Jamie1 Presents The Rock Rulez with a Smackdown Review
JBL’s little short promo/segment was OK but JBL calling Rey Mysterio the charity case once was enough in two short sentences but he said it twice… Chavo against Rey has some history. Would be a good way to open Smackdown IRL
The match was a good recap, Glad to see Chavo jobbing for Mysterio although I like Chavo a lot
JBL once again calling Mysterio a charity case… atleast, it wasn’t only me who noticed this, Mysterio also told him that he repeats it all the time…. The promo was good especially when we heard the match is going to be a Loser leaves the WWE match… I really don’t know who is going to lose this match anymore… Rey Mysterio is just great to have in the company… and JBL, is not only the wrestling god but he is also the absolute best heel in the world of wrestling today… by the way, great way to announce the next match which should also be good
This was a decent match. Better than the first and some real good booking by making JBL lose due to DQ… I also loved him walking up the ramp and then giving out that smile and the grin… awesome
The interview with Batista was decent and that’s about it.. Although I couldn’t see anything wrong with it… it just didn’t give me anything to make me say.. Wow.. But am sure that’s not what you were trying to do. So decent J!
Didn’t enjoy the Matt Striker promo at all. I am sorry but I just didn’t… I didn’t think anything about it was good, it was just to… I don’t even know but it just wasn’t good.. The characters were done poor and the way they just took it that Matt Hardy had left. Pffffft L Anyway we will move on because that is the first disappointment so far.
Shannon Moore. I forgot about this guy, anyway I like him and CM Punk in this match, should be good… Oh! I loved the ending of this match, I love it when you are able to get two superstars into good feuds who are in a match with each other… Shannon Moore, will he win the money in the bank? I don’t think so but I think he could have a huge spot in the match… I hope!
MVP, Edge and the other guys promo was nice, a nice filler.., not a good way to be going into their match for MVP and Edge.. Since this is my first time reviewing your show… I am not sure but I don’t think MVP and Edge are faces or Deuce and Domino… are they?
Next match was no surprise to see who the winner was….. Deuce and Domino I think will go onto win the tag championships because MVP and Edge are to huge stars for the WWE Tag Championships
Eh…. CM Punk got the match rather easily, did not like this… and then Finlay cutting an interview straight after.. Also not good but don’t worry, only the second thing in the show I haven’t agreed with!
Once again in my opinion no surprise that Edge and MVP lost the tag titles but to Batista and The Big Show… I can only imagine, you don’t have anything planned for these two or you are planning to get the titles back to the recognition it deserves, like it was in the attitude era
Overall: It was a good show despite some things I have already told you about…. And the Wrestlemania card is looking very strong.. DH6 and you have a very good BTB here. Keep it up!
1st Promo: Not really much of a promo, but JBL calling Rey a charity case twice was unnecessary. Also, there were many spelling and grammar mistakes scattered throughout the opening. What you did right though is make Rey’s opponent Chavo. Good choice there.
1st Match: To be honest, I’m not all that good at reviewing matches. All I know is that it was a good decision on having Rey win.
2nd Promo: Not much to say, but I like the idea of having Rey face JBL in a Your Fired match. The spelling and grammar here was fine unlike the beginning.
2nd Match: I like how you had JBL cheat during the match; it is something he would do. But, he should have won by cheating instead of being DQ’ed, but that’s just my opinion.
3rd Promo: Pretty short but still good. I’m honestly hoping that Batista doesn’t win his title back. I personally prefer having MVP as the World Heavyweight Champion.
4th Promo: I don’t really get why Teddy just told them they were teaming up and not who their opponents are. Not much more to say.
3rd Match: Good idea having Finlay coming out and stopping Punk from entering the MITB, but why put Shannon Moore, of all people, in? Anyways, I see a Finlay and Punk rivalry coming.
5th Promo: Okay promo, it didn’t seem like Edge was in character all that much though. There were also a few spelling mistakes.
4th Match: I’m glad you made Deuce and Domino win, I’m not a fan of Jesse and Festus.
6th Promo: Well, I called it. Finlay versus CM Punk at Wrestlemani, excellent booking there. I’m looking forward to that match.
Main Event: Pretty action packed and entertaining final match. Now that Batista and Big Show have the Tag Team Titles, I’m pretty sure that MVP or Edge is going to win the match at Wrestlemania for the World Heavyweight Championship. I’m looking forward to next week.
Overall: I really enjoyed reading your show. There were a few spelling and grammar mistakes but it didn’t ruin the show. Your promos are a little short but you’ll get better. You’ve got many awesome Smackdown matches for Wrestlemania and I can’t wait to read them. Keep up the good work!
Both WrestleMania and Saturday Night's Main Event are shaping into spectacles, but there's always room for warfare on Monday Night Raw as the event that steals Monday Nights will make a stop in Omaha, Nebraska.
Last week the sports entertainment world was shocked and amazed to find out that Shawn Michaels will defend his WWE Championship on the grandest stage of 'em all against none-other than the man who is undefeated at WrestleMania, the Undertaker. Both men seem to thrive off of championship gold, as well as WrestleMania. Will the two have another face off this week? What will Shawn Michaels have to say about defending his WWE Championship against the Undertaker?
Last week also saw another shocking event take place as Randy Orton viciously beat down William Regal after Regal refused to ban Steve Austin from the WWE until WrestleMania. Orton's attack has put William Regal out of commission, and if Orton isn't stopped, Regal may not be the only victim. This week, however, Randy Orton will explain his attack from last week. What possible excuse could The Legend Killer have?
Mr. Kennedy was told by his own father if we wanted to go to WrestleMania, he had to earn it. Kennedy did just that by costing Triple H the WWE Championship last week. Triple H won't be at Raw this week, but you can be sure he won't have forgotten what Kennedy did. What else might Kennedy do to guarantee a spot at the grandest stage of 'em all?
Also this week on Raw, we will see a Money in the Bank Battle Royal, and appearances from some of the finest athletes in the world. Tune in to see all of the action this Monday Night on the USA Channel at 9/8 CT.
***
I know that the Raw Preview is up quickly, but we're trying to move through the shows and get to SNME, and then eventually WrestleMania. Raw will be up before my Spring Break is over, which means Sunday at the very latest.

Re: WWE: A New Year Revolution
As I've told you, Shawn Michaels taking on The Undertaker at Wrestemania for the WWE Championship is off the charts. I'm really looking forward to that match. Also looking forward to seeing the confrontation between these two tonight. I can see Undertaker using his mind games.
The whole Orton situation is looking good. It will be interesting to hear his thoughts on the vicious attack last week.
Overall I'm really looking forward to Raw, and I'm also looking forward to Wrestlemania. Best of luck.

And don't you think a wrestling ring is a little old school, Lilian? Why not put the match in a shark tank, with real live sharks? Hungry sharks! And the only way to beat your opponent is to stuff him down a shark's throat, and pin the shark. Wouldn't that be a hoot?"

Re: WWE: A New Year Revolution
Nige’s Smackdown Feedback
Rey & Chavo was an entertaining way to start the show off. Rey picking up the win was the predictable outcome and the correct one, good match and a decent promo to follow. JBL sounded good but I think the not being worthy comments of being in the WWE were fine, I just wouldn’t have had Rey make the challenge, and just let Teddy announce it
JBL’s match that followed was pretty good actually, considering the two men it. I disagree with the decision to have JBL get DQ’d as he doesn’t look strong as he feels the need to get DQ’d against someone like Dreamer. He should be beating guys like that easily, but a beat down afterwards might have showed him to be the great heel that he is as only Dreamer benefits from this decision
Batista’s interview was actually very good despite the angle that you’re running. I don’t like big stars being involved in the tag team titles picture, let alone four stars who will all meet soon at Mania for the World Title. I know the tag team division is weak on Smackdown, I just think there are better ways of building up the title match at Mania than using the tag titles. A steel cage match is huge though with these four men
Matt Striker/Teddy Long promo was a little short and not too much happened. Here is an example of a team that you could push on Smackdown, don’t know who they’ll be facing next week
Shannon Moore in the Money in the Bank match at CM Punk’s expense? Wow, that is a big decision. I see Shannon Moore as a talented guy for sure but he’s never going to get over on WWE, nice that you’re trying, but I don’t see him as anything beyond a Cruiserweight Champion at best. At least you had Punk lose in a dubious manner that will set up a match with Finlay maybe at Mania which is only a good thing
Edge/MVP/Deuce & Domino promo was okay, but here’s another team who could challenge for the tag titles. Teasing a match between them next week for the titles maybe, but I would be shocked if Deuce & Domino don’t get the title shot next week now after this. A title change would be best there. The match was good, Deuce & Domino looked strong for sure and were deserved winners. Heel vs heels next week for the titles. I see the title changing next week, so they shouldn’t really change tonight seeing Edge & MVP won’t have been champions for long either. Titles changing hands all the time isn’t good to see as shows them not a lot of respect
These two promos were fairly weak. Punk’s was short and a bit generic, but showing his character well by demanding a match. Liking the idea of these two together at Mania, but I don’t understand how Josh Matthews would know about the match straight away with no commercial break and ask Finlay about the match that Teddy just a couple of seconds ago made. You should have split the two promos up with a commercial or had Punk’s promo before the previous match up
Tag Title match was exciting as expected, but I was really shocked that the titles switched again, like a game of pass the parcel with the title belts. It doesn’t really do much for the build up to Mania with the titles involved and no turn from either side
Overall, some of the booking definitely needs work. The matches are very good, but the promos are short and need some work. JBL should have beat Dreamer or beat the hell out of him and the tag titles situation is something that I really didn’t like. The Josh physic powers too sticks out
Smackdown Analysis Mysterio vs Guerrero: I needed to have this first, since I had a lot in this edition of Smackdown, Chavo Guerrero for Rey’s opponent was golden imo, since they have such a history. Rey needed to win, for build to WrestleMania.
Rey/JBL Promo: First off, I’m not very good at promos, as much of you know. I have been planning this match since Royal Rumble. I was going to make it a “I Quit” match, but decided not to. Loser leaves the WWE is still pretty good imo. And Dreamer for JBL’s opponent was something I didn’t really want to do, but I did do it.
JBL vs Dreamer: I needed a way for both men to look strong, since Dreamer is in the Money in the Bank. JBL getting disqualified was one of the only ways to do it.
Batista Promo: I needed to show you all, that Batista was on the same page, but wanted to know if Big Show was on the same page. Batista wanted revenge.
Daddy V Promo: Needed to get this men in action, and Daddy V wanting Hardy is pretty good to me, but maybe I did go a little over load with this promo.
MITB Qualifier: I wanted Punk to be in the MITB match, but I needed one more feud for WrestleMania. So, I decided to have Punk and Finlay have a match, with Finlay costing Punk the match. Shannon Moore is in the money in the bank. Deal with it. He will most likely have a good role in it with some good high flying moves.
Edge/MVP/Deuce and Domino promo: Needed to get across, that MVP and Edge were on the same page tonight. Deuce and Domino saying that they will win was just a way to get MVP and Edge ready and pumped.
Deuce and Domino vs Jesse and Festus: Deuce and Domino winning is something that had to happen. The tag title situation will end next week, after the match between Batista and Big Show vs Deuce and Domino.
Punk Promo: I had to get this match announced for WrestleMania, so the build up for it can start. He did get the match easily, but it had to happen.
Finlay Promo: Some people where confused with Josh Matthews physic powers, but there was supposed to be a commercial break, just an accident. Finlay explained his reasons for costing Punk the match.
Cage Match: This match is big, considering it is the Smackdown WrestleMania Main event inside a steel cage. Batista and Big Show winning the titles might not go over right with some people, but it will in the long run..well maybe.
A video package plays highlighting the WWE Championship match from last week between Shawn Michaels and Triple H. We see just how good the match was as the video package shows the biggest and most intense moments of the match. We then see how Triple H hits the Pedigree on Shawn Michaels, but Mr. Kennedy runs down to the ring and starts to pound away at Triple H; causing the disqualification. We then see Triple H fight back and the two of them disappearing out of site below the stage. We hear Lilian Garcia announce that Shawn Michaels is still the WWE Champion, but then the 'Gong' goes off. It's followed up with the Undertaker walking down to the ring, and then shooting the ring down with lighting bolts. We fade out.
Raw's opening credits played, which are followed up by **To Be Loved** With the lights pitch black, multi-coloured fireworks blast from the set and stage for about ten seconds. Following this, the lights come on and the camera pans around the Qwest Center Arena to see thousands of WWE fans ready to watch Monday Night Raw.
Jim Ross: The Road to WrestleMania continues as we stop at the sold out Qwest Center Arena in Omaha, Nebraska to present to you Monday Night Raw!! And of course, ****ed by my side if my broadcast colleague, Jerry 'The King' Lawler.
Jerry Lawler: Thanks, JR, and I don't know how much more live Raw can get when you have fans as excited as these Omaha fans are!
Jim Ross: They're excited alright, but who can blame them, because tonight, Randy Orton will explain his actions from last week on William Regal, and I'm extremely eager to see what excuses The Legend Killer can come up with.
Jerry Lawler: Not only that, JR, but later tonight, we will see a 10-Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal, and the winner will qualify for the Money in the Bank Match at WrestleMania!
Jim Ross: All of that and more, right here tonight on Monday Night Raw!
**No Chance** Heat begins to pour down from the rafters as the egotistical chairmen himself, Mr. McMahon, comes out from behind the curtain and stops on the stage. Vince is walking in his usual strut, but it's not as enthusiastic as it usually is. Vince eventually gets in the ring with a stern look on his face as Lilian Garcia hands him the microphone and exits.
Jim Ross: Quite a way to kick off the live action here tonight with the man in charge of it all, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, and as reported earlier in the week on wwe.com, Mr. McMahon would fill us in on the current General Manager situation after what took place last week.
Jerry Lawler: What happened last week... well, what happened last week was so awful I don't even want to think about it. I don't mind that Randy Orton doesn't like Steve Austin, but to do what he did to our own General Manager... gosh.
Vince McMahon: Now usually, I walk out here from behind that curtain, smile at each and every one of you, walk down that aisle (gestures to the ramp) and enter the ring, only for all of you people to laugh at me, mimic me, and well, boo me.
There is a small pop from the crowd, but the rest of the crowd keep listening to what the chairmen might have to say.
Vince McMahon: But y'see, tonight's different. Tonight is not about laughing, mimicking, and whatever else pleases you people. Tonight.... (Vince stutters a bit, trying to spit it out) tonight.... tonight is about what happened to William Regal.
There is hardly any reaction as most people are seeing in their minds what went down last week.
Vince McMahon: What happened to Mister Regal last week.... (Vince puts his head down and shakes it a bit) .... it just wasn't right to see something like that happen. It just wasn't right, and I'm ashamed to say that a WWE Superstar, my own WWE Superstar did such a thing.
Vince looks up and shakes his head once more.
Vince McMahon: Unfortunately, Mister Regal wasn't exactly prepared for that attack, and I'm sorry to say that he will no longer be able to fulfill his duties as the General Manager as Monday Night Raw.
There is a small amount of heat from the crowd, but most of the crowd remain silent.
Vince McMahon: (more of a lighter tone) But, as you know, this is the WWE, and when it comes to this industry, the saying I often refer to time and time again.. the show must go on.
There is a solid pop from the crowd, knowing that they will be witnessing a great show tonight.
Vince McMahon: The show must go on, as well as the position of General Manager of Raw. That of course means that Raw needs a new General Manager, whether anybody likes it or not. This show will continue, and I'm gonna make sure of it.
Another good pop is heard from the amped up fans.
Vince McMahon: So this past week, immediately, that's right, immediately, after I finished finding a number one contender for the WWE Championship, who of course is the Undertaker...
Vince is drowned out by a thunderous pop, which nearly shakes the whole building.
Vince McMahon: ... I had to find a new General Manager. However, I'll admit, it wasn't very hard to find a new General Manager, especially since she was right underneath my nose. So without further ado, the NEW General Manager of Monday Night Raw...... Stephanie McMahon!!
**All Grown Up** A mixed reaction engulfs the Qwest Center Arena as Daddy's Little Girl herself, Stephanie McMahon, walks out from behind the set dressed in a sharp looking suit and high heels. Stephanie lightly chews on some gum as she proceeds down the ramp with a smile on her face. Stephanie walks up onto the apron, and enters the ring through the bottom rope as her father holds it down for her. Stephanie is handed a microphone from ringside, but keeps her smile on from cheek to cheek.
Vince McMahon: Now Stephanie, you do know why I chose you as General Manager, right?
Stephanie McMahon: Well, dad, I thought I had a pretty good idea, but to tell you the truth, I don't.
Vince looks at her with a surprised and questionable look
Stephanie McMahon: I mean, the obvious guess is that you chose me because I'm your daughter, and if that's the reason, then I'll quit this job right now.
Vince looks a little angry, but surprised once again as he shakes his head and mouths the word 'no'
Stephanie McMahon: Well, that's always good to hear, but, what I'm dying to know is, why did you pick me for General Manager?
Vince looks as if he has to think as Stephanie just shrugs her shoulder with sort of a smart look on her face
Vince McMahon: (having troubles getting his words out) Well.. you're definitely qualified for the job, I mean, y-you... you've been General Manag-
Stephanie McMahon: You don't sound too confident, dad. Is something the matter? Believe me, I know I'm qualified for this job. I knew that from the second you asked me, because I'm a McMahon. We are made to be in charge, but why me, dad, why me?
Again, Vince looks awfully puzzled as he realizes his daughter is getting at something
Stephanie McMahon: I mean, let's face it dad, ever since you found out that Mr. Kennedy was your bastard son, you've been all over him like a child.
Vince McMahon: Now c'mon, Stephanie, y-
Stephanie McMahon: No, I don't want to listen to you make another lame excuse, and quite frankly, neither do any of these people.
There is a great pop for the boss's daughter as she stares a hole through her own father
Stephanie McMahon: You have been all over Kennedy like he's still a child. It seems as if day in and day out you're giving him all of your attention, and quite frankly I'm sick of it.
Stephanie continues to stare at her father, who looks guilty
Stephanie McMahon: So tell me dad, why didn't you pick Kennedy for this job, huh? Is it because he's even too good for the spot of General Manager?!
Stephanie looks as if she's ready to strike her own father, but suddenly.. **Sexy Boy** The WWE Champion, Shawn Michaels, enters into sight as he receives a tremendous ovation from the fans in attendance. Michaels does his usual actions at the top of the ramp as fireworks shoot back and forth across the stage. Michaels proceeds down the ramp before entering as both Vince and Stephanie keep their eyes locked on him. Michaels poses on the turnbuckle, but keeps his WWE Title strapped around his waist.
Jim Ross: Shawn Michaels, of all men, may have just stopped the implosion between father and daughter of the McMahon family, and I can tell you right now that it wouldn't have been pretty.
Jerry Lawler: What's Stephanie thinking?! Her dad chose her for that job because he feels she deserves it!
Jim Ross: I'm not so sure, King. Daddy's Little Girl, who is showing us that she's all grown up, is arguing a good point.
Shawn Michaels: Now I'm sorry that I had to come out here and interrupt this delightful discussion of yours, but there are more important things than why you (points at Stephanie) are General Manager and why you (points at Vince) chose her for the job. What's important, is that once again, The Heartbreak Kid, The Showstopper, The Icon, Mr. WrestleMania... will once again headline the grand daddy of 'em all.
There is a massive pop for the WWE Champion
Shawn Michaels: What's important is that I will be in Orlando on March 30th, and I will go one-on-one... with the Undertaker.
There is an even larger pop for The Phenom of Death Valley
Shawn Michaels: And y'know, I've been hearing all week along about how great the Undertaker is at WrestleMania, how he's undefeated; 15-0. Well, to tell you the truth, I could care less how many times the Undertaker has one at WrestleMania.
The WWE Champion receives heat at this comment
Shawn Michaels: I look back in the past and I think of all the people who have faced the Undertaker, and lost. I look back to see superstar after superstar fall victim to the Deadman... but why? Why does the Undertaker always seem to walk away from WrestleMania victorious.
Shawn paces a little bit, almost as if he's thinking
Shawn Michaels: I've been asking myself that question all week, and I just found out the answer this morning. I realized why people fall victim to the Undertaker at WrestleMania... do you know why?
Stephanie and Vince just continue to look at Shawn Michaels, while a few fans shout out 'no'
Shawn Michaels: It's because they've all tried to put on a show to make people think that they can beat the Undertaker, but it doesn't fool the Deadman himself. They all made everybody think that they're confident, but deep down on the inside, each and everyone of those guys were afraid. They were afraid of defeat and losing at the grandest stage of 'em all, WrestleMania.
There is a small pop at the mention of WrestleMania
Shawn Michaels: But me... I'm not afraid of 'Taker. And you know why? It's because I have self-confidence deep down. I mean, I've already beat the Undertaker before. I beat him in Hell in a Cell, I retained this WWE Championship against him in a Casket Match, so quite frankly, I have Undertaker's number.
There is a small mixed reaction, but not much of one
Shawn Michaels: 'Taker knows it, boy does he know it, and y'know, 'Ta-
Stephanie McMahon: Look Shawn, thanks for reminding us about who you've beat, but I know that you didn't come out here to tell us about your past.
Shawn rubs his chin with a thinking look on his face
Shawn Michaels: Well, Stephanie, the reason I came out here is, well, because of you.
Stephanie looks confused, as does Vince
Shawn Michaels: Steph, you're now the General Manager around here, which means you have the power to make matches, isn't that right?
Vince McMahon: What are you getting at, Shawn?! Just get to the point, damnit!
Shawn Michaels: Y'know Vince, I thought I had shut you up once and for all, but I guess not. You wanna know what I want?
Vince nods his head and mouths the word 'yes'. Vince looks slightly intense, almost as if he's ready to fight Shawn
Shawn Michaels: Well Vince, what I want is the Undertaker, and I want him right here tonight.
There is an enormous pop
Shawn Michaels: I want the Undertaker right here tonight, face to face, eye to eye, man to man, so that I can tell him that come WrestleMania, there will only be one WWE Champion, and that will be The Showstopper!!!
There is a mixed reaction with a lot of heat mixed in there
Vince McMahon: Shawn, I thought I had taught you to be careful what you wish for, because the answer... is no.
Heat begins to spread throughout the entire arena
Vince McMahon: But since you seem to be so eager to be involved tonight, Shawn, I'll do just that. Actually, Stephanie here will do just that, because it's her decision on what you'll be doing tonight Shawn.
Both Vince and Shawn look over at Stephanie, who looks a little infuriated to be placed under pressure.
Stephanie McMahon: That sounds like a fine idea. How about right here tonight, we see Shawn Michaels going one-on-one... with Chris Jericho!!
A tremendous pop is heard from the Omaha fans as Stephanie looks pleased with the match she's made
Vince McMahon: That sounds like a great idea, but once again, no!
Immediately after the pop quiets down, heat is heard after finding out that it won't be Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels later on
Vince McMahon: Like I said, Shawn, be careful what you wish for, because tonight, it will be Shawn Michaels... versus Kane!!
There is a very vocal mixed reaction as once again **No Chance** plays. Vince McMahon leaves while looking at Shawn Michaels with a smile on his face. A ticked off Stephanie leaves soon after as Michaels has a blank expression across his face.
Jim Ross: Shawn Michaels came out to the ring tonight expecting to have a face off with the Undertaker, but instead, he is being forced to go one-on-one with the rampaging monster, Kane. I don't really think that's too fair when all Michaels wanted was to face off against the Undertaker.
Jerry Lawler: Well, JR, I guess Shawn Michaels was reminded to never cross the boss, which of course falls in line with never interrupting him in his ring.

~Hall of Fame Inductee Number One--RIC FLAIR
**London Calling** The duo of Paul London and Brian Kendrick race out onto the stage and down to the ring, ready to support each other as Kendrick gets set for singles action. After back flipping off of the turnbuckles, the two take off their masks and exchange a handshake in the ring. The two men get a fairly decent pop from the energetic crowd.
Jim Ross: These are two men who have a fighting style that I really admire in the ring, but things might not be as easy since Brian Kendrick will be in singles action tonight, meaning that he won't be able to use his tandem double teaming offence with his partner, Paul London.
Jerry Lawler: I'll tell you right now, JR, it's difficult to wrestling in singles competition after always competing with a partner.
**Cowboy** The Resident Rednecks, Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch, storm out onto the stage to a decent amount of heat from the crowd. The tough team keep tough guy looks on their face while raising their arms in the air as they proceed down the ramp. The camera is mostly focused on Lance Cade since he'll be the one competing.
Jerry Lawler: Boy do these guys mean business, JR.
Jim Ross: That's an understatement, King. These guys look tough, and they back it up in the ring when they ground and pound their opponents.
Match 1
Brian Kendrick w/Paul London vs. Lance Cade w/Trevor Murdoch Both men start the match off with some quick circling, but it doesn't last long as they immediately get in a collar to elbow tie up. Kendrick gets the better of the situation by breaking the tie up and kicking Cade right in the calf. Kendrick follows it up with two more kicks to the calf, and then nails Cade with a forearm shiver. Kendrick bounces off the ropes, and when he comes back, he connects with a running lariat, but Cade manages to stay on his feet. Kendrick stays right on his opponent and connects with a jumping forearm shiver. This backs Cade into the ropes, but Kendrick manages to connect with Dropkick; sending Cade through the rope and to the outside area of the ring.
The referee tries to keep Kendrick in the ring, but he doesn't listen and exits the ring. Kendrick stomps on Cade before helping the bigger man to his feet. Kendrick connects with a tough left handed shot and backs up for a few seconds to take a light breather. This costs Kendrick because when he goes back over to Cade, Murdoch distracts him from behind. Kendrick turns around as Murdoch scurries away with London exchanging some heated words with him. Kendrick turns back around, only to have his head 'thud' off of the mats on the outside with a vicious clothesline from Cade.
After rolling Kendrick back into the ring area, Cade dominated the next bit of the match. Cade overpowered the smaller Kendrick with several forearms and stomps, which dazed one half of the World Tag Team Champions even more. Cade even managed to connect with some hard clotheslines and a gruelling backbreaker. After a few minutes of total domination, Kendrick showed us his true will power and got back into the match with a Hurricanrana.
Kendrick and Cade both managed to get to their feet at the same time, but Kendrick started to pound away at his opponent with several right handed shots. After backing Cade into the corner, Kendrick went to shoot Cade into the opposite corner, but he was reversed, and it ended up that Kendrick was the one who went into the opposite corner. Cade charged at Kendrick, but Kendrick stuck his boot in the air and it caught Cade right in the jaw. Cade stumbled backwards as Kendrick hopped up on the second rope.
While on the second rope, Murdoch distracted Kendrick from the outside by getting up on the apron. London got him down, and the two brawled on the outside. The distraction helped, as Cade pulled Kendrick down from the top rope. Cade slowly waited for Kendrick to get up, and when Kendrick did get up, Cade went for the Cade Clothesline, but Kendrick ducked. Kendrick then grabbed Cade's head, bounced off the top rope, and then connected with the Sliced Bread #2 for the pin fall. Winner via pinfall at 7:23; Brian Kendrick
Paul London rolls back into the ring and embraced with his partner, Brian Kendrick, before the two of them celebrated in the middle of the ring. The World Tag Team Champions grabbed their belts and headed up the ramp while still celebrating over their victory.
Jim Ross: Brian Kendrick may have just ended the possible slump that him and his partner Paul London may have been having over the past few weeks by getting a victory here tonight against Lance Cade.
Jerry Lawler: They better get out of that slump if they want to defend the World Tag Team Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event.
Jim Ross: Speaking of Saturday Night's Main Event, what a night it's going to be as we have some huge things in store for you already.
We cut to the tron to preview the Saturday Night's Main Event Card. The first thing we see is that it w
