Default Re: WWE: The Revival

Monday Night Raw
Monday October 29, 2007
Philadelphia, PA

To Be Loved hits across the arena as the Raw video package plays before it ends with Randy Orton holding his WWE championship high. The camera zooms into the arena after the pyro sets off as it pans the crowd before we head over to ringside to the commentating team.

Jim Ross: A wild night it was last night at Cyber Sunday and tonight all roads lead to Survivor Series in less than three weeks!

Jerry Lawler: We’ve been told that we’ll learn of our Survivor Series main event tonight as for who will be Randy Orton’s opponent.

Jim Ross: That’s certainly going to be one huge announcement and we’re ready to kick things off as our GM apparently has something to say.

Born Naughty hits across the arena as out walks the Raw GM in his suit and tie, as he makes his way down the ramp. Regal gets into the ring as he walks around and slides underneath the ropes before walking over and receiving a mic. Regal looks around the arena to a mixed reaction as he begins to speak.

William Regal: Should have known you bloody Philadelphia fans were only worried about ECW coming here!

The crowd boos as Regal shows a smirk but continues on.

William Regal: But that’s okay, because we’re not ECW. We’re Raw and we’re better than ECW. Now I’m sure most of you know that last night at Cyber Sunday, we had a bit of controversy whenever Randy Orton decided to get himself disqualified and just for that, I’ve got a huge announcement to make tonight concerning Survivor Series.

The crowd pops wondering what the announcement is.

William Regal: But before I do so, I need to address something else first.

The crowd boos knowing Regal is stalling his announcement.

William Regal: The past few weeks, we’ve had a “little” problem I guess you could call it. Mr. McMahon’s son, Hornswoggle has been running around like a bloody chicken with its head cut off! And we can’t have that happening here on Raw!

The fans cheer for the mention of the little guy, Hornswoggle.

William Regal: Considering the fact that I am the Raw General Manager and I have been given the authority and right to, I’ve decided that tonight I’m going to book a match. First off, since Jonathan Coachman seems to have a problem with Hornswoggle, he can settle his problems in the ring tonight with the little man!

The fans cheer for Hornswoggle as Regal continues on.

William Regal: Now moving onto Survivor Series, I’ve looked at the scenarios we’ve had and considered everything. I’ve decided that at Survivor Series, Shawn Michaels will get his one on one rematch against the WWE Champion…

The crowd goes wild for hearing that Michaels gets a rematch.

William Regal: Under one condition!

The crowd boos hearing that Regal has something else planned for the match.

William Regal: First off tonight, Shawn Michaels will be going one on one with the monster Snitsky in this very ring! Secondly, to keep all things fair at Survivor Series, I have taken it upon myself to go ahead and book that the match will be held under No Disqualification Rules! That way, the WWE Champion cannot get himself disqualified and anything goes during the match!

The crowd pops for the huge announcement for Survivor Series. Regal goes on to speak but the WWE champion, Randy Orton makes his way down the ramp as Burn in my Light starts up. Orton’s pyro doesn’t fall as he makes his way down the ramp with a glare on his face staring down Regal wondering why Regal made this match.

Randy Orton: Shawn Michaels does not deserve this damn match and you know this Regal! What has Michaels done to warrant this?

Orton stares at Regal as Regal gets defensive.

William Regal: And what have you done Mr. Orton? You’ve had the title for a little over three weeks and you should have lost it last night had you not cheated your way out of the match. I’m the boss around here and whatever I call stands! You understand me?

Orton shakes his head in disagreeance.

Randy Orton: No, I do not understand you. I gave everything I had into winning this title at No Mercy and I’ll be damned if I’m going to have someone like you push my back against the wall and try to take MY title away from me! You, the fans, hell anybody can say that Shawn Michaels should have beaten me last night but did he?

The crowd yells “yes”

Randy Orton: Well, he didn’t!

Orton continues on as Regal stands back.

Randy Orton: It’s people like you William that have held me back in my career. People that try and push me against the wall. You tried stacking the odds against me but I overcame them! As for you Shawn Michaels, I know you’re probably sitting in the back smirking right now, knowing you have a title match coming for you, but you might as well sit up and listen.

Orton walks around, adjusting his WWE title as Regal makes his way out of the ring and up the ramp.

Randy Orton: Shawn, you can claim that you came “so close” to beating me last night but really you didn’t. You didn’t even get a damn inch close to beating me. Then you have to kick a man when he is done literally. I fought one hell of a match and you have to come in there and hit me with the Sweet Chin Music? Tells me what kind of a man you are! Shawn, you can say all you want about taking MY WWE title back but in reality, it’s not going anywhere.

Orton pats the title quickly.

Randy Orton: I kicked you right square in the head in May. It’s your damn fault as to why you came back. If I were you, I would have stayed down and never came back to the WWE. Now, you’ve simply made the biggest mistake of your career. You’ve messed with the wrong person now Shawn. You’ve picked the wrong person and the wrong time.

Orton throws the title back over his shoulders.

Randy Orton: I’ll see you at Survivor Series.

Burn in My Light hits across the arena as the WWE champion makes his way back up the ramp. Orton makes his way out of the arena as we cut off to a commercial.

---Commercial---

World’s Greatest hits across the arena as our show is kicking off with a good opening tag match as down the ramp come Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. Benjamin and Haas slide into the ring and wait for their opponents as a short video clip plays showing why this match is taking place. The clip shows the WGTT teasing Cody Rhodes last week.

How Do You Like Me Now? Hits across the arena as out steps the rather interesting tandem of Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly. Holly and Rhodes make their way down the ramp before sliding into the ring as the WGTT back out of the ring and to the outside. The ref calls for the bell and the match is underway.

Match #1
World’s Greatest Tag Team vs. Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes

Match Overview: We get a rather interesting tag match as Benjamin and Haas of course decide to work over on Rhodes rather than Holly as Holly is a brutal veteran in the ring. Haas knows a little about Holly after being his tag partner briefly back in the summer of 2005 but not too much to be honest. Benjamin and Haas both work over on Rhodes arm, trying to prevent him from hitting a DDT as Haas slams the arm of Rhodes down onto the turnbuckles. Haas makes the tag bringing in Benjamin as Benjamin now comes in on fire, kicking Rhodes right in the arm! Benjamin quickly Irish whips Rhodes into the ropes but as Cody comes back, he ducks underneath a clothesline from Benjamin and then quickly grabs Benjamin by the neck hitting a neck breaker! Rhodes has some trouble getting to the ropes but eventually reaches over and tags in Holly! Holly comes into the ring, all guns blaring as Haas runs at him but runs right into a back body drop. Benjamin gets back up and runs right into a series of knife-edge chops from the hardcore one. Holly picks Haas back up after tagging Rhodes back in. Holly drops Haas with the Alabama Slam before Rhodes leaps off the turnbuckles and hits Benjamin with a Flying Cross body! Rhodes has the leg hooked and the ref counts, One…Two…Three!

Winners: Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes

Rhodes goes wild as Holly calms him down. Both men look at one another as they still aren’t best of friends but both shake hands with one another. Holly and Rhodes make their way out of the arena as we head over to ringside.

Jim Ross: A wild night it has been already as first we learned of our Survivor Series main event and now I’m already looking forward to that match.

Jerry Lawler: Indeed JR and what a win tonight for Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes, they’re continuing to climb the mountain of the tag team rankings.

Jim Ross: I have a feeling King that if these two can stay together and work together; we might have new tag champs in our future.

We cut backstage to see Santino Marella with Maria.

Santino Marella: Oh my Maria!

The crowd boos the first sight they see of Santino.

Maria: Santino, I’ve got a match tonight? Are you going down there with me?

Santino Marella: O Maria, I’d do anything for you my beautiful Maria! But a’ Maria! I’ve got za’ surprise for you next week here on Rawa’!

Maria: A surprise? I love surprises! But what is it?

Santino Marella: Maria’, I of course can’t tell you but what I can tell you is that nexta’ week, we are goina’ on a date with a movie.

Maria: What movie Santino?

Santino Marella: A movie that has bad acting, a movie that stars probably the worst professional “actor” ever.

Maria: So what is it Santino?

Santino Marella: The Condemned!

Maria: Is that the surprise Santino?

Santino Marella: Of course not Maria! The Condemned cannot warrant a surprise for you. You are much more deserving of something than anything that stars Stone Cold!

Maria: Yay! I love Stone Cold! I can’t wait till next week now Santino!

Santino Marella: Maria! That is enough! Don’t eva’ say that around me! Now let’s go!

Santino grabs the hand of Maria and drags her into the arena as we head to a break.

---Commercial---

With Legs Like That by Zebrahead hits across the arena as out steps Maria being dragged by Santino Marella into the arena. Santino lets go of Maria as Maria makes her way down the ramp for her match. Maria slides into the ring looking a little nervous as Santino plops himself down on commentary with JR and the King.

Glamazon hits across the arena as out steps “The Glamazon” and the Women’s Champion, Beth Phoenix! Phoenix makes her way down the ramp as she climbs onto the turnbuckles and takes a seat on the turnbuckles holding her title. She does a flip off as she turns around and stares down a nervous looking Maria.

Match #2
Beth Phoenix vs. Maria

Match Overview: A rather quick match as Maria gets in a few hits on Phoenix but nothing major as it is really just to showcase Phoenix as the champion. Phoenix does her job, toying around with Maria for a little bit but doesn’t waste too much time in the ring. Towards the end of the match, Maria got a sudden boost of energy as she came off the ropes knocking down Phoenix with a clothesline but that wasn’t enough as Beth got back to her feet. Maria charged at Phoenix with a running cross body but the Glamazon caught Maria in mid-air. The Glamazon holds Maria up in the air and then brings her crashing down into the mat with a Delayed Cradle Suplex! Phoenix simply hooks the leg of Maria as the crowd looks on as Maria is pretty much out of it for now! One…Two…Three!!!

Winner: Beth Phoenix

Beth slides to the outside after this quick match grabbing her title as Santino sits at ringside arguing with JR and the King for a bit. King tells Santino to go and check on Maria and Santino says he will when he feels the time is right. Santino slides into the ring holding Maria’s head up as he plops a kiss on her as Maria is down right now. Santino helps Maria back up as he carries her to the back.

We cut backstage after this match to see Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch walking around holding their tag titles. Cade and Murdoch walk past the Divas locker room and at that time, Mickie James just happens to be walking out. Murdoch stops.

Mickie James: Look Trevor, I just wanted to thank you for last week.

Trevor Murdoch: No problem.

Mickie looks at Lance as Lance looks ultra pissed.

Mickie James: Well that’s all I wanted to say.

Cade and Murdoch walk off now as Mickie heads the opposite way.

Lance Cade: What the hell is wrong with ya’ man?

Cade looks at Murdoch as Murdoch looks confused.

Trevor Murdoch: Can’t a gentleman just be ni…

Lance Cade: NO! You can’t Trevor. We got us more important things to worry about than you falling for some bimbo. We’re the tag champs Trevor and you need to know that we’ve got people gunnin’ for us like it’s nothing! Now are you goin’ to worry about some worthless girl or are you goin’ to worry bout your tag titles? We've got two lunatics that are wanting these titles plus not to mention all those other teams gunnin' after us!

The crowd boos this as they can tell Cade directed that at Mickie, London, and Kendrick.

Trevor Murdoch: I know Lance but st…

Lance Cade: Come on Murdoch, let’s go!

Murdoch stands where he is at. Cade looks at him.

Lance Cade: I said, LET’S GO!

Murdoch who was watching Mickie walk off makes his way with Cade now as they are carrying their tag titles and they walk off.

---Commercial---

We head backstage after the break to see Carlito standing by with Todd Grisham.

Todd Grisham: Carlito, last week you were defeated by the debuting DH Smith, is the…

Carlito: Carlito says don’t mention last week. Last week was a bad week for Carlito! My head wasn’t in the game, that’s it! DH Smith thinks that he can just walk up in here on Carlito’s show and try to steal Carlito’s thunder? Well he’s wrong.

Todd Grisham: Carlito, you requested this interview time so can you please tell us for why did you request it?

Carlito: Carlito wanted to say that next week here on Raw, I’ve received a rematch against DH Smith. Carlito went to General Manager Regal earlier and found out that DH wasn’t here tonight. He’s not here because he knew what he had coming for him if he was here tonight.

Todd Grisham: Carlito, you’ve had a bad few months recently losing to superstars such as Triple H, etc. Would you lik…

Carlito looks at Grisham and bites off his apple. Carlito look at Grisham and spits the apple into Grisham’s face pissed off he mentioned that.

Carlito: Carlito say’s that not cool. But what is cool is the fact that next week when DH Smith makes his return, Carlito is going to end up laying him out. Carlito is going to show DH Smith why you don’t mess with the best. And you know what Todd…

Carlito looks at Grisham who is wiping apple and spit off his glasses.

Carlito: Dat? Dat’s cool!

Carlito walks off as we head backstage once again to see Jonathan Coachman walking into General Manager Regal’s office.

Jonathan Coachman: Is this some kind of joke, Mr. Regal?

William Regal: What are you talking about Coach? I don’t know what you find so funny?

Coachman is laughing his ass off now as he is prepping for his match later tonight.

Jonathan Coachman: I mean seriously, do you think Hornswoggle actually stands a chance against me?

William Regal: Mr. Coachman, I suggest that you go and get yourself ready for your match. Whether you think it is a joke or not, it is next.

Coach is having trouble standing laughing so hard.

William Regal: I said now Coach!

Coachman makes his way out of the office as he walks off and heads out into the arena. At this time in walks Mr. McMahon to a mixed reaction.

Mr. McMahon: So how’s everything going Mr. Regal?

William Regal: Everything is fine Mr. McMahon! Though I must ask one thing, where did you get that nice watch?

The crowd boos seeing Regal is clearly sucking up to Mr. McMahon.

Mr. McMahon: Oh this, that’s nothing. Now I want to ask you something, have you seen my “son” anywhere tonight?

William Regal: Actually no Mr. McMahon, I’ve yet to see him but he has a match up next.

Mr. McMahon: Ok that’s great. Thanks for telling me that.

William Regal: Mr. McMahon, I’ve got a great idea for Survivor Series if you don’t mind me telling you?

Mr. McMahon: Ok, go ahead.

William Regal: Well…

Regal bends over and whispers something into Mr. McMahon’s ear! McMahon smiles in agreeance as we head out to a black screen into a commercial.

---Commercial---

Hard Hittin’ by Homebwoi hits across the arena as out steps Jonathan Coachman. Coach is wearing a Hornswoggle shirt with a big red x over it. Coach makes his way down the ramp as he slides into the ring, pretending to box as he waits for his opponent.

Pot of Gold hits across the arena as out from under the ring comes Hornswoggle. Hornswoggle slides into the ring and runs around rampantly. Hornswoggle waits for the match to begin.

Match #3
Jonathan Coachman vs. Hornswoggle

Match Overview: A rather quick match but of course is used for it’s comedy purposes here tonight on Raw. Nothing much really comes out of it as mentioned, it’s just for comedy purposes. Hornswoggle toys around with the Coach doing his normal pre-match things such as sliding under the legs of his opponent, running around the ring, etc. However Coach is able to stop this whenever he kicks Hornswoggle square in the face. Coach picks Hornswoggle back up, throwing him back first into the turnbuckles. Coach throws him onto the top turnbuckle looking ready for a Suplex off the turnbuckles but Hornswoggle bites Coach’s hand! Hornswoggle then quickly sweeps Coach off his feet before climbing the turnbuckles and hitting the Tadpole Splash for the win!

Winner: Hornswoggle

Hornswoggle runs around the ring rampantly celebrating his win but not for long as Umaga hits the ring! Umaga runs in taking down Hornswoggle! Umaga toys around with Hornswoggle, even holding the midget in the air before hitting a Samoan Spike bringing Hornswoggle crashing down onto the mat. He holds his throat as Umaga places him in the corner, looking possibly for a Samoan Wrecking Ball but Triple H hits the ring! Triple H and Umaga go at it with Hunter clothes lining Umaga to the outside of the ring. Triple H throws some wild rights at Umaga as the fight spills to the crowd. However Umaga is able to break away as he runs away from Hunter after hitting Hunter with a Samoan Spike! The fans boo as Hunter is down in the aisle as a doctor comes to check on him but he’s really fine. It’s just a way to get him out of the crowd.

Jim Ross: Triple H and Umaga had another brawl and it just seems as if this feud will never end between them.

Jerry Lawler: There is too much hatred for them to end it right there. It’s just impossible for the hatred to quit right now!

Jim Ross: Well when we come back, it’ll be time for the Intercontinental title match whenever Jeff Hardy meets Mr. Kennedy!

---Commercial---

A black screen starts out before blue and white numbers come across the screen. More random numbers flash before we see videos of past WWE events coming into the screen. Some numbers are visible now as we see Save_Us.X29 and Self Savior shown on the screen. The video continues to play as more numbers are flying across the screen as it has been for the past month or so. The video ends with a faint shot of Second Coming shown.

After the video ends we head backstage to see Brian Kendrick and Paul London talking about their tag team match win last week with Mickie James over Cade and Murdoch and Melina.

Brian Kendrick: Look Paul, it was a great win! It’s got to put is in the running for those tag titles now!

Paul London: Of course Brian…

Melina and Jillian Hall come walking by as they stop and look at London and Kendrick.

Jillian: Do you boys want to hear me sing?

Kendrick and London shake their heads but Jillian thinks that means yes.

Jillian: Ok, here we go then! You know my hips don’t lie, And I’m starting to feel it’s right, All the attraction, the tension, baby don’t you see this is…

Jillian: PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jillian yells the last word at the top of her lungs nearly breaking the camera! London and Kendrick cover there ears as Melina looks on clapping.

Jillian: So how was it?

London and Kendrick: Um, it was great!

Jillian: You want me to sing another song?

Melina whispers something to Jillian.

Jillian: Ooo, good choice Melina. Ok, here we go then!

Jillian: O baby baby, I wasn’t supposed to know…

Jillian: OOOOOOW!!!!

Jillian lets out another yell but from behind, it’s Ron Simmons. London and Kendrick watch on as Melina stops Jillian and she turns around. Simmons shakes his head wondering what the hell is going on here before…

Ron Simmons: DAMN!

Simmons walks off now as we head into the arena.

Fully Loaded hits across the arena as out steps the Intercontinental Champion, Jeff Hardy. Hardy comes down the ramp with his title before he slides into the ring and climbs the turnbuckles. Hardy holds his title high as he looks around the arena and jumps off the turnbuckles preparing for the big match he has coming up.

Turn up the Treble hits across the arena as out steps the challenger, Mr. Kennedy! Kennedy walks down the ramp before sliding into the ring and looking around. He points to the heavens and down comes his microphone!

Mr. Kennedy: Ahem, ladies and gentlemen! You’re looking at the next Intercontinental Champion, the man from the great city of Green Bay, Wisconsin weighing in at an astonishing 243 pounds, my name is Misterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Kennedyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

Kennedy climbs the turnbuckles with the mic.

Mr. Kennedy: KENNEDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

Match #4
Intercontinental Championship
Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Mr. Kennedy

Match Overview: A well rounded match with both men giving it their all. Kennedy takes early advantages in the match as Hardy being the daredevil he is went at it early with some big time moves but ended up crashing and burning. It ended up hurting Hardy in the long run as Kennedy made sure he was going to pay for those mistakes. Kennedy rammed Hardy back first into the turnbuckles showing no mercy for the moves that Hardy made earlier in the match. They were bad choices and Kennedy continues to work over them by twisting the legs of Hardy and stomping on them. Kennedy hits Hardy with a huge kick right square to the back of the head before Hardy gets back onto his feet and runs into a back body drop from Kennedy. Kennedy makes his way onto the top rope, possibly looking for a Kenton Bomb! Kennedy looks ready to leap but Hardy runs up the ropes and tussles with Kennedy for a bit. Both men have a go at it before both leap off the ropes with a simultaneous neck breaker! Yes, both men had their hands wrapped around each other neck as the ref doesn’t know what to do other than count both men out. The ref eventually reaches the ten count as Kennedy and Hardy were both down and neither one could continue

Winner: No Contest

Jim Ross: It’s a shame we couldn’t crown a winner tonight but I can promise you we’re going to have a rematch in the future most likely.

Jerry Lawler: Indeed JR! And when we come back, it’ll be time for our main event! Shawn Michaels hooks up against Snitsky!

Jim Ross: Michaels has a tough task against him having to face a monster such as Snitsky but can he overcome the odds.

Jerry Lawler: We’ll see when we come back!

---Commercial---

We head backstage to see Todd Grisham standing by with Shawn Michaels.

Todd Grisham: Shawn earlier tonight it was announced that you will indeed get your rematch at Survivor Series. Your thoughts?

Shawn Michaels: Todd, my thoughts? I’m happy Todd.I’m Happy that I’m finally going to be able to end Randy Orton’s career. That’s exactly what Randy tried to do to me back in May at Judgment Day but that didn’t happen did it. Fast forward five months to October and I’m back and better than ever! I’m a new Heart Break Kid and I’m ready for one big fight at Survivor Series.

Todd Grisham: Well Shawn, you have a rather interesting history at Survivor Series, you think that will play any part into what happens?

Shawn Michaels: My past is gone now Todd. I don’t try to relive what happened in the past and there is no reason to even bring it up. But let me go ahead and say this to Randy. I’ve won a few of my World titles here at Survivor Series and I’d love to win another here. But make no mistakes Randy, if I don’t win the WWE title from you at Survivor Series, I’ll be back for more.

Todd Grisham: Finally, you’ve got a big match coming up against Snitsky. How did you prepare for a monster such as Snitsky?

Shawn Michaels: Todd, I didn’t really have much time to prepare. I had no clue I was going to even be wrestling tonight! As far as Snitsky goes, I look at him as just another obstacle in my way of getting back to the top! Randy, you’ve got three weeks left until Survivor Series so if I were you, I’d cherish every moment with that title because you never know when reality might end up kicking you right square in the face!

Michaels walks off into the arena as Sexy Boy hits across the arena. Michaels plays to the fans for a little while as he gets down and prays setting off his pyro. Michaels then slides into the arena, flexing his muscles as he waits for his opponent to come down to the ring now.

Unglued hits across the arena as a creepy looking Snitsky make his way down the ramp. Snitsky watches on as Michaels looks at him. Snitsky slides into the ring looking around before he walks over to the turnbuckles as the match begins.

Match #5
Shawn Michaels vs. Snitsky

Match Overview: A decent main event with not too much coming from it considering Snitsky isn’t exactly the most talented in-ring performer. However he does put on a decent show as he gives everything he has, which isn’t saying much. Snitsky had Michaels on his shoulder trying for a Running Powerslam but Michaels slid off the shoulders of HBK before throwing him off into the turnbuckles! Snitsky worked over Michaels for a bit but it didn’t seem for too long as HBK makes a come back. Michaels ducked underneath a Big Boot attempt before running off the ropes and knocking down Snitsky with a flying forearm! Michaels then ended up kipping up before waiting for Snitsky to get back to his feet. Michaels is in the corner tuning up the band waiting for Snitsky to get back up! Snitsky gets back up and wanders right into the Sweet Chin Music from HBK! Michaels falls on top of Snitsky with the cover as he gets the win!

Winner: Shawn Michaels

Michaels looks around the arena as he has his hand raised by the referee. The crowd yells for Michaels to turn around as Orton drops Michaels with an RKO getting revenge for the past few weeks when he has been hit by Sweet Chin Music repeatedly. Orton stares down Michaels with the title on his shoulder as the show comes to an end.

Default Re: WWE: The Revival

Opening Promo: Good way to hype up tonights encounter between Horny and Coach and Survivor Series Main Event and I like the No DQ angle

Match 1: Great match to starts off Raw, I like the team of Holly and Rhodes so Im glad they won and I see a SS match between them and Cade and Murdoch comin! Good match KOP, good job!

Santino/Maria Promo: Great promo! had me laughing! I just dont want to see Santino/SCSA little mini feud going on either although tbh that is a great way to put Marella over, good promo

Phoenix/Maria Match:Nice way to put Phoenix more over, a sqaush nonetheless but still helps! Good match, thats all I got

CAde and Murdoch promo: Like to see Murdoch and Cade arguing and I see a feud between the two coming but I may be wrong, good way to put Cade over as a major heel tho imo

Carlito Promo: I HATE Todd Grisham lol, so to see(read) Carlito spit in his face is pretty cool! lol but in all seriousness I liked it as it helps put DH Smith over and Carlito at the same time and am looking forward to a feud between the two!

Regal/coach/Vince Promo: 3 backstage segments in a row?! I like to see Coach in character with the laughing and is this a joke? I also liked to see Regal sucking up to Vince and since Coach is laughing so hard at Horny I think he will lose but thats just me lol

Horny/Coach: lol get it? horny coach ahhahahah, sorry... liked the comedy match and loved seeing Hornswaggle get a clean win over Coach, gets him over with the fans and puts some promo ideas for Coach to get humiliated out lol, good well written comedy match... The Aftermath with HHH and Umaga is realistic as I could see Umaga attacking Hornswaggle and The Game making the save! Good well written Match and Aftermath!

Londrick/Jillian/Melina Promo: I did not feel it was needed but it made me laugh so I think its fine, liked seeing Simmons back with the DAMN and the almost breaking the camera bit, ok job

Jeff vs. Kennedy match: Nice to see neither man lose, settin up for Tag match at SS im thinking, dont know what to think for the IC title, maybe a good feud until Mania Great match!

Grisham/Shawn: I felt that it was needed to help hype up SS and I see Orton coming out on top but IDK just yet, good promo

Snitsky/HBK: liked how you said he gave it everything he has which isn't saying much so that makes me like it lol, nice to see HBK go over with the Sweet Chin Music and beat Snitsky cleanly and then get attacked by Orton afterwards! Looking forward to Survivor Series and every show in between already lol

Overall: Great show man! Cant wait for next and hope Event is just as good!

so my review is not the best and doesnt help much but...

Very good opening promo, thought Regal was very in character setting up Coach against Hornswoggle. A no DQ rematch for Michaels will be good. Is this the Orton era? We'll wait and see

A big win for Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes, it appears these two will be on their way to a Tag Team Title match in the near future, some much needed competition for Cade & Murdoch.

Santino ripping the Condemned once again, I see a stunner in his near future (Not Maria).

Another dominant win for Beth Phoenix as she continues on her role as Women's Champion, the loss won't hurt Maria much either.

Mickie James & Trevor Murdoch maybe? Signs of a possible split between Cade & Murdoch. It'll be interesting to see where you take this, Cade at some point in his career definitley will have singles titles, but Murdoch...I'm not so sure.

Carlito versus DH Smith next week will be good and interesting to see if Smith remains unbeaten or if Carlito will get that much needed win.

Hornswoggle beats Coach! Well I don't think there will be many WWE Championships in Hornswoggle's future but I'll be interested to see how this "son" storyline develops.

save_us.x29? I wonder who that could be

I always love the Simmons segments, its lucky he came into that segment there actually because I was beginning to wonder where the Jillian thing was going lol.

Mr. Kennedy in line for an IC Title push maybe? Jeff Hardy's always seemed like a sort of transitional IC champion for me, between him and Umaga its like they just get the strap when there's nothing else for it. Kennedy on the other hand, it would be nice to see him have a run as champion.

Michaels gets a solid win over Snitsky (a rare main event outing for the big man) but gets dropped with an RKO which heats things up for Survivor Series. Who'll kick who's head off? We'll have to wait and see.

Overall a good solid starting show which started to build storylines. A job well done my friend.

Very good opening to promo to start the show, not too keen on the matches made for tonight with Hornswoggle v The Coach and HBK v Snitsky but then again it shows why you are the most realistic booker. Damn Realism

A good win for Cody/Holly and it looks like these two will be in the hunt for the tag team titles sooner or later.

Santino is awesome, but i smell a Stunner not too far away. Will be interesting to see what Santino's suprise is.

Good victory for Beth continuing to make her look strong but i would like to see her face real competition.

Interesting stuff, bit suprising you have kept this storyline into your thread. Signs of a Cade/Murdoch split? Hopefully not

Carlito v DH Smith part two next week, it will be interesting to see if Carlito gets his revenge for his loss the previous week. Always nice to see Carlito spit apple in people who can't defend themselves faces lol.

Meh not keen on this match but nice win for Hornswoggle and just shows how much of a loser The Coach is. LMAO great aftermath with Umaga Samoan Spiking Hornswoggle. Nice brawl between Triple H and Umaga with Umaga getting the better of HHH, hopefully we will get to see a match between them at Survivor Series instead of how it went in real life with the 10 man tag.

I hate you for reminding me of Jillian singing. The only highlight of the promo was Simmons Damn!

Good match here at first i found the finish pretty hard to imagine with the double neckbreaker off the top rope. Hardy v Kennedy in Ladder Match please

Good HBK interview, just your typical hype job

Not too much of a suprise but good win for HBK, good aftermath with Randy Orton getting revenge for the Past SCM's hitting HBK with the RKO getting some momentum into SS.

Overall a good solid very realistic show 8/10

Great openeing promo, Regal was in character and i love the ECW comment lol. No DQ match should be good also.

A win for Holly and Cody...seems they are getting a push soon and will most likely be getting a title shot soon, but i dont like the chemistry between them.

Santino still making fun of Austin? i bet next week hes gonna propose but it will be broken up by the sound of shattering glass.

Beth beat Maria, kind of obvious, shes dominant.

Mickie James and Murdoch might be getting together soon. i definantly see a split between Cade and Murdoch, and then a Murdoch push.

Glad to see a possible Carlito push, i hope he beats Smith, i dont really like Smith.

Not a fan of the Hornswoggle story, i knew he would beat coachman. i think Regals got some plans for him at SS.

Good match,i like how it went to a no contest, i assume the rematch will be at SS. i think Kennedy will pick up the win.

HBK beating snitsky??? I love HBK but i think Snitsky could have stayed unbeaten for a while. i figured the RKO would happen, Orton would have done that in real life also.

Great show 9/10, i hope you stick with this btb.

The opening promo started off slow as it seems like this thread is continuing right from where Cyber Sunday 2007 in real life left off. Orton though really made the promo work especially with his final few statements. Great job. Decent opening match, but I thought that WGTT would get the win here. Santino's promo was on point, and the diva's match was as good as expected, but Santino's action made the whole match and segment work. I'm glad that you are continuing the Murdoch/Mickie storyline as it could be a good storyline if booked right. However if Cade/Murdoch break up as a tag team, then my favorite tag team on Raw will be no more. Hopefully Carlito wins his match against Smith next week as Carlito needs a push in this thread. The Coach/Regal segment was good as it felt realistic and very much in character.

As you mentioned the Coach/Hornswaggle match was done just for comedic purposes so it makes sense that Hornswoggle won the match. It looks like you're continuing the Umaga/Hunter storyline as Umaga hits the Samoan Spike to Hunter. Nice segment with Londrick and Melina and Jillian. Jillian was written perfectly in character. Ron Simmons' appearance was great as well. The Intercontinental Championship ending was well booked and very original. Great booking since the feud will be continuing as it is a great feud.

Decent main event and interview segment from Michaels. Michaels winning was expected and Orton hitting the RKO on Michaels to end the show reminded me alot of when Orton hit the RKO on Cena on the Raw before Summerslam and the Raw before No Mercy.

Overall Comments: Great show man. Since the thread is based on recent times, it is more easier to follow the feuds and the storylines. While some of the promos and the matches could have been a little better, overall the show was really good. Looking forward to Hollywood Event's Smackdown and next week's Raw!

RAW Review

- The opening promo was okay but nothing outstanding. I couldn't get enough into it. William Regal was in character but could've been done better. Randy Orton however was better and Shawn vs. Orton at Survivor Series. I personally think only one world title should be defended at SS and this could've easily been made into a traditional SS match other than SmackDown or ECW situation. Snitsky vs. Michaels should be interesting as should Coach vs. Horny

- TWGTT are at the point of no return as jobbers so I've got no problem with them losing. I like Cody and Holly but this program is meant to elevate Cody and I hope you can do that well. The match had a lot of action and a good first match

- Santino was good as he always is. He could've been dealt with better but what the hay. SCSA and Marella's real life encounter was really funny. I'm wondering how you're planning on topping that

- Beth has been squashing divas on TV and I'm sad to see it continue in this BTB. Get her some real competition, maybe you could add in a storyline with Victoria being on SmackDown and wanting to challenge but it's kind of hard as different writers are writing the shows. Maybe Event and you could work something out.

- Cade doesn't like Mickie or is he just jealous about Murdoch getting the girl. I hope this doesn't break up the team as they're one of the best tag teams around. They should stick around but this is quite the interesting storyline.

- DH Smith and Carlito can have a good feud. maybe a Cabana around the corner or something. Smith is good and Carlito can work, hope this feud goes well. Spitting in the face of Todd was a waste of apple but it's Carlito, who can complain...it's cool right?

- A great match up for SS shaping up. Interesting for me. I didn't like Regal commenting on the watch as he's not the one to suck up atleast not in this gimmick. Coach was spot on character. i liked this short promo

- Is it Hornswoggle or Hornswaggle. I see a lot of people spelling it as Hornswaggle even though I use the 'o'. Anyway I didn't expect a clean win for Horny even with Coachman. A good comic match but bring a little more edge to the show (no pun intended) to make it a good mesh of drama and action and comedy and all sorts of other genres. The Umaga attack and Triple H save were good too but you could've worked these two better into the show

- The DAMN is getting really old. You should just ditch it from here on in. The segment was funny but the DAMN does not add at all to it

- I like the No Contest finish but both men have beaten the other before so it doesn't matter much but being a title match this was a good way to go. Good feud as well but you need these guys in a Classic SS elimination tag match this year

- Todd Grisham again? He just needs to appear once on the show even though I'm a huge mark of his!?1! HBK was in character but the show seems to be lacking something that makes it special. Snitsky is main eventing RAW the way he is ? He needs a better persona. Give it to him and you've got a real monster. The match was good though. Your matches are pretty well written. Orton took down Michaels after the match. Too generic again. I know that I concentrated a lot more on the negatives than the positives but the show was pretty good overall but you should build it up more.
