Re: JD SPUR Presents: Total Nonstop Action
Kaz beats D-Lo Brown: 8.5/10
Great starter match. Good to see Kaz heading to the finals of the X-Division title match. Although I believe he's worthy of the Heavyweight division, but that's just me.
RVD segment: 8.5/10
Great excuse for RVD to turn heel. I like the makings of this new Hellborn sons stable. Looks tops.
MCMG Segment: 8/10
Pretty okay segment. I'm not really a big Detroit fanatic, seeing as how I'm an Clevenader and the Cavs hate the Pistons, the Buckeyes hate the Wolves, the Indians hate the Tigers, you get the idea.
Angle/AJ promo: 7.5/10
Good job keeping AJ as the mediator. That's a good call. Obviously, the tension with Tomko trying to go his own way is gonna reach a boiling point at some point.
LAX wins the tag team battle royale: 8/10
Good to see LAX back in the hunt for the titles. It would've been better if it came down to 3D and LAX, but just as well, LAX won and that's the point.
Killings Segment: 8.5/10
Awesome promo for the heel Ron Killings. The only bad thing is when he said shizzle. That's not cool. But still, it was pretty good read.
James attacks Joe backstage: 8/10
Good segment with James attacking Joe with the beer bottle. Pretty violent touch to hte rivalry. But still, I come to expect this sort of thing from TNA, so it was realistic.
Daniels beats Williams: 7.5/10
A very WWE-like ending to this one. It actually would've been better if Petey was about to go for the Canadian Destroyer and Daniels countered into a jackknife pin and put his feet on the second ropes. But Kaz versus Daniels should be a good one.
Cage/Tomko segment: 8/10
Tomko's reasons for leaving the Alliance seem pretty acceptable and realistic. Christian pretty much gave away that he was gonna interfere with the next match.
RVD beats Booker T and the aftermath: 8/10
A normal chair shot is typical, but I guess it works the best. RVD should've got up and hit the 5-Star frog splash, but that was pretty good. Booker making the challenge afterwards was obvious, but six-sides of steel is a great add. Looking forward to see how you do the six-sides of steel with these two former WWE superstars.
Cage, Killings and Tomko beat Styles, Angle and Sting: 8.5/10
Hectic, typical TNA ending. The low blow was pretty nice at the end. Good to see the heels coming out on top at the end.
Overall: 89/100
Nice show, man. I felt like I owed you a review since you commented on my new thread. Anyhow, I hope you check out my first show whne it's up. Looking for to the Hammerstien Ballroom. It'll probably be in the likeness of ECW. Anyway good luck in the future. I'll be reading.

NEW MATCH ANNOUCED
TNA Management Director Jim Cornette had announced a new match for Against All Odds, in which 'Olympic Gold Medalist' Kurt Angle will take on the Coalition’s Tomko!
Jim Cornette said that he finally wants to see this two in the ring together, one-on-one. This comes after Kurt Angle was extremely upset about how Tomko decided to leave his group, The Angle Alliance, by costing Angle a match some said he was on course to win.
This past week on iMPACT! these two were in action against each other and met face to face in the ring with Angle getting the upper hand on Tomko. He gave his former friend a patented Angle Slam and Kurt's other finishing maneuver, the Ankle Lock. Even though Tomko and his team came out on top, it was clear that Kurt had got the upper hand on Tomko in the match.
These two will face in a grudge match at Against All Odds on the 10th February at the BI-LO Centre in Greenville. Be sure to check it out and contact you local operator for more information on buying this PPV. And be sure not to miss TNA 3 Hour Extravaganza live for the Hammerstein Ballroom this Thurday, 9PM on Spike TV. Also check for more updates during the week for match announcement for Thursday and for Against All Odds.

Re: JD SPUR Presents: Total Nonstop Action
Howdy, SPUR. I'm not exactly what you would call a TNA guy, but I must say this show was very impressive from my standpoint. Plenty of high spots, very well done. More on this later, but since I'm in a giving mood right now, I'll pass onto you a reivew (though you're not on my list )
619's Feedback For JD SPURs iMPACT!
Alright, like I said, I'm not exactly a TNA guy, so if I miss anything that's, like, TNA rutine and I'm not used to it, I apologize. Anywaay, let's get a good look at the first match here...wow, pretty solid. I think your matches would be great if they were all in full, but this style is pretty good in itself. Nice action here-I've never seem the Wave of the Future, but I'm guessing it involves the top rope from the way it's written here. Good match to advance Kaz and move him on. I'm actually curious to see where D'Lo goes after this...
Aparently, RVD is here in the thread and he's a really big deal-and he's heel! This promo was a great way to get him over as a heel, ****ging a stable that's pretty hated anyway. I'll be looking forward to his debut match later in the card.
Hmmmm...I'm trying to catch up on storyline a little bit here-so somehow, Tomko was associated with Angle and Styles, betrayed them, and re-aligned themself with Christian...? That's what I got from this anyway, but AJ was great in this. You caught his character on the nose-his constant grumbling and faith toward Tomko was pretty funny to read. Great job here
This tag team invitation had a weird kind of flow to it-in the middle of it, I kinda forgot that some teams were even there. I totally fortot LAX was there until the end-maybe it was just me. Young coming in by himself was sort of awkward-but Storm striking him wasn't. Though the awkward came right back when Joe comes from nowhere-I'd really like to see where that goes with those two. Anyways, good match-up here, but kinda odd that your tag champs would show up in it...maybe lack of competition? Whatever the reason, LAX going over them and earning their title shot next week is kinda weak booking, but it'll pay off next week, I can tell.
Don't know much about the Killings character, but this was definatley an entretaining part of the show.
Joe gets miked-Joe speaks into mike-Joe gets smashed. Damn, kinda didn't see that coming. Well, this just makes me want to see what else is gonna happen between these two as AGO approaches.
Daniels was pretty good thruought the ending parts of this match, and good to see him advancing. I would've prefered Petey, but I'll go with Daniels since now I have to . Kaz/Daniels in the finals, better make it as good as it should be
Good to see a little up-date on the condition of Lethal. Here's to hoping you can do something with him later.
Hmmm...wonder what Christian's got up his sleeve here...
...and now I don't have to wonder. Van Dam/Booker was a main event match for my thread, but hey this works too-really well. An advancement in RVD's heel character as he wins by heelish tactics-without actually performing htem. Wicked chair shot it seems and Van Dam takes advantage-very nice.
Woh...Booker is pissed! That's always fun to read/watch a mad Booker. Anyway...woh, big match here!! Six Sides of Steel sounds like fun later.
Great little read in the main event here. The way people came in deepened the storyline a little more, but I'm actually surprised to see Sting pinned right here. No surprise it was from Killings (apparently, they're going at it...I'm gathering much storyline here... ). Great match here.
FINAL THOUGHTS-INTERESTING AND ENTERTAINING; GREAT READ. This was the first show in a while I've read for fun that was actually fun. Very entertaining, and now it interests me. You mentioned/set up Against All Odds alot in the show, as i can see storylines developing. There were quite a few grammical mistakes, but I'll let those slide. The only other thing I have to say about the show is that although Sting was in the ME, I didn't see or hear from him thruought the entire program until then. Anyway, you've got a new reader here
OVERALL: 8.5/10

Re: JD SPUR Presents: Total Nonstop Action
JD Spur’s IMPACT Review
Alrighty, lets see how you’ve picked up from your last effort, which was still a good show.
The opening commentary was good, typical hype from the TNA Commentators. Other than the third word not having the “A” at the start of it, it was fine.
I was glad that Kazarian got the win here, I would’ve been pissed if D Lo went over. This was a solid match to get things under way. It had good psychology with plenty of changes in momentum. Kaz looked good here and I liked that you made constant note of his pace advantage. I don’t think this match flowed as well as it could’ve a little more use of commas would go along way and there were certain stages where you didn’t incorporate the crowd into it and you probably should have. None the less, a very solid match to start off the show. You showcased the X-Division very nicely.
Okay, the first line from James Mitchell didn’t go well, it really didn’t flow because of a big grammar error and it really set a bad precedent from the outset, although his character did look pretty good. RVD’s part was pretty good, some of his lines didn’t quite flow due to, you guessed it, grammar problems. RVD’s character seemed quite good although you are still trying to establish it for the most part. I really was right into the promo to be honest until you said that RVD let out a cry of anguish. I didn’t dig that at all. I really didn’t. Pretty decent promo though, you definitely did a good job of establishing Van Dam as a heel which obviously was the primary objective.
Hm. Are the MCMG heel? They seemed heel to me here. Anyway, you didn’t really focus on the match tonight but more the match at AAO. Besides, I’m fairly confident that LAX will win tonight as well, because having them lose heading into the match at AAO would be silly and poor booking. You need to work on establishing the MCMG as either faces or heels better because right now I have no clue. I’m assuming face but they sounded heel. You need to incorporate crowd reactions into promos, too.
This was a great promo for mine. Best of the show thus far. Kurt was very much in character and you portrayed him very nicely. AJ’s involvement was what made it so good for me, though. It was just so typically AJ, he was spot on. I look forward to seeing what will go down later on this evening. AJ should really go back to Tomko and Christian, though.
The tag match was hard to read. It was more of a highlight reel if anything. There was absolutely no flow what so ever and this one was really more for furthering storylines than anything. It was odd that you didn’t bold the elimination of XXX too, btw. Anyway, your spelling and grammar wasn’t that bad in this one, it is definitely improving. Okay, I’m glad that LAX won, but you need to clarify something for me; are the Motor City Machine Guns heel or face? Because them entering themselves is really a heel tactic but they then enter the match and play up the face move set, I’m confused. The champions entering themselves only to lose really is weak booking on your part I feel and if they were going to do that, they should’ve won, particularly if they are heels because it really gets people thinking “What happens now?” which is certainly a good thing.
This seemed to be a solid promo from The Truth. I don’t know much of his character but you did a good job hyping the match at AAO. Nice to see you incorporate the crowd into this one.
Hm. I didn’t dig this promo just for the way it was portrayed. The idea was good but you didn’t do a good job of putting it over. I am looking forward to seeing what happens between James Storm and Joe, though.
Solid match between Petey and Daniels. You really showcased the X-Division quite well but again, the spelling and grammar errors shone through. You’re demonstrating a really very solid match writing ability and a decent knowledge of moves, but you really do need to fix up the spelling and grammar because it fucks up the flow. Daniels winning was no surprise because as usual you are going with the regular face v heel mentality. Going by that, Daniels should beat Kaz next week but I sincerely hope it is the other way around. BTW, where has Sonjay Dutt been tonight? He’s your X-Division champion, yet he’s been no where to be seen?
Generic interview with Lethal. Fair enough I spose, nothing spectacular though. I’m sure you have something big planned for him.
Hmm. Christian. Christian is up to something.
I’m now starting to think that certain letters on your keyboard don’t work, as they constantly disappear.
Hm. RVD v Booker T. That’s cool. PPV worthy. Booker was always losing this match although he does come out of it looking quite strong other than the fact that RVD kicked out of the book end. RVD went for the “Five Star Flog Slapsh” huh? Dude, you can’t mess up the names of peoples finishers. This was a very solid recap, but it could’ve been better had it no been for the spelling and grammar. That’s the sort of thing that can tarnish your matches and they will definitely do so with yours because they’d really be quite good if they were non-existent, since that’s the only problem I find myself constantly having.
Solid promo from Booker T, his character was spot on although you should’ve noted that Booker was still feeling the effects of the chair shot. Or something.
Okay. Main Event time. I’m really confused. Angle is feuding with a face Sting as well as feuding with a heel Christian and a seemingly tweener/heel Tomko while Christian is also feuding with a face Booker T. All the while AJ Styles is just thrown in the middle of the whole thing. And the face Sting who is feuding with Angle is also feuding with the face/tweener? Ron Killings. You really need to clear things up, especially the face/heel dynamic with who is what. Because your Main Event scene is confusing me. It’s called the “Coalition”, by the way. Okay, I liked that AJ wouldn’t fight Cage and Tomko, that was cool. But Tomko gets the hot tag and acts like a face and he brings AJ into the ring, the guy who wants to be his friend and beats the hell out of him thus ensuring his heel status. Fuck I’m confused. Lol. Clear it up. The end of the match was solid, it had good psychology about it and it did tell a good story. It definitely established The Truth as a heel. (THANK GOD FOR THAT!) But I’m still confused with the status of Angle, Tomko, Christian and AJ. One minute AJ acts face, then he acts heel. One minute Tomko is beating the crap out of AJ like a heel then he cleans house and plays the crowd like a face? WTF? That’s lost me. Actually I’m not confused about Christian, he’s definitely a heel at first I thought he might be face or turning, but definitely not. Sting getting pinned was the wrong decision in my opinion because the major story of the match was not about the feud between he and Killings but more about the mess that is the situation between Christian, Tomko, AJ and Kurt – You need to fix that up and FAST! Next week, for instance. Anyway, Sting getting the pinfall by way of dirty tactics from Christian and Killing or not was the wrong decision, one of the other two should’ve been pinned, particularly since Sting is the champion, he hasn’t had much build in this show or the last and he was the only face (I Think) in this match come the end of it. Solid match bud, just didn’t like the way it was booked. The best thing about this though, it definitely gets me asking “What the fuck is going to happen next?”
Overall this was another solid show. The best thing about your shows is that they are an easy read and they don’t drag on plus you’re improving with each show. You really need to clear up that situation with Kurt, Cage, Tomko, AJ and such. It is a real mess atm. And mate, I can’t wait for you to start writing your shows in Microsoft Word. Spell-check is your friend. I’m definitely looking forward to next weeks show man. Put a lot of effort into it, if you still can’t use spell check, I HIGHLY recommend you read and RE-READ your shows before you post them because some of your errors are glaring ones. However if your spelling is the only thing I have a problem with, then you must be doing the rest pretty alright. Well done mate, you’ve definitely got a regular reader here.

Well this was a start of a turn forthem, which would seem me make LAX more of the babyfaces and MCMG into the cocky arrogant heels, this will keep happening over the next couple of weeks. Item one cleared up for you.

Yes you are right, it was. Normally I would just do the ending to matches but I thought if I surrise this match, hence the SUMMERY at the start then you would know who is entered, how fueds have moved along; such as Hellborn Sons/Abyss Team and LAX/MCMG

Okay here goes. Angle is angry with Tomko for turning on him, hence why they are facing at AAO. Sting and Killings were in the match because they are facing at AAO, nothing to do with the other four, so Kurt is not feuding with Sting at this moment in time. Cage and Booker are feuding, Cage was in the match becasue he and Tomko are a team, AJ is unsure weather to **** Cage and Tomko or stay with the more bullyish Angle. Tomko is a tweener like he is in real TNA as is AJ. Kurt is Big Time Heel. CC is Heel. CC is staying out of Tomko and Kurt's buisness as he has Booker to deal with. Killings is now had a turn to heel, and Sting the obvious babayface. Hope that clears all your confusion up Phew.

Yes AJ won't fight them because he wants still to be friends, but Tomko has had enough ( like he said in the earlier promo) and just goes crazy. Aj in all this still wants to help Kurt but not hurt CC and Tomko.

_______________________
- Yes as you can see above you there is the offical poster for TNA PPV Against All Odds, which will take place on the 10th of February 2008, Live from the BI-LO Center in Greenville, South Carolina. Looking at it, well it has the most likely 'main events', with Ron Killins and Sting, and CC and Booker as the main pictures. The tagline 'Every Dog Has It's Day' is what we take it as that there will be 'underdogs' going into the matches and then coming out on top. Which means maybe Sting will lose to Killings .... nah we don't think so.
- Now onto more TNA news. Thursdays edition of iMPACT! scored a 1.4 which is showing TNA's slow but steady improvment. Now that it's going head to head with WWECW; which scored a 0.7. This was a tester by WWE to see how much of a threat TNA really is, and while it's WWE's worst brand it still is not showing good ratings against the more popular iMPACT. Maybe signs of things to come in the future?
- This past week saw lot's of development in storylines, Joe and Storm being one of them and we have inside information that these two will go at it on the 3 hour live edition this week and hen have a rematch at AAO, probaly open the show with that one. RVD also made his debut this week and beat Booker T is a dirty vicotry with help from Cage. RVD and the Hellborn Son's vs. Abyss storyline is going to reach a head this week as well and matches will be annouced for AAO. MCMG also were on-screen on what seemed to be as heels? We will see if it was a one time thing this week or maybe a full turn? And onto a not so good performance, D'Lo Brown has been told by TNA officals to lose some weight, about 10 - 15 pounds becasue they felt he was sloppy in the ring on Thurday and want to cement him as a X-Division wrestler.
- Speaking of titles, like the X-Division, it has been swearling around that in the next 3 to 4 months that a new mid-card title will be introduced, no word on that as of now but when we get offical conformation we will post it here right away.
- And the real reason Sonjay Dutt wasn't at the tapings was he was recovering from an injuray he picked up last week, not the reason given by TNA, seeing a 'recovering' Jay Lethal, who himself is just resting from wrestling, but should be back like he said in a couple of months. Dutt should be back this week.
- And last but not least good luck to TNA on their 3 Hour Live iMPACT! Show from the Hammerstein Ballroom. All week they have been setting up the arena for the night and it's been going well acourding to the offical TNA website. Normally iMPACT is a taped show and they tape alot of time ahead. The next show after the 3 hour live one will be taped on Monday and the next after that on Wednesday.
- Thats all from us check out next week to find your weekly installment of TNA news.
