Re: EWE (Extreme Wrestling Entertainment) by LegendofBaseball
REVIEW
By SC2004
- The opening promo was great. CM Punk was so in character. I loved this line from Punk “No matter how many people you recruit, know this, the Second City Saints will show you that there is no strength in numbers, just strength in unity!"
- Sunny coming out was so cool. I liked her reference to Dawn Marie and Francine, plenty of room there for a feud. “the Sunny you see in front of you is not after gold anymore, it is after respect” would that not be “she is after respect?” its doesn’t matter, I like Sunny’s reasoning and it makes sense for her to align herself with CM Punk and company if she is in fact genuine.
- Liked how the commentators emphasised how in the past, Sunny had a reputation for dumping the men she managed. It makes me doubt her and question whether or not she has an alternative motive.
- Really solid match up, with Daniels going over. Now he’ll have to take on Tajiri next week to crown a EWE television champion. I hope this is not going to be just another unimportant title belt and it manages to have some credibility.
- THE FBI thing was hilarious and amazingly well written. I have to admit I was shocked to see you doing something like this, it was totally different than anything I’ve read previously and I really liked it. It was entertaining and that works.
- Glad you kept the women’s match short, I’m sure if it were actually happening the crowd and the TV audience would have been relieved. Lol.
- The Steve Corino promo before his match was nice and it continues the storyline and furthers the feud with CM Punk.
- having Christopher Daniels cost Jericho the match makes sense as it keeps both Jericho and Corino looking strong, although I think Jericho came off a lot better in this match.
- The attack by Vampiro on Raven was pure gold. Man what a beating raven took. The impromptu match was a surprise as I though you’d just leave it at the attack, but it was a cool idea, one I liked a lot. I just loved this whole set up TBH.
- I didn’t really know anyone involved in the 6 man tag team match TBH. The match seemed fine, that’s all I can really say about it.
- The Burke, Kennedy and Hassan promo was what it was, a filler promo, although to be fair it had some purpose, as it should both Hassan and Burke were certain of a victory tonight.
- I applaud you for writing out the main event in such detail. I’ll be honest in saying that full matches to me are great, but a short recap, or finish are just as enjoyable. This was amazing though and again, congrats for doing it. Hassan winning it was a surprise, but the exciting finish was pure gold, had no idea who was going to get the win in the end.
Overall, a great show. I liked that you took risks tonight. The Vampiro, Raven angle and the FBI segment to me were the best parts of the show. I would say that as I like promo’s and storyline stuff over the actual wrestling, lol. Most other people will probably say the main event was the highlight of the night, it was very good, as was this show. Entertainment wise, IMO, this show was far superior to those with proceeded it.

Re: EWE (Extreme Wrestling Entertainment) by LegendofBaseball
I liked how Punk was a little hesitant about Sunny joining the SCS. He put across very good reasons for his apprehensiveness.
The TV title 3-way qualifier was a blast. I liked the ending. I assume Daniels hit the BME while Williams held a bridge on Scorpio.
After the upset win, I wonder what role you’ll have Young play.
The FBI segment was pretty funny. Rinauro should be a great fit for the FBI.
Even with the Daniels hint with his small confrontation with Corino, I was still expecting Michael Shane to interfere instead of Daniels. The Old School Heroes keep on getting bigger and bigger. They should be a dominant stable with the possibility of both the TV title and ECW title being under their control.
Raven not hitting Vampiro with the chair is very intriguing. My interest level in this feud has grown a lot after that excellent segment.
Wow, awesome, awesome swerve by having Rain join the AotF. I liked how the Briscoes still continued to fight on even after they got blindsided by Rain. Keenan whacking them with a cane to join the movement added to the effect that the AotF are going to be a formidable faction. The match seemed kind of short with all that happened. I was a little iffy about Black, Jacobs, and Mark all bleeding in such a short time. I wonder if the Briscoes are going to align with anybody to compensate for the AotF’s growing numbers.
The Styles promo started off great but fell apart towards the end. It would’ve been better if it was short and concise.
I know the match wouldn’t end in a DQ but the ref seemed a little too lenient when the steel chair came into play. If Samoa Joe had gotten involved when Daivari was sliding the chair into the ring it would’ve given a good enough reason for the ref to be distracted when the actual chair was being used. Having Hassan win was an interesting choice, though.
I wonder where you’ll be going with Styles now.
Again, another fun show. There’s a lot to look forward to with several questions as to what will be occurring next.

Re: EWE (Extreme Wrestling Entertainment) by LegendofBaseball
To Sc2004: Thanks for the review mate. I'm glad you liked the show as a whole, here's a couple of links for you to further your understanding of "who's who", especially for the 6-Men Match.
Briscoes ROH Roster Video
Rain SHIMMER Video
Age of the Fall (Left to right: Tyler Black, Lacey & Rain) in the opening seconds
Hope that helps you mate. Glad you liked the Vampiro/Raven & FBI thing, I put a lot of thought into those things and I'm glad they come out alright.
To crooked reflection: To answer one of your questions, yes, the BME was hit while Williams was pinning Scorpio, I read back through that line and realized it could somewhat lead to confusion. As for the rest, thanks again for such a good review mate.
EDIT = The reason Samoa Joe didn't interfere is because of the positioning of the broadcast booth, which is perched atop a balcony. It wouldn't have been exciting enough in my eyes for him to drag himself down from there and through a see of fans, would of taken too much time.

"Interview with Christopher Daniels & Allison Danger"
Hi folks, just hours after having watched Tuesday Night Showdown from the comfort of my hotel room, I received an e-mail from one of our backstage workers, Peter Asselin, and he forwarded me a link that I will now post in my blog. Just minutes after Daniels aligned himself with the Old Schoo Heroes, EWE Cameras caught up with Daniels & Allison Danger has they aired out a few of their thoughts on their current state in the EWE. Here's the link folks.
(((LINK)))
*Scene opens up with Daniels & Danger, dressed in casual clothes, standing before a black wall, the Fallen Angel's theme music, "Disposable Teens", playing in loop, not very loudly at all, in the background.*
Daniels - "EWE, this is the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels, and, standing next to me, she needs no introduction, but she is the most lethal women in all of wrestling, none other than Allison Danger. What you have witnessed or failed to, was the Fallen Angel officialy joining the Old School Heroes here in the EWE. See, the Fallen Angel is very much so familiar with being a part of stables, cliques, factions. But never has the Fallen Angel been just "a part" of any group. I have many groups to greatness, but this time around, when my good friend Steve Corino approached me with the prospect of me joining him in his attempt to takeover the EWE, the decision was not hard for myself and Allison. We knew right away that there was no other way for us to be recognized as world class athlete than to align ourselves with other, world class athletes. Added to the fact that sharing the same enemies made that decision much more clear and wiser on everyone's part. So here we are, alongside us some of the finest wrestlers in this country. And soon enough, titles shall come our way. Tajiri, if you can muster up the intellectual wits it takes to understand the words that are coming out of my mouth, know that next week, when we face each other to crown the very 1st EWE Television Champion, no time limit will be able to save you. And that's the Gospel, courtesy of the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels."
*Daniels lifts his right hand up, and throws out the "Fallen Angel" sign up against his chest, whilst Allison does the same thing.*
(((LINK OUT)))
Remember to catch Tully Blanchard's blog tomorrow on our website, this has been yours truly, James Salazar, signing off once more.

"News, Notes & Whatever's Left" by Tully Blanchard
Hello again wrestling fans. Another great night of wrestling action just passed us by as Tuesday Night Showdown aired for its second week, with, THE, big news coming out of that show being Muhammad Hassan has now qualified for the last remaining spot in the 8 Men League Challenge at Super Brawl I.
Many people have sent me e-mails concerning Super Brawl I and I feel like this blog entry should be about just that, the concept behind Super Brawl I.
I, myself, have never participated at this very famed event in the 1990's. But great classic matches have been vaulted through the annals of time stemming from this very event and, as the officials at the EWE pointed out to me, the Super Brawl name should and could not be erased, no matter what. And that, they felt, it was time that it was brought back.
This Super Brawl will have a very special concept attached to it. As the EWE and its Officials are trying to build this very promising company from the ground up, what was supposed to be a single night of wrestling action will now be a double header starting the night before on Friday February 22nd.
Most of the matches in the 8 Men League Challenge will be taking place on that first night of action and, the following night, for those not able to join in on the action live, will get a detailed recap of the happenings of the night before.
The "W" in the "EWE" will be very well represented during this double header weekend of action culminating in finding the 4 true contenders for the eventual crowning of the very first EWE Champion.
These men will have to endure what very few men would ever try and put their bodies through. Wrestling maybe a grand total of 7 matches in two nights, something that is unheard of in today's world of "sports entertainment".
But that is what we are, first and foremost, a wrestling company. We stand by our initials come the 23rd, we will show you just how Extreme and Entertaining Wrestling can be! And not the other way around!
In closing, I'd just like to speak out and grab the naysayers' attention out there. What you will see during those two nights of wrestling action is what, at the very base of this great sport, men that have come before the ones that are the forefront of this company went through some 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 to 40 years ago. They went through excruciating pain in order to be called the best. The best at what they do, and that is wrestle! Not parade around and not play off an image!
You can make all the money you want in this business, but many people turned a lot of money to come here. Why? Because what they loved as a kid, what they dreamt of doing for years on end, being a professional wrestler is not attainable in some other circles. This sport is not about being so good that Hollywood comes calling. It is about being so good that, 50 years from now people will still be talking about you.
The 8 Men and the remainder of the wrestlers that will wrestler at Super Brawl I are some of the best wrestlers here in the United States. And believe you me when I say that whomever the 4 men that walk out of Baltimore as the four contenders to the EWE Championship will not only have been deserving, but they will have wrestled their hearts, minds, bodies and souls for their love of this great sport.
This business is a wheel that keeps on turning. The wheel is now filled with an air of nostalgia, yet, a young crop of talented young wrestlers are making their own personal statements and mark on this business. And the word wrestling is being brought back to the forefront of what this once revered sport used to be. And I'm damn proud to be apart of this new, fresh and rejuvenating wave of the sport of professional wrestling.
So long and until next time, God Bless.

Saturday Night Wrestling Preview by Paul Lewis
The cameras were rolling after Tuesday Night Showdown and what an edition of Saturday Night Wrestling it's bound to be tomorrow night on YES at 7 pm Eastern time.
In the SHIMMER Showcase matchup of the night, SHIMMER Champion Sara Del Rey will defend her coveted Championship against a very deserving challenger in the "Portuguese Princess" Ariel. The head of Sweet & Sour Inc., Sweet & Sour himself, Larry Sweeney, has a very important message he needs to air out to both the Ring of Honor & Extreme Wrestling Entertainment locker rooms, and you will be able to hear all that Sweeney as to say tomorrow night on YES.
Also this week, the ROH Showcase Matchup. Coming from the young crop of talented Ring of Honor trainees, the now sophomore Pelle Primeau will make his first appearance on EWE Television as he takes on another high-flyer in Ruckus from the Vulture Squad in what is bound to be a quick and intense affair.
To top of this week's broadcast, to add to the already announced Tag Team Main Event, another blockbuster sized Tag Team Main Event has been signed.
It will be, representing the Elite, Mr. Kennedy & Sonny Siaki, to take on the reunited duo of Sabu & Rob Van Dam, lead to the ring by the Manager of Champions, Mr. Bill Alfonso.
Not to mention the Main Event that will pit another reuniting team in the Impact Players (Justin Credible & Lance Storm) as they take on Tommy Dreamer & the ECW Champion, CM Punk. All stemming from last week's more than chaotic Main Event that pitted Credible against Punk in a Non-Title affair.
Plus, you'll get to hear from the Briscoes & the No Remorse Corps, all this in the hottest hour of Pro Wrestling, tomorrow on YES! Saturday Night Wrestling at 7 PM Eastern Time.

Re: EWE (Extreme Wrestling Entertainment) by LegendofBaseball
EWE SATURDAY NIGHT WRESTLING
On YES
Saturday, February 9th, 2008
New York City, NY (Hammerstein Ballroom)
// Taped on 02/05/08 //
// EWE_Pro_Wrestling.Com Feed without Commercials //
***OPEN FEED***
The opening video for Saturday Night Wrestling opens up the broadcast, set to Linkin Park's "Faint", which plays out for around 30 seconds, mixing all sorts of high spots to the high energy of the LP song. The EWE & "SNW" logos appear on a faded background of the Hammerstein Ballroom. The image shatters and we are taken inside of the Hammerstein Ballroom, the camera panning around the see of fans. This image quickly lets way to the secluded area, somewhere backstage, where the new host of Saturday Night Wrestling, Chris Lovey, sits alone, without his co-host, welcoming the viewers at home.
Chris Lovey - "Chris Lovey here, this is Saturday Night Wrestling, here on YES, and, I'm being told by our producer that in just a couple of seconds, I'm going to be joined by the new co-host of Saturday Night Wrestling and..."
The camera that was screening the desk and Lovey and nothing more now switches to the left, where, coming in the room, walking out from a curtain, Lovey having realized that, stopping in mid-phrase... "The Independent God of Professional Wrestling" Steve Corino!! Steve has a huge grin on his face, dressed with a white dress shirt, sunglasses, and black plaid pants. Steve walks past Lovey, who doesn't bother getting up, their past history maybe the reason for that. Steve sits besides Chris Lovey and puts on his headset.
Chris Lovey - "...Well... I guess that the new co-host for Saturday Night Wrestling will be Steve Corino..."
Steve Corino - "That's right Lovey, and they're paying me the big bucks up in Trump Tower to have me sitting next to you, so don't make this any harder than it already is for me to having to work with you for the next hour!"
Chris Lovey - "I was thinking, maybe they would have me doing these shows with CM Punk, even as much as me and Punk don't get along, I cannot say I'm pleased with working with you Steve Corino."
Steve Corino - "Don't get me started on CM Punk Lovey!!"
Chris Lovey - "Well you won't have time to do that right now, Larry Sweeney and Sweet & Sour Inc. have an important message for Ring of Honor and the EWE, roll it!"
Corino seethes next to Lovey, while Lovey just signals for the video to play out.
Screen switches to a scene taped somewhere in some makeshift locker room. Sara, carrying both her SHIMMER Championship and one half of the ROH Intergender Tag Team Championship, walks into view, followed by Chris Hero, carrying his piece of gold along with him as well, and finally, completing the puzzle that Sara had started, Larry Sweeney steps into view, again on his cellphone, finishing up a conversation.
Larry Sweeney - "I don't just pay you! to look pretty!! Now will you be able to produce him next week!!?!"
Hero & Del Rey look at each other, not really paying much attention to the blabbering Sweeney, looking at their belts, giggling and laughing it up.
Larry Sweeney - "Alright, he better be there!!!"
Sweeney closes up his phone and takes off his shades, looking over at the camera.
Larry Sweeney - "Ohhh yes, Sweet & Sour Inc. has finally hit the airwaves, right here on Saturday Night Wrestling!! You might be thinking to yourselves, I see the best damn wrestler alive today Chris Hero, and, the best damn female wrestler ever, Sara Del Rey, but, where's the rest of the entourage!?! There ain't no more entourage!! Sweet & Sour Inc. has just finished up a clean sweep of its offices, and its only keeping its shining golden stars. That's right, no more fat man in space suits, no more buffed dwarfs, and no more loose change! It's all about hitting the big time and merging over to the EWE! You see, in the next couple of weeks, right here on Saturday Night Wrestling, Sweet & Sour Inc. will be introducing new members to its ranks. People that are worth the money I hand out! And it all starts next week, go ahead, tell 'em all about Chris."
Chris Hero - "Claudio, oh my dear Claudio. It would seem as though you don't know when to quit. Is it not enough that for more than a year I carried you as my tag partner? Is it not enough that we have been embarassing you, shot after show. I thought you had finally understood that tucking your tail between your legs was the best way to go. But it seems that your self-inflated ego hasn't had enough beatings handed out to it, so we'll just have to prolong the agony for you Claudio. You see, I'm issueing a challenge Larry. I'm issueing a challenge to you Claudio. Next week, on this very program, find yourself a partner. Simple right? And I'll have one my own. Maybe if we beat you on National Television, you will finally understand that without us you're nothing more than another foreign wrestler trying to make its name on the backs of people with real talent here in the United States."
Larry Sweeney - "Ohhh oh oh, did you hear that Claudio?!! And have I found the perfect partner for you Chris but... we can't just let the cat out of the bag right now, that wouldn't be good tv now would it?"
Larry & Chris have a good laugh about it and Sara steps in to speak.
Sara Del Rey - "Now I have to defend my SHIMMER Championship here tonight against Ariel, the so-called "Portuguese Princess"... Princess or not dear, this fist will hit you harder than a Death Rey ever could, and I'm walking out of New York with these two belt tightly wrapped around my waist."
Larry Sweeney - "Next week Claudio!! Next week!! Don't forget it!! Sweet & Sour has never spoken its last word, and if its a war you want to keep on fighthing, you know where to find us!!"
The image fades and were taking back inside of the Hammerstein Ballroom for the first matchup of the night.
***THIS SUFFERING***
Sara's entrance theme song blares through the speakers and, accompanied to the ring by Sweeney & Hero, the SHIMMER Champion walks very confidently to the ring, holding both of her ROH Intergender (her half) Championship Belt, and the belt she is about to defend, the SHIMMER Championship Belt. Sweeney & Hero enter the ring, trying to intimidate Ariel, who was already in the ring, but referee John Finnegan steps in between the two parties to stop any pre-match altercations from escalating. Ariel doesn't look too confident, probably more concerned about Hero & Sweeney's presence than anything else.
SHIMMER Showcase
SHIMMER Title Match
Ariel Vs. Sara Del Rey (c) w/ Larry Sweeney & Chris Hero (c)
Chris Lovey was very sharp in going over both women's backgrounds and past matches in the SHIMMER promotion, Corino rolling along just fine with his former broadcast parnter. Ariel had some outbursts of energy that lead her to hit Sara with some nice offensive maneuvers, mainly "lucha libre" type stuff, but, in the end, and, Sara's amazing built and power was too much for the Portuguese Princess Ariel as she fell before Sara Del Rey, when Sara locked in a Double Wristlock Chin Lock and then fell back, sending her knees against Ariel's spine for the morbid contortion and pretty much, immediate submission @ (4:19) (*If anyone can tell me the exact name of the maneuver shown in this clip at the 0:28 mark it would be very much appreciated*)
After the bout, Sweeney screamed and yelled some more at Claudio, who obviously wasn't there, through one of the cameras at ringside on the apron, reminiscent, to many, of the old WCW Monday Nitro days.

***I'M IN THE HOOD***
The Ring of Honor Showcase match this week will really be all about high flying action with Vulture Squad member Ruckus making his way to the ring, accompanied by Julius Smokes, getting ready to take on young ROH upstart, Pelle Primeau. Both men shook hand in the tradition of the Ring of Honor's Code of Honor before starting the matchup.
ROH Showcase
Singles Match
Pelle Primeau Vs. Ruckus w/ Julius Smokes
Before the action in this one picked up, Chris Lovey informed the people watching at home that there was a lot of shaking up happening in the foundations of the Vulture Squad and that some new members were set to join the ranks of this group in the coming weeks. Both men went full throttle for this very short, yet, intense matchup. Pelle Primeau had not too many chances to do anything really significant to Ruckus but, still held his part of the bargain quite honorably. Ruckus picked up his first win on EWE soil with the "Hate Crime" (aka Falcon's Arrow) @ (3:15)

Back at ringside for part I of this Double Tag Team Main Event Night of Saturday Night Wrestling.
***HEART OF THE CITY w/ FLASHING LIGHTS INTRO***
Leading the way, Mr. Kennedy walked out from the black curtains first, followed by his tag team partner Sonny Siaki and their cornerman for this matchup, rounding up this trio, Elijah Burke, the Silver Tongued Pugilist. The group as a whole was a bit dejected after what had happened on "TNS" with Burke losing his chance to be a part of the 8 Men League Challenge at Super Brawl I. The Elite still garnered lots of heat while making its way to the ring, before waiting for their opponents to make their way out from the back.
***WALK***
*CROWD ERUPTS*
*RE! SPECT! WHAT DO YOU SAY!*
The whistle is heard from miles away, as Rob Van Dam steps out from the back first, not to be outdone, Sabu burst out in front of him, pointing to the skies above. Alfonso shortly afters walks out from the back, carrying a towel and a bottle of water with him. Sabu sprints down to ringside, while RVD takes his sweet time clapping as much hands as he can. Alfonso grabs one of the cameramans attention and shows him his new line of products in bottled water, the "autenthic" "Mr. PPV... Be Cool" fresh spring water, what this man won't do to get his clients over! There was a lot of stalling from RVD, but, to the crowd's delight before everyone could finally enter the ring, infuriating, more than anything, the producer in the truck.
Tag Team Match
The Elite (Kennedy & Siaki) w/ Elijah Burke Vs. Sabu & Rob Van Dam w/ Bill Alfonso
The stalling continued once the bell rung, the New York crowd hot for RVD, as he almost rounded all four corners of the ring, proclaiming himself "the Whole F'N Show" to his legion of fans. The match eventually got underway and it was chaotic high-octane wrestling action from start to finish. No matter how much heat there's seems to be between RVD & Sabu, once the bell rings, there's not a more cohesive unit than these two. The match was see saw all the way to the very end, which built up everyone enthusiasm for it even more when the final bell rang. Burke got himself involved in the match numerous times but wasn't able to help his team secure the win. The Elite was put down after a nice little touch of theatrics. Rob Van Dam had just hit Kennedy with the Van Daminator with help from Alfonso. Siaki then hit Van Dam with the Siakilypse (aka Rolling Neckbreaker) but, soon thereafter, after being the recipient of a Running Spinning DDT courtesy of Sabu, Siaki was pinned after the Triple Jump Moonsault @ (17:26)

The image switches to pre-recorded footage. The Briscoes (Jay & Mark) walk back into their locker room. On the bottom of the screen: "Tuesday Night Showdown". The Briscoes look beaten down, and their blood is not totally washed up from their visit with the medics. Jay walks in and barges at a chair, kicking it away. Mark just walks up to his bag and begins unlacing his boots. Jay walks up to the camera, fuming red.
Jay Briscoe - "Y'all think this is nothing but a game? Y'all think that, that stacking the odds against us is going to be our demise?! Boys and girls, y'all just unleashed the real machines that have been sleeping inside of us for the last couple of months. We've been mowing down people left and right. And then y'all came along and snatched our belts away from us. We took 'em back and thaught we'd seen the last of you. If it's a movement y'all wanna start, than you've started it. One by one, they'll be moving your bodies out of arenas on stretchers or in bodybags...."
Jay turns over to his brother, who's pretty much not paying attention to anything, screaming at him.
Jay Briscoe - "C'mon man up bro!! C'mon!"
Mark gets up from his chair and both brothers are nose to nose.
Mark Briscoe - "Look I'm as tired as you are of being ganged up on by these f@ckers but I'm just beat up and I wanna just get the hell out of here."
Mark storms off with his bag, leaving his brother behind.
Cut to Chris Lovey & Steve Corino at their announce desk.
Chris Lovey - "Steve, this is what our cameras caught after the Briscoes had been not only beaten down by the Age of the Fall, but, after being double crossed by Rain and blind sided by the debut here in the EWE of Sterling James Keenan, and, as a result, next week on Saturday Night Wrestling, the Briscoes will be facing off against each other, as they usually do, when they need to bounce back from beatings, brother versus brother, right here next week!"
Steve Corino - "I don't know if this is customary for people like the Briscoes to just have a wrestling match to get their spirits up, but you're absolutely right. Whenever the Briscoes feel like they've lost track of where they're headed, they get in that ring and put on a show and that's what will see next week!"
Chris Lovey - "Earlier today Steve, members of the No Remorse Corps; Roderick Strong, Rocky Romero & Davey Richads, had a message for the EWE locker room, let's roll the tape!"
Image cuts to all three aforementioned members of the NRC standing before a white wall somewhere backstage at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
Roderick Strong - "You know what guys, we've broken backs, stiff kicked, and out wrestled everyone there was in Ring of Honor, I say it's time we move on to bigger and better things."
Rocky Romero - "What you got in mind papi?"
Roderick Strong - "I say we travel back to New York and challenge any trio that wants to come out of that EWE locker room."
Davey Richards - " Sounds fine by me."
Strong points at Romero.
Rocky Romero - "What he said."
Roderick Strong - "Then its settled. EWE! You better start thinking about who you want to send out there this coming Tuesday, we wouldn't want to make your guys look like another chapter of the Resilience."
All three men laugh this out.
Roderick Strong - "Alright, let's get out of here guys. We'll see whoever decides to show up this Tuesday in New York, and we'll have no remorse for whomever shows up."
All three men then walk off.
Rocky Romero - "Hey, that was catchy papi."
Image then cuts back to Lovey & Corino.
Chris Lovey - "Steve Corino, I know you're very familiar with the No Remorse Corps and what they have accomplished in the Ring of Honor, but, I'm questioning their train of thought, if this doesn't work out for them, the boys in the ROH locker room will not take lightly to the NRC looking down at everyone of the ROH boys."
Steve Corino - "If there's one thing you can count on with the No Remorse Corps, is that they will give you everything they have and then some. I have no doubt in my mind that if Strong, Romero & Richards are going to go ahead with this challenge, that they have the utmost confidence in themselves to win against any trio that the EWE sends after them."
Chris Lovey - "With that being said, Tuesday Night Showdown is shaping up to be another must see night of wrestling action, but before we move on to our second Main Event of the night, we want to welcome in...."
Camera zooms out to reveal, sitting next to Steve Corino.
Chris Lovey - "...one of the members of the EWE Matchmakers and former World Tag Team Champion, in some circles he's known as the "Model", Rick Martel, welcome to Saturday Night Wrestling."
Rick Martel - "Hi guys, it's great to be behind the desk watching what promises to be a good tag team match."
Steve Corino - "Still looking great Ricky!"
Martel laughs it up.
Chris Lovey - "Of course fans, Rick Martel, former tag team champions and former AWA World Champion, now, an official EWE Matchmaker, we'll get into that in just a little bit later on, but, we're glad you're here to lend us your knowledge on tag team wrestling as we send back to the ring with Bob Artese!"
Image cuts to the ring.
***EL PHANTASMO AND THE CHICKEN RUN***
Smoke and flashing ligths make way for the entrance of the Impact Players, lead to the ring by their very dangerous entourage; Francine, Dawn Marie and Jason. Jason is the first one to step out from the back, followed by Dawn, Lance Storm, Credible and finally Francine, holding the singapore cane. The quintet walk to the ring, the IP looking very intense and focused for tonight's big reunion type matchup. The rest of the gang drags the heat onto the whole group by either insulting or taunting the males in the crowd. Both Storm & Credible taunt the fans before their music dies down, letting for their opponents to come out from the back.
***MISERIA CANTARE (THE BEGINNING)***
The lights in the arena dim down, smoke coming out from the black curtains, everybody waiting with anticipation the arrival of CM Punk.
***MAN IN THE BOX***
Before AFI's lead singer can begin his war cry, "Man in the Box" from Alice In Chains blares over AFI's song, the lights in the arena coming back on, Beulah & Tammy walk out to a thunderous pop, leaving way to their respective "man", Tommy Dreamer & CM Punk. They both receive a great ovation. Dreamer looks dead serious as always, prancing around with a shy yet confident grin. Punk throwing up his X and showing off his "ECW" Championship Belt. The ladies lead their men to the ring. Both men then storm the ring, driving the Impact Players to the outside. Punk and Dreamer acknowledge the crowd, before they are settled in their respective corner by the referee for this bout, Robarb Jones.
