Re: EWE (Extreme Wrestling Entertainment) by LegendofBaseball
TUESDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN
Live on NBC
Tuesday, February 5th, 2008
New York City, NY (Hammerstein Ballroom)
// EWE_Pro_Wrestling.Com Live Feed Version without Commercials //
DARK MATCH
Xavier beat Aaron Idol (NWA: ECCW Fame) (3:09) with the "450 Degrees of Fear" (aka 450 Splash)
***OPEN FEED***
The opening video (set to Metallica's "Some Kind of Monster") plays out (lasting about 35-40 seconds). The EWE & "TNS" logos appear on the screen before the opening video ends. The cameras take us directly inside of the Hammerstein Ballroom.
***MISERIA CANTARE (THE BEGINNING)***
The entrance theme song for CM Punk is already playing inside of the Hammerstein Ballroom and the lights are dimmed down. The camera focused on the entrance way. When lead singer of AFI finally begins singing, CM Punk walks out from the back, accompanied to the ring by former stablemates and good friends, Colt Cabana & Ace Steel. CM Punk carries his "ECW" Championship proudly as all three men walk towards the ring, all receiving a great reaction from the New York City crowd. Punk, Cabana & Steel get into the ring, posing for the fans, before Punk gets handed a microphone by ring announcer Bob Artese. The music and the crowd dies down, letting Punk speak out.
*SECOND CITY! SECOND CITY!*
CM Punk - "That's right, this is exactly why we're out here. You see, this reunion has been 3 years in the making and long overdue. All of our careers diverted from one another in the last 3 years and it was about damn time we joined up together once more!"
*CHEERS*
Turning towards Cabana & Steel.
CM Punk - "I might have been a bit distant from you guys since I got here, but, as much as we all wanted to put the past behind us, it caught up to us and we have no choice but to show the wrestling world just why our reputation followed us everywhere we went as the most diverse and dangerous group ever formed in wrestling, I have named, the Second City Saints."
*CHEERS*
CM Punk - "But we came out here tonight for one thing, and that is to adress Steve Corino and his "Old School Heroes". Corino, remember when no one wanted anything to do with you in Ring of Honor? Remember that time? Remember who had to politic for you to join the Saints? It was me, and that's how you wanna thank me for saving your career... beat up on my friends and challenge me for a match at the PPV, for this belt right here?! There is no doubt that I accept your challenge Steve... but I have a warning for you Corino... No matter how many people you recruit, know this, the Second City Saints will show you that there is no strenght in numbers, just strenght in unity!"
*CHEERS*
Cabana rushes in behind Punk and steals the microphone from him with a huge grin on his face.
*COLT CABANA! COLT CABANA! COLT CABANA!*
Colt Cabana - "Punk, Punk, all that's fine bro, but you know me, we've been in New York Citayyy!!"
*CHEERS*
Colt Cabana - "...we've been here for the last couple of weeks, and, just ask Ace... I've been partying all day and all night daddy!!!"
*CHEERS*
Colt Cabana - "But, but, I was in my hotel room watching you on Saturday Night Wrestling Punker, and, you know, I've been flying all over the place the last couple of days, making calls here, sending in e-mails, from Chicago to New York, and back to Chicago and now in New York and I've finalized a deal I'm sure you'll be proud of."
Punk brings the microphone close to his mouth to speak.
CM Punk - "What... Ace, what is he talking about?!"
Ace lifts his shoulders in the air and doesn't seem to know.
Colt Cabana - "Punk, you'll know soon enough daddy! Ladies & Gents, Mets & Yanks, Giants & Jets, Knicks &.... &...."
Cabana brings his mic down and whispers something in Ace's hear, (which the camera catches and goes a little something like that... "What's the name of the women's basketball team in New York?)
Ace Steel looks at Cabana confused.
Colt Cabana - "... and fans alike!! The Second City Saints are proud to welcome to their ever growing family, the one, the only.... the Original Diva!! SUNNY!!!"
***BACK IN BLACK***
*CHEERS*
Punk looks puzzled, as does Ace Steel, while Cabana looks at the entrance, goofing around, awaiting for Sunny to come out. She finally does, wearing a skimpy clad red skirt with a very... and I mean very, revealing white shirt. Sunny waves to the fans and claps a few hands while strutting down the entrance way. She finally makes her way to ringside and gets greeted by Cabana who sits on the second rope to ease Sunny's way in to the ring, giving a little special for Cabana's pleasure under her skirt. Sunny gets inside of the ring and Cabana drags her and starts dancing around with her to the sound of AC/DC. The music finaly dies down and Punk steals the microphone away from Cabana.
CM Punk - "... I really don't know what to say."
Sunny walks forward and takes the microphone from Punk.
Sunny - "CM Punk, I'll be honest with you honey, you guys don't really need me, let's face it, you are three of the best at what you do... The reason I'm here with you is to stop people like Francine... and Dawn Marie from tarnishing the image of this company by putting their noses where they don't belong. So, it was no coincidence that I was out there this past Saturday to lend a hand. And since there is no one in Professional Wrestling today that knows about being at ringside and taking advantage of each and every opportunity one can get to help their men inside of the ring, I'll have my eyes on each and every of those so called "valets" that will certainly cause more harm than good."
CM Punk gets handed the microphone back by Sunny.
CM Punk - "Still, you do have a very sketchy past with your former clients... leaving them for no reason, backstabbing them... I mean, isn't true that saying that goes around is, "what Sunny wants, Sunny gets"? You've been known to roam around wrestlers because of the gold they posessed, why should we believe your goal is to really help us fight people like the Impact Players & the Old School Heroes?"
Sunny - "Let me prove myself, is that good enough for you guys? I've been in this business far too long not to know that the past sometimes marres the present, but the Sunny you see in front of you is not after gold anymore, it is after respect, and since you are some of the most respected men in this business, there is no other place for me to go but be besides you as you fight what's been, will and forever be wrong about this business, people like the Impact Players and the Old School Heroes and God knows who else is bound to show up, so, CM Punk, will you let me show you just how serious I am about this by joining you, and being at ringside for your match with Dreamer against the Impact Players this coming Saturday?!"
Punk looks around at the crowd and at Ace & Cabana and extends his hand to Sunny, shaking it sincerely. Cabana walks in the middle of them and grabs the mic.
Colt Cabana - "Alright! Now hit my music, let's party!!!!!!"
***COPA CABANA***
While The Second City Saints (Cabana & Sunny) party in the ring, the camera switches to the announce booth, perched way high up in the air, with Joey Styles & Jesse "the Body" Ventura welcoming the viewers at home to this week's "Tuesday Night Showdown".
Joey Styles - "Welcome to Tuesday Night Showdown, I'm Joey Styles alongside myself, Jesse "the Body" Ventura, and, what a great way to kick off this week's TNS with the announcement that Sunny, the Original Diva, Tammy Lynn Sytch is now the newest member of the Second City Saints."
Jesse Ventura - "Well, this is smart, a lot of the people that are after the Second City Saints all have that outside help, and Sunny has been around this business for more than a dozen years and it's maybe the smartest thing for them to join up with her and get some of that, outside help as well on their side."
Joey Styles - "But CM Punk made a great point about Tammy Lynn Sytch's past, she has been known for dumping numerous of her clients and that is something Sunny will need to prove to everybody in the Second City Saints that she has turned over a new leaf and that she is no longer after fame and fortune, but honor and respect."
Back to ringside.
***DISPOSABLE TEENS w/ DEPECHE MODE INTRO***
Accompanied to the ring by Allison Danger, Christopher Daniels makes his way out from the back to the ring. Looking very focused. A few people applaud Daniels, ackowledging his tremendous wrestling ability, but most of them boo the Fallen Angel for his ever so growing arrogance.
***SONG 2***
The Anarchist, Doug Williams, makes his way out from the back next. Doug Williams, the proud son of England, maybe the best techincal wrestling of the past decade in wrestling gets a great reaction after a long hiatus away from the American Wrestling scene. Not since Pro Wrestling Guerilla's Battle of Los Angeles 2oo7 had Williams wrestled in the states. Looking very fit as always.
***JUNGLE BOOGIE***
The biggest pop went to the soul brother from Denver, Colorado, 2 Cold Scorpio. Wearing some funky attire, mainly a long velvety blue coat, Scorpio strutted and danced his way towards the ring, clapping many fans' hands along the way. Scorpio entered the ring and taunted Daniels with his usual Scorpio bump 'n' grind.
*DING*
Triple Threat Match
Winner Advances to Next Week's Matchup to Crown 1st ever EWE Television Champion
Christopher Daniels w/ Allison Danger Vs. Doug Williams Vs. 2 Cold Scorpio
During the match, Joey Styles put over all three men, talking about their respective past reputations as tremendous technical wrestlers. Ventura & Styles had a little argument over the fact that Daniels was supposedly still undefeated in the EWE, regarding the Curry Man appearance at the PPV. This totally diverged from what the fans and everybody else expected. The first few minutes of this contest was a sheer show of wits and catch as catch can wrestling acumen by all three, exchanging Arm Drags, Side Headlocks, Headlock Takedowns, Drop Toe Holds and what have you which lead to a 3-Way standoff. Williams & Scorpio exchanged hand shakes while Daniels refused and rather rolled to the outside to regroup alongside Allison Danger. The rest of this contest was "Can you top this" type affair. With Daniels on the outside, Williams lunged at him with a Suicide Dive. Scorpio followed suit with a High Flying Crossbody from the top rope onto Williams on the outside. The whole show of high flying skills was topped off by Daniels performing a superb version of his inside the ring closed legged Moonsault, to the outside on both Williams & Scorpio. The end came when Doug Williams hit his Chaos Theory (aka Rollover German Suplex) on 2 Cold Scorpio, only to be hit himself with the BME (Best Moonsault Ever) by Christopher Daniels, who covered Doug Williams for the pinfall victory @ (10:06)
Joey Styles - "What a win by Christopher Daniels, this means we will get to see Daniels take on Tajiri next week in their "Retaliation" rematch, this time, the winner of that match will be crowned EWE Television Champion."
*** Video promoting Super Brawl I Live on PPV Saturday February 23rd from Baltimore, Maryland at the 1st Mariner Arena + the Special 1st night of action the night before, that will be highlighted during the PPV the following night. ***
Back at ringside, the cameras follow Daniels & Danger backstage. After turning a corner, Daniels & Danger stumble on Steve Corino.
Steve Corino - "Great match Chris, great match..."
Corino shakes Daniels' hand, waves his sister goodbye and continues to walk through the backstage area, leaving Daniels & Danger a bit puzzled.
Back at ringside.
***BLEED FOR ME***
We are now ready for Sonjay Dutt's EWE & Tuesday Night Showdown debut, but first, coming to the ring, his opponent, the often overlooked, always underrated, David Young, the now, official Master of the Spinebuster (technically due to CW Anderson retiring late last year). The crowd don't seem pleased at the sight of Young walking out to the ring, but DY remains focused and walks firmly to the ring, fully aware of the abilities he posesses.
***THE POTION***
Walking to the ring with a new entrance theme song, Sonjay Dutt gets a huge little pop from the crowd, not carrying a a tam tam to the ring and not praying for the people's good shake, just being himself, the Original Playa from the Himalaya. Dutt poses for the fans before jumping over the top rope and locking eyes with David Young.
*DING*
Singles Match
David Young Vs. Sonjay Dutt
Both men being very similar with each other from their time in Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling looked very relaxed during their matchup. The opening minutes really showcased both men, to the surprise of most, David Young stood his ground with the faster Dutt. Dutt almost clinched this one with a missed Moonsault off the top rope transformed into a Standing Moonsault onto Young, but Young was able to free himself from the pinning predicament and live to see another minute of action. Dutt continued on the attack with numerous Hurrancanranas & Headscissors Takedown variations. That was a bit too much of those twirls and spins because after catching Young with a Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors Takedown, Young was able to bounce back up on his feet and catch a running Sonjay Dutt with a very devastating Spinebuster for the upset pinfall victory @ (8:45)
The camera switch to a pre-recorded promo. The scene opens up inside of a small pizzeria in the wee hours of the morning somewhere on the island of New York, very few people in the joint. Sitting in the corner of the restaurant, the camera sitting with them at the table are the Full Blooded Italians (last version); "the Sicilian Shooter" Little Guido Maritato, Tony Mamaluke & Trinity. They're all talking while sipping some colas.
Little Guido - "You guys, whaddya think Vito's got in mind for us?"
Tony Mamaluke - "I don't know."
Trinity - "Same here."
Little Guido - "Jesus, I'm telling you, this guy's not thinking straight sometimes."
They all remain silent for a couple of seconds, before Tony spots someone entering the pizzeria.
Tony Mamaluke - "I think he's here."
The camera spots Big Vito, dressed all in black, with a leather coat going halfway to his knees, a leather italian hat covering his bald head. Vito salutes the owner or workers of the joint and walks towards the FBI's table.
Big Vito - "FBI, I'm glad y'all could make it."
Little Guido - "So what is it Vito, why did ya bring us here, huh?"
Big Vito - "Well, dyou know... *cellphone rings* hold, hold on..... Hello, yeah, alright, where you at... c'mon now, we waiting for you. C'mon Sal, get here... alright."
Guido whispers with his hand over his mouth to Tony.
Little Guido - "Big Sal?!"
Tony nudges his shoulders.
Big Vito - "Alright, like I was telling you guys, I've called you up here because this is our big chance to takeover this place. They've already decided to take you guys out of the tag tournament, but, that's okay, because I'm bringing in someone that's gonna help us not only takeover over, but take us seriously for frickin' once."
Vito spots someone outside.
Big Vito - "Hey Sall!"
The camera doesn't catch the man and neither does the three people sitting at the table. The sound of the door opening (thanks to some little bells) indicates the arrival of Vito's ''help''. The camera spots him while Big Vito introduces him.
Big Vito - "Alright everbody, that's my cousin. Big Sal E. Rinauro."
The camera looks at Guido, Mamaluke & Trinity's reactions, one face after the other.
Guido - *whispering* "Big?!"
Mamaluke nudges his shoulder and cocks his eyebrows.
Rinauro arrives in front of everyone and Vito sees everyone's perplexed. Guido & Mamaluke start laughing a bit.
Big Vito - "What?! What's so funny, huh?"
Guido - "Big?!"
Mamaluke & Guido start laughing again.
Big Sal E. Rinauro - "Yeah... big..."
Rinauro points to his private parts, the camera filming there to add emphasis, and then, it switches to Trinity's reaction, laughter turned into a huge grin, nodding her head in approval.
Big Vito - "Alright now whatever, camera guy, look here, there you have it, 100 % Full Blooded Italians in front of you, so, EWE, I suggest you hide your salami and cheese because were nothing more than a bunch a hungry paisan ready anybody for food and wine, now, let's go, we got places to be."
The camera takes a last glance at the FBI, Vito hooking his arm around Sal Rinauro's head and dragging him away. Guido & Mamaluke looking at the camera and telling everyone watching to "go f@ck themselves" with the famous hand gestures, while Trinity sits up and hooks her arms around both the heads of Guido & Mamaluke. A digital writing appears on the screen, reading, "Next Week... FBI Debut... On TNS!".
Camera switches back to live action at ringside.
***BARRACUDA***
Ready for our next bout, making her official EWE debut, straight out of Toronto, the Small Bombshell, Shantelle Taylor. She seems very pleased and happy to be on such a big stage this early in her career, clapping the fans' hands as she runs down the entrance way and makes it into the ring.
***GENESIS***
Again coming to the ring with a new entrance theme song, (hopefully sticking to this one from now on) the very popular Cheerleader Melissa makes her way to the ring to a great crowd reaction. Really gaining in fans this side of the United States. While Cheerleader Melissa was making her way to the ring, Joey Styles hyped a video that Sara Del Rey has taped and that will air this coming Saturday on Saturday Night Wrestling as a "Challenge" for Cheerleader Melissa.
Singles Match
Shantelle Taylor Vs. Cheerleader Melissa
Both female shaked hands before the match started but in no way did Melissa treat Shantelle with kindness once the bell rang. Shantelle was able to hit some bit of offense in your usual dropkick, flying clothesline and kicks and punches, but, Melissa's sheer experience and brutality made quick work of Shantelle Taylor. Melissa finished off Shantelle with the Russian Reverse Leg Sweep @ (4:43)
Both women exchanged handshakes after the match as a show of respect before the camera switched to a promotional video.

Back in the arena.
***COME WITH ME***
A huge chorus of boos echoes from the rafters of the Hammerstein Ballroom as "The Independent God of Professional Wrestling" makes his way out from back, accompanied by Ms. Traci Brooks, the Bleached Blonde Haired American Strong Style Samurai, Steve Corino. Corino and Brooks make their way down to the ring, trying to escape many angry New Yorkers' flailing arms, making it to the ring intact. Traci gets the microphone from Bob Artese and hands it over to Corino.
*BOOS*
Steve Corino - "CM PUNK!!"
*SHUT THE F@CK UP! SHUT THE F@CK UP!*
Steve Corino - "CM Punk, my longtime friend. Bravo! Really, great decision than to have someone with as much experience, and as much knowledge as Tammy Sytch join your little Saints. Problem is Punk, you need experience in regards to pro wrestling... not in your extra caricular activities or lack thereof. CM Punk, I hope you're still in the back and listening to me, because in just a few moments, I will make short work of Chris Jericho, so, try and pick up on the mistakes he makes, because it might just get you a few more minutes of ring time with me come the Pay-Per-View Punker!! So get him out here so I can run circles around this has been!!"
***EVENFLOW***
The crowd goes unglued for Jericho's theme song, as he makes his way out from the back through the curtains, turning his back to the crowd and extending his arms in the form of a cross, getting himself and the fans pumped up. Jericho mumbles to himself all the way to the ring, not taking his eyes off Corino for a minute. Jericho gets in the ring and turns his back to Corino who takes full advantage of that slip-off by Jericho, jump starting this match.
Singles Match
Steve Corino w/ Ms. Traci Brooks Vs. Chris Jericho
The first five minutes were nothing more than a brawl around the Ballroom, with Jericho regaining the control of this matchup midway through the brawl. The rest of the matchup was exactly what everyone had been waiting, a true "dream" match. It was a high octane affair with both men tearing at each other limb from limb. Ms. Traci Brooks did not play a factor in this matchup until the very, very end of the bout. When all seemed lost for Corino after having been the recipient of the "Rock N' Rolla" (aka Code Breaker), Corino was looking to get himself synched in the Lion Tamer, courtesy of Y2J. At this very moment, Ms. Traci Brooks jumped on the apron and directed referee Robarb Jones' attention away from the match. Jericho applied his Submission Finishing Maneuver, only to have, out of absolutely nowhere (out from the crowd), Christopher Daniels! make a run-in and cost Jericho the matchup, hitting him with his infamous "Angel's Wings" and putting Corino over on top of Jericho, just as Ms. Traci Brooks was turning around, allowing referee Robarb Jones to make the three count @ (14:55).
After the matchup, Daniels jumped back in the ring and helped celebrate with Corino and Brooks.
Joey Styles - "Have we just seen the addition of two new members to the Old School Heroes?"
Jesse Ventura - "Well, if you take into consideration the fact that Christopher Daniels is managed by Allison Danger, than yes, I'd have to say Steve & Chris Daniels had a plan from the start and they executed it to perfection because in the record books, Corino gets the big win over Chris Jericho."
Joey Styles - "Well it not only looks as though Daniels has joined Corino and the Old School Heroes, it's evident to me that Corino has forged himself the best pairs of allies anyone can think of in this business of professional wrestling, and this can mean nothing good for the Second City Saints and the rest of the EWE locker room!"
Cameras switch to the backstage area of the Hammerstein Ballroom, near one of the elevators. Out of nowhere, someone gets throwned down. The man looks to be bleeding and after he rolls over to his back, the camera catches a quick glimpse of the man's face.... it is Raven! We can now hear the laughter and voice of the perpetrator, who comes in to view, stomping away at Raven, the long black locks giving him out as being Vampiro!
Vampiro - "C'mon Raven, are you not going to fight back Raven! Is this not what you wanted Raven!?"
Vampiro continues the onslaught, dragging Raven up by the hair and changing locations. The camera that was backstage loses the pair, until they are found back, Vampiro dragging Raven still, through the crowd in the Hammerstein Ballroom. Vampiro beats Raven around the ring, using chairs, the steel barricade, and the ring apron to help him in his cause of destruction. Vampiro rolls Raven into the ring and grabs a microphone from ringside before sliding under the bottom rope and speaking to the downed Raven, holding his now bloody hair, looking straight at him, into those dazed eyes.
Vampiro - "Raven... we could have been a force to be reckoned with here, but instead, you wanted me to turn on you, you did... and now I did, but, you don't seem happy Raven. So I'm guessing you just want me to end your career right here and right now... so why not do it... Send me a ref !! C'mon!"
Vampiro swings a fist, with help of the microphone, to Raven's forehead before throwing it down. Referee John Finnegan finaly makes his way down to the ring and asked for the bell to be rung.
Impromptu Match
Vampiro Vs. Raven
Vampiro makes quick and short work of Raven, beating him senseless. Vampiro even went as far as turning his back to Raven, giving him a Steel Chair, but, Raven would not hit Vampiro for reasons unbeknownst to everyone watching. Vampiro finished off Raven with a sucession of maneuvers. First hitting his own "Nail in the Coffin" (aka Michinoku Driver) on a Steel Chair, and then, lifting the prone body of Raven up and dropping him back down with a vicious variation of Raven's "Evenflow DDT" for the pinfall (tainted) victory @ (3:58)
After the "bout", Vampiro stands over top of Raven and taunts him to no end.
Joey Styles - "God, this is sickening... roll something else, anything, please..."
