Default Re: WWE: The Revival

I'll just go ahead and throw some stuff out there about ECW. First off, to be honest the show was about the right length. A normal Raw or SD in BTB should have anywhere from 12-15 Matches/Promos all together. This ECW had 8. Four matches with one being ten minutes, Blackman/Knox and Kelly/Layla about 3 minutes a piece and then the main event getting about 8. That's 24 minutes there. Factor in the Striker/BDV promo which was say 3 minutes. Morrison interview was about the same at 3. Burchill video was about 2 or so, and Balls/Miz was about the same. That's looking at about 15 minutes of promos/segments. Then factor in that there was 4 commercial breaks ranging at about 4 minutes a piece and that adds up to 16. So really, the show wasn't short. It just seems like that in length. Match wise (in which I typed them it was)

Kinda glad you all liked Blackman coming in. We're probably going to have him get some time on TV and then eventually settle down to an enhancement talent.

Actually Reney, I'm not that fond of Striker anymore haha. Striker did use to be easy for me to write but this one was rather hard, guess since I haven't written a promo with him in a while and haven't watched ECW in a while either.

Layla vs. Kelly was simply used to hype the Divas Match at Survivor Series. No harm as it only lasted a few minutes.

Anastacia is the backstage interviewer on SD! apparently. I haven't watched SD or ECW in a while so I haven't really been paying attention to who interviews. I figured since technically SD and ECW tape together, Anastacia is already at the building and could interview. I don't see any harm in it.

As for the main event, bare with us. We're going off of current storylines right now basically and after Survivor Series, most of them should start to break off. Sure most of you might not want to see Morrison vs. Punk again but owell. Just bare with us and wait the time out. We've got plans for ECW. You just have to be patient. This is going to be a project we are experimenting with. Not many people do ECW but we wanted to be different. I think so far it's working out to the better.

Friday Night Smackdown! Preview

After putting Batista down the the Vice Grip last week on Smackdown, this week the Punjabi Giant, The Great Khali has challenged the World Heavyweight Champion, The Undertaker to a Non-Title match. Will The Great Khali be able to defeat the Undertaker and fire himself into title contention? Find out this week on Smackdown!

Also, The Undertaker's Survivor Series challenger, Batista will take on Finlay in a match that will kick off the show.

This and much more on Friday Night Smackdown! This week.

Just a short preview here, expect to see SD! up on Friday.

EDIT: Will be up Christmas Eve, the reason being that I've been ill all week. Usually I would just give a recap instead but under the circumstances because it's going to be a big show for me, then I'll wait and post it full on Monday.

Friday Night Smackdown
9th November 2007
Bakersfield, California

We kick off the show with The Great Khali’s translator, Runjin Singh shown on the screen backstage in the locker room speaking on the phone.

Runjin Singh: That sounds great…

Singh nods his head whilst still listening to the caller.

Runjin Singh: I’ll present the plan to the Great Khali, I’m sure that he’ll agree with it…

Sing pauses as he continues to listen to the caller, he then proceeds to nod his head again.

Runjin Singh: You’re right, it’s all about the championship…I’ll get back to you with a response later tonight.

The scene fades out as Singh hangs up the phone then turns to the Smackdown opening video package. Pyro then goes off in the arena and the music “Rise Up” blasts throughout the PA system. A graphic featuring The Undertaker & The Great Khali appears on screen.

Michael Cole: : Tonight one on one in Non-Title action, The World Heavyweight Champion, The Undertaker battles the Punjabi Nightmare, The Great Khali

JBL: Seven days ago, Khali put down Batista. Tonight can he do the same thing to the Undertaker?

”I Walk Alone” plays throughout the arena to a huge pop from the crowd as Batista makes his way to the ring dressed to compete with a look of rage on his face.

Michael Cole: : Here comes the Animal!!

Batista’s fireworks go off and he heads straight to the ring and poses on each turnbuckle.

Michael Cole: : Batista will surely be looking vent some of that frustration at being put down in the vice grip last week by The Great Khali, despite winning the match, just ten days before his big World Heavyweight Title match with The Undertaker at Survivor Series…

JBL: But he’s got his work cut out tonight…

”My Name is Finlay…” plays throughout the arena to huge heat from the crowd as Finlay makes his way to the ring with his Shillelagh in hand.

Match #1
Batista vs. Finlay

Match Overview: This is a great match to open the show with the crowd really getting into it. Batista starts off the match with all the momentum but Finlay does his best to break that momentum and take control. Finlay works on the leg of Batista throughout the match by doing everything he can think of to weaken it, even slamming it into the ring post at one point. Towards the end though Finlay just can’t seem to put away Batista who battles back into control. Rey Mysterio approaches ringside, Finlay looks as if he’s going to grab the Shillelagh from the corner to use on Batista but Mysterio snatches it away, the referee climbs out of the ring to have words with Rey and try to force him to the back. This distraction allows Finlay to get another Shillelagh from ringside and go after Batista but Batista blocks it and instead uses the weapon on Finlay! A move that the crowd loved. The end comes when Batista hit the Batista Bomb on Finlay for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Batista

Michael Cole: : Batista picks up the win!!!

JBL: He cheated dammit!! He used the Shillelagh on Finlay! The referee was too busy dealing with that little four foot nothing twurp Mysterio who had no business at ringside!!

Michael Cole: : You know what they say partner, Turnabout is fair play…Batista is rolling towards Survivor Series with huge momentum…

-Commercial-

We come back from the commercial break to see Vickie Guerrero standing in her office looking at the latest WWE magazine when her office door is heard slamming against the wall. She puts the magazine down and stands up as The Great Khali walks in along with translator Runjin Singh.

Vickie Guerrero: Great Khali, what can I do for you?

The Great Khali then goes on to talk for a minute then stops to allow Runjin Singh translate what he said.

Runjin Singh: The Great Khali says that tonight he takes on The Undertaker, a man that he has had many battles with…

Vickie Guerrero nods and keeps listening…

Runjin Singh: He has won some, he has lost some, every encounter between them has been brutal, and they all mean a lot to The Great Khali, and his many millions of fans who will be watching him from India tonight…

Vickie Guerrero: Yeah…

Runjin Singh: So the Great Khali says, it is in the best interest of the fans that they see a clean finish to this war tonight…so he thinks the match should be No Holds Barred, Falls Count Anywhere…

Vickie takes her glasses off and ponders for a minute before replying.

Vickie Guerrero: That sounds very appealing to me…so you got it!

Runjin Singh smiles then translates the news back to Khali, the two then leave the room and the camera zooms in on Vickie Guerrero who is smiling at the thought of a huge main event.

-Commercial-

We come back to see The Major Brothers standing in the ring waiting on their opponents.

”All About Cool” hits as Deuce & Domino make their way to the ring accompanied by Cherry in their car.

Match #2
Deuce & Domino (w/Cherry) vs. The Major Brothers

Match Overview: The crowd gets on the back of Deuce & Domino quite a lot in this match. The young team of Brian & Brett Major look quite impressive executing several double team moves and getting a few near pin falls on the former tag team champions. In the end though Domino takes out Brian Major, leaving Brett vulnerable to a double team, Deuce & Domino then execute Crack em in the Mouth on Brett for the 1-2-3 giving them the win.
Winners: Deuce & Domino

Michael Cole: : A strong win for the tag team champions over the impressive Major Brothers who once again showed that they have great potential.

JBL: They have potential but sooner or later they’re gonna learn that potential doesn’t buy you squat in this business Michael, it’s all about getting the job done!

A graphic goes on the screen featuring The Undertaker & The Great Khali, with the words “No Holds Barred, Falls Count Anywhere” on it.

Michael Cole: : Just a reminder that later tonight the World Heavyweight Champion, The Undertaker, collides with the seven foot three Punjabi giant, The Great Khali, all this and more when we come back!

-Commercial-

We come back to see Montel Vontavious Porter sitting in his locker room, as Matt Hardy walks into the room, MVP sees him then stands up, smiles and pats him on the shoulder.

MVP: Hey partner, hows it goin…

Matt Hardy: Hey captain…everything’s great man…

MVP keeps smiling even though Matt Hardy is talking sarcastically.

MVP: That’s cool…

Matt Hardy: Yeah it is…but do you know what would be even cooler? You know last week on Smackdown, you said that you would give me a United States Championship match, but you couldn’t because you were booked to take on Chuck Palumbo?

MVP’s smile disappears, he then slowly nods his head.

MVP: Yeah…

Matt Hardy: Well how about we have that United States Championship Match, this week?

MVP pauses for a minute then begins to smile again.

MVP: Man, Matt…once again…I would love to, but I just can’t because well…I was just coming to see you actually…

Matt Hardy: See me about what?

MVP: Well I got you a match for tonight, a little warmup for Survivor Series…it’s going to be you, one on one with Mr. Kennedy!!

Matt Hardy looks angry as MVP backs away a little bit.

Matt Hardy: When were you planning on telling me this?

MVP: I’m sorry partner, it just sort of slipped my mind, you better hurry up though, it’s up next…

Matt Hardy stares out MVP for a minute, then turns around and leaves the room. MVP waits till Matt has left, then begins to smile and sits back down.

-Commercial-

Match #3
Matt Hardy vs. Mr. Kennedy

Match Overview: This is a tremendous encounter between two of the Survivor Series opponents and the crowd gets really into it, booing Kennedy and cheering on Hardy, both men play to the crowd as much as they can. The match is back and forth with neither really having the advantage for a prolonged period of time. The end is near when Matt Hardy hits a Side Effect on Kennedy but Kennedy gets the shoulder up before three, Hardy picks up Kennedy who looks to be dead weight but Kennedy is playing possum and scoops Hardy onto his shoulders and hits a standing Green Bay Plunge, but Hardy also kicks out at two. Kennedy looks frustrated, but tries not to waste much time as he climbs the ropes. Kennedy then goes for the Kenton Bomb but Hardy rolls out of the way and Kennedy hits the canvas, Hardy then covers but Kennedy gets his shoulder up once again. Hardy then stands up and signals for a Twist of Fate and scouts Kennedy. Hardy kicks Kennedy in the midsection and goes for the twist of fate but Kennedy counters by pushing Hardy into the turnbuckle, Hardy staggers back into a rollup by Kennedy who hooks the tights and gets the 1-2-3.
Winner: Mr. Kennedy

Michael Cole: : Mr. Kennedy grabs the tights and gets the one, two, three, and JBL you really have to feel sorry for Matt Hardy after losing what has been a fantastic match in a manner like this!

JBL: Are you kidding me? It’s all about picking up the wins Michael! Like his method or not, that’s what Mr. Kennedy does and that’s why he was the brightest young star on Smackdown whilst he was here, I wish he’d be back here on Smackdown more often...

Michael Cole: : Well standing by right now is our newest interviewer, Anastacia who is with former World Heavyweight Champion, Rey Mysterio…

JBL is shown on the camera shaking his head in disgust; we then cut backstage to see Anastacia standing facing the camera.

Anastacia: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is Rey Mysterio!!

Rey Mysterio appears on screen to a huge pop from the crowd who start a “619” chant in the background before Anastacia begins to speak.

Anastacia: Now Rey, Last week on Smackdown after you managed to defeat Chavo Guerrero in a gruelling match you were attacked by Finlay, now in just a few moments time you go one on one with Carlito! What type of condition are you in for this match?

Rey Mysterio: My condition? I’m beat up, I’m battered, but it won’t stop me from going out there tonight and doing everything in my power to beat Carlito, and it sure as hell won’t stop me at Survivor Series…

Anastacia: What happens at Survivor Series?

Rey pauses for a moment, then begins to smile and speaks.

Rey Mysterio: At Survivor Series, I get MY shot at retribution, you see I just came from Vickie Guerrero’s office, and she’s made a match…it’s gonna be me…one on one…with Finlay!!!

The fans pop in the background but immediately after Rey finishes speaking he is attacked from behind by Finlay!!

Finlay picks Rey Mysterio up and flings him into the railings on the interview set, he then picks up his Shillelagh and nails Mysterio in the injured ribs. Finlay then walks away content with the damage he’s done as several officials attends to Rey Mysterio.

Michael Cole: : A brutal assault by Finlay on Mysterio who is up next in action against Carlito!! When we come back!

-Commercial-

A video package plays first of Batista pinning The Great Khali last week on Smackdown after a spinebuster, it then shows The Undertaker telling Batista that he will Rest in Peace, then Khali taking out Batista with the Vice Grip, then standing tall at the end of the show.

Michael Cole: : Later on tonight in a No Holds Barred, Falls Count Anywhere Match, it’s the champion, The Undertaker, against the Punjabi Nightmare, The Great Khali!!

”I spit in the face” hits to heat from the crowd as Carlito makes his way to the ring for his match with a huge smile on his face after seeing what happened to Rey Mysterio moments ago.

Michael Cole: : It’s unusual to see Carlito who is from Raw, accept this challenge and come over to compete on Smackdown for one night only, but I spoke to Carlito earlier today and this is what he had to say…

We cut to a video package that has Michael Cole trying to catch up with Carlito as he arrives in the arena.

Michael Cole: : Carlito, why are you here on Smackdown?

Carlito: Why am I here on Smackdown? It’s simple Cole, Carlito is here to make a statement, and that statement is that Carlito is not only the best on Raw, but the best in the entire WWE, and that…that’s cool.

Carlito smiles and walks away as the video fades out.

”Booyaka” hits throughout the arena to a huge pop from the crowd as Rey Mysterio slowly walks to the ring, struggling after the attack several moments ago.

Match #4
Carlito vs. Rey Mysterio

Match Overview: Carlito attacks Mysterio very quickly once he enters the ring to try and capitalize on the injuries that he suffered during the backstage attack by Finlay moments ago. Carlito also works on the ribs of Mysterio that have taken a beating in recent weeks at the hands of Finlay. Carlito controls the match against one of his four Survivor Series opponents much to the distain of the crowd who are firmly behind Mysterio throughout the match. This match ends when Mysterio manages to capitalize on a Carlito mistake on the top turnbuckle and pushes him off, allowing Mysterio to come off with a flying move. Mysterio then hits several of his trademark moves, Carlito tries his best to fight his way into the match but Mysterio gets the win after a 619 and a splash from the ropes for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Rey Mysterio

Michael Cole: : Mysterio pulls out a gutsy win!!!

JBL: You have got to be kidding me!!! Once again that Cinderella story is shoved down our throats as the biggest flukester in history pulls out yet another upset win!!

Michael Cole: : What’s your problem with Rey Mysterio?

JBL: My problem is that he thinks he should get all the attention when there are guys that get a hell of a lot less praise when they have twice the talent of this punk kid!!

Mysterio makes it to his feet and stares at JBL at ringside as we go to a commercial break.

-Commercial-

We come back to see Jamie Noble walking down the corridor, he arrives outside the door that says “General Manager” on it, he takes a breath then knocks on the door and walks in. He then walks up to Vickie Guerrero who doesn’t look happy to see him.

Jamie Noble: Vickie Guerrero, you know last week on Smackdown when you said that if I impressed you then I would get one of those DVD things so I thought after my…performance…last week against Kane, that maybe you were ready to give me one…

Vickie Guerrero begins to laugh.

Vickie Guerrero: You’re performance?

Jamie Noble: Yeah Vickie, I took the fight to Kane, I didn’t back down, I came so close to beating him but unfortunately, I wasn’t really well that day and I was coughing and Kane took advantage of this and somehow I lost the match!!

Vickie Guerrero: You had a bad cough?

Jamie Noble: Yeah that’s it Vickie, but not to worry it’s all healed up now, and I was just wondering if well you know, me and you Vickie…

Vickie Guerrero: Jamie stop there!

Vickie’s face turns angry and Jamie stops looking shocked.

Vickie Guerrero: I know what you’re going to say that after the show you want me and you to get together…

Jamie Noble: Yeah that’s right!!!

Vickie Guerrero: …to pick out the matches for you’re DVD right?

Jamie looks at Vickie confused and speechless.

Jamie Noble: Uhh…yeah that’s it…

Vickie Guerrero: I just think that there’s still time for more great matches to go on it, so how about having a match tonight that we could use on the DVD?

Jamie Noble: ………Uh what match?

Vickie Guerrero: Well up next, it’s going to be you…one on one with “The Worlds Strongest Man” Mark Henry!!

Jamie Noble’s eyes nearly pop out of his head.

Jamie Noble: VICKIE GUERRERO!!! WHY THE HELL???

Jamie begins to panic and turns around and leaves the office, leaving Vickie Guerrero laughing in the office as the camera goes back on the announcers.

Michael Cole: : Well Vickie Guerrero seems to be continuing to toy with Jamie Noble, and he will be in action against “The Worlds Strongest Man” when we come back from this commercial break!

-Commercial-

Match #5
Mark Henry vs. Jamie Noble

Match Overview: This is extremely short, the match starts with Henry smiling at Noble, Noble pauses for a minute then just runs straight at Henry who flattens him with a clothesline. Henry then picks up Noble and hits the Worlds Strongest Slam. Henry kneels down into the cover, 1-2-but Henry picks his shoulder off the mat. Henry pulls Noble to his feet and locks in the Bear Hug, squeezing the life out of Noble for the submission win.
Winner: Mark Henry

After the bell rings Kane appears seemingly out of nowhere and attacks Mark Henry. Kane and Henry exchange right hands, Kane gets the better of the exchange and knocks Mark Henry through the ropes and out of the ring. Officials come down quickly to try and break up the fight but they can’t get near the situation.

Kane climbs out of the ring and grabs Henry by the throat, then delivers a huge Chokeslam on Henry through the announce table.

Michael Cole: : MARK HENRY THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!!!!

JBL: Have you ever seen Henry taken out like that?

Officials finally manage to pull Kane back as he heads up the ramp with a sick smile on his face.

Michael Cole: : The Big Red Machine is on a rampage!!! Getting a measure of revenge for the assault on him by Mark Henry, last week on Smackdown!

We cut backstage to see The Great Khali’s translator Runjin Singh entering his locker room, he checks that nobody else is following him and closes the door behind him. He then takes his phone out of his pocket and dials a number.

Runjin Singh: It’s me…is everything set on you’re end?

Singh listens then begins to smile.

Runjin Singh: The Great Khali is very happy with this plan…Yeah…don’t worry, he’ll hold up his end of it, but you better hold up yours ok?

Singh’s grin gets even bigger as he listens to the caller once again.

Runjin Singh: Good…

Singh hands up the phone as we fade to a commercial break.

-Commercial-

We come back from the commercial break as The Great Khali’s music plays throughout the arena to huge heat from the crowd as he makes his way to the ring along with his translator Runjin Singh.

Michael Cole: : Over seven feet tall, four hundred and twenty pounds, a former World Heavyweight Champion, has a huge match ahead of him tonight…

JBL: Make no mistake about it Michael! We are about to see a war! But it was The Great Khali that wanted this match to have No Disqualifications, No countouts and for it to be Falls Count Anywhere!!!

Michael Cole: : Well we seen The Great Khali’s translator Runjin Singh on the phone earlier tonight talking to someone, then after that it appeared that Khali asked Vickie Guerrero to make it a No Holds Barred Match so he has a plan!

JBL: He would be daft not to have one Michael…

A gong goes off and the music of The Undertaker hits throughout the arena to a huge pop from the crowd as the World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring. Khali attacks him at the opening bell to start the bout.

Match #6 – Non-Title
No Holds Barred – Falls Count Anywhere
The Undertaker vs. The Great Khali

Match Overview: This is a very slow paced, hard hitting match. The bout spills right around the ringside as both men use various weapons against each other including choking with the camera cable, smashing each other into the ring post/steps, and The Great Khali also uses the monitor from the broken table on the head of The Undertaker. Khali then takes the fight into the ring and uses the nerve hold on The Undertaker. The crowd tries their best to get behind the World Heavyweight Champion and eventually manage to will him back into it as he fights to his feet and battles out of the nerve hold with right and left hands. The end is near when both men take each other out with a double clothesline…

Michael Cole: : Both men down in the centre of the ring here…WAIT A MINUTE!!! IT’S BATISTA!!!!

Batista is shown on the camera running down the ramp with a steel chair in hand. He slides into the ring and stands over the two men with a chair. The two men appear to be stirring round and Batista looks at either one.

JBL: Who’s he gonna hit though Michael?

Batista then turns to the ring apron and sees that Finlay has climbed up on it; he drops the chair then knocks Finlay off the apron. Batista then climbs outside of the ring and starts brawling with Finlay.

Michael Cole: : What the hell is Finlay doing out here JBL?

JBL: Probably trying to get retribution for earlier tonight when Batista knocked his lights out with that Shillelagh!!!

Batista and Finlay brawl to the backstage area, as both Khali and Taker get to their feet. Taker knocks Khali over the top rope with a huge clothesline, and then follows to the outside. Khali looks as if he is backing up the ramp towards the backstage area.

Michael Cole: : Is Khali running from The Undertaker?

JBL: I don’t think he is, I think he’s just dazed!

The Undertaker and The Great Khali go to the side of the titantron and brawl away to outside the arena. Khali gains the upper hand on The Undertaker and pulls him further outside the arena; both men end up in the Parking Lot. Undertaker then once again gains the upper hand and grabs Khali by the throat, Undertaker uses all the strength he has left to muster Khali up for a chokeslam, then collapses on him and the referee counts the 1-2-3!!!!

Justin Roberts: Here is your winner, The Undertaker!!!!

Michael Cole: : Undertaker picks up the win, after a brutal match!!

Undertaker stands up and then staggers back slightly. A car is heard speeding in the background; The Undertaker turns around and is run over!!! The black car then speeds off out of sight as The Undertaker is left unconscious in the Parking Lot.

Michael Cole: : OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!

JBL: No…

Michael Cole: : The Undertaker…has been run over!!!

JBL: Somebody get him medical attention dammit!!!

Michael Cole: : What does this mean for The Undertaker? What does it mean for the World Heavyweight Championship? What does it mean……for Smackdown?

The camera fades out with The Undertaker down and out.

End of Show.

Default Re: WWE: The Revival

I'll just throw some comments out about Smackdown.

Interesting start to the show with Singh. Something big has to go down tonight for anyone to want to do anything with Khali lol.

Nice way to start off with a match as it's good every now and then to mix things up with a match instead of a promo. Huge match too. Mysterio just came out of nowhere, seems like the rematch will be taking place soon. Strong win for Batista tonight too which makes me wonder what is his next step on SD.

Eh, short promo really. I got the jist of it but nothing really came out of it.

Ooo, little bit of tag team action and I've always liked SD's tag division despite their only being a few teams. Either way, guessing Deuce and Domino will be next once Hardy and MVP finally lose the titles. Oh yeah, small mistake but you had Cole say that "the tag team champions" had an impressive win.

Good promo here and reminds me of something they would have done or said in real life, kinda like last week's too. No surprise to see MVP resort to his ally, Mr. Kennedy since they had an alliance in 2006. Makes total sense, and I must think that Matt will win tonight unless MVP has a say in it. Hmmm, shocked but glad Raw's Kennedy beat Hardy. That proves Raw's dominance haha.

Mysterio facing Carlito tonight sounds exciting. Damn, should be easy pickings for Carlito since Finlay just beat the shit out of Mysterio. I would think so but you might be doing the underdog thing with Mysterio again. Yeh, he gets the win which doesn't shock me as he needed it more than Carlito.

I love Jamie Noble. I just wish WWE saw a lot more in him than what they do. That would make me want to watch SD haha. But anyways, this is going to be pretty interesting to see what goes down here in the future between Guerrero/Noble. I like that you're going to actually continue the storyline instead of killing it off like WWE did. Eh, no shock to see Noble lose. Wow, Kane came out of nowhere. Makes the SS match look strong for us too with the aftermath. It's going to be one hell of a match.

Wild main event, that was for sure. Ending was something different and shame that 'Taker has to lose the title after only two weeks with it. I just can't see him competing for a while. Definently interesting ending to SD and makes everybody want to tune in next week to see what happened to 'Taker.

----------------------

Ok, first off it's been a while since I posted in here. Bout a week or so but anyways, I just thought I'd go ahead and get it out there for everybody. I have about six or seven reviews I need to do, I'm well aware of that. Please hang in there with me as I've been non-stop for the past few weeks or so but it will start slowing down hopefully come mid January. So please bare with me. You can ask Hollywood haha, we barely have time to talk. But anyways, Raw preview will prolly be up Saturday followed by Raw probably Monday. Until then, check out Event's SD.

Nige’s Smackdown Feedback

Hey, thanks for the Raw review Hollywood, and just to let you know this is the first time I’ve checked out one of your shows. I’m always interested to see what people do with the current day Smackdown, so this could be good

Runjin Singh starting the show was different. Regardless of what people say about Khali, he is a threat and a great person to have if booked rightly. It seems that there is something important in store tonight

Batista starting the show against Finlay is sure to get the fans into the match and the show later on, so that’s always a good decision to get someone over to start the night off. I liked that Finlay got a taste of his own medicine and Batista is probably one of very few who could pull that off. Sensible booking

The Runjin/Vickie segment was good. The character was very strong here and it was like for a like with a promo you would expect to see between the two. The phone call interests me now from earlier as I don’t have a clue who he was talking to. I see some kind of dodgy finish tonight now

These two tag teams don’t really interest me. It’s a real pity though as it’s not your fault with the teams available to you on Smackdown. D& D getting the win is fine for me as I really don’t see the fuss in The Majors

Matt/MVP promo was really good. Okay we didn’t see the cocky MVP, but we saw the slimy, cunning side of him. I like that he’s keeping Matt at bay still, adding more fire to it. Should be a great pay off match when it happens. Matt losing to Kennedy was no surprise. I was expecting MVP to get involved by some kind of incident, but Kennedy winning dirty is what we expect

Poor Rey getting attacked like that. He sold his feud with Finlay really well. I was surprised how much fun it was to write for these two in a feud together. Great that Finlay came back looking strong after the loss earlier on. Rey up next to get a win wasn’t expected, but it all adds to his under dog character and sends out a warning message to Finlay for sure. You’ll enjoy writing a brutal match between these two like I did at Cyber Sunday. I was waiting for Finlay to come out here, but it wasn’t to be

Noble/Vickie was very realistic too. Your use of character is spot on, as is the booking in general. Noble was always going to be put into another match after his cough excuse. Mark Henry, that’s a challenge. It was too and no shock to see him lose. Choosing Henry was a good way to bring Kane out after his match with Noble last week. Great to see the fire inside Kane, and the announce table spot was great to see

Time for the dodgy finish I expect. Shocked that Batista and Finlay got involved, Finlay in particular considering he bypassed the Rey match for this one. I can see he was mad at Batista, but Rey is his priority and I think he should have stuck to that. As for Taker getting the win, it had to be, but getting run down. It’s something we don’t see a lot, so that’s good. Having not read your show before, I’m not sure who ran him over one little bit. So I’ll be looking forward to see who ran him over next week

Overall. A very good show. Realistic, character is good, booking too. The only problem I had was with Finlay getting involved with Batista and not Rey. Apart from that, all the good things I’ve heard about your ability has been backed up and will continue to check this out!

Yeah, just to explain the whole Finlay-Batista thing. Finlay had already sent a message to Rey for his Survivor Series match and I left him out of interfering because I didn't want to overkill it with two attacks. Also Finlay going after Batista in the main event I thought was necessary for Finlay's character because he doesn't take lying down usually, Batista hit him with the Shilleleigh(sp) earlier on so I thought it made sense for him to try and get a little retribution. Thanks for the review!

Great shows, love the overall layout as it's not sloppy...very well organized. The segments were great too, a couple errors like most people have mentioned before but the finish of the show was pretty shocking. Interesting to see where you go from here with this...I'm wondering who ran over Undertaker, should be a great rivalry to come out of it nonetheless. I would give a really long review, but it's 5 am and I feel like crap. Later and yes, I'll keep reading.
