JR:
We are live on Pay-Per-View, right from the famous Madison Square Garden in New York City for the WWE Royal Rumble!! I'm JR, Jim Ross, alongside the legendary, Jerry 'The King' Lawler, and King, you heard it, thirty men will do battle, but only one of them will headline the main event at WrestleMania 24!

King:
That's going to be amazing, but what about the WWE Championship match between Randy Orton and Chris Jericho!? This is Jericho's last shot at the title during Randy Orton's current title reign!

JR:
What a match that will be! But also here, calling the matches for SmackDown!.... Michael Cole and JBL!

**We go over to the SmackDown! announce table**

Cole:
Thanks, guys, and tonight, Batista will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against none-other than the Deadman, the Undertaker!

JBL:
And it's also the Royal Rumble Match! It's an opportunity for one superstar to dance with the lights on bright! I can hardly wait, Michael!

**2XTREME**

**The sound of Jeff Hardy's music causes the crowd to cheer like crazy. Hardy comes out onto the stage dressed in black pants, a black muscle shirt, a white belt, and a white piece of cloth hanging out of his back pocket. He also has arm bands on his forearms that are both coloured hot pink. Hardy does his usual actions before fireworks blast off of the stage**

Lilian:
The following contest is a Triple Threat Match......... and it is for the INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing the challengers, first, from Cameron, North Carolina, weighing 236 pounds..... JEFF... HARDY!!

JR:
The Rainbow Haired Warrior has a chance here tonight to regain his gold that he lost back at Armageddon, but it definitely won't be easy, as he will be going up against Bobby Lashley and the reigning champion, Mr. Kennedy.

King:
Jeff has quite a challenge in front of him tonight, but we've seen in the past that Jeff will put his body on the line and do whatever it takes to pick up the win.

**Jeff enters the ring and runs up onto the turnbuckle and taunts to the crowd, who love it**

JR:
We saw Jeff this past Monday Night on Raw chase after Mr. Kennedy, and eventually knocking him out with the Twist of Fate, but was then immediately speared by this man.

**DOMINATE**

**Bobby Lashley comes out into the entrance way, dressed in his usual black tights. Lashley spreads his arms out and points his fingers to the side as pyro blasts. He receives a loud pop from the crowd, and points at some of the crowd as well**

Lilian:
Making his way to the ring, from Colorado Springs, Colorado, weighing 273 pounds....BOBBY..... LASHLEY!!

JR:
This Bobby Lashley is a freak of nature, and I mean that in a good way. He has the perfect mix of strength and agility, and if he uses these to his advantage here tonight, he just may leave with the Intercontinental Championship around his waist.

King:
This Lashley is a power house, JR, but he's going to need more than strength if he wants the Intercontinental Championship!

**KENNEDY**

**Kennedy walks out and down the ramp to huge heat. He is wearing a pair of green tights with his logo on them. He has his Intercontinental Championship over his right shoulder, and raises it up before he gets into the ring**

Lilian:
And from Greenbay, Wisconsin, weighing 242 pounds, he is the INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION.....MMMISSSTEEER KENNNNEDDDDY!!!!

JR:
Well, you cannot blame Lilian Garcia for trying to do an impression of Mr. Kennedy, because this Kennedy is very picky about the way he's introduced, and he even introduces himself sometimes.

King:
You may think of Kennedy as just another loud mouth, JR, but he's the Intercontinental Champion, and that says something right there.

JR:
Kennedy is a loud mouth, but he's going to have to put his money where his mouth his here tonight to prove that he should be the Intercontinental Champion.

Match 1

Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship
Mr. Kennedy (c) vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Bobby Lashley

The bell echoes throughout Madison Square Garden for the first match, as all three wrestlers stand in the ring in a triangle formation, each representing the points of a triangle. They are all in crouched positions, staring through each other. They are all just itching to make the first move. Lashley finally decides to make the first move and charges at Jeff Hardy. Lashley takes him down to the mat with a thunderous right hand. Kennedy wants to get in the action and takes a few steps towards Lashley to try and gain an advantage. However, Lashley spots him in the corner of his eye, and side steps, hitting him with a hard left elbow, taking Kennedy down to the canvas.

Lashley moves back over to Hardy, who just got back up to his feet. Lashley takes a few running steps before knocking him down with a hard right clothesline. Lashley shakes the pins and needles out of his right arm before running over to Kennedy, who is now back on his feet. Lashley knocks him down with a hard shoulder tackle, and stands over Kennedy with a deadly look on his face.

Lashley picks up Jeff and grabs him by the throat, before viciously tossing him spine first into the far left corner. Lashley grabs the top ropes that are heading out of the corners, and then begins to kick Jeff in the stomach with his right, black boot. Lashley kicks him in the gut again, quickly followed by a kick to the sternum of the Rainbow Haired Warrior. Lashley sticks his black right boot up to Hardy's throat, and holds it there for close to six seconds. There's nothing the referee can do about this due to Triple Threat rules.

Suddenly, Kennedy comes up from behind and clubs Bobby Lashley in the upper back. Kennedy clubs him in the upper back again, before Lashley turns around to face KK. Kennedy kicks him in the gut, and Lashley gets down onto his left knee, but holds onto the ropes to balance himself. Kennedy begins to use his right fist and punches Lashley at the top of the head. Kennedy lines up Lashley, and then bounces off the opposite set of ring ropes. Kennedy runs over to where Lashley is, but isn't quick enough. Lashley counters and sends him flying over the top rope with a Big Back Body Drop, and Kennedy is quite close to landing on the concrete at the entrance ramp. Hardy comes running over to Lashley, but like Kennedy, he is sent flying over the top rope with. Lashley waits very impatiently inside of the squared circle, as his two opponents slowly rise to their feet on the outside of the ring. Lashley doesn't wait any longer, and bounces off of the ropes, before FLYING OVER THE TOP ROPE, TAKING BOTH JEFF HARDY AND MISTER KENNEDY DOWN!

Lashley helps Kennedy up to his feet, and then grabs him by the back of the neck with just one hand. Lashley pulls him over to the barricade and goes to bash Kennedy's skull off of it, much to the liking of the ringside crowd, but Kennedy has other plans, and puts his hands on the barricade to block it, just in the knick of time. Kennedy delivers a hard knee to the gut of Bobby Lashley, before bashing his face off of the barricade.

Jeff moves over to the barricade on a different side of the ring, and watches as Kennedy and Lashley exchange rights and lefts; back and forth. Jeff climbs up onto the barricade. The Enigma finds his balance before running along the barricade, and then JUMPING OFF AND TAKING DOWN BOTH LASHLEY AND KENNEDY WITH A PLANCHA! The crowd begins to chant for the Rainbow Haired Warrior. Jeff eats up the cheering from the crowd, and then lifts Kennedy up. Jeff pushes him onto the apron and back into the ring, before quickly following him in.

Hardy begins to stomp on Kennedy with his right foot. He first stomps on Kennedy's left arm, and then his forehead, and then the left side of his ribs. Kennedy shows some pain and agony on his face as he remains on the ground, hoping to catch a breather. The Enigma will not allow that, and picks Kennedy up. Jeff grabs KK by the left arm, and then sends him against the ropes. Kennedy bounces back and is nailed in the jaw with a beautiful standing dropkick delivered by Jeff Hardy. Jeff quickly races over to Kennedy and hooks his left leg, in the first pinfall of the matchup.

Kennedy manages to roll his left shoulder off of the mat just after the two count. Hardy doesn't seem too disappointed, and continues on the attack. He helps Kennedy to his feet, and then kicks him in the gut. Jeff goes for a Jaw Breaker, but Kennedy counters the move, and drops Jeff hard on his rear. Kennedy bounces off the ropes, and then hits a running knee to the face of
The Enigma, who is in a sitting position on the canvas. Kennedy decides not to cover Jeff, as he sees Lashley in the corner of his eye getting up on the outside of the ring. Kennedy bounces off the ropes and hits a Baseball Slide to the outside, knocking down Lashley once more. Kennedy begins to trash talk a downed Lashley, but soon pays for it, as Hardy capitalizes on Kennedy's lack of awareness, and quickly rolls him up.

Kennedy barely manages to escape from the pinning predicament. Kennedy gets frustrated and clubs Hardy in the back of the neck while he's getting up. Kennedy continues to club Jeff until Hardy is completely down on the mat. Jeff rolls over onto his back as Kennedy gets on top of Jeff in a mount position. Kennedy puts a scowl across his face before he hammers away with rights and lefts to the temple of Hardy. Jeff desperately tries to cover up from Kennedy's fists of fury. Kennedy then applies a Reverse Chin Lock to the Rainbow Haired Warrior, and is screaming at Jeff, telling him to give up and allow Kennedy to leave with the title.

Jeff continuously refuses to submit, and tries his hardest to fight out of the submission hold. With a bit of help from the New York crowd, Jeff slowly begins to fight out of the Reverse Chin Lock, and he eventually gets back up to a vertical base. Lashley comes back into the ring, and charges at Jeff and Kennedy. Jeff uses his quick reflexes to duck, but KK isn't so fortunate, and is nailed in the throat with a hard left handed clothesline from The Real Deal, causing Kennedy to lose his balance and fall to the mat.

Lashley picks up The Rainbow Haired Warrior, and grabs him by the left arm. The Former All-American whips Jeff against the ropes. Hardy bounces back at Lashley and is hit with a Big Back Body Drop, much to the crowd's liking. Lashley turns around to see an angry Kennedy charging at him, but Lashley is too quick for the up-start from Green Bay, and delivers a devastating Spinebuster, as Kennedy's expression shows the amount of pain he's in. Lashley wastes no time for the cover, and hooks both of Kennedy's legs for a bit of leverage.

Jeff dives on top of Bobby and manages to break up the pinfall at the last second with a Double Axe-Handle. Jeff slowly backs Lashley into the corner, and goes to whip him into the opposite corner, but is reversed. Jeff is headed to the other corner, but when he gets there, he runs up the turnbuckles, and then FLIES OFF OF THE TOP ROPE AND CONNECTS WITH THE WHISPER IN THE WIND! Despite what damage this did to Jeff, he uses all he's got left in the tank to crawl towards the cover on Lashley.

Lashley barely kicks out of the pinning attempt at two and a half. The crowd let's out a sigh, as they thought The Enigma had earned the victory and would walk away as the new Intercontinental Champion. Jeff looks disappointed that the Whisper in the Wind didn't get the victory, but he directs his attention back to The Real Deal, and lifts him up to his feet. Jeff kicks Lashley hard in the stomach with his left foot, before bouncing off of the ropes. The Enigma runs over at Lashley, but is caught, and Lashley uses his pure strength and power to deliver a thunderous Sit-Down Spinebuster, and goes right into the pinning attempt.

Kennedy breaks up the pinning attempt just in the knick of time with a hard club to the back of Lashley's rock solid head. Kennedy helps Lashley up to his feet, and then lifts him up, looking for a Suplex. Kennedy connects with a Vertical Suplex to the two hundred seventy-three pounder. Wisely, Lashley rolls underneath the bottom rope so that he can't be covered, but at the same time Jeff rolls Kennedy up, looking to steal the match.

Kennedy barely kicked out as the crowd let out a sigh. Both Jeff and Kennedy get back up to their feet, and The Rainbow Haired Warrior hits KK with a hard right hand shot to the face. Jeff hits him with another one, and the Green Bay Fighter backs into the corner. Jeff climbs up on him, and taunts to the crowd, who eat it up perfectly. The Enigma begins to punch away at Kennedy as the crowd counts in unison of the number of punches he's hit on KK. ONE.. TWO.. THREE.. FOUR.. FIVE.. SIX.. SEVEN.. EIGHT.. NINE.. TEN! Kennedy falls down in a sitting position, and Jeff uses the ropes to push himself off, and then nails Kennedy with a low dropkick to the sternum!

Before Jeff can do anything, Lashley grabs him by the foot and drags him to the outside of the ring. Lashley goes for a clothesline, but Jeff manages to duck. Lashley turns around to face Hardy, and Jeff kicks him in the gut with his right foot. Jeff goes for the TWIST OF FATE, but Lashley reverses it, and PUSHES HIM SKULL FIRST INTO THE STEEL RING POST!

Lashley rolls back into the ring as Kennedy begins to pound away at his head, while Bobby's still on one knee. KK knees Lashley right in the gut, and then sets him up for a DDT. However, Lashley refuses to budge, and then makes a beautiful counter as he lifts Kennedy over his shoulders and delivers a Northern Light Suplex, right into the pinning attempt.

Kennedy got out of the pinning predicament by using his leg strength and pushing himself back up in an arch position. Both men spin around and Lashley keeps his arms clasped around the waist of Ken. The Real Deal connects with a couple of knees to the gut of Kennedy, before lifting him up for a Powerbomb. While in mid-air, Kennedy punches away at Bobby's head, just trying to get out of the Powerbomb. Eventually, Lashley gives and Kennedy gets back down to the mat on both of his feet.

They back into the corner as Kennedy kicks The Real Deal hard in the stomach. Kennedy lifts him on his shoulders, and then ascends the turnbuckle, LOOKING FOR THE GREEN BAY PLUNGE! On the second turnbuckle, Lashley starts to fight hard with a couple of elbows to the right side of Ken's head. Eventually, Lashley gets off of Ken's shoulders, and Kennedy is sitting on the top rope, while Lashley is on the second turnbuckle, facing him. On the outside of the ring, Jeff grabs onto the ring apron, trying his best to get back up and into the ring.

Lashley hits a hard right hand shot to the face of Kennedy. Lashley then lifts Kennedy's arm over his shoulder, HOPING TO DELIVER A SUPERPLEX! Jeff rolls back into the ring and gets underneath Lashley, LOOKING FOR A POWERBOMB!. At the exact same time, LASHLEY DELIVERS A SUPERPLEX TO KENNEDY, WHILE HARDY DELIVERS A POWERBOMB TO LASHLEY, causing everyone to crash and burn, even Jeff, who used up all of his strength and energy to hit Lashley with that gruelling Powerbomb. **HOLY SHIT** chants slowly emerge from the crowd, as they applaud these three men's great in-ring work.

After about ten seconds or so, Jeff begins to get to his feet. Jeff first gets onto his left knee, and then gets to both of his feet, but holds the ropes for some leverage. Jeff looks at the crowd, and then goes through the middle and top rope onto the apron. Jeff slowly begins to climb the turnbuckle. The crowd rises to their feet as Jeff reaches the top, expecting the Swanton Bomb. Jeff taunts, but before he can go for the Swanton Bomb, Lashley comes running over and knocks him off to the outside. Ken begins to get up to his feet, as Lashley measures him. Kennedy turns around and BAM! LASHLEY CONNECTS WITH ONE OF THE MOST GRUELLING SPEARS HE'S EVER DONE!! Lashley covers Kennedy and hooks the far leg.

THREE!

WINNER AND NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION AT 11:06, BOBBY LASHLEY!

Lilian:
Here is your winner.... and the NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION.... BOBBY LASHLEY!

**Lashley slowly gets up as the referee hands him his newly won Intercontinental Championship. Lashley stares at it with his head down, before raising his head and holding the title in the air as the crowd cheers wildly for The Real Deal**

JR:
These three men gave us all that they had. They put it all on the line, and made tremendous sacrifices, but in the end, it was that man right there who was victorious and was crowned the new Intercontinental Champion.

King:
Wow, JR! I can't believe it! In our first match of the evening, we've got ourselves a new Intercontinental Champion!

**Lashley climbs up on the turnbuckle and holds the title in the air, before hopping down and exiting the ring. He heads up the ramp with his title tightly clutched in his right hand, as Jeff looks on in disappointment, and Kennedy looks on in anger**

JR:
What an accomplishment for that young man right there, Bobby Lashley, who is the new Intercontinental Champion!

**We cut to the backstage area to see an office with dark carpet and dark green wallpaper. It has Raw and SmackDown! neon signs on the wall. Raw General Manager William Regal and SmackDown! General Manager Vickie Guerrero are standing there, while Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle are standing beside the Royal Rumble Tumbler**

Candice:
Wow, Mr. Regal, that Triple Threat Match you made turned out to be even better than expected.

Regal:
I thou-

Vickie:
If you thought that match was good, just wait until the World Heavyweight Championship match later tonight, when Batista takes on the Undertaker. This match will be greatness!

**Before anybody can answer, MVP walks in, wearing a blue and silver 'power ranger' suit, with shades on and an 'MVP' necklace around his neck. The crowd gives him a large amount of heat**

Vickie:
Speaking of greatness, then we should be talking about SmackDown's own, MVP.

**MVP takes off his shades and looks at Vickie with a smile on his face**

MVP:
Of course I'm greatness, Vickie, you know that. I'm Montel Vontavious Porter... MVP... I stand for greatness... I am another meaning for greatness.

**Torrie and Candice look at him like he's a joke, as MVP gets a little more serious**

MVP:
You don't believe me? Well guess what girls, you will when I win the Royal Rumble Match tonight, and then go to WrestleMania and become the NEW, World.... Heavyweight... Champion!

**The crowd boos at the thought of MVP winning the Rumble and becoming the World Champion. Suddenly, Shawn Michaels walks in to a massive pop**

Regal:
Good luck with that Mr. Porter going up against this man, The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels!

Shawn:
If it isn't the former United States Champion himself, M..V..P. Well, that's all cute and all that your initials stand for Most Valuable Player, but c'mon, when it comes to Royal Rumble Matches, I'm the real MVP. I mean, let's go back to 1995.. the Heartbreak Kid entered the Royal Rumble at number one... I was nearly eliminated in the final two... but I came back, and won my first Royal Rumble Match! And wait, the next year, I was in the Royal Rumble Match again, and if I do recall, I won it... again, so for you to g-

MVP:
Look, I don't really care about that, because if I do recall, that happened over ten years ago. You're the past, and I'm the future. I am the true MVP of this business, and tonight, I'll prove it when I eliminate your ass!

**MVP and Shawn have a long stare-down, before Candice and Torrie begin to tumble the numbers. Shawn and MVP go over to the tumbler, as MVP reaches in and grabs his number. Immediately after MVP grabs his number, Shawn grabs his. They go a couple of feet away from each other, and pop open their numbers. MVP shows a look of frustration and disappointment as he curses, while Shawn smiles. Shawn looks over MVP's shoulder and reads MVP's number. MVP sees him, and spins around.**

MVP:
What the hell ma-

Shawn:
Nice number you got there. Good luck trying to eliminate my 'ass' with that number. See you out there, that is if you last long enough.

Shawn smiles before walking away, as MVP looks quite frustrated.

"Scars" begins to play throughout the arena as the fans wait for what's next.

King:
The Royal Rumble has been great, but it wouldn't have been if it wasn't for Papa Roach!

**The tron shows Papa Roach's CD, "Getting Away With Murder"**

JR:
A HUGE thanks goes out to Papa Roach for providing us with the song 'Scars' from their album 'Getting Away With Murder.'

King:
I'm gonna pick up that CD, JR!

JR:
Well, coming up next, folks, we will see two brutal rivals go head to head in a match, as Triple H will try to put away his rival once and for all, but this rival, is the Samoan Bulldozer.. Umaga!

King:
Let's take a look a couple of weeks ago and see what Umaga did to the game, JR.

**The tron shows us a clip from Raw two weeks ago, with Triple H facing Mr. McMahon in the gauntlet match**

JR:
Well Triple H had just defeated Umaga in the gauntlet match moments earlier... and was facing his final opponent, Mr. McMahon himself-

**We see Triple H setting Vince up for the Pedigree, but getting nailed with a kick**

JR:
And then BAM! Umaga took Triple H down with that kick, and then it was pure destruction from there on out.

**We see Umaga decimating Triple H, and then finally finishing him off with the Samoan Spike**

**SAMOAN BULLDOZER**

**Umaga walks out from the back and onto the stage, dressed in his usual black spandex pants, with the bottoms cut off a couple of inches. His logo is on the side in a dark blue colour, and he has a deadly look spread across his face. He is welcomed with a tremendous amount of heat**

Lilian:
The following contest is scheduled for one fall.... Introducing first.. from the Isle of Samoa, weighing 350 pounds... UUUUUUMMMAGGGGAAA!

JR:
You and I both heard the same thing, folks. This Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga, is 350 pounds, that's right, 350 pounds, which makes him nothing short of massive, and causes pure destruction whenever we see him inside the ring.

King:
I'm starting to think that Umaga is another word for destruction, JR! This Umaga is a savage, and he has destroyed several top superstars in the past!

**Umaga crosses his arms and smacks his shoulders, before smacking the steel ring steps with his hands. Umaga stares at the steps before climbing them. He walks along the apron, and grabs onto the top rope, before climbing into the ring.**

King:
I don't know JR.... After some of the beatings Triple H has gotten from that monster right there, I don't know if he has the advantage going into this matchup.

JR:
I don't think that really matters, King. I know very well that Triple H will come into this match, ready to give it his all, whether he wins or loses.

**IT'S TIME TO PLAY THE GAME**

...

**THE GAME**

**The crowd erupts into a frenzy at the sound of Triple H's music. The arena goes dark as colourful lights flicker throughout the building. The King of Kings eventually steps out onto the stage with his head down, water bottle in hand, and dressed in black tights. The crowd gives The Game an enormous ovation**

Lilian:
And his opponent... from Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing 265 pounds... THE GAME... TRIPPPPPPLLLLLEEEEE H!

JR:
The Game, The King of Kings, The Cerebral Assassin, Triple H has done it all in this business.. from becoming an Eleven Time World Champion... to winning the King of the Ring... and even winning the 2002 Royal Rumble Match, but tonight... he will try and finally put away Umaga, but Triple H is going to have to dig down deep to do just that.

King:
Triple H may be in for another hellacious beating here tonight, JR!

**Triple H climbs up onto the apron and then spits water up, as the crowd cheers at this regular action by The Game**

Match 2

Singles Match
Umaga vs. Triple H

As soon as Triple H steps into the ring, Umaga comes charging over and hits him in the head with a hard right knee. He obviously has not forgotten about losing to Triple H on Raw this past Monday during their tag team match. Triple H gets down to the canvas on just one knee, his right knee, and Umaga clubs him in the back of the neck, as Triple H sells his neck for a couple of seconds. Umaga grabs him by the back of the head, and yanks him up to both of his feet.

Umaga goes to hit Triple H with a right hand, but it's blocked, and the Cerebral Assassin hits a hard right hand shot of his own to Umaga, getting the crowd a little bit excited. Triple H nails Umaga with another right hand shot, followed by another right... another right... another right... and one more hard right hand shot. Umaga surprisingly drops down to both of his knees, as Triple H uses his taped right hand as a Machine Gun, unloading several right hand shots to the rock solid skull of Umaga.

Triple H finally stops punching Umaga as the crowd gives him a decent pop on his fighting efforts in the opening part of the bout. Triple H quickly swings his head up, swooshing all of the hair out of his eyes that may have been there. Triple H walks around a bit, shaking off some of the cobwebs, before directing his attention back to The Samoan Bulldozer. However, The Game's breather turned out to be a lengthy one, as when he turns around, he is nailed with a hard left handed clothesline from Umaga, taking The King of Kings down to the mat with a hard thud.

Umaga looks at the damage he has caused to The Game, and then grabs Triple H by his long hair, before viciously lifting Hunter to his feet. Umaga stares right into Hunter's brown eyes, before nailing him in the head with a hard headbutt, knocking him back down. Umaga stomps on Trips, before grabbing him by the left wrist, and slowly helping him back up to both of his feet.

The Samoan Bulldozer kicks Triple H in the stomach with his bare left foot, before grabbing Triple H by the wrist on his right arm. Umaga shoots Trips hard into the ropes, and Triple H comes running back towards the monster from The Isle of Samoa. Umaga goes for a right handed clothesline, but Triple H is fortunate and quick enough to duck, as he keeps on running, bouncing off the opposite set of ropes. Umaga turns around and ducks, looking for a high impact move, but Triple H acts quick, and nails Umaga with a Face Buster.

Umaga staggers, but he doesn't fall down to the mat, which shocks The Game. Triple H bounces off of the ropes, and then nails Umaga with a hard clothesline, which causes Umaga to stagger back near the ropes. Still in the middle of the ring, Triple H charges a couple of feet at Umaga, and takes him over the top rope to the outside with a hard right handed clothesline!

Triple H steps in between the middle and top rope out onto the apron. Trips hops down from the apron to the mats below on the outside, and then drills Umaga with a thunderous right hand. The referee is forced to start his countout ten count. ONE.. Umaga staggers from the thunderous right hand, and leans against the SmackDown! announce table. TWO... THREE.. Triple H drills him with another hard right hand shot, FOUR... before kicking him in the stomach with his right foot. Hunter then grabs Umaga by his braided hair, FIVE... and slams him face first onto the cover on top of the SmackDown! announce table. Umaga walks away towards the ring post, trying to shake off the pain that was just inflicted. SIX.... Triple H comes running up behind him, but Umaga somehow senses Hunter's presence, and quickly side steps, moving out of the way. Triple H goes shoulder first into the Steel Ring Post, and lets out a scream of pain, while selling his shoulder. SEVEN...

Umaga surveys his opponent, before stomping right on the injured left shoulder of The Game. Umaga forcefully grabs him by the back of the neck, and then slowly helps The Cerebral Assassin back up to both of his feet. Umaga pushes Trips up onto the apron, EIGHT.... and then underneath the bottom rope into the ring. Umaga soon follows, and watches as The Game crawls towards the ring ropes, hoping to use them to get back to his feet. Umaga comes up from behind him, and drills him in the top of the head with a hard right hand shot... hard right hand shot.... hard right hand shot. Triple H remains on one knee, as Umaga runs off of the ropes, and then nails Triple H in the shoulder with a hard left knee. Triple H's face shows a look of pain and agony, as Umaga gets into the lateral press, with a forearm pressed tightly against Hunter's face.

The King of Kings rolls his injured shoulder off of the canvas at the referee's two count, which does a bit of damage to the shoulder. Before Triple H can move around anywhere on the mat, Umaga is on top of him in a mount position, and begins to pummel The Cerebral Assassin with hard shots as if he was yesterday's news. A right.... a left... a right... a left... a right. Umaga looks up to the crowd, and then looks around the arena as he gets up. He receives a large amount of heat from the great New York fans, who are strongly pulling for The King of Kings in this match-up. Umaga stomps on Triple H's shoulder with his bare right foot, and then stomps on it again. Umaga gets down to his knees, and locks in a painful hold to Trips shoulder, as The Game screams in agony.

Umaga sticks out his large tongue and puts an evil, sadistic look on his face, showing that he wants to demolish and punish The Game, as if he already hasn't done so during the contest. Triple H continues to show us that he is in pain, and desperately needs to get a rope break if he wants to continue the match. Triple H starts to shift his body weight a little bit, and soon, his expression changes and we can see that he is fighting hard. The crowd slowly begins to clap, trying to help Triple H as much as they can. Trips manages to use his strength and power to push himself up. He gets up onto one foot, and then both feet, as the crowd cheers for The Game. Hunter eventually hits a hard left elbow to the gut of the Samoan Bulldozer, and then hits another. Triple H runs off of the ropes, and comes charging back, but Umaga is too quick for The King of Kings, and connects with a high impact Samoan Drop. The crowd boos as Umaga slowly covers Triple H, sensing the victory.

Triple H manages to get his right shoulder off of the mat just before the three count, and the crowd cheers. Umaga shows a look of anger, and then rips out some strands of hair in his head. Umaga gets back up, and then shoves Triple H more towards the center of the ring with his foot. He then looks at Trips, and then the crowd, before heading into the corner. Umaga turns around, facing the downed Game, before hopping up onto the second turnbuckle. Umaga gets into a straight position, and spreads his arm out while letting out a deadly scream. Umaga jumps off the second turnbuckle, LOOKING FOR A DIVING HEADBUTT, BUT TRIPLE H MOVES OUT OF THE WAY, causing Umaga to go face first into the mat below.

The crowd cheers at Hunter's fast reflexes, as both Umaga and Trips lay motionless in the center of the ring. The referee checks both men, before beginning his double knockout ten count. ONE.... TWO.... THREE.... FOUR.... Umaga begins to move, as does Triple H. FIVE.... SIX.... Umaga grabs the ropes, hoping to get up, as The King of Kings tries to get up by using his upper body strength. SEVEN.... Umaga gets to his feet, as does Triple H right after him. Umaga goes for a right hand shot, but Hunter blocks, and hits a thunderous right hand of his own. Trips follows it up with another one, and then another one. Triple H measures Umaga, and then bounces off the ropes and charges at Umaga, but is levelled with a hard uppercut, taking The Cerebral Assassin down.

Instead of going for the cover, or even picking The Game up, Umaga moves to the other side of the ring, and then waits for Triple H to rise to his feet. Triple H begins to get up, facing away from Umaga. Triple H eventually gets up to his feet by using the ropes in the corner to get him up, and turns around. Umaga comes sprinting over, LOOKING FOR THE SPINNING HEEL KICK, but Triple H ducks, and Umaga lands hard on the canvas. In a bit of pain, Umaga slowly gets back up. Umaga gets up, facing away from Triple H, who does a 'DX' crotch chop to Umaga, and gets a loud pop. Umaga turns around, and Triple H kicks him in the gut, AND SETS HIM UP FOR THE PEDIGREE!! But Umaga counters, grabbing Triple H by the legs, and then slingshotting him into the corner, as Triple H's face hits hard off of the top turnbuckle.

The effect of hitting the turnbuckle causes Triple H to fall down in a slump in the corner. He slumps down into a sitting position, and looks lifeless. Umaga stares at him, and then heads over to the opposite corner from The Cerebral Assassin. A few people in the crowd let out a couple of gasps as they can sense what move is coming next. Umaga shows a monster like look, and bounces up and down in the corner, ready to inflict some serious pain. Umaga sprints towards the corner that Triple H is sitting in, but Triple H quickly gets up and meets Umaga at his feet near the center of the ring, and delivers a DOUBLE A SPINEBUSTER! The crowd lets out a gigantic pop as Triple H hooks Umaga's leg, hoping to score the victory.

Trips grabs him by his left arm, and then goes to whip him to the opposite corner, but is reversed, and it's The King of Kings who goes into the opposite corner. Umaga sticks his taped up thumb out, and signals that the Samoan Spike is coming. Umaga begins to throw an enormous, uncontrollable temper. He yells and screams at the referee, and then he NAILS THE REFEREE WITH THE SAMOAN SPIKE! The crowd boos heavily as JR and King comment on Umaga's poor sportsmanship. Umaga looks back over at The Game, before quickly heading to the outside area of the ring. Umaga goes completely crazy on the outside, hitting everything in sight, such as the apron, the Raw announce table, and the barricade. Umaga violently shoves Lilian Garcia out of her seat, and takes the Steel Chair, folds it, and then tosses it into the ring.

Umaga climbs up onto the apron, and he slow gets back into the squared circle. Umaga walks over to where the chair is, and then picks it up with both of his hands, ready to do some heavy damage. He looks at the Steel Chair, and then at The Cerebral Assassin, who is now slowly getting back up to his feet. Triple H eventually gets back up, and Umaga GOES FOR A STEEL CHAIR SHOT, but Triple H drops down to his knees, and connects WITH A LOW BLOW! The crowd cheers as Umaga's expression tells just how much pain he is really in. Umaga drops the chair, and then staggers a bit. Triple H grabs the chair, and NAILS UMAGA OVER THE HEAD WITH IT! The crowd cheers, as Triple H stares at the chair, and then slams it down.

Triple H heads to the outside of the ring, and looks at the crowd, who are cheering for The King of Kings. Triple H flips the apron covering up, looks underneath the ring.... AND PULLS OUT THE SLEDGEHAMMER!! The crowd goes insane, as Triple H stares at The Equalizer, before re-entering the ring with his trusty hammer in hand. Triple H begins to measure Umaga, who is slowly getting up. Umaga gets up facing away from The Game, and then turns around...TO RECEIVE A SLEDGEHAMMER SHOT TO THE RIBS!! Umaga bends over from the pain, as Triple H NAILS HIM OVER THE HEAD WITH THE DAMN SLEDGEHAMMER!!! Umaga falls down to the ground, as Triple H lifts him back up. Match 3

World Heavyweight Championship
Batista(c) vs. The Undertaker

The ring bell 'dings' three times, signalling that the contest is now officially underway. Batista and Undertaker stand in their corners respectively, and they both look like they're willing to do anything to win the match and leave as World Heavyweight Champion. They both slowly move towards the center of the ring, and then tie things up in a collar to elbow tie up. Batista gains the all important leverage advantage, and slowly begins to back Undertaker back into the corner he started in.

Batista backs Undertaker into the corner, and the referee starts his disqualification five count. ONE... TWO... THREE... Batista breaks the tie up at the ref's three count, and slowly backs up into the middle of the ring. Batista and Undertaker exchange a heated staredown, before locking back up in a collar to elbow tie up. This time, Undertaker shoves Batista spine first down to the ground, but Batista quickly gets back up to his feet, and they stare at each other once more.

Both The Animal and The Phenom walk to the center of the ring, and get right up in each other's faces. Batista decides to go a different path, and hits Undertaker with a slap! There is a gasp from the crowd, as The Undertaker looks infuriated. Taker swings at Batista, looking for a right hand, but The Beast ducks, and then hits Undertaker with a hard right hand shot of his own. Batista hits him with another right hand shot, and then kicks Undertaker in the stomach with his right boot.

Batista grabs Taker by his wrist on his left arm, and goes to Irish Whip him into the opposite corner, but is reversed, and it is 'Tista who goes into the other corner. Immediately following this, Undertaker charges at Batista and nails him with a hard clothesline in the corner. Taker walks back to the opposite corner, and charges at Batista again, hitting another clothesline. A drowsy and somewhat hurt Batista slowly walks out of the corner unsteadily, and Undertaker lifts him on his shoulders. People cheer because they think Undertaker is going for the Tombstone Piledriver, but Taker has different plans, and delivers the Snake Eyes! Taker then bounces off the far ropes, and runs back at Batista, taking him down with a Running Boot to the skull of Batista. Undertaker covers him in the first pinning attempt of the contest.

Undertaker goes to level him with a right handed shot, but Batista blocks, and hits a right handed shot of his own.... followed by a right hand shot... right hand shot... and one more right hand shot. Batista grabs Taker by the back of the head, and then pulls him towards one of the corners.

Batista goes to bash Undertaker's skull against the top turnbuckle, but Undertaker sticks his foot up, which blocks the move. Taker then elbows Batista in the gut with his left elbow, and then bashes Batista's skull off the top turnbuckle. Batista slumps back in the corner a bit, and Undertaker begins to unload a fury on him... left hand shot.... right hand shot.... left hand shot.... right hand shot.... left hand shot.... and finishes things off with a hard right hand shot to Batista's ribs.

Taker grabs Batista by his left wrist, and then shoots him into the opposite corner. Undertaker follows and charges at The Unleashed Beast, and goes for a running boot, but Batista ducks at the last second, and Undertaker's leg goes over the top rope, soon followed by the rest of his body. Undertaker's left hip hits the apron, and then he falls down to the mats below on the outside with a loud thud. Inside of the ring, Batista wants to go out, but the referee is restraining him, telling him that he has to start the countout ten count, which he does.

ONE.... TWO.... Batista exits the ring on one of the sides, and then walks over to where the Undertaker is getting up. The referee yells at Batista, but he doesn't seem to care. The referee is yelling at them to bring it back inside the ring at the same time Batista drills Undertaker with a right hand near the barricade. Batista drills him with another one, and then looks at the referee. THREE.... Batista backs up a bit, and then walks back over to the Undertaker, but Taker acts quickly by putting his left shoulder into Batista's ribs, and then sending Batista spine first into the ring apron.

FOUR... Undertaker precisely measures Batista, and then drills him with a right hand to the forehead. Batista staggers back a bit, and Undertaker keeps his attention focussed on him. FIVE... Undertaker grabs Batista by his left arm, and then goes to Irish Whip him into the steel steps, but is reversed, and it's Taker who goes into the steel steps. He goes in so hard that he flips right over them, and there is a loud crashing noise. SIX.... Batista's ego takes over him, as instead of re-entering the ring and getting the countout victory, he picks Taker up, and tosses him back into the ring, before quickly following. Undertaker rolls towards the center of the ring, as Batista follows him, and then covers him.

Undertaker and Batista slowly begin to rise to their feet. They move towards each other, and Undertaker connects with a boot to the gut of Batista. Undertaker then grabs 'Tista's left arm, and twists it around, causing Batista to scream in pain. The Phenom heads over to the corner, and then begins to ascend the turnbuckle, as the crowd yells "OLD SCHOOL!" Undertaker balances himself on the top rope, hoping to GO FOR OLD SCHOOL, but Batista counter, and crotches Undertaker on the top rope.

Batista backs up a bit, and bends over, catching a breather and shaking out the cobwebs. Undertaker slowly falls off the top rope, and lands on the canvas, holding his crotch in pain. Batista heads over to him, and then stomps on his ribs with his right foot. Batista grabs Taker by the back of his head, and helps him up to his feet. Batista backs Undertaker into the ropes, and then shoots him into the opposite set of ropes, Undertaker comes back running, and before Batista can do anything, Taker hits a flying clothesline and takes Batista down to a decent enough pop.

Undertaker swooshes the hair out of his eyes, and limps a bit, before focussing back on Batista. WINNER AND STILL WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION AT 15:37, BATISTA!

Tony: Here is your winner.. AND STILL WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION... BAATTTTIIIISSSTTAA!!!

**The crowd divides and a mixed reaction is sent throughout Madison Square Garden. The referee hands Batista his World Title, who holds it over a downed Undertaker, before exiting out of the ring and up the ramp**

Cole:
Batista has done it! Batista has defeated The Undertaker here tonight at the Royal Rumble, and he is still the World Heavyweight Champion!

JBL:
I can't believe it, Michael! Batista put The Undertaker away, which may have been forever!

**We cut to the backstage area to see Jeff Hardy in the locker room, looking somewhat hurt. The United States Champion Matt Hardy walks in, and gets a decent pop**

Matt:
Hey man, now I know that you didn't win the Intercontinental Championship out there, but trust me, all of these people know that deep down in your heart, you're a champion.

**Jeff sort of shrugs his shoulders**

Matt:
I mean, you put it all on the line out there, and as long as you do that, these people are happy, whether you win or lose.

**Before they can say anything else, John Morrison and Carlito come strolling in**

John:
Whoa whoa whoa, Matt.... now I know that you said whether you win or lose, but let's face it, Jeff is a loser, just like you Matt, which mea-

Matt:
Jeff's a loser? I'm a loser!? Well in case you didn't notice, I'm the United States Champion, so i-

John:
I'm not taking that away from you, but I mean, c'mon, Matt, you just got demolished by Big Daddy V... not once, but twice! What do you gotta say about that, ‘champ’?

**Matt looks at him in disgust**

John:
If you want to talk about winners, then why don't you talk about Carlito over here. Let's see, on his first match on Raw, he became the new Intercontinental Champion. And I have a similar story, because in my first match on SmackDown!, I became one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions.

Carlito:
You guys... you guys are not cool. John and I... we are the new faction of the WWE. You guys, you 'Hardyz' are the past, and it's about time... you got over it.

**Both teams have a heated exchange, before Carlito and Morrison leave the locker room.
