Thanks Szumi for the review, and I will admit it myself, I suck when it comes to promo writing. For some reason, I just have trouble coming up with promo ideas, which makes it that much harder when I don't even know what to do. I'll try and take your advice for my future shows because you're advice is very helpful. Once again, thanks for the review.

Sorry for the delay. I have had a rough couple of days. But here is Smackdown. The matches are pretty much really short, but the next Smackdown will be better.

The smackdown theme song and video hit the TV screen. Then the camera goes to the sold out arena. The camera shows some fans before swooping over to Michael Cole and JBL and ring side.

Cole: We welcome you live to Smackdown I am Michael Cole and beside me is my partner JBL.

JBL: Tonight Michael we have a very special card.

Cole: You speak the Truth John, Tonight in the main event it will be Edge vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship.

JBL: Edge made the challenge and Batista accepted.

Cole: And Vickie Guerrero has a very special announcement that she is going to make tonight.

JBL: I have no idea what it is, but I bet it is something that is going to change Smackdown forever.

Vickie Guerrero shows up on the titontron.

Vickie: Ladies and Gentlemen, I have an announcement that will change Smackdown forever. As you all know, I have eliminated the cruiserweight Championship. But now I am going to fill that empty championship spot. Ladies and Gentlemen, the next match will be for the Hardcore Championship!

The fans are going insane and when Matt Hardy’s music hits, they go even more insane.

Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the hardcore championship! Making his way to the ring, Matt Hardy!

Matt Hardy walks to the ring with a determined look on his face. He gets in the ring and awaits his opponent.

C.M. Punk’s music hits and the fans are going crazy.

Chimel: And his opponent, C.M. Punk!

Match#1 (Hardcore Championship) Matt Hardy vs C.M. Punk
The match starts as both superstars circle the ring, then lock up. Hardy takes Punk back to the corner. The ref calls for a clean break and Hardy does. Hardy gets C.M. Punk out of the corner and takes him to the middle of the ring. Hardy picks him up and scoop slams him. Hardy gets on the second rope and does and version 1 signal and as C.M. Punk starts to get up, Hardy jumps off and drives a elbow into Punks head. Hardy turns Punk around and covers him.

Both men get up and they exchange right hands. Hardy puts a knee in Punk’s gut then whips him off the ropes and drives a elbow into his mouth. Punk goes down as he starts to get up, blood starts to trickle out of his mouth. He gets up and Hardy gets him ready for the twist of fate, but Punk drives him into the turnbuckle. Hardy is still in the turnbuckle as Punk goes to the other side. Hardy doesn’t see Punk running at him. Punk runs at Hardy and drives a knee into his face. Then Punk does a bulldog. Punk covers Hardy.

Punk gets up and goes to the outside of the ring. He gets a table out from under the ring. Punk slides it in the ring and gets in himself. Punk sets the table up and gets Hardy up and tries to sit him on it, but Hardy fights back with rights and lefts. Hardy gets the side effect. Hardy gets Punk up and sets him on the table. Hardy goes to the top rope. Hardy jumps off with a leg drop, but Punk moves and Hardy goes crashing through the table. Both men are down. Punk starts to move a little bit. Punk gets all the way up and gets Hardy up. Punk puts Hardy on his shoulders. GTS! Punk covers.

When Smackdown comes back, the camera is backstage in Vickie’s office. Vickie is talking to a referee. Somebody knocks on the door. Ric Flair comes in.

Vickie: Hey Ric.

Flair: Vickie Guerrero. How are you?

Vickie: Good how are you?

Flair: Couldn’t be better and that is actually why I am here.

Vickie: Really?

Flair: Yes. I am ready to step back inside the ring!

Vickie: OK. Then I will book you a match next week.

Flair: Thank you Vickie.

Another knock is heard on the door. C.M Punk walks in.

Flair: Hey Punk. You just fought a great match. congratulations.

Punk: Thank you. Now Vickie I have a question to ask you.

Vickie: What is it?

Punk: That 24/7 rule. Does it still apply?

Vickie: Of course. That is what makes the hardcore championship exciting.

Punk: Well than I better get-

Flair chops Punk in his chest and Punk goes down to the mat. Flair gets him up and scoop slams him on the concrete. Flair gets on him and tells the ref to cover.

Camera cuts to the ring.

JBL: Michael what just happened?

Cole: Ric Flair just took advantage of the 24/7 rule and is the new hardcore champion.

MVP’s music hits the arena.

Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, MVP!

MVP walks to the ring and steps inside, takes his necklaces off and waits for his opponent.

Tommy Dreamer’s music hits.

Chimel: Making his way to the ring, Tommy Dreamer.

Match#2 MVP vs Tommy Dreamer
The bell rings and the crowd is behind Tommy Dreamer. MVP and Dreamer lock up in the middle of the ring. MVP lets go and kicks Dreamer in his stomach. MVP whips Dreamer off the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Dreamer ducks and comes off the ropes with a clothesline of his own. Dreamer gets up and clinches his fist and waits for MVP to get up. MVP gets up and Dreamer hits him a few times. Dreamer then whips MVP off the ropes and does a back body drop. He gets up and gets MVP up and puts him in position for the ddt, but MVP gets out of it and gets out of the ring. Dreamer gets out of the ring and chases after MVP. MVP gets in the ring and Dreamer follows. MVP puts the boots to Dreamer. MVP gets Dreamer up and uppercuts him a few times, then whips him to the ropes. MVP runs at him and goes for a big boot,. but Dreamer moves and MVP’s leg hits the turnbuckle. When MVP turns around, Dreamer picks him up and puts him in the tree of woe in the turnbuckle. Tommy Dreamer goes to the other side of the ring. The crowd cheers along with Tommy ECW! Tommy runs at MVP and drop kicks him. Tommy pulls MVP away from the ropes, then covers.

Dreamer gets up and waits for MVP to get up. MVP turns around and sees Tommy and he gets out of the ring. MVP starts to walk to the back. He walks to the back. Dreamer looks extremely mad as the ref counts the 10 and calls for the bell.

Winner: Tommy Dreamer via Count Out

When Smackdown comes back from commercial Deuce and Domino’s music hit.

Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making their way to the ring, they are the WWE Tag Team Champion, Deuce and Domino.

Biscuits and Gravy hit the arena as Jesse comes out pulling Festus out by his hand.

Chimel: And their opponent, Jesse and Festus!

Match#3 Deuce and Domino vs Jesse and Festus
Final minutes: Jesse is in the ring with Deuce. Deuce has Jesse in some kind of headlock. The ref is checking to make sure it isn’t a choke. The crowd is getting behind Jesse. Jesse fights his way back to a vertical base. Jesse drives a few elbows into the stomach of Deuce. Jesse gets Deuce off of him and runs over to Festus and tags him in. Festus gets in and Deuce is pleading with him not wanting anything to do with Festus. Festus grabs Deuce and throws him into the corner and starts punching him with right hands and left hands. Festus whips Deuce to the other turnbuckle. Festus runs at Deuce and hits him with a clothesline. Deuce falls down to the mat. Festus covers.

Festus gets up and grounds Deuce with some rights and lefts. Festus runs over to Domino and knocks him off the ring apron. Festus tags in Jesse, and Jesse goes to the top rope. Festus takes Jesse and throws him right onto Deuce. Jesse covers.

The bell rings and Festus goes back to his normal self. The camera cuts backstage to Vickie Guerrero in her office. Edge walks in.

Vickie: Hello

Edge: I don’t need your hellos Vickie. I want something else.

Vickie: What? I gave you a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship. What else is there?

Edge: I want you to add something to the match.

Vickie: What is it?

Edge: Something with steel

(Fans start to cheer)

Vickie: What?

Edge: A steel cage match!

Vickie: Whoa whoa whoa. Why should I make it a steel cage match?

Edge: Because I want it to be-

(Batista walks in)

Edge: What are you doing here?

Batista: What are you doing here?

Vickie: Boys calm down.

Edge: You(points a finger a Vickie) Shut up!

Batista: Don’t tell a woman to shut up.

Edge: I will if I want to.

Vickie: HEY! Calm down! Tonight it will be Edge vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. In a first blood match!

Edge: Wait a minute. I wanted a steel cage match.

Vickie: Well you got a first blood match. Now both of you, get out of my office!

Both men exit as Smackdown goes to commercial.

Nunzio’s music hits and he comes out looking quite scared.

Chimel: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, Nunzio.

The Great Kahli’s music hits and he comes out.

Chimel: Making his way to the ring, The Great Kahli.

Match#4 The Great Kahli vs Nunzio
Nunzio goes over to The Great Kahli. Nunzio starts kicking at Kahli’s knees. They don’t even faze Kahli. Kahli chops Nunzio in his noggin. Nunzio is knocked out cold. Kahli gets him up and grabs him by his throat with both hands, and double chokeslams Nunzio. The Great Kahli isn’t done. Kahli gets Nunzio up and puts the vice grip on him. Nunzio is out cold. Kahli lets go off it, and puts a foot on Nunzio’s chest.

Camera cuts backstage to Josh Matthews standing by with Rey Mysterio.

Rey: Josh, that was last Sunday. I am looking to tonight when I face off against Chuck Palumbo.

Matthews: Then what are your thoughts on that match?

Rey: It is going to be one heck of a match.

Matthews: Is that all?

Rey: Finlay you better watch your back. Cause this is not over.

Chuck Palumbo’s music hits and he comes out on his motor cycle.

Chimel: The following match is for one fall, making his way to the ring, Chuck Palumbo.

Rey Mysterio’s music hits the arena.

Chimel: And his opponent, Rey Mysterio.

Match#5 Chuck Palumbo vs Rey Mysterio
Last minutes: Palumbo has had control for most of the match. He has Rey up in the corner. Palumbo whips Mysterio to the corner and runs at him and hits him with a clothesline. Palumbo gets Mysterio back up, but Mysterio kicks and kicks at the knees of Palumbo and Mysterio gets Palumbo down to his knees. Mysterio gets Palumbo with a kick to the back of the head. Mysterio covers.

Mysterio gets up before Palumbo and waits for him to get up. Palumbo gets up, and Mysterio trips him into the ropes. Mysterio comes off the ropes. 619 NO! Palumbo gets out of the way and big boots Mysterio. Palumbo gets up and sets Mysterio up for lowridin’, but Mysterio gets out of it, but is hit by a clothesline. Palumbo gets Mysterio up, but Mysterio hits Palumbo in his gut and trips him into the ropes. Mysterio comes off the ropes. 619! Mysterio jumps off the top rope. HURRICARANA! Mysterio covers.

Aftermath: Mysterio gets up, and Finlay gets in the ring. Finlay starts beating Mysterio with the shillelagh. After about 7 hits, Finlay leaves.

Chimel: Making his way to the ring, The Rated R Superstar Edge.

Batista’s music hits.

Chimel: Making his way to the ring, he is the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista.

Main Event (World Heavyweight Championship) Batista© vs Edge (First Blood)
Last minutes: The match has been back and fourth with both men suffering a chair shot to the head. Edge has Batista down and has him set up for the spear. Batista gets up, and Edge comes running, but Batista moves and Edge runs shoulder first into the steel ring post. Batista gets Edge out of the ring post and takes him to the middle of the ring. Batista sets Edge up for the Batista bomb.

BATISTA BOMB! Batista gets up and covers Edge. Batista suddenly remembers that it is a first blood match. So Batista goes to the outside and gets a steel chair. Batista gets in the ring and waits for Edge to get up. Edge gets up, and Batista swings the chair at Edge, but Edge moves the ref in the way and Batista hits the ref. Edge takes advantage of it and spears Batista. Edge then goes to the outside of the ring and gets another steel chair and throws it into the ring. Edge sticks one of the steel chairs under Batista’s head. Edge gets the other chair. CONCHAIRTO! Batista is busted wide open. Edge gets up and sees that the ref is still down. Edge gets mad and gets Batista up, but Batista reverses it and spinebusters Edge. Batista grabs the steel chair and gets Edge up and hits him right in the face. Now Edge is bleeding. The referee starts to get up. Batista hits Edge in the face with the steel chair again. The ref is up all the way by now. He sees that Batista is bleeding and calls for the bell.

The ref is talking to Tony Chimel.

Chimel: The winner of this match and NEW World Heavyweight Champion, Edge!

The ref rolls Edge over to give him the belt and sees that Edge is bleeding to. The ref goes to have another talk with Tony Chimel.

Chimel: As both men are bleeding, the referee has declared this match a NO contest. So STILL World Heavyweight Champion, Batista!

The ref hands the title to Batista and Batista lifts the title in the air.

*Dong*

The lights go off. Undertaker’s music comes on. The Undertaker comes out and stands on the stage. The undertaker signals that he wants the World Heavyweight Championship.

Smackdown goes off the air with Batista and The Undertaker having a staredown.

SmackDown Review

I think it was a good idea to bring back the Hardcore Title because of the Cruiserweight 'slump' at the moment. I think that you have the ability to turn the Cruiserweight Division around, but the Hardcore title is a good choice as well. I feel that Vickie should have said a little more and explained the reasoning, rather than BANG! The Hardcore Title is here.

Why did you put Matt Hardy in the Hardcore Championship Match when he is the United States Champion? That didn't make a lot of sense to me, and wasn't realistic. I'm glad you put the title on Punk though. A pretty short match for what I call a "recap full match," which is where you right out the whole match but in a recap type of form. Maybe a little more length to this, but all the moves were great.

The 24/7 Rule obviously takes away the title's prestige, and lengthy reigns. Good luck with this, and it will take up a lot of segment time. This segment had some bad wording problems for being in Vickie's office, because Punk got chopped down to the 'mat' and then scoop slammed onto the 'concrete.' Chances are Vickie's office will be carpet. And then a ref being right there is unlikely, but I guess it's likely with the Hardcore Title around.

The MVP vs. Tommy Dreamer was a basic match. By the looks of thing, your having Dreamer job, and don't really have anything too big planned for MVP. This match felt like it was too much back and forth. It's good to have the heel in control for the mid part of the match, while the face controls the beginning, and then a back and forth fight at the end. The countout was pointless, because it's not like it was for a title and MVP was trying to retain. I think it should have been a dirty finish, not a countout.

I liked the teams you put against eachother for this next match. Deuce & Domino are a great team, while The Daltons are just starting out in their rookie status. Where is Cherry? I think she should have been there. I guess that your finish was to get Jesse and Festus on a role, but when they get their Tag Title Shot (pretty obvious they'll get one) I think they'll lose. The finish seemed weak. They need to solidify some sort of strong double team finisher to keep them on their role.

I guess that Vickie & Edge aren't in 'cahoots' which works for me. Vickie talked far too much here, and Edge didn't talk enough. It didn't really make sense for Edge to ask for a Steel Cage, because it wouldn't be set up above the ring. Very unrealistic. A first blood match is actually a good choice IMO, but I was hoping for a Batista vs. Edge wrestling match.

This squash match didn't really interest me. Khali doesn't interest me, but it's fun to have Nunzio crushed.

The Rey Mysterio interview seemed quite out of character. Mysterio didn't have that vibe that he should of. He sounded too plain, and I didn't like it.

I'm not sure if I would like to see this match happen in real life, but it would be an interesting match. A nice finish and a predictable aftermath. I can sense their feud continuing even further.

The Batista/Edge match was okay for the main event. Of course, a First Blood match has a lot of expectations to live up to. The finish was a little awkard, and a decision change was some good controversy.

A not bad show for your first show. Try to use bolds, because it makes your show look more formal.

Raw Preview----January 14th, 2008

Last week we learned that Randy Orton would have to defend his WWE Championship for the third time against Chris Jericho at the Royal Rumble. This is Jericho's last shot at the title during Orton's current title reign, but if Orton purposely gets himself counted out or disqualified, Jericho will become the new WWE Champion. What will happen just 13 days between the Royal Rumble? These two are bound to meet somewhere on Raw, but what will break out?

Triple H was brutally assaulted by Shane McMahon last week, causing him to leave the arena in an ambulance. Triple H will have his chance for revenge when he faces off against Shane on Raw. Will Triple H be in any condition to compete after last week?

Paul London and Brian Kendrick knocked off Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch to capture the World Tag Team Championship. Will their reign as champs be cut short when Cade and Murdoch use their rematch clause on Raw?

Speaking of rematch clause, Beth Phoenix is cashing in hers on Raw as she will square off against Mickie James in hopes to reclaim the Women's Championship that she lost to Mickie at New Year's Revolution. Will the Glamazon win back the Women's Title?

In another New Year's Revolution Rematch, The Intercontinental Champion Mr. Kennedy will look to beat Bobby Lashley in a non-title match. Will Lashley defeat the Intercontinental Champion again, or was his previous win just a fluke?

Lilian: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome, the chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment, Mr. McMahon!

JR: Well we welcome you to Monday Night Raw, but what a way to kick things off here with none other than the chairman himself, Mr. McMahon.

King: You're not kidding, JR. When the show starts off with Mr. McMahon, then you know that it's going to be big!

The crowd is chanting "You Suck! You Suck!"

Vince: SHHHUUTTTTTTTT UUUUUUUUPPPPPPPP!

*Heat*

Vince: That's right, you heard me! When I tell you to shut-up, you SHUUUTTTT-UUUUPPPP!

*Heat*

Vince: You see, I have spent my entire life building this company into what it is today, so it's about time you listen to what I have to say!

*Heat*

Vince: What's wrong with all of you people? Do you not speak English? You listen to me or else I am going to quit!

*Pop*

Vince: Oh, so you like that, do you? You want me to quit?

Vince: Well guess what..........that's not gonna happen, and it's never gonna happen!

Vince: I am tired of being disrespected by you poor people!

Vince: Speaking of doing whatever I want, last week I had some business to take care of, and I'm still not through with this whole 'business.' I was interrupted by none-other than that little fan favourite, oh what’s his name…..Triple H.

*Pop at Triple H's name*

Vince: Yeah, Triple H thought that he would play another little 'joke' on me, he thought that once again he would take advantage of me, he thought that he had me at his fingertips, but Triple H found out the hard way, that I'm the only one who can do whatever I want.

There is a pause

Vince: You know what, now that I think about it, I'm actually in a good mood, nah, I'm in a great mood! You know why? Do you know why? It's because Triple H got sent to the hospital in an ambulance! Wow, he was in a pretty bad condition! And just for the record, why don't we watch that again? That sounds like a great idea, let's roll that footage from last week.

We are shown the footage of Mr. McMahon on the phone with Triple H coming, and then Shane McMahon attacking him. We see Shane throw him through the windshield of a nearby car, and then an ambulance take him away.

Vince: Ho-ho, did you see that? Man, has that gotta hurt! And then Triple H being sent off in an ambulance? I thought you were tough, but hell, you're not a McMahon, so what am I saying. And Triple H, tonight when you step inside of that ring with Shane, you're going to go back in that very same ambulance and back to the hospital, only for the doctors to tell you that your career is over!

*Heat*

Vince: Yeah, you heard me! Tonight, my son Shane is going to end Triple H's career!

*Heat and the crowd starts chanting Tri-ple-H! Tri-ple-H!

Vince: So you want Triple H, huh? Yeah, you want to see Triple H come out to this very ring right now?

*Pop*

Vince: Well he's not coming out here! And if he does...

"The Game" hits as the crowd goes into a frenzy. The game appears and they cheer even louder. His ribs are taped up.

JR: I don't think Triple H is out here for a cup of tea with the chairman.

King: Mr. McMahon better leave before Triple H hurts him!

Triple H and Vince stare at each other in the ring. Triple H looks vicious, as Vince looks intimidated.

Vince: You better back up before I get security to throw you out of the ring, hell, out of the arena!

There is a long pause before Triple H finally raises the microphone to his mouth

Triple H: I'm not here to punish you. I'm going to do that to Shane later tonight.

Vince: I don't think you are, because you see...

Triple H: Whoa whoa whoa, by the sounds of it, you want me to kick your ass right now. And I have no problem doing it.

*Pop*

Triple H closes in on Vince.

Vince: Back off! Get away from me! If you lay a finger on me, that's right, a finger, then you'll immediately be fired!

*Heat*

Triple H smirks

Triple H: Is that so? Is that so, Vince?

Vince: Don't push it!

Triple H: No, I'll push it as far as I want to push it! C'mon, Vince, I thought you had grapefruits, I thought you had balls, yet you won't even get in the ring and use 'em. Why don't you go one-on-one with me tonight, rather than making Shane do the dirty work for you? C'mon Vince, what's wrong?

Vince: You listen to me! You pushed it way to far and you're going to suffer from it! Tonight.....you'll be running...the gauntlet!

Vince's music plays as he leaves.

JR: Well you heard it, later tonight, Triple H will be forced to run the gauntlet forced by the chairman himself, Vince McMahon.

A promo is aired for the latest edition of the WWE Magazine.

Coach and William Regal are taking and Regal's office. Randy Orton comes in with his WWE Championship over his shoulder, looking cocky.

Regal: Ah, well if it isn't the WWE Champion, Randy Orton! What brings you here, Mr. Orton?

There is a pause

Orton: What brings me here, is the fact that later on tonight, Triple H will have to run the gauntlet. Now since he's running the gauntlet, he's going to need some opponents...

Coach: So you're saying that you want to be one of Triple H's opponents in the gauntlet?

Orton: Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying.

Coach: Well, Regal, it sounds good to me...

Regal: Hmmmm, I think I have an even better idea planned for you tonight. How about tonight, you team up with Carlito to take on the team of Shawn Michaels......and Chris Jericho!

*Pop*

Orton looks angry and then he leaves.

Closing Minutes: The match has been a great bout thus far and has lasted about six minutes. At this point in the match, Murdoch has Kendrick in a hold that is working on his shoulder. Kendrick eventually breaks free from it with a kick to the throat of Murdoch, and they both are trying to get the tag. Kendrick gets the tag, but Murdoch doesn't. London comes flying into the ring and takes down Murdoch with a right hand. He knocks Cade off the apron, and focuses back on Murdoch. London hits Murdoch with a dropkick and signals that he's all fired up. Cade comes in and goes for a clothesline, but London ducks. Cade turns around and receives a Super Kick and rolls underneath the ring. Back in the ring, London tags Kendrick back in. Murdoch gets up and Kendrick puts him in position for the Sliced Bread #2.
