who lost to Tajiri, not Daniels and that in his own book, Daniels & Tajiri were tied. Notwithstanding this misunderstanding, Tajiri & Daniels opened up this very important matchup tentatively, but, like at the PPV, they exchanged wrestling holds and counter holds for the first few minutes of the matchup, which led the fans to applaud both of these men's tremendous wrestling skills. With a 15 minute time limit attached to each and every Television Championship Match, after the opening minutes had gone by quickly, both men unloaded with everything they could find in their arsenal. And by the time the clock passed the ten minute mark, both men had tried everything and then some to no avail as far as beating their opponent. Daniels misses with a Clohtesline on Tajiri and Tajiri stops after the duck, catches Daniels with a beautiful Savate Kick to Daniels' jaw. Daniels is groggy on his feet and founds refugre, without falling down, on the top rope, hanging himself there, back turned to Tajiri. Tajiri comes up behind and spins up and down while holding Daniels' thighs into a Sunset Flip! But Daniels holds on to the top rope! Daniels loses his grip but catches the hands of Allison Danger! Referee Nacho Barrera is totally unaware of the situation but Arn Anderson bursts out of his seat and drags Danger away from Daniels. Daniels falls back and gets counted down... kicking out after a 2 and 7/8 count! Tajiri is sure he just won and Daniels is still trying to shake the cobwebs loose in his head. Daniels comes up from behind but gets kicked in the midsection by Tajiri. Daniels falters towards the ropes. TARANTULA! Danger is up on the apron screaming at both the referee and Arn Anderson. Nacho Barrera tries to get Tajiri off of Daniels but directs his attention towards Danger who's causing more trouble than anything else that's happening in the ring. Nacho goes over to Danger & Anderson and admonishes the both of them to stop interfering in this matchup. Anderson gets flustered and Danger slips away from their attention. She gets into the ring and walks directly towards Tajiri, trying to get him to break the Tarantula! GREEN MIST!!! Danger receives the Mist for the second time!! Tajiri finally releases the hold and grabs a hold of Danger's hair, encouraging the fans to encourage him to do something very, very bad to her! Daniels, holding his back, from behind, Enziguri on Tajiri! Tajiri stumbles on his knees and gets hooked back up by Daniels... ANGEL'S WINGS!!!!! Referee Nacho Barrera moves back into place and counts Tajiri's shoulders down for the three count!!!! @ (13:16)

Joey Styles - "By hook or crook, Christopher Daniels gets the duke and is crowned as we speak, very reluctantly by Arn Anderson, the very first EWE Television Champion... God!!"

Jesse Ventura - "What a great matchup Styles, the best man did win tonight, and that man is holding on to the belt he so rightfully deserves!! Ha ha!!"

While Styles & Ventura comment this happening, Anderson, has mentioned by Styles, reluctantly hands over to Christopher Daniels, who was kneeling down on the mat, being helped back to his feet by Allison Danger, the Television Championship. Anderson drapes it across Daniels' shoulder and immediately, Daniels snatches it away from Anderson, clutching at it like it was his new born baby! Then, filtering out from the back, the Old School Heroes! Corino, Shane, Brooks & the Backseat Boyz all come out to celebrate this tremendous achievement for their group as a whole. Corino and Allison embrace while Acid & Shane elevate Daniels high in the air over their shoulders! The crowd has seen just about enough of this and the image cuts to a promotional plug for the EWE.

Joey Styles - "Well, it is time to welcome our colleague, Chris Lovey, to the broadcast booth for this week's Ring of Honor Showcase match that will pit brother against brother after what happened to the Briscoes last week Chris, this is nothing new for the ROH Tag Team Champions!"

Chris Lovey - "Usually, we see the Briscoes having a one-on-one match when they either lose the belts or lose an important match out of "lack of competitiveness" on their own part. But last week we did not see them lose the belts and we did not see them lack that competitive edge. What we saw was the Age of the Fall growing in numbers and claiming the bodies and souls of the Briscoes and tonight is the night where Jay & Mark get that killer instinct back, as they march on towards their bloodiest, most violent feud in not only their history as a tag team, but in the Ring of Honor."

***GIMME BACK MY BULLETS***

The fans clap their hands and everything they can get their hands on, helping to welcome to the ring one of the, if not the best pure tag team in the sport of professional wrestling today, the Briscoes Brothers, as they, surprisingly enough, make their way to the ring together, walking towards the ring, walking around it, entering all as their usual entrance would dictate, but, once inside of the ring, drawing an invisible line, waiting for the referee's instructions and for the official bell to ring out.

ROH Showcase Match
Brother V. Brother

Mark Briscoe (c) Vs. Jay Briscoe (c)

This matchup was nothing short of explosive, with the Briscoes holding no punches and no slaps to say the least. Midway through the matchup, Joey Styles & Chris Lovey were joined in their perched broadcast booth by the Age of the Fall, represented by Jimmy Jacobs & Lacey only tonight. They issued a double shot open challenge to the Briscoes for the weekend of Super Brawl, challenging them to face both Sterling James Keenan & Joey Matthews (an official member of the Age of the Fall in ROH) in Singles Matches on Friday's card and then, the following night, to face them, this time, for the ROH Tag Team Title Belts! After Jacobs & Lacey left the action picked up quite immensely, both Jay & Mark hitting each other with every possible high impact maneuver and high impact counter possible. In the end, older brother Jay was victorious after a Jay Driller off the Top Rope, countering his brother Mark's attempt at a Springboard Ace Crusher @ (17:02)

After the bell rings, signaling the end of this show-stealing contest, both brothers shake hands and "man" hug each other as they are showered with a great ovation from the New York crowd. Jay raises his brother's hand and vice versa, while, coming out from the back, unbeknownst to pretty much everyone, microphone in hand, Mean Gene Okerlund walks into the ring to get the Briscoes comments and inform them of the Age of the Fall's laid out challenge.

Joey Styles - "What a tremendous match we've just been witness to, our colleague, Mean Gene is in the ring, and hopefully he'll be able to catch these out of breath brothers and get their comments on the Age of the Fall's short visit to our booth, Gene..."

Mean Gene - "I thank you very much Joey Styles, Jay, Mark, if I could just get your attention for a minute. First of all, congratulations on a tremendous matchup, I'm sure these fans would agree with me in saying that you two have just stolen the show..."

*CHEERS*

Mean Gene - "But as you two were doing so, high up there, Joey Styles & Chris Lovey were joined by your number 1 nemesis in the Ring of Honor, I'm talking of course about, the Age of the Fall, Jimmy Jacobs and well, Lacey, they came out here tonight with a challenge for the both of you, for the huge Super Brawl weekend, as they have challenged you two face two of the Age of the Fall's newest members, as of last week Sterling James Keenan and, Joey Matthews to a pair of Singles matches on the Friday Night card and then, the following night, a Tag Team Titles defense against these two on the 4-Hour Saturday night PPV Broadcast of Super Brawl."

Jay looks at his brother and brings Mean Gene's microphone closer to his mouth.

Jay Briscoe - "So... Jimmy wants to send... Keenan & Matthews... to try and take us out.... and take our belts the next night?"

Mean Gene nods while Mark moves in to speak.

Mark Briscoe - "Man up boys!"

Lynyrd Skynyrd's guitar riff blasts through the Hammerstein Ballroom has both Briscoes raise their arms and belts in the air, the crowd going wild for the take no prisoners duo from Delaware.

Mean Gene - "There you have it! I'm sure this will have to be presented to the EWE Officials, but, both parties have now officialy agreed to the matches, and it's just a formality before these two right here part-take in the huge weekend of Super Brawl!"

***5 MINUTES ALONE***

A mixed reaction filters the arena as the No Remorse Corps walk out from the back. Roderick Strong in the front, leading the way, Rocky Romero & Davey Richards following not far behind. All three men walk their way inside of the ring, always with a confident, ready-to-break-someone's-back look on their faces, maybe apart from Romero who's always a bit more on the more relaxed side of things before matches. Strong grabs the microphone from Bob Artese and adresses the Hammerstein Ballroom crowd.

Roderick Strong - "Alright, so we're here, and we haven't heard of just who has stepped up, so, it's time for whoever wants to do so to come out here right now so we can just finish you off and be done with it!"

Strong hands the microphone back to Artese as a hush silence filters through the crowd before...

***COPA CABANA***

*CHEERS*

The arena's lights start to flash back and forth, a big white spotlight illuminating the entrance way! A man steps out from back, doing the.... MOONWALK!!! A vivacious looking Tammy Sytch walks out from the back and steps in front of none other than Colt Cabana, as they do a small dance routine before letting way for the remaining members of the Second City Saints, ECW Champion CM Punk and Ace Steel to make their confused self down to the ring. Notwithstanding Cabana & Sunny's goofind antics, the No Remorse Corps & Second City Saints finally cut the ring in half, getting ready for what promises to be a 6-Men Tag Team Dream Match that will see its fair share of intensity.

6-Men Tag Team Challenge Match
No Remorse Corps (Strong, Romero & Richards) Vs. The Second City Saints (Punk, Cabana & Steel) w/ Tammy Lynn Sytch

This matchup had its share of comedy thanks to "Classic" Colt Cabana in the opening minutes of the bout but, soon enough, once Steel & Punk were able to get in, the match really got underway and underway in a very determining and intense way. Nobody was per say dominated in this matchup as all six men were able to dish out and take as much punishment as their follow man. But, past the 10 minute mark, the SCS were clearly getting under the NRC's skin and almost securing the win when Ace Steel was able to hit the Spinal Shock on Davey Richards. The pinfall attempt led to referee Jack Terry losing complete control of this contest as all six men occupied the ring for the remainder of this match. Stiff forearm shots and knife edge chops were exchanged back and forth and this match was taking a detour that was not necessarily leading to a controllable end for the referee. Richards Irish Whipped Punk into the corner and rushed in at full speed with a Forearm Smash. Then, hitting the ropes with full force, lunging at a groggy Punk, Richards unloaded with a vicious looking Lariat!! Punk took the full brunt of that blow, falling hard on the back of his neck, rolling over on himself and rolling over the outside. Richards from behind was met by a Cabana Bionic Elbow that rocked the next coming of the Dynamite Kid. Cabana then hooked in the Colt .45 and hit Richards with it. Cabana couldn't celebrate long as he was immediately kicked in the head the minute he tried to get back up to his feet by the very dangerous Rocky "Azucar!" Romero. And, same could be said for Romero, as he pranced over Cabana, Romero was hooked by Ace Steel with a Half Nelson Overhead Suplex! dropping Romero on his head! Ace Steel had just summoned some very muchly needed energy as he was pumping himself up on his feet, living up to his "Crazy" monicker. Only to get his chest caved in by one of Roderick Strong's vicious chop. Out of breath, Steel was quickly hooked in by Strong for one his deadly Backbreakers! Strong hooking onto Steel and dropping him back first against his knee with a Blue Thunder Bomb Backbreaker Variation. Strong quickly made the cover but was stopped by both Cabana & Punk who miracously stopped the NRC from getting the win via this pinfall. A chorus of boos was suddenly heard as, coming through the entrance way, the Backseat Boyz, Michael Shane & Traci Brooks all came rushing down to the ringside area. Traci used her good looks to get the referee's attention away from the action and while everything was legal Shane & the BB's helped the NRC get one over on the EWE locker room and the Second City Saints! The Backseats introduced chairs into the match and let the NRC execute the SCS's send off. Shane and the BB's took care of Cabana, Shane delivering some Sweet Shane Music on Colt while he was being held captive by Acid & Kashmere. Romero & Richards dropping Punk on his head with a Spiked Butterfly Brainbuster Powerbomb on a Steel Chair!! Acid then grabbed the other chair and opened it up. Kashmere Irish Whipped Steel in the ropes and Acid caught the running Steel with the Blue Thunder Bomb, dropping him against the steel chair, almost breaking his back in the process. The Old School Heroes left the ring and their chairs while Roderick Strong applied the Stronghold (aka Boston Crab while applying knee onto one's back) on Steel for the quick submission once referee Jack Terry turned back around to survey the carnage that had been laid out in front of him @ (16:22)

After the bout, the No Remorse Corps valiantly waived their hands in the air, proclaiming that they had taken out some of the EWE's best boys. A camera followed the OSH up to the entrance way and Acid screamed out to the ring: "YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST OF US!!".

Image cuts back to the ring where the NRC are making their exit and where some added help are getting each and every member of the SCS back to their senses, Tammy Sytch looking on quite distressed, as she was unable, herself, to stop the onslaught of the Old School Heroes added to the very dangerous trio of Strong, Romero & Richards in the ring tonight.

Joey Styles - "I don't know if you will agree with me or not Jesse, but it was just a matter of hitting the right maneuver for the Second City Saints, and this match was theirs!"

Jesse Ventura - "I wouldn't call myself a Second City Saints fan, not one bit, but you know I much I dislike our association with these ROH guys and I can't believe that the Old School Heroes would take their rivalry with the SCS as far as costing one of their own in a battle such as this!"

Joey Styles - "You're maybe the only way to feel this way about the EWE's association with Ring of Honor, but, notwithstanding that, the No Remorse Corps really showed a lot of people what they were made of, but walk out of the Hammerstein Ballroom here tonight with a tainted victory of the Second City Saints. Earlier today, our cameras caught up with AJ Styles, and to say he was in a good mood is furthest the truth as you can get..."

Image cuts to the pre-recorded footage with the mention of "Earlier Today" at the bottom of the screen.

The cameras follows AJ, backtracking in front of him, as he makes his way inside of the hallways of the Hammerstein Ballroom, carrying his bags and entering one of many suites/locker rooms. AJ walks past a few wrestlers until he sets himself next to Jerry Lynn, who's wearing a normal pair of jeans with a black t-shirt and glasses, apparently not going to part-take in any action here tonight. No words are spoken between the two long time friends who share a mentor/student kind of relationship. Out of the echoes of the other wrestlers, someone is heard calling out AJ.

??? - "Hey AJ!! AJ!!"

His voice resonates with a cocky western air to it. The camera turns around and spots Kid Kash, huge grin on his face. AJ looks up, but doesn't seemed phased by Kash's taunts.

Kid Kash - "AJ, why the long and sad look on your face?! Man, you've been really dropping the ball lately... the high and mighty Phenomenal One, AJ Styles, week after week, losing in so called "controversial" fashion, when will that stop AJ?! I mean, you'd think you'd get a win by then!"

Lynn looks at AJ's who's remaining quite the calm man, yet, stands up and faces Kash nose to nose, a serious straight away look in his eyes, speaking very deeply and slowly...

AJ Styles - "Maybe you'd like me to make you that elusive win? And believe me, there won't be no controversy when I beat you like I've always been doing before!"

Lynn and the other wrestlers in the room at the moment (Sonjay Dutt and two unfamiliar faces (Danny Drake & Mike Tobin, the Boogie Knights)) get in between Kash & Styles, trying to stop any escalating violence that was setting itself up. Kash's serious look turns back to a cocky one.

Kid Kash - "Well, how about you show me just how bad you want it AJ, this Saturday night? How's that?!"

AJ Styles - "You're on!"

Kash backs off laughing while Lynn restrains AJ.

***COME OUT AND PLAY (KEEP 'EM SEPERATED)***

Appearing in the rafters of the Hammerstein Ballroom, Raven crosses out his arms to extend his leadership to his "flock" of fans. Raven walks quickly past all the fans, making it to the floor below him and to the ringside area. Raven jumps up on the apron and from the outside second turnbuckle extends his arms once more in posing for the fans. Raven gets in the ring and quickly walks over to Bob Artese, who's standing outside of the ring, handing Raven a microphone. Before talking, Raven's tap the microphone and his music quickly stops thereafter.

Raven - "Vampiro... I did not come out here tonight to play games. As wasted as I feel right now, games are the farthest thing in my head. And if you wonder just why I will not lay my hands on you... well, the answer is simple... I don't feel like it. You might want to make your name out of beating someone like myself, but, you and I both know that you've had that chance handed out to you many times before and instead of fighthing me, you aligned yourself with me because you knew deep down that us being so alike, fighthing one another will only lead us to our dual demise. So Vampiro, you can stop playing games, and you can stop whatever it is you want to get at, because I'm just not interested in it..."

Raven drops his microphone down, rubbing his hand over his nose, looking over the confused crowd. The newly acquired digital screen (Thank you Ivanka!) perched above the entrance curtains suddenly lits up with footage from outside a floridian home, footage being filmed from an amateur camera, inside of a car, some Misfits music playing not too loud as the car seems to be arriving at its destination. The cameraman turns the lens around and films himself, revealing himself as Vampiro, without his usual face paint on.

Vampiro - "Scotty, I've paid a lot of money so that, someway, somehow, they could show you this videotape. I don't know if you're alone in the back, or in the middle of the ring, you out of all people, with a puzzled look on your face, still, I'm about to go and enter your parents' house, and ask for their undebftul help, help they should have no problem handing out to the likes of one of your friends, could they?! Ha ha ha ha!"

The camera turns back to the white house that spans quite a few achers in terms of property, overlooking the one of many floridian coasts. The tape suddenly fast forwards quickly, distortion being heard throughout that fast forwarding motion, (i.e to movie buffs, think, "A Scanner Darkly"). In a few seconds, we see Vampiro walking towards the house, ringing the bell, getting answered by Scotty's mother and then meeting up with his father, sitting down at the dinner table, the camera being sat down on the table, not focusing on one particular individual and then, on the open space between what was Vampiro & Scotty's mother, Scotty's father takes a seat and writes down something, then handing a piece of paper to Vampiro who gratefully shakes Scotty's father's hand. The video then stops its fast fowarding motion and stops, just in time to hear Scotty's mother speak.

Scotty's Mother - "Well, why don't you stay for the night, get some strenght back before driving back up to New York?"

Vampiro - "Ohh, that's very nice of you, I'll gladly accept, 'cause I do feel quite tired from this long drive down here."

Using this false accent, Vampiro picks up his camera before the footage once again goes into fast forward mode, showing us quickly Vampiro walking towards his room, which appears to be, formerly, but, apparently so, Scotty (Raven)'s former room, since a giant WCW Promo Raven poster is hanging on the wall above the bed. We then see Vampiro closing the door behind him and setting the camera on the bed, so it looks directly into a giant set of mirrors. The distorting sound of the fast forwarding motion stops, as Vampiro is seen scathering around Scotty's room, mumbling to himself. Vampiro then opens a closet and out of that closet stumbles a box full of pictures and old magazines. Mostly wrestling magazines and autographed black and white pictures of wrestlers of times past. Vampiro throws the box on the bed and fills it out, scathering everything out of place. Vampiro then turns his look towards the mirror with a huge grin on his face.

Vampiro - "Well... I think we've just found what we were looking for all along."

Vampiro takes out from under the very pile of everything a color 8 x 10 of... of... (as the Vampiro walks closer to the mirror, putting the picture up so everyone can see it clearly) Rowdy Roddy Piper. Reading from what has been written on that photo.

Vampiro - "..."You'll go far in this business kid... signed... the Hot Scott... Roddy Piper...". How touching Scotty... I'm sure you held this man very high up on your scale of heroes... idols.... well Scotty. I don't have anything else to do here, so, I guess I'll just exit through the back door and make my way back home... But really, Raven... where have your love and passion for this man gone... have you throwed that away once you realized that on your very own you could become far more than that old fart ever did... I'm sure you think that bleeding buckets of blood in the ECW Arena was far more rewarding to your ego than you losing half of your hearing... Or that beating up on poor Stevie was more rewarding than surviving riots in Puerto Rico... No matter what you say... and no matter how many of those kilts you wear to the ring in honor of this man... deep down inside of your tormented soul, you know, and I know, that once you stepped into that ring and suffered twice as much as your own idol... his accomplishments just vanished out of your mind, and in came your own accomplisments... building your own legacy you just threw this man away and spit in the very face of the man that made you lace up those boots as a scruffy little rich kid that had nothing better to do than throw his parents' money away on drugs while on the road, travelling up and down highways that never seem to end... No beer is worth trashing your idols Raven... maybe that's what you need to get it through your thick skull that what I'm really looking for is no fight... I told you Raven! I'm looking to end you... something you can't say about your own idol... You never had the gull to stand up face to face to that man and tell him he made you sick to your stomach... But I did just that and worse... still, you stood there like and took every punch I handed out without retaliating... well Raven... maybe you'll retaliate after this!"

Image then blurs out, the cameras turning back to the ring. BLACKOUT!!! The Hammerstein Ballroom is plunged in darkness.... The lights come back on! VAMPIRO IS IN THE RING!! Raven turns around!!! FIREBALL!! IN RAVEN'S FACE!!! Raven falls to the mat immediately, rolling over to the outside out of instincts, clutching on to his eye. Trainers, officials & EMTs rush out from the back to attend to Raven as Vampiro stands in the middle of the ring, blood spurting out of his mouth, a huge laughter echoeing from the demented Vampiro. Vampiro then kneels in the middle of the ring, looking at the scene before him. We soon take a closer look at Vampiro and realize he's dressed not as his usual self, sporting a black t-shirt yes, but, wearing some sort of black leather heavy kilt with his ring gear underneath it. Vampiro takes out from his trunks two things. A folded up picture and a folded up small piece of paper. The camera closes in on the objects as he unfolds them near the ring apron, branding them over the sea of people attending to Raven. Outside of the ring, the camera catches just what the two objects are. One is the 8 x 10 of Piper, the other, a cheque with Raven's parents name on it, worth $ 15,000.oo! Vampiro walks back in the middle of the ring with these two valuable items and takes out from under one of his long leather wristbands a lighter. Vampiro screams out at Raven and slowly burns both pieces and lays them to burn in the middle of the ring. Vampiro in a sick display of dementia lays himself down on the mat, watching as the picture and the cheque quickly burn up. His laughter echoeing through the silenced New York crowd. Vampiro then rolls out of the ring and exits through the crowd.

Image cuts back to the perched announce position with both Joey Styles & Jesse Ventura a bewildered look on their faces.

Joey Styles - "Fans... I... I don't know where to begin... what we have just seen far surpasses what any of us here in the EWE calls pro wrestling nowadays but, this show is not over yet, and, as of right now, only thing we can tell you about Raven's state is that it's been stabilized and that he has been taken to the nearest medical facility here in Manhattan... We've been told that Raven should not fear lost of sight, but that damage could have been done around Raven's eye that was.... huh... brutally attacked by one Vampiro.... but now, it's time for our Main Event... a Last Man Standing Match, not something our stomachs coud stomach after what we've just seen..."

Jesse Ventura - "I've been in this business for far too long now, still, I can't remember something this violent... and as luck would have it, we are bound to be witness to yet another violent match where they're are no rules..."
